happy pride month ! i think i’ve touched on my lgbtq+ hcs for the characters a couple of times (one was an edit that the official gone instagram liked 🫦 ) but i’ve never gone into excessive detail for my choices so i thought i’d finally do that here !!

sam: pan, he/him. will genuinely just fuck anything that breathes. first kiss was quinn and refuses to admit he actually liked it

caine: bi, sometimes ftm depending on my mood (ain’t no way he didn’t name himself regardless of the hc the dramatic mf), he/him

astrid: ace lesbian, she/her. she grew up religious so she had no idea what was goin on. sam helped her realise that even if she did like sex, it wouldn’t be w him 😭

diana: bi, she/her. i have no notes she just is

quinn: bi, gender fluid, he/they/she. hasn’t made a single sound decision in her life and refuses to start now. also wears fedoras and that is a very bisexual thing to do. had a crush on edilio at one point i feel it in my bones. also caine. also sanjit. just very bisexual. falls in love VERY easily

drake: pan, ftm, he/him. the misogyny is internalised due to both trauma and yk, the patriarchy and i will die on this hill (totally named himself after his grandfather). i also like hcing angry aggressive violent characters as pan bc pansexuals are stereotyped as the bubbly happy person and i don’t like that

lana: bi, she/they. she gives me mean bisexual vibes.

brianna: aroace, nonbinary, they/them. they said nope to EVERYTHING.

jack: trans ftm, het, he/they. i like the idea of a wimpy trans guy getting the power of super strength. it’s refreshing.

albert: ace, he/him. i feel like he cares more about reinventing capitalism than sex

dahra: demisexual, she/her. was torn between elwood and mary the ENTIRE series i’m sure of it

elwood: trans ftm, het, he/him. i can’t explain this he just like,,, is

mary: lesbian, she/her. nothing to say except my sweet little lesbian deserved better

anna: mtf trans, lesbian, she/her. i have no basis for this besides thinking it’d be funny if sam decided he needed to date someone and randomly chose the trans fucking lesbian like they’d probably talk about girls together 😭

sanjit is probably vehemently he/him cishet but has very strong bi wife energy. also ironically flirts w EVERYONE bc he is very secure in his sexuality we stan

However, I don't exactly. Well, I kinda do but in a non-satisfying way. Basically, I projected the heck out and, for the people who were on this blog before they probably know, I headcanon all my favourite characters as asexuals. And by that I mean all the lps pets, all humans, e v e r y o n e. Is it realistic? Lmao, not in the slightest, but I can't bring myself to do it any other way (Also, I'm sex repulsed, fuuuuuuc).

Also, while we're talking about it, can we talk about that whole Vinnie is gay stuff? Like, hells yeah, I love Vinnil of course, and I don't mind him being gay, but, man, there's something I need to say. I don't like how Vinnie and Sunil by a LOT of people back in the day were being sold as this "omg looks how close they are, they HAVE TO 100% be boyfriends". And I'm like, no, no. Dare I say it was toxic. It's one thing when talking about fictional characters, but think about how boys seeing this could have felt. Finally, a cartoon gives us two male characters that have a strong friendship and are quite affectionate with each other. And then everyone is saying they have to be a couple. We keep saying that men should also be allowed to be affectionate with each other, but then when they are, we automatically insist they're gay. No. There are man in real life who very much can't be affectionate even if both parties are okay with it because others will just non-cricitally accept that they are gays while they might not be. And I don't know about you, but I, a very much asexual person, wouldn't want to be seen as gay or bi or anything else that I'm not. All I'm saying is, if two male characters have are affectionate with each other, it does not mean we should assume they're gay (Vinnil still rules though).

Do pronouns count as lgbtq headcanons? I think so? But unfortuantely, I don't have any pronouns headcanons, or more like I just use the ones they use in the show so he/him for da boys and she/her for gals. Now, don't get me wrong, I don't dislike other pronouns (though some I find very confusing, and by some I mean neopronouns. Not in a "ugh, I hate them" but man, someone has to say it, they are so many of them and they are not something you see everyday. I remember trying to read a fanfic in which one character used neopronouns and gave up half-way through), but I always had this mindset of using only the pronouns they use in the show, not only lps of course. Now, you might say that lps doesn't have any other pronouns because it was made in 2012 and for a while after that. And! You would be right. Maybe if it was made today we would have characters who use they/them etc. But alas we don't. And I don't like selling pronouns like hot cakes.

Srsly, let me know if I make these responses much bigger than they need to be xd. I just like talking about my babies. As always, feel free to send more. I'm so normal about this show.

Hakuba’s Missing Aunt (DCMK X LUPIN III)

(The White Horse Au)

Remember when I said I’ll make that DCMK and Lupin III (kind crack) crossover? Well, here it is.

I love when two hot dangerous and badass people flirt, like Mr and Mrs Smith kinda thing. And also because why should Lupin get all the fun. 

They are non-binary

Ethel (Arlington-Bloodworth) is a freelance ‘informant’. They are the twin of Hakuba’s mother Earlena. They left her family when they was 16 due to differences between them and being put under too much family pressure. 

They spent their youth training under unsavoury people, where they learned to sneak around and steal. They worked her youth as a freelance assassin. But after their mentor was murdered by the Black Organisation, they stopped assassination works and shifted to information gathering and sharing. 

Out of the four, Fujiko was the first one they got to know. They had a casual fling and worked together to do a job. After that job, they kept in touch and kept the fling going on from time to time. (Everyone is LGBTQ I say so myself)

They was introduced to the Lupin gang by Fujiko during a heist. The heist went bad and the gang was being chased by some bad guys, so Fujiko called them to help the gang

After that meeting, they has run into the gang quite a few times. They are usually around to help them and just spends the time flirting with Jigen at the heist. (Kinda like rivals to lovers thing)

They both are highly skilled people and are like Mr and Mrs Smith. Jigen is more of a tsundere but they still have unresolved sexual tension.

They first learned about Hakuba due to her investigation of the Black Organisation. At first, they thought Hakuba was just another annoying detective but while digging for more info, they saw Hakuba’s mother’s name and realised Hakuba is their niece.

They decided to pose as a fake client to get to know Hakuba better. While they managed to get off without revealing their identity, hakuba is still suspicious of their.

In terms of appearance, they are a brunette but has a massive collection of wigs and fake hair due to her job. They have tattoos all over their body from their arm to even one on their rear. 

They prefers leather and more edgy clothes. Think Tom Ford Gucci, Mugler, YSL, David Koma etc. They like wearing more risque outfits and has fun teasing Jigen in them.

They are a morally grey character and is not always a good person. They has killed people and will kill people if she has to. They are not on the good side and will not hesitate to murder if necessary. 

Will probably add more in the next post. If you all have any good ideas do share them with me. 

I try to avoid doing the whole x falls in love with an OC thing, cause I typically hate those. But Jigen deserves a love interest or even a fling who doesn’t end up dead and I will provide that. That man deserves better.

He didn’t know until you came out to him honestly. He knew all his other siblings were trans but with all the work Diavolo gave him and adding new students from different realms on top of that he hadn’t really had time to notice any minor changes in you.

He feels guilty about this and immediately makes sure(like everyone else)to ask for your pronouns, name, and how you would like to present yourself from now on.

Fixes your ID cards and your papers with Diavolo right after dinner

God. He’s such a dad and he gets you things that have your new name on them. You wake up to see you have a new pencil case with your name embroidered on it with matching pencils. God.....he’s so weird i love him so much

Asmo does most of your clothing shopping but for formal wear he takes you shopping! He’s not about to buy you some cheap tux or gown ok it’s gonna be over 2000 grim and he’s gonna get you three of them STOP HIM

He’s not the best with verbal affection so he writes down notes that are like “you looked very handsome/pretty today.” or when he first starts writing them they’re like “you’re a boy/girl/kid. i’m proud of you.” Thank u mr morningstar

You want surgery or to start hormones??? He will stop all his work with Diavolo and spend forever looking up things for you, he wants you to be as safe as possible(pls he almost fainted after he realized you’d have to give yourself a shot like everyday dhdhdhjdhd hc that demons/angels don’t have to do hormone therapy i’m so JEALOUS)

Practices saying your pronouns in his study when you first come out. He just wants to make sure you feel as safe as possible in his care(and he remembers how terrible it felt to be misgendered)

Guess what....he loves you no matter what :)

Mammon

You’re blind as hell if you couldn’t see his top scars but I respect it

King DOES slip up on your pronoun change but always immediately corrects himself. Satan has a spray bottle that he sprays Mammon with when he does it. Mammon is NOT amused but the same can’t be said for Belphie.

Gender affirming activities??? Oh yeah like robbing a bank?? That’s pretty gender neutral and trans right?? Yeah!!! Wow such a good supportive brother.

If you want you can wear the formal wear Lucifer bought you to the said bank heist. Boom trans rights

You can practice painting his nails or doing his makeup if you’re too nervous to do it on yourself first!! Dw if it’s bad he also can’t do makeup or paint nails so once you let him return the favor you’re both laughing and Asmo is distraught.

KING at dying hair he will get you whatever you need and if you want an entire different hair cut entirely he’s ON it

Very used to being Loud and Brash but if you need someone to talk to about anything really he always calms down and sits down to listen to whatever you have to say.

HSMTMTS HCs: Caswell Cousins + EJxRickyxGina Edition

Before EJ asks Gina out he kisses Ricky for practice. Definitely practice. There is absolutely nOtHiNg going on there. (There is in fact, a thing going on there).

EJ buys Ricky expensive things to woo him. Ricky is very confused by this.

Gina was a Girl Scout, bet your ass she got herself the Gold Award (the GS equivalent of the Eagle Scout award).

EJ was a Boy Scout but he kinda stopped going during high school. He still somehow managed to get his Eagle Scout award though. (He founded the LGBTQ+ club at East High for his project). Or he built a bridge somewhere.

Ashlyn was probably a Girl Scout too tbh. I feel like she ended up getting a Gold Award too if only because she finishes what she sets out to do.

Ricky never made it past Cub Scouts.

EJ has a movie theater movie room in his house and often invites everyone for movie nights!!

Ricky puts M&Ms in his popcorn.

Gina steals popcorn from EJ.

EJ just makes popcorn with the popcorn maker until he's out of kernels.

HSM is banned from movie nights (except for special ocassions). Special occasions such as the following: someone has a Bad Day, someone needs a comfort movie, EJ won't shut up about how relatable Scream in HSM 3 is, Gina feeling homesick, ect.

After watching HSM3 for the first time Ricky and Big red reenact The Boys Are Back except it's at the skate park and Ricky ends up breaking a bone or two.

Ricky and Gina both steal EJ's sweatshirts constantly. It gets to the point where EJ has to ask them for a hoodie cause he literally has none left.

Ricky loves EJ's water polo jacket.

Ashlyn is very confused by the 3's dynamic but u bet ur ass she terrified Ricky when she gave him the shovel talk.

another Rich rich kid, also pretty chill about it, he also goes to a public school, not out of him rebelling, though, but cause his dad didn't bother to sign him up into any private school, it was azula who rebelled against daddy dearest and went to school with him (i like the idea of zuko and azula actually being like, close, ok?)

fiercely protective of his friends and sister, he has gotten into the Most fights in the school (and several known creeps, along with the weird science teacher, got attacked by a person in a blue demon mask, all ending up in the hospital, said teacher got fired for being...too close with some female students)

he's also skilled in like, tons of shit, he's taken kickboxing, played soccer, knows how to play a guitar, and still for some reasons tells everyone he meets that azula is the smart one.

Azula

she is, EVERYWHERE, smartest girl in the school, the best grades, in basically any and every club, head cheerleader, all of it.

to be clear, in this Au, azula isn't like, That different, she's still snarky, has a silver tongue that cuts like a knife if she wants, can probably kill you (and would) in most ways, and the smartest person in basically any given room, but she's also like, human, and something was different enough in their childhood which made azula realize that "maybe dad is wrong, and i should stick by zuko" and it's done wonders for her, despite their fathers displeasure (she is planning on killing him once she's 16 though, like, honest to god, has a google doc for it and everything, so i mean, the more things change)

she secretly is obsessed with pokemon, the only other person who knows is zuko.

every single one of them is Bi, or at least, very Very comfortable with their sexuality. like, sokka and azula seem very much like the types to lounge about, and cuddle with literally anyone. they also basically flirt with anyone, sokka and zuko have kissed several times, and like, they aren't romantically interested in each-other, it's very much "this is my husband sokka, this is his husband zuko" type situation. aang is the type of person who was like out of the closet at birth like, he never even considered liking boys and girls at the same time wasn't an option. azula and katara also founded their schools LGBTQ+ club, and anyone who tried to stop it's formation, or get it banned, got lit on fire.

there's other characters i wanna do, but can't think of anything for them yet,

ship wise, i'm feeling pretty feral, sokka is probably gonna be with suki (and get pegged) i'm feeling like katara would get a girlfriend in this particular au, who she'd be with idk yet. i'd also pair up toph and aang, but, zuko and azula, is what's troubling me, cause, i could pair azula with katara, i do like that ship, and i could do something interesting, like maybe pair zuko with someone strange like jet, or ty lee, since mai honestly kinda bores me, but i'm feeling...kinda zucest, here? like, i know, I Know. but, azula is the type who doesn't exactly understand right or wrong, and doesn't really get what society may feel as taboo, that's why her sexuality is so clear to her, and she's not afraid to be open about it, so like, she loves her brother, you know? this does not seem like something that'd be unusual for the character. my problem here is, what does this mean for zuko, especially when he learns of these feelings? well, from a very early age, they've relied on each other, dad basically disowned zuko, and mom was convinced azula was the devil, so when they needed comfort, they went to each other, once they realized they're being played against each other, and that's been the story since basically childhood onto high school, she's the one who tutors him if he falls behind on any subject, he's the one who helps her make more friends, even if he himself can be anti-social, they're both equally protective, if i was gonna go the Safe route, i'd say he should turn her down, and they'd have a stronger relationship cause of it, But... the devil on my shoulder is telling me he wouldn't be as against it as he should be, that it's more in character than i'd like to admit. and, while, obviously, the elephant in the room is still prevalent, i can't just, ignore what seems like the natural progression of these two characters given the situation i've put them in,

What attracted him to you is your personality at most, how innocent you were, how you never had any trouble communicating with him (even though he has a bad reputation), and how you stick up for yourself when you’re getting bullied. Those traits were just the beginning, and before Akira knew it, he’s already in love with you.

But the one thing he hated yet loved about you is how oblivious and clueless you are. Like you can’t pick up someone flirting with you unless someone told you about it, though you’ll still deny it stating they were just being nice.

This has an advantage and disadvantage at the same time.

Advantage because that means you weren’t interested in any boys and friendzone them immediately. Disadvantage, he gets friendzone as well.

Like the rest of the Phantom Thieves can tell their leader is already in love with you, and they tried helping him by making hints about it to your clueless self. Futaba practically screamed, “he’s in love with you!”. And you’ll be like, “Oh! I love him too! I also love all of you!” shots fire

But nevertheless, Akira never gave up. He persisted through your oblivious self by giving you your favorite flowers, favorite food and things you like. 

You, of course, thought he was just a caring friend (even though you wanted to believe he likes you just the same way you like him, but that’s just a secret).

I can see him taking his time in confessing to you, and when he does. You immediately friendzone him down. 

But he never gave up. He persisted that you two should go out, and you always thinking it’s a friendly hang-out. Akira’s actually, surprise surprise, on the verge of giving up, he actually doesn’t know what to do.

Even though you were clueless, you managed to notice his personality towards you shift. You thought, at first, it was something you did. But you realized (with the help of the Phantom Thieves) that Akira love you as much as you love him. 

This time, you were the one who confessed to him. To say he was shock was an understatement. He was overjoyed when you confessed to him your feelings, he literally grab you and hug you in pure joy. 

Ryuji Sakamoto

Ohh... boy.. here we go.

What attracted him to you is your willingness to support him, to befriend him and to take care of him, even though Kamoshida forbids everyone to talk to Ryuji. This poor bby admires your determination and willingness to break the rules just to take care of his body.

He has never admired you this much before, but now, he’s falling deeper in love with you.

His two friends, Ann and Akira, noticed his attraction to you so they endlessly teased him about it. The two of them even managed to pair you two up for a project, how they manage to do that, Ryuji doesn’t even want to know.

However, doing this said-project, is when he confessed his feelings to you. You. being clueless and oblivious, state you feel the same as him and hope you two continue being friends. OuCH--

Even though Ryuji wanted to give up, the now Phantom Thieves slap him back to his senses (Well.. Ann did the slapping). Now, Ryuji is more determined than ever.

Ryuji took Akira’s advice to take it slow, though Ryuji prefers a fast-pace since he’s impatient, he decided to do it. He waited patiently for you, giving you little trinkets he found and give you flowers he managed to steal from the flower shop.

How you still remain clueless is beyond him. Practically EVERYONE KNOWS HIS FEELINGS FOR YOU. ARE YOU THAT BLIND?! 

Anyway, for you to realize his feelings for you is one way, someone has to tell you and stick it through your thick skull. Which, in this case, is Ann. 

Ann might not seem like it but she deeply cares for Ryuji (AnnxRyuji fan here) and seeing him on the verge of giving up upsets her. So she confronted you. 

After this encounter with Ann, you immediately confessed to Ryuji the next day. How stupid you were, how you never realize you were hurting him so much, how you already love him as well.

Ryuji, at first was awestruck and speechless, like he’ll stand there, staring at you with mouth open. You need to say his name several times before he could snap out of his trance. He immediately screamed happily as he jumps around like a madman, screaming “I FINALLY GOT HER! WHOOO!”

You could only giggle at the sight.

Ann Takamaki

What attracted her to you is your willingness to stand up for what you believe is right and how you stood up for your friend. She was amazed when you started screaming at Kamoshida, who was about to hit your friend. She has grown to respect you, and soon came to love you even.

Of course she would subtle about this and try to act like everything was normal (alongside her bad acting skills). You and her immediately hit it off, much to her immense pleasure.

She found out your favorites and you two frequently hang out with each other. When she realized she likes you more of a friend, she panic. I mean, not everyone is accepting about LGBTQ+ community, hOW WAS SHE SUPPOSED TO TELL YOU THIS?!

Ann would DEFINITELY confined to Akira, Morgana and Ryuji about this, two of the people she could trust at the time being, alongside you. Morgana would probably be upset but he’ll eventually accept it. Both Akira and Ryuji said the same thing though, much to her displeasure, “be yourself”, “if you like her, go get her!” and “we’ll be here supporting you two.”

She knew they mean well, but that only makes her anxiety skyrocket. So she decided to just tell you directly. You, being your clueless self, thought she meant being your best friend, but she shot it down saying she wants to be your girlfriend, which made you blush.

Ann thought you were disgusted of her so she decided to walk away with a sad, teary face. You could only watch her as she walk away, like her, you were also conflicted. 

For the next few days, everyone could tell something was wrong with the two of you. They always see you two hanging out together, but now, it’s like you two were strangers to one another.

You, having enough of this, gathered your courage and march over to her classroom. When she tried to ignore you, you huff and welcome yourself to their classroom and walk towards her. She panic as she tried to run away, but you grab her wrist in time.

“When will you stop running away from me?!”

“When the tension between us is gone!”

“But.. I like you too, Ann!”

This cause her eyes to widen at your confession. And tears began to pour out of her eyes, she doesn’t know if its relief or happiness, but now she knew her feelings were requited and you feel the same about her.

She promises that the two of you will go through everyone’s criticism together.

Yusuke Kitagawa

What attracted him to you is your artistic skills, yes, nothing more. Jk. No, that’s only the beginning. He does admit he admires your skills in art, but what he adores about you is how you smile to him, welcome him to the school, how you gave him some of your food and help him in buying art supplies by halving your allowance. He’s forever grateful to you.

Unfortunately, this boy is the same as you, being oblivious to the fact he loves you MORE than a FRIEND. Which made his friends sigh at the two of you. Well, you know the saying, “Two idiots are better together.” 

“There’s no such saying like that.” -Makoto

Though Yusuke’s case is much more understandable, since he didn’t grow up in a favorable household, with no one telling him love and such. He devoted his life in his arts, and was pick up by his master, Madarame. But was ultimately betrayed by him.

Anyway, you two will hang out like normal. But, unlike your clueless self, Yusuke will pick up on his heart beating faster around you, how he started to become nervous whenever he’s near you and how he started to view you in a different light.

He thought he was ill, really. Until the Phantom Thieves explained to him that he was in love with you. 

He decided to believe in them, I mean, there’s no reason for them to lie, right? So he asked their advice.

“Ooh! Ask her to paint her nude!”

“NO! FUTABA-CHAN!”

“That’s brilliant! Why didn’t I think of that?”

“...” 

“...Yusuke.. no.”

So Yusuke decided to just tell you, but he didn’t account to the fact that you were also clueless and oblivious. So when he confessed to you, you were confused.

Yusuke decided to explain to you what he understand from his friends. And you started to understand it as well.

And the two of you decided to try it out, if it fails, then the two of you can still be friends. But not to worry! Luckily, the feeling of love is mutual between the two of you, and you two were NOT planning to break it off any time sooner.

Makoto Niijima

What attracted you to her is your dedication to your studies and beliefs, how you also carry yourself in such a prideful manner yet everyone around you respects you (which she’s totally not jealous of) and the fact that you will stand up to yourself if you feel them saying something bad about you or the people. Makoto admires these traits of yours from afar as she watches you animatedly argue to the teacher about something which she doesn’t understand, she marvels at the sight of you.

If you’re in the Student Council, she would try to befriend you. But she’s so socially awkward that you decided to be her friend, probably out of pity. She was BEYOND embarrassed at this encounter, it was so unlike her! But nevertheless, she was happy that you’re her friend now.

You two can be seen hanging out in Makoto’s office as she signs all the papers while you are either helping her or just talking to her about your day. She’s happy either way really, but she much enjoys hearing your voice over her scribbles on the papers.

You might think Makoto is also oblivious or clueless, but I don’t think she’s that kind of person. I think she knows that she’s falling in love with you and, like Ann, panics about it.

Unlike Ann though, Makoto doesn’t confides it to her friends, preferring to keep it to herself. But if Akira max out her friendship, she would bring it up to him. Akira just listens as she explains it to him, before saying the same thing he said to Ann.

Nervous would be an understatement for Makoto. You might think she’ll confront you about her feelings, oh no no my dear. I believe she’ll outright IGNORE it.

You’ll slowly notice how Makoto tries to ignore you and avoid you. You think that you must’ve done something wrong for Makoto to act like this. So, you did the most logical thing, you did a Kabedon on her.

She shriek a bit when your hand slammed on the wall behind her as she stares at your innocent face. “W-Wha--?”

“Why’re you ignoring me, Mako-chan?” 

She b l u s h e s. 

She tried run away from you but you hold her in place with your hand on either side of her body. 

With no other options, she decided to just tell you about her feelings. 

You listened as she spills out her secret to you, that she’s bi, that she likes you for a while and that if she tells you, she’ll risk getting told off by other people and risking losing you. 

I think, even though you’re clueless and oblivious, you knew that she meant more than a friend. You told her the truth, that you don’t really know what kind of love you hold for her (she saddened at that) but when she confessed, it made your chest beat faster and float. 

Makoto blinks, once, twice, thrice, before flashing you a smile and bringing you in a relieved hug. Tears started to build on her eyes as she exhale a sigh of relief.

She also promises you that you two will go through the criticism of society together.

Haru Okumura

What attracted her to you is how you also took an interest to plants and take care of them. She’s also attracted to your strong will to be yourself despite everyone telling you to change, you paid them no heed. You also don’t let others push you around, not even your parents (if you have one). 

Out of all the girls, she’ll immediately accept the fact she’s bi and in love with you.

I would like to think she’ll also take it slow in asking you out, Like Akira, she’ll start out with giving you small trinkets that reminded her of you, giving you your favorite food and giving you meaningful flowers. (I would like to think she knows Victorian Flower Language).

She would probably be subtle about her affection towards you. But I would DEFINITELY see her giving you flowers that means admiration, affection and love. (With you being clueless about the meaning of the flowers).

Haru, unlike the others, doesn’t mind if you’re clueless and oblivious to her affection. In fact, she enjoys seeing you being your clueless self. 

I think she’ll be open about her feelings to you to her Phantom Thieves, with them accepting her for who she is. 

Unlike before, she had to hide the fact she’s bi since her father thought it was a disgrace to the Okumura’s family name. But now, no longer in her father’s control, she can be open about her sexuality and no longer feels insecure about it.

When she confesses to you, expect it being simple enough. She would bring you two flowers that means love (White Carnation and Red Carnation). You would accept them, of course, and then she would confess her love to you.

You, being your clueless self, thought meant that she wants to be more than friends. “So.. we’re best friends now?”

Haru, nonetheless, giggles as she shakes her head. “Nope. I want to be your partner for life, [Y/N]-chan! Your girlfriend!”

When it finally register in your mind, you immediately became twins to the Red Carnation. Haru giggles once more to your cute expression as she brings you to a hug.

(I hope you accept her confession, or else you’ll feel the wrath of the Phantom Thieves...)

You two will DEFINITELY promise to each other that you’ll love each other, no matter what anyone says. 

Futaba Sakura

What attracted her to you is how funny you can be and how good you are in programming, like hacking and encoding codes. How you speak for yourself if you’re being downgraded by someone. How you speak so easily to someone about technical stuff. She REALLY wants to befriend you, but she’s still a socially-awkward NEET girl.

You’ll probably notice her staring at you, before her turning her head away in embarrassment. You have to be the one befriending her in this case. 

When you befriend her, you two will be inseparable. You two will do everything together, prank calling someone, hacking into a website, encoding codes, and probably make a game together.

Futaba was so happy that she finally has a friend that’s almost like her, seeing the world in the same yet different point. 

I can totally see her like Yusuke, being oblivious and clueless about her feelings to you.

When Futaba started to feel something weird happening to her, she freaks out. IS SHE SICK?!

The Phantom Thieves, and Sojiro, explained to her that no, she’s not sick and no, she’s not gonna die. They’ll explain to her that she’s in love with you.

Futaba is aware of the LGBTQ+ but she didn’t think it was possible to a girl like her. But she guess it’s the case where you’re disclose to everyone and someone comes in and you’re immediately in love with them. 

“No Futaba. That’s called obsession.”

“... same thing.”

Like the Futaba we all know and love, she doesn’t know what to do. She panics whenever you show up or she thinks about her feelings. 

Then, one day, she decided to just tell you and get it over with. But she decided to do it very uniquely. 

She programmed a website that reveals to you about her feelings. When you open it, it pops out, “I ❤ u. Would u be my girlfriend?” 

You immediately knew what she meant, even though you’re clueless and oblivious. You threw yourself to a anxiously waiting and fidgeting Futaba, who screams as she catches you and both of you falling to the ground.

You two promise that no matter what anyone says, you two will be together forever. She’s your number one after all~

Goro Akechi

What attracted him to you is how you carried yourself, similar to Makoto basically, and your intellectual ability. He’s also attracted to your observant and quiet nature, and how you appear to be aloof at times, you were also listening to others conversation (COUGH so me COUGH). And the fact that you saw him through his mask and lies. 

He befriends you immediately and the two of you hit it off fairly easily. The two of your personality coinciding with each other. 

If he feels himself falling in love with you, he’ll deny it. He doesn’t want you involve any more than this, he already befriended you, he doesn’t need to give you anymore danger. But he couldn’t help the fact that he already has opened his heart to you. 

But he knew you were clueless and oblivious, so he decided to go along with it. Hiding away his feelings. 

He thought he was being sneaky, but the Phantom Thieves caught on his feelings for you. At first, they don’t encourage him, since he’s a traitor still. But they soon accepted it and supported him.

Akechi was still hesitant to follow his heart but Akira encourages him. So he decided to court you in a traditional way. 

He started out slow, similar to Haru’s and Akira’s. Giving you small trinkets, buying your favorite food and taking you places to places. 

He thought you’ll leave him after his reputation was tarnish after Shido admitting his crimes. But you stayed with him, so he decided to confess to you.

You, being clueless, thought he was referring not wanting to be friends with you since he’s wording goes, “I don’t wanna be friends with you anymore.. I can’ take it..-”

You started to tear up and Akechi flinch when he sees tears in your eyes. Wha-?

“You don’t want to be friends with me, Akechi-kun?” You sniffed and Akechi now realized his mistake.

“N-NO! I MEAN--!”

You bursted out crying, which attracted attention to the both of you. “Akechi-kun doesn’t like me anymore!”

“[Y-Y/N]! C-Calm down! I love you!” Akechi proclaims as he held your crying face between his hands.

You sniff as you stared at him. “.. you do?”

Akechi nodded his head. “Yeah.. and I want to be your boyfriend, [Y/N].”

You decided to just nodded your head, not trusting your voice as Akechi held you in pure ecstatically, completely ignoring the stares you two are getting.

Yuuki Mishima

What attracted him to you is the fact you stood up to him when he was getting bullied, and your determination to stand up against the bullies, even though it got you wounded. He was forever grateful to you though, that’s a plus. He’s also attracted to the fact that you believe in the Phantom Thieves’ justice, just like him.

He already knew he was in love with you since a long time ago. (fun fact: you two are childhood friends). He’ll always worry about you if you get beaten up by bullies,

The fact that you were clueless and oblivious is what Mishima GREATLY dislikes about you. It’s already embarrassing that you’re the one sticking up for him, but the fact that HE has to make the first move. 

Mishima might need encouragement before actually doing something, that someone would be Akira ofc. After him encouraging the bby fanboy, Mishima would be walking up to you but his confidence would slowly go down and would ultimately back out at the last second. (Akira and Morgana sighing in the background).

I would think Mishima would confess on you by accident rlly. While doing the project, he’ll accidentally slip it out.

You (ofc) thought he meant being best friends. Mishima decided to let you believe he meant that. 

Akira would sigh in frustration and just resort in talking to you directly. 

He would explain that Mishima loves you, and not as a friend, as a girlfriend and he’ll also add that Mishima is a chicken.

I was wondering if you had any general Ted headcannons. I'm not looking for anything specific, just more Ted stuff.

Sure! :D I have a few Ted headcanons! Let's get this bread!

- I hc that Ted's mom was a lovely and rather timid female, with a firmer military man husband. Ted's mom was naturally one of Julien and Maurice's care takers, so Ted sometimes got to see them and hang out with them when they were little.

-Despite his fathers disapproval, Ted's mom encouraged him in all his drama classes and theater performances. His father didn't see that as fitting for the son of a military man, but he was away from home too often to take much of a role in Ted's rather soft and gentle upbringing. He still craved his father's approval however, and after his father dies when he's still quite young Ted would later end up pursuing a military career himself, as if he might still be able to take some of that approval he never got by pursuing a career his father would have wanted for him. At the same time, he still acts, because that's really where his heart lies.

- He was always the most well liked boy in lemur school. Handsome and friendly, the ladies fawned over him, and most of the lads liked him well enough. He was the sort to eagerly help them with homework, and frequently brought treats to class.

-He always admired Julien, and often assisted him with homework and the like. It was by his insistence that everyone let Julien win at everything. Everyone likes Ted, so they listened to him. Whether it was out of admiration for Julien, or simply trying to amicable with the spoilt prince, I'm not sure. Probably a mix of both.

-In spite of Ted's efforts, his peers still voted him as prom king over Julien, regardless of what he told them to do. This was still painful for him however, because he knew he had to give it up to Julien no matter how much it hurt him.

-His main subjects were English, drama, art, and home ec (baking and the like). He also did biology and math, but he wasn't super great at those subjects.

- His best friend is Dorothy, and she took a lot of the same classes as him. Otherwise he would hang out with anyone really. He was on good terms with Willie, Horst and Pancho, and he often tried to hang out with and get closer to Julien and Maurice. He had a lot more success than Karl, though Julien would use his friendship to get his homework done, run errands for him, or otherwise dress him up/listen to his stories with little reciprocation on his part. Julien doesn't remember much of that up until the Prom episode, but after that he's sorry he took him for granted.

- Some of Ted's favorite colours are shades of cyan and magenta, two colors that look spectacular with sparkles. (Maybe that's why he liked the way Crimson looks? And why Horst painted him and Julien in cyan and magenta swimwear)

- Ted loves to wear women's clothing. He and Julien steal a bunch of goodies from one of the local resort gift shops, and Ted looks very fetching in a pink flower pattern sirong and white bikini/one piece swimsuit. He also loves sunhats, and they're great for keeping the summer sun at bay at their many beach parties.

- Ted is one of the kingdom's best dancers besides Julien, along with Willie. He knows many different types of dance styles, and he throws all of himself into his routines as a form of expression.

- He and Dorothy are big into crafts and the like. Dorothy makes their own soaps, conditioners and the like, and Ted l o v e s them. He helps her out with choosing ingredients, and they sell them/gift them to people. Thought most lemurs tend to prefer their own natural musk, Julien loves their conditioners to help keep his fur silky.

- With that said, Ted's prefered scent is Madagascar Vanilla.

-Ted's biggest fear is being unloved and alone. He's always been liked by everyone, but he longed for a male mate. But when Julien snubbed him before their prom, and took his crown for good measure, Ted was terrified of forever being alone.

-He then hooks up with Dorothy, his best friend, thinking this is how he'll have his perfect life and marriage, and it will make the pain and loneliness go away. It doesn't, and he keeps trying to fake it till he makes it.

-Ted is a romantic, and longs to have a secret admirer. He was enamored with the idea of Zora's secret lover, and very much wishes a man would write him letters or show his admiration/affection towards him. He loves the idea of being wooed, and would adore any attempts of such no matter how clumsy they may be.

-When pushed far enough, he's an excellent and often ruthless fighter, especially when he needs to protect his friends. Violence can sometimes leave him shaken though, especially if he gets seriously angry.

- After AHKJ, Ted starts working with Pancho as his Captain of the Ringtail Guard. They often play Good Cop/Bad Cop with perps, switching rolls on the fly to psyche out whoever is unfortunate enough to be interrogated by them. Though Pancho has a lot less tolerance for his fear tinkling than Clover did, and sometimes they can be at odds over some of Pancho's more wild/reckless schemes. Fortunately for him, Pancho is open to criticism and input, even as his superior.

-Ted has a rather broad range of music, and we already know he loves euro techno. Maybe he would like this genre of music, but I think about him the most to songs by Autoheart (they're an LGBTQ band too!). "Moscow', 'Anniversary' feel very Ted, and I use them for whatever ship he's in. They're bouncy and great for dancing, especially Anniversary.

"It's not hard, with you I have an alibi, you don't care the reason why I misapply. All I need is a fraction of your happy heart, all I need is you. And beauty's in the eye of the beholder, you have lips that permanently smolder! When in Moscow I just wanna fold you up and keep you warm."

"Now come here baby, come a little closer. You'll write words, and I can be composer. Let's get a dog, an Irish Red Setter, it's all we need to get better! It feels good to not be with a wannabe, I am free whenever you're in front of me. All I need is a fraction of your happy heart, all I need is you."

Edit: Just thought of another one! It seems like Ted is taller than most of the other lemurs when he's standing up straight. What if he makes himself shorter to be less intimidating to other leems, especially males as he wants to be the more submissive one of the two. And his smiling face and friendly demeanor makes him easily non-threatening.

Re watching Danny Phantom - episode 1

Basically, I want to analyse the show with out just going from memory. So I'll watch episode by episode, pointing both things I love and hate, and occasionally, what I would do different.

Episode 2

This one will probably be the longest just because I am recalling stuff that happen later on and for the other episodes I’ll focus more on them.

So let's get to it

“Actually, dad, I wanna be an astronaut.”

Danny’s very first line, the dream he had since the very beginning. And it’s barely shown.

He does get exited about it when it shows up but it doesn’t look like he cares about it much outside of it. for a show with such themed characters it feels like Danny is far more built. 

now it could fit if all the other characters just as built, or at least the main ones, but every character seems to have an image they go by and Danny just stands out.

“Waste these looks and all this charisma hunting ghosts?! Criminal.”

Nothing to say here, I just love that line.

The whole fight behind Jack’s back

I want to make a whole post about Idiot Jack but for now I’ll just say this:  The Idiot tropes are so lovable because usually there's a kind, caring person at the end of them. Jack is shown very little to care about Danny or Jazz and will force them into ghost hunting shenanigans based on the plot’s needs.

Jazz seems to be the only one to notice  that their parents' obsession with ghosts is interfering with their everyday lives.

Other than that, It’s a good over all introduction to the Fenton family and their work.

“You need guidance, and parents who can provide it.”

Jazz's notices that their parents' don’t pay attention to them- especially Danny. Earlier this scene, we see her read a book about adolescence and therapy and immediately she's the one to point out that her parents are ignoring Danny. They’re all together at breakfast and Jack and Maddie work right on the table.

Jazz is the one to notice how anxious Danny is most of the time and probably the only one to notice he's being bullied. (as he said- he's Dash's favorite)

Yes, Jazz thinks she's more grown up than she really is, which means that everyone in Danny’s life treats him like a child and her own obsession with being right can make her forget about the world.

But unlike many characters, she does get this development-  The Fenton Menace and  Secret Weapons are good examples of that.

“Why? Parents don’t listen. Even worse, they don’t understand. WHY CAN’T THEY ACCEPT ME FOR WHO I AM?!”

I’m going to use this to talk about lgbtq+ characters in the show. Or, more accurately the lack thereof.

I talked about it when I did some notes from memory, where I’ve mentioned that characters like Danny and Sam are so fitted to be apart of the lgbtq community that the fact that they’re not isn’t just disappointing but it feels like it’s missing.

Sam prides on being herself but she hides knowing she will always get backlash for things that don’t fit into some 1 dimensional character people expect her to be. And Danny is always afraid of being himself but when he is he feels the most free and happy.

Trans!Danny hcs didn’t just happen for no reason and if the show is ever to be rebooted I expect them to include it in, in any way.

“Your powers make you unique, and unique is good. That’s why I’m an ultra recyclo-vegetarian.”

Ok, big pet peeve of mine in the show.

They treat Sam as if she only does stuff to “be unique”. This could work perfectly if she had a development or reason- but later on all we seem to understand is that she’s just being “I’m not like other girls” and her being vegetarian or goth is nothing but her trying to either stand out or annoy her parents.

Does she actually want to do half the stuff she does? Her Sticking It To The Man attitude is admirable but whenever she talks about it it just kinda look like she would change herself to make sure she’s not ordinary.

Personally I do get it, cause it’s what I used to do, but the whole point of stating it is to show how she’s growing out of feeling like she can’t do stuff- Let her care for a stupid flour sack, let her show that she’s into ghosts and moreover I WANNA KNOW WHY

My headcanon is that that’s how she and Danny became friends in the first place and I would love to see how this gang got together.

“What if Jazz isn’t a ghost? What if we accidentally hurt her?”

Remind me why we don’t listen to Maddie more often?

Oh right, cause then they’d have to actually make the effort and have to think about how to make this show make sense.

“It’s garbage.”

Why does it look like the gang never seem to actually support one another? It doesn’t even look jokey or teasing, sometimes it just looks like they only hang out cause they have no other friends.

ghost sense

I always thought, and still think, that the blue line coming from the ghost sense is cold air turned warm and I made a post joking about Danny is always mouth breathing. And i got a comment that said “ It's probably more like a sudden cold feeling, so Danny gasps cause he's cold.“ I really liked it and I feel like they could’ve captured or explained it in the show better.

“Oh great, I’m still his favorite.”

They made that point a bunch in the show, that Dash is almost like Danny’s privet bully.

Why?

Dash bullies anyone, but Mikey and Danny seem to be a reoccurring deal (Mikey probably because he’s always doing their homework.) and they never explain it.

It just looks like main character syndrome.

“YOU CHANGED THE MENU?!”

I love how they portray more humanoid ghosts as more possible to act human and how much more scary it makes them when they suddenly break this humanity.

Lunch lady

She seems to be able to control much more than just food products (plates, books and papers, cutting the lights) and they never really explain how some ghosts can do this or that, and which powers are or aren’t universal.

(Non related but her face is adorable! Nice old evil grandma)

“repeated loitering by the girl’s locker-room.”

They really didn’t have to make Tucker a creep.

“[He threw] Four touchdown passes in the last game is thereby exempt from scorn.”

Uhh is this an american thing?? Are jocks really that much of a teacher’s pets that who ever played high school sports is able gets away with murder?

Danny’s powers’ look

They seem to always animate and portray the powers differently each time-

Sometimes when he’s intangible he’s blue, sometimes transparent, sometimes the lines change colors sometimes not.

Many animation errors seem to be about inconsistency.

“Guys, time to makeup. Now!”

He just transforms?? Right there?!

The Spike scene

Ok, we learn a lot here.

first of, why didn’t we see more of Spike in the show?! it could’ve been amazing to see Jazz with actual friends.

And if he isn’t her friend, Jazz gives advice to people? Why didn’t we see more on that? How both she and Danny want to help people and how this is her way of doing it cause she has no powers. How could’ve been her build up to becoming a hero alongside Danny!

And second, is when her parents attack her. This shows how little they listen to her, why she always feels like the only responsible person in the family and how she probably is.

I’ll probably get on that more in My Brother’s Keeper.

Danny fighting the little meat creatures is my favorite fight scene in the episode

“The Fenton Thermos! But how am I going to get it to work?“

How did he get it to work?? They never really explained it, he just kinda turned blue and it did.

The Amount Of Sound Effects...

Personal preference but I don’t like how much they change the colors of the sky and background only when a ghost is near and then it turns back- It’s distracting.

I usually expect side jokes to not affect the plot but here they kinda mix it and I can’t know what’s a side joke and what is more meaningful 

Y’know... I never did notice how many jokes Danny makes. But now...

Danny looks so happy when ever he manages to do some ghost trick, it’s adorable

The Fentons have 5 brain cells and Jazz holds 3 of them. (Danny and Maddie split when they need it)

The camera angles are very fun and look like they could fit perfectly as a comic

The voice acting is super good

When the other kids were busy talking about crushes and who they were dating, Katsuki was focused on becoming a hero.

He had no time for romance, especially that sappy type he always sees on tv.

No, Katsuki was gonna become the greatest hero, and he would do that alone.

He never thought much of it. It didn’t seem unusual to him that he never had an interest in anyone else, that he couldn’t join in on conversations where the topic was romantic love or sexual attraction.

In fact, he felt smug when all the other extras were held down by girlfriends and boyfriends and datemates while he was forging on ahead. Seeing the confusion and awe on their faces when he told them that he had never been attracted to anyone was enough to erase the slight embarrassment he felt at not being able to relate to them.

Katsuki was invincible, unaffected by the curse that is romantic and sexual attraction, and he needs to let everybody know it.

(A few years later, at the tender age of 13, Katsuki finds he isn’t a superior being, he’s just aroace...

Well... okay then.)

He is aroace and still unaffected by the curse that is romantic and sexual attraction!

He didn’t really have friends to share his epiphany with, and the extras that followed him around were too dense to know what he was talking about to care. Besides, they’d probably just hear that he wasn’t attracted to girls and throw a fit.

Anyway, it’s not like he really wants to share this. No, this information is for Katsuki and Katsuki only.

But when he gets into UA, starts building a, admittedly reluctant at first, relationship with his classmates, the desire to tell them something he’s kept locked away grows.

It all comes to a head one night at the dorms. It’s a rare night of him hanging out in the common room with most of his other classmates.

Katsuki doesn’t know how the conversation steers this way, but the topic is now crushes. Some people are coming out, some people are just observing. Katsuki is becoming bored, and just as he gets up to leave, he’s noticed and asked, “Who do you have a crush on?”

He’s tempted to ignore the question, but surrounded by this open group of people that showed their support whenever someone revealed themself to be gay or bisexual or pan, he has the urge to let them know this part of him as well.

So he replies. “I don’t have one.”

“So who did you have a crush on?”

“Never had one either, Earjacks.”

Everyone becomes interested now.

Jirou looks skeptical, “It’s not weak to have a crush, yknow. If you don’t wanna tell us, fine, but to lie—”

“I ain’t lying, I’m aroace.”

There’s silent confusion, and Katsuki’s heartbeat thunders in his chest.

Someone asks what that is and, huffing, Katsuki tells them, “It means I don’t experience romantic, aro, or sexual, ace, attraction.”

They ignore his muttered “dumbasses” in favor of questioning him with a “You don’t, or you haven’t?”

“I just said I don’t. What are you on about?”

Kaminari then decides to speak up. “Dude, just give it time! You don’t know who you’re gonna meet that’ll knock you right off those stubborn feet of yours.” And he punctuates it with a wink.

Katsuki is getting annoyed.

“Okay, whatever. If that happens, that happens, but right now, it hasn’t. Therefore, I’m choosing the label aroace.”

Momo, with a finger on her chin and a contemplative expression on her face decides to voice, “But aren’t you acting a little hasty, Bakugou-kun? You shouldn’t use such a definitive label when you’re so young.”

Some people are voicing their agreement, and Katsuki feels like screaming, but he’s too busy being frozen in shock, looking at Momo with with the most incredulous look he could muster.

“What the actual fuck? How is me calling myself aroace any more ‘definitive’ than y’all calling yourself gay?” He can’t help the crack in his voice as he continues, “I’m genuinely confused.”

Before they could reply, Katsuki asks his own question with the most deadpan look he could offer:

“Do you ever wanna date a cat?”

There are exclamations of “No” and looks of bewilderment, but Katsuki continues, crossing his arms.

“Well I don’t think you should act so certain. I mean, maybe you haven’t met the right cat, yet.”

They’re telling him that that’s different, shouldn’t be used as an argument.

But then Kirishima perks up, and Katsuki feels dread consume him.

“Love, or don’t love I guess, who you... don’t... love, bro!”

And Katsuki feels hope bloom in his chest.

Only to have it crushed with his best friend’s next words.

“But we’re just trying to help you! We don’t want you to feel like you’re moving too fa—“

“Not only did I not ask for any help, but how is any of this helping me?!” Katsuki throws his arms in the air. “I came out to you guys, something we’ve been doing all evening, and you have the audacity to tell me I’m wrong?!”

He’s pacing now.

“Why the hell are you acting like I’m signing a death wish with my identity! You guys are the biggest fucking hypocrites, holy hell.”

Katsuki shakes his head and storms off, unwilling to be in that toxic situation any longer.

The next few days are met with guilt-ridden eyes from his classmates and the cold shoulder from him.

They don’t try to approach him, and for that, Katsuki is grateful, because he doesn’t know what he’d do if the people that rejected who he is tried to act like they did nothing wrong.

Yeah, maybe they weren’t being malicious, maybe it was just ignorance, but Katsuki is by no means obligated to forgive nor teach them. Until they pull their heads out of their asses and realize there’s a plus after LGBTQ for a reason, he’s perfectly fine with the distance.

OKAY SO TWO ENDINGS

1) The class that was there does their research and apologizes and are forgiven and whatnot (happy ending)

2) The class doesn’t do their research and just assumes that Katsuki doesn’t want to have sex or kiss anyone. They apologize, but the relationship is still tense with their ignorant comments and jokes. Katsuki is still hurt, especially when they start dating each other or other students, and he’s left to be the only one that values a strong friendship over romance. He feels left behind. (Angsty ending)

OR WAIT!!! ANOTHER ENDING!!!

3) The class doesn’t apologize or do their research, because they think Katsuki was making a big deal out of nothing. After those few weeks of the silent treatment, they try to approach him and act like everything is great.

Katsuki is angry and hurt, but eventually he finds comfort and very close friendships with Todoroki, Tokoyami, Shinsou, and Shoji. Not all of them are aroace, but they’re on the spectrum for one or both (bittersweet ending)

IM DONE!!! This honestly didn’t go the way I was thinking it would go, but I ain’t upset so it’s all good.

So ofc I projected with the being annoyed when people act like my sexuality isn’t a real thing (which is lots of ppl online and the classmates I told when they asked)

Also, that part about telling people that you’ve never had a crush and being smug when they’re like :0? Yeah, I used to do that until I was 13 when my older sib was like “yeah, you’re aroace” and I was like :0 “i saw that term in one fanfiction years back but i genuinely didn’t think abt it when i looked up to see what ‘ace’ meant but it fits perfectly”

So anyway, my sib also told me that what I was is Agender (which I knew abt but thought “that’s not me,,, right?” wrong) and I realized when they asked me if they could tell their friend my gender identity. I was confused like sure?? and then they said i was agender and their friend asked for my pronouns and i said i didn’t care

like,, i thought i was nb, but i wasn’t sure exactly what “type”(?) idk, but after that, i looked at the definition for agender that i didn’t understand before and was like :0 yep that’s me

Overall, lovely movie, very fun! I do feel bad about those who watched it like 3 years ago bc Steve died but I've seen him cast in the second movie??? Idk what's that's about but if so, that's one hell of a cliffhanger. I will say tho, I cannot think too long about this movie or less I will lose my mind, and I can't tell if that's in a good or bad way.

Haikyuu! Karasuno Sexuality Headcanons!

I wanna start posting thing like HC’s! so im going to! and here’s the first one! it’s not the best but, i like it! for right now i’m only ding Karasuno but if you send me a Character from another school in my asks, i’ll definitely come up with their Hc! this post will be kinda long so here’s a cut for yall who just wanna scroll past!

Daichi Sawamura: He’s bi. I don’t know if he has a preference (he probably does, i just don’t know what it is) but he’s definitely bi. He’s also just the best boyfriend EVER. Koshi Sugawara: Honestly, He’s just gay. He doesn’t talk about it a lot but he’s gay. You might find him trying not to be flustered when Daichi takes his shirt off, or just gushing over his boyfriend, but other than that he’s really not too outspoken about it.he just likes to be gay in peace. Asahi Azumane: He honestly doesn’t really know his label. He THOUGHT he was straight just about until he came to Karasuno (more specifically until he met Noya) and then had a gay panic. He still doesn’t really know his label. So he just says he’s Queer. And we support that. Yuu Nishinoya: 100% Bisexual. And he doesn’t have a preference. Girls? Chill. Boys? Chill. Just someone cuddle him. On the outside he’s definitely a fuckin perv, but with his S/O he’s just very soft, he never crosses boundaries and he’s just really sweet. He’s respectful <3. Ryuuosuke Tanaka: Ok so like, Straight. Maybe a little bi-curious. He’s kinda interested in like 1 or two guys but he’s like, mostly straight. He’s the Straight Friend™ if he gets a boyfriend he’s still kinda labeled as the straight friend™ bc he mostly prefers girls. Sometimes they make jokes that he’s the “straight friend with homosexual tendencies” and he loves it. Chikara Ennoshita: honestly these next three i don’t have much to go on, bc i like to go off both canon and fanon, so IM TRYING HERE. but i feel like Ennoshita just kinda gives of Pan Vibes. Like he just loves you for you. <3 Hisashi Kinoshita: I think he’s also Pan, he’s not too outspoken about it and probably has some internalized homophobia, but like he’s trying. He just wants some love. Kazuhito Narita: asdfgh I just think the three of them are just, Pan, they’re the Pan Squad. He’s probably the one who makes all the kitchen pan jokes. Tobio Kageyama: In the closet gay. He’s out to a couple of people (probably Suga, Daichi, and Hinata) but like, other than that, he’s in the closet. But he’s also not making an effort to come out or hide his gayness. He has more the energy of “they’ll find out when they find out “ Bc he doesn’t deem it all that important.  Everyone on the team kinda suspects that he’s gay, but noone really asks (Noya has tried to ask, but the others stopped him bc they said it was “none of his business”)

Shoyo Hinata: He’s Pan. he just likes everyone. He;s definitely really oblivious to romantic feelings but once he realizes it, he’s all heart eyes and he’s trying super hard to be a good boyfriend. 

Kei Tsukishima: That is a gay man right there. He’s a lot like Kageyama. In the sense of he doesn’t really deem it important, and doesn’t really talk about his sexuality. But he’s very well read on sexualities and LGBTQ History, and if anyone on the team is questioning their sexuality he can just kinda tell and he (usually reluctantly) tries to help them figure things out. He also has a bunch of pride stuff in his room bc when he came out to his family thy were SO supportive and got him like, all the pride merch. He’s also one of the only ones on the team to have gone to an actual pride event. Tadashi Yamaguchi: He’s Pan!!! Tho he has a preference for boys he really doesn’t care as long as you treat him kindly. Tsuki has given him a bunch of his pride stuff, and in turn Yamaguchi has dragged Tsukki to every pride event he can. Tsukki complains the whole time but Yama knows he’s secretly having a good time. Kiyoko Shimizu: Honestly, the girls are hard. I think Kiyoko is Demisexual. It really seems like she doesn’t have much romantic (or sexual) interest, but once she finds someone she really likes, and has had a friendship with already, she will love them a lot. <3 Hitoka Yachi: Bi Lesbian. 100%  she definitely likes women more, but there are some men that she also really likes! And honestly as long as you treat her right, then she’s happy to be in a relationship with you! She’s also the most like me in which she just has a Gay Panic™ when she sees a pretty girl.

Your piece for Stargazing has Shiro and Keith with their roles reversed: Keith on the Kerberos mission and Shiro as the half-Galra Garrison washout.  Without giving away too much beyond what has been shared in previews already, can you give us some insight into the inspiration behind this AU, and how you picture it changing up the events and interactions of canon?

Role-reversal AUs are a favorite trope of mine. All AUs offer the opportunity to explore pieces of the characters that might not come out as easily in more canon-adjacent fics. What I love about role-swap AUs, though, is the creative challenge of exploring how the “cores” of the different characters can both change and not when they’re literally placed into another canon character’s shoes. As for how the swap in “The Oncoming Storm” changes things, the Galra reveal would also go very differently, because Champion!Keith would fight Allura harder in defense of Shiro than canon!Keith does in defense of himself. But most of the changes that I see coming in this AU are subtler at first, and end up having some cumulatively huge effects. For instance, I think Shiro would still be the Black Paladin at first, while Keith would still be in Red. But that changes the eventual build-up to the Galra reveal: Shiro can’t fight Zarkon head-on and hear the, “You fight like a Galra” line, as canon!Keith did; he would have been ejected by the Black Lion. That line is easy enough to transfer onto Sendak during their fight in “The Fall of the Castle of Lions,” because it’s something that he’d say (and with Sendak, he’d probably mean it as a compliment). But the significance of that fight changes if Shiro is running into a fight with someone who has such a huge advantage because Sendak hurt Keith, Shiro’s beloved. This changes Shiro’s astral plane confrontation with Zarkon, and it all adds up to a very different Galra reveal. The worst part of it for Shiro, though, would be feeling responsible for Keith’s trauma. He blames himself for “pushing” Keith onto the Kerberos mission, but for him to be a member of the species that harmed Keith? In canon, Shiro doesn’t blame Keith and loves him fiercely. But sadly, Shiro wouldn’t show himself that same understanding. So, yeah. A mix of obviously big changes, and little ones that add up to big ones.

I was going to ask you about your favorite minor character in Voltron, but given the contents of this fic, it's not exactly hard to guess!  Tell us a little bit about why you chose Iverson as a major character in this fic, and how you went about developing his character.

A: In fairness, I love a lot of the minor characters! That said, I do have an Iverson bias, and I feel like he gets a raw deal. He can be abrasive. His first scene is him chewing the Garrison Trio out. While doing so, he says things about Keith and Shiro that can sound pretty negative. This makes it easy to write Iverson off as a jerk, even a villain. That reading of him doesn’t hold up for me, though. There are several reasons why not, but his relationship with and treatment of Shiro are the most telling, for me. He doesn’t blame Shiro while talking about the Kerberos mission. Iverson doesn’t mention Shiro at all, which is strange when he’s so direct about everything else. Then, when Shiro crashes, Iverson is present in the med-tent for unexplained reasons (which could be personal). When speaking to him, Iverson uses the name, “Shiro.” This isn’t a super-intimate nickname (Lance uses it despite not knowing Shiro personally before Team Voltron). But if Iverson were sticking to protocol, he’d call Shiro, “Lt. Shirogane” (or similar). Before anything else, Iverson tries to reassure Shiro that he’s safe. He only makes the call to put Shiro under because they don’t know what his prosthetic arm can do or not (which is a fair concern). The way Iverson talks about this sounds regretful, too. He doesn’t like drugging Shiro, but his options are limited. That’s how I see Iverson in general. He’s in some difficult places, facing dangerous and high-stakes situations. He isn’t a monster; he’s just a man who’s trying his best with very limited choices and seemingly insurmountable odds. Which is how I tried to portray him in this AU, too, Also, I have a Shiro bias, and canon!Shiro doesn’t have very many non-Keith personal connections before Team Voltron. The way Iverson treats him makes me think Iverson might have been one of them. And I liked exploring that possibility in this fic.

After reading that, definitely consider me a convert.  It's always fascinating to see different trends and countertrends in fandom.  Related to that, you've mentioned that you've been indulging in fandom between frantic work on your thesis, which is… also about fandom?  What's the premise there, and and how are you bringing your own experiences as a fan into your academic work?

A: My MA thesis is about fandom, yes! It’s been through a few different versions before ending up where it is. First, it was going to be a more traditional academic paper, focused about how fans write about LGBTQ experiences and issues in fics/headcanons, and focused on trans and/or non-binary representation in particular. (I worked on this version in 2013-14, so there were even fewer trans fics/hc’s than there are now. Also, the main fandoms in it were Supernatural and Teen Wolf, not VLD.) But my school’s program in women’s/gender studies has three options for the final project: the thesis; the practicum (basically, an internship where you write a paper at the end); and the creative project (which still has a research component, but isn’t). In a required class, our prof had us list ideas for how we could pursue our interests in all three of these options. The creative project that I came up with was, “I mean, I write fanfiction? I guess I could do that.” I expected my prof to tell me how ridiculous this sounded. Instead, she got excited about that idea, which got me excited. Which got my poor advisor excited (especially because my original fic ideas were for HP, which is her pet fandom). Then, everything got derailed by IRL drama for a while. But now, I’ve written my fic (“But boys spring infernal,” my overgrown monster of mutual pining Sheith) and I’m finishing the paper about it. In general, the project is about the LGBTQ and feminist potential of fanfic, with a focus on hurt/comfort and AUs, which are sadly under-researched. Aside from canon-divergence fics, AUs especially get a raw deal. Most fan studies scholars write them off as original fic with fandom characters pasted on. That bugs me both as a fan who loves AUs, and as someone who sees the field of fan studies stagnating because we aren’t adapting as fandom evolves. So, I’m bringing my fannish experiences into my project because they are the project (or a pretty big part of it). In addition to the research that went into this, there’s an autoethnographic element to the paper. I have to write about the process of writing BBSI, as well as the different personal experiences that went into the fic, and it’s been fun but incredibly challenging. On the other hand, I got to cite Legit Sources™ like Michel Foucault while justifying my love of long-haired Shiro. That’s probably my personal peak of questionable academic arguments, and I probably shouldn’t be so proud of it? But I am.

Long-haired Shiro, the Shiro we all deserve.  Also, I am totally jealous that you've gotten to write fanfic for a school project. Final question!  After reading your piece, I think I ascended to another plane of existence.  I absolutely loved it.  So I have to ask for your blessing: may I have your fic's hand in marriage?
