Late Music Monday, songs for characters from The UnTitledverse, The Silver Chronicles and Life, Despair & Monsters. Not in that order though. Partners-In-Law Meme for my V, Judy and River. Songs and template below the cut:
Welp, here I go rambling about the parallels of Silva and Paul once more. Alright so, I think by now we've mostly gotten well-aware that Silva (and Paul) have not had good experiences in regards to religion. Most certainly due to the fact they were both born in a cult that abides by puritanism and fascist beliefs, which, by the time of Paul's birth, also gained a militaristic mindset with the introduction of the Enforcers when Adam took charge as their Prophet. The Congregation of Adam's Guard, on surface level, preaches and demands virtue and righteousness from its followers, to effectively become morally pure under their Prophet's watching eyes, especially if they wanted to see Paradise after the world falls to the Collapse when all seven Frozen Omens melt. To not adhere to or display any other qualities other than their "norm" was punished with extreme force, and by the time Adam came into charge, with death. Which explains why under the surface of the cult's message, is a foundation rooted in colonialism and xenophobia, tied up in a bow of hypocrisy that is used to justify all kinds of depraved and heinous actions the Congregation and their Prophet allows. Silva and Paul are both victims of the Congregations persecutions and discrimination. Both had been under the God-fearing foot of the Congregation, with Paul being amongst the segregated Tumultites and Silva enduring under Adam Omar's terror. Both Silva and Paul eventually reject the Congregation, (a) because the Congregation wants them dead, (b) long-term wise, especially under Adam's tyranny, the Congregation and the society it has built through fearmongering cannot survive the inevitable collapse from the insufficient resources that protects them from the environment and the spark of rebellion due to the less fortunate citizens living under the pressure of becoming "pure" and (c) the Congregation sucks. Silva and Paul instead adopt the Tumultite community's values and beliefs, especially of their first revolutionary leader, Jannah, who Paul especially aspires to be like. Finally, Paul and Silva, once in the modern world, while not believers in the predominant religions (especially in America), do not hold any ill-thought towards such groups; Silva rather admires some of the lessons spoken and wishes she could have the same comfort that their God gives to others, meanwhile Paul is only hostile to people who hide behind God to harm and oppress others... otherwise he's pretty agnostic to the whole thing. One things clear though; their experiences with the Congregation had irreversibly shattered their perceptions of being able to seek any kind of comfort under any deity, especially with the associated pain that haunts them to this day. The song below can fit either one of Silva or Paul or even both.

Eden "Evie" Bloodleech, formerly known as Evie Jackson, was picked up and became an experiment for Sir Enigma Malvolio. Unfortunately, she survived the process and became one of his rare human successes, which was a mindset that was further encouraged by her apparent likeness for her "rebirth" and led him to continue his absurd quest to evolve humans to a level he sees as perfect for them, allowing Evie to officially join the Ruins of the Midnight Rise as both a valuable member and a prized success story. He sent her out in his stead for diplomatic purposes, allowing her to use her abilities to charm potential investors and allies to further his illicit research. Eventually she was sent back to her original universe in my An Invite To Wine And Dine WIP (set in The Invitation) to infiltrate the Alexander Family in order to dethrone Dracula and take the three families he held control under her wing... or rather tendril. And... she's rather a show-off (byproduct of being one of Malvolio's rare favorites I guess):

"There's only two types of people in the world The ones that entertain, and the ones that observe Well, baby, I'm a put-on-a-show kinda girl Don't like the backseat, gotta be first (Oh, oh) I'm like the ringleader, I call the shots (Call the shots) I'm like a firecracker, I make it hot
When I put on a show I feel the adrenaline moving through my veins Spotlight on me and I'm ready to break I'm like a performer, the dance floor is my stage Better be ready, hope that you feel the same
All eyes on me in the center of the ring Just like a circus When I crack that whip, everybody gon' trip Just like a circus Don't stand there watching me, follow me Show me what you can do Everybody let go, we make a dance floor Just like a circus."
And finally, a I'm sure I've used before, but am gonna do it again because "I'm So Sorry" not only slaps, but fits the main antagonist of The UnTitledverse's first saga, Edward Carmine, quite well, if you squint. He's a menace to society and should not be in charge of any leadership roles, even as a CEO. Edward's the type of man to burn all his bridges and blame a child he manipulated for it. Diabolical man that just won't get the hint and stay dead. Extremely petty and arrogant, as antagonists like him should be. By far, amongst one of my favourite antagonist OCs (though that's probably because he's one of the first ones to be developed). Listen below:

"About time for anyone telling you off for all your deeds No sign the roaring thunder stopped in cold to read (No time) I get mine and make no excuses Waste of precious breath (No time) The sun shines on everyone Everyone, love yourself to death
So you gotta fire up, you gotta let go You'll never be loved till you've made your own You gotta face up, you gotta get yours You never know the top till you get too low
A son of a stepfather A son of a, I'm so sorry A son of a stepfather A son of a, I'm so sorry
No lies and no deceiving, man is what he loves I keep tryin' to conceive that death is from above (No time) I get mine and make no excuses Waste of precious breath (No time) The sun shines on everyone Everyone, love yourself to death
So you gotta fire up, you gotta let go You'll never be loved till you've made your own You gotta face up, you gotta get yours You never know the top till you get too low
A son of a stepfather A son of a, I'm so sorry A son of a stepfather A son of a, I'm so sorry
Life isn't always what you think it'd be Turn your head for one second and the tables turn And I know, I know that I did you wrong But will you trust me when I say that I'll make it up to you Somehow? Somehow?"
And lastly, a Partners-In-Law meme for my V (actual name Min-Ji "Vasilisa" Choi), her new partner Judy Álvarez and her amicable ex River Ward. [Note: I'm assuming affection refers to their feelings for their mutual partner. Also I never romanced River and am just taking taking whatever information I can recall or from the internet in regards to his preferences and sexuality and the information I've found (especially the wiki compared to everything else) is quite conflicting so I'm going with Bi-curious]:

╰┈➤ a little glossary:
*Faysawtute! Wiya! - These sky people! Dammit!
** Oel ngati kameie, Olo’eyktan, Tsahik - I see you, Olo’eyktan, Tsahik
***evi - kid(in an affecionate way kinda)
Tumblr media
You weren’t sure how you ended up in that place. The last thing you remember is running away from the sky people who had somehow found your village, the screams of your people started echoing in your brain. You sat up and analyzed your surroundings carefully - the forest around you was vast and mysterious, you have never went into this part of Pandora before. You needed to find your friends, your parents, your ikran, but the only things you could see were trees and bioluminescent plants. A hiss escaped your lips when you stood up, blood was running down your leg and you noticed a big wound it was coming out of, a stab wound. All of this wasn’t unfamiliar, you have fought against the sky people before, but this time they were hungrier for blood than ever, targeting your tribe and searching for you. Your clan had knowledge others didn’t, your people had a special connection to Eywa which presented itself in the fact that your hair was white. You were hiding in the shadows, often migrating and avoiding direct contacts with others, to other tribes yours was just a legend. You almost never engaged, only when it was necessary, and even though you should have gotten rid of the strange enemies from the other planet – your father decided to keep moving and put the fighting behind you. You didn’t blame him, there has been enough bloodshed and there were only 87 of you left, well, now probably less than that.
‘Faysawtute! Wiya!*’ You cursed and pressed on your wound as you walked over to the nearest plant with long leaves.
You tore one of them out of the plant and used it as a bandage, as well as some small vines you found nearby. A faint sound of an animal could be heard in the distance and you were thankful you still had your bow and arrows; your knife however was nowhere in sight. You sat down on the ground, closed your eyes and pressed your palm to the ground, you needed to feel her so that she could lead you to one of the sacred places. A few deep breaths calmed your body down and you opened your eyes rapidly, your ears going down – you felt her. After standing up you started following your gut, you had learned to trust it as much as possible. You tried to stay focused on the energy flowing through your body as well as the one flowing through the forest, but those beautiful plants had caught your eye way too many times for your liking, causing you to lose that focus.  With each step you felt weaker and even more tired, the journey was taking too long, you felt as if you had been walking for eternity. The sun started showing up, soft light reflected in your sleepy eyes and something in the horizon suddenly caught your attention, you stopped in your tracks. A big tree, with white long vines and a strong aura you could see from far away - the source of power. You smiled to yourself and resumed your walk, you couldn’t give up now, she would heal you at last. When you finally reached the tree, you collapsed at the bottom of its trunk. Your hands took one of the vines and connected it to your queue making a tsaheylu. Your pupils dilated as the purest energy of all flowed slowly through your weak body. Next thing you remember was darkness.
꘎♡━━━━━♡꘎
A sound of flapping wings caused you to open your eyes. You quickly disconnected from the tree and ran behind one of the larger roots to hide. As you were putting one of your arrows on the bow you heard the stranger approaching you. You stood up and pointed your weapon at them, but this wasn’t an enemy - it was a young Na’vi boy, probably close to your age. His bow was also ready to fire an arrow at you and you could tell he was confused too, because his eyes were scanning your body in a rapid pace. When you finally locked eyes, you lowered your weapon. However, he was still holding his up, cautious of you and your actions. But you knew better, you knew he wouldn’t hurt you; it was visible in his eyes that he was not a killer.
‘Who are you?’ He finally asked. ‘Are you an avatar?’
You tilted your head, confused about the new word he used, ‘What’s an avatar?’
He lowered his bow and hung it on his body, ‘Come.’
You didn’t move.
‘You’re Omaticaya, right?’ A question left your lips.
He nodded and opened his mouth to say something, but he shut it just as quickly.
‘What’s your name, boy?’
He grimaced at the last word, ‘Neteyam.’
‘(y/n)’ You replied.
For a moment you were standing there in silence, contemplating if you should ask for help. After all, you had nowhere to go to.
‘What are you doing here?’ He asked suddenly and stepped closer, which made you take a step back.
‘I got lost.’ You sighed. ‘The sky people found my village and the last thing I can remember is running away.’ You looked up at the tree. ‘I woke up in the forest and followed Eywa’s energy to find one of the sacred places to heal myself.’
‘Heal?’ He tilted his head in confusion once again.
You nodded, ‘I need your help.’ This time it was you who stepped closer. ‘I have to find my parents.’
He nodded, ‘I’ll take you to my grandmother, she’s Tsahik.’
Your ears perked up as you started following him to his ikran, ‘Who is the Olo’eyktan in your clan? Your grandfather?’
‘No, he died before I was born.’ He got on his ikran and offered you his hand. ‘My father is the leader.’
‘Hm.’ You quietly said and wrapped your arms around his chest gently.
You started wondering if you should tell him that you have that in common – being future clan leaders, that is. You knew the pressure, the responsibilities, the expectations and you could talk to him about that, but you wanted to keep that a secret for just a little longer. You could feel his strong energy, there was a certain feeling of calmness radiating from him and you swore it called to you. You have just met him, but he felt like an old friend, someone you never forget.
The ride was pleasant, you were curiously looking around and admiring the view. You thought he would take you to his home, somewhere in the forest, because after all the Omaticaya were a forest clan. It was surprising to say the least, when you landed inside a huge cave in one of the mountains.
‘I thought you were supposed to be tree people?’ You furrowed your eyebrows as you were looking around the village.
Neteyam helped you get down from the animal and softly laughed, ‘We are, but our home was destroyed.’ He looked down. ‘I never got to see it.’
You rested your hand on his arm and rubbed it softly, ‘I’m sorry, Neteyam. I am sure it was very beautiful.’
He sent you a soft smile which you reciprocated. Your eyes were locked with his, but he broke the eye contact due to something or rather someone coming from behind you. You turned around, a man was slowly approaching you, an elderly woman following after him.
‘That is father and grandmother.’ Neteyam stated from behind you.
‘Oel ngati kameie, Olo’eyktan, Tsahik.**’ You made the proper gesture and felt their tough gaze on you.
They greeted you in the same way and then looked at Neteyam. You knew exactly why they were confused just like he had been. It was because of your hair.
‘I come from the Mangkwan People.’ You announced in order to avoid unnecessary questions.
The Tsahik walked over to you and inspected your whole body, especially one part of it.
‘It’s been a while since I saw one of you.’ She said calmly. ‘Where is the rest of your clan?’
‘I don’t know.’ You sighed. ‘That’s why I’m here, I need to find them and I need help.’
She looked at Neteyam’s father who gave her a firm nod.
‘You can stay with us child.’ She informed you. ‘What are you called?’
‘(y/n) te Magte Leta’ite.’ You whispered your full name and the woman gasped softly, but didn’t say anything.
Neteyam exchanged a look with his father, both uncertain about the Tsahik’s reaction. The Olo’eyktan made a gesture towards his son to come closer and he whispered something into his ear. The young heir nodded and turned his attention to you.
‘Come, I’ll show you around.’
꘎♡━━━━━♡꘎
After a brief walk through the village, which mostly consisted of you trying not to pay attention to the people whispering as you walked by, you arrived at what you figured would be Neteyam’s home.
‘This is where we sleep. There is not a lot of space but I can give you my own area if you want to rest, I’ll just share with my brother.’
‘Oh, no, it’s okay. I can sleep on the floor, I don’t mind it.’ You chuckled. ‘No, but really, you don’t have to give up your space for me, I’ll be good with anything.’
He smiled at you and his eyes followed your movements as you were admiring the inside.
‘Forgive me for staring at you so much before.’ You turned around to face him. ‘I’ve heard legends about your clan and I was surprised that..’
‘I’m real?’ You softly laughed. ‘It’s okay, I know you don’t see people like me every day.’ Your happy expression faded away.
‘What’s wrong?’ He approached you.
You sat down without looking at him and he did the same, ‘There isn’t many of us left.’ You turned your head to look into his eyes. ‘That’s why you don’t see us often. We always run away, hide in the shadows, we don’t engage in anything… I’m sure your grandmother remembers the times when my clan would happily help others when in need, but times have changed. All I know how to do is run away.’
‘You don’t have to do that anymore, I’m sure your clan would be welcome here. To stay with us.’
You lifted one corner of your mouth, ‘Thanks, tree boy.’
‘Who is that, brother?’ Your focus shifted from the boy sitting next to you to the girls standing in the entrance.
‘(y/n).’ You answered before he could open his mouth. ‘May I know your names?’
‘I’m Kiri and this is Tuk.’ She replied and looked down at the smaller girl hiding behind her leg.
‘Come here, I don’t bite.’ You smiled at them.
They carefully came closer and sat in front of you. Their reaction was similar to everybody else, their eyes weren’t looking into yours, but above. You curiously looked Kiri up and down, there was something in this girl you couldn’t quite put into words, a powerful energy illuminated from her body.
‘Dad wanted to talk to you.’ She said to Neteyam.
‘Oh, okay.’ He quickly stood up. ‘I’ll be right back, treat her nicely, she’s our guest.’
He left their home, your gaze followed him as he got lost in the sea of other Omaticaya people. Meanwhile, Tuk was still taking in your strange looks, a confused frown was on her face.
‘You want to touch it?’ You asked her and she nodded eagerly.
She crawled closer to you and started playing with your hair, ‘It looks like it glows! Does it glow in the dark?’
‘Sometimes.’ You replied with a funny expression on your face.
‘Can you show me? Please!’
‘Maybe one day, okay?’ She nodded in reply.
‘Do you need someone to patch you up?’ Kiri asked.
‘Sorry, what?’ You gave her a confused reply to which she gave a nod towards your bandaged thigh. ‘Oh! I forgot about that. It’s okay, it’s fully healed.’
‘How do you know?’
‘Because Eywa healed me.’ You replied while taking off the leaves and vines, Tuk was still playing with your hair.
‘What?’ Her ears perked up and she sat up straighter. ‘What do you mean by that?’
‘When I connect to the source, such as your big sacred tree, I can transfer Eywa’s power into my body to heal myself.’ You explained like it was nothing. ‘See? All good.’ You showed her your thigh which  now only had a small, faint scar in the place you were stabbed.
You looked up to see her puzzled expression and it took everything in you to not laugh.
‘You need to teach me how to do it.’ She finally whispered.
‘I can try, but it’s a difficult craft. It requires patience, meditation, and strength, spiritual strength. My people start training the moment they connect with Eywa for the first time and it takes years to master it.’ You told her. ‘But I feel that you have all that is needed. I’ll teach you when the time comes.’
‘Really?’ She covered her mouth in shock. ‘Thank you!’
‘It’s nothing.’ You smiled and looked over at Tuk. ‘Are you having fun?’
‘Mhm!’ She exclaimed. ‘Can I braid some of it?’
‘Of course.’ Her smile warmed up your heart.
It’s been a while since you sat down and had your hair done by anyone, so why not let the little kid do it? You shifted your gaze to look outside and saw Neteyam talking to a girl. A light clench could be felt in your heart, why was your body doing that?
‘Is that your brother’s mate?’ You asked and gave a nod towards them.
Kiri turned around to see who you were referring to, ‘He hasn’t chosen yet. Mother is expecting him to do that soon but he keeps postponing it, he says he has to be sure.’ She explained and you felt a relief inside. ‘And that is Nelao, mother thinks she would be the perfect Tsahik, but I disagree.’
‘Why?’ Your curiosity won. ‘She looks nice.’
‘She does, but I just don’t feel like she’s the right fit for my brother.’ She murmured. ‘Nelao overheard my mother talking about her being the new Tsahik. Because of that she’s so certain he will chose her that she doesn’t even leave his side.’
‘You would be a better Tsahik, (y/n).’ Tuk peeped in.
You tilted your head and giggled, ‘I would be, indeed.’ You paused. ‘And I will. Perks of being the daughter of the clan leaders.’
‘Your parents are Tsahik and Olo’eyktan?’ Kiri gasped. ‘Why didn’t you say it before?!’
‘I like being secretive.’ You smiled. ‘Revealing too much information at once isn’t a good idea, trust me.’
‘You can be our Tsahik if you want to.’ Tuk added.
‘Tuk! You can’t say things like that!’ Kiri scolded her sister.
‘Why not?’
‘Well, for once, she may already have someone betrothed to her.’ Kiri explained and turned her attention to you. ‘Do you have someone promised to you?’
You shook your head, ‘No.’
You wanted to add more, but you bit your tongue. Your parents have shown you a few young men to marry, but none of them felt right. You had to feel it inside and you couldn’t choose just because they expected that, it was your decision after all. And it’s not like you didn’t try, you hung out with some of them, talked with them, laughed with them, and yet none of them matched your energy in a way you longed for.
‘See? She can be our Tsahik.’ The little girl muttered and Kiri just rolled her eyes.
‘I’m sorry for my sister.’
‘It’s okay.’ You giggled. ‘Don’t be sorry for her, be grateful that she’s here to make your day more interesting.’
She smiled at you, ‘She sure is.’
‘All done! Do you like it?’ Tuk asked and showed you a few braids she had done.
‘They are perfect! Thank you ‘evi.***’ You gave her a quick hug to show your gratitude.
‘Kiri can you show me where you clean yourselves? I think I need to wash away the dirt.’ You turned to the older sister.
‘Oh my, of course! I’m sorry I should have asked you if you needed anything! Can I offer you some new clothes?’
‘If you’d be so kind.’ You smiled.
The three of you got up and you followed them hastily. On your way out you locked eyes with Neteyam who was still talking to Nelao, he shot you a quick smirk which made you look down and break the eye contact.
꘎♡━━━━━♡꘎
After changing and cleaning yourself up you sat down on the edge of the cave. You were taking in the view unfolding in front of your eyes.
‘Where are you mom?’ You whispered and felt someone approach you from behind.
‘We have not had a chance to meet. My name is Neytiri, I am Neteyam’s mother.’ The beautiful woman spoke up.
‘(y/n).’ You smiled and bowed your head to greet her.
‘Can I join you?’ You nodded in approval.
She sat down next to you, ‘Beautiful, isn’t it?’
‘Yes, it’s extraordinary. I love looking at Pandora from above.’ You replied.
‘You have your own ikran?’
‘Yes, but I don’t know where she is. I was hoping to go search for her in the morning with Neteyam if that’s possible?’ You asked and quickly looked down. ‘Or any warrior for that matter, it doesn’t have to be him.’
Neytiri smiled sweetly, ‘I’m sure he would love to help you.’
You shyly raised your head and while looking into her eyes reciprocated the smile. For a moment both of you were sitting there quietly, enjoying the darkness with some glowing plants in the distance. Your ears perked up when you remembered a strange word Neteyam had said to you before.
‘What’s an avatar?’ You asked your companion out of the blue.
She looked at you confused, ‘You don’t know?’
‘No, I am not familiar with that word.’ You answered. ‘Neteyam asked me if I was one and I didn’t know what it meant.’
Neytiri roughly explained to you the concept of the word, she also used the term dream walkers. You also found out that her husband was an avatar before, which surprised you, it’s weird you haven’t noticed his additional fingers.
‘Your husband has a strong spirit, strong heart. I could feel it.’
‘He does.’ She whispered. ‘It’s late, we should head inside.’
You nodded and stood up to follow the woman inside their family home.
꘎♡━━━━━♡꘎
When you woke up there was nobody in the tent with you. While you were stretching a big yawn escaped your lips. There was some water left next to you in a small pot, you picked it up and took a few big sips. You wiped your mouth and stood up to go outside and search for any of the familiar faces. You approached Neteyam who was giving some food to his ikran.
‘Hi.’
‘Hi, did you sleep well?’ He looked at you.
‘Um, yeah, it was a good night.’ You mumbled. ‘Are you going to help me today? With finding my ikran and my people?’
‘Oh! Yes, right, I have this thing here for you.’ He pulled out some sort of device. ‘This goes around your neck and this into your ear. Those are comms we use for communicating. ‘He pointed to the one he was wearing. ‘I’ll show you how they work.’
He installed everything on you and explained step by step to you how to use it. The whole time you tried to stay composed and steady, but his fingers brushing your skin were not helping. After that you both got on his ikran, the first place you wanted to check was the one you woke up at and that’s where you navigated him. You were using your memory and it was hard doing it from above since you were inside the forest while looking for a way out. Neteyam was patient with you, he landed a few times in the wrong places because you thought each could be the right one, thankfully one of them was. You got off the ikran and immediately noticed your blood on the grass. It was faint but because of daylight you could see the trail you were running through that night. You followed the blood with Neteyam by your side.
‘Mom! Dad!’ You shouted into the forest but received no response.
Suddenly a faint ikran roar erupted through the trees. Your ears perked up and you quickly ran towards the sound while making noises to lure in the animal.
‘Wait for me!’ You heard the man shout behind you, but you didn’t stop.
Soon you noticed something blue moving between two trees and you slowly approached it.
‘Ra’ia.’ You whispered and came closer to your ikran.
You noticed she was covered with a net and that was the thing disallowing her to move. You spotted your knife next to her and grabbed it to free the animal. Now everything made sense, they must’ve shot that net at you which caused both of you to fall down, you somehow freed yourself and dropped your knife while running away.
‘I’m sorry I left you Ra’ia.’ You whispered while you were hugging her neck and stroking her skin with one of your hands. ‘Thank you Great Mother for keeping her safe.’
‘Is that your ikran?’ You heard Neteyam’s voice.
‘Yes.’ You nodded. ‘Her name is Ra’ia.’
‘It’s suits her.’
‘Thanks.’ You chuckled. ‘We should check my village now.’
He gave you a nod and started calling for his own animal.
꘎♡━━━━━♡꘎
The place was a mess. Your started to feel heavy when you noticed limp bodies of your people laying on the ground. You took a deep breath and wiped away the tears already falling down from your eyes. With each person you examined you felt your heart break even more. However it broke down completely when you noticed your father’s  broken bow, his hand wrapped around the weapon. You swallowed a big lump and took cautious steps towards him.
This can’t be real. He’s okay, he has to be okay.
‘Dad?’ You whispered when you finally reached his side you moved his body, he didn’t move. ‘Dad, come on.’ You cried. ‘Wake up! You can’t do this to me!’ You shouted and started shaking his body.
A pair of arms wrapped around you and started pulling you away.
‘No!’ You shouted. ‘NO!’
Neteyam embraced you in a hug which you were trying to break out of, ‘Let me go! He’s okay! We have to get him help!’
‘I’m sorry, (y/n).’He whispered and held you tighter. ‘There is nothing we can do for him, we need to go.’
You were crying your eyes out, your screams were stopping in your throat along with the tears you were choking on. You don’t know how long Neteyam was trying to calm you down, it could’ve been 20 minutes or 3 hours, you had no idea. His palm was stroking your hair and his chest was wet from your tears, but it was working, he finally managed to help you steady your breath and stop crying.
‘Can you help me bury him?’ You looked up at him with glossy eyes. ‘Please, Neteyam.’
‘Of course.’ He replied and kissed the top of your head gently.
There was a sacred place, a small tree close to your village where you would bury the dead. Neteyam helped you carry your father’s body there, you whispered a quick prayer to him and to Eywa. You connected your queue to the sacred tree and experienced a vision. Instead of seeing your father you saw your mother in some kind of metal home, perhaps a capsule? It was strange and covered in various plants. You gasped and collapsed right into Neteyam’s arms. You looked at him and explained where you think your mother may be.
He widened his eyes, ‘I think I know where that is.’
꘎♡━━━━━♡꘎
‘Mom?’ You called out. ‘Mom are you there!?’
You moved closer to the entrance of the shack and looked through the broken window. Your mother was nowhere in sight.
‘She’s not inside, do you know if there is anywhere she could-‘
‘(y/n)?’ You heard your mother’s voice coming from the bushes.
You moved closer to the sound, ‘Mom? Yes, yes mom, it’s me.’
Her fragile silhouette emerged from the plants and she instantly collapsed into your arms, crying.
‘Your father..‘ She cried. ‘He..’
‘I know, ma, I know…’ You started caressing her tangled hair. ‘It’s going to be okay, ma.’
‘You need to find someone to lead the clan, you need to find a mate, daughter. We have to find the others as soon as we can, it is the only way.’ She explained and looked up to rest her sad eyes on Neteyam. ‘Who’s that?’
‘That’s my friend. We’re going to take you to a safe place.’ You explained. ‘The Omaticaya will take care of you, of us.’
‘No, no, we can’t. They are going to be hunting us. They know what we can do and they don’t like it.’ She stammered.
‘They are hunting my people too.’ Neteyam finally spoke up. ‘I can’t guarantee you will be safe in our hideout, but going there is the best thing I can offer you right now.’
‘We have to go, ma.’ You helped her stand up. ‘It’s okay, come on.’
The flight to the Omaticaya camp was peaceful, with no surprises from the enemy, but you felt your mother’s broken energy the whole time and it was draining you. You felt her pain, it was mixing with yours and creating a dreadful combination. There was also her unwillingness to go with you so she complained for most of the ride. When you finally arrived you were greeted by Mo’at, who immediately recognised your mother. She took her away from everyone and they both disappeared in her tent. You sighed and turned around to face Neteyam.
‘Thank you.’ You said. ‘For helping me. With finding my mother, Ra’ia and my..’ You paused, tears were starting to form in your eyes.
‘Hey, hey, you don’t have to thank me for this.’ He took your hand into his, caressing your knuckles softly with his fingers. ‘I’ll help you anytime you need me.’
You smiled up at him, ‘Do you-‘
‘Neteyam!’ A voice called out which made him drop your hand. ‘Is that this new friend of yours everyone is talking about? My name is Nelao.’
She grabbed Neteyam’s arm and hugged it to her body. The sight made your heart feel like a needle was going straight through it. You told her your name and complemented her own.
‘Thank you. Yours is quite unique as well.’ She looked up at Neteyam. ‘Shall we go? You must be hungry!’ She turned to you. ‘You’re welcome to join us, of course.’
You shook your head, ‘Maybe later, but thank you for invitation.’
You started walking away and looked at the man one more time, to your surprise you locked eyes with him once again. Then Nelao pulled him away as they headed to feast with the others. You approached Mo’at’s tent in hopes to find out how your mother was doing.
‘We have to find the rest. My daughter needs a mate, we need a new leader, Mo’at. I cannot believe all of this is happening.’ You heard your mother’s broken voice through the thin tent material. ‘I lost him, it hurts so much.’
‘I know what it feels like. I lost my husband because of these demons too. Your clan is welcome to stay with us when they are found.’ Mo’at spoke up. ‘Accept our help, Leta.’
‘It’s not nice to eavesdrop, you know?’ Neteyam’s voice startled you.
‘And why are you not participating in the feast?’ You tilted your head to the side.
‘I just..’ He paused. ‘Can we talk?’
You nodded, ‘Why didn’t you tell me you are the next Tsahik?’
‘What?’ You asked confused. ‘How-‘
‘I overheard your mother saying it to you before, she wasn’t particularly quiet so it’s not my fault.’
‘Right.’ You gave him a nod and smirked. ‘Do you want to go for a ride?’
‘If I do, will you answer my question?’ He tilted his head.
You shrugged, ‘Come and find out.’
You giggled and started running away to get on your ikran. Neteyam shook his head and followed your steps.
‘Where are we even going?’
‘You’ll see.’ You replied and took off, the man right behind you.
Throughout the flight you were constantly messing with him, whether that would be shoving him from the side or disappearing behind a mountain to scare him. He was pretending to be mad, but you knew he liked it. When you saw your destination you increased your speed. He tried chasing you trying to outrun your ikran, but to no avail.
‘It’s even more beautiful at night.’ You whispered when you landed.
‘It is.’ He replied, but he wasn’t looking at The Spirit Tree.
He was looking at something else or rather someone.
‘Come on, let’s go sit under it.’ You grabbed his hand and ran towards the tree.
For a moment you were just enjoying each other’s presence and looking around at the bioluminescent grass, leaves and vines. Well, you were the one looking around when his gaze was mostly lingering on your form.
‘So?’ He broke the silence which made you sigh.
‘I didn’t want to be defined by that. You out of all people should know the burden this role carries.’ You paused. ‘All the responsibilities, risks, duties… I just… I sometimes wish I wasn’t next in line.’ You looked at your hands. ‘Especially now when my mother urges me to find a mate immediately. Someone to step in for… You know.’
He nodded, ‘Yeah, I know what all of that feels like.’
‘But I can’t just take anyone and I think she doesn’t understand it. I have to feel it inside, it has to feel-‘
‘Right.’ He interrupted you.
‘Exactly!’ You exclaimed. ‘At least you already have someone to mate with.’ You whispered.
‘Huh?’ He raised his eyebrows. ‘Are you talking about Nelao?’
You nodded, ‘She seems really nice. You should be grateful your mom chose someone like that for you.’
‘She is nice, but at the end of the day it is not my mother’s decision.’ He responded. ‘It is mine.’
He raised his palm and rested it on your cheek.
‘And I don’t want Nelao.’
You felt heat going up to your cheeks and his face was slowly getting closer to yours. The kiss was slow and passionate, but most importantly – it felt right.
You were the first to break the kiss, ‘Are you sure about this?’
‘Are you?’ He asked.
You nodded your head eagerly, ‘You know, from the moment I saw you, your energy has called out to me.’
‘My energy?’ He chuckled.
You softly punched his arm, ‘Do not laugh at me! Last time I checked, I was the one seeing and feeling what you don’t.’
‘Oh, and that makes me worse than you?’ He tilted his head playfully.
‘Yes.’ You giggled and connected your lips with his eagerly.
After a while both of you pulled out your queues and observed how they connected with each other. The feeling was almost euphoric, something you have never felt before. You felt Neteyam’s energy, you saw it so vividly in your mind, all of his good and bad sides, everything about him was in front of you like an open book. All of it melted into your own body, your own energy mixed with his as you became one. There was no denying that all of this felt right.
꘎♡━━━━━♡꘎
You woke up in the morning only because someone towered over you and their presence was enough to awaken you. You slowly opened your eyes and you felt Neteyam’s arm on your stomach, your back pressed to his chest. When your vision cleared up you looked up and saw your mother’s angry face.
‘Did you mate with this boy!?’ She screamed, which made Neteyam and you quickly sit up.
Jake was standing behind her and guided her to take a step back. Neytiri was also present, but she was behind the two, a small smirk spread out on her face.
‘Answer me, daughter.’
You stood up, your fingers intertwined with Neteyam’s, ‘Yes, mother.’
She scoffed, ‘You were supposed to find someone from our clan!’
‘It is my fault.’ Neteyam spoke up. ‘I was the one to-‘
‘No, it isn’t.’ You shook your head.’ It was all because of Eywa. We met before her and we mated before her.’ You told your mother. ‘From the moment I saw him I knew we were meant to be together, his energy called me, it lured me in and I could not resist. The feeling was stronger than anything else.’
Your mother shook her head, but deep down she knew exactly what you were talking about. She had felt the same thing when she first laid her eyes on your father. She looked up at Jake who just shrugged his arms.
‘There is nothing we can do about it.’ He told her. ‘It is done.’
‘There is nothing wrong with uniting our clans.’ Neytiri spoke up. ‘I must say, I think it’s necessary. Especially in those dark times.’
You smiled at her and she reciprocated the gesture. You turned to your mother with pleading eyes.
‘Please, ma.’
She was looking between the two of you quickly and her gaze finally rested on your mate.
‘Fine.’ She closed her eyes and sighed. ‘At least it’s done now. All we have to do is find the rest of the clan, but I must say, the boy I chose for you will not be very pleased about this.’
‘Ma!’ You scolded her.
‘The boy she chose for you?’ Neteyam asked.
‘She chose like 5 boys for me.’ You chuckled. ‘But they don’t matter anymore, do they?’
‘I guess they don’t.’ He smiled at you.
‘We should head back to the camp.’ Jake said. ‘And please, don’t sneak out in the night, I don’t want your siblings to follow your footsteps.’
‘Yes sir.’ Netayam nodded.
Everyone turned around and started walking towards their ikrans, you and Neteyam following after them.
‘I knew this would happen.’ You heard Neytiri whisper to her husband.
‘Who didn’t?’ He quietly replied.
You chuckled and turned your head to Neteyam. You gave him a quick peck on the cheek.
‘Want to race to the camp?’ You asked and started running to your animal before the man had a chance to process your question.
He shook his head and ran after you. He would always run after you.

Always - @rosekillermicrofic - words: 873
TW: Character death, mentions of blood.
It was a dark night, Barty and Evan sat on the damp green grass on the edge of the forbidden forest. Above them was a tall tree, with flowers of varying colours flowing through the vines and lighting up the area.
Fireflies flew around the two boys and moonlight hit Evan in a way that made him look like he was glowing, Barty was sure he actually did glow.
This was all he ever wanted, Barty thought, this moment right now. He could live it forever, play it on repeat in his head. Always thinking of his Evan.
When he held Evan’s hand, he clutched onto it like he was going to run away. When he kissed Evan, he always made sure to leave a mark, because that was Barty’s Evan, no one else’s.
Evan lay his head to rest in Barty’s lap, his blonde hair splaying out and his long dark eyelashes fluttering shut over his ghostly blue eyes. He hummed as Barty ran a pale ring adorned hand through his hair, kissing Barty’s wrist with a small smile tugging on his lips.
“I’ll always love you Evie, you know that right?” Barty whispered in his ear.
“You will?”
Barty nodded and pushed out a hushed yes. “Of course I will.”
“I’ll always love you too Bee.”
-
One year later, Barty was sobbing. He was shrieking for help, he was crying, he was bawling, he was shaking and pale and pleading. “Evie no.” He croaked out as he held the dying boy in his lap, urgently running his hand all over Evan’s hair.
“It’s okay Bee.” Evan whispered, his voice hoarse and croaky like it hurt to even speak.
“No- no it’s not.” He hissed and sniffled, his cheeks flushed red and tears streaming down his face. Barty Crouch Jr never cries, never. But he was a mess right now, and even he knew there was no stopping what was about to happen.
Evan coughed, the bloodstains on his shirt becoming more prominent. Barty had found him like this, a rather injured and bleeding wizard running away from him, who just left Evan here to rot. All alone.
Pressing his hands against the wounds, Barty shrieked out a cry as he buried his head in Evans shoulder. It’s something he’s used to doing, he does it all the time, and Evan always used to kiss his hair and whisper sweet nothings into his ear.
He cried more into his lovers shoulder, his Evan, always his Evan. Nobody should’ve been able to take him away, Barty should’ve been there. That’s not fair, it doesn’t work like that- he can’t go. Not yet.
“Evie.” He muffled into his neck. “Please don’t leave me.” He choked out. “Not- not yet.” His voice was small, muffled by the material of Evans jumper. He could practically hear Evan smiling a pitying smile as he ran a hand through Barty’s hair, kissing the top of his head.
“I’ll always love you, Bee.” Evan whispered into his ear. “Always.”
Barty’s cries grew, chanting a string of no and please. “I’ll always love you too Evie.”
“Always?” Evan whispered into his ear again.
“Always.”
Holding Evan tighter as he felt the life drain out of his body, Barty muffled his last cry into Evan’s torn clothes. “I’ll find you, I promise.”
-
“Dora.” Evan shook her shoulders.
It was years later, in the afterlife to be exact. It was beautiful here, far more relaxing and lacked the horrors that were the wizarding world. Or so he thought.
“Dora, why isn’t Bee here?” He asked warily. “Why? He should be here, he-“
Pandora had tears in her eyes, she looked horrified.
Evan had sent her to watch over Barty as he took his last breath, Evan couldn’t bear to see it. He just wanted to see Bee, his Bee. “Pandora, what is it?” He asked again in a smaller voice.
“He-“ A beat. “The dementors kiss.” She trailed off, staring into oblivion. Her horror struck face stone and fixated on the ground.
“No- no he’s not.” Evan shook his head and stepped closer to Pandora. “Pandora look at me.” She looked up, biting her lip anxiously and blinking away the tears that were already streaming from her eyes.
She placed a hand on his cheek, Barty always used to do that, he thought. “I’m sorry-“ She started.
“They can’t take him from me again.” He swallowed. “No, they haven’t it’s not true…” He cried.
Shrugging Pandoras hand away, he fell to the floor. Sitting at the bottom of a nearby tree and resting his back on it, his head slammed back into the wood as he groaned in pain, but not from his head, from his love.
His sister crouched down in front of him, placing both hands on his knees. “I saw it happen, Ev.” She sniffled.
He couldn’t bear to imagine it, Barty, Bee, his love, getting his soul sucked from his beautiful body. Left motionless and pale on the cold stone floor of a cell, nobody there to mourn him, nobody left to care.
I’ll always love you Bee. He thought as he sobbed into Pandoras shoulder.
Always? A deep voice spoke from the back of his head.
“Always.”

Can we get info on each kolya kid? :3
omg certainly! (☆▽☆) tagging @bodacioustomato bcs i'm referencing our convos too tehehe
the first kid is Yuri (also called as Yurochka by nikolai). he is mama's boy and already independent from the young age due to him always helping mama and nikolai always try to bond with him by teaching him how to do basic chores bcs all men need to be competent. he actually was not close with nikolai especially when he was just born. mainly because nikolai was still feeling strange about being a father and all, so he's quite distant with yuri at first, and it caused yuri to prefer mama a lot of times. but over the time, nikolai learns how to bond with yuri through his jest and his 'mature' side sort of. i'd say yuri embodies the calm and intelligent part of nikolai. he's the whole reason why nikolai is anxious and uneasy when he's about to be a father but the boy is calm and behave very well that nikolai also thinks that well, maybe being a father isn't so bad.
second kid is Mari (her name comes from the word marigolds!). she's truly nikolai's princess, the daddy's girl. when nikolai holds her the moment she was born, he felt genuinely happy and at that time he's already liking fatherhood. mari is quite girly but she won't hesitate to throw hands if anyone bothers her siblings (and she also doesn't hesitate to throw hands on her brothers as well). even though she is closer with nikolai, she does run to mama when nikolai acts too clownish for her own good. she also likes to spend dad's money because why not and oftentimes, whenever nikolai is away, she likes to drag mama to go shopping together with his bank card. she follows mama's face more.
third kid is Karol! he takes the whole clownery from nikolai and maximise it to its full potential. this boy could rival nikolai's clownery. he's a meme god and a menace. evie and i believe that if he's alive during the vine era, he is the vine king. he also keeps up with old memes too. when mama was carrying him, karol often kicks the stomach that nikolai has to 'playfully' scold him. even though he is a menace, a simple strict “Karol.” from nikolai is enough to make the boy halt his playfulness. like, karol definitely listens to mama and probably his siblings, but if nikolai voices out? ooh he means business and karol would immediately be on his best behaviour. nikolai and karol bond by their similar humor. literal clown to clown communication.
no fourth kid because nikolai goes to get vasectomy.

Hey! Could you please do some headcannons of cuddling with Jay from descendants?
Thank you!
oh fuck yes baby boy NEEDS a snuggle so fuckin bad. Jay is SO motherfucking - his full name is Janasheen Lagmani Mufti btw (successor, born at nightfall, one who gives council or legal advice) - Jay is SO motherfuckin touch starved that he'll get injured on purpose just so he can feel you touch him up. After a while you start to catch onto this because you don't have the heart to tell him he's not quite as slick as he thinks he is. So OBVIOUSLY I have a medieval game OBVIOUSLY I have a jousting game the only way you're gonna get him to turn into your snuggly lil bunbun (yes he does insist you call him that after you say it once as a joke and he loses his mind) is to make him think YOU'RE really the one who needs cuddles. like of course you're feeling kinda sad and tired from all your schoolwork so of COURSE you need a big strong tough cool guy star of the tourney team to make you feel all safe and cozy. obviously it's TOTALLY for your benefit. not at all because Jay was not hugged once as a child! that's hilarious and true and totally not the reason at all! I just washed my hands that's why they're wet! no other reason!
but yeah once you actually start cuddling with him it's going to take approximately less that six seconds for him to become a total and complete velcro boyfriend. it takes longer to watch any vine in existance than it does for Jay to latch onto you like a small baby bird. he did not know that touchy feely stuff could be so... nice. especially when it's with you. he tried giving Carlos and Evie and Mal bear hugs between classes when he's away from you and it was good, but it wasn't the same. Maybe it's because Carlos still thinks he's going to get suplexed whenever Jay grabs him like that or maybe it's because Mal keeps asking if he huffed her spraypaint and that's why he's so huggy out of nowhere (Evie doesn't mind too much as long as he doesn't wrinkle her outfits or mess with her hair and makeup. she actually approves of you two and likes that you're bringing out Jay's more affectionate side. she makes a mental note to give you the friends and family discount on any future designs you order from her.) but shortly after that first time you snuggled up with Jay and had him tell you all about the video games he's been playing and about tourney practice he's full on addicted to your touch and cuddles. Coach sometimes has to pull you off your extra curriculars to give Jay hugs and kisses during practice when he cops an attitude or gets too rowdy. you're known as the Jay whisperer immediately and believe me the nickname sticks. Carlos asks what the hype is once and you give him head scratches and he understands.

Soft sobs were heard from deep within the forest. They were high pitched like a child’s and ___ felt herself drop the beads she held in her hands, going towards the sound. Her forehead furrowed and ears pulled back, confused. What is going on? Who left a child on their own so far into the jungle?
She stepped over tree roots and piles of fauna, leaves tickling her shins. She took note of the darkening sky, eclipse was near and Pandora’s night was just beginning. It drove her to find the source of the noise even faster.
The sobbing got louder as she stepped next to an overly large tree root, ears swivelling at the cries. Her steps were quiet as she got closer, pulling back flowers and vines. The sight that greeted her was one she did not expect, not entirely.
It was a human.
He seemed extremely small, smaller than the humans she knew at Hellsgate. He was about the size of a baby Na’vi. Her foot stepped on a twig in her distracted state and the boys head jumped up, seeing the large woman and whimpering. He scooted back further under the root, hoping to hide from her.
“Shh I am not going to hurt you” she spoke in English, her words heavily accented. His eyes widened slightly, not expecting to understand her. “My name is ___ te Tsakxel Rola’ite” she introduced herself, hoping to get his in return and find out who he was. He must have been apart of the other humans at camp, but she has never seen him before.
“I am Miles” now it was her turn to blink in surprise, his Na’vi was accented with that of a skypersons, but his words were fluent like that of her peoples. She kneeled to the ground and got down to his height, or as close as she could get, trying to be level with him as to not intimidate the child.
“Why are you here alone paskalin?” she figured it was safe to talk to him in her mother tongue and continued to do so when she saw no signs of confusion on his face. “Why so far out from home?”
“I…I am lost” he sniffed and faced the floor, feet digging into the dirt. His hair was matted and dirty and so was his skin, he held blue paint over the expanse of his body ‘to look like one of us’ she mused, her tail swished when she took note of the fact he wore a tweng and no human clothes, he wants to be Na’vi.
She stalked a little closer to him, looking into his eyes and seeing no flinching from him so she proceeded to go forward. She sat on her bottom next to him and pulled the boy into her arms as he continued to weep silently “But that is not all, is it?”
“My friends, they left me” he pushed his face against her arm, or tried to with the mask “We were playing a game and then they left me here” he spoke in both Na’vi and english. He would need work on his language skills.
“Hush ‘evi” she cooed sweetly, feeling motherly instincts take over her and brushed his locks back. Taking note of the forests glow, it was officially night and they would have to head back soon. “Come I will take you home”
The boy didn’t budge when she stood up and started to cling to her leg, afraid she would leave him alone even though she just stated the opposite. She smiled sadly and picked him up, holding him like any other baby or child she held. “Ma Miles, who is your family?” she started the walk back to camp, starting up a conversation as to not be in awkward silence.
“I do not have any” and her heart shattered. This poor child.. it was only five years since the war, maybe his parents died fighting. But this child is still alone, afraid and upset. “My mum died in a crash. My dad died..trying to kill the Olo’eyktan” at that ___ paused her walking and looked at him in her arms, forehead scrunched up.
“Your father.. he was the man that destroyed Hometree?” he nodded and more tears welled up in his eyes, he didn’t want her to cast him out like the others. She seemed nice.
“Srane. Please don’t be angry!” he buried his face against her again, this time in her neck. ___ hushed him and stroked his head, trying to calm the child.
“We are not at fault for what our parents did. I will never be angry at you paskalin” she continued to walk.
‘Honey’ it was a Na’vi term of endearment. Something he has never been called before. At her calming words and quite footsteps Miles Socorro was lulled to a peaceful slumber in her motherly arms.
Tumblr media
“Miles!” Norm shouted out at the kid who awoke just mere moments ago, already rushing to grab an exopack to get outside. “Kid! At least take an extra!”
“I’ll be ok!” The boy ran through the door the adult held open for him and watched as the child climbed over the hill, shaking his head. That kid was a cheeky little thing.
Ever since waking up, all Miles had on his mind was the woman. He rushed his breakfast and immediately went out to seek for her. Not caring for any other trivial things that the scientists wanted him to do, no he doesn’t want to bathe, or cut his hair, why must he have no hair?
As he was running he came to where the other Omaticaya were, eyes looking left and right for the woman who helped him. He stumped through large legs and weaved through kneeling aliens as he sought out the only thing on his mind.
“Boo!” the human squealed as he was turned around forcefully, seeing one of the Na’vi kids. His friend. Not the one who left him yesterday but his good friend. Kiri. “What are you doing monkey boy?”
“I’m looking for someone! Can you help me find her?” now this caught Kiri’s interest, he never went seeking for anyone but her and her brothers. So who could he be talking about?
“Who?”
“___… I can’t remember the rest of her name” he stated bashfully. Their names where long and filled with unnecessary titles, could you blame the kid?
“Oh! I know her! I think she is by the river! I will-“
“Kiri!” a more larger, angrier figure came into view, it was Neytiri. Tsahìk in training and his friend’s mother. “Za’u, set” she ushered the four year old away from the skyperson, glaring at the small boy and they walked away. Kiri turned her head back with furrowed brows and pointed to the direction where ___ was. Silently apologising for her mum.
Miles understood well, knowing he wasn’t favoured by Neytiri. He tried not to let that get to him and followed the direction his friend pointed to. Running off into the deep jungle.
Now that the day was bright and the light cascaded well through the tall trees, it was easy for him to see. Which meant easier for him to climb. He jumped over pieces of wood to the best of his ability and vaulted over bits of hill. Manoeuvring a little clumsily but he was skilled, or at least he thought he was.
His foot caught onto a dip in the logs and he tripped, tumbling down luscious green plants and falling face first into a pile of dirt and mud from the rain a few days ago. He sat up and wiped his mask, trying his best to clear it.
Soft laughing caught his attention and he turned to the sound, seeing a blurry blue blob through his exopack. “Nga tam?” ___ giggled at him, helping the boy stand up.
“Yeah.. I’m fine” he said, blushing a little in embarrassment. That wasn’t supposed to happen.
“What are you doing here, monkey boy?” her ears wiggled and a grin stretched on her face, when taking Miles home to the humans she and Norm had a little talk about him. Everyone called him monkey boy, or spider, simply because he moved like the small animals back on Earth.
“Oe za’u ne run nga” he still wiped the mask, not yet seeing anything clear.
“Me? Why would you ever want to see me again nìhona ‘evengan?” his face burned even darker at the endearing nickname. ___ noticed his struggles of getting clean and picked him up, carrying him towards the river. “Tell me in a bit, let me get you clean”
She proceeded to place him in the shallow end of the water and scrubbed the dirt off his skin, using a large leaf nearby to take of the stubborn dry bits. Using her hand she washed his hair and the mud off the exopack so he can see better “I will redo your paint” she pointed to the very faint blue stains on his skin and Miles nodded.
“Wait!” he suddenly stopped and leapt out of the river, not caring about his now dirtying feet. ___ huffed. He went into some bushes and came out a few moments later with a beaded bracelet “I.. I made this for you! Irayo Si! For saving me”
___’s ears turned back against her head and she smiled, never having been given a gift from someone so sweet “Irayo spider boy, I love it!” she immediately shifted it up onto her wrist. A perfect fit.
Miles grinned happily, he has made people gifts but they have never been worn before. Seeing it on her made his chest puff with pride. He squealed as the woman gave his head a big smooch, exaggerating the sound and tickled his stomach a bit.
Tumblr media
As promised Miles’s paint was redone and they both relaxed on the river bank, ___ snacking on some fruit she saw nearby and saved some for the boy to take home later.
“I had a son” she started and it immediately got the humans attention, wide eyes staring up at her. “He would have been your age this year” her eyes held a distant look as she reminisced on the past, eyes slightly watering.
“What happened?” Miles took in her expression and knew he was stepping into uncharted territory but he couldn’t help but ask.
“Tawtute”
‘Human, Skyperson’ it was what killed her baby and her mate. The boy felt a wave of sadness hit him and he scooted closer to lay his head in her lap, understanding her but also not fully. He can’t remember his parents, she can remember her son. They both lost people that were dear to them. He felt empathy towards her.
“I am sorry”
“There is nothing to apologise for monkey boy. I have met you, no? The great mother has truly blessed our encounter” despite him being the species that killed her family, her people, her home. He was just an innocent child who has done no wrong.
Miles felt tears gather on his lash line, no one has ever said something like that before. The nicknames. The sweet words and embraces. It was like what he has seen mothers do to their children. Something he secretly longed for.
“My sweet child there is no need to cry” ___ cooed “I will take care of you”
“Do you swear?”
“With my life”

Wholesome
Heyo Y'all!
Here's the one wholesome scene you get. ONE. UNO. You're welcomeeeee!!!
------------------------------------------------------------
Jakkon ran gentle fingers through Eveny’s wavy black hair, a small wistful smile on his face as they watched the sunset through the window together, refracting small scatters of rainbows over them as it hit the glass just right.
“What are you planning to do for the celebration in the morning, Jak?” Eveny smirked. “Talk to some friends? Sing me a song? Stare at the stars for a while? Take me dancing?”
“I’m not sure. But if it involves you I want all of it.” The Satyr wrapped his arms around his new wife as she laughed.
“Same to you sir.” She reached a hand back and flicked one of his horns. “I love you.”
“I sure hope so. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have married me! I love you too. But speaking of which, I did challenge Petals to a competition for tomorrow. I let her choose the subject, but knowing her, it’ll probably be a physical fight. Promise me you’ll still like me with a black eye Evie?”
Eveny laughed. “Don’t be mean Jak! She’ll probably choose chess or something.”
“Nah, she’ll choose something she can win.” Jakkon fixed his position so he leaned against her.
“She swamped you in chess last time!”
“That’s because you gave her over half of my pieces Ev! I would have won!” He smirked. “But I suppose I still have one queen left, and that’s good enough for me. Perfect in fact.”
“Yeah, but I have a king, so I win!” Eveny stuck her tongue out at him.
“I can always count on you to one-up me Evie.”
“That’s just because I’m better Jak!” She smirked, hundreds of tiny lilacs blooming down her hair in pink and white. Jakkon laughed.
“I suppose you are love. I’m just glad you’re mine and I get to be yours.” He sat up and turned to look her in the eyes as he gently took her face in his hands. “You are everything I could have wanted, and more than I could even imagine. Thank you.” And with that, he kissed her.
Eveny melted into Jakkon’s arms as more lavender bloomed all over her face and skin, slowly intertwined with grape vines as they extended from the flowers and wound into his horns, hundreds of petals falling over him as Eveny leaned forward into him. They tried to pull away for a moment but found they could barely get two inches apart as Eveny’s vines had become fully entangled in Jakkon’s horns, tethering the two together. The Satyr and Fae both dissolved into laughter as Jakkon reached up, touching the tip of his finger to a small bunch of grapes on a vine. “I see you really do love me then Evie.”
She blushed and abruptly pulled him back toward her. “Leave it as our little secret?”
“Of course.”  Jakkon smiled at his wife and kissed her again as the last light of the setting sun fully faded, leaving the two completely alone with one another.

I love writing Evie because we have this scary gangster man, right? No one fucks with Tommy Shelby...but here we have him managing a preteen-teenage girl with absolutely no mother figure to lean on. Of course there is Polly, but honestly, Polly is so sick of getting kids dumped on her. So, like, she's "it's your responsibility now...I'm done". Like, Tommy had Grace and Lizzie in regards to Charlie and Ruby. He could lean on them and essentially push off all the parental duties onto them. In the end, he was very off hands. But Evie? He has no woman to lean on. It's just him and her hormonal teenage years.
This is perfect sweet revenge for all the things he did in canon to piss me the fuck off. Like here he has a girl he adopted, thinking it would be the easiest thing in the world and BOOM.
First period? You bet your fucking ass it'll just be him and her home. PMS? Oh, I will make her a a terror to be around. School work? Yup, she'll suck at school just for he has to always go in and face the scary nun. Discipline? Pfffft. First crush? First boyfriend? First breakup? ooooh, Tommy, bless your heart. You are not even closely prepared for the shit I will put you through. You think Evie is going to stay in the house when all her friends are at a party?! LOL, BOI....you think you have her on lock down in her room. But our girl knows how to scale down vines from a window. First driving lessons?! Hmmm, just you wait for those chest pains and bet your ass she is going to run over like 90% of the family and hit everything in her way. Ruining all 5 of your cars.
And just the fact that he is the only parent and will have to attend every single fucking function....You think you are going to head to the pub at 7pm on a Friday? No, no horse boy. You got that school play. Saturday? that recital. Sunday? Choir.
School bake sale? You better make sure them biscuits get there by noon. Wednesday? Yeah, that is your day to carpool Evie and her friends home. Every 3rd Friday in the month?! It's your turn to host the sleepover.
I am going to torture him in the form of a small girl.

Here’s a voicemail that I think Lucifer would leave for Eve, based on a post that @hoverboards-and-dragons made
*dial tone*
Voice Mail: You’ve reached the Root of All Evil, leave a message after the beep. Beep! Hehe 😂
Lucifer: *sighs* Heyy, Evie…sorry, I should’ve figured you wouldn’t pick up. Frankly, I uh…can’t really blame you…so um…I’ve been thinking lately a-about redemption and second chances. Not that I think you need a second chance, I’m requestiing a second chance from you cause the Hazbin Hotel has got me in a certain kind of mood about second chances and all- no, NO! That’s not good. Goddamn it I should’ve written this down.
*five minutes later*
Lucifer: EVIEEEE I’M SORRYYYY SINNERS AREN’T WICKED! THEY’RE BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING AND KIND AND I WANNA SNUGGLE MY SINNER AGAIN!
*five more minutes*
Lucifer: So Charlie has a hotel now. And I gotta schedule a meeting with Heaven for her and I’m not gonna lie Imm fucking terrified. Wait….what if I make a rubber duck for you as an apology?!
*an hour later*
Lucifer: Tada!! The magic tastical vine-growing EVIE duck! She’s got your eyes….oh who am I kidding, you wouldn’t want a duck….hell you’ll probably delete this when you see it’s from me. Just….i really wanna talk to you, Evie. I need to talk to you, about us. I…I love you. I love you so much and it’s killing me that we’re apart like this. I miss you so damn much Evie…you’re the apple of my eye. I mean that…well, I erm…I should probably hang up before this gets long. I love you….bye.
