They,, may sort of,, take over the Japanese economy (Shindou's fault) and the soccer world because they're ''fighting fire with fire''. AKA they COULD stage another revolution through the means of soccer and show everyone what real soccer is, OR they could fight Fifth Sector for their influence and power OR infiltrate them from within and take over the whole thing (in secret, of course. Endou might suspect. Endou will take it to his grave.) because that's more fun.

ok i already redesigned Gem after seeing a very very pretty dress. So I did a bit more thinking and some more Prism research and I have an idea of how she works in this AU now :D

She still has a bit of the elven theme but I wanted to focus more on how flowy the fabrics were and also give her more armor pieces. The armor is based more on porcelain corsets rather than actual armor tho lol

In Prism a magical girl's power is defined by how many colors they have, how much the colors appear on their outfit, and how vibrant the colors are. Generally girls only have two colors: a main and an accent. Gem has a very vibrant main color, but her accent color (yellow) is very minimal, so technically she is not that powerful. Shes like mid-to-low tier power-wise. But she does not look that way and though she's not as powerful, she lasts a long time in a fight. It takes a good while for her vibrancy to go down.

Her weapon is a staff that is very good at bonking people. It can extend out into different lengths and thats about all it can do lol. Simple and effective

Her Prism's name is still Mackenzie, a very playful prism who enjoys pranking and hiding, particularly in clothing. She is a gremlin

we saw that he clearly feels something for jin, pretty much moved on from non, and isn’t that involved in tan’s plan (just went to fuck jin and didnt get any info like he was supposed to) and even seems to want to spill at least some part of the truth to jin

but despite everything that just happened in the house, he isn’t against tan either. he’s unpredictable, just standing here in the middle, not taking any part in the chaos that is unfolding.

in a way that behavior kinda reminds of fluke’s, seeing everything that unfolds but not taking any side

after watching ep9 i was mad, like damn phee how could you? we all believed in you but you just went ahead and fucked one of the dudes that made your bf’s life miserable and eventually led to his disappearance, have you got no shame? i mean i was pretty on board with all the ‘phee and tan are the masterminds, they’re the ones behind the masks, they’re here to take revenge for non and kill everyone’ theories so obviously i was a bit disappointed…

but still, phee didn’t really take any side (yet).

tan told him he planned on drugging everyone in that house and he clearly didn’t look in his right mind in that moment. then por was impaled on a branch. all of them started having hallucinations. fluke got a gun and is waving it at everyone. top clearly looked possessed and is becoming violent. now fluke almost shot someone and has white at gunpoint.

all of that was caused by tan’s drugs. (except the 9th person and the uncle that got decapitated but that’s for another time)

mixing hallucinations with a gun, a knife, deep-buried secrets and fear is not a good recipe. one of them already died and that’s only adding to the chaos.

once again, all of that was caused by tan’s drugs, in a butterfly effect kinda way.

My thoughts on the pjo show (now that the season is over) (this is going to run long) Overall Rating: 8/10 :

Ok first of all, I actually LOVED the show and the cast is literally awesome; I do have some thoughts and feelings tho.

The GOOD :D

The visuals were eating ngl

THE CAST!!!! they literally were amazing cannot stress this enough

I think a lot of the changes were handled super well, especially Medusa (although I don't love all of the changes...see below in the next section lol)

I LOVED the set design for pretty much all of the scenes!!! Like the set & costuming was literally so good; sometimes it looked a little Volume-y but I think it's ok since they also clearly did a bunch of on-location stuff

Driving scene was literally so funny like no notes on that + the acting was On Point pretty much All of the Time.

I actually think they slayed with the special effects

Pretty accurate! (overall a waaaaaay better adaptation than the movies)

More Sally content was awesome!! And I cannot stress this enough the ACTORS WERE SO GOOD in their roles!! Like I think they were the perfect choices ngl and I hope to see more of them in season 2 (if we get one, idk if its greenlit yet)

Genuinely had a great time watching the scenes from the books I've loved since Forever come to life onscreen!

Rick's subtle rewriting of the story was sometimes very cool! (Like with the water grabbing Percy etc) --- you can definitely tell that he's thinking about how he'd change the story if he were to write it today

THE LIGHTING WAS TOO DARK IN NIGHT SCENES!!!! HATE THAT TROPE WHY CANT I SEEEEEEEE (looking at u medusa scene)

I feel like they should've fallen into like…at least one trap without Knowing Everything about it. Like, I get the Medusa change and am pretty on board with it, but I feel like a few of the other changes weren't really necessary & messed with the stakes. A lot of the time it felt like I was watching them explain "Oh you're THIS person so you will do THIS so I will do THIS" instead of like...showing me.

Not enough blood (this is prob a Disney problem, not the show creators fault but like...cmon Disney...they have swords, let the children get More Injured...they are Fighting for their Lives)

Felt kinda...dryer than the books? idk how to explain it...like it felt like there wasn't the same Vibes in some parts if that makes sense, like they switched out a lot of funny moments (esp with how they changed Charon and the Crusty scenes lowkey im bitter)

the tone was definitely sometimes waaay different from the books (like it was way more serious I think, which is good sometimes and less good other times)

Idk if this is 100% true bc my last reread was a few months ago, but I think they separated the main trio more than in the book (?), it felt like they were duo-ed with diff members for a lot rather than building off of their main dynamic -- they had some trio moments but ig i just wanted more (again, I could be wrong on this one tho)

Lotus Casino not really being as Fun (the pumping lotus flowers in the air was a cool detail tho!)

It generally felt like they took a lot of the funny parts in favor of talking more about how messed up the gods are (which I liked sometimes!! but the kids are 12 let them have more funny moments too yaknow) (Rip the Died in the Bathtub line...gone but not forgotten)

I really didn't love the changes that made the story feel more Cliche and Basic (the ones that annoyed me were changing the entire DOA to just Some Standard Death Eater Looking Fellow & Annabeth's interactions with Cerebus being completely changed)

Mixed feelings on Gabe...I wanted him to be more evil at the beginning but I get why they changed it ig. Plus he was literally so funny when he (spoilers?) got murdered by opening someone else's mail. That's what happens when you commit a federal crime ig.

General Character Thoughts:

PERCY: Walker Scobell was such a good casting call... like you can tell he really cares about the books & getting the character right. Acting was on point, sass was on point (but I do wish he got to be sassy a bit More); Really gives off the energy of Percy Jackson and definitely was AMAZING in this role!

ANNABETH: She was spectacular in this role!! Leah got literally all of Annabeth down to a T --- her kindness, her pride, her wisdom, etc etc without resorting to any kind of "stock smart girl" vibe. She was literally SO GOOD! I loved seeing her talk about her dad, and the detail about her not having seen a movie is such a mood and so in-character lowkey. Leah really nailed Annabeth's dry humor and general vibe like dfajkhfdjhkfdhjk

GROVER: He was my favorite! Like, his acting was AMAZING fr!!! They brought a lot of newer things into his character that I think worked really well & it definitely strengthened his characterization --- he was also really funny & so sincere I just loved his portrayal of Grover!

HOWEVER I think some of the arcs are shakier since the characters didn't struggle as much, since they were figuring out a Lot of things

Overall, I took 2 points from the rating because the Spirit and Humor weren't fully there and I felt some of the changes made it feel less like the OG and more cliche (looking at u Charon). However, the great acting, pretty slay writing (except for the tone stuff), Vibes, and all the other stuff I think they did right pulled through to get it ranked a little higher lol. Plus, I liked it, even if I didn't like all of it.

No hate if u loved the show adaptation tho!! Feel free to disagree, these are just my thoughts lol. I really genuinely hope there's going to be a season 2, although I would like if they fix a few of these problems in that potential season (please...let me see what's happening in the dark scenes...please...)

so, the concept is like spirits that haunt people by manifesting through big ass tattoos (at least full back in size) - as the tattoo is slowly completed so does the spirit slowly become part of the person. 

they'll take on traits of the host, such as pieces of their personality but also things the host may value or want to see in themselves. Ms. Hannya is physically feminine, very open to express impulsiveness and violence. Big D is more jovial and friendly than Kiryu but just as much of a himbo, etc.

the spirits themselves exist parallel to humans, doing ghosty goo things like haunting people or places, making shit fly off walls, the usual. but some of them are drawn to people to possess them as a form of interaction with the world they could not otherwise achieve. something about the slow process of tattooing, fresh wounds and the literal imagery help spirits shape into something tangible and attach themselves to the host. lesser spirits by contrast just sort of ‘exist’ without any real personality or being. 

theme-wise, the spirits take on the central subject of the tattoo (a dragon, hannya, tiger, etc) as well as other bits to varying degrees. for example, Ms. Hannya usually appears as a ghost looking thing but she can form a snake body or have sakura petals float around her. Nishiki's fish likewise could have water effects swirling around, etc.

the spirits are invisible to everyone (including other spirits) except the host unless they choose to show themselves. spirits can sense other spirits despite visibility.

when first manifesting, hints of them appear during the tattoo's initial progress.

Majima's started out by him seeing very unworldly hair tendrils in weird places, hearing Ms. Hannya’s voice, seeing vague apparitions of her, etc throughout the process of his tattooing. Saejima saw bamboo growing out of the walls or something more benign for his lol.

I think it'd be cool to interpret the heat effects from people's in-game fighting moves as them literally channeling their spirit 👀 so when Kiryu’s got his flame aura going on, that’s his dragon helping out. I want to keep the spirit’s ability somewhat in line with the games so the spirits themselves aren’t going to be directly fighting other people or doing fancy shit like Jojo stands but rather mostly buffing their hosts. spirits do have some limited physical interaction with things like they can touch and be felt but it’s more or less within a short radius from their host.

people who have heat effects to their moves but say, no tattoos could be host to lesser spirits that don’t develop into their own being. said host’s connection to that spirit is weak and they wouldn’t even know they’re possessed but that fire shit do be cool tho. people like Akiyama or Shinada would fit here and still prove to be pretty strong but it’s not as comparable to as those with fully sapient spirits.

spirits are very protective of their hosts since it's their ticket to interacting in the real world though it varies. some might be more self centered while others will genuinely bond with their host. 

Ms. Hannya is very defensive of Majima, to the point she's often aggressive and has a lot of tough love to give him. initially he was very resistant to her manipulations to go apeshit and she doesn’t particularly care for his selflessness at his own expense, so the beginning of their relationship was fairly hostile. she became even more protective of him after his experience in the hole. she’s not a fan of anyone who uses Majima (even if he lets them) so people like Kiryu are on her shit list and to a lesser degree Saejima, due to the ‘I’m constantly going back to jail’ thing lol.

Big D is quite the opposite, he’s willing to go along with whatever Kiryu says and shares his recklessness. he’s a very passive spirit who doesn’t bother to argue with Kiryu because he knows there’s no point in talking to a brick wall so he just does his best to protect him. Ms. Hannya is pretty irritated by his passivity just because she thinks Big D could *try* to reel Kiryu in from being a dumbass but frankly he doesn’t think Kiryu would listen.

hosts and spirits share emotional and physical feelings.

for better or worse, spirits can feel all the physical sensations their hosts do. Majima’s time in the hole was enough to make Ms. Hannya disappear for the most part as she was too weak to even manifest. she could talk to him but barely.

as far as emotions go, neither hosts or spirits can make each other feel things. instead it’s more like, they can understand what the other is feeling innately. so if Majima’s making googoo eyes @ Kiryu and denying anything lovey dovey is going on, Ms. Hannya can call him out on it lol.

there’s porny implications here too so do with that information as you will lol

spirits cannot be damaged physically unless the tattoo itself is damaged. touchups can help maintain their appearance. upon the host’s death, the spirit also “dies” and reverts back into a lesser spirit, losing its memories and identity.

given my Nishiki lives AU, his fish got burnt pretty badly so his spirit has since taken up a similar appearance. unlike Nishiki who in a way feels like the damage done to himself is deserved as some sort of penance, his spirit is actually rather bitter about it.

Dal is such a a cool character! There's so much to know about him tho, so I want to ask to have a better understanding:

How many alternate universe Dal's are there?

By koopasona does that mean Dal IS you or like a part of you?

How long has he been around for?

Is there like, one main storyline his Mario verse self abides by, or can he like shift through realities? Or is there a Dal for every interest you have

Last one how did Dal and Luds get together? (I'm an OC x canon shipper myself so like a dork I had to ask 💀)

Hoo boy, this could take a hot minute... Okay, let's just go from top to bottom!

1.) How many alt Dals are there? There's uh... a lot of them. Not including the Dallies, there's... sixteen of them??? I haven't stopped to count them all recently so this number comes as a bit of a shock. This number might not even be correct... :'D

2. Is Dalex my sona/part of me? Not anymore. Dal did start as a sona of mine, but evolved into his own character later on. I still use the 'koopasona' tag for him mostly out of laziness; by the time he became his own thing, there were already hundreds upon hundreds of posts involving him and I didn't have it in me to change his tag, even with the help of the mass post editor. Though considering that this lack of change can still make people believe otherwise, I should probably get off my ass and just do it already =w="

3. How long has Dalex been around for? According to dA, my very first post of him was back on my birthday in 2016. Dude's been running around for more than half a decade. They grow up so fast... ;w;

4. Is there a main storyline, or does he shift realities? In the Marioverse specifically, there's three different Dals: The Koopa one, the Human or "Real Worlder" one, and finally the "Hooman" one; aka the 'Nintendask-style' one that I haven't used in a very long time. The Human and Koopa versions both have their own separate stories, the former siding with the Mushroom Kingdom and the latter siding with the Koopas. No shifting realities here, or in any other 'verse for that matter, but there is something called the Dallyverse where Dals and Dallies from other realities can meet up and hang out. These multiverse meetups have absolutely no effect on the stories they live through; it's just for funsies.

5. Is there a Dal for every interest I have? Not every interest, but I can get the urge to toss a Dal in there very quickly. Even if I never go through with it, the idea will sit there in my head for a while.

6. How did Dalex and Ludwig get together? I've seen your ask blog; Suzuka's pretty cool too! ;3 But to actually answer your question, that depends on which Dal you're asking about. I'll assume it's the Koopa version for now. This answer's a bit long, so get a snack ready =w="

It takes both of them a while to realize how they feel about each other. As much as Dal enjoys romance as a genre and can see it between other people in real life, he doesn't notice when romantic attention is directed at him. He's never had a crush before either, but knows for a fact that he'd never fall for someone he barely knows (bro's demiromantic). It isn't until someone points out how his soul sphere (the blue thing in his hair) kept turning pink around Lud that he got on the right track; thinking about how much he enjoys spending time with Lud beyond Koopa heritage/magic lessons/general Koopaling shenanigans is what helps him realize that something... more might be there, at least on his end.

Does he confess? Oh hell no. Despite what his normal demeanor may imply, Dal doesn't always have a high opinion of himself and the effect he can have on others. What's so special about him anyway? What could he give Lud that more than a dozen other Koopas out there couldn't? What if he just bores Ludwig in the end? It's... probably better if he doesn't do anything...

On Ludwig's end, he doesn't notice it either, but the signs are more obvious. He starts seeking Dal out even when they aren't scheduled for a heritage/magic lesson. He finds it easier to talk to Dal with each passing day, even when they aren't alone. Dal's presence has a calming effect on the normally stand-offish Prince, with the latter's title having practically no effect on how Dal treats him making it even better. He actually leaves the castle to visit Dal's place, even spending the night every now and again.

It's... comfortable. Peaceful. More than Ludwig thought it would be. He knows that people like Dalex are hard to come by when you're of such high status, and knows how lucky he is to call Dal a friend.

The Chain Chomp incident happens, and Dal's injured. Lud refuses to let anyone else touch him; the thought of Dal getting hurt frightened him more than it should've. Dal was able to handle himself against two loose Chomps, Lud knew he wasn't hurt that badly, but still...

He starts getting handsy; first checking on Dal's wounds and later leaning on Dal and staying close to him without realizing it. Nearly nuzzling him at times. He doesn't think about it, he just does it like it's instinct. It's as easy as drifting off to dreamland.

Then his siblings spell it out, and suddenly he feels like he's having a nightmare.

Thing is, Lud's already been in two relationships before meeting Dal, and they both ended badly. He was a bit more open about his first boyfriend, but said BF was effectively scared away by jealous "fans." The second left him because Lud tried too hard to keep the relationship under wraps, leaving said relationship feeling more like a dirty little secret. They parted peacefully, but the breakup left Lud crying himself to sleep every night for over a month.

He'd already messed up twice, and he did NOT want to mess up a third time. Not with Rathmore.

Despite this, Lud's pining soon becomes unbearable. He can take a rejection, really, and he'd thank all the stars in the sky if Dal actually said yes. It's just the public's reaction that Lud's afraid of since they already scared one guy off. They might scare Dally too.

He confides in Lemmy about all of it. His cousin encourages him to go through with confessing; third time's the charm, right? Dal's got a good head on his shoulders; if he can take two Chomps, he can take crazy fans. Plus, with everything Lud's taught him, he can protect himself even better!

It takes a while for Lemmy's words to sink in, but eventually they do. Maybe... maybe things will work out this time. Maybe he doesn't have to be too cagey, and won't be forced to pay a price if he's more open. Maybe he can just... be, and that will be enough. It certainly feels like it's been enough so far; Dal's always understood whenever Lud wanted to stay inside or had work to do and therefore couldn't hang out...

He... really was perfect, wasn't he? Exactly what Ludwig had always wanted. He'd be a fool to let Dal slip away.

Ludwig Von Koopa was many things, but a fool was not one of them.

Rinka and Orter are at Joe's again but instead of opting to do the monthly endurance drinking game that he won 24/25 times. He suggests a different game.

"Darts?" - Yeah. (fyi idk how darts work so this is like not accuratteeee)

The gist of it is that whoever hits the lower target has to drink a shot and that after x number of rounds, whoever has the higher score winsss and gets a favour from the loser. And if you've read the fandom wiki - Orter is god at darts.

Oh yeah and this is without magic too so Rinka's garbage at it. "How do you do this without magic?"

"Let me show you."

They're both pretty comfortable with each other (I mean they're like fake dating dating out of convenience) and too concentrated on the game to really take a moment and consider how close they were with each other. Like the sides of their heads were practically beside each other with his arms guiding hers. They both don't notice it even when she gets her first tiny win (the dart actually hit the thing) in an ocean of fails.

I'm telling you they're oblivious to the fact they ACTUALLY like each other romantically. Nobody even points it count because THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO BELIEVE THAT THEY'RE IN LOVE. (It's genuinely stupidly effective that Kaldo, someone who knows Rinka really well, can't spot the half-lie.)

Rinka's like tipsy at this point (they played like a bunch of rounds) but thinks she can keep going with the drinking.

So Orter wins obviously but he doesn't utilise the favour straight away like she did. (Not yet published EP 7 moment)

He's saving it for when it's necessary to use because she's pretty accepting when she trusts that person to doing stuff.

They head back to his office and like: the two heavy drinkers were now officially drunk.

Orter's open about his feelings/thoughts he sounds more like a flirt/clingy lmao while Rinka's shy (her usual persona is more like a cool older sister type, so her being shy/hesitant which is more in line with her as a teen is like partial truth.)

So mannerism switch from the typical OrKa interaction.

Orter brushes out some loose strands from her face (hairstyle is now down and free) and she's like not used to the feeling of being the center of attention still.

"Don't be startled when I say shouldn't hide yourself. You're pretty" She's taken aback by this (yeah bro has never stated she was pretty, it's a big deal). "Not even a thank you? You're too humble for your own good."

"You're starting to sound like Ryoh."

"How so?"

Lists their similarities until he's like right at her face and she's like super conscious of him. Bro's eyes feel like they're looking right through her which wells up more fear in her than expected.

But it's still calming.

They get interrupted by a phone call by Renatus that a super important corpse went missing.

-Ok so. The idea of Mari tickling Kel while Hero tickles Sunny next to her is SO SO cute because like. Both of their little brothers will be giggling in their laps, and as much as Kel wants to protest he really isn't fully trying to get away so he's definitely having fun (Sunny couldn't try to get away if he wants his body like shuts down when he's being tickled and all he can do is sorta squirm around and curl into himself but they know he’s def having fun too)

-And ofc the two of them have different tickling styles and know exactly how to get their younger siblings bc. Siblings things

-Some more context hcs, I imagine Sunny's worst spots are (in order): neck/collar bones and BEHIND HIS EARS DUDE, the place where his lower ribs meet his back, and knee/underneath his knee

-For Kel it goes armpits, hips (he shares this with Hero teehee), and then specifically the pads of his feet

-Mari is naturally a pretty gentle but merciless tickler

-Like. First of all her fingernails aren't super long but they're very well taken care of bc piano and she likes painting them

-Second, her fingers are NIMBLE like she literally plays the piano on ur body it's actually so weird bc it's unpredictable to the lee but she's following her own little pattern

-Also her fingers are actually somewhat calloused from over-practicing which makes gentle tickles a bit more effective (bc I said so)

-Also x2 she is an expert in gentle tickling and squeezing, which makes her the perfect ler for Sunny

-Don't get me started on her teasing. Shivering in my boots rn.

-As for Hero!! He is definitely not as elegant or nimble, a bit more sloppy

-As for Hero, he's not much of a teaser tbh he likes laughing w his lee and it just makes him smile tickling some1 he is SO silly

-Kel is like the only exception he can be so mean and teasy w Kel he loves to build anticipation with him and use those silly nursery rhymes and stuff that embarrass Kel so much but successfully make him gigglier so

-W Sunny he's how he normally is tho, he's def the most gentle w Sunny since the boys have known Mari and Sunny the longest and Hero sorta sees him as another little brother

-While Hero doesn't tease, he does like praising

-He'll say stuff like "Wow Sunny, you're doing so good! You're hardly squirming." or "It's okay, you can hide your face if you need." w his warm smile and he is so !!!! I love this man.

-This game usually happens when Kel and Sunny end up getting into some shenanigans (Sunny is usually dragged along but it's okay bc he has fun)

-So Kel starts taking things from Hero's side of the room when he's downstairs with Mari, like pens, a cookbook, his pillow, etc.

-And he hides em somewhere like under his bed

-When Hero comes upstairs to get them and notices half his shit is missing he's like. "KEL!! Where are you!!" And he searches around but can't find him or Sunny

-(They are hiding in Kel's parents room behind the bed and Kel is trying not to giggle which in turn causes Sunny to bite back small snickers)

-Mari hears the commotion and comes upstairs, Hero explaining what happened, and now Mari is feeling playful which is rubbing off on Hero

-She goes "Boyyyyys! We know you're around here!" bc they would've seen them go downstairs so

-The older two search the upstairs, calling out the younger two's names in teasy sing-song voices

-Until they make it to the parents room. And they know they've gotta be in there somewhere, plus there's not many places to hide

-So Hero slowwwwly opens the door, him and Mari walking in quietly

-He gets down to check under the bed, and sees the legs of the other two who are hiding behind the other side of the bed, and he silently motions there to Mari and she nods her head, grinning

-Mari goes "Awww man Hero, we can't find them anywhere! Where could they have gone?" all dramatic, causing the younger boys to muffle more tittering because she's being silly!!!

-Hero goes "Gosh, I don't know Mari! And they have a friend here to visit them too!"

-The two hiding perk up, and Mari catches on, going "Oh, and who might this friend be? I wonder if I know him!"

-"You definitely do! He's Kel and Sunny's favorite friend. His name is the Tickle Monster!"

-The trap has been set. Without thinking, Kel shouts "The tickle monster is NOT my favorite friend!!" Before slapping his hands over his mouth and making eye contact with a wide-eyed Sunny

-But it's too late, and Kel peeks over the bed to see the two older siblings shooting them menacing grins

-However the door behind them is still open, and Kel is pretty fast so...

-He grabs Sunny's hand and tugs him up with him, shouting "Run for it Sunny!!" And attempting to bolt out the door with him

-Except they were expecting this, and Mari catches Kel around the waist and scoops him up making him let go of Sunny's hand

-Sunny def can't run as fast, and he shrinks back when he drops Kels hand and looks up to see Hero playfully smiling down at him, wiggling his fingers like "claws"

-All Sunny can do it let out a quiet "Ah-! as Hero reaches forward and picks him up around the waist too

-Mari giggles as Kel tries to thrash around in her arms, going "Put me down put me down put me dowwwwn!! I don't WANNA see the tickle monster!!" (<- lying he literally provoked them bc he was bored)

-She goes "Aww, but he wants to see you, Kel!" and squeezes one of his ribs slightly to get a snicker out of him

-They are carried to Hero and Kel's room, the older two sitting on the floor with each other's brother in their lap

-Sunny is already sorta curling in on himself w Hero's hands around his waist, and Kel is once again squirming up a storm as Mari has a firm grasp on him (she is stronger than she looks)

-Now shenanigans begin MWAHAHAHA

-Mari looks at Hero and goes "Hmmm, your brother is looking a little different today. Are you sure you've got the right one?" In a silly acting voice

-Hero replies "Of course I do! I would know my ticklish brother anywhere!" (Kel is giggling from the antics and he goes "HERO!! Shut up!!" While Sunny is smiling softly but excitedly)

-Mari goes "If you say so!" And starts wiggling the tips of her fingers into Kel's ribs, using a tad more force than she would with Sunny

-Kel yelps and falls into his high pitched boyish laughter. It's all giggly and filled with empty protests as he squirms around, kicking his feet and throwing his head back onto Mari's chest as he laughs

-Meanwhile Hero sneaks his hands under Sunny's t shirt and starts dragging his fingers around his lower ribs, causing the younger boy to gasp and puff out his cheeks like he usually does, curling in and squirming side to side while his shoulders bounce lightly from the giddy laughter that won't quite come out

-Mari moves to Kel's stomach, squeezing the little bit of pudge that's there and above his hips, sending ticklish shocks that cause his laughter to transition into louder cackles and snorting

-She goes "Now wait a minute, I don't remember Sunny's stomach being this ticklish…"

-That actually draws a few giggles out of Sunny, and Kel goes "Mahari!! I'm Kehel!!"

-(They are being ignored)

-Hero plays along, going "Hmmm, I don't remember Kel's neck being so ticklish either..." as he skitters his nails lightly around Sunny's neck, making him scrunch up and let out a proper "haHA-!" Laugh b4 falling into silent giggling again

-"And look! Sunny's armpits weren't this ticklish either!" Mari says, and she has to raise her voice slightly bc Kel's laughter turns into louder cackles as she massages her thumbs into the spots right below his armpits which is so bad for him, like he literally just throws his head back and babbles out nonsense as his arms glue to his sides and he kicks his legs frantically

-Meanwhile again, Hero has moved to flipping Sunny around so his face is buried in his chest, Hero gently tickling the spot where Sunny's lower ribs and sides meet his back, making him snort quietly and fall into soft, hiccupy silent laughter

-"But if that's not Sunny, then who could it be!?" Hero says dramatically, watching as Mari gives Kel a break to catch his breath

-Kel is still in a fit of giggling, but he goes "Ihihi'm Kel!!"

-Mari gasps dramatically, and Hero continues "If you're Kel, then where is Sunny!?"

-Sunny snorts into Hero's chest again, gripping into his shirt as he mumbles "Hehero, Ihi'm right here!"

-Hero moves back to tickling around the back of Sunny's neck now and behind his ears after giving him a small break too, while Mari starts squeezing Kel's ribs again but softer this time

-Mari goes "Oh man! It looks like we accidentally exchanged brothers... how silly of us!"

-Hero nods and goes "Let's switch back!" and the two stop their tickling while the younger ones relax and let out the last of their giggling

-Mari and Hero gently swap the boys in their laps, and both rub soothing shapes into their brother's backs, watching their breathing slow as the adrenaline wears off and the sleepiness hits them

-The older two glance at each other and smile softly, standing up and carrying the two to Kel's bed, laying them down next to each other and pulling the sheets over them as Hero ruffles both of their hair gently

-The boys are quick to fall asleep from all that tickling and Mari quickly runs downstairs to get two little apple juice boxes to leave at the bedside table for them

-Hero and Mari then walk over and sit on Hero's bed, Hero pausing before smacking his forehead and going "I forgot to ask where he hid my stuff!"

-Mari starts laughing, before interlacing their fingers (which causes Hero's heart to skip a beat... or two) and going "Don't worry, we can ask when they wake up."

-Hero's cheeks are still pink as he reaches over and grabs one of the things from his desk Kel didn't hide, that being one of the Captain Spaceboy comics he had lying around.

-The two start reading through it together for fun, pointing things out and laughing quietly and talking about anything while their younger siblings sleep soundly in the bed across the room

Hmm well i have an idea that i would love to make a comic abt, and it is strongly inspired by the mahou shoujo genre, so it counts hehe :3 it's about magical girls whose powers are based on forms of art! I think about a lot of things that bother me about this genre, missed opportunities, or limitations due to the fact that most of those series are for kids... But my main gripe is that, if you look at action shounen series, even if they're made for young teens, they're still interesting to watch for older ppl, but with mahou shoujo it's like you always have to keep in mind: this was made for kids, and so the conflicts (even tho they can be pretty mature) are aimed at kids, so can be pretty watered down or underdeveloped :"3 and you get SOOOOOO many cool shounen series that do very cool things with the tropes and expectations (mp100, one punch man, hxh), but in the mahou shoujo genre you get the sub-genre of "edgy magical girls" inspired by Madoka (and i don't personally think Madoka actually belongs to that genre, it's a deconstruction of the mahou shoujo genre, but it is still a pretty traditional mahou shoujo). Edgy magical girls rely on shock factor a lot of the time. Like, Magical Girl Site and Magical Girl Raising Project are literally just shounen series but with magical girls - it's not really the same. Funnily enough, Kill la Kill, which is literally a shounen series, leans into the mahou shoujo genre and borrows a lot from it, to the point where it feels more like mahou shoujo than the previous 2 i mentioned 🙃 So i would really really love if the mahou shoujo genre continued to evolve, be taken more seriously, more experimentation to be done within it, etc while still remaining a mahou shoujo genre, with magical transformations and friendship saving the world, and turning into a big god-like magical being and having the final battle in space :"D

So, after explaining my motivation, here are a couple of things i would do in my story:

- older characters. Magical girls in these series are usually aged between 13 and 17, and any more is like an older magical girl. The magical girls in my story would still be young, but i would set the minimal age of all characters to 18.

- a lot of magical girls! What i liked in Magia Record (the game, idc about the anime) was that there was a lot of them! It was established in the original madomagi that girls establish their territories on which they work (i think they did it in Raising Project as well), which implies there are a lot of magical girls. They did do too many in Magireco (they didn't ALL have to be in this one city xD), but i love the idea. With my idea, it would also mean i get to create a lot of unique characters based on different forms of art :D

- RULES!!! It isn't always explained in stories HOW people use magic. In Witch Hat Atelier, you draw your magic! In Tweeny Witches, you need parts of fairies, such as their hair or feathers! For my story, it would make sense that the girls can use any magic they can imagine. But with them doing different arts, they would naturally imagine things differently! "How to use magic?" "What is magic?" They would all have different answers to these questions. Maybe one music girl would use sound waves to deafen their enemy, but another one would play relaxing melodies to put a monster to sleep, a third one could heal their allies because they believe music has a healing effect.

- Worldbuilding! Why are magical girls a thing? What is their bigger purpose? Where did their cute mascots appear from? What are the monsters that keep appearing? How did nobody know about all this before?? How long has magic even been a thing??? I'm certainly borrowing from Madoka with these questions, and i plan to have a "FUCK. OUR LIVES ARE MEANINGLESS" moment in the end, but 1) nobody dies 2) ppl recover from this and find new hope 3) they defeat the evil and lose their magic as an exchange, but it's ok because their art and their friendships are the real magic 🥰🥰

- more diversity! I can't represent absolutely everyone of course, but i would want to have characters of different ethnicities and genders and sexualities at least. There isn't a rule that only girls can be magical, it's just that I'm going to focus on girls, but there will be magical boys and enbies too lol :D i have ideas for some disabled magical girls and trans magical girls and i just have sooo many ideas for designs and backstories in my head!!! (⁠☆⁠▽⁠☆⁠)

So yeah, hopefully i could get to that at some point.... ^_^; and i hope you liked reading my rambles :"D

SPOILER REVIEW FOR THE MARVELS

Just got back from the theater, watched it with @that-coolllama and my mom :D 

This is all over the place but I'll try to keep it concise.

Let me start off things by saying I didn't have the biggest expectations from this movie. After watching it definitely exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend it! 

[ But TL;DR Plot Characters, and Comedy were awesome.  Couple of Scenes could have added stuff and  been a bit better. 8.5/10 ] 

Okay actual Review and Spoilers after the cut 👇

Things I liked!:

-I really liked the scene where Carol and Monica were attracted to the light like moths. That was really cool ,they just couldn't stop themselves from getting closer and touching it, human nature.

-Goose was so cute in the beginning!  SHE HAD BABIES which was fun. 27 I think. That scene that the kittens were eating all the ppl, hilarious.

-Kamala's family was a nice touch and were supportive, but didn't get in the way. Which was great :D Their duologue was natural.

-The beginning with Kamala's drawings was so fun!

-THE SINGING PLANET AND THE FACT THAT SHES MARRIED AND HER DRESSS AHHHHHHHH CAPTAIN MARVEL IS A PRINCESS?? is this based off something in the Comics? I need to see that. That world is cool and super creative. The universe is vast! Costume And Dance coordinators  worked real hard you can tell! 

-FIGHT SCENES UGH THE FIGHT SCENES. They were really good and well coordinated. I thought it would  be confusing but it wasn't :O. Especially after the training montage 💪

-The 3 Marvel Gals had awesome chemistry! All the dialogue felt so natural between them.

-Monica's Mom dying during the Blip is heartbreaking. Also seeing the background of the hospital in CHAOS was super interesting. I'm glad it is shown that  the Blip had an effect on  people's lives and not just. "a thing that happened oh well". Kinda reminds me of in Multiverese of Madness that guy tells Dr.Stange that his cat and brother died while he was blipped.

-The Skrull history is so heartbreaking. The Skrull REALLY can't catch a break huh :/ but it does create good world building & is interesting.

-THE END CREDIT SCENE THAT KAMALA IS ASSEMBING A YOUNG ANVENGERS TEAM?! AHHHH !!!!!

-The way the Kree Leader Villain just... disintegrated was crazy. Speaking of her, she was a pretty alright antagonist. I wouldn't go as far as to say that she was a villain since she was doing all this for a pretty good reason. Not that what she was doing was right, but from her perspective I understood where she was coming from.

Things I didn't like/could have used touch up: 

-The Special Effects were actual great and I didn't see any problem with it! except the scene where Monica and Kamala are falling in the sky. Other than that they were good throughout!

-Carol - "I caused a Civil War, the decay of a planet,  and the Skrull their Home"

Monica- " It's okay, we're family" 

LIKE GIRL NO IT IS NOT. okay actually I forgot why the AI was bad so maybe it was worth it but still ;-; 

-Out of all the sacrifices that one was a bitttt anti climactic. I think maybe the scene just suffered from being too short. Kamala and Carol should have been shown to react more. Still, was a pretty good sacrifice </3

-Definitely could have been longer. my brother mentioned how the ending kinda feels like a much of cut scenes just Frankenstein-ed together. And yeah and does kinda feel that way.

-Some things I would have loved to see- 

Like WHAT HAPPENED TO THAT SINGING PLANTET?!!?!??

Another scene of Goose and her kittens would have been nice.

On the singing planet Carol was like " we need new clothes" and the Prince is like "k" and they just show up with new clothes? Like we didn't see them react to it or anything -_-. C'mon Kamala loving her boots would be such an easy comic book callback.

Kamala calling Bruno and Nakia. Like they were not mentioned once! T_T KAMALA YOU CAN'T FORGET WHERE U CAME FROM.

This may be that I haven't seen ALL the MCU stuff but where did the Skull go? If they have a home now are there Skull on Earth. WHY WASN'T ANYTHING FROM SECRET INVASION MENTIONED.

-Anyways-

-That X-Men End Scene. .... uh ... very interesting to say the least. I have not consumed ANY X-Men content but like to have them in a different timeline than the main MCU is a lil lame, but go off. Idk I'd like to hear the thoughts of anyone who has seen X-Men content.

Overall, I think the comedy, characters, & world building all fit perfectly. 

A 8.5/10 movie for me. Can't wait to rewatch it!!!!!
