4. Hi! I’m looking for a specific fic that I’m kind of shocked I can’t find by myself. It’s a vampire au where lwj is a vampire prince that picks wwx as a companion. The setup is that the vampires go around to different villages and see everyone of a certain age, and the day lwj comes is wwx’s birthday so it seemed like it’d be unlikely he’d be picked. But then he is! I thought the word they used was “blood singer” but couldn’t find it just on ao3 :/ also checked “vampire au” but to no avail.

10. Hi! I'm looking for a fic in AO3. It was an Among Us AU but I can't seem to find it in the tag. It was where both Wangxian were the alpha imposters/alien monsters but normally there is only one alpha that can be on a ship at a time. They skirt around each other not sure if they have one of their kind there but the signs are there. In the end, LWJ wifes up WWX and they eat everyone in the ship. It had a horroresque vibe to it. 13. Hello, my lovely! This is my very first ask, it's a long shot: Is it possible to find such a fic, in which Wei Ying is pregnant with Lan Zhan's baby. And they (the whole clan) are under attack (by another clan, not sure exactly who). Wei Ying wants to carry on fighting with Lan Zhan side by side, but Lan Zhan desperately doesn't want him to, because he's carrying their baby. I don't know how it ends. Okay so I found this fic sometime between 2020-2022 (incomplete at the time) and it was an arranged marriage between Wangxian but Wei Wuxian had to wear the silver mask the whole time for an unknown reason (although it’s heavily hinted Lan Wangji is cursed by something). Lan Wangji is very cold to him during their marriage and then takes Wen Qing as a concubine (although not because he likes her but because he needs her medical skills without anyone asking questions). Wei Wuxian doesn’t know that though and runs off meeting A-Yuan’s parents and living with them for a while. It’s implied that when Lan Wangji finds him he think Wei Wuxian fathered A-Yuan with the mother (he didn’t) which Wen Chao mocks him about during the Indoctrination. They kiss in the Xuanwu Cave and LWJ calls WWX ‘airen’. But then his chest starts hurting and he calls out for Wen Qing - WWX misunderstands.

WWX sends a baby A-Yuan and Jingyi to Cloud Recesses before the Sunshot Campaign to keep them safe and has them adopted under the Lan Family name.

Later on WQ mentions something about a “vine” to do with LWJ’s curse. After WWX does demonic cultivation, the Qishan Wens are taken in by Cloud Recesses as long as WWX agrees to have the resentful energy purified. WWX knows that this will kill him since the resentful energy is keeping his Burial Mounds’ wounds from reopening but goes through with it because he wants the Wens to be safe and he thinks Cloud Recesses want him dead anyway. His mask falls off mid-cleansing and he collapses coughing blood.

When he wakes up, the Jiang family including Madame Yu are pissed at Cloud Recesses for nearly killing him and have begun divorce proceedings. WWX doesn’t want to get divorced by LWJ does. But because A-Yuan and Jingyi are on the Lan family register WWX is furious he can’t take them with him.

The fic hadn’t updated after that the last time I read it. I read it before 2023 so it would have been started before then. It was implied LWJ did love WAX but because of some curses (that weren’t fully disclosed at that point) he couldn’t commit to their relationship.

15. Looking for a fic I read pre-2023. Complete.

Lan Wangji hears that the Lan elders are trying to arrange a marriage for him but then he suddenly turns into a fox. Everyone thinks he’s cursed because (I think his mother) tells everyone it can only be broken when finds his true love.

So the Lan Clan calls in various people but no one seems to be able to break it. The WWX shows up and immediately starts teasing Fox!ji. He works out immediately that LWJ isn’t cursed, he’s a fox shifter and is refusing to turn back to avoid having to get married. LWJ later finds out that WWX is also a fox shifter after chasing an unknown black fox away.

LXC sees the two foxes and then panics because what if LWJ’s true love is a fox. So he starts trying to shove human Wei Wuxian at LWJ because he’s the only person he’s seen Fox!Ji tolerate.

LWJ does eventually turn back into a human for WWX and I’m pretty sure they banged afterwards. LXC was thrilled when he saw LWJ back to being a human.

When Lan Qiren takes too long, WWX ends up teaching them by taking them to practice wind (I think) talismans by having a snowball fight. When Lan Qiren realises that WWX has been teaching the students the whole time he freaks out but when he sees WWX help the youngest kid he decides to offer WWX a permanent job as a teacher.

I read a fic back in like 2021 and for the life of me I can’t seem to find it again. Its wasn’t complete at the time so I’d love to know if it is now!

It’s post canon and Wangxian are living at Cloud Recesses happily. Then someone breaks into WWX’s workshop - where the Lan Clan gave him permission to work on some of his stuff - but nothing seems to have been taken. WWX is quite touched that even Lan Qiren seems pretty upset on his behalf. There’s a few more weird incidents including WWX finding a paper left for him that’s dosed with some kind of drug (he catches it though and doesn’t get affected).

Later on, he’s talking to LXC (I think) and gets a brief glimpse of a financial report and finds out that all of his inventions are so good that he essentially brought in a fortune to the Lan Clan that could even rival the Jin Clan by this point.

WWX realises that someone might be targeting him rather than his work so he decides to disguise himself as a Lan disciple and investigate. His disguise is so good that when he leaves the jingshi, Lan Sizhui briefly points a sword at him because he doesn’t recognise him for a moment. WWX then goes to one of LWJ’s meetings/classes (can’t remember exactly what) and after everyone leaves, the two get very flirty with one another. Someone walks in and then quickly leaves but it’s implied that they don’t recognise WWX either.

Because then a rumour seems to go around that LWJ is secretly seeing another disciple. WWX did bump into someone while disguised who was acting very weird but didn’t confirm whether or not that was who was after him.

I’d love to find this fic again!

Hey y'all, @creatingblackcharacters has created a challenge for Black History Month and I thought I'd share my entry. I'd like to tag @topazadine @illarian-rambling @mx-ryder and @spideronthesun for the challenge as well!

Uthyr is the main character of my current WIP: The Name, Witch. His is a story of healing, of putting down shame, and of being true to the spirit of what created you, no matter how the world wants you to bend. This is a scene that takes place about 10 years before we meet him in this same garden. Uthyr's greatest victory is always against despair. Uthyr's strength is in his conviction to himself, the culture and virtues that were passed onto him, and his love for the world around him. In my writing, I want my Black audience to see their own resilience in Uthyr. I want to highlight Black men in roles that are softer, but no less strong.

I also sincerely hope that this book can be a long shout out to my Black autistic sibs who are also obsessed with bugs, amphibians, and/or reptiles. I gave my hyperfixation to Uthyr, and I hope you feel seen with it as well. As I said in the comments to a very needed check, joy is just as important as resiliency, and I hope you find as much happiness as Uthyr does in with cold little buddies!

The hydrangea bush to the north of his house was the first thing Uthyr put into the soil in his soon-to-be garden. An old witch tradition. The color of the flowers changed with the humors of the soil. Uthyr didn’t know which color he hoped for, just that it grew to be strong. He hoped the plant would grant him the same blessing.

The last thirty-some years of Uthyr’s life had left behind the cooled pyres of his family, and the last two since the death of his mother had left him adrift. The first, a long year where he’d traveled to nowhere in particular, stayed where he found place to stay, and searched desperately for a purpose. At the end of that long year, he realized, exuberantly, there was none. No end to rush to, no greater deed to be done. He would not be rewarded for suffering, would not reach some peak where it became all worth it. He would not find a purpose, nor would he make his own. He would, instead, simply live. Live brightly, now. Live fearlessly, now. He didn't know where he would go, but he knew where he would start.

He practiced his healing for the first time since his father died. A young girl had taken a fall in the small town in which he was staying. He'd gone to her without a thought, placed his hands around the break, and reached out where he knew the magic still laid. The feel of bone knitting beneath his fingers nearly had him in tears. He could hear his father’s warm, heavy voice as he worked:

Bone remembers its home, just not the way back. Remind it gently, and its journey will be painless.

The little girl hadn’t even cried. He’d pulled a dandelion seed that had stuck itself on his cloak and grew it into a miniature sun before placing it behind her ear for bravery. The Sun Goddess rarely answered his beckons for fire, and his stubbornness never won out over the Stone’s, but neither skill brought about the smiles of gratitude he’d seen in all his time healing. He wished it hadn’t taken him so long to appreciate that part of himself, that part of his father’s influence.

Then, after a long while of fighting with his own head, he finally chose himself. Two weeks in a temple to the God of the Golden Moon saw him leaving behind the word “daughter,” to be replaced with a name that held responsibility to no one but himself. Uthyr of the Asphodels, First of His Name. His mother’s now held nothing a burden of failure on his shoulders. He could have been better for her. Should have been better. But he could not make the dead proud, so he cast off the guilt. It no longer served either of them. 

He changed his hair. Spent a long day removing neat rows of braids from his head, combing and washing then rolling his hair like he’d seen his uncle do so many times. At the end of it all, he had sore arms and a deep satisfaction. The start of those locs still stuck oddly from his head in their awkward stage.

“Ugly stage,” his mother used to tease Uncle Callum when they recounted stories of their youth. His uncle would always raise an eyebrow and inform her in no uncertain terms that he’d never been ugly a day in his life. Uthyr planted snapdragons by his window for them both; their favorites. Yellow for his mom. Purple for his uncle. The seeds had been expensive for the paltry savings he’d kept from his brief stint of odd-job healing around the surrounding towns, but the memory of the two exchanging plants on their shared birthday had Uthyr lightening his coin purse without a second thought.

He continued with a few more plots around his house. A smattering of pansies for color, some herbs for healing, then some more for cooking… 

A single row of daffodils by his doorway. For his father. His birthday would be soon. Uthyr would cut one and light a candle. Pray the Death God pass on his love.

I’m alright, he’d tell his father. It’s hard and I’m tired, but it’s alright. I’ve got good soil under my feet and good hands to dig.

The anemones he planted on the shaded side of his house were for himself, though. They were delicate things, but right now so was his heart and that needed just as much care. He’d stay strong for them and they’d do the same for him. Water and sunlight. The start, his uncle would say, to any life worth living. 

And hope, Uthyr thought. Half of it was always hope.

When Uthyr finished for the day the sun was drawing long shadows across the forest floor. All but his pansies would not see color or flower for a long while, but as Uthyr dusted soil off the dark skin of his hands and forearms, he could already see the future it held. He would get some roses. Maybe not this year. He needed to plant his vegetable garden first. Maybe splurge on a fruit sapling. Tonight he would sit in his mostly empty home, cook a small pot of soup with ingredients from a garden that wasn’t his, and plan recipes for when his own produce grew. But as for now, he felt the waking breath of spring on his face, the softness of the grass under his legs as he dug his toes into the cool earth below him. 

A tentative peace was forming in his chest, walking haltingly like a newly born fawn. He’d found a creek not far from where he sat. He wondered if the tadpoles had yet grown legs.

And now, my excited rambling: the title of the poem before the cut is Notes On Waiting for the Dog to Find the Perfect Place to Take a Shit While Morning Cuts Through the Sky, Fresh From Another Darkness, which is quite possibly one of Abdurraqib's best titles and also a wonderful poem. I saw When I Say Loving Me Is Like Being a Chicago Bulls Fan posted on facebook at one point and I've been in love with his poetry since. The way he weaves pain and hope with his anger and his love in a way that criticizes a society that doesn't value himself or people like him, while celebrating his identity is both masterful and cutting. Listen to the man and buy his books! His essay collection, A Little Devil in America: In Praise of Black Performance is going to be my read for my essay collection square for the 2025 book bingo, and I'm really excited to finally get to it!

Yeah sure we’ve all binged a long fic, but have you ever read a WIP and followed someone’s life?

Tidbits of information - (“I graduated today!”) - and small joys (“It’s my birthday!”) and you get to be there to say “This chapter made me cry, happy birthday, thank you for gifting us this”.

I remember reading this fic of someone at the end of high school, older than me then. They seemed infinitely wise, spoke of their future career and getting into the college they wanted. I remember them posting on days they felt like nothing could bring them down - and on days the whole world did and it’s the aftermath of a hospital visit. Cancer, I think it was, their father. I got to the end of the story, I know their father was fine, but also they got to finish their WIP. I graduated three years later than them, still dutifully wrote thank you notes in every comment. I wonder if they remember me, or just the collective of people reading the story as it updates.

Four years ago I was into my first year of university, my first year of figuring out being out in public spaces. I made excuses as to why my name didn’t match my paperwork and read a fic on the train, the same five chapters over and over again for the next years as I thought the story abandoned. It updated this week after such a long hiatus, I left another thank you comment.

There’s an author I love, they update their stories like a clockwork. When they don’t, I check their blog, just to see if their doing alright, not because I feel like they owe me, just to ensure whether I better get out my laptop to write that really detailed university level essay chapter analysis to get them smiling when their day sucked.

And then, once, when I was 17, I read a fic that hadn’t updated in over a decade. I wasn’t even in primary school when it started posting. On the last chapter, I left a comment that, in retrospect, was horribly rambly and most likely full of grammar mistakes. The author replied and though I couldn’t see their face, I thought of them crying. They were married now, had children, and hadn’t thought about this fic in years. They went through their files again, found another half written chapter and an outline. I got two new chapters to read that year.

And then, recently, someone told me they got back into writing original fiction because of my comments. I get to read nearly weekly chapters.

I love binge reading a finished fic, but nothing is ever going to top the feeling of anticipation of waiting for a chapter, the pure joy when someone tells you I was done with this, but you made me think of it again, so this is for you.

Anyway, I think we should romanticize reading WIPs more, growing up alongside the authors writing the stories we love.

10 Tips for New Stray Kids Fanfic Writers

Do you ever sit there staring at your Stray Kids draft and think:

“Is this even good?” “What if no one reads it?” “How the heck do I post fics on Tumblr anyway??”

But the truth is—everyone starts somewhere, and Tumblr’s full of people who do want to read what you’re writing (yes, even that fluff fic where Chan is your barista).

This guide is for you—the new fic writer, the quiet reader finally ready to post, the person overthinking everything.

Tip 1: Set up your space

You don’t need a fancy theme or 10k followers. But having a cozy blog setup helps people find and follow your work.

Pick a username you like (bonus if it hints at SKZ or writing).

In your bio, mention your fics, SKZ biases, and any ships or genres you focus on.

Pin a post!!! Link your intro, a masterlist, or a WIP schedule—your call. The most important thing is that this stays ORGANIZED. If people cannot find your fics , they wont be able to read them.

Tip 2: Use tags like your fic depends on it (because it does)

Tags = Tumblr SEO. The first 20 matter most.

Here’s how to tag smart:

Fandom: #stray kids, #skz, #stray kids fanfic

Member: #han jisung, #bang chan, etc.

Ship (if any): #hyunlix, #minchan, etc.

Genre/tropes: #fluff, #angst, #hurt comfort, #roommates au

Format: #oneshot, #smau, #drabble, #fic series

This helps the right readers find your stuff!

🛑 Important: Don’t tag members, ships, or tropes that aren’t in your fic just for reach. That’s called false tagging, and it breaks trust with readers. Someone clicking #seungmin isn’t expecting a Jeongin x reader fic with zero Seungmin content 😅

Keep your tags accurate and relevant—it builds a loyal reader base way faster than overtagging ever will.

Tip 3: Use the “Read More” feature

If your fic is more than a few paragraphs, add a Read More break (the little scissors ✂️ in the editor). It keeps dashboards clean and your post looking tidy.

Bonus: You can add a fun header, a quote, or tags before the cut to hook readers in!

Tip 4: Make a Masterlist (even if you only have 1 fic)

It’s your fic menu! This is where people will go to read your work. Be proud of it!! List your stories by member, ship, or type. Add emojis for ✨aesthetic✨. Update it as you go.

Even if you’ve only posted once—put it on there. You’re a writer now. 🫶

Tip 5: Engage with other SKZ fic writers

Tumblr isn’t a one-way street. You’ll build a reader base faster (and have more fun!) if you:

Reblog others’ fics and leave comments on their work.

Answer asks. Send asks.

Join writing events or tag games.

Hype up your mutuals!!

The stray kids community is super supportive—don’t be shy.

Tip 6: Use content warnings + proper tags

Keep your readers safe and informed by tagging:

Sensitive themes: #tw abuse, #death, #mental health

NSFW: Always tag it clearly, and don’t forget the 18+ warning

Major spoilers: if it’s plot heavy, give a heads up

It’s respectful and helps build trust.

Tip 7 : Reminder: Notes ≠ Worth

Got 7 notes on your fic? That’s seven whole people who took the time to read your words. That’s a small group reading circle. Intimate. Intentional. Beautiful.

20 notes? That’s a classroom full of people listening to the story you created.

100 notes? You just filled a conference room. Imagine standing at the front, reading your fic out loud to everyone in that space.

500+ notes? That’s a theater audience. All eyes on you. Applauding your imagination.

No matter the number, your story reached someone. That matters.

✨ Some fics blow up overnight. Some quietly change someone’s whole day. Both are real impact.

Write because you love it. Write because it’s in you. Write for the one person who needed that exact scene, line, or character—and found it in your words.

Tip 8 : Make your blog feel you

Tumblr loves writers who:

Share WIP snippets or headcanons

Post silly tag games

Talk about writing struggles (we all relate)

Make moodboards or fic memes

People connect with your words and your personality. Let that shine.

Tip 9: Start small—and keep it fun

You don’t need to drop a 10k word masterpiece your first time out. Write a drabble. A blurb. A tiny scene that makes you smile.

Low-pressure writing builds consistency and helps you find your voice. The best part? Those small fics often get the most love because they’re easy to read and reblog.

Tip 10: Reblog. Your. Own. Fic.

Tumblr moves fast. Your post can get buried in hours. So reblog it! More than once. With:

A different teaser line

A fun tag (like #if you like pain, read this)

A “thank you” or “I can’t believe I wrote this” moment

It’s not annoying. It’s smart. People are in different time zones and scroll at different hours. Let your fic breathe.

I've been trying to nail down the mixed feelings, and this is what I've got so far:

I KNOW it's good, other people already told me they liked it!! no, I'm not gonna throw out the whole story because of one mediocre reception, SHUT UP IMPOSTER SYNDROME AND GET BACK IN THE WRITING TRENCHES.

it will encourage engagement both in reacting to specific posts and in asking for more: yes it does, and WAY more people consistently (and more gratifyingly!) engage with me since I've made a habit of posting this way, especially when they're especially interested in a specific WIP over my other ones, and a lot of people just seem to be more engaged and invested in my writing in general. or at least more willing to tell me that they are, if nothing else, haha.

it will be more chances for people to be intrigued and want to read the whole fic: yes it will, and if you post larger scenes and tag them, then more people are likelier to find you/your writing than would if you only post one chapter in the tags however often you update those. also, if you have a fic-specific WIP tag that you link to, it's very easy for people who are just discovering the WIP to go back and catch up all at once ( or for people who aren't into it to blacklist, if that's a concern, as opposed to them feeling like they have to unfollow/block you ).

what if I do it and nobody cares? good news: they probably won't care! at least to start. that's just kinda how it is, to start. I get a lot of engagement because I am REAL prolific and do my best to be responsive, plus I've been updating this blog and in this specific fandom pretty consistently for over a year, and also have also been in online fandom spaces on and off for, like, legit twenty-five years at this point. so I am just very used to being in these spaces, and I also have readers who've followed me for a decade+ or even since I was an actual literal TEENAGER in at least a couple cases, so like, they're already kinda invested in my writing, haha. there are people following this blog who not only read my Inu-Yasha Miroku/Sesshoumaru fanfic back in the day in the Pit of Voles but also still REMEMBER reading my Inu-Yasha Miroku/Sesshoumaru fanfic back in the day in the Pit of Voles, to say nothing of everyone who found me through AtLA or the MCU or the Witcher ( or so, so much Star Wars meta, the Star Wars meta has also definitely been a thing ). also I update my blog pretty consistently and I do writing memes that reward the people who play with me with new content and more progress in their fave WIPs, and also they're technically "voting" for what they wanna see more of, so that also adds to them feeling engaged/invested and me feeling motivated/energized, because they feel like they've affected the growth and progress of the story ( which they have ) and I feel like they're enjoying the story and genuinely appreciate it ( which they do! ). so everyone wins!

I am in fact giving you explicit PERMISSION to do what you want.

what do I do if/when I change something I've written and already posted a snippet of?: then you've changed something! if it's a major change, you can repost the updated scene or mention you're making a change in a separate post or just say there's been a significant change when you post the chapter and therefore people who've already read the WIP posts might wanna reread it, but personally I change and tweak and fiddle with stuff I've already posted all the time. usually it's just bits of phrasing or formatting or adding in little details to round stuff out or correct mistakes, or to clarify things that confused people or that I forgot about, but sometimes it's adding multiple paragraphs or even additional little scenes. it's absolutely a thing I do and a thing that I consider fair play. you're literally posting "work-in-progress" excerpts, it is in the NAME that stuff might/will change or be adjusted. shit, if you feel like it, throw the whole story out and start over with a 2.0 WIP tag!! art is meant to be fucked with!!!!

Should I make yet another sideblog?: the past is gone! you are free!! it's a writing blog that is for your writing and you can write whatever you want on it. the rules are made up and the points don't matter!! if you want a WIP blog too, you can totally start a WIP blog too, but you also don't have to feel obligated to bloat your sideblog collection or to have to go to all the effort of building up a brand-new following for a brand-new blog when there's already people who followed another blog of yours specifically for your writing. it's your writing blog. it's for your writing. write on it how you please!! if you're SUPER-concerned about the change, include a specific tag on all your WIP snippets that people can just blacklist if they only wanna see your full finished updates. for example I use "rintalk" so people can skip my random talky posts/asks if they wanna but also won't accidentally be filtering out anything they DO wanna see from anyone else on their dash; they can specifically avoid just mine. so like, maybe "octo WIPs" or "nb WIPs" or just whatever you're into would work for you, or just something like that.

unrelated to your for/against: posting stuff like this is not an approach that'll give everyone the same results or even WORK for everyone, obviously, but it works for me because again, I'm prolific, responsive, tend to follow my readers' interests, and have been doing this a lonnnggggg time and have built up an audience both from past fandoms and in specifically DC fandom. and also I'm super, super ADHD. definitely also because of the ADHD. there is . . . there is just so much ADHD lol.

but yeah, like, I'm pretty sure I've been updating pretty consistently for the past . . . what, year or so of DC-hyperfixation? something like that?? I've also published over 300k to AO3 in that time and GOD knows how much more word count I've put up on Tumblr, so like . . . tl;dr, I absolutely think you should give it a try and see if it works for you/if you like it, I just also wanna include the caveat that you shouldn't be discouraged if you don't get an immediate return on or big response to said try. like, I dunno what your followers are like or how much they talk to you, obvi, but I personally had to kind of . . . cultivate, basically? I had to cultivate the communication and the back-and-forth, it didn't just happen immediately. we have cultivated, all of us here, hahaha.

for actual practical excerpt-posting advice, generally speaking, the best start I've found for starting out with posting a WIP as you write it is to take, like, the starting scene of the fic/chapter up until either a narratively-interesting/satisfying end point ( or better yet, a cliffhanger ) and post that as a WIP excerpt in the relevant tags. then you're likelier to introduce the story to new people and bring them by your blog to see more, and they'll come in both primed for and LOOKING for WIP excerpts. then, you know, you can post subsequent scenes or bits in chronological order, ideally. personally when I do WIP Wednesday or anything like that, I don't tag little posts like those in the main tags, just with a WIP tag specific to their story ( which, like, obvi you know I have those, haha, I know you've been around MORE than long enough and even if you hadn't pretty sure I already mentioned them somewhere up there anyway, I'm just being thorough ), but anything that's pushing 400-500 words or longer gets fully tagged with ships/characters/fandom/etc and gets chrono/non-chrono links included in the post and then sent out into the world as my lil' story ambassador, haha. just, you know, use a cut or at least a "long post" tag if it's much longer than that, because like, Tumblr manners and all, hah.

is there an Archive for Vampire sans comica and lore (the one that also was in old Abyss team) ?

I haven’t yet gotten around to making any Google Docs, but I made this small {wip} masterpost here, but there’s unfortunately more about V & Faris in the Valiant Souls comics than their own comics, and I have no idea if there even is any of their own comics—anything besides some text posts describing the idea and concept behind their story.

There’s also the #canon vampire sans tag on my blog, where I’m trying to reblog everything about V & Faris I can from their creator, creators friends, Valiant Souls and then eventually Sans Hazard.

It seems like V & Faris’ creator, hammie-heart, deleted a lot of things about them—as a lot of the things I found from the creator themself was through finding reblogs of their posts on Google. And lot of Faris content seemed to be mainly made by other creators in Valiant Souls project, such as superyoumna.

I do know that V shows up in the Sans Hazard comics alongside Color, Dream, Ink, Abyss, and I believe Mecha, etc, though. I haven’t fully read the whole thing yet.

I’m not sure how exactly “canon” both Sans Hazard or Valiant Souls is to either V or Faris, though.

Good thing these two have read enough stories to know how things go next!

Created with who is quite possibly the best co-writer of all time, the Chrysalis exists as a personal project of @ohagiwrites and mine. It has slowly been put through many different developments for just over a year now, and as of the time I’m writing this, it’s officially made it through its first arc. The story is one I’m proud to say I’m very pleased with, and hopefully one that you, the reader, will learn to enjoy too.

With a large cast of diverse characters and an intricately designed dystopian universe, this modern-fantasy thriller web novel is, at its core, all about growth. With a myriad of storylines all connecting throughout grief, humanity, and breaking out of the learned nature of those around us, the story blends its fantastical, superhero premise with real, emotionally-driven storylines on identity, queerness, and broken relationships.

With themes of grief, oppression, corruption, brotherhood, freedom, vengeance, control, war, fascism, monstrosity, and loss of innocence surrounding the whole story, it truly encapsulates the feeling of growing up in such a complex and terrifying time.

Putrid Oxygen

Just remembered this WIP existed and managed to find it again, could've sworn I had already posted it to this blog but couldn't find it, then again, Tumblr search feature is shit. Anyways, this is from a Subnautica AU that I mentioned years ago, and still have yet to finish any fics about, this scene taking place in the latter half of the storyline.

Oxygen.

Barely conscious, he was just barely aware of the sudden exposure to air, instead of the water that had begun to fill his body. And so, he convulsed, violently becoming conscious once more as he yanked off his mask desperately.

The air was acrid and humid, in a way that almost choked his lungs as much as the seawater he spewed out. Still, it was breathable, and he greedily sucked it in as he tried to steady himself on the uneven ground.

Stars swam in his vision as his breaths eventually slowed, still feeling dizzy and delirious. It was hot, very hot, a great heat emanating from somewhere nearby. Thankfully it wasn’t hot enough to hurt, but enough to sap the energy out of him, as he found himself slumping against the walls.

Squishy. Why were they squishy?

Wherever he was, it was pitch black, the floors and walls soft and uneven. And now that his breathing had calmed down, he could hear two sounds he had dismissed as his own. A thumping heartbeat, and the muffled whooshing of breaths.

His mind scrambled for an answer, as he tried to remember where he’d last been before he'd blacked out.

He'd been in the lava zone, abandoning his cyclops as it was being destroyed. He'd had nowhere left to go, his oxygen depleting fast, and the sea dragon-

With a sharp gasp, a horrid realization struck him, as his hands scrambled to his belt in search of his flashlight, nearly dropping it before he clicked it on.

The walls were fleshy, shades of pink and red, the surface wrinkled and shifting in a gentle wave-like motion. This time, the flashlight slipped from his grasp, splashing into the puddle of liquid pooled around him.

“No, no no no no no please no…”

He was in the leviathan's stomach. The sea dragon had swallowed him whole.

Ryley curled in on himself as he started to cry, the horror of his situation hitting him hard.

He’d wished he drowned instead of waking up. Now he was going to die painfully, with stomach acid slowly burning him away.

hi! long time so see!! how are you all? i feel like there’s some stuff we should chat about, don’t you?

let’s start with the elephant in the room, where did i go? well truth be told, i logged out and when i went to come back it was gone!

i was actively going through my blog and revamping everything. that was 100% what i was doing. i wasn’t hiding from anyone, i wasn’t hiding bad behavior. i was rebranding my blog.

now, let’s jump into the drama filled bullshit my name seems to be floating in right now.

i was in a discord group, ran by another blog where she posted updates on her wip’s and so on and so forth. well, there was a good group in there. i liked most of the people (i’ll get into that soon!). so a group of us, said fuck it we ball, and all bought tickets to rockville.

we all decided to spilt an airbnb. no biggie right. Gabi paid for it. I’ll be honest, she put it on her credit card (as far as i am aware, that is what she had told us.) and we’d pay her when we could. payments in chunks, or the whole lump sum.

i hadn’t paid yet. at that point, i had family discussing going also, so i informed the whole group chat that, and if he had chosen to go, i wouldn’t stay at the bnb. (cause id rather stay with family. someone who knew me, i knew them ya know?) no biggie, there were other girls who very easily could take my spot in that airbnb.

which is what kinda happened, i moved. i pulled out, i sold my ticket. no one seemed to be mad.

let me say this, i paid for my ticket in whole. my own money.

so, i have no proof, however from word of mouth, screenshots of a group chat i was in were shared.

tldr, i was talking shit. with 2 friends, who were also talking shit, about some of the girls we were gonna be going with.

which yeah, be upset. i understand. your feelings are valid, especially in that.

let’s remember, they were talking shit too. and it’s very clear on their current blogs, they still are btw.

which leads me into my next point.

1) i don’t send anyone hate, ive never sent them hate. quite honestly i wish them all the well in the world and i hope they have a fabulous time at these festivals. i feel like i should add, my other blog where i do post my wip’s are blocked from a handful of accounts. they have me blocked, i have them blocked. every blog i have (which this makes 2) @as-above-so-below1000 knows about and sees.

2) i don’t and have never stolen anything i’ve written. you can ask @as-above-so-below1000 who has seen my google docs! and i don’t appreciate that kinda rumor being spread, no one wants to hear that kinda rumor. no one. and if there was anyone who ever had an issue with what i posted, please reach out. let’s chat it out.

3) i’ve never sent myself anon hate, i feel like that should be self explanatory but unfortunately that’s a narrative going around.

4) if my blog wasn’t a safe space for you, i’m sorry. i never wanted that to happen. and if there was ever a time you felt my actions were not acceptable, i take full accountability because sometimes i did get heated and upset and post before thinking.

5) i will not ever apologize for calling out the bad behavior i had prior. i stand by the fact writing SA, not tagging it, blocking the person who kindly said this isn’t okay, and then never saying anything is wrong.

it’s middle of April guys, i left in January. it’s time to let things go. truthfully i am ready to let things be done. it is what it is. i want things to be done, this will be all im saying.

however i cant sit back and see my name on things i have no doing in.

i am not coming back, quite honestly these space feels very unsafe and kinda toxic and especially now. but please know, i never meant to leave. i wasn’t running away, there’s been so many of my old mutuals and followers who have found me and still interact and for you all, thank you.

My New Year Goals and Wishes + My Thanks

2025 is finally here and y'know what's crazy? There's a 70% chance I have either bronchitis or pneumonia. I'm actually tweaking out sooo badly rn-

That aside, 2024 had many ups and downs for me, but one of the best things that came out of it was this platform! Making Tumblr my main writing platform was def one of the best decisions I made this year, and to that, I wished to express my thanks to everyone who's made this decision such a great one!

Ya'll- Omgosh where do I begin?

You guys made me so much more confident in myself! Joining Tumblr, at first, made me feel a bit overwhelmed. I had no friends on here aside from ivory, I knew nothing about Tumblr besides it being a blogging platform where people happen to write fanfics, and overall I just felt isolated and alone. Furhtermore, irl I had, and still have no one to really talk about fanfics with. I can't ramble on about my book ideas or my wips or talk about writing tips without someone growing bored of me and, ngl, I thought the same would apply here.

To be honest, as wonderful as my Wattpad days were at a time, my relationship with my followers/community was pretty rigid. I was pretty standoffish, and while I did have mutuals, it was nothing compared to my moots on here! Like, being on here and talking with my other writing moots is such a comforting thing and it's just UGHHH YA'LL ARE THE BEST AND I COULD LITERALLY MAKE A WHOLE POST ON HOW AMAZING YA'LL ARE!!

( I especially want to thank @nursedflowers! You are by far one of my favorite people to interact with on this app! Happening across your blog and befriending you by chance was the luckiest thing that ever happened to me and I hope our friendship can continue to blossom into an even more beautiful flower <3 )

Even though I know nothing about ya'll, you guys are hands down one of the most positive things on this app to me! Like, literally my favorite part of logging into Tumblr is checking my notifs and seeing an inbox from one of ya'll whether it's a request or some simple expression of praise! Now onto my goals-

Every year I do this. I always love setting goals ( reasonable and unrealistic ) as it helps keep me motivated. In the past, a lot of goals I set weren't really centered around me and more so meant to appease my following, but this year I want to be a bit different. I wish to be a bit more selfish online if that makes sense. That said, here's my top five goals I wish to accomplish in these 365 days!

⇻ Paradise ( Ch. 5 - 10 )

Starting off with my pride and joy.

As I've said one hundred times already, this fanfic means a lot to me and I wish for my dreams for it to become a reality! I want to see all the moments, all the characters, all the developments and story arcs that replay in my brain play out on internet paper and I want to see your comments and reposts and likes supporting it! That said, my main goal for the year is to, at the very least, get five more chapters out! While my overall goal is to completely wipe out the Unwavering Resolve Arc ( Basically season 1 of demon slayer ), I think knocking out two of the mini arcs is much more reasonable for me to achieve! :)

⇻ Our Home ( Getting past the starting point )

While this story was originally created as a scapegoat to put off the publication of Paradise, I do yearn to see it develop as it's own story! AssClass holds a special place in my heart and though the fandom is pretty dead on here, I wish to indulge myself regardless. I don't have a specific goal for it like Paradise, but if anything, I at least wish to post the next chapter or two before the end of the year! :D

⇻ Work on other long-term fanfics ( KNY, Danganronpa, and Genshin Impact )

Over the years, I've had many ideas, and while many didn't stick enough to full on write about like Paradise or Our Home, there are a few that did that I just never wrote about because either my following didn't like my ideas, I prioritized completing requests over it, or I simply convinced myself that my currently published stuff is far more important to work on.

I have three stories in mind that have stuck with me, and while they still remain nameless, their plots are more or less fleshed out to a degree.

The first one is an enemies to lovers Muichiro x reader fanfiction that follows an original au I thought of. I very briefly talked about the idea on Wattpad a few years back and it just like..stayed in my head so here's the general synopsis of it..

Imagine you're the prince/princess/royal child of your kingdom, assigned a task to kill your fiancé after his coronation and become their ruler. You're not really distraught by this. After all, your fiancé was of the rivaling kingdom, the one that killed your beloved father and turned your kingdom into the laughing stock of the Eleven Kingdoms of Kimetsu. In your opinion, he had it comin' to him...

The only problem with this is, the young fourteen year old, your fiancé and soon-to-be king, is hopelessly smitten for you. How annoying..

Just as it implies, the story revolves around a world that's divided. From the simplistic layout I thought of, 50% would be Muzan's while the other 50% would be Ubuyashiki's with Muzan's half being more tyrannical compared to Ubuyashiki ( to play back on the original contrasts they have in KNY ).

In this au, the Hashira ( and you ) are royalty who own a small percentage of Ubuyashiki's 50%. ( While the Twelve Moon live amongst Muzan's 50% ) Each Hashira + you have their own kingdoms with there own customs & rules, powers, etc.

You and Muichiro's kingdom butt heads, your kingdom loses, and you have no choice but to brood over the loss of your father and the land lost to war for the years to come.

Years later, you receive a proposal from the Mist Kingdom. Essentially, they wish to prevent a repeat of a war between your two kingdoms and decided to mend your relationship through the marriage of you and the current king. Your family accepts the proposal, though not for the same means of peace, but because of a conniving plan to take revenge.

The plan itself is a simple one; marry the current king, kill him afterwards, and ascend to the position of ruler. ( In Muichiro's kingdom, when a monarch dies, the partner of the monarch would become ruler if they're alive. ) You initially go in with no remorse, believing that the current ruler was in his 40s and had direct dealings in your father's death only to find out that, one, the king is dead, two, the one your marry is younger than you by two years and isn't officially the king yet, and three, he's genuinely a good person who had nothing to do with your father's death and loves you with all his being.

The second one has been talked about on my blog before so I won't yap too much about it but it's a Danganronpa x Demon Slayer au fic that takes the plot of all the Danganronpa games and the characters of Demon Slayer. Also, for clarification..

It will be a Y/n/reader insert

Though it'd follow the concept of the Danganronpa games, it won't be a copy and paste of them. The murders, developments, trials, etc. would all be original and unique straight from my noggin.

It won't follow a specific game in particular and would simply take ideas from all four games ( yes, that includes udg )

The third one is a genshin fanfic that follows the male traveler and reader. Essentially it's just the plot of genshin but with you added to it. Ofc, like my Paradise story, I'd give the reader depth ( I refuse to write bobblehead mcs/characters in general ) and their own backstory. In fact, I've long had ideas in mind for them! Some of which being..

They have their own 'Paimon' ( Who used to be a worldwide threat back when in wartime day who was turned into a harmless animal by Celestia because they were too powerful to kill

They're from a nation with similar concepts to Khaenri'ah ( basically a human-ran nation that has a human serving as their god ) but unlike Khaenri'ah, their nation is hated and feared by all of Teyvat

Reader has a twin who currently rules over that nation and is basically insane

The twin also has an animal companion that shares a past with your companion ( they both ran a group of powerful people who were all united under their shared hatred for the gods and Celestia due to past trauma caused by them and wished to exterminate them )

Reader is visionless but adept at the art of many weapons, martial arts, etc. Their companion in their human lifetime was able to wield all the elements as a product of a cruel experiment.

And that's just some of the ideas I had in mind.

With all this said, it'd be impossible for me to write and post all of this in one measly year on top of my other goals hence why my goal is to at least write the full draft of one of them before the year is over or at least the layout of one of them.

⇻ Stepping out of my comfort zone ( Becoming more vocal )

Now this goal is probably the hardest for me to achieve just because of my own anxieties, but I wish to become more vocal in the fanfic community. There are so, SO many fanfics I've come across on this app that I simply liked and blankly reposted without expressing my thoughts on it ( or did neither ) and I wish to change that! My goal is to just express my love for whatever I read loudly and proudly without fear. I also plan to try and make more mutuals/friends! :D

⇻ Fill my blog with more diverse content ( My starting goal )

To be simple and straightforward, this is just a restatement of the reason my blog exist; to get better at writing and grow my anime horizon. I wish to soar to new heights, write about different genres and themes and animes, and overall become a multi-versed writing weapon! >.< Of course, everyone has to start somewhere, and so, my goal is to fill up my archive and write something about my main animes I haven't yet ( so TBHK, Black Butler, Link Click, Sally Face, and HSR ). I think that's a great starting point on my long journey to come, don't you think?

Welcome to the tumblr home of my vampire comics!

I make these for fun, so I don't really put too much pressure on myself to keep up with deadlines and such.

It's chill. It's chaotic. It's not written in the correct order. It's... well...

Low Stakes is my rather light-hearted comic about my queer vampires - I don't really try to restrict myself to any genre, so anything is possible really. Friends have described it as a supernatural slice-of-life, which probably isn't too far off.

Essentially, this is just me thinking about my OCs and documenting it on paper. Bits and pieces of their undead lives.

It all started with an unwanted turning, and it just kinda snowballed from there! :D

For now, the full comic is found mainly on Toyhou.se, but this tumblr will catch up soon enough.
