‘bread is bad for you’ ‘rice is bad for you’ sorry im not subscribing to the idea that staple grains that have been integral to cultures for centuries are evil. i love you carbs
Screaming crying throwing up etc over the fact that D12 weddings involve not only the TOASTING of BREAD but also the SINGING of a SONG. "There's always a traditional song we sing" are you FREAKING kidding me Suzanne?? How am I supposed to be normal about this? Knowing that Peeta's first memory of Katniss had her SINGING a SONG and Katniss' first memory of Peeta had him BURNING BREAD? Aughw maybe I'm losing my mind but what if Suzanne invented the toasting based off of Katniss and Peeta's first moments and not the other way around. What if the entire D12 wedding ceremony was created for the sole purpose of solidifying the idea that Katniss and Peeta have been spiritually married since they were 11. What if it's all always been about them. What then
Yes, yes, Sanji letting Zoro help in the kitchen by letting him chop vegetables because he's good with pointy objects.
BUT. Have you considered?
They live in a world without most electrical appliances. A FUCKTON of physical labor goes into baking (and keep in mind how often Sanji bakes treats for the girls).
Sanji being tired (physically) and not feeling like taking 10 min to whip whipped cream. Being tired (mentally) of Zoro making fun of him for never working out. Sanji saying "fuck it" and just starts putting him to work.
The foccacia dough needs to be kneaded? "Have fun working a sticky mess for 20 minutes, asshole"
Need meringue? "No, STIFF peaks marimo. Don't tell me you're wimping out already"
"Are you even TRYING to flatten that steak Marimo?"
"Yes, it needs whipped cream. YES, I know you just made some yesterday. We need more"
Zoro's shoulders are burning but he's trying SO HARD not to lose face with the cook and meanwhile Sanji is silently losing it at Zoro's shock that cooking can in fact be a workout
Whenever I see them, they brighten up my day and I become happy.
I wanna be close to them and they're all I think about.
I want them inside of me.
I love them so much
They're pieces of Garlic Bread. I'm talking about pieces of Garlic Bread.
this thing is pathetic and weak, but it has a special ability: any fire-based attack BAKES it and make it stronger. like 100% immunity to fire. so it literally doesn’t matter that all its moves do 1 hp of damage, I blasted my way through the fire-themed boss member because none of their pokemon could do shit to my perfect bread dog. they had to sit on their asses and watch me weakly peck away at them bit by bit, with the only possible retaliation being a soothing bake for my idiotic walking baguette
Fan-art because I can draw. And I um.. kinda really love @akanemnon‘s comic…
Kind of a minicomic below…
Please forgive me. I’ve had this in my head forever and just wanted to share my AU meeting yours. That is my Final message. Goodbye. 🫡 jumping in this hole now 🕳️🚶♀️
headcanon that percy and annabeth host a 'Grover Appreciation Day' once a month to remind grover how much they value him. they have a picnic out in the strawberry fields where they talk about their future and grover's role in it. they talk about getting married one day and asking grover to be the best man. they later explore the city and take pictures in place they definitely shouldn't. they go to lunch and cause harmless mayhem like they did when they were younger. they end the evening with a movie marathon of all of grover favorite nature documentaries and fall asleep cuddling together on the couch.
I recently had to do a project in one of my psych classes, and man, I knew that CBT was used for every little thing, but seeing over and over, "do CBT! CBT is the best for every mental illness!" was so jarring. I'm absolutely biased because of my own experiences, but I just don't think it's as universal a treatment model as it's touted.
If you didn't benefit from CBT, it's not because you're lazy or didn't try hard enough or lacked intelligence or foresight into your own needs. Frankly, it's a therapy model that (I think) shouldn't be the only readily-accessible model and among the only therapy models covered by insurance. Some of us should not be treated in a CBT model and that's okay. It's not a sign of poor character or unreasonable demands, and if you don't think it's a model that works for you, then it's your right to express that!
