The New Boys(TM)
Look at them, bask in their angry glory.
So I actually drew them yesterday but didn't end up posting it cause its on a bigger WTTT page. It started out as just Jersey but then I wanted to draw New Mexico as well, and then I somehow had all four of them on the page.
I have the slight headcanon that they are all related in some way, like NJ and NY are brothers and NM is NJ's cousin but not NY's and NH is NY's cousin (or brother idk) but not NJ's. I don't know it seemed like a funny concept to me.
I saw this idea floating around that NM was raised by the NorthEast and I love that idea so like that is probably why NJ and NM are cousins...probably..ya know I hadn't actually thought too hard about it lol

Headcannon
Northeast states are angry because they're cold
New Mexico is angry because he's hot
When New Mexico was a territory to the US, the Northeast took him in, and that is why he has the attitude that he has now
Who is New Hampshire's idea to take him in?
the other two being New York, and New Jersey agreed
And then, after some fighting with the rest of the Northeast, they all decided to take him in
When someone ask him why he's so angry he just says because it's so hot

[”Abortion will soon be banned in 13 states. Here’s which could be next.”
Trigger ban to take effect within a month: Idaho, Utah, Wyoming, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, Kentucky
Likely to ban: Iowa, Indiana, Ohio, West Virginia, Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina
Uncertain: Arizona, Montana, Nebraska, Kansas, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, Florida
Likely to remain legal: Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Colorado, New Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii, Minnesota, Illinois, New York, Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut, Delaware, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine]
[”Thirteen states have trigger laws that will ban abortion now that Roe is overturned. BUT only three of them go into effect immediately: Kentucky, Louisiana, and South Dakota. If you have an appointment in those states, CALL YOUR CLINIC NOW. They can help you go somewhere else.
Idaho, Tennessee, and Texas have trigger laws that go into effect after 30 days. If you have an abortion appointment in those states, DO NOT ASSUMED IT'S CANCELED. Call your clinic now. You may have 30 days left in your state. Arkansas, Mississippi, Missouri, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Utah, Wyoming also have trigger laws but they require a government process step to go into effect. If you have an appointment in those states, DO NOT ASSUME IT'S CANCELED. There may be time. Call your clinic NOW."]
--------
It is still legal to travel to states where abortion is legal. The FDA allows abortion pills to be available by mail, and they are approved for the first 10 weeks of pregnancy. Telemedicine abortions will banned in states where abortion is illegal, but international groups like Aid Access will offer online consultations and mail pills to all states.
Your internet activity can be used against you in court. Delete any period tracking apps and do not disclose your pregnancy online. Learn about internet privacy to keep your abortion private and secure.
National resources for info and access to abortion:
Aid Access: https://aidaccess.org/en/
Find an abortion provider: https://www.abortionfinder.org/
National Abortion Federation: https://prochoice.org/#
NAF Hotline (Monday - Friday 8 am - 7 pm EST, Saturday & Sunday 8 am - 4 pm EST): 1-800-772-9100
Now is the time to donate to your local abortion fund. If you live in a state where abortion is likely to stay legal, clinics expect an influx of people from other states looking for healthcare.

USA: VOTE IN YOUR 2024 PRIMARY ELECTION NOW
Heya folks, if you live in the US, your time to vote is coming up NOW
You may be recommended to vote Uncommitted to show you don't support Biden, but there's a MUCH better alternative! Primary elections determine what presidents will be eligible for ballot during the presidential election!
Get Dr. Cornel West, Ph.D. on your presidential ballots for November by voting for Cornel West (write it specifically as Cornel West, don't include his title) in your primary elections!
Unfamiliar with Dr. Cornel West, Ph.D.? As a TLDR, Dr. Cornel West, Ph.D. is the most vocal presidential candidate speaking explicitly for a free Palestine, not a false, "two-state," solution, and is seeking to significantly improve the quality of life for Americans, and is a real socialist philosopher, unlike poseur Bernie Sanders.
Learn more here: A video essay I made about the 2024 US election, a detailed Tumblr thread I made about it, Dr. Cornel West, Ph.D.'s official presidential platform
Note: Dr. Jill Stein is just a backup - please vote for Dr. Cornel West, Ph.D.. Claudia de la Cruz is not a viable option, as information has come out that her party, the PSL, has a Conservative 5th Column, and has frequent discrimination issues.
Upcoming voting dates:
(Includes US territories and abroad. Listed alphabetically.)
