Okay, so Regulus might be hiding from his friends right now. But it's for a good reason.

Pandora keeps insisting he's overworking himself with studying for their exams, while Regulus keeps insisting he is not. The rest of their friend group has similar mentality as Regulus (meaning exhaustion doesn't matter as long as you pass the exams), but not all of them can avoid Pandora for the entire afternoon, so Regulus left on his own.

Barty is going to kill him for this once he comes back.

In Regulus's defence, leaving the castle, and Pandora's fussing, was integral to his sanity. He also left a note saying he's taking a walk, so his friends wouldn't have to worry. He figured it was a good enough idea.

What might not have been the best idea, though, was to take the walk in the Forbidden forest. Especially not when he's this exhausted.

Because there's no explanation other than complete exhaustion for staring eye to eye with a stag.

They've run into each other over two minutes ago and have been staring at each other the entire time.

"Pandora's right, I need to go to sleep," Regulus mutters, shaking himself out of the trance, before slowly turning around and tripping.

Before he can hit the ground, a strong body supports him.

"Thanks, deer," Regulus whispers, not knowing whether to find his own joke funny or not. Either way, the stag seems amused, so he decides to count it as a win and never tell a soul he actually said this.

As a stag and an overworked, tired teen started their way out of the forest, Regulus mustered enough energy for one last statement: "You know, deer, you feel weirdly like James. You guys have the same aura."

And if Regulus wasn't so exhausted, he would swear he saw the stag blush.

Random marauders headcanons!!

Sirius does not like physical touch unless it's a bro hug with James or Remus is touching him. He can make an exception if someones really upset tho

Regulus is one of those people who smoke then aggressively cough after. He tries to hide it when he smokes with Barty and Evan but he doesn't do great 😭

Barty is either sickly sweet to people (Pandora, Dorcas, Lily, Evan ect) or grabs at every opportunity to insult them (James, Sirius, not as much Remus funnily enough). And if he actually hates them he just punches them

Peter can breakdance strangely well??

Marlene doesn't wear makeup apart from an eyeliner pencil. Not in a pick me kinda way she just genuinely does not know what the fuck to do 😭

Regulus's favourite chocolate is white, and he loves sugar. Sirius is the opposite, he likes dark chocolate and doesnt mind sugar but it's definitely not his favourite

Dorcas is genuinely so sarcastic and funny, but Pandora does not understand sarcasm. My girl is confused

Peter is a silent judger. He will give you dirty looks and side eyes but if you ask what the problem is he's like 'nothingg...'

Mary really suits red and wears mostly that but she buys all her room decorations pink

Lily's favourite flowers are daisies. James always gets her Lilys and she finds it endearing, she doesn't tell him that tho (i love jegulus too don't bite me)

Majority of them smoke but Sirius, Remus and Barty do it most often. Remus doesn't like Sirius doing this. On the contrary, Pandoras never touched a cig in her life

Sirius and Regulus both have French accents, but Sirius's fades over the years. Of course, in some words he has a little French flair.

Pandora lets bugs crawl on her unless it's a hosile one. In that case, she gently scoops it of her and puts it where its safe

Lily and mary lie next to eachother in bed with facemasks on and they just sit in comfortable silence

Dorcas has really long natural nails. Her and Marls are both on the asexual spectrum so she doesn't need to trim them unless it's once in a blue moon.

Marlene sits cross-legged like a child whenever she can (same)

people asigning the marauders we don’t have much canon on random birthdays is so ok with me. i can even get why people make regulus a leo when he is so clearly a capricorn. but i just really hope people out there aren’t making pandora anything other than an aquarius (with a libra moon) cause she’s the Definition of one !
