I think I’m starting to realize the reason why sometimes I just randomly make small groups of posts of me kind of reassuring myself that it’s ok to misinterpret a point and that sometimes some people just have shitty points is probably because I have moral ocd and it manifests the most in telling me I am the most illiterate person ever for not fully understanding random tumblr posts.

like somehow, fortunately, I’m not super affected by reblog bait, but if I see a post I feel iffy about, find a reblog I agree with, then find another reblog from OP clowning on the person who made that reblog I agree with it somehow leads to me thinking “oh wow, me agreeing with that reblog and not the original post probably says something about my actual literacy and intelligence” and sometimes that leads me to kind of spiral and…I’m pretty sure that’s probably not true but I’m not even sure about that so…maybe it is, idk

so, for me, the three most pivotal/important/significant relationships sirius has are with james, regulus and remus, each different and unique in their own way.

and what unfortunately happens a lot that people often downplay two of them to uplift the other. you see that commonly with wolfstar and james, or jegulus and sirius - it's the amatonormativity for me.

and (I'm not saying this is an intention of prongsfoot shippers necessarily) there is sometimes a weird line of thought that 'sirius and james were so close, they cannot have been anything but romantic!', which downplays their platonic relationship and can come off as amatonormative, because *of course there is no non-romantic explanation for their closeness*!

there are multiple explanations for multiple character dynamics, and they are often all equally valid and canonically sound.

idk man it's just. platonic relationships rule, methinks.
