There was no need to, in his astute opinion. Everyone who was not in Gryffindor must lack some intrinsic qualities which would therefore make them utterly intolerable as companions. And the Marauders - all three of them - did not need any intolerable fourths, thank you very much. Remus is a Ravenclaw Prefect and Sirius is finding it harder and harder to admit he isn't obsessed with him

Comment: I love it when a fic asks "what if...?" and this fic was an incredible marauders era AU featuring Remus as a ravenclaw, Lily as a Hufflepuff, lots of oblivious mutual pining from the puppies and a delicious slow(ish) burn, can highly recommend it!!

we do not make enough of the COMEDY it is that james is a fucking deer. like sirius being a dog and peter being a rat are obv tied to their characters but a deer is SO random. and i do not see it in fics enough. take the padfoot tropes and give them to prongs. students baffled because there was a deer walking around the dungeons? remus walking into the dorm and nearly shitting himself because there’s a deer sitting upright in james’ bed. whenever james is in a sticky situation he just goes deer mode and prances away

everybody lives AU Summary: The war is over and Remus is busy running a school for abandoned wizarding youth with his friends. Or rather - they're busy. Remus is trying to figure out who he is after years of his youth were stolen… and how to finally find the words for what he feels for Sirius.

Comment: I loved this fic so much, the whole idea of them opening up a school/centre for wizarding youth is so good, and I love James Potter, the wizarding social worker, but most of all I just love how Remus and Sirius slowly find their way to each other, and how beautifully their relationship develops, just the perfect combination of domestic fluff and a bit of smut.
