A little Scott and Allie from one of my AUs :D

Scott was bored.

Dad was in a meeting and Scott was charged with taking care of Alan back at the hotel.

The rest of his brothers were home on the farm with all the freedom that entailed, while Scott could only stare out at the hazy blue sky through imprisoning glass.

Glass he could eliminate with a flick of a finger, but the integrity of so many things prevented that.

He sighed as he let himself collapse against the bed’s headboard.

“Hey, Scotty, can you do this?”

A comic was shoved in his face. A blink was enough time to school his startled flinch. Nothing terrified Scott more than accidentally injuring any human, much less those he loved.

“Do what, squirt?”

“Don’t call me squirt.”

“My apologies, Alan, what are you referring to?”

“Aww, don’t do that formal stuff either.”

Scott sighed. “What is it?”

“Astroman can fly out into space and deflect meteors! Can you do that?”

“Umm…”

“I bet Johnny could.”

Scott frowned. “I would prefer he didn’t.”

“Why?”

The list of reasons was extensive and well beyond a seven year old’s need to know. “Only in an emergency.” Hell, Scott would lead his three brothers out there himself if that scenario turned up. He had no doubt they would be willing to try.

Alan didn’t know that Scott had dragged John back into the atmosphere several times already.

The fact their father didn’t know was for several very good reasons as well.

Definitely a case of what they didn’t know couldn’t hurt them.

Alan threw a pout. “You guys are so boring.”

“What?!” Scott turned, incredulous, to his little brother now beside him on the bed.

“You’ve got all this cool stuff and you never use it.”

“We do stuff all the time.”

“On the farm. You could be superheroes!” Alan shook the comic in his hands. “You could be so cool! You could save people and stuff.” He flopped back on the bed. “Instead, you are serious and boring.” The pout returned with reinforcements.

Scott’s lips thinned. This was not the first time Alan had suggested this. “You know why.”

The pout turned to a grump. “Yeah. Still sucks.”

A sigh. “Do you have any better ideas?”

“A costume.”

Scott rolled his eyes. “We’ve been through this before.”

“But you’ve never even tried one on!”

Obviously it had never even occurred to Alan that Scott and his brothers wore costumes every day just to stay part of the human crowd.

But right now? With a little brother obviously as bored as Scott was…

“What do you think we could wear?”

Alan’s eyes brightened…

And that was how Scott Tracy, alien stranded on Planet Earth, found himself dressed in the most ridiculous, patched together outfit ever.

His pocket money would pay for the torn-up sheet and curtain. Their father wouldn’t be happy, but the grin on Allie’s face was worth it.

“You need to put your underwear on the outside.”

Scott stared at Alan. “Why?”

“’Cause they all do that.” And he was presented with multiple comic examples until he had to ward them off with a dash to his underwear drawer.

Humans were weird sometimes.

Though the extra pair over his jeans did serve to keep his sheet shirt in place – apparently he needed bare arms and, no, a t-shirt wasn’t good enough. C’mon, Scotty, pleeeease.

Little brothers knew exactly how to push his buttons…no matter the planet of origin.

“And a mask. You need a mask.”

“Why?”

“To hide your secret identity, of course.”

Scott rolled his eyes. He had read a few comics since landing here, seen a few movies…imagination was a major part of their adopted culture. Perhaps if his planet of origin had had more imagination, they might have imagined a way out of blowing themselves up.

Scott froze the thought and threw it aside. He refused to let his memory corrupt his present.

His mother’s eyes…

Focus! Both fathers’ voices echoed through his mind and forced him back to the smiling face in front of him. Milliseconds of distraction, unnoticed by his little human brother, but distraction led to mistakes and mistakes could mean so much more for a world Scott had not evolved in.

Their human father had learnt that one the hard way.

Yet he still trusted Scott to look after his most precious possession.

He wrapped a torn piece of sheet around his eyes and bore a pair of holes in it with a little applied heat. A hand caught the strand of smoke, preventing it from reaching the detectors in the room and a wisp of cold breath neutralised its energy enough so he could brush the particles into a trash can.

Alan was staring at him.

“You are sooo cool!”

Scott couldn’t help but snort in laughter and grin goofily at his little brother. “Okay, okay, so do I look the part now?” He stood shoulders back, hands on hips, cape hanging very much like the curtain it used to be.

The fact he had chosen red underwear to match it showed how much influence this planet had on his thoughts.

“You look great!” Alan was grinning fit to bust something and Scott couldn’t help but do the same. “Oooh, you need one more thing.” And Alan was clambering off the bed and searching through his bag. Paper and markers appeared, and moments later, the shield of Tracy Industries’ logo was pinned to Scott’s chest, but instead of the T for Tracy, there was an S scribbled in its place.

Alan stepped back, his expression fond before he looked up at Scott. “An ‘S’ for Scott, the greatest protector of all time.”

Scott’s eyes widened. “Protector?”

Alan’s expression softened into a smile. “Yeah, cos that’s what you do. You are boring, but you do look after us.”

A swallow. Scott shoved the resultant emotion down and reached out to ruffle Allie’s hair. That resulted in a duck and squirm, followed by a tackle on the bed and it all devolving into a tickle fest.

A one-sided tickle fest because Scott had an unfair advantage he was happy to deploy in this circumstance.

Just a little.

“You suck!” But it was said between giggles.

It was second nature to him to compensate for his strength against Alan, but the calculations performed in his head regarding each movement were double checked regardless, and he could never really, fully let go like he could around Gordon.

A sudden wave of homesickness for the rest of his brothers washed over him and perhaps it was that thought that distracted him enough to overcompensate and throw himself backwards.

The window didn’t stand a chance.

High speed thought had enough time to blind him with consequences as he fell out into free air in the middle of the city.

But it was the absolute terror that ripped out his heart as a scream tore past him at the speed of Earth gravity.

Alan!

He caught his little brother before the thought completed, but it was the cries of people below on the street, the eyes in all the glass windows around him, and the blood on Alan’s face that tipped him into flight.

Literally.

He was halfway to Kansas before he had any thought of doing anything different. His phone was still in the room so far behind him. He had no way to contact anyone.

Alan was shaking in his arms.

Scott did what he knew. He fled home.

The familiarity of the skies around Kansas barely had a chance to comfort him before he was touching down as fast as a human could handle.

His brain was functioning that much at least.

He ran, yelling for his grandmother, Alan clutched to his chest, ‘cape’ billowing behind him.

Virgil met him at the door and there followed a panicked medical assessment, his grandmother and…and…

He ended up out under the tree he and Virgil had declared theirs, hiding in its shade.

He’d hurt his little brother. Oh god, something he had sworn he would never do.

The costume was shed angrily and shredded for the lack of anything else inanimate to destroy.

Down to the molecular level, including his extra underwear.

Especially his extra underwear.

He ended up watching the sun go down, bare-chested with only a ratty pair of jeans keeping his dignity intact.

If he had any left.

“Scott?”

His grandmother’s voice took him by surprise and he was on his feet and backing away before thought.

“Honey?”

“Grandma?” Her name said everything, his fear, his shame, his need to know how badly he had hurt…everyone.

“Allie’s fine, honey. A couple of nicks and scratches. A little windburn. He may hound you for a while. He’s a Tracy, he loves to go fast.” She stepped closer, one of his t-shirts in her hand. “Kyrano is on point. No one was injured. A few photos, but Eos has tracked them down, along with the sensor records of your flight. Your father has already spoken to the hotel manager and the window will be paid for. Everything is okay.” She tilted her head to one side. “Though your brothers may never let you forget that costume. It was a doozy.”

Something snapped inside and Scott folded in on himself. But Grandma was there to catch him. Grandma always was.

He found himself sobbing on her shoulder. “I’m sorry, Grandma.” It was muffled by her shirt.

She muttered something even his superhearing couldn’t decipher, but she held him, her hands rubbing reassurance into his skin. “It’s okay, love, okay. It was an accident.”

The word had him sobbing even more.

“We knew this would happen. We were ready. No damage done.”

He pulled back, eyes wide. “No damage? I could have gotten Allie killed.”

She looked up at him, blue eyes dark in the evening light as she shook her head. “You? Hurt Alan? Not possible.”

“But-“

“You listen to me, young man. I don’t care what planet you are from, we all make mistakes. All mistakes have consequences.” She loomed up at him. “I know you, Scott Tracy.” She placed her hand on the centre of his chest. “I know your heart. There is no way you would let that boy get himself hurt if you had any say. Alan said he had barely fallen before you caught him. He got a fright, yes, but it was little more than a lesson learnt.”

“A lesson?”

“As to why you don’t wear a cape like those characters in his comics. Why we have to wear our underwear on the inside.”

It was a ludicrous line, but the fire in her eyes etched the point into his skin.

She reached up and brushed a stray hair off his forehead. “You and your brothers are here for a reason. You have hearts of gold and humanity probably doesn’t deserve what you can offer us. But you are not perfect and we can’t expect you to be.”

He stared at her, not knowing what to say.

She smiled just a little. “Now, come inside before Virgil vibrates a hole in the floor. That boy was born to worry.” She cupped his cheek a moment before pushing the t-shirt at him. “And your littlest brother is terrified he has screwed everything up. He needs you to knock some sense into him. There are some things that grandmothers just can’t do.”

Scott blinked as she turned and headed back towards the house, obviously expecting him to follow.

He stared a moment, but, pulling the shirt over his head, followed anyway. He had no clue what else to do.

The tackle hug of little brother the moment he walked in the door and the avalanche of whimpered ‘sorry’s were enough to engage more big brother than godawful alien.

He squeezed Alan as tight as he dared, burying his face in his hair. God, ever so precious. One little mistake…

He scrunched up his eyes even tighter.

But a small human hand landed on his shoulder and squeezed gently.

He looked up to see his grandmother smiling.

Swallowing, he straightened up and stepped back a little to look at his brother. As Grandma said, Alan had scratches on his face and arms, and a bloom of windburn on his cheeks, but his expression held no blame.

Scott drew in a breath. “What do you say we keep our underwear on the inside, squirt?”

The laugh that burst out of Alan was more release than humour. He wrapped his arms around Scott and buried his face in his t-shirt again.

It was muffled but Scott had good hearing after all.

“Yeah. You’re hero enough already.”

I'm suprised this actually came out pretty good.. but yeah... some father and son bonding time we were robbed of.. think of this as a War of the Supermen Alternate Ending.. the Good Ending where Chris & Thara survive

The battle ended with Chris and Clark single handedly flying Zod into the source wall.. not the phantom zone as they did before.. the other kryptonian criminals are taken captive by OA and are held in a solar system with a Red Sun.. the kryptonians left on New Krypton who did not side with Zod were given a home on the planet Rokyn.. Chris' Nightwing powers are new.. and he is learning new things about them and himself everyday.. after a long day of war, turmoil... Chris and Clark catch up on lost time.. he has matured so much from this.. and Clark sees in him the potential to be a great hero.. and although zod, ursa and non are gone.. many of his followers are still on Earth Clark offers Chris to join the Supermen of America where he gladly accepts, Lucy is ridden of her powers with Sam Lane dead Lois comes to give her comfort, Mon-El.. after years of suffering from lead poisoning and being bound to the phantom zone.. is free.. free to go and do as he pleases.. Chris meets Conner... Thara and Kara reconnect and they quickly bond... in the shadows.. a new mysterious threat is lurking in the shadows.. ready to strike.. who it is we dont know.. that is for you to decide...

A half-Disney half-Some Time Never gremlin who was formerly known by a different name.

After the cancellation of The Gremlins and the failure of Some Time Never, Axjum was thrown away. He then created his own sanctuary world for the gremlin of Disney and Some Time Never.

Meine One-Shot-Verses:

Im Rahmen meiner „Infinite Earths Oneshots und Shorts-Sammlung“ habe ich 2019 neben canonkompatiblen One-Shots und denen, die in meinen bereits etablierten Verses spielen, auch drei One-Shots verfasst und veröffentlicht, die eindeutig nicht im Canon-Verse spielen.

„Hush“ ist eine „Batwoman“-Fic, dich ich zu Episode 1x03 „Down Down Down“, verfasst habe. Darin geht es wie der Titel schon sagt um Tommy Elliot, dessen Arroverse-Version ja in dieser Episode von „Batwoman“ eingeführt wurde. Basierend auf der Comicversion des Charakters bin ich näher auf seine Backstory eingegangen. Da ich damals nicht hatte ahnen können, dass die Macher den Charakter zusammen mit allen anderen aus Staffel 1 inklusive Kate und Jacob, fallen lassen würden als wäre er eine heiße Kartoffel, habe ich die Fic in das sogannte „Hush“-Verse gesetzt. Ich glaube aber nicht, dass wir jemals im Canon Informationen über Tommy erhalten haben, die dem Inhalt dieser Fic direkt widersprechen, trotzdem spielt sie in einem Paralle-Universum, in dem die Storylines um Tommy, Kate und Bruce Sinn machen. Übrigens ist „Hush“ meine einzige Fanfiction mit einem (nicht-bösen) Bruce bzw. Batman, und ich bin ganz stolz darauf wie er geworden ist.

„Zu mehrt“ ist eine „The Flash“-Fic und das Westhallen College-AU nach dem niemand jemals gefragt hat. Hier gibt es keine Superkräfte, Vigilanten, oder Schurken, sondern nur Eddie, Barry, und Iris am College, die einander unter … interessanten Umständen kennenlernen und ihr Problem, das sich daraufhin entwickelt, dem Titel entsprechend lösen. Hier kommt übrigens Eddies College-Mitbewohner Thomas vor, der auch Teil von Eddie-Xs Backstory in meinem A/B/O-Verse war.

„Reign of the Supermen“ ist eine „Supergirl“-Fic, die nicht auf dem gleichnamigen Comic basiert, sondern ein AU ist, in dem Zor-El, Kara, und Kal-El zusammen mit Astra, Non, Selena und den anderen, aber ohne Alura, auf Argo waren, als dieses gerettet wurde. Es handelt sich um eine Dark-Fic ohne Happy End (der Titel verweist eigentlich auf das Ende), die aus Zor-Els Sicht den (scheinbaren) Untergang der letzten Kryptonier im Angesichts von Seuchen, Energieknappheit, und Unfruchtbarkeit schildert. Ironischerweise habe ich diese Fic vor der Pandemie und lange vor der Impfung geschrieben, aber wem gewisse Themen bekannt vorkommen … nun all dieser Verschwörungstheorien kommen ja nicht aus dem Nichts, es gab sie vorher schon, sie wurden lediglich auf Covid angepasst. Auf jeden Fall ist „Reign of the Supermen“ eine sehr unangenehme Fic, die ich bisher nie direkt fortgesetzt habe, obwohl eine Fortstetzung vielleicht interessant wäre. Wer darin nach einer Botschaft sucht … nun, am ehsten wohl, dass Unrecht immer nur weiteres Unrecht hervorbringt, schätze ich. Und Kryptonier in jedem Universum vom Pech verfolgt sind.

Kryptonians and Ectoplasm

I have... SuperPham thoughts. I mentioned this on Discord the other day, and it went somewhere along the lines of this:

In an AU where Danny is biologically Lois and Clark's son, that means the radiation of the portal turning on, killing him, and bringing him back to life is likely a concentrated version of how Clark came back to life due to exposure to enough ultraviolet rays or ion radiation. He essentially has the ability to photosynthesize like a flower, and in this essay I will-

And well, that's all I had at the time. So here's the essay:

The Ghost Zone could very easily be translated to the Phantom Zone in the crossover. However, in many main forms of DC media, Kryptonians such as Dru-Zod and his allies were sent to the Phantom Zone as a punishment for their crimes, effectively cutting them off from their powers. Which means it's likely not ectoplasm that's substituting for the ultraviolet rays of a yellow star, but the process of opening the portal.

Even if looking beyond a half-Kryptonian Danny AU, there can be a lot of applications to this. And taking a look at Superman lore gives some clues to how we can further integrate this into DPxDC.

FULL DISCLOSURE: I am not a scientist, be it physicist or biologist. This brain child was born from pure imagination and unlimited access to scientific articles.

For those that might be less familiar with this timeline, the period in which Superman dies and is seen replaced by four other Superman (one of which is Superboy, or Kon-El, the clone to Kal-El and Lex Luthor) is known as "Reign of the Supermen" and consists of a number of comics.

I won't get into the specifics of all these Supermen, but Clark comes back to life after roughly six months. [Taken from the DCAMU movie "Reign of the Supermen", in which the prologue reveals that the battle to the death between Superman and Doomsday was 6 months ago.]

So it took roughly 6 months for Clark to fully recover. Yet for Danny it took, probably, 5 seconds for the whole thing to be said and done. Which could possibly explain why he's so powerful, beyond the mixture of ectoplasm in his system for this AU.

On the other, other hand, there are many headcanons surrounding how ectoplasm functions on a more scientific standpoint. One of my personal headcanons is that ectoplasm feeds on the electromagnetic waves that humans emit through emotions. The stronger the emotion, the more ectoplasm pools together. Hence, when a person dies, all that ectoplasm pooling together and imprinting on said ectoplasm creates a ghost. [This headcanon is first discussed in chapter 28 of LL's Ascent.]

But we've already established that Kryptonians can be revived through ion radiation. So what is ion radiation? In simple terms, ion radiation is "a type of energy released by atoms that travels in the form of electromagnetic waves (gamma or X-rays) or particles (neutrons, beta or alpha)." But... didn't we just say that ectoplasm likely isn't the reason Superman came back to life? Especially since the Phantom Zone hampers Kryptonians' powers?

That is very true, and if you think about it, this would mean ectoplasm and Kryptonian biology exhibit a lot of the same characteristics. What would be the difference then? Ectoplasm retains the electromagnetic waves, hence how it maintains ghosts' personalities and memories.

However, hampering with these electromagnetic waves could explain why ghosts lose themselves over time, and might give headway to how anti-ecto weapons harm ghosts. But that is a topic that requires more research, and will have to be left for another day.

So ectoplasm retains electromagnetic waves, what about Kryptonians? They can't do the same. Once they are cut off from sunlight, or any form of ultraviolet rays, their powers go with it. Common headcanons for ghosts determine that they can go for some time without continually feeding on ectoplasm, although they gradually grow weaker the longer they go without a source.

But ectoplasm does not emit electromagnetic waves of their own. Perhaps ghosts could filter their ectoplasm and make this possible, maybe that's how they give people the creeps when they intrude on their territory. But otherwise, plain old ectoplasm won't do this. But do you know who does emit electromagnetic waves, according to this logic?

Kryptonians do.

Their emotions emit these waves, and when traveling to the Phantom/Ghost Zone, that would mean all the ectoplasm around them would feed on their emotions. Unfortunately, there is no source of sunlight in the Ghost Zone, which means not only are they cut off from a main source of nutrition, they are constantly being leeched off on from ectoplasm.

This could mean that going to the Ghost Zone, for a Kryptonian, might just be a death sentence. Which makes Dru-Zod's exile to the Phantom/Ghost Zone that much more grim and cruel. We know from the Flashpoint Paradox timeline that Kryptonians will slowly wither away and quite possibly die without any source of ultraviolet rays.

So what would this mean for a half-Kryptonian Danny AU? Well for one, it would explain why Danny is so powerful. His dual nature as half-Kryptonian and a halfa means that all the weaknesses he has from his Kryptonian biology is canceled out by his nature as a halfa, and vice versa.

This wouldn't entirely strip Danny of weaknesses. In some ways it could even compound his weaknesses depending on what's used against him.

Yet it's still something very interesting and tasty to think about. And provides a lot of possibilities for future plot points or alternate universes.

1. Smothering Love: On how Batman's hugs are deadlier than his glares

When Bruce was still with the League of Shadows, he had the habit of breastfeeding Damian whenever he started crying. It was the only experience the Omega had with consolidating children. Coupled with the trauma of losing him, it stuck. In the end, four Robins (plus one lucky Kryptonian) suffered. (Bruce gives the worst hugs ever. Robins are embarrassed. Clark wants to be smothered by his best friend's chest, he just doesn't know it yet.)

This was my first ever Superbat fic and to this day it's still my most read one, despite being ABO, it's lighthearted w some angst and humor and crack

2. Merry it is, while summer lasts.

Bruce joins the Justice Lords when the first of the dog roses blooms. He leaves when the last has wilted and rose hips grow in clusters on spiky tree branches. His loyalty to Kal lasts a season, but his love for Clark survives a lifetime.

This is a rather dark and Angsty fic, inspired by a middle-English song called "Miri it is, while Sumer ilas" and dog roses (Rosa canina). I consider it my best one yet.

3. Heated Combat.

"... So why not do it? Why not let his fists do the job? He’d rather be known as a prude than an insatiable bitch..." Every heat, Batman haunts the streets of Gotham and redirects his frustration onto anyone foolish enough to commit crime in his presence. For Alfred’s sanity, the safety of himself and the criminals, he needs to find a different outlet. Enter Superman. (Atypical Omegaverse where heats and ruts only make people extremely horny, or in Bruce’s case, horny and pissed off.)

Metastasis (n): the development of secondary malignant growths at a distance from a primary site of cancer Clark afflicts him with a disease of the incurable kind, a love so vile that it turns into world-ending hate. And just like the heart sickness that never goes away, Clark never lets him be, either. Three Supermen take an interest in the Devastator. They want to tame him. To do so, they first have to teach him how to love Superman again.

Disband the rebels and pledge your loyalty to the Justice Lords and Kal. Beg him for mercy, you just might receive it.” But Bruce had remained willfully silent as Diana’s lasso biting into his neck until, until… In hindsight, what a moron Kal-El had been, waiting for the Bat to yield, knowing that Bruce’s body would give out before his mind did) After Lord Batman’s death, Lord Superman crosses many universes and finds him again.

This was my first attempt at writing Justice Lord and fix-it redemption and my second fic overall.

2. Accidental Cohabitation

Clark’s week has been terrible. First Batman rejects him, then Brucie Wayne invites himself into his life. Salvaging his relationship with a moody colleague and babysitting a runaway Omega billionaire? This might be a job even Superman can’t do.

Scott was bored.

Dad was in a meeting and Scott was charged with taking care of Alan back at the hotel.

The rest of his brothers were home on the farm with all the freedom that entailed, while Scott could only stare out at the hazy blue sky through imprisoning glass.

Glass he could eliminate with a flick of a finger, but the integrity of so many things prevented that.

He sighed as he let himself collapse against the bed’s headboard.

“Hey, Scotty, can you do this?”

A comic was shoved in his face. A blink was enough time to school his startled flinch. Nothing terrified Scott more than accidentally injuring any human, much less those he loved.

“Do what, squirt?”

“Don’t call me squirt.”

“My apologies, Alan, what are you referring to?”

“Aww, don’t do that formal stuff either.”

Scott sighed. “What is it?”

“Astroman can fly out into space and deflect meteors! Can you do that?”

“Umm…”

“I bet Johnny could.”

Scott frowned. “I would prefer he didn’t.”

“Why?”

The list of reasons was extensive and well beyond a seven year old’s need to know. “Only in an emergency.” Hell, Scott would lead his three brothers out there himself if that scenario turned up. He had no doubt they would be willing to try.

Alan didn’t know that Scott had dragged John back into the atmosphere several times already.

The fact their father didn’t know was for several very good reasons as well.

Definitely a case of what they didn’t know couldn’t hurt them.

Alan threw a pout. “You guys are so boring.”

“What?!” Scott turned, incredulous, to his little brother now beside him on the bed.

“You’ve got all this cool stuff and you never use it.”

“We do stuff all the time.”

“On the farm. You could be superheroes!” Alan shook the comic in his hands. “You could be so cool! You could save people and stuff.” He flopped back on the bed. “Instead, you are serious and boring.” The pout returned with reinforcements.

Scott’s lips thinned. This was not the first time Alan had suggested this. “You know why.”

The pout turned to a grump. “Yeah. Still sucks.”

A sigh. “Do you have any better ideas?”

“A costume.”

Scott rolled his eyes. “We’ve been through this before.”

“But you’ve never even tried one on!”

Obviously it had never even occurred to Alan that Scott and his brothers wore costumes every day just to stay part of the human crowd.

But right now? With a little brother obviously as bored as Scott was…

“What do you think we could wear?”

Alan’s eyes brightened…

And that was how Scott Tracy, alien stranded on Planet Earth, found himself dressed in the most ridiculous, patched together outfit ever.

His pocket money would pay for the torn-up sheet and curtain. Their father wouldn’t be happy, but the grin on Allie’s face was worth it.

“You need to put your underwear on the outside.”

Scott stared at Alan. “Why?”

“’Cause they all do that.” And he was presented with multiple comic examples until he had to ward them off with a dash to his underwear drawer.

Humans were weird sometimes.

Though the extra pair over his jeans did serve to keep his sheet shirt in place – apparently he needed bare arms and, no, a t-shirt wasn’t good enough. C’mon, Scotty, pleeeease.

Little brothers knew exactly how to push his buttons…no matter the planet of origin.

“And a mask. You need a mask.”

“Why?”

“To hide your secret identity, of course.”

Scott rolled his eyes. He had read a few comics since landing here, seen a few movies…imagination was a major part of their adopted culture. Perhaps if his planet of origin had had more imagination, they might have imagined a way out of blowing themselves up.

Scott froze the thought and threw it aside. He refused to let his memory corrupt his present.

His mother’s eyes…

Focus! Both fathers’ voices echoed through his mind and forced him back to the smiling face in front of him. Milliseconds of distraction, unnoticed by his little human brother, but distraction led to mistakes and mistakes could mean so much more for a world Scott had not evolved in.

Their human father had learnt that one the hard way.

Yet he still trusted Scott to look after his most precious possession.

He wrapped a torn piece of sheet around his eyes and bore a pair of holes in it with a little applied heat. A hand caught the strand of smoke, preventing it from reaching the detectors in the room and a wisp of cold breath neutralised its energy enough so he could brush the particles into a trash can.

Alan was staring at him.

“You are sooo cool!”

Scott couldn’t help but snort in laughter and grin goofily at his little brother. “Okay, okay, so do I look the part now?” He stood shoulders back, hands on hips, cape hanging very much like the curtain it used to be.

The fact he had chosen red underwear to match it showed how much influence this planet had on his thoughts.

“You look great!” Alan was grinning fit to bust something and Scott couldn’t help but do the same. “Oooh, you need one more thing.” And Alan was clambering off the bed and searching through his bag. Paper and markers appeared, and moments later, the shield of Tracy Industries’ logo was pinned to Scott’s chest, but instead of the T for Tracy, there was an S scribbled in its place.

Alan stepped back, his expression fond before he looked up at Scott. “An ‘S’ for Scott, the greatest protector of all time.”

Scott’s eyes widened. “Protector?”

Alan’s expression softened into a smile. “Yeah, cos that’s what you do. You are boring, but you do look after us.”

A swallow. Scott shoved the resultant emotion down and reached out to ruffle Allie’s hair. That resulted in a duck and squirm, followed by a tackle on the bed and it all devolving into a tickle fest.

A one-sided tickle fest because Scott had an unfair advantage he was happy to deploy in this circumstance.

Just a little.

“You suck!” But it was said between giggles.

It was second nature to him to compensate for his strength against Alan, but the calculations performed in his head regarding each movement were double checked regardless, and he could never really, fully let go like he could around Gordon.

A sudden wave of homesickness for the rest of his brothers washed over him and perhaps it was that thought that distracted him enough to overcompensate and throw himself backwards.

The window didn’t stand a chance.

High speed thought had enough time to blind him with consequences as he fell out into free air in the middle of the city.

But it was the absolute terror that ripped out his heart as a scream tore past him at the speed of Earth gravity.

Alan!

He caught his little brother before the thought completed, but it was the cries of people below on the street, the eyes in all the glass windows around him, and the blood on Alan’s face that tipped him into flight.

Literally.

He was halfway to Kansas before he had any thought of doing anything different. His phone was still in the room so far behind him. He had no way to contact anyone.

Alan was shaking in his arms.

Scott did what he knew. He fled home.

The familiarity of the skies around Kansas barely had a chance to comfort him before he was touching down as fast as a human could handle.

His brain was functioning that much at least.

He ran, yelling for his grandmother, Alan clutched to his chest, ‘cape’ billowing behind him.

Virgil met him at the door and there followed a panicked medical assessment, his grandmother and…and…

He ended up out under the tree he and Virgil had declared theirs, hiding in its shade.

He’d hurt his little brother. Oh god, something he had sworn he would never do.

The costume was shed angrily and shredded for the lack of anything else inanimate to destroy.

Down to the molecular level, including his extra underwear.

Especially his extra underwear.

He ended up watching the sun go down, bare-chested with only a ratty pair of jeans keeping his dignity intact.

If he had any left.

“Scott?”

His grandmother’s voice took him by surprise and he was on his feet and backing away before thought.

“Honey?”

“Grandma?” Her name said everything, his fear, his shame, his need to know how badly he had hurt…everyone.

“Allie’s fine, honey. A couple of nicks and scratches. A little windburn. He may hound you for a while. He’s a Tracy, he loves to go fast.” She stepped closer, one of his t-shirts in her hand. “Kyrano is on point. No one was injured. A few photos, but Eos has tracked them down, along with the sensor records of your flight. Your father has already spoken to the hotel manager and the window will be paid for. Everything is okay.” She tilted her head to one side. “Though your brothers may never let you forget that costume. It was a doozy.”

Something snapped inside and Scott folded in on himself. But Grandma was there to catch him. Grandma always was.

He found himself sobbing on her shoulder. “I’m sorry, Grandma.” It was muffled by her shirt.

She muttered something even his superhearing couldn’t decipher, but she held him, her hands rubbing reassurance into his skin. “It’s okay, love, okay. It was an accident.”

The word had him sobbing even more.

“We knew this would happen. We were ready. No damage done.”

He pulled back, eyes wide. “No damage? I could have gotten Allie killed.”

She looked up at him, blue eyes dark in the evening light as she shook her head. “You? Hurt Alan? Not possible.”

“But-“

“You listen to me, young man. I don’t care what planet you are from, we all make mistakes. All mistakes have consequences.” She loomed up at him. “I know you, Scott Tracy.” She placed her hand on the centre of his chest. “I know your heart. There is no way you would let that boy get himself hurt if you had any say. Alan said he had barely fallen before you caught him. He got a fright, yes, but it was little more than a lesson learnt.”

“A lesson?”

“As to why you don’t wear a cape like those characters in his comics. Why we have to wear our underwear on the inside.”

It was a ludicrous line, but the fire in her eyes etched the point into his skin.

She reached up and brushed a stray hair off his forehead. “You and your brothers are here for a reason. You have hearts of gold and humanity probably doesn’t deserve what you can offer us. But you are not perfect and we can’t expect you to be.”

He stared at her, not knowing what to say.

She smiled just a little. “Now, come inside before Virgil vibrates a hole in the floor. That boy was born to worry.” She cupped his cheek a moment before pushing the t-shirt at him. “And your littlest brother is terrified he has screwed everything up. He needs you to knock some sense into him. There are some things that grandmothers just can’t do.”

Scott blinked as she turned and headed back towards the house, obviously expecting him to follow.

He stared a moment, but, pulling the shirt over his head, followed anyway. He had no clue what else to do.

The tackle hug of little brother the moment he walked in the door and the avalanche of whimpered ‘sorry’s were enough to engage more big brother than godawful alien.

He squeezed Alan as tight as he dared, burying his face in his hair. God, ever so precious. One little mistake…

He scrunched up his eyes even tighter.

But a small human hand landed on his shoulder and squeezed gently.

He looked up to see his grandmother smiling.

Swallowing, he straightened up and stepped back a little to look at his brother. As Grandma said, Alan had scratches on his face and arms, and a bloom of windburn on his cheeks, but his expression held no blame.

Scott drew in a breath. “What do you say we keep our underwear on the inside, squirt?”

The laugh that burst out of Alan was more release than humour. He wrapped his arms around Scott and buried his face in his t-shirt again.

It was muffled but Scott had good hearing after all.

“Yeah. You’re hero enough already.”

The Separate RoTS Kon and Comic Kon AU

So this AU is basically part of my own extended DC universe (we all have one and mine is still very much in development), where Connor (Young Justice Superboy), Kon (Comic's Superboy), and Maik (Reign of the Supermen's Superboy) all exist concurrently. Kon is the first clone but it is the one with TTK and Lex as the other father (all three technically are in this scenario), and it pretty much plays out with ignoring him getting erased cause I'm not playing that game with DC. After Clark finally gets used to him being around, they find out about Connor, who, unlike Kon, has more Kryptonian abilities, mainly what he has in the cartoon, but I think he deserves heat vision and ice breath because I like them and he deserves something too. Clark is a lot worse to him than he was to Kon, if only because how does Lex keep getting his DNA and Connor is a tad more standoffish and he didn't feel like he was ever part of Young Justice here because, well Kon was already there and you don't need two Supers (stupid hypothesis I know, but what can you do?). Also unlike Kon, he does age, albeit slower than most people. Young Justice does keep inviting him to join (the team being from their original run plus M'gann and Kaldur, but he thinks it's just pity and ends up on the Outsiders. He still ends up with M'gann though cause it's a cute ship to me. After they get married and Jon is around 10 (no Bendis time skip and the aging is different because otherwise Lois would be having Jon at 75, and a key point of this AU is to fill Ma and Pa Kent's outside table with family), is when Lex displays the newest "invention" of Lexcorp, Superboy. Now, I never watched Reign of the Supermen and have very cursory knowledge about it, so this will deviate a lot more than the rest. Superboy (here-fore referred to as Maik due to later reasons), is made basically act how the music industry used Justin Beiber when he was a child, and he is 12 because he looked like a 12 year old when I saw him. He is literally a marketing ploy for Lex to show off he can mass produce Supermen who are more obedient and humans can trust since they're American Made. Lex uses him literally to show up Superman and even has him fight the other three Superboys to show how much better the man made ones are, always during disasters. One day during a disaster, he fumbles it hard, causing more destruction than should have happened (ignoring that Lex caused the disaster in the first place), Lex takes him to the lab to euthanize him with a kryptonite syringe. Kara was having lunch nearby with some friends and hears Maik screaming and crying and excuses herself and busts into the lab and sees Lex trying to pin Maik down to kill him and she goes feral. She burns Lex's hand so he drops the syringe and then gets up close and personal. The end of the fight being that despite being at least 100' underground, Lex is lands outside the hole Kara made and she keeps going, horrifying the onlookers until Maik finally climbs out (only super jumping, flight comes later) and tells the crowd what Luthor tried to do to him, but obviously, a human being turned into a squeak toy by a Kryptonian isn't good for optics, despite the youth's pleas. Luckily, Lois and Jon heard the commotion and Jon throws a rock at Kara who stops and realizes what she's doing, spits on Lex, grabs Maik by the hand and flies off with him. Clark, Lois and Jon find them at the farm with Ma making them sandwiches to eat. Kara and Maik explain what happened and afterwards, Clark says they need a name for him if he's staying. Given he's 12 physically and less than a year old legally, he has to stay somewhere and since Lex has a boner for both Kal and Clark, they decide he should stay with the Danvers who are okay with the situation but scold Kara for almost killing a person even if he deserves it cause she was raised better than that. They say they need to name him something and Kara has been teaching Jon, Kon and Connor some Kryptonian and Jon suggests Maik El, which I don't know if there is a Krypotonian language that's actually made-

-Roy Harper continues as Red Arrow Cry of Justice simply does not happen and Lian is still alive, he will even go on to join the Justice League

-The Justice League will be very much led by Dick Grayson the line up will consist of

-Nightwing, Superman, Martian Manhunter, Troia, Red Arrow, Jade, Obsidian, The Atom (Ryan Choi), The Flash (Bart Allen), and a New Green Lantern (Terry Berg) more on him later, Firestorm (Ronnie/Jason), Kendra Saunders(Hawkgirl) and Cyborg(Victor Stone)

-Titans will mostly consist of the YJ characters except Bart the line up will consist of Red Robin, Sentinel (Kon-El) he will now move on from the superboy moniker and become his own hero, Fury(Cassie Sandsmark) will be trained by Lyta Trevor the Fury of the newly reformed Earth Two and the daughter of Wonder Woman and Steve trevor her and Conner will be dating once again, Ravager (Rose Wilson), Red Devil(Eddie Bloomberg), Blue Beetle(Jaime Reyes), Static (Virgil Hawkins), Aquawoman(Lorena Marquez)

-Gar and Raven will join JL Dark along with Zatanna and others

-Batman: Batman will run batman incorporated Duke Thomas will be in this canon and will have met batman during no man's land as opposed to Zero Year, he will be Cass' best friend and will become The Signal, Gothams day protector unlike main continuity he will not be in the Batfamily, he will be his own unique hero, Jason Todd will have his pre crisis origin and hair color.. controversial ik.. but for the sake of preference that will be so, he will be an anti-villain crime boss controlling the drug trade, him and Bruce won't be at odds with each other, he simply does not approve of the path Jay has taken and it saddens him, Jay cares about Bruce too.. but he has chosen this life he will still be with Scarlet, Stephanie Brown will still be Batgirl, Barbara will still act as Oracle, Joker will have the doll maker remove his face and the court of owls will be introduced as Justice League villains instead of batman villains, they will very much be a worldwide illuminati type organization Damian will still act as Robin the bat fam will just be smaller and have Bruce, Dick, Damian, and Steph

-Green Lantern: Hal Jordan will marry Carol and Kyle Rayner will lead the corps, the mythos will be explored more, Terry Berg will be given kyles ring after kyle becomes a white lantern, Terry is Kyle Rayners assistant in Winicks run he will become The fifth earth lantern, kyle and Terry will get more bonding moments.. Kyle and Jade will get back together and marry for real this time, Terry's character will be explored more

-Superman: Kal will lead the Supermen of America a new team, Chris will be living with Clark and Lois again, he will be attending college classes with Thara and will be best friends with Duke Thomas, their dynamic will be like a swapped version of batman and superman.. Chris being the more serious super and Duke being the lighthearted bat, Chris will be able to control shadows and darkness, Duke controls light, him and Thara will be members of the JL Dark, Thara will assume the civillian identity, Claire Connor Lang acting as Karas sister, Kara Zor El/Linda Lang will still be living with lana and be on her last year of high school she will meet and team up with Linda Danvers her predecessor and they will quickly become friends, Conner will still be in Smallville now going to school at Kansas State.. the same college Chris goes too Kon will see him as a brother/Cousin, and they will be a duo in themselves they will all deal with the repercussions of zods war on earth

-The JSA: It will very much feature mostly the children and grandchildren of the jsa.. the remaining founding members will pass on.. except Jay and Carter Jay will act as mayor of NYC quitting the team giving guidance when needed, the JSA Hawkman will continue on with the JSA

Flash: Bart Allen will now be the main flash.. he will not be so sure he can do it again.. he failed.. he died.. and failed.. he will reconnect with his old friends in Manchester now all adults, him and Carol's relationship will spark, now working for Star Labs, Bart will get a job as a reporter at Picture News with Iris and we will see their relationship more Rival will return still possessing Max's body he will be the first big bad and it will give Bart and Max the closure they deserve, him and Bart will speak in the speed force where he will call him son before passing on, we will establish his rogues, the old rogues will still be on, barts old villains will hoin in too including White Lightning, Irey will become Barts Kid Flash

Wonder Woman: Diana will be working for the government and working to rebuild themysciras connection to earth, the amazons tactics have changed no visitors are welcome, Cassie will unleash her Olympian abilities more, she will cross over to earth two and meet Hippolyta Trevor the Daughter of Earth Two Wonder Woman, she will take on the name Fury, while Donna has uncovered a prophecy.. depicting the rise of an old God long defeated known as Typhon the Enemy of the Gods

Green Arrow: Ollie will still be married to Dinah, Robert Queen II will join the arrow family, Roy will gain a bigger role, Olivia Queen will be born

Aquaman: Arthur will retire with Mera, Garth will now be the king of atlantis, but he will not be the Aquaman.. Koryak will be the new Aquaman, a more brutal aquaman, although meaning well, it will feel like a tale of two brothers, Garth and Koryak will constantly butt heads.. Dolphin and Cerdian will be revealed to have not died but survived the destruction of atlantis in infinite crisis having been taken by atlan, Cerdian will have aged to 10 having been in the pocket dimension with atlan so long... the family will be reunited at last.. Cerdian will become Aqualad

Captain Marvel: Billy and Mary go on a quest to get their powers back which they do successfully, Freddy and Kit Freeman reunite the long lost freeman Brothers together at last they go on a journey through hell together

Ochaco(as the rest of Izuku’s family is shown): We’ve been dealing with otherworldly visitors, most of them unfriendly, some of them fellow heroes who just want to get home, but this one…

Ochaco(as Clark Kent/SupermanTAS is shown still smiling as the sun sets behind him): He just feels…Truly “Super”, like he’ll help anyone, no matter what universe he’s in…

Hisashi(walking up to Clark and accepting Clark’s handshake): I’m Hisashi Midoriya, the Superman of this Earth, how did you know who I was?

Clark(smirking): I’m an investigative journalist on my Earth, and I kept a low profile when I arrived.

Clark(once he and Hisashi stopped shaking hands): I started investigating the new world I found myself in, and when I realized that the Superman here was from Japan, I started investigating and learned of Hisashi Midoriya, a reporter who joined Musutafu News shortly before Superman appeared.

Clark(with the others paying him close attention): I learned that you were from a small town called “Smallville”, just like I was, so I headed to your hometown, found your family’s farm and meet your father, Josuke, who told me about the kind of person you are.

Izuku(speaking up): Jon told us about you!

Izuku(with Clark turning to him in shock): He said that his dad’s human name was “Clark Kent” and that he was the Superman before him!

Clark(surprise visible on his face): You met my son?

Eri: Him and his Uncle Conner Kent, your clone brother.

Clark(understanding): They were probably from a different Earth than mine, my Jon is barely a month old, and I don’t have a brother, clone or otherwise.

Inko(finishing tying up the unconscious Thragg with her lasso): Regardless, thanks for your help.

Inko(noticing Clark looking at her weirdly): What?

Clark(shaking his head): Nothing, it’s just even though you don’t look like her, you remind me a bit of my wife Lois, with some bits of my friend Diana.

Inko(as All Might drapes Thragg over his shoulder like a sack): Is she a reporter who strives to uncover the truth as well?

Clark(crossing his arms with a chuckle): Looks like somethings are just a multiversal constant…

Thor(smiling): Indeed!

Thor(losing his smile): Although another has come forth with your name.

Thor(as Hyperion pays him close attention): A group calling themselves, “The Squadron Supreme of AMERICA”…

Thor(turning to Sentry): And last I recall, you were finally able to pass on after a battle against Knull, the King in Black. Jane even told me that she helped your soul ascend to Valhalla…

Bob(shrugging his shoulders): I’m just as confused as you are.

Bob(looking at his own hands): I remember finally passing on, but then I saw a bright light and I found myself in a physical body in the middle of the streets in Japan.

EDenki(walking up): The portal also turned me into my energy form, not sure why though…

Blossom(flying in and addressing EDenki): Apparently something called a Motherbox malfunctioned and opened those portals.

IzukuCW(hand on his chin): But why only people like us?

HisashiKC(walking up): Some other force must be at play here, but what?

Ochaco(overhearing them): Something tells me that we might not like the answer to that…

Later, inside the Fortress;

Goku(looking at a restrained Thragg within a holding cell): You sure this will hold him?

Hisashi(addressing his friend and fellow alien): Yeah, it’s able to hold a Saiyan like you and Vegeta, for a little while anyways…

Hisashi(as Thragg tries to fly at them): Sure they can adapt like you…

As soon as Thragg is about to make contact with the barrier, an array of ultrasonic speakers go off, disrupting Thragg’s concentration due his sensitive Viltrumite ears, and bringing him to his knees.

Hisashi(as the speakers turn off and Thragg glares at them): But their ears are more sensitive to accommodate for their flight.

Hisashi(turning to his friend): And while they can take more punishment for a longer time than you can, they can’t match your power output.

Goku(arms crossed): I don’t know, I can take quite a beating…

Hisashi(smirking): Because you push yourself past the pain, they can take more physical damage before they start going down.

Hisashi(as they walk away from a scowling Thragg): In simple terms, they’re tanks while you and Vegeta and bombers. You can cause more damage than them, but go down easier.

Goku(scratching his nose): I guess that’s accurate…

Hisashi: At least in your base forms, your other forms let you take more damage, at the cost of your stamina.

Hisashi(turning to his friend): Except for Ultra-Instinct, how’s that going for you by the way?

Goku(grinning): I managed to figure it out, thanks for training me in Torquasm-Rao by the way, it really helped get me into the state of mind I needed.

Hisashi: Anything for a friend.

Goku(as they walk into the lobby and they see Eri with Brightburn and Krypto): You know, we should probably have you over for dinner sometime, I know Chichi would love to have you guys over again, and I just know that Izuku and Eri would get along great with Gohan and Pan.

Goku(smirking): Goten’s even a big Superboy fan.

Hisashi(smiling): Maybe after this is all over.

Meanwhile;

Dr Garaki is shown opening another pod within his hidden lab.

Dr Garaki(addressing the young man who has exited the pod): Welcome back…

Dr Garaki(smiling vindictively): Tomura Shigiraki.

The young man lifts his head to reveal the chapped visage of the League of Villains’ current leader. His light blue hair parting to reveal his red eyes.

Shigiraki(once he has fully exited the pod in nothing but a skin tight pair of leggings): Was the procedure successful?

Rokuro walks in wearing a new black and yellow costume with glowing yellow lines throughout, a red lightning bolt on his chest and a full helmet, acting much calmer then he had previously.

Zoom(his voice distorted by his helmet): Why don’t you tell us?

Shigiraki(raising a brow): Who’s he?

Dr Garaki(waving him off): Another one of our experiments, now how do you feel?

Tomura looks down and briefly clenches his right fist. Energy starts to gather in his fist, much like it does with Denki’s lightning as Shazam.

Shigiraki(grinning like the madman he is): Yes…

Shigiraki(proceeding to easily lift the pod he emerged from with one hand): I can feel it.

Shigiraki(as he crushes the pod with his new strength): This strength, it’s exciting!

Shigiraki(as he starts hovering off the ground as his eyes glow with energy): THE POWER OF THE GODS IS MINE TO WIELD!!!

Dr Garaki(grinning madly): Superboy is your cousin, and Wonder Woman your aunt…

Dr Garaki: You’re able to unlock the same power as them, you just need the right trigger to awaken it, in this case the various energy manipulation quirks the Master left for you.

Shigiraki(smirking darkly): With this cheat code, I’ll finally be able to take out the series of boss levels that is the Justice League and their brats!

Zoom(scowling under his helmet): Just leave the Flashes to me. I have unfinished business with them…

Unknown to the villains within the lab, they had been overheard by a worried Toga.

Toga(eyes wide): This is bad…

Shigiraki(as Toga sneaks away from the door): I HAVE to test this new power against my cousin’s!

Shigiraki(turning to Garaki): WHERE IS HE?!?!?!

Re-Destro(walking in without his armor): They’re likely at Superman’s Fortress in the Arctic Circle. It likely contains some technology to help them send the otherworldly visitors back.

Shigiraki(confused): Huh?

Cyborg SM(walking in): You have been undergoing that process for quite a while now, much as happened…

Cyborg SM(smirking as Shigiraki turns to him): Let us fill you in…

Back at the Fortress;

Mei(flying into the main lobby with her Steel suit): WE FIGURED IT OUT!!!

Ochaco(looking up from talking with a shy Brandon Breyer): Really?!

David(running in): We need the Flashes’ help!

Tenya(racing up to them with Tensei and Jay): With what?

Melissa(flying in on the Cosmic Rod): The Speedforce is the key!

Jay(realizing what they mean): Of course, Our vibrational frequency!

David(grinning): Exactly! The Speedforce allows you to vibrate at different frequencies using your speed, so you should all be able to vibrate and match the frequency of other Earths!

SMR-5 walks in carrying what appears to be a specialized treadmill in over his head, with wires draped over his shoulders.

Mei(excitedly): We built this special baby to channel the vibrations you create when you run to open portals across space and time!

Tensei(with his hand on his chin in thought): There were times that as I was running, it looked as if time was rewinding, but I just assumed that it was because I was moving so fast that it looked like I got where I was heading before I seemingly left.

Tenya(eyes wide and waving his hands around): YOU MEAN YOU ACCIDENTALLY TRAVELED BACK IN TIME WITHOUT REALIZING?!?!?! WE COULD TIME TRAVEL THIS WHOLE TIME?!?!?!

SMR-5(having set everything up): I have already scanned the subjects’ various vibrational frequencies and have inputted them into the treadmill’s controls.

Mellisa(as the others join them): All you have to do is run as fast as you have to to match the frequency and open the portal, before using the controls to switch to the next one.

Ochaco(voiceover, smiling): Things might finally be coming to a close!

Meanwhile;

Shigiraki is seen flying towards the Arctic with a legion of Nomus behind him, and a mad grin on his face, wearing a new black and white armor, reminiscent of Superman’s suit, with the “S” on his chest and a red cape(think New 52 Superman armor in the black and white, with t he red cape).

Re-Destro(over the comms): I still highly advise AGAINST this! The alien technology within that Fortress’ defenses are far beyond anything you could possibly dream of!

Shigiraki(cockily): I have the power of the gods now, along with various quirks to boost it! I’ll easily turn their defenses to dust!

Re-Destro(worried): But those defenses are Kryptonian!

Shigiraki(annoyed): What part of “godly might” didn’t you get? I’m more than a match for Superboy now!

Re-Destro: But Superboy is half-alien, half-demigod, but you’re still half-human! No amount of quirks will be able to make up the difference!

Shigiraki(angrily as he starts glowing with more power): OH YEAH?!?!?! JUST WATCH ME!!!

Shigiraki then proceeds to fly faster, unbothered by the heat he is radiating as he nears his destination.

Back at the Fortress;

Tenya(stepping onto the treadmill): So I just have to run?

Mei(giving him a thumbs up): Yeah, but you need to be channeling the Speedforce for this to work.

Tenya(nodding his head in acknowledgment): Got it.

Stargirl: And make sure not to slow down! Otherwise…

Tenya(confused as he was about to place his helmet on): “Otherwise” what?

David(climbing into his Stripe mech): Otherwise, you’ll trip and be launched into the wall behind you with the relative force of a rail gun…

Tenya(nervously placing his helmet on): …Got it…

Tenya(channeling the Speedforce as lightning glows in his eyes): Now or never…

Tenya starts running on the treadmill, his arms and legs becoming blurs with lightning as he runs.

Soon, sparks start jumping off the treadmill, before a series of portals start opening before them.

Ochaco(seeing the portals open up): It’s working!

Suddenly, alarms start going off.

Supreme(looking up in alarm): What now?!

A live feed of the front door is shown.

Shigiraki(banging against the door with all his might, not even leaving a scratch): GET OUT HERE, SUPERBOY!!!

Izuku(stunned): Tenko?!

Clark(confused): You know him?

Ochaco(explaining): He’s actually Izuku’s cousin who was brainwashed by a villain into becoming his successor.

Inko(regretfully): Sadly, since he was raised by that “monster” from a young age, he despises heroes with all his being…

Shigiraki throws an energy charged punch, causing various systems throughout the fortress to go haywire.

Batman(seeing the lights flicker): I have a bad feeling about this…

Suddenly, Homelander comes flying in, eyes burning with anger as his shackles turned off, his face still bruised from the beating his received earlier, followed by Paragon and the Viltrumites.

Homelander(missing a few teeth): BRING IT YOU LITTLE-

Homelander is immediately knocked straight into one of the portals by Aquaman who proceeds to jump after him.

Clark(catching Thragg’s sloppy punch): Let’s take this elsewhere.

Thragg(enraged): LIKE HELL I’LL DO WHAT YOU S-

Clark(throwing him into another portal): I wasn’t asking…

IzukuCW(as Clark flies after Thragg): Go, we’ll deal with him!

Tensei(pulling his cowl on, turning to Brandon): Let’s go!

Ochaco(seeing Izuku punch Paragon into another portal): You better come back in one piece!

Superman(smirking at her): Of course I will.

Ochaco and Izuku fly into separate portals, just as Denki flies out the doors, clotheslining Shigiraki mid punch.

Shigiraki(getting back up): WHERE IS SUPERBOY?!?!?!

Shazam(hovering down): You just missed him…

Eradicator(wearing a new costume as he and the other Supermen and Black Adam hover down besides him): Will we suffice?

Shigiraki simply gets up with a smirk on his face as he starts letting off more energy.

Shigiraki(now looking like a human star): Bring it…

Meanwhile;

Ochaco, Tensei and Brandon come out and of the portal they entered and end up on a destroyed farm, with wreckage from a plane crash.

Brightburn(clutching his head as he starts hearing the alien voice again): AAAAHHHH!!!

Flash(grabbing Brightburn): Find the ship and destroy it!

Flash(taking off with multiple sonic booms): I’LL KEEP HIM BUSY!!!

Superwoman immediately heads to the wreckage of the barn and starts pushing the wreckage aside.

Elsewhere, on Mark and Ethan’s Earth;

Clark is shown wailing away at Thragg, easily knocking away any Viltrumites who would try to interfere.

Clark(blasting Thragg away with heat vision): You’re outmatched!

Thragg(trying to power through the beam): SAYS YO-

Thragg finds himself cutoff by Supreme flying out of the portal alongside Invincible and Omniman as he gets clocked across the face!

On Homelander’s Earth;

Aquaman came out the portal into what appeared to be a lab of some sort, with a large group of people looking at him and the bloodied Homelander on the floor.

A person with an eagle shaped shield charging what appears to be an attack from his chest turns to him in confusion.

Before the man could say anything, Orin charges and jabs his face with the butt of his trident, immediately knocking him out, causing his attack to fade out.

British man in a trench coat(scowling as his eyes glow): Great! Another bloody supes!

The British man fires his own beams at Orin’s face, leaving him shrouded in smoke.

Once the smoke cleared, Orin is shown to be unfazed and with a look of annoyance on his face.

Aquaman(annoyed as everyone looks at him in shock): You done?

Aquaman(walking up and grabbing a groaning Homelander by his neck): Good!

On the Utopian and Paragon’s Earth;

Izuku finds himself fighting off an army of super-powered “heroes” as Paragon watches and gloats.

Paragon(smiling sadistically): So much for being the son of your Earth’s strongest heroes!

The young Superman let’s off a large blast of telekinetic energy, blasting everyone off of him as he charges at the young Sampson.

Superman(grabbing his opponent by his collar): You were saying?

Back at the Fortress of Solitude;

The remaining Justice League members easily intercept their counterparts of the Crime Syndicate and threw them into the portal leading to Earth 3.

Tenya slows down a bit, causing the portal to close before they could come back out.

Tenya(turning towards the sound of Shigiraki fighting Denki and the others): We have to hurry!

Steel(holding a bag as she flies towards the portal to Homelander’s Earth): Don’t worry, there’s just one thing we need to do!

Steel(grabbing Jay before he could join the fight against Shigiraki): I’ll need your help Mr. Old timer!

Steel(giving the bag she was holding to Jay): I need to run through the portal and set all of these off across the globe!

Jay(pulling out a small gas grenade): What is this?

Steel(explaining): It’s a special gas baby we designed to render the chemical baby we found in Homelander inert, you’ll have to release across the entire the globe in order to ensure that no one ever gets powers like him again.

Jay(taking off through the portal): Got it little lady!

Back on the Breyer farm;

Superwoman moves a large piece of rubble aside and finally finds the ship transmitting the voice to Brandon.

Superwoman(jumping down next to the ship): Finally.

Superwoman(using her powers to lift it up): Don’t worry Brandon, this will all be over soon…

Meanwhile;

Flash(running across the country at near lightspeed as Brightburn tries to struggle out of his grip): C’MON KID!!! I SAID WE’D HELP YOU!!!

Brightburn(trying to punch Tensei across the face only for him to vibrate): TAKE THE WORLD!!!

Brightburn manages to escape Tensei’s hold as they cross the ocean and reach Russia, when he starts clutching the sides of his head in agony.

Brightburn receives new orders from the ship as he takes off back towards the barn.

Flash(running after him while using his comm): SUPERWOMAN!!! HE’S HEADING YOUR WAY!!!

Superwoman(taking off into space): Time to end this nightmare!

We cut to Izuku as he easily overpowers Paragon’s telekinetics with his own.

Superman(blocking one of Brandon’s crosses): You know this isn’t really you…

Superman(punching Brandon hard enough to knock some teeth out): But you tried to kill my daughter…

Superman(as Brandon holds his jaw in pain): So all bets are currently off.

As Izuku continues to battle Brandon as the gathered forces of Brandon’s “army” watches in shock, a bearded man in a gray and red suit watches with interest as his own nephew is easily matched by this strange young man with an “S” on his chest.

This is the “hero” Brainwave, the Utopian’s younger brother, Walter Sampson, and Brandon’s uncle who had secretly manipulated his own nephew’s mind for his own goals.

Walter(smirking at Izuku’s display of power): It seems that I’ve found a new puppet with strings to pull…

On Invincible’s Earth;

As the battle against the Viltrumites rages on, the other heroes of the Mark’s Earth, the Guardians of the Globe, and Invincible Inc. join the fray, with Mark’s daughter, Terra and his younger brother, Oliver, initially stunned at the sight of Nolan as Omniman, before Mark quickly claims that he’ll explain later.

Clark finds himself actually being pushed back by the combined might of Thragg and Conquest, with various rips and tears appearing across his costume.

Thragg(mockingly as he throws a punch with his remaining left hand): Even with my handicap…

Thragg(as he punches Clark through several buildings): I’M MORE THAN A MATCH FOR YOU!!!

Conquest(grabbing the groaning Clark be the neck as he pulls him out of the rubble): So much for being your Earth’s strongest hero…

Conquest(voiceover as Shigiraki is shown matching Denki, Hisashi and Goku’s blows, with the other Superman counterparts picking themselves up from the onslaught of magical attacks): We’re the products of countless millennia of evolution!

Thragg(as Mjolnir is shown laying in a crater, it’s wielder embedded within the side of a mountain): WE ARE SUPERIOR TO YOU!!!

Conquest(as Homelander is shown punching Aquaman out of the building their were in, just as Jay comes rushing out of the portal and Mei delivers a swing of her hammer that pushes John back): WE NEVER TIRE!!!

Thragg(as Ochaco is shown carrying Brightburn’s ship into space with Brandon rapidly gaining on her, his eyes glowing): WE WILL NEVER REST!!!

Conquest(as Brainwave hovers down to Izuku, who turns to him in confusion after knocking Paragon into a mountain): WE HAVE NO WEAKNESSES!!!

Thragg(as Brainwave use his powers to make Izuku relive all the humiliation he went through before awakening his Kryptonian heritage making him scream, Ochaco is shown being hit by Brightburn’s heat-vision, Homelander rips Mei’s hammer out of her hands, and Hisashi is hit with a blast of divine power, as Thragg grabs Clark and throws him to the ground with enough force to cause an Earthquake felt around the world, making everyone stop their fighting): UNLIKE YOU!!!

Thragg(hovering down as the dust settles): Your faith makes you weak! You’ll never truly be our equals!

Shigiraki is shown easily knocking back the pros who attempted to help Hisashi, including Inko, Mina and Eri, before he spots Tenya running on the treadmill.

Tenya(seeing Shigiraki making his way towards him): If anyone can hear me…

Tenya(as a new portal opens up and a mop of green hair is shown): We could really use a miracle right now!

Walter(gazing into Izuku’s mind): Interesting, you’re far stronger than my pathetic brother and my gullible nephew…

Walter(as Izuku screams louder): You’ll make a fine tool to achieve my goals, all you need to do…

Walter(as he starts trapping Izuku’s consciousness in his memory of nearly dying to the sludge villain): IS SUBMIT!!!

However, before Walter could finish constructing the psychic room to trap him, Izuku remembers Ochaco and Eri’s faces and the eyes of his past self in his memory glow as he blasts Brainwave back, breaking the mental prison!

Walter(being pushed back in the real world): IMPOSSIBLE!!!

Superman(panting from the pain he felt): Now*pant*you’re*gasp*getting it…

The young demigod gets up and starts walking towards Brainwave, who attempts to trap Izuku in other painful memories, only for Izuku to shatter the construct prisons as he continues walking!

Superman(eyes glowing as he looks Walter in the eyes): I AM the impossible!

As Shigiraki draws closer to Tenya, a figure leaps out of the newly formed portal and kicks Shigiraki back, before landing in a crouch in between them.

Shigiraki(enraged): WHO DARES?!?!?!

The figure stands up, showing that they are wearing a black cloak, with a red jacket underneath with a symbol of a phoenix on it.

The figure then pulls down their hood to reveal…

Tenya(shocked by the familiar face): Midoriya?!

Mina+Denki(seeing her brother’s face with green hair): IZUKU?!?!?!

Bakugo(stunned): Deku?…

Hisashi(noticing that there’s something different about this Izuku): Something’s off about him…

Shigiraki(letting off a bigger burst of energy): GREAT!!! ANOTHER SUPERBOY FOR ME TO BURN TO A CRISP!!!

Izuku?(speaking up with a smirk): The only one who’ll end up burned is you!

Shigiraki(narrowing his eyes): Oh please, your hair’s green, which means you’re not a Kryptonian and therefore powerless to stop me!

Izuku?(pulling out a golden flip phone with a stylized “M” on it, flipping it open and pressing a button on its side to make the screen flip around and reveal a glowing red gem): I’m far from powerless…I’m more of a mage who fights for Love and Peace.

Dr Fate(getting up and sensing a powerful source of magic): There’s a mighty magic coming from him!

Supergirl(gazing upon her father’s doppelgänger in curiosity): What makes you different from MY Papa?

Izuku?(pressing 1-0-7 into the phone’s keypad): Holy saints! Grant me the power of magic!

Inko(thinking in confusion): He’s invoking the Holy Saint?

Izuku?(crossing his right hand with the phone in front of his left arm): Maho Henshin!

Izuku?(swinging his arms around before pointing the red gem up to the sky): Maagi, Magi, Magiiro!

Shigiraki(irritated as he rockets towards him): I DON’T CARE WHAT YOU DO!!!

Maagi, Magi, Magiiro!

An unknown voice calls out the spell Izuku just uttered, causing a glyph to appear and a flaming figure to manifest and stop Shigiraki mid charge, as the spell takes affect.

Izuku(spinning before striking a pose as everyone looks at him in shock): The Burning Fire Element!

Izuku(as fire appears behind him): The Red Mage! Mystic MagiRed!

All Might(staring in amazement): Incredible…

Shigiraki(getting back with a scowl): BRING IT YOU RED PUNK!!!

MagiRed(pulling out the staff from his waist before flipping it around as the hilt turns into a double edged blade): MagiStick Sword!

MagiRed(charging at Shigiraki): Bring it!

We cut to Ochaco, who recovers from the blast of heat-vision by mimicking Izuku’s personal field trick.

Superwoman(gritting her teeth): I can’t give up now!

Superwoman(taking off towards the sun faster than Brightburn could keep up with): A CHILD’S HAPPINESS IS DEPENDING ON ME!!!

Mei manages to tackle Homelander out of the building with her suit’s boosters, causing him to realize that he’s starting to feel weak, as Aquaman intercepts him on top a vortex of water with his trident!

Thragg gazed down upon the rubble Clark was thrown into, a smug smile on his face, until the rubble starts shifting and Clark’s voice is heard…

Clark(from within the rubble): You think your SO special?…

Clark(as the larger pieces of rubble start moving and the dust in the area starts to gather into a hurricane): I seen so many others like you…

Clark(as Thragg catches a glimpses of Clark’s glowing red eyes through the dust): Monsters who like to tear people down in order to show off how strong they are…

Conquests races towards Clark and delivers a strong left hook, only for Clark to be unfazed by the hit.

SupermanTAS(crossing his arms as Conquest pulls back his right fist and prepares another punch): Me? I’m a different story…

SupermanTAS(as Conquest punches with his robotic right arm, shattering it against Clark’s head): I feel like I live in a world made of cardboard…

SupermanTAS(backhanding Conquest hard enough to dislocate his jaw and knock some teeth out): ALWAYS taking constant care to NEVER break something…

SupermanTAS(as he walks towards Thragg as Conquest smashes through several buildings before succumbing to unconsciousness): Break SOMEONE…

SupermanTAS(looking Thragg in the eyes): But you’re a different story, aren’t you…

SupermanTAS(catching Thragg’s fast left hook with his right hand): “Big man”?

Superman(punching through Walter’s telekinetic field like it was made of paper): This is what you wanted, isn’t it?!

Superman(walking towards Walter as the latter’s eyes widen in shock): What we have here is a rare opportunity…

SupermanTAS(approaching an enraged Thragg after having punched him through 10 buildings): For me to cut loose…

Steel(as Jay is shown running across the country, releasing canisters of the colorless and odorless gas as he goes): Flash is currently releasing it across the entire country.

Steel(smirking through her helmet at Homelander’s stunned face): By morning, the gas will spread across the globe, rendering that fancy chemical permanently useless on EVERYONE.

Shigiraki gets agitated, but before he could start charging at the red warrior, he is hit by Goku’s Power Pole, before being struck Mjolnir.

Goku(his hair and Ki aura glowing blue): Remember us?!

Thor comes flying in delivers a downward swing, sending Shigiraki straight into the ground!

Before Shigiraki could attempt to get back up, he is set upon by Eradicator and SMR-5.

J’onn(appearing above him, with his fingers elongated and moving Walter’s limbs like a puppet as he forces him to undo the lock): I’m leagues above you Mr. Sampson, I just needed to enter your mind to make you undo your changes.

Walter collapses to his knees as his army of heroes start shaking their heads and looking around in confusion.

Izuku then looks him in the eye, and in a flash of telekinetics, he isolates and cuts off the additional lobe on Walter’s brain responsible for his telepathy, performing a telekinetic lobotomy.

MagiRed slashes at a Nomu, sending it flying back into the groups behind it. Just as Mirio and Momo appear him and knock two more Nomus away, with MagiRed gazing at the two in slight confusion before turning back to disoriented Nomus.

you seem surprised that I'm still alive

MagiRed(crossing his arms over his chest, with his staff in his hands, as flames engulf him, taking the shape of a phoenix): RED FIRE!!!

watch me come alive

MagiRed charges through the Nomus before sliding to stop behind them, he turns around, and lifts up his right hand and snaps his fingers, causing the Nomus to explode in a fiery explosion!

I'm done holding back

Shazam, Goku and Thor unleash their strongest energy attacks on Shigiraki, overpowering his energy quirks and causing him to overload.

this is the final attack

Clark is shown having pushed Thragg into space, where he then delivers a punch to the Regent’s stomach strong enough to force Thragg to gasp for air, making him choke in the vacuum of space.

watch me come alive

Thragg attempts to throw a desperate last punch, only for Clark to grab the fist and squeeze as the rays of the sun hit his face.

Clark(smirking as his few wounds start healing rapidly): You’re not the only race with evolutionary adaptions.

and now it all cuts to black

Clark then rockets back down to Earth, recharged by the rays of the Sun, smashing Thragg into a 3 mile wide crater in the desert, finally rendering him unconscious.

Paragon(looking around himself in confusion): What’s going on?

Superman(walking up to him): It’s a long story…

J’onn(walking up alongside Izuku with Walter restrained with a pair of meta dampeners, blocking his strength): What is the last thing you can recall?

Brandon(shaking his head to ward off dizziness): I talked with my dad, and he admitted that he would break the code if it meant protecting me and mom, then Uncle Walt wanted to talk with me, and then everything went blank…

Brandon(looking at them in confusion): WHO are you?

Izuku(offering a hand to shake): A friend.

A little while later;

Izuku walks back through the portal with J’onn and ends up in the Fortress of Solitude, along with Jay, Mei and Orin, and Tensei and Ochaco.

Izuku(turning to his girlfriend): Any problems?

Ochaco(grinning at him): Mission accomplished, he’s free to decide his own path.

Jay(looking around at the pros with a look of concern): What happened with the Shigiraki kid?

Alan(approaching his friend): That Zoom kid showed back up and took him away, only he was wearing a proper suit this time.

Haruto(touching down): His small army of Nomu would’ve nearly too much for us to handle along with his new power, thankfully…

Haruto(turning to face MagiRed as the PowerPuff Sisters ask various questions about his magic): We had some unexpected help.

MagiRed looks up and sees Izuku’s face and starts walking over to them.

MagiRed(standing in front of Izuku, amazement in his face): It really is like looking in a weird mirror…

Ochaco(eyes widening as she realizes that the voice is VERY familiar): Wait a minute!

MagiRed unclasps his helmet and removes to reveal Izuku’s freckled face with his natural green eyes and green hair.

Izuku(holding his helmet under his left arm and waving with his right hand): Hi there, I’m Izuku Midoriya, but you can call me MagiRed!

Ochaco(eyes widen in shock): No way…

Izuku(holding out his right hand for a handshake with a sincere smile on his face): Nice to meet you all!

Ochaco(voiceover as she and her boyfriend gaze at his doppelgänger in shock): Somehow, we’re still getting surprised!

Harley is living her best life with ivy. I assume she leaves right around the same time Tim does- given I do still want her to have been a part of the jj thing (and maybe the only source of kindness he was given during that year) ffffor the most part her story Is the same. She amd Tim would have a lot to talk about I'm sure.

Kon I want very much to be like how he was in the "reign of the supermen" movie except he just never leaves. He just does whatever luthor tells him to and has a hard time coming to terms with himself. For whatever reason there isn't an incident where he would have been needed to leave- possibly because Jon is there to fill in the superboy role before him. He's supposed to be this manufactured hero that lex can capitalize on but he's not very good at it and would just rather be doing other things. Eventually he does start fighting against the jl for luthor but they're pretty aware he clearly doesn't want to and is under some kind of duress. When he pops up in Hawaii trying to make an honest and good name for himself they're very supportive of him.

there are definitely more characters operating from Gotham. I brought up some in some of my earlier posts about this AU. I just don't think Batman matters enough to them to justify their inclusion (Xanthe) or I don't know enough about them to say accurately what they would be doing (Claire Clover).

I don't think Sandstorm is a terrible name for Cassie. Yes Bart plays Darude a lot. There are some regrets. It is still too cool to give up.

Supernova!Kon is just cool. There are already two Supermen. We can chill. Kon should get a new identity to himself.

Anita is back in the vigilante business because at this point the kids are...definitely old enough to be in school full-time. It is still pretty chaotic. Greta I know has made a recent ish appearance. Slobo is still stuck in comics limbo I think? But the whole squad is here. YJ is primarily there to be Tim’s friends, so their hero selves don't matter as much, but they (esp the other core 4 members) are who Tim calls for backup first outside the Bats because it simply would not occur to him to call Bruce's friends when he needs help. He has his own friends.

I really want Khoa to be in this because the personality clashes between him and Tim would be insane. Alas I can't find a way to fit him in. I don't think Batman Inc is sustainable especially with Khoa as the leader...Khoa is not a teamup guy. This is like. The basis of his personality clashes with Tim. But I think the future of Batman Inc should be that Khoa pisses off everyone on his team to the point where he's left alone.
