Ehy! I was thinking of doing something sad for the third keenswimmers2023 theme, BUT since I LOVE comedy and need to make it up to you for skipping the second theme (I've been too busy forgive me) here is the "stranger" theme with a role-play of this couple. (Yes I was watching Modern Family again and the idea came to me from there).

I mean who having a boyfriend who has had a thousand different identities wouldn't want to have some fun with one of them to experience something new?

Cannot get over the fact Blinky, AAARRRGGHH and Not Enrique got wasted and glug is basically the troll equivalent to jungle juice. Vendel should've gotten drunk with them, is he also this funny.

Blinky just, killing three trolls simultaneously. He's stabbing two of them clean through their skulls. Holy shit.

I would pay to see the events told by the comics and similar darker happenings about the trolls animated into a spin-off series. I wanna know more about past Trollhunters

One thing I find interesting about the trollhunters comic 'a secret history of trollkind' is how the amulet heals daya when she is blinded

So daya died in a fight against bluar when the mayflower set sail for america, in this fight bular uses his blade to turn dayas eyes to stone with the rising sunlight.

She responds by getting up and fighting back, saying "my eyes may not see but the amulet still gives me sight" and her eyes have blue magic glowing on them

Before we can learn more bular stabs daya in the chest and says "did your amulet see that coming" then throws daya in the sun and into the ocean

So is this a 'in lethal danger thing' or is it a thing the amulet just does?

That could explain Jim resisting being controlled by the decimared blade in the darklands and in the final fight, or explain how Jim isn't worse off while he fights trolls? Because they're made of stone and super strong

this ability obviously doesn't give total sun immunity, but it heals daya's eyes with magic? It's super strange and super cool at the same time

To add on to this in 'the felled' comic it shows one of blinky ancestors as trollhunter, 'araknak the agile' getting one of his arms lopped off by a gruesome (he also had a armour shield and an axe AND a weird stabby bow thing, not glaive, which is cool) and that arm stays chopped off, not healed?

So maybe it is a do or die thing

But I guess it doesn't really matter that much since they arent cannon to the show (atleast I think they aren't, don't quote me on it)

So, something I should clarify for copyright reasons, 'I Remember' technically (emphasis on that) takes place in the continuity established by "Trollhunters: The Secret History of Trollkind", the comic published by Dark Horse Comics. It's not 100% a complete copy, but it definitely uses said comic and its counterpart 'The Felled' as a baseline. I'd for sure recommend giving them a read if you're interested, they're really solid installments and have the same feel as the books they tie into.

Speaking of which, a HUGE thank you to @itsmergb for allowing me to use their version of Skarlagk the Scorned, theirs is a really great design and take on the character, I'm still shivering with hype ^^

Course, it's thanks to the work of @undeadchestnut that this has been brought to life for our enjoyment, so another big thank you to her as well :)

Have you ever dreamed that everything you love turns against you? It is a very strange sensation, and to wake up violently realizing that nothing is real, feeling like you are in a dream inside another. I think nightmares have been something uniquely rare in me lately, luckily they don't go beyond a scare and run

This is an old comic that I don't remember how long ago I drew it, but I'm sure it was more than a year ago and since I had nothing to do I just redraw it without changing anything
