I'm pretty sensitive when it comes to temperatures, so to be comfortable I have to make sure absolutely everything is perfect. Warm enough on certain parts of me, and cool enough on the other parts.

It’s so hard to say no to my sister Soso, because it’s true : she has nothing that makes her happy at home. She doesn’t even really have a home, just a destroyed room with no door or windows that ten people have been sharing for months for an outrageous price. Her spine is visible due to the lack of food, she has so many vitamin deficiencies because fruits, vegetables and meat are so expensive. She barely sleeps because of hunger and the bombs. She has no toys to distract her during the day. What can I do? I want to give her her childhood back, but all I can offer her is an overpriced watermelon at the cost of my own meals. It’s okay. If it’s for her, it’s okay. We’re used to hunger anyway.

But it’s unfair that she has to be used to it too. She’s only four years old. The war started before her third birthday. Her first memories are of this genocide, she doesn’t know anything else. My heart breaks for her. Please help me protect her and her smile. I cried because of the money spent but my heart was warm because of her sudden joy. I want to protect that.

Please help, I swear I’ll be thankful for anything. If you can’t afford to donate, then please at least share and I won’t ask more of you. Please.

Imagine you make a cake. And the cake turns out ok, and it's a bit wonky, but it's still a cake. Then someone says "I can make a cake like that!" but you know they can't. Will you let them try? Will you let them use all your eggs, and milk, and your kitchen, and make a total mess, and probably set the stove on fire?

You could try and help, but they won't accept the help because they know better than you.

That's the thing about modern reboots and remakes. You can't trust the people behind them, because they have no idea what they're doing. Just leave good enough alone.
