Planning Health Metrics

I weigh in whenever, usually Mondays, but also randomly throughout the week, up to like 4 times a week, depending on how I feel. But breaking up big updates quarterly is just another fun way to track and reflect. Besides, I'm not trying to redo my whole plan every week/plan. Slow and steady, and revamping every three months makes the most sense to me.
I'm actually terrible at remembering to do measurements, so of course that went in there. It's a week before the weigh in, but I also didn't take my first measurements for this year until like January 28th 😀 The end ish of every month is going to be measurement time. And there's nothing to "revamp" when it comes to measurements. I either lose weight, lose inches, or both so it's whatever.
Got about 5 weeks left this quarter, so I'm going to make them count. (I've been doing that, but you know what I mean.)

Gratitude Diary
It feels like it’s been a long week but I think that’s just because I’ve been pushing myself harder on my workouts. I’m now averaging 26mph for an hour on the bike and 4.3mph for an hour on the treadmill! I’ve certainly felt those workouts and hope that it means I’m making good progress! No Pay, No Gain

Hey, my name is Justin and I'll be your new personal trainer.
I work for the company - Getripped. Our company promises you to get in shape without even working out. How? Easy. Body swap with the personal trainer of your choice.
And that's what I do exactly. Whenever someone chooses me to be their trainer, we first set up and contract. The swap isn't cheap, so mostly celebrities choose our service. The contract states that both sides have to respect their bodies, to return them unharmed and well. Our bodies have a tracker to prevent body thefts, which happened quite often in the past.
On top of that, the person in our body has to respond everytime a notification rings on their phone. Its basically like BeReal. And if they don't send you their location and photo, they are charged extra.
Seems fine for both sides, right?

I gave myself a little show in the mirror for the last time before the swap. I really like my body and the way that I keep myslef fit. If everything was right, I would never leave this body.
But I really need this job, it pays extremely well.
I flexed, smiled and proceeded to head out for the swap.
I wasn't sure who I was gonna swap with, but the people who pick me are mostly men in their 40s with a lovely young girlfriend. Yep, you guessed it. They do use my body for sex as well.
The contract doesn't prohibit them to do so, but we can't do anything in their bodies.
I entered my pod and waited. The lights blinked and in the next moment I was on the other side of the room.
I stepped outside and saw my own body get out of the pod. He was shocked, seeing himself from my body. We always let the customers calm down and wait for their initial reaction to pass.
I found out that I was (indeed as I predicted) another actor in his forties wanting to get fit. We had a chat in the waiting room about our new lives.
What followed was a trip to the gym. I would show the client what I would work on in their body and they could get a feel of what it feels like to work out in my body.
Strangely, this seems to he the most efficient to not let them relapse after returning to their own bodies. It somehow changes their mind a bit and after the swap, they tend to follow their new routine more easily.
The actor, let's call him Bill, stood in front off me, watching me lift the weights. I got i to it and didn't even notice that he stepped in front of the mirror and started posing.

Yep. Another one of these. I bet my body is gonna have a lot of sex in the following months.

He lifted my shorts and flexed.
"HOLY SHIT. Am I gonna get this big too?"
Me:"The goal is to get you in shape, sir. So hopefully of all goes well, I should be able to get your muscle mass on my level or a bit close to it."
"GOD DAMN. You really sure about leaving me this body all to myself? I used to be quite the party animal when I was your age. I'm feeling a bit nostalgic."
Me:"How you'll spend your time in my body is up to you. All you need and can't do is in the contract. So my body is for you to enjoy."
"You learned your instructions nicely. I bet that you wouldn't even get your body close to me if it weren't for the money, right? But we all do what we gotta do to survive in this world. Anyway. Don't worry, son. I'll be respectful to your body."
Me:"Glad to hear that, sir."
"Would you mind if I would gl rub one our in the showers? Im gonna do it later anyway, but I really do feel like doing it now after all this posing."
I clenched my teeth, but didn't let him see my frustration. "Of course. I'll continue the workout."
He laughed and with a swaggy walk left the room.
It may seem crazy to let my body be controled by people like he is, but I gotta say that they usually treat it nicely.
We parted our ways. I arrived to my hosts massive house and explored. He was really one of the bigger ones. I checked his schedule of events. For the durarion of the swap it said - shooting the BIG movie. Yeah, right. But besides that my schedule was free. So it was entirely up to me how I would spend my time in this body.
I received his first random update the next day. My body was standing in a lake, flexing. Seems like he is enjoying his time in my body. He replied with a message. He left for 2 months long holiday in Europe.

Maybe he could take some good photos there for me to post on instagram. Or to my page at the company to get even higher paying customers.
It seems like this guy is really decent. He sent another photo in swimshorts. My body really looks amazing. I especially love to watch my pecs.

Maybe after all this swapping I developped some kjnd of fetish. But whenever the customers send photos of my body like knew of these, I get hard af.
I looked down and this time was not different. I exhaled deeply and thrusted my new hairy hand over my belly into my jeans. "Let's get on with it..."

Kunichuu where Katai finds out Kunikida is dating a high ranking mafia member and doesn't approve. He's protective over his friend, but knows Kunikida is too stubborn to listen to him. So, he just starts messing with Chuuya.
Suddenly, everything is giving Chuuya static shocks, his laptop keeps shutting down for no reason, he's getting deliveries for stuff he never ordered, his protein shake subscription cancels itself and his fitness tracker keeps deleting his workout progress.
One day Kunikida comes home to a very sulky Chuuya. He asks what happened and Chuuya explains he's been banned from his favourite gym after the treadmill suddenly hit max speed and flung him. Well, Chuuya's been so high-strung lately, he may have thrown a weight rack at the treadmill.
After Chuuya explains more of what's been going on lately, Kunikida puts two and two together and decides to pay Katai a visit.
Katai agrees to stop being a menace because he stopped disapproving of Chuuya while ago, as he saw how happy Kunikida and Chuuya were together. It's just Chuuya had such funny reactions, he couldn't help it.

BroTech EVO:1
Jared returned to his desk after lunch to find a package sitting on his desk labeled “BroTech” and he vaguely remember clicking on an ad for the company about a week ago. Opening the box, he saw that it was a fitness track “EVO:1 - Motivate, Grow, Evolve.”


Jared had always been on the heavy side and this wasn’t the first health fad he had bought into, but he figured it couldn’t hurt to try yet again. With no specific instructions, he took the tracker out of the box and put it on.
As soon as he had it around his wrist, he felt a tingling sensation run up his arm as messages appeared on the screen…
“Beginning full body fitness analysis….”
“Analysis complete. Calculating optimal fitness evolution path…”
“Complete. Click below to start your fitness evolution now!”
Jared clicked on large “Start” button and… nothing happened. A little disappointed, he went back to work and quickly forgot about the tracker.
As the end of his workday approached , the EVO:1 buzzed and displayed a message saying “Time to workout!” Again he felt a tingling sensation run up his arm the spread through his an entire body. As it had been a long day, he dismissed the message just wanting to wrap up work and go home. But the more he tried to concentrate on work, the harder became. He felt like he had just drank a dozen shots of espresso and was having trouble sitting still or concentrating. Finally he couldn’t take it anymore and remembering he had a change of clothes in the car, Jared headed off to the office gym.

Jared couldn’t remember the last time he had stepped foot in a gym as he had never been very active and was a little intimidated. Luckily the EVO:1 guided him through each exercise and soon he realized that he was actually was enjoying the workout.

Over the next few days, he began to fall into a routine of morning cardio and evening weight training all motivated by his EVO:1 and it’s comforting tingling reminders. He found himself focusing more and more on his fitness. Spending extra time in the gym instead of playing video games or watching Netflix. He couldn’t believe how quickly things had changed for him and the progress he was making.

Within a week, he felt like a whole new man… he felt energized and was crushing his workouts. He could hardly remember the days of wanting to sleep in and not hitting the gym.
Folks at the office began to compliment and even flirt with him… women and the men alike! And he LOVED the attention. He quickly began gaining the swagger and confidence to match his new physique.

Every morning he woke to a reminder from his EVO:1 to check his progress. And as the now familiar tingly pleasure spread through his body, he would admire his naked body in the mirror with it beautiful pecs, bulging biceps, and rock hard abs. But as beautiful as his body was, he wanted more… To have more muscle. To grow bigger still.

Working out as much as he did, Jared quickly out grew the equipment available at the office gym. He soon found himself joining a gym focused on weight lifting allowing him workout harder and continue growing bigger. He soon stopped hanging out with friends and co-worker, instead starting to spend more time with guys from the gym.
And it wasn’t long afterward that he quite his stuffy office job to focus on bodybuilding and became a regular in the bodybuilding competition circuit within a few months. His life now revolved around perfecting his physique with his old life being a distance memory. Jared had evolved to become the perfect muscle bro… and he couldn’t be happier.

it’s always a good idea to keep track of where your money is going and save when you can, especially if you’re looking to boost your finances and start taking charge of them. you can track your pay days, how much you receive, how much you can put away into savings, and budget the rest into what you’ll need until next pay day.
long & short-term to-do lists
a lot of us make daily to-do lists, but i also like to include long term to-do lists to keep track of the things i would like to achieve eventually. for example, a long term to-do would be to learn italian, while a short term or daily to-do would be to study italian for 20 minutes.
wishlist with a reward system
you may want to keep track of the things that you would like to buy for yourself, but if you want to be a bit smarter about it, you can make yourself a reward system tailored to your specific goals. for example, if your goal is to lose weight, you could allow yourself to spend a certain amount of money on your wishlist for every 5 or 10 pounds you lose depending on how much you’d like to lose.
books you want to read
i always see books i think look interesting or think i would like to read, but end up forgetting the title or where i saw it. you may want to keep track of the books you want to read and cross them off once you finish them.

if you are religious or spiritual in a way where you pray or meditate, you may want to make a list of the things/people you want to pray for or meditate on.
habits you want to start with a plan for each
it’s easy to say you want to start waking up earlier, eating healthier, taking care of your skin, etc. but it can be difficult to make those things part of your routine without taking small steps each day to get used to doing those things each day. have one broad habit in mind and figure out what it takes to get there.

mattsun is spotting hajime while oikawa heckles him (hyping him up, he’d say, but the music slamming in hajime’s ears makes the claim unverifiable). makki’s squatting beside him, sweat trickling down his temple, but he manages a smile and, when he rises again and puts down his weights, a wave.
hajime doesn’t notice, eyes trained intensely on the middle distance ahead of him, until you appear in his line of vision.
you look pissed, eyebrows scrunched together and hands on your hips.
he drops his weights. they land heavy, clanging against the catches loud enough that he can hear it even before he rips his earbuds out.
“what’d you say?” he furrows his brow.
“shirt off,” you say, pointing at him and flicking your finger in the air. “thanks.”
around you, his friends react with varying degrees of shock and laughter. you stay stone-faced, staring at him, folding your arms across your chest. you’re wearing a sports bra, like you’d just finished your own workout. sometimes you and he go to the gym together, but team activities are team activities, and oikawa likes to accuse you of trying to edge in on the boy’s team’s secrets, as though your own team isn’t reaching new heights of success under your captaincy. hajime feels his pupils expanding the longer he looks at you.
he complies, quirking a brow as he hooks his fingers in the back of his tank’s collar and yanks it over his head. you nod, looking satisfied, then hold out a hand.
“can i see your instagram real quick?” he bares his teeth in a smile at you, guessing where this is going, even if he’s not sure why. as much as you’ve danced around each other the last three years, neither of you have made a move.
something about the way he feels about you just doesn’t feel… urgent. like he’s just waiting for the universe to throw you together, for the right moment where everything clicks. he’s always wanted to take his time with you.
he guesses this is that moment.
he hands it to you, unlocked. you hand it back.
“your other profile.”
ah. it had started as a progress tracker, just a way to remember his exercises and maybe connect with others who were into that kind of thing. to his surprise, he had accumulated followers quickly.
a lot of followers quickly. oikawa called it his thirst trap account. hajime argued that he was just jealous because his beach volleyball videos hadn’t taken off yet.
he taps into his second profile, sliding open the camera function for you and giving you the phone back.
“good?”
“good,” you say, stepping into his space, over the forgotten bar, and for a second there’s nothing but light shared between the two of you, looking into each other’s eyes with pure fondness. then your lips curl into a coy smile and you put the hand not holding the phone on his chest and squeeze.
his pecs jump in surprise. you take the photo.
“thanks,” you say, letting go of him, but not stepping back. his skin burns where you touched him. he’s sure he’s gone deaf from the ringing in his ears. oikawa could be dead from shock behind him and he wouldn’t know. “my mom said you should come over for dinner later. she’s making adobo. see you then?”
“yeah,” he manages, “but tell her we’re going out for dinner friday. reservation’s at seven.”
“is it?” you eye him appraisingly. he pauses, glancing away from you to hit post on the photo. your phone lights up with a notification.
“it will be,” he promises, and reaches out to catch your chin in his hand, tilting your face back to him. “see you then.”

(I'll be posting the "discipline" ficlet later today hopefully, but you guys get some insight into it with this one). once again: this is the darkbull universe. it's not as bad as the kidnapping ficlet but it's not great either.
Carlos breaths out a slow breath, fingertips grazing the cool metal in front of him. Wheatley watches impassively from a few feet away, protective headphones around his neck.
"Your father ever teach you to handle those?"
Carlos remembers being small, holding BB pellets in his hands, but-
That had been for fun. Not anything serious, just boys being boys, trying to see who had the best aim, who could hit the furthest can.
Nothing like this.
He wraps his fingers around the handle and lifts, feeling the weight in his palms. It feels heavy, but not as much as it should.
Something with the power to so easily take a life shouldn't be so easy to lift.
"He didn't teach me with one of these, no."
Wheatley nods, stepping closer and rearranging Carlos's fingers around the handle.
"It's going to have some kickback. I don't want you worrying about bullseyes yet. I want you making sure your aim is steady."
Carlos brings it up in front of him as Wheatley raises his headphones up, placing Carlos's over his ears as well.
He widens his stance a bit, steadies himself as much as possible. Wheatley had been telling him about this part- shoot on exhale.
He focuses on the target and lets his thumb flick over the safety.
This is not what he thought he'd be doing when he joined Formula 1- not even close. None of it is. He didn't think he'd be content in a "junior" team, he didn't think he'd end up entangled in part of a historical criminal empire, he didn't think he would be in a three way relationship where only two of them know what's actually happening.
At least- he thinks it's three way. If it's not now, it will be soon. Daniel has been circling him and Max, like the moon orbiting the Earth. He gets closer each pass, eating meals with them or doing workouts together, and Carlos knows Max is head over heels, so it's really only a matter of time.
Max wants Daniel, just like he'd wanted Carlos, and he gets what he wants.
Always.
Max getting what he wants is why Carlos is here in the factory basement, learning how to kill someone.
Max has no idea about the way the factory revolves around him. He's their guiding star, their perfect pet, their number one driver.
Carlos sometimes finds himself wondering if Max even realized what was happening when he was seventeen. Probably not- Carlos remembers Max at seventeen, angry and defensive. Nothing like the Max of now, fierce on track but happy to roll over for the team, let them do whatever they want to him.
If Carlos hadn't been present in the factory to watch the slow progression, he almost wouldn't believe it. He has to respect Redbull for their patience, but-
He's afraid of how long they're willing to play the long game. They'd been so careful with Max. They'd gained his trust, and they'd gone so slowly it's no surprise Max didn't notice.
Holding onto him just a bit longer in a hug than someone normally would, a hand slipping lower on his back or higher on his thigh, palms around his neck- the slow removal of personal space, of boundaries- the way there are always eyes on him. Max is so used to being observed he doesn't even register it anymore.
Carlos had pressed him against a counter the other day, because Max had been sweet and desperate and wanting, and he'd had a moment where he worried that someone could walk in.
And then Max had whined into his mouth and begged for his fingers, and Carlos realized he didn't care. Max's flat is bugged, there are trackers buried deep into muscle and flesh, the team has never had any grievances about drugging him- if someone walks in on them, they'll probably just be glad to see Max has his needs met.
Just like he'd feared, someone had walked in- gotten their drink from the fridge as normal, winked at Carlos, and then left.
The only change afterwards was that Carlos felt like the team approved of him more.
So. He's been proving himself right lately.
Carlos looks at the target in front of him. Max is so- Max is naive, about the whole thing. The team works very hard to keep it that way, and that responsibility now falls on Carlos as well.
He tries to imagine someone breaking in, trying to hurt Max, trying to kill Max-
Redbull would go on a warpath.
Carlos thinks of Max laid out underneath him in bed, curled up with him on the couch, running next to him on the track. Fierce, syrupy sweet Max.
He thinks of someone else getting that Max, someone who's not Redbull, someone who hasn't put in the work.
There's a sharp flicker of possessiveness through him.
Carlos fires.

Two weeks later:
Carlos has his back leaned against the headboard, Max asleep between his legs, head resting on his stomach.
Daniel steps back out of the bathroom, passing Carlos a washcloth.
"He out?"
Carlos nods, fingers absentmindedly running through Max's hair. It's been getting softer since Carlos convinced him to start using conditioner. It's getting longer as well- enough that Carlos can tug on it gently, enough that the ends of it curl at the nape of his neck.
"Yes."
Daniel pulls on a pair of sweatpants and settles next to Carlos, careful not to shift the bed too much. They're both talking quietly.
"Well, we know he likes that."
Carlos huffs a small laugh.
"We should keep a list."
He means it as a joke, but the way Daniel tilts his head, eyes assessing- it might not be a half bad idea.
Daniel reaches over to the bedside table, tearing out a piece of paper from one of their smaller notebooks as he snags a pen.
His eyes shift over to Carlos, and he sounds contemplative when he speaks.
"Wheatley's added evening meets to my schedule for the next two weeks- said I should ask you about it."
Well, that answers a question Carlos had been wondering about, if Daniel had been trained already or not.
"He's going to teach you to shoot. Also some knife work."
Daniel snorts, eyes crinkling over at him.
"Nah mate, seriously, what's it about?"
Carlos lowers his head a bit, eyes flicking back down to where Max is asleep between them.
"I am serious. We are around Max a lot- we should know how to protect him just as well as the rest of the garage."
Daniel's eyes are wide when Carlos looks back up at him.
"Oh."
He carefully folds the paper up before sliding it back in the drawer.
"When did they start teaching you?"
Carlos hums, lightly scratching his nails across Max's scalp. Even in his sleep he makes a soft noise, burrowing slightly closer to Carlos.
"Right after we got together. The team is very observant about these things."
Daniel nods.
"And he seriously doesn't know anything?"
Carlos shakes his head, but it's somewhat fond. How Max has managed to remain completely oblivious is a feat in itself, and Carlos has his suspicions that Max purposely ignores things that don't make sense. Ignorance is bliss, or something like that.
"No idea. I think maybe he gets suspicious when the team is mad at him, but it is hard to keep track during that time. He gets very lost."
"Mad at him- like a couple weeks ago with the Williams incident? The only thing I noticed was that he was a lot quieter and had a hard time staying focused. If anything, the team seemed nicer to him."
Daniel sounds confused, which is fair.
"Daniel, that is the punishment."
Carlos needs to think of a way to phrase this that doesn't send Daniel running for the hills, cultlike crime empire team bosses be damned.
Carlos had thought it was bad too, when he'd first learned, but he's since then seen the positive effects. Max really does do better this way, with the positive reinforcement, but sometimes they have to... wipe the slate first.
"The Williams thing, he was reckless, yes? Was not thinking of his own safety on that overtake, and it crashed them both out. He was not thinking of his own safety because the pundits that week were talking shit about him."
Daniel still looks confused.
"They were talking shit about the whole garage, yeah. That weekend sucked."
"So the most recent thing in his brain is the media, for that race. Makes him race bad. The solution is to,"
Carlos flounders for a second. Christian had explained this much better.
"The team 'wipes the slate', if that makes sense. When he is lost or unfocused, it is because they are trying to remind him of the actual priorities. You will hear them remind him often about how we want him to drive. The repetitiveness-"
Carlos spins his index finger a few times to mimic the motion.
"-it sticks with him. He doesn't remember specific things from that time if they only happen once, but if everyone is telling him frequently to look out for his own safety in the car... much easier for him to remember, yes?"
Carlos brings his hand back down. It really does make sense, if you skip past the questionable ethics.
"And he does not like to be confused like that, so he tries to do what the team asks and avoid it."
Daniel's brows are furrowed, and he looks concerned- but also deep in thought.
"How the fuck are they doing that?"
Carlos shrugs.
"No idea."
He lets the topic drop, because he does know. Had even helped with it, after the Williams incident, because it helps Max, but Daniel-
Daniel isn't ready for that yet. Might not agree to the group effort of slipping things in Max's food and drinks, keeping him unsteady and disoriented. Carlos doesn't like doing it, none of the team does, but it's a necessary thing.
Besides-
He looks back down at Max. He's so trusting of all of them. Eager to please, thrives on praise- none of them could bear actually being angry with him. It still hurts the heart of the team when he's confused like that, and it's upsetting to see the way he gets disoriented and lost, but he comes out of it better. It's the right thing to do for him, and it works.
Daniel will get looped in when he's ready.

Girl I’m tryna get skinny for summer what do you rec??
I’d say fasting if you’re against one meal a day having 2\3 very satisfying and clean meals will keep you from eating extra calories. Cut out as much sugar and calories from what you drink THAT will shave pounds off you and will give you more calories to actually EAT . I have a calorie tracker but that can mess some people up so if you think you can handle it set your goal to what’s healthy for your height and age. Core work outs are ALWAYS beneficial it’s kind of sad when you’re not immediately getting results but any of those workouts that involve moving your legs will have you burning. The combo is kind of essential because you can lose weight with diets but working out will give you the tone and shape you’re probably looking for and working out won’t work if your diet doesn’t change (unfortunately) eating clean is hard and expensive so it really means eating as much meat and vegetables you can. TUNA SANDWICHES ARE AMAZING for satisfaction so much protein too. Sometimes it feels like you need to be rich to be healthy but it is possible I dropped over 30 pounds my freshman year in like four months.
