Today I decided to take out the Bhaalist cultists on the top floor of Felogyr's Fireworks. I'd attempted this a couple of times only to be thwarted by game crashes, so I wasn't about to beat around the bush. I detach Astarion from the party and cast Greater Invisibility and Pass Without Trace on him. Then, like any responsible vampire spawn owner, I send him upstairs to his most enriching environment: a room full of oblivious cultists whom he can murderise with impunity.

As the bodies begin hitting the floor, the various guards and staff decide that the three adventurers loitering suspiciously on their landing are the source of the problem, and engage them in combat. As long as I remain focused on Astarion, however, who is upstairs gleefully stabbing cultists, the guards can do nothing but glower at my party, weapons drawn, in Faerun's most awkward staring contest.

At last, one of the cultists rolls high enough to see through Astarion's invisibility, and Astarion gets shunted into the initiative order with everyone else. At this point, Avery the fireworks boss comes running upstairs, sees his staff brawling with us, and decides the only way to save his business is Explosions.

He casts Fireball. Gale fails to Counterspell. My screen fills with fire and 'Object took 74 fire damage!' notifications. Grimly, I look to the party portraits to see who needs healing, and... no one has lost a single hit point. Bewildered, I swap to Astarion to see what's happening on the top floor, and everything begins to make sense.

BG3, I have noticed, gets a little confused if anyone casts an AOE spell in an area that has two overlapping elevations. Such as the landing and top floor of a fireworks shop. Sometimes, it will ignore the conveniently clustered trio of adventurers that were clearly Mr Fireworks' target and sail impossibly over their heads to strike the upper floor of his shop.

The only PC up there is Astarion. Astarion, the rogue with Evasion, who can negate all damage from explosions by succeeding a Dex save.

The upper floor is the fireworks laboratory.

As the camera focuses and the smoke clears from the chain reaction of detonating firework crates, Astarion stands untouched and triumphant amid a pile of smouldering corpses. The remaining cultists burn feebly at his feet. So do the few unlucky guards who had made it upstairs. Avery, understandably stricken at the realisation that he has murdered his own staff and is winning worst boss of the year, runs into the corner and stands facing the wall.

We take out the few remaining employees, and I instruct Astarion to begin looting bodies. Immediately, a Flaming Fist guard sprints through the door to the shop, dashes past the multiple lightning-struck, radiant-flame-scorched, elemental-fist-pulverised corpses now lining the stairs, past the blood-covered adventurers on the landing, and attempts to arrest Astarion for theft.

Astarion, with a dozen bodies crumbling to cinders behind him, insists that the vial of deadly poison he's clutching was his to begin with, and that he wouldn't have had to steal it back if the guard would just get better at her job. He rolls a natural 20 on deception. Chastened, the guard relents.

We exit the firework shop. Not a single hit point has been lost.

i'm really curious about what marcille's mother's deal is. seems like she's not too big on the rest of elven society. here's what we know about her so far:

mage at a human royal court (adventurer's bible)

courtship with marcille's father donato lasted 17 years (adventurer's bible)

specialty is roast pork, which was also donato's favorite (chapter 81)

had a cheerful personality up until the point donato got too sick to eat his favorite food. her extreme emotional reaction to this left a lasting impression on marcille (chapter 81)

remarried to a gnome and moved away from the city at some point after donato died (adventurer's bible)

several portraits of her appear in marcille's nightmare (chapter 42); this is the second time we see marcille dream of her (chapter 3)

preferred non-elven food and didn't introduce marcille to any traditional elven dishes (chapter 74)

from the canaries' reactions in chapter 74, it appears elven society looks down on elves who go to live among and work for short-lived races. they seemed especially put off that she would have a mixed-blood child. when they're talking about the lyrikmumare to get marcille to trip up, marcille envisions her mother saying that the food "here" (i.e., the northern continent) tastes so much better. so the picture we're getting here is of an elf who has removed herself from elven culture, but the question is, did she do it willingly or was she forced to?

keeping her other actions in mind, i'm leaning more towards the former. the most intriguing thing for me is that she eventually married a gnome, despite elves and gnomes having infamously waged war against each other over differences in the practice of magic and presently tending to discriminate against the other on sight. (one thing's for sure — marcille's mother is winning the idgaf war!)

marcille never talks about her gnome stepfather though, and it's unclear what she thinks of her mother's remarriage. the timing of the remarriage is also a mystery. donato married marcille's mother when he was 32 (after having courted her for 17 years) and died at 82, meaning they were married for 50 years. marcille is also currently 50 years old, but we know she wasn't born immediately after the marriage: in chapter 81, donato's doppelganger says marcille was born when he'd started "getting on in years." based on marcille's memories of him and the established fact that the average tall-man lifespan is 60 years, i'd hazard that he was in his 50s then. this gives him 30 years or less with marcille — definitely less than 35, which we know is the age at which she left for the magic academy.

we don't know if marcille's mother remarries before or after marcille leaves (if before, than that's definitely a shockingly short time), but it's interesting that she chose to marry someone from a long-lived race this time. maybe this is her way of ensuring she spares herself another heartbreak? or maybe she *is* still heartbroken and is trying to cover it up.

but. i can't help but kind of agree with chilchuck in chapter 81, that marcille's parents are not blameless for marcille becoming the dungeon lord. since it's apparently well-documented, they surely must have known — as well-educated people — that mixed-blood children face not just discrimination but also mental anguish that comes with their unstable aging (not to mention the sterility). so the way they raised marcille feels frankly irresponsible 😭

anyway. i'd love to get spin-off content where post-adventure marcille and her mother meet again. i feel like there's a lot of unresolved issues there (that can of course be hashed out over a good meal).

But fr tho, it’s a lot. It’s mostly pertaining to the writing.

The reason why I hate modern Geronimo is in the biggest nutshell possible, they screwed up the original dynamic for the Stiltons, a majority of the books is just one big game of Geronimo torture porn between the other characters, and overall a lot of wasted potential for unique interactions between the wider cast and the rest of the Stiltons as its limited to just Geronimo himself. Hell a lot of the plots could have the input from the other Stiltons if they were brave enough. And there seems to be a new character every few books and there’s no rhyme or substance to it anymore. Since when did trap reproduce???

And you’re telling me von Volt has another relative???? Yk at some point you just stop reading the books. Oh and do not get me started on the Thea problem…

Let me start with the Stiltons real quick, somehow they got worse by watering down their personalities to a bunch of cheap jokes.

What made the classic (or early) books work was that the whole point of Geronimo’s character is that yes he’s a wimp, but that’s because he’s a tired boss who gets dragged into his family’s shenanigans, and by extension his friends and allies around him. Everyone has some eccentric personality that shocks or baffle him in some way, and that’s where the comedy comes from. He’s able to stand on his own because of his duties and eagerness to stay in his comfort zone is where the meat of the interactions come from.

His family especially Trap and Thea were meant to be respective foils to him. Trap consistently bullies him and Thea is meant to be the direct opposite of him, she’s the driving force in the group and has more pants to cover up what Gerry doesn’t have. She’s the one behind a lot of their adventures or scoops, hell she’s also the one who keeps finding them in the first place and drags her family and connections into them which makes sense because that’s her job and also where a lot of the plots start from. She fills out the spots that Gerry doesn’t have. Trap is just pure comic relief and is basically that outside force to the group. Hell the two even have a dynamic of their own where’d they just fight over the most trivial things and that makes us side with Geronimo more because of the ridiculousness of his family, that’s what made it click (to me). Highly recommend you read the early books, it shows the strongest character imo (#1-20).

Now Geronimo has all his autonomy stripped away and he’s been reduced to a nothing but a punching bag for everyone around him. I hope I’m not kidding here but try reading a classic book (let’s say #7 or #26) and compare it to the writing in a modern book (let’s say #46 or #74) it’s very jarring. They put more emphasis on different ways his day is ruined and give him no room to breathe or stand on his own. There’s just no charm to that anymore. There’s no fine line with his relationship with the other characters (Run for the Hills Geronimo is probably the worse one and represents everything I don’t like about the new dynamic)

Now over time that initial draw to action is also done by Trap, which I thought was cool because it still plays into the idea of Geronimo’s family dragging him into their shenanigans and the motives make sense to him specifically. It’s like he keeps getting calls from his relatives on schemes which is fun. But the more you keep reading the modern books the dynamic gets skewed over time and here’s the part I’ve been waiting for…Thea gets shelved completely. And now it’s somehow the GOD DAMN GINGER BROS SHOW?????

Now I think about it, Trap used to be a lot more clever in the classic books as well, he’s essentially a bumbling fool who keeps falling into the wrong situations to make a quick buck which slowly backfires on him. If you know me that well you know I’d call him a less scummier Grunkle Stan. The fact that there’s no Thea to balance it out or at least ground the dynamic to some level feels really annoying now.

You don’t really see much of her anymore as she’s either smiling at the back or doesn’t say more than five lines anymore, which is baffling because she’s the one who can pick up the pace the most. I really wished they showed more of her involvement again…They’re a trio, not a duo…and the books are suspiciously phasing her out to make room for the ginger bros fail routine and it ultimately feels very empty…there’s not much acknowledgement or involvement from her really like they could say she’s busy at mouseford or something but nope! Shelved completely without an explanation or a missed opportunity for a tie-in mention.

So far the only redemption I see is the Mayan Mystery one and the Soccer one where she had a more integral role which are way more recent but it still bothers me that they just shelved her for a majority of the modern run.

Listen if the modern books weren’t cowards she would SOLO all these people

she’d probably have an interesting dynamic knowing that she gets along with everyone well and is technically an adventurer. It’d be such a good parallel to her brother to play off of.

hell it’s even worse in the comics. Like there’s legit no acknowledgment of her at all, when trap is absent that gets an explanation but she’s just suspiciously…gone and the only time she does have a major role is when she’s used as a fake mask for a psyche-out to the villains (I’m sorry but if the comics are gonna pull that shit then I’m baited to believe that Thea and (cat lady) would have a homerotic switcheroo fight akin to Ms.Bellum and Sedusa. SHES THE TOUGHEST AND SMARTEST RODENT, USE HER GODDAMIT)

Idk man I tried reading some of the comics and it never worked out that much, again the dynamic feels suspiciously empty with zero acknowledgment. It’s not the Stiltons it’s just the fucking ginger bros for some reason. It doesn’t feel solid like it used to. I really can’t get into them which is a shame, and tbf why would I want to read a comic where Geronimo goes back in time and helps a colonist do his thing 💀

Look if there’s one character I don’t mind them putting in complete absence it’s probably the unaccompanied minors/s…Or Petunia which makes much more sense since she’s a family friend!

Look I actually like Ben and Bugsy as a duo, I think their whole concept is really wholesome, but the books don’t really push their parts that much, like there’s no meaningful interaction they have with the adults which is a lot of missed potential that or it’s just limited to Geronimo. Like listen I get that the whole point of the books was that it was from Geronimo’s perspective, but it’s not like everyone else was just “present”. They had more active roles and Gerry would just write all his observations down. You want a good example? The Mona Mousa Code.

Still…Benjamin had more charm and a bigger role in the classic books…that boy can hyper fixate and master niche skills in anything and was the emotional rock for Geronimo. But now he just goes along with his uncle being a punching bag routine :/ and I KNOW they could do a lot more for Bugsy here, especially since the paws are practically family friends.

But you know…I’ll do give it credit here this era has one of my favorite art styles in the series and notably the one I grew up with the most (classic books illustrations still hold more charm imo) but the way action and expression is illustrated is just *chefs kiss* there’s a certain bounce to it that makes it so memorable.

And I’ll do admit all those geography facts (even if it’s just basic facts I mean it’s a kids book) and long detailed lists or charts about a characters detail is really cool and somehow makes it more immersive.

And it’s really nice to see the universe get expanded.

But overall, the writing is not the same anymore, the original dynamic is screwed up, and lots of missed opportunity to round up the cast together. It’s either empty or I’m just getting too old…Maybe I’m just nostalgia-biased in different areas who knows. But that’s pretty all my thoughts I can pull out.

Jojos bizarre adventure part 1-3...

I don't know where to start with this, hahaha, wow. I only knew about Jojo's anime from the memes and shitposts, but now that I've decided to watch it, I must say it's very, very exciting. It's been a long time since I've had an anime marathon almost non-stop. Lately, I've been watching all the series calmly and patiently, but the urge to watch Jojo's has made me watch 74 episodes in 4 days. Honestly, I don't have much to say; I'm enjoying it so much, and just knowing that this series had the guts to kill off 3 characters from its main cast makes the situations really tense. For example, I suffered a lot during Polnareff's fight against Vanilla Ice; I was so tense watching that fight, and Jojo's managed to do what only very few anime have been able to do... make me cry. Yes, I cried at Iggy and Avdol's deaths. And don't even get me started on the fight against Dio; I practically lost all my nails there, hahaha. I'm finding it really good, and the best part is now I know that the shitpost scenes floating around the internet actually have a relatively logical context; I finally understand why they say breathing is a Jojo reference. Oh, one more thing, Part 1 didn't seem bad to me at all, and so far my favorite moments of the whole series are: Caesar's death and his entire fight against Wamuu, Iggy's fight against Petshop, Polnareff's fight against Vanilla Ice, and consequently Avdol and Iggy's deaths, and lastly, Dio's defeat.

Just to preface, this might be the only fic where I will use the name ‘Jay’ instead of ‘Christian’ as it makes more sense with a nickname he has. In future, it’ll probably be back to Christian but if people like hearing ‘Jay’ instead, please let me know!!!

This fic will include three different endings which will be linked at the end for your viewing pleasure. I’m curious about trying a ‘choose your own adventure’ style with my writing so think of this as a precursor to that experiment. Let me know what you guys think, if you like it or not!

“Right, I just need to make a call then we can get going into the arena, okay?” Jay said, putting his bag down as he headed towards the pay phone on the wall. You watched as he dialled the numbers to call whoever it was he needed to phone. Sighing, you walked over with his bag, leaning against the wall next to him.

“Yeah hi, I needed to ask a question about my rental car that I’m picking up soon?”

You tuned out the rest of the conversation, picking at your fingers while you waited. By the sound of his voice you guessed that it was going to be a long call. The longer it went on, the grumpier his face got. Since getting with him, you noticed that he tended to play with his hair when he was stressing about something which was exactly what he was doing at that moment. You pouted slightly at him while he weakly smiled back, rubbing your arm to let you know that he was…well he was trying to get through it. Finding yourself getting bored, you stared at the ceiling while trying to think of something to do. Then an idea popped in your head. Evil but fun. For you at least.

Turning around and backing up, you pressed your back against his chest. His initial thought was that you were just wanting a cuddle so he wrapped his free arm around you, pulling you that little bit closer, resting his chin on your shoulder as he continued on the phone. You arched your back slightly, pushing your rear right into his crotch while slowly and gently rubbing against the cloth. Jay gasped quietly, gripping onto you as you teased him. You continued to grind on him until he finished on the phone, walking out of his tightened grip once he had hung up.

“Come on, babe, we better get you to the changing room so you can get ready!” You teased, walking ahead and picking up his bag for him with a giggle. You could feel the tickle of his breath from his nose and the warmth of his cheeks the longer he stayed attached to you. But just as you were about to allow him access to the inside of your mouth, a familiar voice broke your trance:

“Hey Jaybird, quit being a horn-dog and get in here! We gotta get ready.”

Adam slunk back into the changing room with a snorting chuckle, pleased that he had managed to get on his best friend’s nerves. Again. Jay grumbled as he took his bag, whispering that ‘I’ll come find you in a little bit, baby girl’ in your ear before planting a final kiss on your cheek and leaving you in the hallway. Sighing, you walked towards the cafeteria where most wrestlers who were early were sitting. You could already feel his absence but you saw another familiar face who lifted you out of that brief loneliness.

Gangrel, or David as you occasionally called him if you felt like it, sat alone at one of the tables just minding his own business, reading his book. He was already in his gear, his clean white shirt covering his upper body. Briefly glancing up, he noticed you beginning to walk towards him with a smile on his face. You shared a chat while you waited for Dumb and Dumber to finish getting ready. Gangrel always made you laugh as he’d always remind you: “listen, listen. If he ever gives you any trouble, any whatsoever? You come find me. And I’ll go straighten him out. Mmhm, uh huh, yes I will! You’re my little star and I’m not going to let anything bad happen to you! Luna will kill me if that happens.”

He truly was a character.

Finally the boys came over, shoving each other and laughing about something nonsensical. Jay plopped himself next to you, his cologne quickly finding its way to your nose as he rested his arm over your warm shoulders. He looked drop dead gorgeous in his black shirt and gold tights, sunglasses perched on his nose as he sipped at a bottle of water. He reached over to plant a wet kiss on your cheek, much to the fake disgust of his teammates. The three boys started discussing their upcoming match that night, talking about what best way to get to the finish within their time limit. Once again, you tuned the conversation out being not totally familiar with the ins and outs of the business.

Deciding to tease Jay again, you carefully placed your hand on his thigh under the table, earning a slight jolt of surprise from him at the sudden contact. He opened his leg to you with his knee rubbing against the side of yours, sucking in air between his teeth. From the corner of your eye, you noticed Adam giving you an amused glance as he quickly figured out what Jay was reacting to. He said nothing towards your actions as he continued listening to Gangrel talk about the match. Slowly, you slid your hand up Jay’s leg allowing your fingers to slip down to his inner thigh as you moved closer and closer to the aching stiffness between his legs. He angled his hips forward subtly to try and get you to move your hand up north. To where he desperately needed your touch. But instead? You moved your hand to his knee, not wanting to give him the satisfaction of pleasure this early. Jay groaned in frustration a lot louder than he anticipated, earning the attention of the boys.

“Something wrong, squeaky?” Gangrel questioned, fangs giving him a slight lisp. Adam smirked knowingly while trying his absolute best not to outright blurt it out and embarrass the two of you. Clearing his throat to try to pass it off as a cough, Jay nodded with a smile. He didn’t trust himself to speak, fearful he might reveal what had been going on. The time to start heading towards the lift to do their entrance was drawing closer by the minute. As the four of you got up to start walking that direction, Jay took a moment to pull you aside, announcing that “we’ll catch up with you, just need to make a pit stop!”

He waited until they were out of earshot before pinning you to the wall by your hips in the now empty hallway. His face was desperate with desire, high pitched whines spilling out of his lips as he pressed them to your ear, his cock already aching against the fabric.

“Please, baby,” he whispered in between his pathetic noises, “I’m begging you. Don’t tease me. You know I’m not going to be able to hold out and wait for too long.”

As their music blasted from the arena speakers, you made your way back to the cafeteria to watch their match on the tv.

Comics, art, and non-canon extras for "ENNEAD" by Mojito

There are a number non-canon side comics and extras that Mojito has put out for her boy's love manhwa ENNEAD. Some are available in the official release online and in the physical edition of season 1, and others are only available via Mojito's twitter. I'll summarize about them and link to what I can below. If you'd like to read the manhwa, I have a Tumblr post and carrd for how to do that.

Seth and Anubis hiding from Nephthys

This is seemingly the only canon side comic, and relates to Anubis' character interview (discussed below). Seth and Anubis hide from Nephthys around Heliopolis, and fall asleep. It's available in full in Korean on Mojito's postype (scroll down past the Anubis interview). It was also included in the Korean and Taiwanese print editions of season 1.

Character Interviews/Question & Answer

Mojito did a series of interviews/Question & Answers for the ENNEAD cast based on reader survey questions from August 24, 2020-September 27th, 2020 through WitchComics' twitter and the Naver website. Seth, Horus, Osiris, Isis, Nephthys, and demigod Anubis were all "interviewed" for this. Part of Seth's interview is available in Korean on Mojito's postype, along with part of Anubis' interview. These were included in the Korean and Taiwanese print editions of season 1.

Season 1 Extra non-canon comics

At the end of ENNEAD season 1, Mojito posted two non-canon short story AUs, one for each version of the manhwa. The manhwa has a censored (15/16+) version and an uncensored (18/19+, mature) version. The numbers stand for age ratings. Tiny AU is episode 74 of the censored version, and R19 AU is episodes 74-75 of the uncensored version.

Season 1 Uncensored Version Extra: R19 AU/Dark King Horus AU

The R19 AU (named because the uncensored version is rated for 19+) is about an older draft of the main story where Seth is colder and Horus hates him. After the trial, Horus takes Seth as his prisoner and tortures him.

Season 1 Censored Version Extra: Tiny Seth AU

The Tiny Seth AU has Maat punishing Seth at his sentencing by making him tiny. Horus keeps him as a prisoner and mostly messes around with him (sometimes with Isis joining in).

The Cat with God as Butler

Mojito created a series of non-canon comics featuring Anubis adopting a female cat named Simba, who was also generally adopted by Seth and Nephthys. The comics featured hijinks involving the cat's adventures, mostly with Seth (but also sometimes involving Anubis, Nephthys, Osiris, and Bastet). The first comic is available on Mojito's twitter in Korean. The series was originally published physically around 2017 or earlier, and planned to be re-released in full online, but ultimately cancelled by March 8, 2022. But, Mojito announced on March 18th, 2023, that the complete The Cat with God as Butler would be put out again, seemingly on sale, after completion/full publication of ENNEAD Season 2. Simba has also appeared in the canon on a wall in Khemmis in Season 1, Episode 60.

Nephthys/Isis Comic

Mojito released a short comic with Nephthys/Isis on her twitter to commemorate 1.5 million views on ENNEAD.

Parody of Sky Castle

Mojito released a two-part comic featuring the ENNEAD cast in a parody of the drama Sky Castle, located in full on Mojito's twitter. (Part 1, Part 2)

Parody of Heungbu and Nolbu

Mojito released a two-part comic featuring the ENNEAD cast in the folktale Heungbu and Nolbu, located in full on Mojito's twitter. (Part 1, Part 2). It was translated into English officially for the first time for the release of volume 2 of ENNEAD in English, with Seven Seas.

Extra Art

Mojito has released a great deal of extra art over the years, for fun or to commemorate events. Most of these are available on her twitter. Some art was made into official merchandise, which you can still buy via Koonbooks, which is an overseas official vendor.

Tarot Card Set

In 2019, Mojito made an ENNEAD tarot set, which was released in limited amounts by Seoul Comics, and has been sporadically released by them over the years as rewards for contests that are largely only available to Koreans. The art was also used for the "Which ENNEAD character are you?" quiz that mcomics put up a while back.

This is different from the fan-created set by Studio Papyrus, an ENNEAD fanworks group.

Modern Short Hair Seth

Mojito drew a modern version of Seth in 2021, with short hair.

Chibi versions of the Horus lettuce marriage proposal

Seoul Comics also turned this into enamel pins. These are based on the myth where Horus comes on some lettuce/Isis spreads his seed on some lettuce, which Seth eats, as a way to show Horus' dominance in the trial for the throne of Egypt.

Anuseth contest art

There was a contest in June 2022 for readers to vote on one of the four tops (Osiris, Horus, Foreign God, and Anubis) for Mojito to draw art of with Seth. Anubis won, and the resulting artwork is available for free on the Korean version of the manhwa between Season 2, Episode 44 and Season 2, Episode 45.

Sometime prior to March 22, 2021, Mojito answered couple checklists for Horus/Seth, Anubis/Seth, and Osiris/Seth in Korean, essentially explaining how the characters act in a relationship. Top 10 Tarlos Scenes of All Time (so far) Results

This was another hard one! Since it combined all the winners of the other polls, it was inevitable that every single option was going to be someone's favorite. In my opinion, the top 5 is pretty solid and hard to argue with. The proposal scene [voted for by 88% of people] and the soulmates scene [voted for by 84% of people] came in first and second place. To me, these are the two best Tarlos scenes, so I agree wholeheartedly with the majority of voters here.

Then, following in third and fourth place, we have the coma wakeup scene [voted for by 74% of people] and the police station scene [voted for by 67% of people]. Two more iconic and incredible Tarlos scenes!

And then the fifth spot goes to the wedding ceremony [voted for by 56% of people]. TK is the greatest adventure of Carlos's life! Carlos makes TK feel whole! Carlos is going to be the caretaker of TK's wild heart! And TK is going to take care and nurture Carlos's heart as if it was his very own! 😭 It's pretty hard to argue with that.

The rest of the top 10 was also extremely close, with some scenes even tying in number of votes. There are scenes that I would personally put in the top 10 that didn't make it, yet I have a hard time saying that any of the top 10 don't deserve to be there. The two Tarlos sex scenes, "you're my hot mess," "we make a pretty good team," and the 3x08 tarmac reunion...it's hard to say that any of those aren't top 10 material. What we really need is more than 10 places in the top 10!

Round One: Australotitan vs Mansourasaurus

Name meaning: Southern titan from Cooper Creek

Time: ~95 million years ago (Cenomanian to Turonian stages of the Late Cretaceous)

Location: Winton Formation, Australia

Nicknamed “Cooper” by its discoverers in 2005, Australotitan was big news on the Australian dinosaur scene for years before its discovery because it was clear this dinosaur was Huge. It took 5 years of preparation and 10 years of study and reconstruction before Cooper was finally published in 2021, and secured its official title as the largest Australian dinosaur known to science! While exact weight measurements for titanosaurs are extremely difficult, it fits into the same size class as other newly-famous giants like Dreadnoughtus and Patagotitan. The bones themselves show signs of being trampled over by a convoy of smaller sauropods that left a 100 metre fossil trackway over the site. Honestly, the disrespect to an icon like Cooper!

Mansourasaurus shahinae

Name meaning: Shahin’s Mansoura reptile (after Mansoura University and honouring Mansoura University Vertebrate Paleontology Center founder Mona Shahin)

Time: 74-72 million years ago (Campanian stage of the Late Cretaceous)

Location: Quseir Formation, Egypt

Mansourasaurus was described in 2018 from bones found as the Dakhla Oasis in Egypt, and known from the most complete fossil skeleton of any vertebrate found so far from the latest Cretaceous of Africa! It was modest-sized by titanosaur standards, at roughly 10 metres long and weighing about 5 tonnes, but some bones of the skeleton being unfused means this was still a juvenile, and potentially had a lot more growing to do. Unlike other African titanosaurs, Mansourasaurus seems not to have been from a local family, and instead fills sort of an “exchange student from a European family” kinda role. All of its closest relatives form a clade of titanosaurs known only from Eurasia, but Mansourasaurus decided to be a bit adventurous and take a trip abroad for some reason. What makes this weirder is trying to figure out how it got there, since at the time Africa was fully not attached to Europe at the time. It’s possible that its ancestors swam to Africa via island-hopping since Europe was an archipelago at the time, which is absolutely wild!

I am not dead just severely busy! Days 74-109. I have so much to talk about this time!

So at work (Can't show that due to NDA) I've been bug chasing, and ultimately having to restructure many classes and methods to make one function work as intended.

Then for my C# final I'm still working on my .Net Maui project I finished the journals implementation, and added the event reporting function. I added the events to the journal entry for the day. If there are no entries yet it makes one. I am going to be using the library of microcharts that were used in xamarin (before Xamarin got depreciated into .Net Maui) now it can be used for .Net Maui. I'll be capturing data gathered in the journals to display on graphs to track progress in sleep disorders. At a later time I'll be getting it set up to grab information from sleep tracking apps on mobile.

In C++ my final is to make a game. I am making an adventure game where you can explore a village. It has lore, Easter eggs, and fun imagery (it's a console game unfortunately can't do Unreal). I have to change the code a bit but it has been fun to code!

I might have a contract role coming up for another game studio, so that's exciting.

My plans for the next few days is to get some functionality on the statistics tab in my Maui app, and get my C++ project more put together. At work I'm waiting on the senior dev to plan out how to fix the massive problem we have.

Born on Earth 2, she is the daughter of Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle. A lawyer by day, but by night, she is the vigilante known as Huntress, who's been a member of the Infinity Inc. and the Justice Society.

Follows the adventures of the first iteration of Helena Wayne, a resident of the original Earth Two, where the Golden Age stories took place. The multiverse as we knew it was eventually destroyed during the events of Crisis on Infinite Earths, and within it so was Earth Two.
