It has been a while since I felt like revisiting KGY in the show itself but a recent viewing of a real-life documentary (in the US) on how police turned victims/survivors of sexual assault into suspects/convicts on false reporting turned my stomach and made me so angry. (Also hopeful and helpless).
(And made me think of KGY, so well, here comes my fixation again).
There is nothing I love more than KGY’s unapologetic, righteous anger on the show because she represents so much of that justified anger at the people and system (which she is a part of yet also actively rebelled against). For a show with ‘fantastical’ elements of supernatural evil and ghosts/devil, The Guest is unironically steeped in painful and recognizable realism (as are a few other KDramas which deal with similar issues).
So I revisited a part of Ep 4 and am reminded again why I love KGY and the show so much. Ep 4 was especially impactful from a KGY fangirl POV because we learned so much about her. Her tenacity, kindness and compassion, intelligence, recklessness, audacity, courage as well as her beautiful, righteous anger are all so well-strung and fitted together.
Loved her fight with Go-sunbae, and the casual dinner they shared later. Choked full of wonderful, brilliant and insightful character moments. Reliving a fangirl feels - even if only for brief moments - is heaven.

the truth is, between the capes, broad shoulders, and armor, the Trinity really do look the most regal and dangerous out of almost all of the Justice League members. sure, there are others who look intimidating or powerful, but the three of them? they look royal.

I love doing What Pride Had Wrought with Solas because he starts gossiping about the Evanuris and it's the most suss he's ever been.
He successfully maintained his cover as a nondescript scholarly wanderer for most of the Inquisition but needs to break character completely to tell everyone that Falon'Din was a vain idiot.
