Question ...if fairies rely on desire to feed,would Dev be a GOOD food source or a terrible food source? Does desire come from wishing or wanting more, essentially. Because dev like.. Has all he can want except his dad's approval ,so how does that work?

Fairies' food comes from the innate emotion a person has while Wishes are just the only way Fairies can pull the emotions (food) out!!!

The more the desire is out of reach, the more delicious it is, and the longer the fairy can go without needing another meal. It's simply easier to harvest from children because they have big emotions, and weak minds and impulses. A child can say "I wish" more openly than an adult does, making it easier for Fairies to cultivate.

Dev's one of the best food sources there is. In fact, he's able to feed a family of 5 for at least 8 months! However, he's also one of the worse sources to collect from because his desire is noncollectable by magic.

Which means you'll need an expert high-class, high-ranking Fairy Godparent who can siphon out his Desires into smaller parts via multiple smaller wishes!

people on tumblr will literally post things like “you have to eat vegetables and expand your palate i dont care if you are a picky eater because of autism (if i can overcome it you can too)” and everybody will reblog it being like “yes this is true for everybody no matter what” and think its okay. like sorry but that wont work for everyone and there is no one size fits all and some people will never be able to eat these things no matter how hard they try. im only allowed by my doctors to eat recreationally and not for nutrition, because my ARFID is so severe that i get my nutrition solely from a specially made formula drink. your suggestions of “try vegetables roasted!” or “try them in soup!” and assurances of “i did it, you can too!” don’t work for those of us with more severe mental illnesses and disabilities. stop tying a person’s worth to their diet and stop assuming everybody has the ability to do what you can.

I keep seeing Wei Wuxian slander (libel?) And I won't stand for it. Wei Wuxian is not a bad cook. He just happens to cook food that is very spicy because that's how he likes it. Other people who like spicy food would probably also like it, and people who are not used to spicy food will not. This does not make him a bad cook, this just makes his food toxic to people like Lan Wangji (and me)

He does! He brags about Timmy's success to every person within the neighborhood's vicinity. Mr. Turner loves how successful his son is! It really secures his reputation at the neighborhood HOA meetings they host at their house.

Timmy's worked very hard to gain more successes than failures. The more successful he is, the greater his family's social standing!! And the less he gets to overhear his dad ranting to the neighborhood about his failures.

i'de love to hear a full step by step of your daily pet chores if you ever feel like writing it out

You asked for this anon. I tried to think of all my usual shit but obviously there’s other things that need to be done too. I didn’t even talk about shit that isn’t directly pet related like mopping but I have to do that way more often bc of the absurd number of animals I have

In the morning I am a zombie so I keep it simple. The cats get fed. Bianca, Kenny, and Val all eat closed in different rooms bc they’re on special diets. The others eat in the main part of the house but I have a special order I have to fill their dishes in to keep the peace.

Valentine gets 3 supplements mixed into his food in the morning, he also gets 1 capsule, and 2 oral liquids. I leave him to eat for 15 minutes and then check on him. If he’s finished his food I give him more and wait another 15 minutes. When he’s done eating I have to clean up his leftovers or someone else will eat them and get sick.

If I have time in the morning I feed the birds, if not I just feed them at lunch time. Also at lunch time I feed Stanley and do the pet waters. Fountains get cleaned and refilled 3 times a week, every other pet water is scrubbed with soap and water daily. I also feed Valentine lunch. Same deal where I check after 15 minutes and feed him more if he’s finished it.

In the evening the cats get fed again and medicated. Arthur gets eye drops, his face cleaned, and his anxiolytic. Kenny gets his anxiolytic. And Valentine gets 3 supplements mixed in his food, 1 tablet, and 3 liquid meds. I also give him subcutaneous fluids every evening.

Valentine also gets his diaper changed as needed as well as a bath every day or every other day.

Litter boxes get checked daily and cleaned as needed. They’re basically all dumped and replaced daily or every other day.

Josie and Otto don’t get fed daily, only as needed. I check Otto’s water parameters twice a week and do water changes as needed.

I wash bird food dishes with soap once a week or as needed. Cat food dishes get washed with soap every other day. Cat beds and blankets are washed once a week.

Oh, also right now Joey is getting a medication twice a day. Hopefully we’ll be able to stop that in a few months.

Okay actually one last thing! Valentine gets another meal before I go to bed. It’s his late night snack
