Jason was cursed. That was all he really knew.

Stalking through the shadows was second nature to him thankfully. He didn't know how the others would react if they saw him like this but he needed help to reverse whatever this was.

Maybe if he took out some criminals the other bats would realize he wasn't exactly what he seemed and prompt an investigation. Luckily for him there was an armored vehicle being robbed nearby.

He enjoyed the screams of terror let out by the two remaining robbers once they spotted him. Taking out the first few had been easy but now he needed to play with them until one of the other bats appeared. Jason was playfully dodged bullets, prompting one of the robbers to swear, "I was expecting sassy bats, not Tony the Tiger on steroids!"

"Forget the money man!" The other said as he rushed on top of a nearby dumpster "I don't wanna be eaten!"

Twack!

Dumpster guy went down with a thud as Red Robin landed nearby, bo staff at the ready. Great! Tim will probably notice the unconscious but very not dead people at Jason's feet...paws...and understand that Tigers don't just do that. Especially ones big enough to place a saddle on and ride like a horse.

Fortunately thats exactly what happened, unfortunately tim came to the assumption that Unnaturally large tiger + targeted attacks + enhanced intelligence = escaped animal experiment. It makes sense and Jason is mad he didn't think about it which lead to him having to run from Tim as his little brother tries to sedate him from a distance so he can take the giant tiger to the zoo.

A zoo! They were actually going to put him in a zoo! Jason whirled around, finding himself cornered by Tims gadgets and cunning, only for Tim to stop, appear confused and start looking for Jason even though he was right in front of him.

A tapping on his paw had him looking down.

There, next to the furry orange of his foot looked to be a liquid shadow with Lazarus green eyes. I can explain. The shadow said, but we need to get away from the bird first.

Once they were safe from the bats the shadow introduced himself as Phantom and revealed he had been cursed by the same person who cursed Jason and proposed they they worked together to remove thier curses and defeat the person who did this to them.

Jason had no objections and Phantoms powers were very useful, even if he was stuck as a liquid shadow. Jason's curse was difficult to break but they managed to get it halfway so where Jason could shift between man and beast like a werewolf, Phantoms wasn't so easy.

Phantoms curse actually removed parts of his spirit and embedded them into precious gems and jewelry across the globe. It sounded like a hassle but from what he gathered about Phanton was that he was a recently deceased teen and Jason wasn't about to just abandon him.

What if Little Baby Man was Danny’s true form? See, he way younger than the other ghosts. Just a lil baby ghost! And his Little Baby Man form is the physical representation of his true (ghost) age—which is like… 2 years old. An INFANT.

So it’d take years—maybe decades—for to outgrow his infant form cuz ghosts are basically eternal.

Hence, a little gremlin from green hell.

reality: i spend six hours staring at my screen, trying to make the lighting look right

anyway, this is kind of a canon divergence of your canon divergence lol. basically the children get yeeted to another hollow knight universe, the more-closely-canon-but-not-completely-canon universe, where the sequence of events leading up to hallownest’s downfall is the canon version of it, but due to the yeeting of the children, the events that would be canon go astray, such as what is happening in the drawing and broken vessel’s corpse becoming infected twice (hint hint to more fanart i might make ehe). that was a really long sentence.

Dear Amity Parkers,

Enough is enough! We were trying to create a way to supply locally sourced and cruelty free ectoplasm to the humans in a way that would benefit us all, but no! The humans had to escalate to hunting down baby ghosts and coming at my neighbors with knife straws! Knife straws?! No more ectoplasm for you; you've lost that privilege.

Rip and I are working with a number of other local ghost to help evacuate any and all ghosts back to the Infinite Realms if they so desire. This includes all low level ghosts, blob ghosts and the new baby ghosts that have been created in recent days. We are here for you!

@newudistopia and Crayon, hold out the best you can. We're trying to find a way to get around the Fenton's and get Rip inside so they can open a portal for you.

We'd appreciate any and all help from volunteers! Phantom is only one kid; it's up to the rest of us to help each other. If you can't help with the evacuation efforts, then at least spread the word. @lance-thunder-reporting-live, we'd appreciate a signal boost. We want every ghost in Amity Park to know that help is available.

A final warning to the humans: I may not like fighting, but if I have to go full franken-monster to defend someone, I will. Your ecto-weapons don't work on me. My body's physical, not spectral.

CBS Ghosts - Pilot - Baby Ghost Teasing for Trevor

The second scene we see of the ghosts is Trevor telling some story about his party days.  It’s quite the change from the solumn Trevor we see in the first scene.  It’s interesting to see the difference between his first and second scene - it’s also interesting to see the responses to Trevor’s story over the plan for Thor’s Cod Lecture.  

The other ghosts seem invested in Trevor’s story - even if it’s to heckle him (like Hetty asking about Tara Reid, Alberta asking if it was silent or talking, Isaac asking about a movie again, and Sass asking about projection).  Given how bored they are and that Trevor “has been through this” & how quickly they adapt to TV and movies later on.  They interrupt just to make it fun.  It’s almost like they’re teasing him just because he’s the baby ghost.  

We see similar instances of this later on - when they heckle him about spying on livings in “Spies” but then turn around and watch Trevor’s parents in “Trevor’s Body”.  We also see that even Thor who constantly says “landship” knows what a car is, but does it just to annoy Alberta & Sass.  

This is why the second scene is extra hilarious knowing that they’re just trying to drive him crazy.  It’s especially funny because he kind of acts like the baby - he’s used to the teasing and sighs heavily when he sits down, but he doesn’t let it affect him.  I think the reason I like this so much is because I get it - I’m the youngest of Five, I have a slew of nieces/nephews and now great nieces/nephews and I’m always the one being picked on - so it’s funny to see the found family dynamic with Thor as the oldest and Trevor as the baby ghost.  

I love it.  Side note - I totally love that he’s acting out what a movie is. And that Sass and Alberta are together thinking “god not cod!”  (Especially after the scene in Isaac’s Book).  

Also, because I’m ALWAYS thinking about HMoney, I enjoy the fact that he’s mentioned Tara Reid multiple times before this first scene (He said they’ve been through this) and yet, she does it, again, in Trevor’s Body because she wants his attention.  Which may or may not have to do his sadness with regards to the opening scene with Sophie and/or because she’s a bit attached to him or likes him.  I still have some idea that the groundwork for HMoney was always there.  

Side Note - anyone find it funny that Pete’s in charge despite being the 2nd youngest ghost?

Simon and Tommy had a complicated relationship as brothers. 

At a young age, Simon basically wrote himself off as a lost cause, and did the best he could to make sure at least Tommy had a chance to be a functioning human being. After all, Tommy was the gentler brother, the dreamer, the one who looked like their mother (who'd walked out on them years ago to escape their father). But Tommy got bitter, got sick of the one always being protected, being babied. He lost respect for Simon, for the way he wouldn't fight back, and in a twisted way, grew closer to his father as a way to learn how to be powerful, strong. It backfired, and Tommy got wrapped up in some bad business.

Simon's kid brother died while he was deployed. He got the news in the letter, and it broke him in a big way. In the story timeline, it was years and years ago but it still hurts like hell whenever Simon thinks about him.
