When Maddie gave birth to Danny, she gave birth to twins. Unfortunately, one of the nurses didn't think she and Jack were parents material, and faked one of the twins deaths.

It was simple. There was another couple, both who had black hair and blue eyes, who had given birth to a stillborn the other doctors had taken away to attempt to resuscitate. They hadn't succeeded, and they were trying to steady themselves to tell the parents.

One John and Mary Grayson.

The nurse just...waited until the area was clear. All she needed was two minutes, maybe less. She might not have been able to save one of the twins, but this one she could save from being raised by a madwoman.

She swapped the babies.

She then came back with the stillborn and told the Fenton's it was one of the twins, happy and satisfied that she'd saved at least one of them.

John and Mary Grayson were told that their son had started breathing on his own, and that it was a miracle.

No one knew anything, because no one thought to look for anything. The doctors were so relieved that little Richard Grayson was not only alive, but had no neurological complications from lack of oxygen, that they didn't look into it. The Doctors that attended the Fentons were so relieved that the other twin hadn't fallen to SIDS that they, too, did not look into it.

No one told Danny that he'd had a twin in the womb. It didn't seem relevant.

One day, many years later, Dick decides to take an Ancestry test to see how many relatives he has.

John and Mary Grayson are not in the results at all.

Just thinking about how many kids got emotionally fucked up because of the failed baby-swap. Like, Adam is the Antichrist, so he’s messed up for life, the Them have been happily following around the literal son of Satan, Greasy Johnson ended up in another family altogether, and then we get to Warlock. Kid has a weird-ass name that means ‘traitor’ and then had two of the oddest beings in the universe raising him with diametrically opposed beliefs. Like, think about it — he was actually taught that he would have the ability to destroy the planet at some point. That’s going to warp anyone for life. He got dragged to Megiddo to go stare at a hole (and maybe eat some guac) to meet a creepy shit-scented demon. Then his 11th birthday turned into a shitshow with an awful parlour magician. And, in the book, they all grab the Secret Service guys’ guns and it gets even nuttier. There’s a hamster involved, as I recall.

The amount of therapy that will be needed because of these two hapless beings is mind boggling.

There are three babies in the real swap: red blanket, white blanket, light blue blanket.

There are three cards in the dealer's baby swap:

red robe and red king of hearts:

antichrist, red blanket/negative passion, red robe is also negative passion, the card is love, empathy, deep emotions, and emotional intelligence

white robe and black jack of clubs:

Greasy Johnson, the real Dowlings' kid white blanket/playing by the rules, ditto white robe the card means determination, impulsiveness, and good fortune. It symbolizes luck, success, happiness, and new opportunities. But it's the deceit of black, so it's the opposite of that.

GREEN robe and black ace of spades:

Warlock, the real Young's kid blue blanket/life, dark green means god's game, the card means strength and authority, but it's black which is deceit, so instead of being the antichrist, he's not those things.

I think Warlock will have a role to play in the s3 though, because he's got the green robe. Maybe he's Judas.

Larys Strong took away Aegon II Targ from Red Keep through secret passage, disguised him as commoner and sent him to Dragonstone. It happens after KL falls to Rhaenrya and Aegon was injured. Could it be foreshadowing for Varys swap the commoner baby with Aegon and send him away?

I'd say he fits in a line with a number of such examples.

Arya is dusguised as a boy and smuggled out of King's Landing.

Aegon was swapped for another baby and smuggled out of King's Landing.

Sansa was smuggled out of King's Landing and disguised as a "commoner".

Mance's son is smuggled away from the Wall after being swapped for another baby.

Mrycella is smuggled out of Sunspear after her maid is disguised to take her place. Earlier she had dyed her hair to disguise herself for the same reason.

Edric Storm is smuggled out of Dragonstone to safety in Lys.

Bran and Rickon are smuggled out of Winterfell after hiding in the crypts. Theon murders common boys in their place.

Viserys and baby Dany were smuggled out of Dragonstone to Essos before they could be surrendered to their enemies.

Jon is not "smuggled", exactly, but certainly disguised as a commoner.

Tyrion, even, was smuggled out through a secret passage, and spent some time in disguises as a commoner.

Basically, it's a tried and true method of secretly moving important people: secret passages, disguises, replacements.

Some are more specific than others, so I'd say any examples that involve a literal replacement are bound to be more closely related to baby Aegon being smuggled out, such as Bran, Mance's son or Myrcella.

(I'm sure there are examples I forgot to mention, especially in the earlier asoiaf history. But you get the idea, it's not a stretch of the imagination so much as a rather common method used frequently.)

It was the group of survivors movie apocalypse dream again, with the two major survivor groups and the zombies that only move at night and other inhuman monsters. This dream has happened three other times, stopping when I was 13 or so.

I had charged my phone on the television and an alarm was going off from inside the television when it became fully charged, so I unplugged it and left. The alarm brought zombies to the survival group's hideout - which was a fairly large and fancy manor with large windows - and when I came back, the leader was holding the switch in his hand. I felt super guilty that I might be the reason it went off.

The leader tells me that the rival major survival group planted it, so don’t feel too bad. But then the movie monsters come out. The giant 4 legged beast that hunts invisibly. The only reason I survived was because I remembered where it hunted from the last times I was in the dream. I hid in the vr simulation pods with the family of three – avoiding the one pod I knew was going to get attacked and the dad went in there and as I knew was coming, he got mauled to death. It ripped open the area over his chest - hearing his racing heartbeat and i watched as it ripped him out and gored the father while his wife screamed from beside me.

I talk to the mother and help her calm down, we have a friendly conversation before we escape and I head go the final point of the dream. A rich, overly dressed woman who had stolen my child (in my other dreams he was my nonexistent younger brother) to adopt him and join him to her legion of other kidnapped and brainwashed children- who were the mages and sorcerers behind the attacks.

I befriend the ones summoning the invisible hound and convince them into putting it away. The woman approached the field the two boys -who had already walked away – and I were in, rather than wait for me to get to the stadium like usual. She asked me to accept swapping her baby with mine and I told her “like always. My child is mine and I won’t sacrifice him for you to enslave.” She respects my pride and directs me to the stadium anyway where my family waited for us. The monsters come out and surround us again and I run down a small hallway which led to a small filthy bathroom that I've seen in multiple dreams - not just this one.

I passed my baby through the hole in the broken window to the grassy hills on the other side. They were unbelievably close and I set him on the grass. Once my hands are back inside the window, the hills slip miles behind and take him to safety out of reach of the woman. I watch a couple in old timey clothes who waved to me before the woman appeared behind me and called me a clever little brat. I felt - even though I couldn't see them - the hounds slither into the space next to her like snakes and I woke up, sure they were going to attack me.

All throughout the dream I feel bored and numb over everything because I knew how it was going to go.

In AFFC and ADWD, Sansa, Val and Arianne are three princess in tower who are taking care of three young children Robin, Monster and Myrcella. Meera and Gilly taking care of original heir Bran, Rickon and Aemon who are swapped with Miller boys and Monster. Robin and Bran had crush on Alayne and Meera. It seems these similarities are intentional.

It seems more like a murky soup than a clear parallel. There's some princesses, some children and some crushes. But no clear parallel that encompasses all.

Not every caretaker is a princess. Not every child is an heir.

If we compare only Bran and Sweetrobin, we get a lot of other similarities, such as the physical disabilities, the pity or distaste of the adults around them, the crush on a female caretaker, the murdered parents, the ambivalence between childlike innocence and transgressive entitlement, the dangerous and dark fatherly mentor/caretaker with mirroring bird imagery, travel through a winter landscape, the desire to fly, the dangerous substance consumed, the ambivalent relationship with singers and music, the uncertain future... and perhaps a glorious moment of heroism in the future.

If we compare any two characters, we can probably find a lot of similarities.

I'd say the general point of all these mirrors involving swapped or disguised children, or hidden heirs, or heirs in dubious hands, would be: Lots of people lugging important children all over the place. Nothing unusual. Happens all the time. Probably more than we have been told so far. Even to babies. Possibly even involving a POV character. Who isn't certain about half his parentage. And might be in for a Big Surprise!

Tim gets deaged which usually wouldn't be too much of a problem considering he still has his adult mind in tact. No. The problem is that there was a child who was the same age as deaged Tim and who looks suspiciously just like him.

Oh. And they somehow got swapped.

Now Tim is stuck trying to figure out who and what Phantom is and what dimension his "lair" is in so he can escape. Tim briefly considered just talking to Phantom and explaining things (with some omissions obviously) but after seeing his eyes flash an eerily familiar green he had frozen. It didn't help that Phantom was doting and scarily overprotective of his children. Some robotic rogue with a flaming green mohawk had threatened to harm them while they were out in the stroller and Phantom took off his head with ruthless cruelty. Tim wasn't taking his chances with a bad reaction so he has more or less resigned himself to living life as a one year old along side his "twin" until he can escape.

Meanwhile Danny is getting more and more concerned that the personality of one of his kids has changed. He had been a happy and bubbly baby until he suddenly became quiet and withdrawn. Had his kid been traumatized somehow? He watches them sleep together in thier crib and wonders...

Meanwhile the bats are cooing over baby "Tim" and doing all sorts of baby activities appropriate for a one year old. The sheer amount of baby clothes everyone buys is ludicrous and I greater theres at least three Nightwing themed outfits in the pile. At least.

Damian becomes jealous of all the time people are spending with "Tim" (especially grayson) and bullys the baby for it all the while causing the baby to cry and Damian to be scolded, which only fuels his ire.

After a week of this the bats confront the person who made the device that deaged RR and found out that Tims mind should not have reverted back to a child, only his body. Damian feels victorious and claims his brother must have been faking the entire time and confront "Tim" about it...but "Tim" doesn't change his behavior. He still acts like a normal baby.

After a while of this they decide to run a dna test just to be sure. The DNA test comes back positive...on half. This shocks everyone. They run the test several more times and have to come to terms with the fact that not only is Tim out there somewhere in the body of a defenseless 1 year old baby, but they somehow got his (future?) son with them instead.

Damian has to come to terms with the fact his been bullying a litteral infant this entire time and the shame that comes with that. (It wasn't any better when you thought it was a baby Tim and Jason points that out) Damian does some self reflection and tries to make amends.
