the idea that demise controls not just ganondorf but really anything deemed 'evil' seems to be very widespread in the fandom and im wondering where that came from?

demise was one throw away end boss that, even with the unfortunate lore implications and damage it did to any other antagonist even in retrospect, was never associated with controlling others? (isnt it mostly ghirahim that summons or corrupts things in skyward sword too?) is it just bc he is the (said to be) the ultimate origin of all things "bad" so clearly he is the one controlling everything even post mortem? he is never relevant again and plays an honestly tiny role in the very game he is introduced in (the only one too)- we dont even know what he is capable of given how little he does even in his own fight- he very clearly dies at the end, doesnt fi even say whatever is left of him will be fully eradicated within the master sword??

HIIIIII!!!!!!!!!!! This is so late but I was so happy when I got the email that you updated your Lestercy fic, like words can not describe how overjoyed I was. Words couldn’t even describe how much I was cackling while reading it too. It made me re-read the whole series again that my head is just full of brainrot right now. 

I would like to say sorry for how long this ask is but THE!! THOUGHTS!!! won’t leave me alone 😭😭😭

Since possessive Percy is canon 👀👀 It made me think of the trend where people kiss their significant other and leave a lot of lipstick marks on them. I can just see Percy giving Lester pepper kisses and leaving behind bright red (lmao maybe blue?) lipstick marks all over his face, and he doesn’t even notice. I like to think that when he finally does notice, he refuses to wash it off (simp behavior right there) which causes a dilemma for him because of his face routine…

Also since Lester is probably gonna meet Posiedon soon (either tied up in a chair or pulled into an alleyway when he least expect it– either way 1st meeting has a high chance that Percy wouldn’t be there) I can just see Posiedon sizing him up and just offering Lester money to break up with Percy bc she definitely deserves better than… that. Then when Lester turns him down, Posiedon gives him ominous warnings. (Posiedon was basically saying he’s dead if he ever breaks Percy’s heart, but to Lester’s mind, that is totally not due to the k-dramas he has watched, he thinks Posiedon is going to try to make Percy fall in love with other people so that she would break up with him). Which then causes Lester to be even more clingy towards Percy and literally watching everything around him like a hawk. He’s contemplating on bringing his bow and arrows whenever he visits Percy now just to shoot the men that come a bit too close, just wondering if they were sent by Posiedon… better safe than sorry 🤷🏻‍♀️

OH! I was just wondering since Bianca is in the series, will you add Nico too?? Because I think it would be funny if Nico gets a puppy crush on Percy and Lester has beef with a literal child….

Nico and Lester will have beef, but it's mostly because Nico is pissed that Lester stole his place as Percy's favorite boy 😔

Spooky Gays in a qpp. One is a human, the other is some fae creature in disguise. Not the ones ya think.

Fae Virgil not wanting to deal with most humans can they're really mean and weird and why did one of them just down chemicals for a media challenge, huh??

Human Remus being his feral, chaotic self & Virgil genuinely believing he's a fellow fae. No human does that shit, you have no shame, sir, and don't give a shit about human rules, ain't no way you're a human. Remus is very much not like his peers at all, but he loves himself for it. The weirder he is, the better. He rather be alienated from those strict jerks.

It's not like he wants genuine connection, haha, shut up

Remus tells Virgil that actually he's human, but he thinks being mistaken for fae is the best thing ever. Virgil does not believe him for a while before just accepting his human is just a massive feral weirdo.

Virgil and Remus end up in a qpp/partnership. They slowly show trust and vulnerability to each other & find out things about one another. Like Remus' fear of being alone or his abandonment issues that may or may not being related to his missing twin brother who's being missing for almost six months by now. Or like Virgil's massive anxiety bc of unfair shit from other fae & meanie humans/human hunters. Also his fear of trusting others bc he's so used to be betrayed and hurt. They help each other out w/ their things.

And maybe h/c qpp turns into a mystery and thriller as they search for Remus' missing brother, Roman, who disappeared right after a trip into the woods and hasn't been seen since. Remus believes he's still alive somewhere but no one believes him. The townsfolk held a memorial/funeral that Remus refused to attend bc "he's still alive, what are you doing, we have to find him, idiots". Virgil is the only one who kinda believes him bc lots of ppl disappear into the woods and end up in the fae world, it happens a lot, so maybe he's there? So, Virgil uses his fae connections to help look for him & he and Remus look in Roman's fave spots in the woods. As this happens, Remus tells stories of when the twins were younger and they'd go camping w/ each other & how they'd play pretend a lot & when they played make believe Re chose to be a Duke & Ro chose to be a Prince & their mom Rhea would pretend with them sometimes and pretend to be this epic Dragon-Witch or some badass queen. And yus, Rhea is named after the actual mother of Romulus and Remus from the myth.

On this goes, and they find Roman. Not how you'd think. Maybe he'd be dead, maybe he'd be in the fae world. It's neither, kinda. They discover that Roman is, in fact, fae himself and is a changeling with a human form. Which raises so many questions of how the fuck that happened, does that mean Re and Roman aren't actually biological twins, but he's still his brother right, you're still my twin brother, how did he figure that out, he's more human than Remus is, how in the hell? Ya see, all those questions are put off bc Remus found his lost brother and hugs him so tight that he could break him if he wanted. The twins hug each other tightly and Virgil watches fondly in support from the background.

Turns out, Roman started questioning his humanity and discovered he may be fae, so he staged a 'mysterious disappearance' and ran off to figure himself out. He discovered himself, who he really is, what he really is, and he has missed Remus so so much. Remus is like "you asshole why did you tell me they said you were dead pls never leave again I missed you you bastard" and yep, more brother hugs for these two. Virgil and Roman meet, and Ro of course teases Re over having a partner in the most sibling way possible and everything turns out okay! The most likely to be fae isn't fae, and the other "normal" ppl are actually fae and Remus has everyone he cares about again (excluding his Mom cause she's dead but eh).

Anyway, Roman made friends with a fae Logan and Patton & made rivals with a witch/sorceress transfemme Janus. Remus is the only full-on, not magical, human in this entire group. Which is the funniest shit ever.

Oh yeah, and Rhea was a single Mom when she was alive. Best Mom Award, fr. Took the twins camping & indulged them in their interests (to a healthy degree). One of the few who ever supported Remus for being himself.

So, a qpp Dukexiety idea that leads into a mystery about fae, brothers, and transfemme witches. About family and most Dukexiety being dorks together as they go on this journey.

“navigating” by twenty one pilots music video, but it’s C!Tommy and C!Wilbur,,,

Tommy being guided through the woods by a ghost of Wilbur. (and yes, i know we have Ghostbur. i love Ghostbur, but hear me out.)

Tommy being haunted by the vivid image of his older brother. and as they walk, this memory of Wilbur appears so real, that Tommy forgets that it isn’t real at all until they’ve reached their destination.

it’s during Tommy’s exile. Tommy’s at his breaking point. he’s starving, he’s cold— he’s alone. no one has visited in ages and he’s so, so tired of fighting. there’s no one to stop him if he wants to lay down in the dirt, close his eyes, and never get back up. but right as he’s about to do it, he opens his eyes to see Wilbur.

Wilbur is dead. Tommy knows this.

he knows bc he’s seen the gravesite. he’s seen the mockery of a memorial that was built in the name of a mad man. hell, he was there to witness the wreckage of when it happened. he can still hear the ringing in his ears of the explosions, the taste of ashes on his tongue, the scent of smoke that never leaves.

but the vision is so vivid.

it’s not real. Tommy knows it can’t be, but as Wilbur teases and prods him into getting up, he can’t help taking Wilbur’s hand.

so, he does what he’s always done — he follows Wilbur.

i love imagining the video with them — Wilbur leading Tommy through the trees. Wilbur guides him over tree roots and offers him a hand when he struggles to climb over inclines. Tommy tries to be difficult, waving Wilbur off to pretend to be a big man, but after what feels like hours, his legs are ready to give out. he whines and tries to plead Wilbur to let him rest, but Wilbur isn’t slowing down. he keeps tugging Tommy along.

the trees begin to thin. the air is growing colder. there’s a thin sheen of ice over the puddles that they pass.

Tommy has no idea where they’re going, but Wilbur keeps telling him to be patient.

as they pass the treeline, all Tommy can see is snow. it stretches out to the horizon, and Tommy can feel the dread in his bones.

right as he wonders if Wilbur’s ghost has led him to his death, he spots a cabin.

it’s shelter.

there’s smoke curling upwards from the chimney and Tommy’s freezing bones long for the warmth that’s inside that home. part of him is terrified of who might be inside — will they send him back to Dream?

but Wilbur drags him along, waving off his worries. it’ll be fine, he says, and stuffs his hands into the pockets of that stupid trenchcoat of his.

they’ve walked too far to turn back, so Tommy follows as he always does.

but right as they’re approaching the door, it opens.

Wilbur is standing right beside Tommy. while Tommy is shivering, sniffling from the bitter cold, Wilbur seems unbothered. his hands are in his pockets, his posture relaxed as ever, as if they haven’t been traveling for hours.

and Tommy tries to feign the same confidence. but as his eyes adjust, he realizes what Wilbur’s done. the flurries of snow have subsided enough that he can finally see the figure in the doorway, right as they’re noticing him.

it’s Technoblade.

and right as they lock eyes, Tommy realizes something important.

Wilbur’s disappeared.

thinking about stanford era again SORRY but. the boys entire life john trained dean too look out for sam. he thought something was after sam. and then sam, technically an adult but never to John, still skinny and inexperienced and soft, decided to leave. yes he said don’t come back. yes he had a hold over dean. but am i really expected to believe that dean, the john winchester whisperer, wouldn’t have been able to convince him to let dean go live with sam and make sure he was ok? it’s His Job. it’s clear that they had been hunting apart for some time before the pilot. so why would john keep dean away from sam? even if he had people “watching” sam from a distance, i fucking doubt the most paranoid man on earth, the man who hated 99.9% of hunters, would’ve had a bunch of friends to cash in 4-year-long favours with. i think if dean asked john to let him leave, the only reason john would’ve stopped him was as some weird punishment / bcs he was too angry at sam to care about his safety that much.

to me, there are 4 options. in order from most to least likely: dean a) spent wayyyy more time around stanford than he would ever admit b) was so destroyed by (what he saw as) sam’s abandonment of him that it broke his brain and he blindly followed johns orders for years, because he fully believed sam hated him and couldn’t live with having that confirmed c) couldn’t even bear to be in the same state as sam for at least a year because he has no impulse control and would’ve sought out the self-punishment of seeing his sam being happy and normal without him, but also would’ve never been able to leave him again or d) was trying to leave sam alone like sam wanted, and he trusted sam’s abilities because dean had trained him well and he could totally, definitely stand the idea that sam didn’t need him anymore (laughable)

not-quite canon compliant thoughts aside, i think it is completely impossible that they didn’t have a code for this too. like. To Me. dean drove to stanford to help sammy move in, and set up some sort of system with him where each month or whatever he would leave a message on deans phone with a code word so dean didn’t drive himself insane thinking he was dead. and that day was the best day of the month to him. and he didn’t answer the phone, because he knew sam didn’t want to talk to him, but he saved all those messages, even though they were like one word long.

ive never made an oc before literally ever in my life (let alone 5) but im working on the lore rn and maybe sometime this month i'll do character designs but im really busy rn. definitely by the end of summer tho

additional info:

rick has paranoia depression anxiety adhd and autism (but he refuses to go to therapy so most of these arent actually diagnosed, but im literally his creator so i know, with the exception of paranoia (due to his psycotic break he was briefly forced into citadel therapy or whatever) and depression. i dont think he knows about the anxiety/he refuses to acknowledge it and he self medicates his adhd. he knows about the autism) hes also still an alcoholic (like most ricks i think) his beth jerry and summer's whereabouts are unknown (at least until i think of smth better 😭)

morty's rick is dead but when he was alive he was lowkey kinda nice (if overly and unhealthily dependant on morty) so morty misses him dearly :( morty tried to help his rick recover from dianes death and stop him from destroying himself finding rick prime but he couldnt and he blames himself for ricks death, he has a lot of abandonment issues and maybe some ptsd too. hes a bit more prickly than your standard morty until he really gets close to someone, hes less immediately trusting. after his rick died he ran away from home to the citadel, trying to find another rick but after a few years and about 5 ricks he realised it was useless and he would never be able to really replace his rick. his family was assigned another morty after he split and they're fine. he hung around the morty town locos for a while until finding summer x-22

summer's whole family is alive still but she ran away from home due to her jerry being abusive, as i mentioned earlier. she stole ricks portal gun and portalled over to the citadel, but the portal gun was damaged and she couldnt go anywhere else. morty l9-dd found her crying behind the creepy morty and tried to steal her portal gun (bcs the morty town locos fw portal fluid) but she pinned him against a wall and told him she'd slit his throat out if he didnt help her so he agreed. they bonded after that and became pretty much inseparable.

summer confided that she hadnt had a good relationship with her morty bcs he always turned a blind eye to the abuse and excused jerry. morty told her he spent so much time trying to keep his rick from spiralling that he never formed much of a relationship with his summer

when they get to dimension N0T beth and jerry seem perfect but they soon find out that the rick of this dimension was dead of suicide or smth and that beth tried to commit to after his death maybe. beth here is also an alcoholic, like c-131 is and jerry is in charge of keeping up appearances, which is harder once you have 3 new people living in your broken home.

im not sure a lot of this still might change it needs a lot of work

defining traits (both personality and physical):

rick: more quiet, often zones out and seems like hes not even there, but still bitchy when he does talk. when they first get to N0T he barely leaves his room for 2 months and beth keeps panicking bcs shes worried he'll kill himself like her rick. even tho she doesnt know him he looks so much like her rick did (bcs theyre both ricks duh) and its just stirring back up some stuff for her. his hair is a little flatter than c-137. perhaps he has a fringe. maybe he wears a soft wool jumper. je has self harm scars but always wears long sleeves, so theyre not visible

morty: his tones a bit sharper, hes more skeptical of ppl than morty prime is. hates rick prime almost as much as a-26m does. darker yellow t shirt (like the mortys in mortytown) scars across his eye (I KNOW IM NOT ORIGINAL OK i didnt want to put the scar down his lip bcs i didnt want to assosciate him with evil rick and morty, he has nothing to do with them) maybe the scar is across his cheek idk

summer: always a bit on edge, carries a knife on her at all times. incredibly mistrusting of jerry N0T when they got there. still weary of him and doesnt let him get too close. jerry is too tired trying to keep up appearances to really do much to try and ease summers mistrust of him. black tank top instead of pink. hot pink belt on her jeans tho maybe. loose hair bcs a ponytail is too easy to grab, sharp nails, painted pink. bruises on her arms that start to fade in the beginning of her time on the citadel with morty

beth: often out of it or drunk, more so the more time rick morty and summer stay bcs she cares less and less about keeping how shitty shes doing from them. at the beginning she seems like a perfect housewife, or someone putting on a performance of one. looks pretty much the same if not a little more disheveled, in the beginning wears one of those fancy white frilly aprons with a red heart embroidered. drops the apron as she drops the act

jerry: tired, dark circles maybe (rick and morty also have these, summer and jerry wear makeup to cover them, beth and rick have eyebags also) starts wearing the apron when beth stops lol, defeated demeanour, kinda depressed a lot of the time. lonely

anyway a lot of this is probably gonna be changed idkkkk

ooh also how long it took for a bond to form between characters:

rick and morty: about 2-3 months. both desperately missed their old partners which sped it up a bit but morty was scared of getting attached and rick at the start was too out of it most days to really form any kind of connection also he was scared of getting attatched too but for different reasons (morty was scared he'd lose another rick, rick felt like everyone he got close to ended up worse off (diane, his prev morty))

rick and summer: like maybe 5 months, they didnt interact much at first, like i said rick was too out of it and summer didnt really trust rick and saw him as unstable, but as rick grew closer to morty, summer slowly became a little less suspicious and maybe rick helped her with smth and they bonded over that idk

rick and beth: their initial relationship was not healthy, beth trying desperately to prevent rick from killing himself and rick not being willing to work on himself healthily, causing beth great panic and anxiety, but after like 6 months or so they become drinking buddies, still not the healthiest father-daughter relationship but it eases beths mind and makes rick feel less alone

rick and jerry: even after like 10 months living at the smith house rick and jerry dont have much of a relationship, both are too caught up in their own exhaustion to make an effort to bond, may change at some point

morty and summer: started to form a relationship within the first week of meeting eachother, maybe 7 or so months before they encountered rick (i need to make a timeline) probably the strongest relationship of all of these listed

morty and beth: surprisingly quickly, within the first 1 or 2 months, morty misses his mum and he wants to try and help beth a bit

morty and jerry: mutual respect for eachother, morty helps jerry out around the house and with things, started like this after anytime between a few weeks and 2 months

summer and beth: 4 months, took a while but eventually they formed a bond, its easier for summer to relax around beth and beth likes having a daughter

summer and jerry: still distrust after 10 months, will likely take a long time for any kind of relationship to form, no matter how minor

beth and jerry: pre established relationship obviously but its not a very good or happy one, maybe after 9 months they start trying to work on it again

may i ask what the major changes you guys decided to make to jackalshide's story are :?

so when jackalshide was first put together we were like. young and suffering. so the town was very grey, very dirty, falling apart and hostile to the kids we were writing with. especially isaiah and hunter.

isaiah was raised by his widower father who was capital c Cruel to him. in most stories, elias would die by isaiahs mid twenties, if not sooner in an "accidental" fire started in his childhood trailer. like pure a child scorned will burn the village down to feel warmth, literally. this wouldnt lead to any real emotional catharsis for isaiah, and his mental health would just be. ass. so bad after.

hunters story was likewise really tragic. a politically motivated attack on his family home killed his mother and nearly killed him, leaving him with thick scarring on his throat and belly. hed go on to become a child star who was heavily groomed and abused by people within the system (as we hear about a lot with child stars) and so hed go on to burn out BADLY. badly. just ugly.

crick (his real name is methias lol) was one of the only younger people to stay in town alone with his mom. he was endeared to the boys as their babysitter with his bestie d.alex (david alexander, one of rikers many older brothers) growing up. after d.alex leaves to go to college he most definitely never looks back and it BREAKS cricks heart, so he just spends his days moping around his cabin and drinking. very much in that 'he never got out so hes going to repeat his parents lives' white trash mentality; alone, unhealing, unchanging, as life goes on around him.

there was likewise a consensus that once the kids all left town, there was no going back. jackalshide itself would be left to waste away as the older generations would get meaner and nastier in the decay and drive off all of the younger people to leave the town dwindling in disrepair and a fading as they died off. (not that thats based at all off of my home town. ofc not.)

well, gradually as we expanded, things began to change.

first came cam. hes the sheriffs son, which puts him in close proximity to isaiah whos father is the sole deputy of jackalshide. cam became a refuge to him outside of his usual friend group, when he ended up in spaces his friends would absolutely not follow (like sunday dinners at the sheriffs house). isaiah is a sleepover enthusiast both for homoerotic and getting away from his dad reasons, and cam was the "easiest" choice. (tho usually hed sleep over at hunters anyway bc they were all but inseparable). hes incredibly stable and level headed, and the kind of autistic where he can simply Keep Chugging no matter what. it was something isaiah sorely needed in his life.

from there, we introduced gideon. gideon was a transplant- truly about the only one at this point- whos moms wanted to own a lesbian ranch and decided on jackalshide. they own a huge swath of land outside of town, so gideon ends up going to school with the boys. oh he and isaiah HATE! each other in school. like just the pettiest nastiest twink on twink verbal violence that only hunter and bette actually clock. gideon is taller, more popular, easily in the closet (& cis) so isaiah is just like. blindly jealous of him. and he has not one but TWO moms? fuck this guy.

gideon ends up meeting crick at the tail end of his career as the local babysitter and is immediately like 9///9 about him but crick is very in the throws of it for d.alex and also enough years older than gideon that he just. doesnt even clock him. not until many many years later, when theyre both adults and a good way into their individual lives when gideon tracks his ass back down to shoot his shot LOL

gideon is VERY driven and hes pivotal in the direction we decided to take jackalshide. instead of running away from how dead and hateful the town is, he decides hes going to roll his sleeves up and do something about it. with hunters dads help (ruben used to be mayor, and then senator, though by now hes retired living in the hills outside of jackalshide), he runs for council and begins building up a cryptid hunting based tourism center in the town square. lots of restoration, murals, statues, shops, stories; he puts that shit on the map for people who are really into visiting places like point pleasant.

crick, inspired by gideons drive to better the town, starts to finally come out of his depressive slump and start working on his own projects. he gets grant money and opens what is ostensibly a food bank, but it looks like a grocery store? so you can come in and do your shopping, he "rings you up" to keep inventory, and then you leave with your food. no payment necessary. it seats him back in the public eye, which is important for his mental health tbh. he spent several years cloistered up in his cabin so talking to people all day really works wonders on him.

as gideon gains public favor, he gets more sway, and uses it to get in with the sheriff. over the course of a few years, they end up dismantling how the jackalshide pd has been running for decades (poorly, evilly, naturally) and cams dad officially steps down. without him covering elias ass and keeping him employed, elias gets fired. hes been hiding behind his badge for so long, not having it anymore suddenly puts him in a VERY vulnerable position.

its around this time isaiah breezes back into town. hes doing well, hes had therapy, his tattoo business is off the ground and hes feeling established as an adult. hes heard rumblings about what gideon is doing and wants to see it firsthand! as adults they have 0 beef at all and act like old friends instead LOL gideon shows him around and explains a lot of what hes been working on over the last decade. he brings up the pd specifically and isaiah snorts like oh good, no one in town would ever hire my shithead dad, hope he rots.

it turns into a fat argument when gideon says hes been working on getting elias into the counseling he needs. isaiahs like no, he doesnt deserve that kind of kindness. and gideons like you cant pick and choose, its everybody or its nobody. and isaiah will not accept that answer and storms out and ends up leaving entirely for another several years.

in the downtime, gideon finally succeeds and elias is put on a never before seen path of redemption.

by the time he and isaiah reconnect, isaiahs come around to what gideon said. more therapy, more reflection, more thinking about how he would have acted if hed been in elias position. (married just out of highschool, starting a family, losing your partner and being stuck alone with a baby so so so young with no money and no prospects). it opens the door for communication and while its rocky and messy and fumbling, slowly they do start to open up to each other. well enough, even, that elias eventually gets to meet his grandkids.

at this point we decided we were going to rework hunters story entirely to suit the more growth-positive outlook we had gotten over the years wed been working on things. while he still loses his mom, he goes into ballet instead of acting (a close call as things were) and works his ass off to perform globally with a few different traveling troupes. he retires in his thirties bc he feels like the fact that he hasnt had an accident yet is a miracle and hes going to take the boone, and he and isaiah end up reconnecting <3

cams story progresses in the meantime, that he goes from being the oldest son that his step mom is always yelling for to co-parent his little half siblings and do chores around the house, to getting into college and pursuing architecture and engineering. hes really successful bc hes got that autistic grindset of i love it and its always on my mind so im constantly innovating. which is fantastic for him, less so for isaiah who goes nuts without constant attention.

cue hunter coming back into the picture. isaiahs always been poly and truly the only people who didnt seem to realize that were cam and isaiah himself, so theres a lot of fumbling around with it, but ultimately cams Starkly Monog preconceptions for his life crumble in the face of 'oh hunter really is really hot'. lol they end up in a triad endgame <3

not a lot to say on the riker and bette front. their story hasnt changed really much at all. they have billie in highschool (oops), bette moves out to cali after to go to a really really good college for animation, jettisons into a lucrative career showrunning and doesnt have a lot of time for all of his loser besties. riker moves way out by himself in the middle of nowhere and has a quiet life making arson money LOL he swings by to see isaiah often enough, they still talk plenty, but hes more of a lone wolf and doesnt really settle down with anyone.

billie herself goes on to be the coolest fuckin older cousin to noah (isaiah and cams baby) and anthony (isaiah* and hunters baby) <3 <3 <3

To be fair to Soap, he and Roach are actually actively torturing each other. They don't look physically alike, and they're both going man that guy has a different personality is that what Ghost prefers? Roach: aw shit they have a cute little banter flirt thing going when I just. Plain do not like fucking talking. Soap: aw shit, Ghost probably likes how quiet Roach is and how physically expressive instead and how he's like flexible/agile/not a tank but lithe and he's always touching Ghost which he seems to dig a lot bc Roach is very tactile and people don't touch Ghost! Them not sleeping with him anymore is only his third worst case scenario. Second worst case scenario is they wise up and murder his ass. First worst case scenario? They realize how hot they are and what a great match they are (because literally only Ghost knows them both well enough to realize they probably actually would like each other and compliment each other quite a bit) and they leave him for each other and Ghost gets to be tortured forever over it.

So basically they're all suffering even while getting some, the secret ingredient to this trio is everyone thinks they are the lesser partner who got in on a technicality and is about to get cut and they are all slowly getting very very messy feelings for each other. It finally culminates in an actual not proxy threesome Roach institages over competitiveness and assuming Ghost wants to leave him and hasn't because of their history and such so he's hoping to make shit finally blow up. It doesn't quite go that way. Soap just really wants to get double teamed by them because he likes them both very very much and if he gets murdered at the end of it he's okay with that.

for sure knows a thing or two about burning yourself out and people pleasing. he is like... one of the most real, genuine guys at nrc. he's naturally worried when you come to class looking nearly dead and everytime he texts you, inviting you to heartslabyul, you either never respond or tell him you're busy. once he finally finds out you're overworking yourself (he may or may not have walked into your dorm without asking. it's not breaking in if nothings broken...!) he makes you rest. let's you tell him about how you feel as he gets you water and texts riddle of his whereabouts. he'll sit on your bed and praise your hard work while you lay down with a cold towel on your forehead. (sick or not, i love cold towels they're so soothing). trey would for sure try to cook an actual meal, but he's a baker NOT a chef so we'll see how that goes. he offers to help with your work and doesn't leave you alone until you've eventually fallen asleep after eating and talking to him. he'll be calling you later and will check in on you the next day, though.

RUGGIE B.

another one who knows about people pleasing and overworking. though, he tends to overwork himself to "survive". he does everything for leona and has a hard time taking a break for himself... he's so used to the hustle, you know? he notices right away when he sees you outside in PE and you're about to faint. asking to take you to the nurse, he instead takes you back to his dorm where he feeds you something and basically forces you to tell him what's going on. ruggie isn't a liar when it comes to these things and he tells you how genuinely proud he is but you've really gotta take care of yourself...! tells you stories of how many times he's gotten in trouble or hurt because of how tired he was from constantly working. if you're working to impress someone who genuinely does not seem impressed, he'll tell you not to sweat it. he feels like leona doesn't appreciate his hard work sometimes... but he's used to that; he just wants to let you know that he understands you. after he eases you into rest, he leaves cuz he's a busy man; but if you ever become distant or start neglecting yourself again, he will start using FORCE. i'm like 99% sure everyone here has had experience with overworking themselves oh my god. anyways, azul takes a while to notice because he's oh-so-busy, but he realizes when you come in to work one of your shifts, you look like you're about to collapse. of course, he sits you down and gets you something to drink and asks if you're sick; then you tell him how hard you've been working on school, relationships, AND work. azul overworks himself frequently, he understands. so, he let's you off the hook. he'll let you nap in his office and if you're hungry, he's calling jade (floyd would tire you out further...) to bring you something to eat and to refill your drink. he's willing to offer some words of advice and make sure you know your efforts aren't going unnoticed. he warns that you must take care of yourself more because you can't just expect to work hard and not stop for a break and then be completely fine?! that's dangerous! nobody would be pleased to know you've almost killed yourself over some homework! (that sounds so weirdly worded i am genuinely sorry) he reminds you that you can't expect to always help others if you can't help yourself. eventually you'll burn out so bad you won't be able to recover.... or that's what it feels like. he's also sort of a people pleaser so he knows it all too well.

jade suspects something is up when he doesn't see you drop by the lounge much anymore. he thinks it's weird but it's certainly none of his business... until floyd won't stop complaining that he can't find you anywhere. apparently it's difficult for ANYONE to get ahold of you. one night, late late LATE at night, floyd shakes jade awake and complains he thinks something is wrong with you and he can't stop thinking about it. jade, fed up with this, went to go find you... find you up at 4 am, studying for a test... that would be taken in a month. you had a whole month to study and you're doing it all in one night? he has to actually lay you down to get your full attention, then you tell him you're afraid to disappoint. of course, it's early in the morning and jade isn't fully awake so there's a silence, interrupted by youe stomach growling. so, he instead brings you a snack and some water, makes you consume it all and then lays you down. he promises to talk to you about it all in the morning so he can properly reassure you that you're doing enough. he ends up falling asleep on your bed with you but when you wake up, he's gone but theres a covered plate full of food just for you. at school, he stops you and asks you how you're feeling before handing you MORE FOOD and going to class. he's a busy man but he shows appreciation in his own ways.

VIL S.

vil notices the physical differences easily. you've been ignoring epel, rook, AND him for quite a while and epel was acting out because of it... or so vil thinks. so, he scouted you out after class. he notices how tired you look and the thinning of your face... what's going on? vil takes you to pomefiore and interrogates you over a nice meal. just you and him. when you tell him, he gets soft. he scolds you lightly for your behavior and mindset; you don't have to do all of that to impress anyone. you need to take care of yourself so vil takes you to his room, runs you a bath, and takes care of you. he'll do your hair if you let him, he'll apply his favorite skincare onto you and hold you in his arms. he whispers to you sweetly how he recognizes your effort but wants you to stay safe.. how sweet. he walks you home and puts you to sleep, even burning a calming candle to put you to bed. the next few days, rook will be showing up after classes to check on you and bring you something to eat as well as new lotion or whatever vil sees fit. when he's overworked, he likes to be pampered but this was about you; it's your turn to be pampered. good job, (name). you're doing great.

It was a funny thing, feelings, and the way they blossomed in places they had no business being in. Those very specific stomach churning butterflies and skipped heartbeats were unmistakably there every time you found yourself in the Slytherin Prince’s presence. It was a shame really, you had never even given him the time of day prior to the time you were forced to work on a Charms project together but now here you were; completely and undeniably entranced by him. 

Your group of y/h friends and you were gathered in the foyer outside the Great Hall, the doors wide open and welcoming students for the lunch that was going to be served in just a few minutes. Your friends were lost in conversation and you couldn’t be happier as your focus darted around the room hoping to spot the platinum mop of hair.

Out of sheer coincidence, a boisterous group of Slytherins had entered the foyer from the direction of the dungeons, all talking loudly and jokingly pushing each other as they came into view. Your eyes landed on the laughing blond in the middle, his toothy grin almost twinkling under the sunlight that streamed in through the large medieval windows. His gaze wandered around the room for a moment before stopping on you, the smile on his face morphing into a smug knowing smirk. 

A shivering weakness shot up your legs, your heart doing somersaults in your stomach as you recalled the previous night. It involved you sneaking out of the common room to meet Draco in a dark and hidden corner of the castle in the dead hours of night, his Prefect duties long finished and a looming fear of getting caught by Filch. It was you being backed into said corner, his body flush against your quivering one, a strong hand clamped tightly over your mouth to muffle the whimpers that unwillingly left your mouth as his lips left trails of wet kisses along the exposed skin of your neck and chest. It was his knee in between your legs, pushing you harder against the wall as your hands got tangled in his hair while he held your face in place by your jaw, whispering compliments and desires into your ear with kisses to it in between, smiling coyly to himself when he heard the small gasps of pleasure coming from you.

All this was because of a simple charms project, the two of you forced to spend a couple weeks together where it was constant bickering and malicious teasing until the tension between the two of you had gotten so overwhelmingly strong it was suffocating. It had gotten so unbearable that one day, Draco finally had enough as you were reading something out of your textbook for him, suddenly knocking it out of your hands and scooting closer to you on the shared bench, his minty breath hot against your face and darkening gray eyes flickering from your lips to your widened e/c’s as he whispered a breathless, “can I kiss you?” 

Post study make out sessions quickly turned into sneaking away from friends throughout the day which finally led into slipping out of common rooms to meet at night. No one ever noticed nor caught on to the two of you, the both of you keeping it a secret so you wouldn’t have to deal with people’s undesired two cents. 

As much as you enjoyed the hands on affection, you found yourself liking the intimacy afterwards even more. You looked forward to sitting down somewhere with him, his arms wrapped warmly around your body as you asked about each other’s day that branched out into talking about anything and everything. You would skip back to your room afterwards, smiling from ear to ear with your head in the clouds until one day it dawned on you; you were in a sticky situation of constantly wondering “what are we?”

You never dared to ask him though, terrified of his answer and that he would leave you in the dust for even bringing it up. In all your years at Hogwarts, you’ve never seen Draco with a girlfriend, he was the most well-known boy at school, an arrogant and proud Slytherin, a skilled quidditch seeker, and an irresistible flirt. But never having the title of ‘the boyfriend’, despite the countless girls that hung off his arms nearly begging for his attention.

“Y/N,” your friend broke you out of your thoughts, a sly smile on her face as she elbowed your side. “Your little friend is headed this way.”

You looked at her in confusion, turning your attention towards the tall Gryffindor, Trevor, that was walking towards your small group, a bright smile on his face as his eyes stayed trained on you. Your friends giggled teasingly, already knowing what his presence would ensue. He was nice, but annoying as he relentlessly flirted with you every time you had your Transfigurations class with him. You just chose to ignore him even though he always ended up sitting next to you or around you no matter how many times you moved. He was someone who you complained restlessly about to your group which caused them to laugh and poke fun every time he would come up to you around them.

“Y/L/N!” He said happily, attempting to give you a hug as he came up to you which you only begrudgingly returned with a lazy side hug. He took your hand, leading you a few feet away from your group so he could talk to you privately. “I was wondering if you wanted to meet up at the library after lunch to study for our test later this week?”

“Oh,” you trailed off, trying to come up with an excuse but in the midst of your thoughts you remembered you had already made plans with Draco. Speaking of, you had forgotten he was only across the room, unbeknownst to you that he was staring hard at you and your classmate. “I’m busy today.”

“How about after tomorrow?” He asked again hopefully. “We can even go to Hogsmeade after, butterbeers on me!”

You frowned slightly, knowing that this was not a friendly collegiate conversation, but another ploy to try and get you to go out with him. His attempts were increasing week by week and you denied him every single time yet he never got the hint.

“Still busy,” you smiled at him, hoping that if you were to appear nice, it would soften the continuous blow of rejection.

“I’m not going to stop asking until you say yes,” he sighs, hands slipping into the pockets of his robe as he longingly looked down at you. “You might as well give in.”

His hand came up towards your hair, a skinny finger brushing through a strand of your hair as he pulled a small fluff of lint from your robes before flicking it into the air. You stood frozen in place, the gesture being painstakingly too much for your comfort and borderline creepy coming from him.

Draco felt himself shake with anger, the sight of you smiling at the Gryffindor and that he was running his fingers through your hair made his blood boil. Greeting the git with a hug. You being led away from your friends by your hand. He hated the sight. The thought of any man other than him being so close to you made him feel sick to his stomach, a rage sparking from deep within him he never even knew existed. He watched as you looked up at the boy above you, a weird expression on your face that instantly let him know you were uncomfortable.

That was it for him. He was seeing red as he threw his schoolbooks into Crabbe’s hands, pushing aggressively past a pair of boys that were in his way as he power walked towards you and your classmate.

“Didn’t you ever learn to keep your hands to yourself?” Draco called out condescendingly in his haughty accent, his scowl deepening as he approached. Trevor’s head snapped towards Draco, a frown etching itself onto his face.

“Sod off, Malfoy,” Trevor sneered. “Go find someone else to bother.”

“Take your own advice, filth,” Draco shot back.

“Filth? You’re one to talk,” the Gryffindor chortled. By now, everyone within a few feet of the debacle was watching, entertained at the argument that was beginning to unfold, your friends and Draco’s goons staring oddly at the encounter. You only stood there, looking between both boys towering over you in a daze that left you paralyzed in your spot. You were so close to telling off Trevor before Draco came, feeling grateful at your delayed reaction now that he was there defending you.

“I’m not going to ask you again,” Draco threatened, stepping in between you and Trevor as he spoke. “Leave Y/N alone, or I swear you’ll regret it.”

“Why? You think she’d pick you over me?” He snickered. “We’ll see who’s the one feeling regretful when you find her making that decision.”

By now, Trevor had stepped up to the spiteful Slytherin, getting in his face with a patronizing smile. Draco’s face twisted up in anger as his temper got worse, shoving his competition back with the side of his forearm, feeling satisfied when Trevor stumbled back.

“Funny,” he laughed darkly, “I seem to remember her already making that decision every single day while we’re snogging.”

Multiple gasps can be heard throughout the foyer, including your own as you gaped up at the blond, his eyes staying focused on Trevor as he looked taken aback.

“You trying to say she’s your girlfriend?”

“That’s exactly what I’m saying.”

Your legs nearly gave out below you at his response. This was everything you had been hoping for recently, except not like this. But that still didn’t stop you from feeling giddy, however, the bliss of his revelation filling your entire body with glee. The ‘what are we?’ question being ripped from your mind with relief.

“Is that true?” Trevor asks you, a devastated look glazing over his eyes as you slowly nodded. He gives Draco one more pointed look, bumping shoulders with him before he stalked off into the Great Hall in a rush, everyone scattering around to go inside as well now that the show was over.

Draco turned to peer down at you, fury draining from his body as he admired you. He cupped your cheek, leaning down and placing a soft kiss on the opposite side of your face before whispering hotly into your ear.

“If he tries anything with you again, let me know and I swear I’ll deal with him,” he pulls back from you, smiling at you innocently. “I’ll see you later, darling.”

And with that, he sends you a wink, turning around to saunter over to his eager minions while your friends immediately rush towards you with a million questions that you would inevitably have to answer. This was not at all how you expected the day to turn out, not in the slightest.

kaeya and ohm very kindly took up her other duties where she had to leave so she could be w her partner

her partner is staying in the kof hq where they get access to ohm and barbara comes to visit <3 but also so that jean can sleep comfortably enough close by bc you cannot tell me this woman does not sometimes sleep in her office or the library and barely makes it to the kof dormitories sometimes

she’s so worried the entire time, she’s probably got a few gray hairs and a new frown line smh

she has clothes that aren’t her work clothes???? it’s so foreign seeing her in stuff like pajamas. you didn’t even know jean owned pajamas

jean sets them up in her bed at home (yeah she has a place outside of the kof hq??? it’s surprising) but it’s a big bed so they can rest and she’ll have the lamp on her side on while she sits up and does work

absolutely dotes on them. she’s good at making foods that make them feel better, she’s just a good healer that way <3

ohm is also just super protective of his partner, there are not many people who come into his life who he loves and lets in in the first place. he’s absolutely trying to heal them with his own vitality, so their recovery is much shorter than initially expected

barbara also comes over w jean to check up on ohm and co, complete w a goody basket of soup, a teddy bear, flowers, and books

ohm reading to his partner <3 he’s got such a soothing voice even if his accent is wack LMAO. he’s reading stories and even his paperwork because just his presence is comforting

sulien cooks for his partner tho, he’s making soup and stuff and getting medicine from bubu’s pharmacy. he’s also picking up books on the way home but some of them are to be read to his partner so it’s okay-

like tartaglia, sulien works out while his partner rests and goes to them if he hears them moving around. he’s reading to his partner and not so frowny, but the slightest furrow of this man’s brow is already such a big expression of his concern <3

sends letters to ohm asking for advice ab how to help his partner feel better. ohm just sends a letter back with “i’m coming” and shows up within the day LMAO

reads to his partner, and the monotony of his voice is soothing and lulls them to sleep. he just looks at them affectionately (well affectionate for him) and presses a kiss to their forehead before finishing the story on his own and in his head

tartagalicious comes over and brings food, flowers and a teddy bear with some of sandrone’s paperwork but he sends a smile to sulien’s partner with some well wishes

scara comes over too just to visit and check to see where sandrone is, but scara is a grumpy bean so he just says “feel better” all brooding and like it’s a command to one of the fatui subordinates LOL

My dad died at 72 on 12/31/19 after his 2nd massive heart attack. It was hard, but as a family we got through it and even moved my mom to Memphis to live in a house right next door to me. She was out of shape and overweight but did fine in her house on her own for 2 years.

Then in Nov 2022, at 74, she fell and broke her femur, requiring intramedullary nail for the fracture and full time rehab. Rehab that isn’t going well. Rehab that has been derailed by a bladder infection that made her throw up and prevented her from eating and required 5 days in a real hospital. Rehab that was derailed further when she got Covid at the ER while waiting for bladder infection treatment. She’s finally back at rehab, free from her 2-weeks of Covid quarantine, but she’s throwing up again. And on it goes. It’s always something.

I whine about all this to say: this is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do in my life and it’s not even happening TO me. I’m powerless, I’m helpless, I’ve got no control of her treatment and it feels like I’ve got no control of my own life b/c I spend so much time visiting her and worrying about her comfort and going to her appointments.

People: stay active. Walk your ass down the driveway every day. It will make a difference. Get up, get out, move around and use your body. Sure actual exercise is good for you but movement of any kind will help. My mom will likely never walk unassisted again. My mom can’t come home and live alone and I can’t be her personal home aid. She’s going through this medically but I’m going through something too.

Being a caregiver (really I’m a care supporter) is slowly killing parts of me. And I am mad. I’m mad that my parents never followed instructions after previous surgeries to be active. All they had to do was walk around the block everyday. They never did. I’m mad that nothing seems to go right for my mom since she fell and all the lofty goals of being back to “normal” in 6-8 months have evaporated.

I’m mad that my two brothers and I haven’t met up to discuss things. Even when the older one showed up in town unannounced last week he didn’t tell me his plans so I never even saw him. I’m mad that I can’t focus on critical things in my own life because everything has become dependent on my care obligations. I wash her laundry bc she’s got sensitive skin and needs special detergent. I bought her new clothes so she wouldn’t be in the rehab gym in her ratty old house clothes. I haul shit over from her house to make her more comfortable in the rehab room. I leave work to go to appointments with her, to hold her hand when she cries. I do all this shit but it’s not enough to change any god damn thing.

Nothing is going to be changed. I’m locked into this bullshit until mom finally gives up and dies. There is no fucking escape. The brothers aren’t going to hold her hand and rush up there when she calls scared and crying it for my dead dad. My role in this position was set in motion when I was born the only daughter. And I’m fucking mad.

I love my mom. Living next door to her was a dream come true. But I’m killing myself trying to support her and I’m mad that I can’t let myself step away. I know I don’t have to be the caretaker, but if my dad ever found out I abandoned my mom he’d be so disappointed. As he died in Vanderbilt hospital I held his hand and promised him I’d take care of mom. So I have to keep going. I do my best and I acknowledge that my best changes from day to day.

I’m mad at my mom for being old and out of shape. I’m mad that she had surgery, followed by an infection, followed by Covid. I’m mad at myself for not adjusting into this new role easily. I am not a parent, I have no experience guiding someone to make good decisions and try her hardest. I’m not trained in this at all but now I’m fucking stuck in it.

- Fun fact: my orchestra teacher all throughout high school lived in soviet Russia and served in their military for a while bc it was required by law, but he’s such a sweet guy and I can’t imagine him being as rough and ruthless as these fuckin guards, holy hell-

Idk, it’s just a funky lil thing I noticed, maybe I’ll make another post fleshing out my ideas about all four main characters at some point but for now I’ll leave it there

- Fucking FINALLY, a decent description of the mc off the bat!!! Only took 7 years-

- The specific lack of quotations around “Remember you like doing that, remember how satisfying it is when the ice breaks?” is so fucking interesting, it’s like someone else telling it to him instead of himself that, and it’s an odd place to have a break in the narration style unless it’s purposeful which of course it must be. That is another hallmark of Ms. Pulley’s writing that I just love, the way she can speak and create meaning in the style of the narration, it’s so unique to her works and so so s o fun to read

- Y’know it just dawned on me that Valery is very similar to Linus from The House in the Cerulean Sea

- Ooo chapter titles

- Nice and accurate portrayal of Russian driving skills (from someone who has been cut off while driving on multiple occasions by my Russian orchestra teacher)

- What in the fuckin dystopia is this town-

- Lord knows I am not Grace Carrow’s biggest fan, but her research in ether studies was the precursor to atomic theory, and I’m definitely going to feel like a proud mom if they mention the works of Dr. Carrow at any point in Valery’s research stuff. I have a love-hate relationship with her.

- I’m so intrigued by this dude and his sketchy past and I’m so glad it’s written this way but I’d pay serious money to figure out wtf is going on right this second

- I have a terrible habit of reading the last page of a book when I get antsy — which actually almost caused me to dnf the watchmaker the first time I read it — and I don’t wanna do that but it the urge is there

- Valery…buddy…the first thing you notice about a guy who may or may not kill you is the fact that he’s tall, dark, and handsome??? Really??? Yknow what he’s been in prison for 6 years he deserves it I’m gonna stop shitting on him

Okay I got too wrapped up in the rest of it to finish this but final thoughts:

- I fucking. Love Valery. So much. He’s such a sweet little man but also a complete bastard who blows people up and it’s genuinely the best character combination I can think of

- Shenkov is a gentle giant and I would give him my first born in a heartbeat (bc he would take fantastic care of them)

- Sincerely misjudged Anna at first and I regret it sorely, she is perhaps my favourite side character in the whole book

- I love the ending as well, it wraps up in the same way twofs does; could be a happy enough ending, but with enough unfinished business to make a good transition into a sequel, and I would be absolutely thrilled to have a sequel

- All in all, fantastic book, 10/10, will absolutely be recommending it to anyone who will listen

title's self-explanatory, ed and oz are college students who slowburn fall in love

they're both freshman who end up being dormmates

ed's there for a bachelors in forensic science and oswald's getting a bachelor's in wildlife biology

edward also is minoring in psychology and oz is minoring in business

basically two autistic queer guys with a shit ton of baggage try to get through college together

also the riddler and the penguin arent things in this, ed is very much like s1/pre-riddler ed and oswalds basically the same just. less crime and killing djfghfkdhjg

i dont wanna spoil actual plot bc i wanna turn this into a fic, but here's ed and oswald's backstories <3

ed's a 20y/o nonbinary trans man who uses he/they

he's also autistic and has anxiety and deals with chronic pain (he's just like me fr <3333)

his mom left when he was really young and his father was super abusive

he doesn't remember most of his early childhood due to abuse and memory issues; memories get clearer around highschool

he met kristen in freshman year

she was stuck in an abusive relationship at the time

her father was really misogynistic and terrible to her mother, so she learned those kinds of behaviors from her parents

ed wasn't out at the time (but knew he was trans) so kristen was a lot kinder to him than when they met in canon

she still thinks he's weird but they kind of become friends

long story short, ed starts to help her realize the abuse she's going through and the unhealthy patterns she's learned

through their early high school years, ed helps her unlearn that and get out of the bad relationship shes in

he also finally comes out to her and she accepts him (after being kinda weird abt it at first bc. transphobic dad gkjfhgk)

in turn, she helps ed realize the abuse he's going through

ed also gets really attached to kristens mom

kristens mom is actually a really nice lady, she just has a shit husband and was taught she should be treated like that

kristen getting out of that mindset actually helps her mom get out of it too and she kicks her husband out of the picture

did i mention kristens parents are stupid rich

even after her husband leaves, her mom still is pretty wealthy

when ed finally turns 18, he gets the fuck out of there and lives with kristen and her mom

through all this, ed and kristen try dating and its good for a while

but they realize they're better friends

kristens mom becomes like a mom to ed

she ends up paying for ed's college, hormone therapy, top surgery, name change, and therapy

he's eternally thankful to her

he goes to community college and gets his associates in forensics

kristen goes with him and gets an associates in english

after they've gotten their associates, ed goes to an out of town four year where he meets oz

kristen stays in town, but they still call/talk often

now time for oswald heehee

he's a 21y/o trans guy who uses he/him

gertrud raised him alone, claiming his father was dead

she was extremely overbearing and heavily attached to her son to an unhealthy level

he was bullied a lot as a child

he's also autistic and has adhd <3

he still has his limp, but he gets it in middle school after some kids broke his ankle and gertrud took care of it herself instead of taking him to a doctor

he has a cane which he uses most days

he realizes he's trans very early on in his life and gertrud was very supportive

she let him transition socially and changes his name legally around high school

if she had the money for it, she would have absolutely payed for surgeries and such

at the time of the au, his names changed legally and hes on T (payed for himself)

he has a special interest in penguins and wants to be an ornithologist so he can work with them

he focuses a lot on science in school and always gets A's in it

usually gets b's and c's in everything else (and only gets that high of grades bc he doesn't wanna disappoint his mom)

he goes to community college for an associates in biology

right after his senior year of high school, gertrud starts to get really sick

she refuses to go to a doctor so oswald is balancing taking care of her, having various part time jobs, and getting his associates

its a big rough patch for him and his mental heath takes a huge dip at the time

when he gets his degree and finds the college he wants to go to (which is out of state), he realizes he cant leave his mom the way she is and cant go to college financially yet

so he takes a gap year to earn money and keep taking care of gertrud

he finally gets her to go to a doctor and gets her on medication

when the end of his gap year rolls around, he has enough money to get by on financial aid without any loans

he finally moves out, still talking to his mother often and keeping a eye on her health (though she doesn't tell him much)

now theyre both in college and the au actually starts dfjghfdkjhg! yes i have more backstory for the au than actual plot for it leave me alone <3 basically i love them

i have no idea how the other characters fit into this btw jghkfjdgkdfjhg they will exist at some point but for now they dont heehee

SAPNAP LORE STREAM SPOILERS, SRSLY DON'T KEEP READING IF YOU HAVEN'T WATCHED

alright let's talk about this.

we start off with sapnap and george in the community house which in and of itself I find interesting. like do they just hang out there?

anyways, sapnap says he hasn't seen quackity in forever. that he wants to know where he's at. saying last time he saw him was in like, el rapids. george says practically nothing (a theme you'll find the whole way through this stream) which is strange considering he HAS seen quackity recently . and he knows where he is (maybe not directly) . but perhaps he thinks that was a dream and doesn't want to misinform sapnap? who knows.

they go to el rapids looking for quackity, and find mexican dream crying instead and a destroyed el rapids. sapnap assumes it was destroyed by dream, (because why would he think that? he has every right to believe it was him) and he tells that to mexican dream. they go visit the prison bc mexican dream is freaked out and wants dream dead, and a bunch of just stupid shit happens. also, during this bit I'd like to mention sapnap reiterates that he wants dream to stay in the prison, that he deserves to be in there. idk why I'm saying that I just think it's important to note for his character.

but then mexican dream remembers that QUACKITY destroyed el rapids. he relays that to them, and sapnap doesn't believe it. (once again, why would he?) george is dead silent the whole time. I have a feeling he can't tell if he's dreaming or not, hence why he was either silent, messing around, or not really caring.

back to sapnap tho, we go through this whole dumbass bit with mexican dream turning american and stuff and the whole time sapnap is just BEGGING him to take him to quackity. literally so desperate to find him, and neither mexican dream nor george cooperating. that is until mexican dream is towering up, about to take his own life, when he sees las nevadas in the distance.

the three of them walk to las nevadas and sapnap seems frantic and wants to make sure quackity is there, very very clearly wanting nothing more than to talk to him. but, mexican dream starts freaking out, being scared of quackity and las nevadas and sapnap sighs, taking him to kinoko.

sapnap tells him he will be safe in kinoko, and that he isn't going to let shit happen to that place. it's his home. he mentions how the community house was destroyed, and mexican dream asked who did it, wondering if it was quackity and saying he would kill him. sapnap says no, he was pretty sure it was dream who destroyed the community house, and promptly tries to move on. I won't ignore the little ".. what?" from george after he said that though. it just hit me in that moment that george doesn't know dream was the one to destroy the community house... can't imagine how he's handling that info. (espically considering he continued to be silent after that)

sapnap shows mexican dream to a place he can stay and swears to protect him and the land, but to no avail. mexican dream jumps, dying and logging out of the game. sapnap seems shocked for a second, but then he immediately softens. like he's numb. like he's used to the feeling of those around him just leaving. even when he gives his all to try and help. the stream ends with sapnap asking george to catch him as he jumps, and that's it.

sapnap wants to find quackity. he wants to find him and he misses him. I noticed he was avoiding calling quackity his fiance, and maybe this is just me over thinking or maybe he thinks quackity doesn't think of him like that anymore since they haven't seen each other in so long. but regardless of all that, he wants to find quackity and the next lore stream will be their confrontation. that is going to be a sad fucking mess and I cannot in anyway predict how it will end up. let alone how karl will play into all of this...

In conclusion, people who say sapnap doesn't care about quackity I'm gonna need you to shut the fuck up and use this stream as even further evidence that ur wrong. and at the end of the day, c! sapnap is still one of the most tragic characters and I cannot fucking wait for more.
