MUN PSA - Hiatus!

My Chemo and Radiation therapy started March 17th 2025 and it was an absolute DISASTER... ONE dose of Chemo plus TWO doses of Radiation and my body was absolutely destroyed, leaving me bed bound for the next three days despite massive efforts with medication to reduce side effects from both treatments.. meaning I missed THREE Radiation treatments--

Technically they were rescheduled as I must have a certain amount of Radiation treatments to be considered 'complete' and in the clear by my medical team/the hospital. Simply means my original 5 week ( once a day, Monday to Friday ) treatment for radiation has been extended to 6 weeks instead!

I do not know when this hiatus will end! My radiation treatment should end by the end of APRIL, taking some consideration for if I miss future treatments, but I do not have a specific date as I have been told that recovery can last up until 2 weeks after treatment has ended for people to recover their strength!

I wish that I could reassure my mutuals that I am alright but I can't and that hurts me since I dislike worrying others.. it has taken me a week to write this-- need more proof? It took me 9 months to originally announce my cancer battle to Tumblr ONLY because I thought that I was on the verge of winning my fight with a hysterectomy last year in 2024!

ANYWAY. I may not be active here on Tumblr but I have tried to be active on DISCORD should you wish to hang out there? Private message or comment here if you wish to hang out on Discord? PLEASE be aware that I am dealing with HEAVY Fatigue and other complications that I do not wish to elaborate here!

The Justice League was choosing their head engineer. They had a few contenders. One being the top student in engineering at Gotham University, even has a scholarship through Jason Wayne’s Scholarship for Underperforming Students. Bruce Wayne has started it after adopting Jason and seeing how smart he was but also how much he struggled in school.

Daniel Fenton lived on the same street as the Monarch Theatre, the same street he found Jason.

Batman couldn’t help but think Daniel was what Jason could have been if he was able to finish school and head off too college.

Batman knocked on the apartment door, not at all surprised at how fast it opened. When setting up the meeting, he could hear the excitement over the phone.

“Hello Batman Sir!” Daniel greeted, holding out a hand. He had a strong firm grip, reminded him of Clark’s. Possibly a meta, which is a plus. With what the kid might encounter while building or making repairs, a meta gene would be good to have, especially strength.

And over the meeting Batman fell more and more in love with the kid’s enthusiasm. Without the guarantee of the job, the kid was ready to give some ideas (that would amazing) incase the League would need them.

The meeting was supposed to be an hour but soon he noticed that the sun was low.

Batman sat up straighter upon hearing a key turn in the lock.

“Oh that’s my partner, sorry, I would I have warned you but I didn’t realize the meeting was going to be this long,” Danny (only creepy billionaires call me Daniel) said, which Batman also noted that he tried his best not to blame Batman for going over the allotted time. Kid’s respectful too.

“Hey Stardust how’d the meeting I’m not supposed to know about go? I’m sure whatever words you stumbled over the Bat didn’t hold it against you for being nerv-” the disembodied voice walks into the dining room, and freezes in surprise before collecting himself, an easy smile going on his face while wiping grease stained hands on his grease stained jeans and stuck one out to shake.

“Hi, I’m Jaylad Peters,” he says but Batman doesn’t take the hand offered. He doesn’t react at all.

In front of him is his baby boy, the one that died in his arms, the one he buried in Gotham Cemetery, near Thomas and Martha. His Jason.

Hey while it's snowing and you're out clearing your driveways

I not ask but highly encourage you to please also clear stairways, ramps and as much sidewalk as you can get.

Yes you need to get your car out but it's even harder for us disabled folk during the winter to leave our places of residence when there's snow and ice in our path.

Wheelchair users are literally unable to go anywhere without either getting their wheels stuck in the snow or sliding uncontrollably on the ice. Disabled people in general are at a higher risk of injury or worsened conditions in weather like this.

Salt as much area as you can, clear away snow to grant safe paths PLEASE

Not all of us can acquire nor afford let alone have spikes/snowshoes for our aids or feet. Personality the "snowshoe" I have on my cane will only do so much and I can't afford myself any actual footwear that will protect me right now.

It doesn't just help your community but also protects you and your loved ones from accidents by doing more than just your driveway.

It might take some extra time but it's highly appreciated and worth it to provide the assistance to others.

Especially when it comes to sidewalks, snow plows cover those up like forgotten secrets under the rug.

If your main concern is your car sliding on ice, that exact feeling is what a lot of us have just leaving the house this winter.

Please for god sake go the extra mile and clear more than just your driveway

you have the most up to date jason reading order i've ever seen but i don't think it has the gotham war stuff yet, unless i missed it. do you have a breakdown of which joker: man who stopped laughing issues go on which side of which gotham war issues? i read the man who stopped laughing and then i read gotham war but both runs felt like half of jason's story and i can't figure it out lol

Alrighty folks I have put this off for long enough ~ specifically waiting until after I had my 'Pre-Admission' appointment at the hospital which was earlier today ( January 28th ); I got home both mentally and physically exhausted so after I post this I will likely immediately go to bed and rest up.

The Pre-Admission appointment was preparation for a Hysterectomy that is officially booked for February 3rd; for those of you that do not know... I've had cancer ( Grade 1 Endometrial - Cancer of the Uterus ) since August 2023 ~

What does this mean for my activity here om Tumblr? It is confirmed that regardless of the method used for surgery I will be in the hospital for a minimum of 3 days and 2 nights! So I will be mobile bound for that duration. HOWEVER, once I get home... this will depend completely on how fast my body recovers... I am unsure how long it will take until I can comfortably sit at my computer; could be a few days to a few weeks!

My personal goal for the rest of the week is to balance answering asks and catching up on drafts... hopefully get everything in there be from 2025 not stuck in 2024! Goodluck to me--

ANYWAY. I just wanted to thank everyone who has been super supportive and patient with me - especially over the last few months!
