Okay so an artist I like will be eventually touring in my country but I didn’t sign up for access for tickets (I think?) so I’m unsure whether I can still buy tickets or not

#starting from the start I had no idea that they were going to be touring in the uk #until a friend sent it to me like some time this week #me being me and in exam mode #I was like I’ll look at this after Friday my last exam #however when I click the link #because my friend was telling me that she was talking to this other girl about this and the process of signing up #also my friend isn’t a big fan so without her I would’ve had no idea #since I literally have no social media except for like YouTube and Snapchat #but even finding out info on YouTube is hard since I turned off notifications for it like ages ago #so this situation is kind of my fault #anyway I digress #but yes so I click the link and it shows that the registration period is closed #I missed it by a day #also I’ve never been to concert so I have literally no idea how this works 😅#so I’m assuming the sign up thing is for pre-sales #which I’m still confused about but I think it’s when you get early access to the tickets before other people #so I’m thinking oh maybe I’ll still be able to get tickets #but now I’m not so sure #but I’m so confused 😭😭#because from the FAQ questions I was under the assumption you could still get tickets without showing interest #since there is a cut off point not a max amount of sign ups so in theory if let’s say everyone signed up it would be the same as not #having the sign up thing #but I think I might not be able to get tickets period #which is okay it is just a concert at the end of the day #I can do other fun stuff #I’m still going to try get tickets #but I’m 99% sure I’ve missed the chance #but it’s okay #gatherrambles #gatherbabblesaboutnonsensicalstuff

i know this has been talked about to death already, but the way such a large part of the fandom characterises the marauders feels so mean spirited like- what do you mean they can barely tolerate each other? what do mean remus is always annoyed and exasperated what do you mean peter’s not part of the group what do you mean james is all sunshine and no substance what do you mean sirius’ existence warrants an apology in and of itself?

So here’s my… I don’t even know what to call it? It’s not a redraw because I definitely traced it, but it’s also more than just a coloring job. I guess I can call it an edit?

soooo… you may have noticed that I changed Jason’s outfit. That was by accident 😔. I misunderstood his clothes and by the time I realized, I was already committed. So then I thought… what if he’s just borrowing Dick’s hoodie? So I colored it red and here he is. Wearing Dicks hoodie.

also, I tried to keep with the original style, but by the time I got to inking that was kind of out the window bc I got super pen-happy.

Oh, also also! Nobody asked but this was my Batmobile ref (I flipped it)

I gotta find a faster way of coloring— I literally traced your art and it still took me 11 hours

#That Batmobile prob took the longest #I copy pasted it so I only drew it twice #but I made a bad decision with my layers so I had to ink it all four times separately #coloring it was confusing as hell and now that I’m zoomed way out I can see how odd it looks #Guys I’m not used to drawing metal that isn’t curved #I didn’t know where to put the highlights so I just shaded it like hair 😭😭#There’s a few other things I changed but all in all I tried to stick close to your vision #also that tire and his shoes took me awhile #Want you to know also that I sketched in bright magenta #fun fact I didn’t even ink the third panel #that one was very closely traced so the sketch was super clean and I didn’t wanna ink all those details #so I just turned it black and moved the layer up #I inked the Batmobile tho #This is probably gonna be the only page I do #Anyway y’all know that hyperfixation state where you draw for four hours straight and then suddenly you realize you’re starving and also —#have to pee super bad and you don’t even know what room to go in first?#Been awhile since I’ve been able to activate that

Witcher fans forgive me. I finally watched the Witcher because everyone raved about it for so long. I just. I just don’t like this show. Devastated. Everything good about it (which there is plenty) is overshadowed by the most annoying narrative choices. I never know what time it is in the show (past or present?) there’s random choppy moments that make no sense until so much later but with no intrigue, and Ciri aged so much between recording seasons that I thought they recast her. No hate to anyone who likes the show, there’s a ton of good stuff about it but these things I just can’t get past. They chop up a great idea until I keep pausing to go “wait what happened? WHO is that?” I know this has nothing to do with my blog but someone needs to know my insanity over this.

I'm possibly about to start a catfight with this late ass reply but who cares lmao

first of all...That post was NEVER about Zutara. Where did anyone get the idea I was trying to defend Zutara? It was about how I find the defenders annoying and WHY I find it badly written. Never was it about Zutara- where did anyone get that idea??? 😭It was more specifically on why I find Maiko defenders to be annoying personally. Also, the post wasn’t necessarily talking about why I don’t think Zuko and Mai’s personalities don’t go together but why I find it BADLY WRITTEN. Don’t you dare try to twist my words- 💀

What I’m saying is that some Maiko shippers say it like Mai is the ONLY one to make Zuko happy. Keyword: ONLY. I do acknowledge the scenes of Zuko smiling at Mai while they’re cuddling, but I’m just saying, that doesn’t mean he is his HAPPIEST or that his ONLY happy moments are with Mai. Iroh, the Gaang, etc all exist. “The irony of Zutara shippers acting like Zuko not bringing up Mai for two episodes, while he’s on a mission to save the word, means he does not love her.”

Once again: not about Zutara but okay!! Second: I’m not saying he has to bring her up constantly or some shit like that. I’m just saying it’d be nice if the creators added some kind of scene of either Zuko freeing Mai, or him at least worrying about her while she’s in the Boiling Rock. Why? To sell it to me more that they really care for each other. I’m not saying they don’t care for each other but I’m just saying, they could’ve done WAYY better selling it with good writing and scenes. That’s what I mean about Maiko, it doesn’t have enough scenes to be good at least to me. Similar to how in the fountain flashback we only see Mai’s pov, which was why the kiss in S3 ep 1 was so sudden and fell flat/unexpected for many people. Again: not saying they don’t care for each other! I’m saying they could’ve done way better selling it. Such as, having a tiny scene of Zuko worrying for Mai after the BR.
