Hey, guys?

People on the opposite side of the political spectrum can be good people too.

It's starting to make me really uncomfortable how divided everything is. People have adopted an "if you're not with us, you're against us" mentality when talking about the other side, and it's so jarring going from online where that's the norm to being in an Uber and your driver is the other side.

Online parties make the other side out to be monsters who want nothing more than to watch the world burn. And while that is absolutely true for some people (on BOTH SIDES), most people are far more sane than that.

Everyone's actions make sense to them. Everyone thinks they're in the right, at least to some degree.

Left-wingers aren't monsters under the bed out to kill and eat kids or something.

Right-wingers aren't shadows on the wall that stalk their prey at night.

But holy fuck the way they talk about each other, you'd think they are.

I'm not saying you gotta switch sides. What I am saying is that you're not helping out anything by "us vs them"ing the other half of the population in your head.

Most offline people either don't think some issues are as prevalent as they are, or just don't see how it applies to them and focus on their own lane. This (the second half) can be a bad thing, absolutely, but it can also be a good thing, too. Mostly it's neutral from what I've personally seen. The first half just means they should do more research, but if someone doesn't see why it matters then convincing them to do so in earnest will be hard.

That doesn't make them bad. Just means they're focused on other things. Just because someone doesn't get it doesn't mean they're the scum of the earth. There's plenty you don't know about, either. How dare you not know about every tiny conflict happening out there right now, y'know?

Love thy neighbor n all that. We're all just trying to live as best as we can at the end of the day.

Ok, let’s talk about a me-problem 

Sometimes, I love to talk about ship theme, but the more time passes, the more I find myself attracted to talk about more serious topics (not that ship cant be a way to talk about it, don't make me say what I didn't say, its just sometimes its not about ship all the time if you see what i mean?).

When i say "serious", it can be about the background of a character (for example, Burr's past) or about family's values (for another example, Hamilton's education about his children, he, a bastard, who had no place in this world and who wants his children to have a good life). OK, it might be because i'm getting old, or more specifically the interests of my age change (again, its a post with my very specific view, of course not everybody is the same at the same age, thanks GOD). Hamilton fandom (AND Disco Elysium is also a big influence, and many other medias) brought me a lot, just by bouncing on the musical, I became interested in the History of America during the 18th century, and believe me it was SO ENRICHING. For the first time, I researched on this unknown subject, I learned (still learning) to write about more complex characters than I was used to before. And the feeling to learn new things is INCREDIBLE.

But it can be lonely.

Thats why I started talking on tumblr.

Im not very good to use Tumblr for a diary, i'm more interested for the "social" part here.

So, tell me by reblog/comments what is your favorite subject you discover because of the Hamilton fandom!! It can be about the historical side, the musical, why not a fucking rare AU on which you are working right now. For the shy people, you can of course just liked it there, it would be incredible to see other peoples relate to this ❤️ ❤️ ❤️

that's great buddy but don't go around thinking you're immune to this. if you're not looking for plagiarism, you likely won't notice it unless its egregiously obvious. hell, you've probably consumed plagiarized content without even realizing it. even hbomb pointed out that these people disguised what they presented pretty well as long as you didn't try and dig deeper. don't come away just thinking of this as a callout piece, take this as an important lesson about vetting your sources. if googling scripts in quotes was enough to expose the original, we should all start doing that shit!!

Video game I saw in a dream. It was in this low poly style like an older video game. You play as this character I think was meant to be a lamb, or maybe a weird mix of a lamb a mouse and a rabbit, (while not really looking like any of those things) and you’re running away from a wolf. Your objective is to last as long as possible before the wolf catches and eats you.

The house you’re running in is endless and bizarrely put together like most building interiors in dreams are (like the infinite toilet dream dimension on Reddit lol) the layout of the house is pretty detailed, you can stop and hide in places like closets or bins while the wolf looks for you, you can go up and down stairs and into rooms etc.

You never actually know where the wolf is or how close it is to you until it appears in your line of sight, it makes no noise and the game gives you no way of knowing where it is, and it’s pretty unpredictable it doesnt move at a consistent pace. When the wolf catches you there’s an animation showing it eating your character
