Fair warning, if you have a bluesky account and are open about being Cluster B in any way, check clearsky and look yourself up on it. Chances are you may be on this list, much like myself lmao. Warning for classic Cluster B demonization in the description:
I've already said my piece on when I found out I was put on a list like this with a desc like that. TL;DR: it's foul to be accused of being automatically abusive just because I have a disorder that I didn't ask for from being abused myself and also imply I (and everyone on this list) was also never traumatized/abused... and god forbid these people ever listen to any sort of sensible and reasonable attempt at educating them.
Also I'm not sure why 'MAP' is being included in this list as well. When I originally checked this list it wasn't there, but whoever is running this added it recently for whatever reason...? Really fucking weird.

Hello! Soz to be a bother, but could i ask you about your experiences having ASPD in the UK? I'm thinking of pursuing a diagnosis myself but I'm unsure - it's not the best treated label, eh?
If you don't want to answer you can just delete this, cheers.
Well, to put it plainly: Terrible. Uk healthcare professionals are pretty shite with me in general because Iâm an ex addict with a violent history, but they do treat me a LOT worse because of my ASPD. Especially when it comes to mental healthcare profs (mhps).
Iâve had the police called on me for being mildly agitated because they wouldnât let me leave the centre when I was perfectly stable and they were trying to force me to take medication I didnât want or need
Iâve been sedated for being mildly agitated in the a&e
Iâve been intentionally passed over and ignored about my pain in the a&e
My report of sexual assault was ridiculed by the mhp I made it to on the basis that he âthought people like me wouldnât care about that kind of thingâ
I have legitimately been told in no uncertain terms to kill myself by a therapist before
I am often assumed to be dangerous or aggressive before I ever even do anything by mhps
I have been told by mhps that I couldnât have been abused and that actually all of my abuse was probably my fault
And the list goes on. Thereâs also the legal aspect. If youâre diagnosed with ASPD and then commit a crime, there is a good chance that they will try to spin that your ASPD means you deserve a harsher sentence.
All in all, wouldnât recommend. If you want to be treated for ASPD, find a sympathetic PD specialist and ask to focus on symptoms rather than diagnoses.

I'm literally crying. Of course Reddit crapped out where I needed it to work the most. Someone was degrading another user for having Valentino as their comfort character. They also used "narcissistic" as an insult. I told them that that was ableist, and to knock it off, and they said that it wasn't ableist because Val was "clearly narcissistic" (??? tf) and to go bother someone else. I seriously can't handle this amount of rage inside my body, I wouldn't wish this emotional pain on my worst enemy. What the actual fuck is wrong with that person?

It is way too late for this to be cohesive but i am sick to DEATH of coquette girlies woobifying BPD. #girl interrupted syndrome teehee BE FUCKING FOR REAL AND GET OUT OF MY FACE.

And that's just the explicit part, it's just fucking permeated through that whole community that they're romanticizing and even like. Idealizing symptoms of BPD. The chronic emptiness, the split episodes, the favourite person, all the parts of it that are aesthetic and Hashtag Female Rage. Well I'm going to tell you right fucking now that BPD has ruined my life. It's horrific and I absolutely h a t e having it, and to see girls blog on their shitty little ribbons and ballet slipper covered tumblrs basically playing pretend that they have the socially glamorized version of BPD is a slap in the fucking face and I'm not even going to pretend it doesn't fill me with mercurial rage. They build an online persona around the behaviors of BPD without actually knowing what it's like to experience it firsthand and its fucking weird.
It is the female version of guys fetishizing my BPD. I have never. Ever. Had a conversation with a man who was interested in me about my bpd and what that means in terms of relationships without me hitting me with a solid "haha yea i love girls with daddy issues/yanderes are so hot/nah i love obsessive girls" how about I shove that up your ass.
BPD ableism is a double edged sword and I NEED people to make up their minds. Do I have Evil Person Disorder who will manipulate you and control every aspect of our relationship or am I an aloof yet beautiful manic pixie nightmare nymphomaniac who would kill for you. Both are fucking gross but at least I'll know how to act to protect myself.
In conclusion. I have a deep fucking scathing hatred for coquette aesthetic girls who do this.

Gladly <3
'Narc abuse' or any type of '*insert pd* abuse' isn't real and if you think it is then please go suck on a cactus.

Having empathy is morally neutral. Not having empathy is morally neutral. Having high empathy is morally neutral. Having low empathy is morally neutral.
Empathy is not what makes you a good or bad person. Actions do, feeling don't.

One of the main problems around people with personality disorders (particularly cluster B), psychotic disorders, OSDD/DID/other CDDs or other stigmatised mental conditions is, well... Everything we do gets put back onto our disorder. Every fault, every misstep, every mistake is used as proof to say that the stigma of us all being horrible people is right.
We can say "not everyone with x disorder harms people, and in fact we're more likely to BE harmed and abused than we are to hurt others" as much as we like--and of course, that's a true statement. But the moment someone with a stigmatised mental illness does something wrong, it's "of course you'd do xyz, you're a narcissist" or "checks out with the psychosis".
Someone with ASPD could cut someone off for any valid reason, but anyone else could spin it into "yeah, that's sociopaths for you". Someone with psychosis could wrongfully accuse someone of something and without being given a chance to apologise, suddenly it's "this is why we don't trust delusional people like you" and you're discredited from here on out. Someone with DID could genuinely forget that their alter had an argument with someone and be trying to sort it out, but no one wants to hear that something was forgotten in the amnesia, so and all they get is "see, people with DID just blame everything on their alters".
People with stigmatised disorders are just like anyone else. They're not evil or uniquely capable of harm, but that also means they're not incapable of making mistakes. Everyone is entitled to their own limits but I think people need to be more aware that disabled people can make genuine mistakes and one slip up or argument doesn't mean that pwNPD is secretly manipulating you. Sometimes people are manipulative and you need to be able to tell the difference--just like neurotypicals, disabled people can be abusive. But blaming mistakes or even genuine malice on someone's disorder does nothing but harm a marginalised group of people. If you wouldn't say "of course you would, you're neurotypical" to someone abusing someone else or if that wouldn't make sense to you, why would you do it to disabled people?

I don't know who needs to hear this, but 99% of the time that ex of yours is not actually a narcissist or a sociopath simply because they sucked and you hate them. By using these words you are in fact demonizing actual mentally ill people, unlike your ex who is far more likely to just be an asshole

âDonât let your disorder define youâ
Okay but do you support the people whose disorders do define them?
Do you support people with the chronic illnesses who have had to develop whole lives around their conditions? Do you support the intellectually disabled people whose whole way of thinking is defined by their disorder? Do you support the people with personality disorders who literally have a disorder as a personality? Do you support the autism/ADHD people whose disorder you canât separate from who they are? Do you support the DIDOSDD people who have multiple definitions of themselves because of their disorder?
Or are you just saying that because a disorder defining someone means you canât ignore it.

Unfortunately, I think stigmatised disorder (personality disorders, psychotic disorders, etc) culture is realising something you experience has a name and finally feeling seen, but you go to google it for more resources and only find people talking about how horrible and morally evil you are for daring to have that symptom you never chose in the first place.

the thing that gets me the most about ableism against pdâs is that ppl will be like âthese disorders make you an ASSHOLE!!!!â and then turn around and pretend that other disorders canât and donât make you act shitty.
depression and anxiety can make you irritable and snappy. they can cause you to refuse to listen to people and to be distant and withdrawn. they can cause you to seem angry, bitchy, rude, uncaring, etc.
ptsd causes an array of difficulties in forming meaningful relationships. it pretty much shakes up your entire worldview and sense of self a lot of the time. ptsd can cause you to get angry often. it can cause you to yell and scream. it can cause you to withdraw from others, run away, or cut them out. it can cause general changes in demeanor and more cynical worldviews. it can make you seem grouchy, negative, explosive, impolite, difficult, needy, controlling, etc.
and yet when people with personality disorders have symptoms of that nature, suddenly we are irredeemable monsters. when itâs npd, bpd, hpd, or aspd instead of ptsd or depression and anxiety, people suddenly and magically lose the ability to be understanding.
mental illness is an explanation, not an excuse. i firmly believe that. hurting others is never justified simply because you have any disorder.
but if you can be patient with people who have depression, anxiety, ptsd, ocd, or any other LESS stigmatized mental illness, you can be patient with us.
