It’s easy if you’d do it right Part 2
Commander Cody x Jedi Reader
Summary: After their meeting in the trainings hall the Jedi avoids the Commander…turns out he doesn’t likes it.
Word count: 1793
Warnings: feelings, fluff, mentions of war, use of Y/N, fmc, mentions of loss, intimate moment, lots of sexual tension, let’s just say no walls were harmed, angry Commander Cody, Obi-Wan being a wingman, angsty, swearing
A/N: Here is finally part 2 of “it’s easy if you’d do it right”. I hope you like the last part of this little one shot. Originally this had an other kinda outcome with more angsty Cody, but I guess this one’s better, but idk. Let me know if you want to read the other one as well.
Tumblr media
“And that’s how we’ll do it. Anakin and the 501st will help us after.” Master Kenobi ended the briefing for us. We were heading to a mission in the outer rim and suspected Grievous there. There was a good chance that we could finally catch him and destroy his army of clankers and bring a bit more peace to the galaxy.
„Commander, Admiral you are dismissed“, Obi-Wan finished and gave me his full attention as they left us alone. I raised my eyebrows. When he looked at me with that look I felt like I’d done something wrong. Massively wrong.
„What is it Obi-Wan?“, I sighed rubbing my temples displeased.
His arms crossed while his face turned from full serious to an huge smile as he noticed that everyone else had left us behind.
“My dear, what did you do to our beloved Commander?”, he asked eyebrows raising slowly and smile widening. I never saw Obi-Wan like that before and I knew him a while now since he kinda adopted me to his -now our- battalion. Excited and fully invested in someone else’s drama if you’d call it that. This man was here for the tea. I always thought he was the calm and sticking to the rules type of guy and not like Skywalker. A man who gave a kriff about rules and just did his mission like he likes it.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about”, I mumbled under my breath turning slightly away from him, but he was a Jedi Master. Looking right through me and my flustered behaviour. And he also knew his Commander very well and noticed that Cody behaved different than normally. Not visible for someone who didn’t know him as well as we did, but still kinda obvious if you’re looking for a change in his mood.
“We both know that this is a lie. You’re both acting weird since a few days and you’re ignoring him completely. What happed to you and your friendship? Did Cody do something wrong?” Master Kenobi was worried. I could sense it, but behind his worry was something else as well. Hope. But hope for what?
“Master”, I began, but he disrupted me.
“He tried talking to you, but you’re avoiding him. I saw it the other day.”
I bit my lip. Regret waved like flames through me. I knew that he wanted to talk. I sensed it, but after all meetings I just raced away so we didn’t have to talk about it. After our meeting in the trainings hall I thought he just wanted to forget about it and keep moving on without lending it a second thought. Cody had seemed so unbothered like it was and meant nothing to him when my comm interrupted us, so I tried to calm my nerves and feels for him as I suggested that I didn’t have a chance if I tried talking to him. He seemed uninterested in me. Like he didn’t have the same feelings as I had for him.
“I’m sorry.” The apology was weak and Obi-Wan knew that as well. But at least it was honest.
“Don’t say that to me. Speak with Cody. He isn’t himself anymore and I worry about him as much as I do for you, my dear.” Fathers like he patted my shoulder before I left to go to my room. I had to clean my thoughts before I could finally speak with Cody ‘cause Obi-Wan was right. I had to talk to him. We worked together and things would not turn out well on the battle field if we didn’t clarify everything.
But for now I had to clear my thoughts. Otherwise I’d just mumble nonsense plus announce things he didn’t want to know about. Like my romantic feelings for him. My not-so-Jedi-like attachment to him.
Deep in thoughts, as I walked to my barracks, I didn’t notice the person following and quickly catching up on me before dragging me into an empty room and pressing me into the wall. The air in my lungs leaving them quickly as my eyes were going wide as I took the person, pressing me to the wall, in. Cody. Kriff no. He always had the baddest timings.
“What the hell is going on with you?”, he shouted. His eyes were blazing with fire as he pressed me further into the wall. A deep furrow between his eyebrows. He was angry. Fucking angry. I never saw him like that before. Sure, I’d seen him mad if Waxer or Boil had done something stupid again. But not like that. He was for real not himself. His three days beard wasn’t shaved and he looked like a mess and nothing like the Commander everyone respected and looked up to. Deep rings were under his eyes and his eyes itself were entirely sad and exhausted. They no longer had that shine which I adored. And I hadn’t noticed till now. Was too focused to keep myself together to see Cody’s struggle.
“What do you mean?” Was my slow respond. Not very clever, because I didn’t know how to start this conversation and what I should say or even where I should start.
Cody laughed bitter, “You’re avoiding me. You’re fucking acting like nothing had happened between us.”
I gasped for air. The room between us too small to breath clearly. All I could sense was Cody. The Commanders smell was hypnotising and the proximity was almost too much to handle. But even now I enjoyed his company. Even when he yelled at me. I wasn’t scared of him, he was just done with me and my acting. Obviously, I would feel the same way if he’d act like I did.
„Commander I-“
„No, don’t call me by my title. The moment in the trainings hall, I have to know, did it mean something to you? Or was it just a moment you got lost in, ‘cause you Jedi aren’t allowed to have something like that. Because for me it meant something more.“
My breath hitched. There were no thoughts left inside my brain. But there were also no needed, because the next second he pressed his lips into mine. His large hands were on me. My hips, my waist all over me while my own found it’s way around his neck to scrub his scalp with my nails making him moan slightly and parting his lips. He parted mine rough with his tongue and I happily obeyed. Cody was all over me as he kissed me with his teeth, mouth and tongue. But it wasn’t just a kiss. It was a kiss on my body and soul. With his hole body looming all over mine and tying me in. Cody was here and he meant this kiss with his hole entire being. I sensed it through the force as it waved like fire right through me. Cody not just wanted me. He wanted me to be his reason to life and fight. And I wanted him to be my reason. A reason that’s every fight and every war worth.
We only broke away from each other to catch a breath. As soon as he wasn’t all over me anymore I missed him and wanted to be this close to him again. I needed him. Needed to feel him as clearly as I had seconds ago.
Our chests were rising and falling heavily as we tried to steady ourselves. Foreheads touching each other while Cody held me close to him. His thumbs making gentle circles around my waist. Spreading goosebumps like he did the other day in the trainings hall. I didn’t look at him, but I felt his eyes on me. Worried that he did something wrong and crossed a line, but also hopeful that I felt the same way as he did.
“You mean more to me, then you should and it scares me so kriffing much. It scares me that I can’t be with you all time to protect you even though I know that you’re able to protect yourself. I can’t loose you and I need you.” His words were almost just a whisper. Full of angst and the fear of loss. Cody lost too many. His brothers and friends. Family. Sometimes it was harder to survive than to die.
As I looked up into his eyes, they were already lingering on me. Searching for a sign that this was okay and I also wanted it.
“Cody”, I breathed his name and sensed how he shifted uncomfortable as his hands on my waist tightens his grip slightly. Like he didn’t want to loose me. Cody was scared of my reaction and I’d feel the same if I had told him straight about my feelings like he just did.
“When I’m not with you I feel incomplete. Whenever I see you around my heart jumps so much and makes me want to forget about the Jedi codex. It scares me to see you on a battle field, ‘cause every time you’re standing there, could be the last time I sense and feel you. See you alive. And I’m pretty sure if I had to see you death on a battle field I’d lose myself.”
My answer was honest and clear. Told him straight how I felt and was absolute right. I never felt as good in my life before. A huge weight was took from my heart.
His forehead found its way against mine again. I felt my one heart nearly jumping out of my chest. Suddenly there was a warmth inside of me that just had to come from Cody and his body. He took a deep breath in, before he said his next words. “What do we now?”
I sighed, “Keeping us a secret till the end of the war. And then we run away together if they want to us to break up.”
Cody sighed heavily. “This will be difficult.”
“But we have to try. Or they kill us both.”
He knew that I was right. Everybody knew about the severe penalties for clones who did not follow the rules and orders.
There was a pause between us. Silence, before Cody broke it again.
“May I kiss you again?”
I smiled while he chuckled slightly, before our eyes met. The sadness was all washed from him. Cody looked relieved and felt relieved as I touched him through the force. A better future for us. That was it what we were fighting for. A new hope for some kind of peace. A future were we didn’t have to fight anymore to be free and could do and feel how we’d liked.
I leaned up a bit to meet him half way, “Yes, Commander.”

💛 Cody 💛
Tumblr media
He is a tough man to crack.
He’s always the Marshal Commander, taking his duties seriously on and off the battlefield.
You started innocently, visions of you kissing up and down his torso, slowly taking off his armor and blacks, fondling his cock, whispering how good of a girl you’ve been and that you’re ready to please your Commander in any way.
Cody didn’t even look at you, though you saw his hand twitch slightly at his side.
You smiled to yourself, projecting a more enticing scene into his mind.
This time, you were sucking his cock, his gloved hand wrapped in your hair, mumbling how amazing your lips felt around him, how much he was going to reward you later for being so good to him.
Still, nothing. Though his jaw seemed tense as he listened to Obi-Wan go over battle plans.
You knew you were playing a dangerous game, an exceedingly dangerous game, one that you will be thouroughly punished for later.
The thought shot a jolt of pleasure straight to your core, upping the ante again, needing him to crack.
The next image was of you, laying on his bunk, pleasuring yourself, two fingers deep inside your sopping pussy, your other hand pinching and tweaking your nipples writhing and moaning in pleasure, getting off completely fine without his assistance.
Since my Commander can’t be bothered to help me, I have to take matters into my own hands…
You held that teasing, lewd image in his mind, and you could almost feel the blade of his stare pierce straight through you as he finally made eye contact across the room.
It was a simple gesture that said so much, and you knew you had him.
After the meeting, you went straight to your personal quarters, knowing he wouldn’t be too far behind.
As your door hissed closed behind you, it was open again, and Cody had you pinned to a nearby wall so fast you barely had time to register what was happening.
Cody was deadly silent as he crushed his lips to yours in a bruising kiss, teeth and tongue clashing as his armored body pressed into your robed one.
You smirked against his lips as he pulled away for air, your lungs burning. “Cody-“
Cody growled as he flipped you around, your face pressed up agains the wall, tugging down your robes, revealing your ass to him and your glistening pussy.
He gave your ass a solid smack, his lips against your ear, heavy and commanding.
“You’re not getting away with this.”
You sighed in both pain and pleasure, hearing the clunk of his codpiece hitting the floor, his fingers gripping your ass hard as he rubbed his rigid cock at your entrance.
“Is this what you wanted?” He husked, “to be filled by your Commander? To beg for this cock? Oh, mesh’la, you’ll be begging.”
You let out a whine as he teased your dripping entrance with his cockhead, already thinking you maybe took it a little too far with your visions, knowing he was a man true to his word.
It was too late now.
“Cody, please, I need-“
Smack! Another slap to your ass, his other hand wandering between your folds.
“Only good, obedient girls get this cock. After that stunt in the comm room, you have a lot to make up for.“
He swiped a finger over your clit, causing you to cry out, your body twitching, unable to move much between the wall and his solid form behind you.
He roughly rubbed your clit, pushing two fingers into your entrance, immediately finding the spongy spot that made you see stars.
“You’re soaking, mesh’la, so needy for me.”
You could feel your release coming quickly, choking out his name as his other hand groped at your breast.
Cody knew you were close, feeling you tighten around him, your high pitched moans giving you away.
Cody removed his fingers right as you were about to reach your peak.
You whimpered, trying to lean back against him, desperate for your release, for anything.
Cody spun you around again, pressing his gloved fingers soaked with your juice to your lips.
“If you’re good, I’ll let you cum. You haven’t proved yourself to me, though. Now be a good girl, and clean me up.”
You licked his gloved fingers clean, tasting yourself and giving him a little show of what you could do with your tongue, if you let him.
Cody’s eyes darkened, slowly pulling his fingers out of your mouth, a line of spit connecting your lips to his fingers.
“On your knees, mesh’la. Like I said, you have a lot to make up for.”
🖤 Wolffe 🖤
Tumblr media
The image you projected was absolutely filthy.
Your hands were pinned behind your back by his large hand, the other pressing between your shoulder blades keeping you down on the bed as he pounded into you from behind.
You were shamelessly moaning his name like a dirty Holofilm star, crying out for him to go harder, faster.
You stood at attention, casually glancing at him, noticing a bead of sweat forming at Wolffe’s temple.
You could sense he was trying his best not to leap over the holomap and ravage you in front of everyone.
You decided he had enough of the first fantasy, briefly closed your eyes, projecting another scene into his mind.
You were on your knees in front of him, your mouth open as he shoots ropes of cum all over your face, greedily lapping it up, kissing up and down his still-hard cock, begging for more.
Wolffe’s eyes flashed at you, his cybernetic eye and scar making him look more dangerous than usual, his eyes narrowing.
Got him.
You were enjoying watching him keep it together, a vein bulging at his forehead, his neck tense as he stood at attention, listening to Master Koon’s hologram.
You knew you were in for it after the meeting.
That was the entire point.
Wolffe was practically kicking down the door to your personal quarters after the meeting, pinning you to your bed, his mouth ravaging yours, moving down to suck and bite at your neck, hard.
He had your wrists held above your head with one hand, his grip like iron.
There was no escape.
“What was that?” He growled as he continued the assault on your neck, his hand tightening even more around your wrists that were wiggling to get free.
You whined as his hand that was digging into your waist moved under your robes, up toward your breasts.
“Answer me, mesh’la. Or you won’t get what you so obviously want.”
His gloved touch left a trail of fire on your skin, sending goosebumps across your body and a jolt of arousal straight to your pussy, your panties wet at the anticipation.
“You looked bored during the meeting.” You smirked at up at him, breathy pants leaving you as he touched you. “Thought you could use some entertainment.”
Wolffe’s gaze darkened at your teasing tone, the ghost of a smirk on his lips.
Without warning, he ripped open the front of your robes, yanking down your breast band.
You yelped as he attacked your breasts with this lips and teeth, leaving more marks for him to gently kiss over later when he was through with you.
“Do you want my cum, mesh’la? Is that what you want?” Wolffe grunted against your flushed skin as he switched to your other breast.
You gasped a yes, his teeth expertly nipping and tugging at your sensitive bud.
You writhed, your wrists still restrained above your head by his strong hand.
“I’ll fill your mouth to the brim, and you’ll swallow every drop, isn’t that right you filthy girl?”
You nodded, almost delirious just at his mouth on your nipples. He hadn’t even really started touching you yet.
“And then I’ll fill that pretty pussy of yours, but only if you behave. Will you behave for me?”
“Y-yes!” Your voice cracked, needing him to fuck you until you couldn’t remember your name.
“Yes…?” He stopped, his predatory gaze locking on you.
“Yes…Commander.”
“Good girl.”
Wolffe continued ravaging your breasts, your mewls filling the room.
“Please, I want your cock inside me, I want you to cum so deep inside me, Wolf-Commander. I’ll be good, I promise…”
Wolffe released your wrists, your hands finally free.
“You haven’t been good though, you knew that the second you invaded my mind with those visions.”
Wolffe sat up, and began removing his armor. You forgot it was even still on.
“I’ll make sure you’re properly punished for such distractions, and then I’ll decide when you’re ready for my cock.”
You shivered at his promise as he climbed over you, just in his blacks, the outline of his rigid cock straining against the fabric.
“I dunno, Commander. You seem to be all bark and no bite.” You teased, knowing you were getting yourself into even more trouble.
A dark chuckle reverberated in his chest, ripping your pants and panties down your legs, tossing them to the side.
Wolffe grasped your thighs, biting down into the soft flesh of your inner leg, earning a loud yelp from you as his tongue eased the first of many marks he will leave on your body.
“Be careful what you wish for, mesh’la.”
💙 Rex 💙
Tumblr media
You had him sweating and fidgeting as Rex tried to keep a straight face in the briefing room.
Rex was attempting to listen to the mission report, but your vision in his mind was proving to be quite the distraction.
You were on his face, his hands grasping your thighs as he feasted on your pussy from below.
“Rex, oh kriff, more, please, I need your big cock, I want you to ruin me.”
Rex gave you a desperate look from across the room, slightly shaking his head.
You ignored his pleading glance, changing the vision.
Now, you were splayed out on his desk in his private Captain’s quarters, his cock driving deeper and deeper into you, your back arching as you rubbed your clit, cumming over and over again around him.
His desk was dripping with your juices, your breasts bouncing almost comically as you cried out his name, hamming up the vision to see Rex squirm.
Rex suddenly coughed, everyone in the room looking at him momentarily.
You rocked on your heels, hands behind your back, pretending to listen as the pre-mission brief continued, completely innocent.
Finally, the meeting ended.
You exited the room, Rex quickly walking past you.
“My office. Now.” He hissed quietly, before being called over by Anakin to discuss further plans.
When Rex opened the door to his office, you were sitting at his desk, waiting for him.
“You have a lot of explaining to do, General.” Rex strode up to you, placing his hands on his desk, leaning over toward you.
You loved it when he used his serious Captain voice on you.
“I don’t know what you’re talking about, Captain.”
“You know.” His voice dropped an octave, husky and gruff, just how you liked it.
“You’ll have to elaborate. I can’t read minds.”
Rex stood up straight, his expression unreadable. You continued to sit in his chair as he walked around the desk and over to you.
Rex leaned down again, placing his hands on the armrests of the chair, caging you in.
For a moment, you thought he was actually upset with you. You felt guilty, maybe you did take it too far in the meeting.
You opened your mouth to apologize, but Rex spoke first.
“I think you can, mesh’la. How else would you know those visions are what I think about doing to you every waking moment?”
His lips were hovering centimeters from yours, a quiet gasp leaving your lips, your body quivering at his statement.
Oh, he liked it.
His breath fanned over your face, feeling your panties dampen, his usual soft eyes glazed over with lust.
You leaned forward to close the small distance, wanting to taste him, but he pulled away, avoiding your kiss.
“Mmm, mesh’la. You’re not going to get what you want so easily.” Rex purred in your ear, his gloved hand snaking up your neck, tilting your head to the side.
He placed a hot kiss right below your ear, lazily licking your neck.
“Rex…” you sighed, grasping at his shoulder pads, his teeth grazing your skin, his lips pressing to the side of your jaw.
“You want something from me?” He removed himself from you, kneeling between your legs.
“I’m not sure if you deserve it. I could write you up for what you did back there.”
Rex hooked his fingers under your pants, pulling them down your legs. You lifted your ass, helping him remove your lower clothes.
“Yeah? What would the report say?” You shuddered as Rex began lavishing your bare thighs, teeth and tongue sucking and nibbling as he slowly made his way up to your aching apex.
You could feel Rex smirk against your skin.
“My General coercing me into questionable situations. Inappropriate use of Jedi abilities.”
Rex stopped right at your core, aching and throbbing for him. You could feel his breath on your pussy, desperate now for any friction.
You let out a frustrated whine as Rex kissed your inner thigh, ignoring where you needed him most.
“Rex…”
“Patience, mesh’la. You need a lesson in discipline, it seems.”
Rex brushed his nose against your clit, your hips instinctually bucking up toward him, your hands grasping at his buzzed hair.
You groaned impatiently as he gently kissed your labia, touching you everywhere but your clit.
“You’re not going to get what you want so easily.” He rumbled into your core, a finger now teasing your entrance.
You panted, knowing you asked for this, that you deserved this, but you could still protest to his teasing.
“Captain, please…” You begged, shifting your hips, hoping he would press his finger knuckle deep inside you.
Rex continued to just tease your entrance with his finger tip, slowly circling, not quite pressing all the way inside.
“Kriff, you’re so wet. Do you want me to fuck you on my desk? Do you want to cum over and over again on my cock?”
You nodded, heavy pants the only sound able to leave your lips as he finally pressed his finger inside.
“Use your words, is that what you want?”
Rex’s lips were brushing over your clit, the teasing almost too much.
“Y-yes! Please, Rex, I need you inside me!” Your words came out as a garbled cry as he suddenly sucked on your clit, adding a second finger to your pussy, stretching you so deliciously you thought you might cry, pleasure shooting up your spine.
And his cock wasn’t even inside you yet.
“You’ll get my cock, mesh’la, don’t worry. But first, I want you to cum just like this.” Rex added a third finger, his tongue and lips circling your clit, your vision white from the pleasure as you squirmed and writhed in his chair, totally at his mercy, your orgasm building quickly.
You came apart on his fingers, shaking and sobbing his name, pleasure coursing through you as Rex’s fingers and mouth worked you through your first orgasm.
“You’re so beautiful when you cum.” Rex’s pupils were blown with desire, licking his lips as he cleaned you up, his baritone voice was laden with desire, his control now gone.
You barely had time to come down from you high as Rex easily lifted you onto his desk, removing his codpiece in a flash, pulling down his blacks far enough for his flushed, dripping cock to spring free.
“And you’re going to cum again, and again, and again. Are you ready, mesh’la? This is what you asked for.”
Your answer was a cry of his name, his hands gripping your hips as he slammed into you, starting a devastating pace, fucking you exactly like you showed him in your vision.
Your last coherent thought before being so thoroughly fucked and blissed out by your Captain was that you should definitely tease him like this more often.

Cody’s head hurt again.
But it wasn’t like last time, he was in control now and always will be.
“How are you feeling Kotes?” Rex came around the tables and laid a hand on Cody’s shoulder.
To be honest Cody wasn’t sure what he was feeling, if anything. Nausea sat in the pit of his stomach but he feared that it wasn’t just from the procedure he went through.
A hand reached up to the side of his head, the fresh bandage felt course under his hand- the all to familiar feeling of before.
“I’m fine.” Cody’s voice was raspy and burned his throat- Rex picked up on this and quickly went to get him a drink of water.
There he sat alone.
He was alone for a while now, but nothing like this. If you went back a few week you would see the small spark of hope illuminating in his eyes.
Cody wasn’t sure of a lot of things since the war ended but maybe it was the illusion of hope that he and Crosshair could escape together.
“Good soldiers follow orders.”
Then Cody went AWOL. Finally it seemed that he got his mind right- the headaches and the dreams that plagued him however said otherwise.
Rex walked back in. Cody’s eyes were clouded in thought as he sat unmoving on the table.
Placing a ginger hand on his knee Rex has never seen is brother in such a state. But the way he felt in this moment- finally getting his free will totally returned to him was something he would never forget.
“Hey Kotes,” Rex helped him to his feet and lend him out into the halls. “We found something you might need to take a look at.”
Cody almost instantly snapped back to attention as the pair of brothers made their way back to the ship they arrived on.
“A few radars picked up on some chatter from the bounty hunters guild.” Rex returned to the Captain Cody knows and loves, things were going back to how they use to be.
“Why would your crew have any interest in the guilds?” Cody questioned, a little slow to connect the dots. “Your fighting an empire here.”
Rex stared at him for a moment, his try at a sarcastic tone clearly flew over Rex’s head.
It was one of the only times Cody has ever seen Rex so unsure about what he was about to say. “We picked up Y/N’s location. The bounty for Jedi are unbelievably high and I’m worried if one of us doesn’t get there in time it might go sour.”
Cody froze in his seat, the end of Rex’s sentence seemed to go blurry. The moment replayed every hour of the day, awake or asleep. He memorized the moment when he watched Obi-wan fall from that terrible hight.
He remembered the look you gave him as he turned to you, your lightsaber coming up in your shaky hands staring at him.
“Cody what’s going on?”
“I- they made it?” Cody looked at Rex, the dark thought that he was playing a terrible joke on him.
Rex only nodded his confirmation. Waiting for Cody to see just want he would do.
You wouldn’t want to see him. Cody didn’t even want to see himself. The terrors he’s created would never wash off no matter how hard he scrubbed.
The armor that surrounded him all his life was striped away, just like everything he has ever known. His sunshine was stripped away as well.
Taking a shaky breath in Cody whispered. “Take me to them.”
•••
Your head hurt again.
It was just like the last time, the moment you realized nobody was on your side anymore.
The purge left you stranded by yourself, unsure of what to do you fled as far as you could.
The outer rim served its purpose for now but the empire was expanding, and the hunters became bolder with their search.
Against your better judgment you tried to reach Ahsoka, Hunter even but it was no use.
Maybe now you were by yourself. Cutoff.
You sat up straight in your makeshift bed. The sheets bawled into your fist as your chest heaved and sweet ran down your back.
You weren’t safe even in your own mind.
You watched him fall. The scream you let out as you lost him over the edge. Everyone around you went off.
Cody. Your Cody turned to you next- all around you heard the all too familiar sound of blasters raising. Cody aimed for you as you brought your weapon up, the thought of hurting any of them never crossed your mind before.
“Cody.” You had tried. “Cody what’s going on?”
The blaster that was shot at you was the moment you woke this time. Other times you weren’t as lucky to be spared with the memory.
The sky was masked with the darkness of the night, your clock told you at you barely sleep 2 hours since you tried to go to sleep.
You gathered yourself as practically dragged yourself to the only window in your “home”
This wasn’t home. Nothing would come close to what the word use to mean to you, but it was soemthing keeping you mildly safe.
The sky above never really changed, it was the only constant you found after the end of the war. The only thing you could depend on that would never harm you.
Your head buzzed again, for a split second you turned to your hidden saber, the weapon you couldn’t pick up since you arrived on this rock. The crystal within buzzed constantly in your ear, begging to be picked up once again.
It use to be a background noise that grounded you, but things have changed.
You stared into the darkness for a moment, the lightsaber wasn’t it. Turning your attention back to the outside world the familiar feeling felt crooked in your chest.
It wasn’t really right, but it was something you recognized none the less.
A cloak that you threw around yourself countless times before made its way to your shoulders- masking you from others and you left closing your door silently behind you.
For a moment you thought maybe, just maybe it was your master heat to tell you everything would be ok, to help you just as he had countless times before.
But you couldn’t think like that, like you use too. Hope burned within you as you followed the force you tried desperately to get rid of.
•••
Cody tried the comm channel he used countless times before, he could practically put it in with his eyes closed.
But of course no answer.
He did try once before- the first night he ran from the empire, alone in the back of a transport ship he tried to reach the Jedi he grew fond of.
It was one of the only instants the commanders eyes watered slightly and his nose ran.
Rex was waiting near by with the ship as he walked the streets of this planet alone. His armor was covered with a poncho Rex lent him and frankly it was the best he could do.
He hoped that you weren’t here, the disgusting streets and inhabitants made him sick. But what if this was better than see him again?
Cody shook that last thought. His hand shook slightly at his side which was a nervous habit he picked up a long time ago.
His eyes scanned the dark scenery for any sign that you might have been here, a sign Cody hoped nobody else could pick up on.
On instinct he turned down an alley to his left, this was definitely not the place to be at this time.
His eyes squinted trying to pin point a figure towards the end. This was the only time he wished for his helmet that didn’t seem his own.
Something ate at the inside of him again. His breath was sparse wondering if his eyes were playing tricks on him. If his mind was no longer his own.
The figure took a few steps from the shadows that engulfed them. The moon illuminated someone that haunted every minute of his life.
You held a blaster out in front of you, but this time you didn’t shake.
Cody didn’t dare take another step. His eyes were firmly planted on the ground as he kneeled down dropping his blaster in front of him.
“Cody?”
He could only nod, afraid that his voice would highlight just how vulnerable he felt in this very moment.
But he had to say something, he couldn’t leave you again.
“I’m- I’m so sorry kid.” His voice broke through his words. This uncertain feeling engulfed him like a flame showing no mercy. “Sorry, I’m sorry.”
You stared at him for a moment. Taking in the sight- clearly things were different. The sunshine was stripped from him. His eyes, though they tried to avoid you, seemed hollow.
You thought of two things in this moment.
You wanted to run, run from someone that could hurt you all over again, someone that you weren’t even sure you could trust.
Or
You could try to hang onto one of the only things that you so desperately needed. You needed someone.
The blaster clanked to the ground as you walked to Cody. Your guard was up but the tears betrayed what you were really hoping for.
You hoped that Cody was himself again.
Cody looked up, your familiar eyes caught his own. The tears that he dried so many times fell across your cheeks, and he only wished to dry them one more time.
“I’m sorry.” He didn’t know what else to say, his mind left him and he could only mutter the only words that went through his head, as if they could make everything better.
You kneeled down with him. For a second Cody thought this might be a dream of his own and this was the moment that he would loose you once again.
But you stayed.
Quickly you wrapped your arms around his neck, pulling him flushed against you.
Cody wasted no time crushing you into him. You cling to him as he continued to whisper small apologies into your hair.
Through the muffled sniffles you voiced. “I liked your other armor kot’ika.”
For the first time in a while Cody found himself giving an actual laugh.
He nodded as he griped you even tighter as if he was afraid that if he let go you would leave.
“I think I could use some help painting it again.” He spoke a little louder. The emotions still sounded in his voice.
It was your turn to nod into his chest. For the first time in a while You found yourself crying tears of relief that finally someone was here for you again.
This time you weren’t going to let him go again.

Chaotic Mischief (A Star Wars Oneshot)
Tumblr media
Warning: Fluff, Clone Humor, little bit of flirting (tiny bit of Wolffe x Jedi Reader)  Words: 4.7k
The Build Up!
Mischief wasn't uncommon among clones, especially the Shinnies and the troopers whom had been freely allowed to become individuals. 79's during the downtime was where the ideas of mischief were thrown around. Sometimes they were as simple as pulling pranks on some poor unsuspecting soul. Other times it was far more risky, such as daring a Shinny to obtain the helmet of a superior. Something that was far harder to do than the troopers believed. Chaos was always sure to happen when the 501st were back on Coruscant, Fives and Echo were normally the ones behind it, although Jesse, Kix and Tup had also helped on occasions, Hardcase too when he wasn't too busy flirting with one of the many beautiful patrons.
:readmore:
On the odd occasion when Rex was reunited with Cody, Thorn, Gregor, Wolffe and Howzer, things could really get interesting. The last time the six were together, a game of truth or dare happened. To say there were more dares than truths being told, was the understatement. Cody had told so many stories about Obi-Wan, the others joked about him being the inaugural member of the Obi-Wan Fan club. Thorn had been tasked with getting a kiss from the most beautiful person at the bar, of course Thorn had fun with it, why just settle for one, when all of them were beautiful in there own way.
Gregor had stood up on the bar, doing a mini dance while stripping from his plastoid armor. All while Wolffe had generally questioned his own sanity and that of his brother. Gregor of course paid little mind to those he shared a booth with, instead reveling in the attention he got from those who enjoyed the show. Howzer on the other hand, decided to challenge almost all his clone brothers to an arm wrestling match. Even when he knew the odds weren't in his favor. Echo and Fives, making a wager. If Howzer lost against both of them. All six in the booth would have to go through with a particular dare, they had in mind to commit. Although neither gave details on what they had in mind. Without a second thought, the drunk Commanders and Captains had hastily agreed. Only to regret their decision mere seconds later when Howzer was swiftly defeated by both Arc Troopers. Although neither gave any indication on what they had in mind or when it would be put in to play.
They did however taunt Rex about it, over their rotations on the battlefield. Never failing to remind him of the wager and dropping subtle hints of what was to come. The moment they returned to Coruscant, and found out the remaining Commanders and Captains were also back for down time, was when Fives' famous wicked grin appeared upon his lips. Echo merely shaking his head, both with dread for the reactions and to control his overactive imagination. Even more so when he remembered the discussion to involve several Jedi in the fun and games as well.
"Put us out of misery" commented Cody, as he looked to the two Arc Troopers collectively referred to as the Domino Twins. A neon blue drink in hand as he prepared for the worst case scenario, knowing when it come to the pair, anything was possible. Even the impossible. Fives and Echo could only share an expression of pure mischief. Something that only brought more dread to the six before them.
"You've heard of helmet switch-a-roo, right?" asked Fives, knowing the question was daft. Especially since Rex dealt with that on the battlefield let alone during down times. The last game of switch-a-roo had also included an unwilling Dogma, whom had somehow ended up with Tup's helmet. Tup himself had Jesse's, whom in turn had Fives helmet. Five's had Echo's helmet, who had Kix's one. Even Hardcase had gotten involved and worn Dogma's helmet. Although Rex had caught on, it had taken General Skywalker a little longer to realize.
"We're daring you to the big brother. Armor Switch-A-Roo" laughed Echo, watching with amusement as the golden eyes of his brothers become flooded with concern, dread even on what they were going to be doing while wearing the armor of another. "And you'll be spending the day in each others off duty roles" quickly added the Arc Troopers, stifling a laugh when Wolffe's head hit the table, a loud groan escaping him. Of course it would be something like that. Yet the groan was in response to realizing some of them would be around the Jedi Temple and Senate, as well as the military base.
"If we die I'm haunting the two of you" commented Gregor, a spark of amusement flashing through his golden eyes. Even more so when he realized, whomever got his armor, would have the duty of protecting a certain favored Jedi. His iconic laugh soon escaped him, especially when he knew the odds of fooling Jedi were against them. They're own General's knew them well and would surely recognize something was off. Just as the many senators roaming the senate building would notice when something was off with Thorn.
"Do we at least get to choose who we switch with?" questioned Howzer, his head smacking against the sticky table mere moments later when both Fives and Echo had both shook their head. Denying them what would have made the game of Switch-A-Roo easier. Only now did Cody and Rex share a look of dread. Gregor once again laughed, this time nervously. Where as Thorn grabbed his bright blue drink and downed it, in an attempt to drown the horror threatening to bubble up.
"Care to deliver the blow and tell us" slurred Thorn, watching as the duo took the helmets from the back of the booth. Choose to switch the helmets instead of using words. Although the pair, planned to tell them again in the morning, when they were nursing a hangover, if only to remind them it wasn't a nightmare but the reality they had agreed to when making the wager.
Echo handled the helmets with care, looking closely at the individual markings. How each were different, and made them easily identifiable. Carefully he handed Wolffe, Gregor helmet, the obvious choice, as Gregor was the only one Wolffe could realistically pass as. Gregor on the other hand was given Thorn's helmet, confusion soon washed over his tired features. He'd wrongly assumed he'd receive's Wolffe's helmet in response, so was surprise to get the one belonging the Coruscant Guard.
Rex had been the one to be receive Wolffe's helmet. A chuckle had instantly ripped from his throat, even more so when it would be obvious he wasn't the tough battle worn Commander. Cody had been given Rex's helmet, to which an instant wicked grin appeared on his lips, it being clear he knew what chaos he'd cause while dressed as his old friend and brother. Something that only brought gripping dread to Rex. Thorn on the other hand received Howzer's helmet, swearing under his breath, as it would mean he'd be in close proximity to many Jedi General's, a thought that brought both dread and of course amusement, would they take notice of the little things. Howzer on the other hand, quickly determined the only helmet left was Cody's, to which he cheered, clearly his silent prayers to the maker had been answered.
"Remember whatever chaos you cause while wearing the others armor, has to be explained by said owner" casually spoke Fives, confirming the Jedi would be none the wiser of the mischievous antics, and would thrust ask about the odd inconsistencies should they be noticed. "Wolffe we wish you luck. Gregor is on protection duty for (Y/N) tomorrow" laughed the Arc Trooper, his laughter only growing upon hearing the growled yet muffled response. Of course they'd thrown him head first at (Y/N), he be an idiot if he thought they'd let the opportunity pass them by. After all his affection for the Jedi Knight was only known by those sharing the booth and a few others. It was a closely guarded secret Wolffe had unintentionally let slip during the last game of Truth or Dare.
The Morning Of!
When morning come, each of those apart of the mischief groaned. Wolffe in particular found himself with confusion. Why did he have Gregor's Commando armor? Where was his own?. He soon noticed the little light in the top corner of his datapad blinking, sighing as he carefully placed Gregor's helmet to the side and grabbing the small device. Instantly regretting the decision upon seeing a video message from Fives there.
"So that wasn't a nightmare" commented Wolffe, throwing the pad on his bunk before once again reaching for Gregor's helmet. Carefully studying it, the many markings scattered all over it, even a few scorch marks, the fading yellow paint around the visor, even the bright blue light to appear, when held in a certain way. The battle worn commander, taking notice of how heavy the helmet felt compared to his own, even the roughness beneath his fingers.
"How the kriff does Thorn see in this thing" voiced Gregor, walking into the nearby desk, as he flicked at the black painted shade over the top of the visor. The commando's words pulling a rare chuckle from Wolffe. The commander amused by Gregor holding his arms out in an effort to gain stability while wearing the foreign helmet, and making his way over to the spare bunk without tripping or bumping into anything else. "I saw Rex, poor bugger, looks ridiculous wearing your armor" joked the Commando, taking off Thorn's helmet just in time to witness Wolffe display his signature eye roll. "It kind of looks like Rex shrunk in the dryer" laughed Gregor, receiving another chuckle from Wolffe, clearly the battle worn commander could imagine it.
"Makes you wonder what the others are going to be like?" questioned Wolffe, suspecting the others would probably have a better fit, especially Cody, whom had Rex's armor. Howzer too could probably get by without much trouble with Cody's armor. "I'm expecting Thorn to complain about not having a kama" added the commander of the wolf pack, recalling Thorn asking the night before how Cody, Howzer and Gregor could operate without one. Even pointing out both Arc Troopers to issue the daring mischief were in ownership of one.
"Oh he's already started. Stated he felt naked without one" laughed Gregor. As if on cue, Thorn walked passed, stating he already missed not wearing the belted cape, even how lost he was without it. His next words were asking Gregor to take care of his precious kama while impersonating him for the day.
Cody, Rex and Howzer soon appeared behind Thorn, all but scaring him into the small room completely. Gregor's laughter ringing out as Wolffe also offered a chuckle, but that was more to see Rex practically drowning in his armor. Gone was the dark blue markings, instead he donned the familiar grey wolf insignia. It was odd for Wolffe to see his armor on another, although he soon reminded himself it was only for a few hours, then all would be back to normal again.
"I feel like a kid wearing their parent's clothes" admitted Rex, once again re-adjusting one of the shoulder plates, carefully placing Wolffe's helmet on the desk.
"You look like a kid wearing their parents clothes" commented Wolffe, amusement flashing in both his golden eye and dull cybernetic one. Thorn chuckling breaking the silence quickly, as Cody mentioned he wanted to take a picture to remember this.
"Don't forget we have to think of something to say if we're caught" reminded Howzer, shuddering to think that was a possibility. At the same time he knew the risks were high, some of them were around observant senators, others around the Jedi, whom could likely sense when something was amiss. "And to explain everything tomorrow"
"Already got mine" announced Thorn, chuckling although not elaborating any further. Wolffe piped up mere seconds later confirming he too had something in mind for explaining everything the following day, although even he'd admit explaining why his armor didn't have its normal snug fit was going to be a little more difficult. Cody also hinted he had something in mind, as did Rex whom could already predict what Cody was going to get up to.
"Have fun flirting with (Y/N), Wolffe" remarked Cody, only receiving a huffed growl from the commander in question. It being clear he regretted revealing that secret, even more so when his brothers so often teased him about it. Even General Plo did although he did so in an encouraging way, almost as if he knew something others didn't. "Why does (Y/N) need protecting anyways, she's a bad-ass Jedi Knight" asked the commander of the 212th, finding it odd a Jedi with (Y/N)'s reputation would need protection.
"Targeted by Dooku and some separatist leaders. Her cover was blown the last time she went on an assignment to protect Senator Amidala" explained Gregor, revealing the truth few knew of. "(Y/N) and Senator Amidala could pass as sisters, hence why (Y/N) had posed as her during a previous assignment. Sadly it had gone wrong, resulting in a bounty being placed on the Jedi Knight, hence her designated temple and senate duty" added the Commando, recalling (Y/N) being frustrated the last time he'd been on protection duty, she wanted to do more to help the Republic but was restricted on what she could do.
"Alright boys, lets get this show on the road" voiced Fives from the door way. Echo leaning against the opposite side. Rex immediately noticing they'd swapped helmets again. Both Arc Troopers breaking down in laughter upon looking around the group. Thorn's grumpiness about not having a kama, Gregor practically being squished into Thorn's armor. Rex's almost drowning in Wolffe's, Cody attempting to straighten Rex's kama, while Wolffe shifted uncomfortably in Gregor's armor. Howzer on the other hand, seemed content on messing with the visor shade on Cody's helmet, almost as if he was trying to re-adjust it a little.
The Mischief!
"Anakin, I think there might be something wrong with Rex" spoke Obi-Wan upon reaching his former padawan, concern ringing in his voice. At first the Jedi Knight looked confused, Rex wasn't anywhere in sight. Just as Anakin was about to voice the obvious, Rex appeared, running along and practically hugging Obi-Wan as if he was the alternative to gravity. Ahsoka chuckled slightly, quickly whipping her hands up to stifle her amusement.
"Seems normal to me, maybe a little more caf than usual" announced Anakin, chuckling as Obi-Wan raised an eyebrow in suspicion. The Jedi master untangling himself from Rex, recalling the time he'd had to do the same with Cody weeks before hand. The moment Obi-Wan walked away, Rex got his datapad out and chased after Obi-Wan, asking him for an autograph. Leaving behind a slightly confused Anakin and Ahsoka in a fit of laughter. Plo Koon chuckling to see it, although he didn't voice he had long since worked out what was going on, instead choosing to allow the mischief to continue.
"Master Plo" called Ahsoka, upon controlling her fit of giggles and regaining some composure. "Are any other clones acting oddly?" asked the Padawan, recalling seeing Commander Wolffe wrangling the 501st boys earlier, she'd never seen them behave so quickly, although Fives, Echo, Jesse, Tup and Kix seemed to be the exception, giggling like school children in the corner of the mess hall.
"Howzer seemed to be fond of causing confusion and chaos in the debriefing earlier" commented Plo, recalling the Captain had been hyperactive, almost skipping around the room. WIndu had practically grabbed his shoulders and all but forced him to stand still, not that it worked, within seconds Howzer was moving around again, twirling on the spot and practically bouncing off the walls. He'd started singing at one point.
"Rex, Howzer. Who's next?" questioned Anakin, almost dreading the response he'd get. "Maybe they switched the caf brand again. Rex always did say the last one tasted like droid oil" commented the Jedi Knight in hopes of explaining everything. Although if there was more than the two it would be harder to explain it.
"What's your reasoning for Wolffe deflating?" asked Ahsoka, seeing the confusion to pass over Anakin's features. Plo on the other hand chuckling slightly, refusing to give it away he'd worked out what was going on, instead he'd found himself with curiosity whom else was involved and the explanations each come up with. Particularly Howzer whom had to explain the debriefing.
"Looks like Thorn's having a good day" commented Padme, upon joining the group of Jedi down on the many halls. She'd come at the request of master Yoda, although it appeared to be a troublesome time. She'd passed many padawan's and younglings seemingly lost and confused about where they were going. Just as she'd bared witness to Howzer running away from Windu after tapping him on the shoulder and shouting "Tag your it".
Within seconds of the words leaving Padme's lips, Commander Thorn come waltzing down the hall, signing loudly and occasionally twerking. He'd thrown his hands up several times, the contents of the mug with Fox's name penned on long since gone everywhere. A few padawan's had been pulled into a dance, as a few masters had too. Each seemingly taken by surprise. "He was like that at the senate building as well. Flirted with senator Chuchi" laughed the Senator of Naboo. A smile on her lips to see the battle worn troopers seemingly having fun, a rare but welcome sight.
"Let me love you" called Rex, as Obi-Wan ran back down the long hall. The captain hot on his heels. Ahsoka once again bursting in to fit of giggles, as a few other younglings did too. Some of the masters looked confused as to what was going on, most shaking their heads with a little amusement before continuing. Even (Y/N) couldn't help the laughter to escape her, she'd always had a love for mischief.
"Your not going to do anything out of the ordinary are you, Gregor?" asked Obi-Wan when he stopped to catch his breath, hiding near one of the large windows overlooking the courtyard below. "I don't think I can take any more oddities today. First Cody's memory loss, now Rex" added the Jedi Master, still trying to wrap his head around Cody's apparent memory loss. Maybe it was the hit to the head during the prior battle, or the alcohol from the night before. Either way it was unsettling, although his loyal commander seemed to have some whereabouts. Keeping the boys of the 212th in line.
"No sir" responded Gregor, his response coming a little too quickly. "Just doing my duty protecting the Princess Jedi here" added Gregor attempting to act normally, although he knew some of his actions could be explained away by lasting damage from previous head injuries. Obi-Wan soon poked his head around the corner again, quickly dodging back when Rex passed by asking those around if they'd seen the negotiator. Dread filled Obi-Wan when another Jedi Master pointed right at him, causing him to dart from his position and around the nearest corner.
Howzer coming around the same corner moments later, shortly followed by a confused Mace Windu. Padme shaking her head slightly, as she regained some of her lost composure. Never had she seen the temple in such disarray, although she would admit it was nice seeing a less professional side of the peacekeepers. Howzer's voice soon rang out through the hall as another comment escaped him. "Gonna catch me?" His comment more of a question towards the Jedi Master behind him.
"Thorn, where's my mug" yelled Fox, storming down the hall towards the other commander. Thorn had since stopped singing and dancing, instead acting scared as he held up the ordinary white coffee mug. Although Fox's name had since been crossed out, being replaced with Thorn's own name. Thorn soon skipped off down the hall, giggling like a school girl as he all but taunted Fox with the ordinary white mug. Ignoring Fox yelling at him to come back and all but swearing about losing the mug again.
"And that's my cue" commented Gregor before throwing (Y/N) over his shoulder and walking off. Plo chuckling by the shock squeal to escape the Jedi Knight. Where as Padme and Ahsoka resorting to looking to each other for confirmation, at least to ensure they'd both seen Gregor pick up and all but run off with (Y/N). Anakin on the other hand blinked a few times, beginning to question his own sanity and that of the troopers around him. Slowly he was becoming suspicious, who else was going to act like they'd been hypnotized to act like kids, were his Jedi brethren going to start acting like it too?
"Pretty good view of chaos from up here" commented (Y/N), as she attempted to get comfortable over Gregor's shoulder. Well over Wolffe's shoulder. Although she hadn't voiced it, she was well aware Wolffe was in Gregor's armor, her senses not failing her. The arm securing her legs in place, only tightening as she attempted to wiggle around to gain comfort.
"Not a bad view from this end either" commented Gregor, finding himself glad for the thick armor, as he was sure he would have felt (Y/N)'s foot, thud against his thigh had he not be clad in plastoid.
"If I didn't know any better Captain. I would have thought you were flirting" spoke (Y/N)
"If I didn't know any better I would say you were enjoying it" responded Gregor, placing her back on her feet upon reaching the destination of the courtyard. The rare occasion where it was quiet and as normal tranquil.
"Should I ask why you brought me here?" asked (Y/N), moving to tidying her messed up hair, and straighten out her robes. Gregor on the other hand moved to sit on the steps, in front of the tree, ignoring the benches close by.
"Meditate" retorted Gregor, not bothering to turn around to face her. Although he suspected there would be a response shortly.
"Is that an order?" commented (Y/N), moving to sit at his side.
"Yup"
"I'm known to bend orders" laughed (Y/N), knowing there was truth behind her words. Although her former Jedi Master Plo Koon, always said she had a talent for still getting the job demanded from her done. She still got the needed results even if she did go about it a little differently.
"This will be the first you'll obey" replied Gregor, a playful tone to his voice.
"What makes you think that?" whispered (Y/N) when she was close enough, there was no doubt he'd hear her.
"Cause I asked nicely Princess" breathed Gregor. Almost surprised when the almost famous Jedi Knight seemed to concede and do as she was told, the words Roger Roger escaping her in a sarcastic tone. "Care to accompany me to 79's tonight?"
"Maybe" cheekily responded (Y/N). "Would be nice to see you in your own armor and without said helmet" commented the Jedi Knight, a grin appearing across her lips as she peered over. Seeing as Wolffe stiffened inside Gregor's armor. "Not to worry Commander, my lips are sealed"
"Have to work on that later" flirted Wolffe, as he settled back into the act of being Gregor, imitating his brother's famous laugh mere seconds later. Once again (Y/N) peered over to him, suppressing a chuckle as she attempted to regain her focus. Although it seemed to be a lost course at this point.
The Aftermath
When it come to explain the events of the day before. Some found it far easier than others. Thorn had simply explained it away as having too much caf that morning. He been hyperactive and in the mood to continue his running war with Fox for the prize coffee mug. He explained the flirting with Senator Riyo Chuchi as finding her particularly beautiful the day before.
Wolffe had simply said he'd lost a wager to Rex and had thrust agreed to keep the boys of the 501st in check. As for his armor not fitting properly, he mentioned something about Wrecker playing a prank on him, payback for something to have taken place at 79's before the last deployment.
Cody too had a simple explanation. He'd mentioned he'd visited the medbay upon returning to Coruscant after the last rotation on the battlefield. The headache combined with the hangover of all hangovers. He'd managed to keep the boys in check but his memory was spotty. Thankfully Obi-wan had brought the excuse and let it go after a few days of ensuring he had no after effects from the injury.
Rex on the other hand, almost chocked on his morning caf to learn what Cody had gotten up to in his armor. Although he'd been thankful for his explanation fitting with what had taken place. He'd simply said he'd joined the Obi-Wan fan club, after hearing Cody endless go on and on about how great the Jedi Master was. Cody had attempted to hide behind his datapad, covering his heated cheeks of embarrassment. Of course Rex would say that.
Gregor on the other hand struggled to come up with something when faced with explaining Wolffe's actions to (Y/N). He tripped over his words multiple times before the Jedi Knight had put him out of his misery. Revealing her knowledge of the mischievous dare each had taken part in and thrust knew Wolffe had been her protect the day prior. (Y/N) had spent time reassure Gregor following it, even helping him to come up with something should another Jedi question him.
Howzer almost had a heart attack upon finding out what Thorn had done the day before. He'd almost throttled the Commander to have impersonated him. No flimsy excuse was going to get passed Windu on this one. Nor the other Jedi to have been apart of the briefing. Eventually Howzer settled for being influenced by Rex, Thorn and Gregor, as well as having too much caf that morning. Sending the younglings in the wrong direction had been put down to a light hearted joke, after all everyone knew Howzer had a soft spot for kids.
Echo and Fives on the other hand managed to get hold of the records from the Senate building, Jedi Temple and Military base. Laughing to no end, especially seeing how Gregor had also played silly sods with the civvi medics and admirals while impersonating Thorn. No one had been safe from the chaos Gregor had caused. The recordings of Thorn impersonating Howzer throughout the Jedi Temple were just as funny, especially when Kix pointed out some of the younglings and padawan's had also played along with the game of tag.
Jesse's favorite recording had been of Cody impersonating Rex yelling "Let me love you" while chasing Obi-Wan down the hall. Seeing an array of emotions pass over Anakin's features had brought him to tears with laughter. The blank look, turning to confusion, questioning his own sanity, slight amusement, back to questioning his own sanity then finally settling on enjoying the chaos.
Kix had been the one to point out, both Plo Koon and (Y/N) had likely figured it out but had opted to keep the truth a well guarded. Something Wolffe later confirmed at 79's, (Y/N) also verifying it in her own words, just as she revealed Aalya Secura and Ahsoka had also worked out something was up, but not said anything. Instead both women happy to watch as chaos unfolded. (Y/N) also corroborating to both Echo and Fives, neither Obi-Wan or Anakin were none the wiser about the mischief to test them, just as the unsuspecting victim of Mace Windu had yet to truly put the pieces to together. Even Master Yoda seemed to be content on keeping the truth a guarded secret for now.
Tup had asked for the security recordings, intending on making a few videos of the chaos and sending them to the six to have taken part. He'd also congratulated Fives and Echo on masterminding the whole thing. The duo known as the Domino Twins cementing themselves as the most mischievous pair, thrust finally achieving their goal of overtaking Waxer and Boil. Although both knew the pair from the 212th Legion would eventually fire back in an effort to regain their lost titles.

Written for Fictober 2023!
Fandom: Star Wars
Day 31 Prompt: "It's not your fault."
Summary: Obi-Wan and his best friend/fellow Jedi are getting Hondo's help on a mission. Predictably, things don't go according to their plan.
Word Count: 2,045
Category: Fluff, Humor
A/N: That's a wrap for Fictober gang! Thank you so much to @fictober-event for putting this whole thing on and to everyone who's read one of my stories! Honestly can't believe the amount of writing I got done for this event
Putting work into an AI program without permission is illegal. You do not have my permission. Do not do it.
"I think this might be the worst idea we've ever had."
"If you don't count ideas that Anakin came up with and we agreed to, then yes, it probably is."
Obi-Wan Kenobi and I stood shoulder to shoulder on the ramp of our ship, waving as the one and only Hondo Ohnaka came towards us. We'd recently gotten information that the Separatists were using a different group of pirates to smuggle things out of reach of the Republic, and together, Obi-Wan and I had decided the best way to infiltrate a pirate base was with the help of another pirate. On paper, it sounded perfectly rational, especially since we had a pirate contact we could go to. In reality, it was probably going to get us killed.
"Kenobi!" called Hondo once he got within earshot of us. "It is wonderful to see you again! And who is your lovely friend? A girlfriend, perhaps?"
Heat and embarrassment rushed through me, and I felt a wave of discomfort coming off of Obi-Wan in the Force too.
"Jedi don't typically date," he quickly explained, waving Hondo off. "And it wouldn't be any of your business anyway."
"I'm a friend of Obi-Wan's," I continued. "We grew up at the Temple together."
Hondo gave me a quick once over, then evaluated Obi-Wan the same way. Then, he smiled and held out his hand to me.
"Well, any friend of Obi-Wan's is a friend of mine! It is very nice to meet you, I'm sure!"
I forced a smile as I took his hand and shook it. I didn't think he'd meant to, but Honda had hit a very sore spot for me. I'd harbored feelings for my best friend for years now, against the Code, and I'd done my best every single day to hide them from him and from anyone else. A hundred Jedi who'd known me since birth couldn't tell, but this Weequay had hit the bullseye within moments of seeing me for the first time.
"Come on," Obi-Wan whispered to me, leaning in close to my ear so Hondo couldn't hear him as the Weequay moved past me into the ship. "The sooner we start this mission, the sooner it's officially over."
"Can't wait," I muttered. "And you said this guy was your friend?"
Obi-Wan shrugged. "More like... acquaintance who tries to kill me sometimes. Although I think he unironically considers me his best friend."
I smiled a little at that, especially as Obi-Wan moved into the ship after Hondo and Hondo immediately flung an arm around his shoulders and pulled him in. Based on the conversation I could hear as I brought in the ramp, Hondo was trying to convince Obi-Wan to sell him some of our Republic tech at a frankly ridiculous price. To no one's surprise (except maybe Hondo's), Obi didn't budge. He was remarkably gentle in his refusal, though.
After a brief challenge where Hondo insisted on piloting the ship and Obi-Wan had to convince him to sit in the passenger seat instead, we were on our way. With Hondo's help, we quickly found the pirate base we were looking for.
"Do you guys just constantly share locations with each other?" I asked as we came in for a landing not too far from the gates. Hondo shrugged.
"We do business with each other from time to time. Helps to know where your business partners are."
"Hm. Makes sense."
Hondo grinned at me. He clapped me on the shoulder and started walking down the ramp, and a moment later Obi-Wan took his place next to me.
"Don't turn your back on him," he warned. I turned, coming face to face with Obi-Wan. We'd known each other for most of our lives; I'd seen him a million times or more. But for this mission, we weren't in the typical Jedi robes, in an effort to go undercover. And seeing him standing next to me in a dashing pirate costume made my heart beat a little faster.
"Don't worry, I wasn't planning on it." Obi-Wan stared off after Hondo, his expression clouded, so I reached out and gently squeezed his shoulder. "We'll be fine, okay? We've survived everything we've gone through so far. What's a couple pirates?"
"The last time I interacted with pirates, Anakin and I ended up handcuffed to Count Dooku."
I laughed as we started strolling down the ramp together to catch up to Hondo.
"Well, if we find ourselves in a similar situation, I promise to make fun of Dooku even more than Anakin did with you."
"That, I would look forward to seeing." He sighed, nudging my shoulder with his just before we caught up to Hondo. "I suppose there's nothing left for us to do but dive straight in."
"Like you said. Sooner we start, sooner we get to go back to Cody and other, saner partners in crime."
"The fact that Anakin is significantly more rational and predictable than Hondo is... concerning."
I chuckled, and Obi-Wan and I shared a smile. Hondo clapped us both on the shoulders once we'd caught up with him at the door to the pirate's fort, and then we headed inside.
The next thing I remember, I was waking up on a concrete floor, my head pounding. I groaned, lifting one hand to my head, and to my surprise something dragged my other hand with it. I opened my eyes.
I was handcuffed. More than that, I was apparently handcuffed to someone else. I turned to my right to see Obi-Wan, already sitting up and looking at me.
"Good morning."
"What happened?"
"We were played." I sighed and flung my head back. All that talk about having each others' backs and not trusting Hondo, and it had been for nothing. "We were jumped as soon as we made it through the gates. Hondo turned us over and went to collect a bounty for us from the other pirates."
"Oh wonderful," I sighed, slumping back against Obi-Wan. My heart sped up a little bit at our close proximity, but unlike every other time we'd been close, this time I couldn't chicken out. It was lean against him, or very clearly, obviously, and uncomfortably lean away from him.
"I should've known we couldn't trust him," Obi-Wan said. "I just thought that this time we were prepared, so Hondo wouldn't be able to get one over on us. I should've known better."
"It's not your fault. Even I'd started to believe Hondo was honestly going to work with us for this mission. The fact that he'd already double-crossed us, before we even got on the ship..."
I trailed off, shaking my head. Obi-Wan sighed, and we spent a few moments leaning against the wall and each other, hands close together and heads resting against each other. I could've stayed like that for a long time, if we hadn't been sitting in a jail cell.
"So..." I finally started, still not moving an inch. "What did you do the last time you were in this situation?"
Obi-Wan sighed heavily. "Bickered with the Count, mostly. And made a few escape attempts. We would've been successful from the beginning had it not been for Dooku."
I huffed a small laugh. "Well, it's a good thing I'm here instead of him then, isn't it?"
"I truthfully can't think of anyone else I'd rather be stuck with."
We shared a smile, a warm feeling quickly dominating my chest. I couldn't quite stop myself from leaning forward ever so slightly, like Obi-Wan had his own gravity pulling me in. In this place, out of sight and temporarily forgotten by everyone else, being close to him didn't feel as scary as it did in the Temple or aboard the Negotiator.
To my immense surprise and delight, Obi-Wan leaned in too, a moment after me. He huffed a small laugh, his blue eyes sparkling.
"This is... probably a bad idea."
I didn't need to ask what he was talking about. I gave him a small smile and shrugged.
"No worse an idea than the one that got us in here in the first place."
"You certainly make a good point."
As one, we smiled and closed the remaining distance to each other, our lips meeting in a kiss I'd thought about a thousand times. It was even better than I'd imagined it would be, especially as I could feel Obi-Wan through the Force. My best friend, the man I'd loved a thousand different ways before I even really knew what the word meant, glowed with a happiness that matched mine.
No one had ever really found evidence that soulmates were real, despite all the mystical forces that did exist in the galaxy. But as I sat on the filthy floor of that cell and kissed my best friend, our energies twining together in the Force, I thought we'd come pretty close.
"Oh, this is very gross. And yet, it's exactly what I'd hoped to find."
Obi-Wan and I broke apart to find Hondo staring at us through the bars of the cell, a grin on his face. We fixed him with matching scowls.
"Come now, what are those looks for? You should be happy, look at the two of you!"
"Happy might be a stretch, since you double-crossed us," I said. Hondo's mouth dropped open and a hand flew to his chest.
"Double-crossed? No no no, I have done no such thing."
"Then why did we wake up handcuffed in a cell?" Obi-Wan demanded. "In my case, again."
"Ah, you see, it was all part of my brilliant plan!"
Obi-Wan and I shared a very, very skeptical look. Undeterred, Hondo pulled a ring of keys out of his pocket, still beaming at us.
"You thought the two of you, two Jedi, could actually sneak in here unnoticed? Ha! It never would have worked. So, I pretended to double-cross you, and while the two of you were in here admitting feelings for each other, I found your documents! After collecting the credits for turning you two over as prisoners, of course."
Obi-Wan and I stared, dumbfounded, as Hondo explained his plan and removed our handcuffs. We stood, helping each other up, both a little stunned that the Weequay had really outplayed everyone here.
"Come on, we must hurry," said Hondo, waving us after him as he headed for the cell door. "It won't take them long to figure out what we've done."
We spared one last shocked glance at each other, then hurried after Hondo through the winding halls of the pirates' lair.
"If you got your money and information, why did you come back for us?" asked Obi-Wan, suspicion dripping from his words. "Why not leave us to be cashed in for a bounty?"
I wanted to smack him for asking that question before we were safely back on our ship, but Hondo just turned to us, looking hurt and outraged that Obi-Wan would even suggest it.
"Kenobi, I am hurt! I would never do such a thing to such a good friend!" He turned, ignoring Obi's raised eyebrow as we at last made it out of the hideout. "Besides, there were no more credits to be gained by leaving you here. The only thing that would've happened was a profit for my competition."
I failed to fight off a smile. Now it all made sense.
Obi-Wan and I trailed just behind Hondo the last bit of distance to our ship, and cautiously, I slipped my hand into his. He gave it a gentle squeeze, turning to fix me with a small smile.
"You know this is going to complicate our lives beyond belief, don't you?"
"Yeah. But I think it's worth it. Our lives are already wildly complicated anyway."
Obi-Wan huffed a small laugh. "I agree."
"With which part?"
"All of it. But especially the part about this being worth it."
He gave my hand one last squeeze, and we shared another tender look before reaching the ramp of the ship and returning to business mode. I let Obi-Wan lead the way, and as I closed the ramp, I could already hear Hondo bargaining with Obi-Wan for credits in exchange for the information he'd retrieved while we'd been in the cell. Despite the exasperation on Obi-Wan's face and in his tone, I could still feel that glowing happiness radiating off of him in the Force, a mirror to my own. We were going to be just fine.

Please help me find a fic!
It's a set of headcanons about how the clones would act around a flirty jedi reader. There were some headcanons about the bad batch in there too, what the other jedi would think of the reader, and some general stuff about the 501st, 212th, 104th, coruscant guard, etc. The only defining trait I remember from the whole post is there's a gif at the top which I'm pretty sure shows Wolffe with his helmet on - other than that I can't remember who wrote it or what the title is. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Pairing(s): Commander Cody x gn! reader
Tags/warnings: Jedi! reader, taunting, dom! reader, fluff
Word count: 1.1k
Tumblr media
Being a commander in the war could be tough at times, but as a co-commander, some of the weight was lifted from your shoulders. You aided in Commander Cody's role in the war, except, it didn't feel like that at times.
Whenever you would attempt to give mission reports or orders to the men, Cody would talk over you and do it himself. It's not like you went to your master, Obi-Wan, and complained about it to him, as he thought you to be as childish as Anakin was. Complaining would only make it worse.
So one day, you decided to confront the clone about it. You'd finished with a briefing and were ready annoy him once you got him alone. "Cody, I need to talk to you, now."
Complying with your need, he went off to the side with you to have a private conversation. "What seems to be the problem, commander?"
Your crossed your arms and glared at him like your life depended on it. "Oh, we're going to play that game?"
Cody shrugged just before removing his helmet. "What game—"
"You need to stop talking over me at every briefing and mission report." You snapped. "I've put up with it for way too long and now I'm sick of you treating me the way you do."
"Listen kid." He rolled his eyes. "I wasn't bred in a lab only to share my position with someone. The men listen to me more than they do, you."
"First off, I'm chronologically like five years older than you." You crossed you arms. "So watch who you're calling a kid."
"Excuse me?" He looked at you in shock.
You hid your forming smirk and stepped closer to him, grabbing his chin with your thumb and index finger, forcing his eyes to meet with yours. "You heard me Cody, don't call me a kid anymore, and don't treat me like one. After all, I'm sure that my master wouldn't like to hear about this. Understood?"
"Y-Yes."
"Yes what?"
"Yes... commander." He lowered his voice.
Finally, you released the clone from your grip and turned your back on him. "You know Cody, you don't always have to be in control."
"Wait." He grabbed your wrist, stopping you from walking away. "What was that?"
"What was what?"
"The chin thing."
"You mean this?" You grabbed his chin once more and raised one of your eyebrows. "I uh... I dunno." A blush rose to your cheeks, his eyes locking with yours. "But.. I have to go, I-I'll see you around Cody." With that, you spun around and left the room in a record time. The clone now stared at the exit in which you had left, starstruck.
~
The next few days had been awkward between you and him. Master Kenobi did take note of that, but decided not to ask about it, as he had far more important things to worry about. Cody had improved in sharing the commanding spotlight with you, and sometimes, he'd just let you take control of everything.
But that was no fun. You began to miss the small arguments with your fellow commander.
Why?
Because that was an excuse to spend more time talking to him. Recently you had been so lost in your thoughts, that you hadn't been able to tell that he felt the same way too, only, he had it worse. The way that you had grabbed his chin and forced him to look at you had only made his desires grow. He was the one in control, and he wanted you to know that, but why had he given in to your demands? Why did he feel vulnerable whenever he caught your gaze from across the room, when he was just standing next to you?
Why did his heart do a flip whenever you talked to him?
As Cody tried to think of the answers to these questions, he subconsciously began walking to your quarters. Now he stood in front of your door in confusion, thinking about what he planned on saying. Once he finally gathered up the courage, he removed his helmet and knocked on your door.
When you opened it, your lips parted and then quickly closed, your eyes shifting down to the helmet tucked between his arm and hip.
"Can I talk to you?" He asked in such a soft tone, a tone that you'd never heard from him before. "Of course, come on in." You moved to the side. He stepped inside and awkwardly waited for you to close the door. You then went to sit on your bed, where you crossed one of your arms and began to pick at the dirt underneath your fingernails. "What's up Cody?"
"Sir- Commander-I mean..." he looked anywhere but at you, his eyes finally resting on your lightsaber which laid on your desk. "I-" he choked on his words, guilt suddenly washing over him. "I actually have to go."
"Sit down." You patted the empty spot besides you. Not wanting to disobey you, he did as told. "What's wrong Cody?" You hesitantly placed a hand on his shoulder in hope that he would relax. Instead, Cody nervously began to tap his fingers against his helmet and bounced his knee. "I..." he croaked. "I can't stop... thinking about you."
You could've sworn to the maker that you heart stopped beating. Slowly, you looked at Cody, trying to make sure you heard that right. "Y-you can't stop thinking about me?— I can't stop thinking about you."
His eyes instantly locked with yours, head shaking in disbelief. "Why? I'm... just a clone. I'm nothing special—"
"Don't say that." You hesitantly reached a hand towards his cheek. "You're special to me. You're important to me, Cody. You get on my nerves sometimes, but I still... I still like you."
The side of his face nuzzled into your touch, almost as if he were melting under the warmth of your hand. Your thumb grazed against the bottom of the jagged scar that curved around his eye, a frown on your face. "Why do you think that?"
Cody slowly leaned in closer to you, breath shallow. "I share the exact DNA with millions of men."
"But you're not all the same." You began to lean in too. "You're a commander, a leader... you take care of your men, you take care of my master and I... don't ever let anyone tell you that you're the exact same as every other clone— you're in control of the person you want to be, Cody."
You were right. He was in control of the person he wanted to be, of the decisions he made. He was in control of the question the spilled from his dried and chapped lips. "Can I kiss you, commander?"
"You may, commander."
And your lips met with one another's, molding perfectly together.
From now on, it would be the two of you in control of your future together.

It’s easy if you’d do it right
Commander Cody x Jedi Reader
Summary: Commander Cody notices that the Jedi Reader has problems with shooting with a blaster and insists on teaching…but it takes a turn he didn’t see coming.
Word count: 1259
Warnings: feelings, fluff, mentions of war, use of Y/N, fmc, mentions of loss, intimate moment, (a bit) cuteness, lots of sexual tension, mocking Commander Cody, use of blasters and teaching, open end but there could possibly be a part 2
A/N: I don’t know how I wrote this, but I like how it came out. Let me know what you think and if you’d like a part 2. Enjoy.
Tumblr media
„Kriff, it’s impossible to shoot with that thing“, I mumbled under my breath. When I was out with Fives and Echo from the 501st Battalion a while ago, we made a bet. They battled me that I wasn’t able to shoot with one of their blasters and, confident as I was, I said I could easily shoot as good as them, maybe even better. They just laughed at me and now I understood why. Why they learned how to use it within such a young age. Shooting with that thing was kriffing difficult. This really wasn’t quite as easy as it looked like. But they shot the clankers with such elegance that one could quickly imagine that you’d do just as well.
That’s how I ended up in the trainings room on the cruiser. At midnight. Trying to shoot in the middle of my target, but failing miserably. Turns out watching someone doing it and copying it wasn’t able for everything. Especially not with one of these blasters.
The bright light were slowly getting on my nerves while the white walls and the targets seemed to laugh at me. I would do the same if I were an outsider watching me. I never failed that much in my life before.
“Maybe I hold it wrong“, I mumbled to myself. Scanning the DC-15A with my eyes up and done. The black color shining bright. It was a new one I bought.
“You hold it wrong”, someone behind me agreed. I turned around blaster pointed at the person. The Commander just holding his hands up in defence. “I’m not here to criticise you, General.” A slight grin could be seen on my opposite. A grin I knew all to well, because I did everything to be able to see it.
“It’s you.” Cody. The last man in the galaxy I wanted to see me fail. The force was hilarious as always.
I took my weapon down and turned back around to the targets. It was embarrassing that he saw me how I failed doing such an easy task he did daily and with a confidence only he had. A confidence I always admired.
“You need help with that?” He asked as I sensed that he moved closer. Almost standing directly behind me. Almost touching my body. I felt his breath in my neck and a shiver ran down my spine. Kriff Cody.
“Yeah, I’m trying since an eternity, but I’m not able to do it right. It’s so confusing.” The frustration in me was clear to hear. Also to Cody who chuckled.
“Here, let me just.” The next second I felt his hands correcting my stand. Cody’s practiced hands went from my hips to my legs and shoulders, before he rested one of them on my waist. A tingling feeling was everywhere left where his hands had brushed me.
He gently squeezed my waist while his thumb was caressing it with slow circles. My breath hitched and my head went blank. Not one thought left. All I could sense was Cody. His hands on me. How he touched me and how he could possible touch me. But he wouldn’t cross the line? Would he?
“Now, eyes on the target”, his voice sounded raspy and was closer to my ear than I’ve ever imagined it to be. I felt his breath on my ear and it spread goosebumps all over me. It was hard to get back to reality while he was so close to me. Touching me. I slowly lifted my hands with the blaster in them, but it took more strength than something normally needed.
“Try to focus.” Cody reminded and his breath tingled. He would be the death of me. How should I focus when he was so close to me? Did things that weren’t allowed? Or was this allowed? But also why did I feel that way when I knew these feelings were forbidden? I knew that I liked him more than I should. I formed an attachment to him, but not just an attachment. I developed feelings within deep under my gut.
His hands switched places the one before around my waist now on my hand and the other one found it’s way around my waist. He corrected how I lifted the blaster, before he held onto my hand. His bigger hand covering mine. Holding it to keep me steady.
“Now you’re ready to shoot. Do it.”
Usually I was in charge, cause I was, besides Master Kenobi, one of his Generals. But somehow his command did something to me I couldn’t imagine. And I was sure that he knew. Cody knew that my stomach flipped in the best way possible. And that time it wasn’t because of his hands on me.
The next second I pulled the trigger and the blaster shot went on the target. Hitting perfectly in the middle. I knew that was Cody’s doing. Even with a burden like me he could shoot as perfect as always.
“Good job, Mesh’la.” I heard him breathe while squeezing my waist again. Hand wandering slowly deeper. I suppressed a moan which wanted to come from my lips. Mesh’la where did that come from the usual calm and restrained Commander?
“I’ve learned from the best.” I sighed back to him. My head falling on his shoulder and my hand with the blaster, to the side of my body. Wasn’t able to hold it any longer. My waist leaned into his touch while I tried not to lose the focus completely, but that was a battle I was pretty sure I’d lose.
Cody chuckled while his hand on my waist wandered slowly deeper, “Yeah? Who’s that? Would like to meet them one day. May I could learn something as well.”
“I don’t think that.”
“What d’you mean?”
“I think you don’t need anyone to teach you. You already do anything in the most perfect way.”
Cody’s breath grew heavier and I felt how he and his emotions switched by his force signature. I felt something that I never felt on him before, but I couldn’t figure out what it was.
“You know, General, that’s always the thing I thought of you, but now I saw you here. Failing at the task on shooting with a blaster. A thing everyone around me was always good at.” I felt his grin against my neck while his hand now rested on my stomach. “But no worries. That’s what I’m here for. To help you out like a good Commander does.”
I sighed and closed my eyes. Why was he like that.
“But for now I think you should go rest. It’s late and we have a mission tomorrow.”Cody’s hand took the blaster from me while I was still pudding in his arms. I didn’t want him to step away. He should stay. With me. And don’t stop whatever this was between us.
“Cody I-.” The beeping of my comm interrupted me. I slightly jumped at the sound. Out of Cody’s touch. The moment between us, officially over.
“I’m needed at the bridge”, I mumbled more to me than him after I had checked the breaker.
“You shouldn’t let General Kenobi wait then”, was all he said. His beautiful face didn’t show anything of all what happened a few minutes ago. Back was the soldier. The Commander.
With a simple nod I started to walk away from him. Feeling not as confident as normally. He had awakened something inside me. And I knew that it changed things between us as well.

Note
Hi! I saw your requests were open and i was wondering if you would do HCs of taking care of an injured reader?
I mean I can, you didn't specify what fandom or characters so I'm just going to use this as an excuse to write for Commander Cody. If you wanted with a different character just let me know and I can write another one.
Main Masterlist
Tumblr media
He notices immediately
Even if you try to hide the fact that you're injured you'd find out
It didn't matter whether you were his permanent general or if you'd only be leading the 212th temporarily, he makes a point to look after his jedi
You weren't supposed to be working with the 212th but Obi wan was with Anakin on a separate mission and your own battalion was holding down the fort on a planet you'd recently liberated so when the 2012th went into battle you led them.
When you took command of the 212th you'd met him for the first time and taken a liking to him. He was organized and good at his job and the two of you had bonded as you worked together so when you'd been late to that morning's briefing he'd been a little suspicious.
When you came into the command tent wearing your cloak he was even more suspicious, you never wear it.
"Is everything alright General? You seem off" He'd asked you
You'd tried to tell him you were fine but when you winced halfway through your sentenced you knew he wouldn't buy it.
That's when you revealed that you'd been hit during the last day's battle. You wore your cloak to hide the singe marks on your robes and even though you treated your wound with a bacta patch it'll be a few days before you can move your shoulder properly.
Cody had banned you from the command tent once he found out. You would have reminded him that he couldn't order you (his general) but he knew Kenobi (his original general and a close friend of yours) would be incredibly disappointed if he'd let you fight while injured.
He made sure the medics looked at your wound and treated it properly and he visited you in your tent to report on the situation along with bringing you a cup of your favorite tea.
You'd spent the time meditating in your tent since your men were insistent you rest.
"You shouldn't do that general, it looks... strenuous." He said over tea and you smiled.
"It's a blaster shot not a saber through the gut. Nothing that should stop me from communing with the force, besides you've worked off worse" You reminded him and you both chuckled.
"Is that what that is? General Kenobi never mentioned that part" Cody said and you chuckled
While you were recovering you taught him how to meditate, it actually helped him occasionally and whenever you'd work with the 212th again the two of you would find a time to meditate together.

A Sniper’s Competition (Crosshair x Reader)
Tumblr media
Story Summary:
The Republic had many humanized weapons in this war but all of them were well known by the Separatist forces. All of them but me, that is. The Republic brought me in at the beginning of this war to be one of their secret weapons. A sniper who could go undercover and stay unknown to the enemy. As the war grows closer to a close, the Republic is sending me on a new mission, one that includes four experimental clones. Which another sniper, who was known for his disdain for others, already in the squad, things were sure to get interesting.
Author’s note:
Hi everyone! Sorry for the delay getting this out. Life has been very stressful and hectic lately. This chapter is the longest one yet and I hope you enjoy it! If you do please consider leaving a comment or reblogging (my serotonin skyrockets when you do).
Also please let me know if you ever want to make fan art or mood boards for this story. I will literally never say no.
Considering he is mentioned again in this, I will be taking requests for some Fives x Reader one shots if anyone would like them. They would take place before this story and I will keep them from having any spoilers for upcoming chapters and story arcs. As I said last week, this story is just beginning and I can’t wait to see where it takes us!
Ps. Formatting will be a bit weird with this chapter. I’m positing from a cruise ship and the wifi is terrible so I can’t go in and change things around from my IPad at the moment.

Chapter 11
Droids now flanked us from both sides, effectively cutting off any chance of a clean escape. Normally I would suggest shooting through them, but there was too much of a chance of friendly fire when we were single file like this. Still, I crouched down, giving Crosshair a clean shot over my shoulder.
“Whoa,” I heard behind me, and before I could turn completely, I saw Crosshair wobbling. Before he could completely lose his balance and fall, I had my arm wrapped around his trim waist and held him steady. Gritting my teeth, I let a little bit of the force run through me, focusing on holding us balanced.
“And you thought I’d be the one who would fall,” I ground out. A relieved huff of laughter escaped Crosshair as he leaned against me for balance. He reached into my side holster and pulled out my smaller blaster, efficiently taking my rifle from my free hand and strapping it to my back. Then he put the smaller blaster into my free hand before turning to shoot in the other direction with his rifle. I squeezed his waist in appreciation. The whole maneuver had taken about three seconds and we were able to quickly resume firing.
“Anybody got a brilliant idea?” Anakin called as he deflected blaster bolts.
“I do!” Tech yelled. “I have a brilliant idea.”
“Out with it Tech!” I yelled, sweat beading on my brow from focusing so much on shooting accurately while holding Cross and I upright.
“When the locals attacked us, I recorded the creatures’ distress call,” He replied like it was a normal occurrence for people to have random recordings.
“He records everything,” Hunter commented, probably sensing our confusion. “It’s a hobby.”
“Which allows us to call those flying creatures to us!” Tech proclaimed and without any further warning, a piercing screech penetrated my ear drums. I fought the urge to cover where my ears were, knowing I couldn’t let go of Cross.
“Ow! Enough with the sound!” Wrecker’s booming voice called over the piercing noise. The sound cut off and even though the gusts of wind and the noises of battle could be heard, it almost felt blissfully quiet now.
“There is our ride out of here!” Tech yelled while pointing below us at the winged creatures circling there.
“Now, how do we get on them?” Anakin questioned, and I had a bad feeling I knew the answer.
“How else?” Tech started. “We jump!”
My heart rate sped up. Being this high up was one thing, jumping towards the abyss was another. Anakin called my name.
“You are one with the force and the force is with you,” he said calmly, reassurance strong in his gaze. I shakily nodded back, understanding what he meant. Almost as if giving an instructional demonstration, Anakin called that he would go first. As he jumped, I opened my awareness, feeling how he used the force to expertly adjust his position to land perfectly on the flying beast. Rex went next, pulling Echo with him. A sigh of relief left me once they were safely on.
I felt a tug on my blaster and watched as Crosshair took it and slid it back into the holster at my hip. He secured his rifle to his back and turned his helmet to me.
“Ready?” He questioned, voice soft but with urgency behind it.
“As I’ll ever be,” I replied. I focused on the circling creatures and tracked one until it was almost below us. My heart plummeted as I leapt off the side of the pipe and began falling. I redirected the energy I’d been using to keep us upright into minute adjustments to the air around me. Pushing my body slightly to the left in order to land perfectly on the creature’s mid back. The landing knocked the breath out of me and I gasped for air as I felt the thud of Crosshair landing next to me.
I scrambled into a sitting position and grabbed hold of the reins on the creature’s neck. I shook them and tapped my foot against its side, hoping it would beckon it to go forward. With a jolt, it sailed forward away from the base.
“Those things can fly!” I heard someone shout. Risking a glance backwards, I saw the droids following us, colorful translucent wings carrying them closer.
“We have to shake those droids!” Someone else yelled.
“You got it, Cross?” I questioned.
“Easiest thing I’ve been asked to do today,” He replied, oozing confidence. He sat down with his back pressed against mine, and I tensed my muscles to make myself a stronger base to lean against. I both heard and felt his shots as they took down the remaining droids. My focus was pulled back to steering, or attempting to, the creature beneath me as it dodged sudden rocky outcroppings that suddenly appeared through the fog.
I felt Cross’s weight leave me for a second before it returned, but this time it was more encompassing. His chest pressed against my back, thighs firmly aligned with mine and one arm grabbing the reins from my hands while the other wrapped around my waist. He pulled me tight against him.
“They’re gone for now. You need to breathe,” He said just loud enough for me to hear. I let out a breath I didn’t realize I had been holding, slumping against his strong body. The force flowed out of me and I realized I had been holding tightly onto tendrils of it even once I was steady.
“They’ll follow us,” I answered, gaze darting around for more enemy combatants.
“They will,” he confirmed bluntly, not treating me like I was fragile. “But we should be fine until we get to the village.”
I believed his assessment, but it didn’t stop me from scanning the horizon again, but this time I made the instinctual mistake of looking down.
“Kriff,” I cursed. I was unable to tear my eyes away from the rapidly moving ground that was so far below us. The rocky sandy grand of Skako Minor blurred and hints of lush green filled my head. The two biomes blurred together as my mind was pulled to a different time and planet.
A tight squeeze around my waist snapped me back to reality.
“Eyes on the sky,” Cross commanded, his fingers finding the tiny bit of my abdomen not covered in armor. They ran over it in little patterns, drawing my attention to that instead of the height we were flying at. I tilted my head back, visor pointed to the clouds.
His advice was surprisingly helpful. The clouds didn’t look like they were passing as quickly as the ground had been and they created a calming feeling within me. My helmet fell back against his shoulder as I kept looking to the clouds, focusing on the shapes and patterns of them.
“Thanks, Cross,” I murmured, letting myself relax as much as I could while still in an active war zone.
“Anytime,” he replied. “This is what we tell Wrecker to do when we’re in situations like this. Seems to help him so I figured it’d help you, too.”
“Do you hold Wrecker like this, too?” I questioned sarcastically.
“No, and I hope I won’t ever have to,” he answered with a small laugh. The rest of the flight passed quietly, with the only change being Crosshair’s arm tightening around me as we started descending towards the ground to land. We were the last ones in and I saw the rest of the group arguing with the Poltecs.
“Steer us over to that ledge,” I told Cross, pointing him towards a higher vantage point. If the Poltecs didn’t want us here, this could turn violent fast and our guys would need cover.
Through my helmet, I could hear Rex giving a rousing speech about Echo and the treatment he had endured at the hands of the Techno Union, but I had to tune it out. I couldn’t think about the torture Echo had endured right now.
When we landed, Crosshair and I quickly moved towards the edge of the ledge. Back to back, we scoped out the area with my scope aimed towards our men in the small village and his to the skies.
The two forces on the ground appeared to have come to an agreement and began coming up with a loose plan of attack. They had just established that Echo and Anakin would be joining our position when Crosshair called out;
“I see forces coming.”
I turned to where he was looking and helped him to dispatch what were likely to be scouting droids. It didn’t matter though, they had already seen us and likely transmitted back to the Techno Union. The Poltecs, Rex and the Batch quickly worked to move into some semblance of a formation while Anakin helped Echo up to our vantage point. When they reached us, Echo gave me a small smile.
“Like old times huh?” He asked, gesturing to my now prone and ready position.
“Wouldn’t be working with the ram’ser if it was like old times, and he’s a pain in my ass,” I answered, eyes darting between my scope and Echo. Crosshair let out a sound of indignation.
“You’re not any easier to deal with, sweetheart,” He muttered. Echo looked at us knowingly, like he saw a tether between us that we were unaware of. I could sense that whatever the next question out of his mouth was, it would lead to an uncomfortable situation so I spoke first.
“Can you hold a blaster?”
Echo nodded, and I handed him my sidearm. There was a weight in his expression as he knew I did not part with my weapons easily.
“Thank you,” he murmured softly, checking over the blaster.
“Of course, vod’ika,” I answered. Mischief lit in his gaze.
“You realize that we’re biologically around the same age, right? I’m not a little brother, Now you can call Fives that anytime, but not me,” he joked. My heart dropped at the mention of the other Domino twin, but I was spared having to explain why because Crosshair called that more droids were incoming. I’d never been so happy to be under attack.
I laid back down next to Crosshair, blaster at the ready as the droids flew closer.
“Care to make this more interesting?” I questioned.
“Always,” he replied, a challenge clear in his tone.
“Sniper who takes down the most droids owes the other a favor of their choosing. Anything they want.”
“Deal,” he replied without hesitation. “But just know that when I win, I’ll be putting that tongue to good use around my-“
“Do not finish that sentence,” Anakin groaned. As he spoke, droids had begun to fly in and Cross and I started taking shots.
“It’s alright, Ani,” I joked between shots. “I know the Jedi don’t teach sex ed, but when a girl likes a guy she sometimes gets on her knees-“
“I swear to the maker I will tie you up and put you in a cave somewhere if you don’t shut up,” he interrupted, eyes focused on the battle in front of us. I took another two shots before muttering;
“Kinky.”
“Tying you up is my job,” Crosshair muttered, heat simmering under that composed facade. Through my scope I could see two droids drop out of the sky that he had shot.
“Not if I win, then I’ll be the one doing the tying,” I flirted, upping my game and taking out two of the droids he had been aiming at. I wasn’t sure which man would be the first to scold me, him or Anakin, but was spared from it when two giant walker droids dropped into the middle of the village. I cursed under my breath as they quickly and easily took out a large group of Poltecs in one shot.
“Rex,” Anakin called into his comms. “We’ve gotta take out these walkers! I’ll take one. You take the other.”
“Don’t worry, General. The boys and I can handle this,” Rex answered with a confident swagger to his voice.
I peaked up and saw Anakin backing up and gauging the jump to the top of the walker in front of us.
“Still showing off, huh, General?” Echo asked with a laugh.
“It’s insufferable,” I muttered before turning back to my scope, not wanting to let Crosshair out shoot me.
“You know me, Echo,” Anakin said with a chuckle and out of the corner of my eye I saw him sprint by, lightsaber in a hand, and jump.
He landed gracefully on the droid and stayed atop it as it began walking away from our ledge. I turned my scope to him, picking off any flying droids that dared to come near him. He lit his lightsaber and began cutting away at the droid’s defenses.
I heard Rex shouting across the field and my stomach dropped. Quickly I turned to locate him, but what I saw wasn’t danger surrounding him, but Wrecker launching him into the sky. Thankfully, Rex was able to cling onto the blaster barrel on the droid.
“If this wasn’t a war zone,” I muttered. “That would have been hysterical.”
“Agreed,” Echo responded. As Rex and the batch worked to take down the droid, it began lumbering over towards our ledge. While it looked like they would be able to take it out soon, the droid was destroying the village underfoot and taking out some of the Poltecs with each step. A plan rushed to my head andI cursed aloud as I fully came to terms with what I planned to do. As I stood and strapped my rifle to my back, Crosshair finally tore his eyes from the sight of his blaster.
“What are you doing?” He questioned, his body going rigid.
“Just cover me,” I responded, backing away from the edge and calculating the gap between me and the approaching droid. “You’re about to see why the GAR hires me so often.”
With a deep breath, I began sprinting forward towards the edge. A few things became clear as I got ready to leap. I took in Anakin’s droid crackling with electricity under him as it shorted out. I saw a Poltec’s home crushed under the giant metal foot of the droid I was aiming for. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Crosshair jump to his feet and reach for me. Echo’s pale hand grasped his shoulder, holding him still as they both watched me.
Then I leapt.
The air rushed around me and I prayed to the maker that I had used enough of the force to reach the droid. It rapidly came closer and before I had realized it, I landed nimbly atop the droids giant bulbous head.
“Anakin!” I called. His eyes were already on me, as he had watched me jump while his droid died beneath him.
“Saber!” I called. No doubt crossed his face as he threw it to me with force driven accuracy. I ignited it as I caught it and drove it down into the head of the droid before sliding down the side of it with the saber still buried in it. The force wreathed around the handle of the blade, like I subconsciously knew how to use it to help move the sword. When I reached the lip at the base of the dome, I made quick work of slashing through the remaining blaster barrels. With a final stab to the remaining glowing red eye of the droid, it began to fizzle. The beast of a machine shuddered beneath my feet and I slid down one of its long legs, dragging the saber blade between each of the joints as I went. It caused the leg to buckle and the droid to fall directly down instead of to the side.
My feet hit the ground and I sprinted away from it towards Anakin who was still atop his droid. Glancing back, I saw my droid crash to the ground with, thankfully, nothing beneath it. My timing had been perfect, downing it before it could reach more of the small civilizations infrastructure. When I was close enough, I threw the lightsaber high into the air for Anakin, who used the force to snap it to him. Following my cue, he took his droid down in the same way I had, resulting in minimal damage to the surrounding village.
My breath came in heavy pants as the cheering of the Poltecs filled my ears. I took note that Rex and the Batch were all accounted for and I didn’t need to turn to know it was Crosshair running up behind me.
“Are you insane?” He questioned as he ripped his helmet off. “That could have killed my brothers!”
“Crosshair,” I began, but he cut me off, tone harsh.
“They were still on and near that droid and you decided to jump onto the droid to fulfill some fantasy of being a jetii. That lightsaber could have killed them! You can’t-“
This time it wasn’t me who cut interrupted his tirade, but Hunter.
“We’re fine, Cross,” he reassured firmly. “Now stop being pissy because she put herself in danger while pulling off one the most badass maneuvers I’ve ever seen. She’s fine.”
Hunter threw his arm over my shoulder and leaned in conspiratorially.
“He gets a bit overprotective when we put ourselves in diuretic danger like that. Should have warned you earlier this could happen,” he whispered loudly so Crosshair could hear. The taller man huffed and stormed off, making some excuse about double checking for more incoming droids. Hunter let go of me to follow him, but before I could move, another arm encircled my body.
“Nearly gave me a heart attack there,” Rex muttered. “I figured had a plan but my heart still stopped when you were airborne.”
“Sorry to worry you, Rexxie, but I had it under control,” I laughed.
“Oh, I know. Got the Batch off the droid as fast as I could when I saw you were incoming.”
I let out a sigh of relief, glad Rex had made them move when he did. The one hitch in my plan was if the remaining troopers didn’t get off the droid fast enough and fell along with it, but Rex had my back as always.
Anakin approached us after speaking with the Poltecs some more via Tech.
“Have fun with my saber?” He asked me with a smirk.
“That sounded dirty, Ani. I’ll tell Padmé to wash your mouth out with soap,” I threatened. His face paled while Rex keeled over in laughter.
We stayed long enough to help the Poltecs move their injured and count their losses. After a few hours, we decided it was time to head back to the Maruader which I was glad was parked nearby. As we made the hike, Crosshair kept his back to me, still refusing to speak to me after my stunt. Hunter had advised me to give him some space to simmer and then approach him later about it. Apparently, this was a common reaction from Cross and he’d be more open to a discussion later on.
Everyone was loading onto the ship but Echo’s call of my name and Rex’s stopped us before we reached the ship. The rest of the troop loaded up without hesitation, but I did note Crosshair assessing the situation before moving on. Our eyes met and he nodded to me before stepping into the Marauder.
As I turned to face Echo, the exhaustion I’d been pushing off all day began to hit me. My knees wanted to give out, but I told myself that I could relax as soon as I made it onto the ship.
“Thanks for coming for me,” Echo said softly, gaze shifting between Rex and I.
“That’s what brother do,” Rex assured, voice breaking halfway through.
“I’m just sorry it took so long,” I told him honestly. Rex reached over and gently clapped Echo on the shoulder.
“Hopefully, it will be just like old times,” he reassured before moving to the ship. What he didn’t see, and definitely didn’t feel, was the sorrow and doubt that crossed Echo’s face at the words. I moved closer and grabbed hold of his frail hand. The force of his emotions flowed through me at that touch.
“It’s ok if things aren’t the same, Echo,” I explained, clutching his hand tighter as I felt doubt spread through him. “I mean it. You’ll forge your own future now and figure out what’s best for you.”
His emotions eased just a bit and his eyes met mine.
“Thank you, Vod.”
I reached for the force again and tried to send thoughts of calmness and reassurance to him, the second I reached out to that invisible current, the world went black.

Dear Friend
Star Wars
Commander Cody x ex Jedi!gn!reader
Finally posted something here!!
I’m currently watching Nightmare Before Christmas (because everyday is Halloween to me) and I thought of this little scenario.
This is part one, although this one could be considered a standalone.
Cody is force sensitive because I say he is.
Warnings: angst (no happy ending), no use of Y/N, major character death, talk of death, talk of Order 66
Summary: Post Order 66, Cody breaks free of the chips control and he defects from The Galactic Empire.
Cody had left The Galactic Empire and had retreated to Utapau. He sees the bodies of The 212 Attack Battalion, his men, his brothers, scattered around the place. None of this was their fault. Good soldiers follow orders.
He hears footsteps making their way towards him. He knew who it was. They were his General during the Clone Wars. They were the one responsible for the deaths of his brothers.
“Have you come to finish the job?” He turns to see them, pure hatred stirring deep within him. While his brothers were under control of The Senate, they were murdered by a Jedi who had full control over their actions. The Jedi nods their head. “You deserve it.” The Jedi says glumly.
They remove their lightsaber from their belt, tossing it to Cody’s feet before kneeling down on the ground. “I’m ready.” They lower their head. Cody picks up the lightsaber, igniting it. The (f/c) blade was bright as Cody thought it over.
“I know as well as you that this isn’t the Jedi way.” He glares at The Jedi. They nod in understanding. “I know, but this is the way. You must avenge your brothers.” Cody silently agreed, deciding to made the death quick and painless.
This Jedi might have murdered Cody’s brothers, but they were also a friend of The 212 and not just their General. He quickly thrusts the blade into their chest, quickly ending their life. “Goodbye, my dear friend.” Cody hears the tear filled conclusion of The Jedi’s life as he turns off the blade.
Their body slumped to the ground. Cody rests the lightsaber on their stomach, walking away from the rest of The 212 Attack Battalion. He was the last one left…

Pairing : Crosshair x f!jedi!reader
Prompt : “What is going on inside your head ?”
Warnings : NSFW!!, smut, unprotected sex (wrap it irl), p in v, oral sex (f and m receiving)
Wordcount : 3,3k
Summary : You and Crosshair are send on an infiltration mission together, far away from the Batch and just the two of you for a couple days. The perfect opportunity to finally get closer to him without being caught by any witnesses.
A/N : Behold ! Here is my submission for the @cloneficgiftexchange ! I was assigned to @skellymom, and let me tell you, it was the perfect opportunity to finally write smut ! 😄
I wanted something spicy for Crosshair with that prompt, and it’s my first ever time with smut, so I really hope that it turned out okay and that you'll enjoy reading it as much as I had fun writing it ! (Not gonna lie, it was harder to write than I thought, it was a big challenge for me, and I'm very nervous about posting it, but I’m so happy that I was able to finish it !)
Enjoy 💜
“Kriff, there’s only one bed ...” you let out with shock as soon as you entered the room, instantly stopping in your tracks.
You didn’t even realize how funny you sounded at the moment.
“Of course there’s only one bed, you didn’t specify that we needed two !” a mocking voice rose behind you, instantly making you unfreeze.
“You didn’t either !” you exclaimed, rolling your eyes and heading toward the nearest light switch.
He didn’t answer anything, but you still caught the sight of a grin growing on his face as he closed the door.
The evening had been long, and very special, too. You were currently on an undercover mission, sent by Commander Cody to infiltrate a bar owned by someone suspected to be at the head of an arms trafficking that was, apparently, supplying by stealing their weapons directly into the GAR armories, with the help of a mole.
It was a very big deal both for the Jedi Council and the GAR, and it needed to be stopped as soon as possible.
This is how you were assigned to that unusual task. And since you had worked with the Batch on a lot of missions already, and that the Jedi Council didn’t want you to go alone on a Separatist ruled planet, Cody asked them for a little help. And of course, they agreed.
It was decided that only one of them would come with you at the bar, and that you’ll use the civilian space transport to reach your destination. The air traffic was very restricted and monitored there, you just couldn’t show yourself with the Marauder or any other military ship.
The cover was perfect : a young couple of humans from Coruscant on vacation, here to attend a local music festival hosted in a nearby city in a few days, who decided to stop at a bar in the city they landed in and have some fun before traveling toward their final destination.
The yearly event was known to attract waves of foreigners, so your presence wasn’t going to seem suspicious.
How did Crosshair ended up being the one accompanying you when it could have been any of the others ?
Well, he volunteered.
“Oh kriff !” you grumbled again as the light bulb instantly fried when you pushed the switch, the room filling with a sudden and violent flash of light for a brief second before returning to darkness.
“Well …” you nervously chuckled, “That night is gonna be interesting !”
The curtains were still open, and the public lighting on the outside was bathing the room in some sort of weird, dimed and gloomy atmosphere. It was enough for you to still be able to distinguish the furniture and to locate a little bed table and the lamp settled on it.
“Here we are …” you proudly burst as you successfully turn it on, the bulb staying intact this time.
You let out a long and relieved sigh as your gaze fell onto the window and the view of the city. This place wasn’t that different from Coruscant, you thought.
You finally were starting to relax after a whole evening on your guards, scanning and examining every person around you, trying to catch a glimpse of every conversation and every detail that could have possibly led you to the precious intel you were searching for.
Stealth and observation were part of your most developed abilities, and you were a good actor, so fitting in wasn’t that hard. Your wandering eyes and ears did the rest of the job.
And what they were able to catch was, indeed, going to be very useful for the next step of your inquiry.
You weren’t really trusting Crosshair’s capacities to play pretend at first. But despite your apprehensions, he unexpectedly proved himself to be very good at acting as your boyfriend. Way too good maybe.
Before you could even make any move toward the window to get a closer look at the surroundings, you felt a presence standing right behind you. The sensation made you freeze on the spot, unable to move anymore.
“What do you mean, the night is gonna be interesting ?” his deep voice nearly caused you to jump.
You weren’t expecting him to be that close right now. You were so focused on that damn window that you didn’t notice how quickly and swiftly he had moved.
Where were your stupid jedi reflexes when you needed them ?
“Depends on how you interpret it.” you answered with a sly smile.
It’s been this way for the whole evening, throwing dirty or sarcastic remarks at each other. It was perfectly in character then, and not that much of acting : you were close friends and scoffing at each other was an integral part of your communication.
But this time, it felt different.
Your instinct was telling you that something was about to happen, but you were trying your best not to think about it.
Not to fantasize about it.
A light chuckle escaped his mouth, and you suddenly couldn’t get your eyes off of his lips.
"What is going on inside your head, General ?" He asked with a mischievous grin.
You couldn't resist it anymore, you’ve been trying your best not to stare at him for too long since you arrived at the bar, and for months before that mission, in fact.
And you were doing just fine until then, but that damn smile broke your last string of self control.
"Plenty of things actually, do you want me to show you ?" You let out, before you could even think about the consequences of your words.
Then your little playful smile suddenly fades away as a wave of embarrassment hit you.
“No, I’m sorry, that’s not … I wasn’t expecting it to sound that …”
“… Sincere ?” he interrupted you.
You were suddenly feeling so self-conscious that you lowered your head, the heat violently raising to your cheeks, trying to focus so hard on the floor that you barely noticed him coming even closer.
“I’m so sorry …” you muttered, “I took the joke too far, I shouldn’t have said that …”
“Why for ?”
“I’m your superior …”
“Oh, cut it out, please …” his tone was firm, but softer than usual, “All I want to know is if you really had something on your mind or not.”
You slowly raised your head to meet his eyes again. They were burning with lust now.
“Yes …” you breathed out, “I may have a way too precise idea of how that night was going to end …”
You stopped. The sound of your heart beating faster than ever was ringing through your ears now, but you still felt it skip a bit when the sniper leaned toward you until his nose was nearly brushing against yours.
“Show me, then.”
He didn’t need to ask twice, you just couldn’t keep your hands off of him anymore anyway.
With trembling fingers, you reached for his face, cupping it gently, finally finding enough courage to kiss those lips you had been craving to feel on yours for so long.
It was shy and hesitant at first, but it didn’t take long before he answered it, giving you a pleasant rush of self-confidence as his hands fell on your hips, pulling your body against his.
Your legs became weak and the world seemed to start spinning around you, but you definitely lost it when, as he deepened the kiss, his hands slipped from your hips to your butt, grabbing it firmly.
The unexpected touch sent a wave of heat and excitation through your body, and for a moment, you thought that your pussy was about to melt.
“You’re so beautiful …” you heard him whisper in your ear in a deeper, lower voice than usual.
It was too much for you to bear, and your impatient hands reached for his pants and belt, starting to unfasten it as you pushed him against the nearest wall. You were blessing the fact that he wasn't wearing his armor right now.
“I didn’t know that you were that skilled with your hands.” he quipped, he was still grinding, and his words suddenly sounded like a challenge.
You didn’t answer anything, but instead let your fingers slip into his pants, softly caressing him through his underwear at first, your lips reaching for his neck and planting small pecks on it. He was nearly fully hard already, and you couldn’t help but bite your lips at the thought, suddenly craving to feel his cock sliding inside of you.
A gasp escaped his mouth and his grip on you became tighter, one of his hands starting to roam under your shirt until it landed on your chest, massaging your breast through your bra.
But you stop him in his tracks to take down both his pants and underwear. The fabric fell on the floor with a muffled crumpling, finally allowing you free access to his crotch.
His whole body shivered when your fingers started to brush over his bare skin, softly caressing his hips and his balls, before wrapping them around his length and beginning to stroke it gently.
“Maker … “ he exhaled, “you have now idea how long I have been wanting you to touch me …”
The words made your pussy throb under your skirt. So it wasn’t your brain playing tricks on you after all, those lingering glances that he kept throwing at you really meant what you thought it was.
“I guess I understand why you volunteered for that mission now.”
He answered you with his lips crashing against yours again, but the kiss was angrier this time. When you broke it, you started to go down on him, still stroking him.
You heard a faint moan escape his as your mouth took the tip of his erection in, your lips gently wrapping and slowly moving back and forth around it, one of your hands following the same gesture and the other settling on his back end.
His skin was soft and warm under your tongue, and as you were shoving his length deeper and deeper into your throat, you heard his breath become more and more intense and loud.
Even if your eyes were closed, you could feel the weight of his intense stare upon you. You knew that you were being watched, but you knew that you were having complete power over him as well right now, and it felt immensely satisfying.
Pleasure was making his hips shake, and as you were increasing your pace, his fingers ran through your hair, firmly taking a hold on them.
"St ... Stop ..." you suddenly heard him mutter, panting.
You immediately paused, raising your head toward him with a worried look.
"You okay ? What's wrong ?" You asked, your brows furrowing in concern.
"No, it's good, too good ... But now it's my time to show you something” he smirked, his hand reaching for yours, unwrapping it from his length and tucking on it to signify you to stand up.
His eyes were glowing with desire, and as soon as you were up on your feet, he dragged you along toward the bed, and in a matter of seconds, you were laying on your back on the mattress with him towering you.
Your heart skipped a bit when you saw him removing his shirt, revealing the other half of his body.
“Like what you see ?” he smugly asked with a bragging expression on his face.
“You have no idea …” you let out, hungrily staring at him.
With an amused chuckle, he leaned over you to get rid of your own shirt and your bra as well, sending them flying across the room.
Now it was his turn to play, and he wanted to take his time with you.
His hands landed on your breast as he kissed you needily, the tips of his lean fingers playing with your nipples, rubbing them delicately.
You let out a moan against his lips, and your hands started to wander on his back, pressing him against you.
Then it was your skirt’s turn to be removed as he began to go down your body, leaving a trail of small kisses behind him. The caress of his lips on your exposed body sent little shivers down your spine, and you couldn’t help but start panting in anticipation.
It wasn't happening so often, but your patience was running thin as your excitation grew stronger. Your whole body was craving for his touch, and he knew it.
He must have been so proud of himself right now.
You clenched your teeth when he pulled out your panties, making it slip along your legs before spreading them open.
He started by planting kisses all over your hips, then your tights, his lips brushing against your skin between each one, while his fingers were working their way to your inner thighs, starting to massage your clit carefully.
“So wet for me already …” he purred, his voice always sounded attractive to you, but in this context and with this satisfied tone, it was driving you crazy.
His mouth finally found your pussy, kissing it just like the rest of your body at first, before his tongue started to draw little circles on it. The pressure of his hands clasped around your tights, securing them in position with a firm grasp was just as arousing, and you absentmindedly grabbed his wrist, your back arching as the movements of his tongue were sending little waves of pleasure through down your spine.
When it suddenly hit the perfect spot, your body twitched, your grip on his wrist tightened, and you couldn’t retain a loud groan. As the touch of his tongue became more insistent and stronger on that spot, he let go of one of your tight, breaking free of the embrace of your hand to caress your entrance with the tips of his fingers.
Another loud moan escaped from your mouth when he slid one inside of you, then another, curling them and making small back and forth gestures.
“Please …” you whimpered, “Please, stop playing with me like that …”
You were breathless, and as much as he liked to tease you, his own horniness was becoming hard to contain as well.
Your eyes followed him as move out from between your legs to crawl over you, the light of the little bed lamp bathing his slim body in a warm halo and making his silver hair shine.
Now that you were finally allowing yourself and taking your time to stare at him, you couldn’t help but find him looking even more handsome than you already thought.
He stopped atop of you, sitting on his elbows, his lips still wet with your arousal angrily kissing you. You answered the kiss as passionately, opening your mouth to press your tongue against his, your fingers losing themselves in his hair.
“Are you sure this is what you really want, General ?”
The way he called you “General” sounded so dirty that it just made your brain melt. You were a mess right now, and military ranks weren’t meaning anything anymore to you at that moment, the only thing that you needed was to have him fuck the hell out of you.
“Yes, please !” you beg him.
“As you wish …” he whispered in your ear before getting up on his knees and grabbing your hips.
You didn’t resist him when he rolled you on your stomach and spread your legs open once again, raising your ass and arching your back to give him full access to your entrance. You let out a gasp of relief when the tip of his erection pressed against it, easily sliding in with how wet you were, while one of his hands was playing with your nipples.
He started to slowly move into you, diving as deep into your pussy as possible with every thrust, burying his face in the crook of your neck, covering it with kisses that quickly turned into bites.
Soon, his pace was increasing, and your legs retracted to your back, your toes curling as you were leaning against him, adjusting the movement of your body to match his.
The feeling of his hot and quick breath hitting your skin made you want to kiss him so badly that you lifted up your head, begging for his lips with pleading eyes.
They crashed against yours more violently than expected, nearly making your teeth clash, and you felt the embrace of one his arm tightening around your chest, pressing your back strongly against his.
Suddenly, his other arm slid under your body, his hand reaching for your clit and his fingers starting to massage it.
“Crosshair …” you breathed out at the unexpected sensation.
He was in complete control of your body now, and to hear you moan his name was so thrilling that his pace accelerated even more and his movement became rougher, causing his hips to smack against your butt with loud thuds.
You closed your eyes, focusing on the feeling of his finger rubbing your clit and the heat that was growing between your legs as he thrusted faster and faster into you, until a massive wave of pleasure hit you, sending a violent shudder through you, your whole body contracting and freezing for a second.
You were the first to come, but he was right behind you, already on the verge of his own orgasm when the sudden contraction of your walls around his cock and your loud moans finally triggered it.
He let out a groan, his head falling on your shoulder and his face burying in the crook of your neck, his embrace around you tightening one last time before his arms started to relax.
It was so intense that your vision was a bit blurry and tingling. It left you both panting, trembling and sweaty, with your legs entangled and your skins burning hot. He kept his face pressed against you for a moment, then slowly raised it to place a gentle kiss on your cheek.
You stayed that way for a couple more times, allowing your breaths to return to its normal pace and the beating of your hearts to slow down, before breaking the embrace.
“Was this supposed to be part of the mission as well ?” he teased you, as soon as he was laying next to you.
“Well, not really, but I guess it’s a bit too late to ask Cody about it now … He didn't gave us any limits after, as long as the cover is credible ...”
The remark and your mischievous expression sparked a smile on his face, but for once, it wasn’t one of his usual malicious grins, it was a real, soft and sincere smile. His eyes were riveted to you, admiring you. It was the first time that he was looking at you from that close, and you couldn’t help but blush under his eyes.
“What do you think about taking a shower before going to sleep, hu ?”
“Yeah, I wouldn’t say no !” you chuckle with embarrassment when you noticed that the bed sheets were sticking to your belly as you tried to get up.
***
When you woke up the next morning, the first thing that came to your still sleepy mind was the comforting sensation of Crosshair’s body cuddled against yours, his head rested on your chest and his arms tightly wrapped around your waist, the warmth of his skin pleasantly enveloping you.
It felt like the whole previous night was a dream at first, but then the first thing that he did when opening his eyes was to gently caress your hair and press a long kiss on your forehead, taking you back to reality.
“Hello, Mesh’la …” he mumbled with a soft smile playing on his lips.
You were right, that night was, indeed, very interesting, and the next couple days promised to be as well.
