Lately, I've been experimenting with making custom food for TS3. This one is still a work-in-progress. It's not actually a cake, but I cloned a cake mesh to make it work. Because of that, it currently requires:

You can find it in Buy Mode > Entertainment > Party. At this point, it's not cookable. I haven't added a recipe interaction yet, but I plan to include that in a future update!

✨ Looking for testers to help check the following:

Does the mesh and texture display properly?

After eating, do two positive buffs show up? (Warm Porridge / Chocoberry)

Are the names and translations showing up correctly? (Currently includes: English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, and Japanese)

✨ Future plans:

Make it into a fully cookable recipe.

Add more translations (if anyone is willing to help, I'd really appreciate it, since my language skills are limited!)

If everything goes well, I'd love to try converting more food items.

Vampire Chronicles Fic Sneak Peak!

I'm currently writing on my first fic since Valentine's Day 2024 and I wanted to share some of my drafts and writing process since I've written over 2000 words so far & been getting overall good feedback!

The following excerpt is from my WIP of the second chapter of:

And I have picked a very specific topic to write about for it: Lestat's and Louis' grief about Claudia

It is mostly owed to @plotmonster and I re-reading the IWTV book in these past months and my brain requiring me to write out how Lestat's and Louis' grief affect their relationship as a counterpart to what we see in the books, because they can't do naughty things without dealing with their issues first. My demirose side says hi! 😂

Here's the promised snippet. :3 I'm actually very insecure and anxious about how I captured Louis' side and internal feelings of all this, but considering what happened in the books and season 2 of the series, I think I'm on the right track. 😅

After I decided in mid-April that I want to write about Lestat's and Louis' grief about Claudia and noticed that it's getting wayy longer and complex than I anticipated, I've also requested the help of a fellow fandom member as a beta-reader, because after such a long hiatus I'm not very confident in my skills anymore. 🙈

Okay. So. I first read fanfiction when I was probably way too young for it (shoutout quotev), and then the next step was Wattpad, and then after reading a few fics I was like “wait, I can do this too.” I think it also helps that Wattpad is (or at least used to be) so accessible to writers, so I wrote my first god awful fics when I was like 12 lmao. And the rest is history!

I already answered this in another post, but I might as well take the opportunity to drop another headcanon haha. This is kind of weird, but I feel like Anderperry has a staring problem? Like they both spend 90% of their time looking at one another without even noticing until they get caught by the other and being like OH, YEAH, RIGHT. Neil is the most guilty of it and less aware of when he does it but Todd can get away with it more since Neil is often the center of attention!! Firm belief of mine <3

AH this is actually super hard since the next thing I’m supposed to be posting is the epilogue of my super sad Anderperry fic which has a lot of spoilers! So I think I’ll take this as an opportunity to post from a blurb from an Anderperry fic idea that I’ll probably never end up following through with:

“The salt-worn wood bites greedily into Todd’s knees as he’s manhandled to the ground, his hands already tied behind his back by rough ropes and helpless to prevent the splinters surely digging into his legs. He keeps mum, keeps the grunt of pain he wanted to let out inside since he didn’t want to grant these grifters the satisfaction.”

Very fun to write, but the concept is pretty complicated and I’ll probably never do anything with the idea. But enjoy this little excerpt :)

🍓 ⇢ how did you get into writing fanfiction?

Once upon a time, I wrote something that could be best described as Sailor Moon x Dragon Ball Z crossover fanfic. I think I was eleven. That didn't last, but I did keep writing some original stuff until I sort of fizzled out in or after college. I wrote a few things here and there, but I never really thought about fanfic until BG3 wormed its way into my head. After I started my Durge run, I couldn't stop thinking about Astarion's bite scene and the additional stuff I wanted to describe. And here we are!
