Hamilton Sonic AU, anyone? 👀

I listened to the Hamilton OST recently and it came to me like getting smacked in the head by a dodgeball

Explanations/lore/casting for characters under the cut ⬇️

Tails is Hamilton because of his genius. As for the attitude, we'll just say growing up an orphan has made him... rougher. Yes I know Hamilton-Sonic would be a great nod to Sonic Adventure 2 w/ his rival Shadow/Burr but I thought about it really hard and Tails deserves the spotlight so there >:3

Shadow is Aaron Burr! Rouge is his darling Theodosia cuz Shadow's that kind of guy. Plus the Tails vs Shadow beef is real, so why not let them clash?

Sonic is the double cast of Lafayette and Jefferson, same as the actor cast for the musical. His ego fits Jefferson and Lafayette is Hamilton's best friend. My guy works.

Knuckles is George Washington! Hamilton and Lafayette were Washington's surrogate sons, so Knux rounds out the trio. His personality fits and in this AU the more hot-headed Knux we're used to is the younger version of Washington we don't see in the play (only mentioned). And of course, Mount Vernon is his Master Emerald.

And the Schulyer sisters! Blaze as Angelica, Amy as Eliza, and Cream as Peggy. Definitely some age-changing for this AU. And bonus! The Schulyer parents are Vanilla and Vector. I may draw them later hehe

Also Silver is Phillip, Eggman is King George, and Mighty is Hercules Mulligan.

the dynamic between han yoojin and song taewon is so fascinating for me. song taewon is scared of the effect han yoojin has on s classes. he is terrified of the effect han yoojin has on him. he wants to eliminate the threat - he wants to keep the f rank safe - he wants to eat chicken and drink beer with han yoojin - he wants a life he cannot attain again and possibly never even had. song taewon needs han yoojin to fear him because only then will han yoojin understand the danger he is in around song taewon. song taewon wants han yoojin to keep on not fearing him, because he desperately craves a normal friend and what it represents. no wonder he keeps twisting himself into knots around han yoojin - its everything he wants and fears in such a breakable package. and theres no denying some part of him wants to break it, and that he hates that with a passion.

at the same time, we see han yoojin also compelled by song taewon. initially its only because han yoojin sees the way song taewon is desperately trying to leash himself and wants to hold that leash, but then he notices the pain that collar inflicts on song taewon and eventually just wants him to be happy. however, song taewon cannot just be happy around han yoojin, because of all that he represents for the other man. theres too much wrapped up in it. song taewon keeps reaching for han yoojin, in both friendly and violent manners, and just hurting himself in the process. han yoojin trusts song taewon - han yoojin knows song taewon will break himself before he hurts him - han yoojin does not want to pull on this leash, because it causes too much pain - this leash is the only leverage han yoojin has. song taewon wont hurt han yoojin, hes paradoxically too fragile. so he turns han yoojin into the knife he hurts himself on instead, ignoring han yoojins protests to gouge his wounds even deeper. what a fucked up guy.

Welcome Home- Alice in Wonderland AU Hello all! So I've never come up with an AU for Welcome Home and to my knowledge there isn't one for Alice in Wonderland so here's what I'm thinking. I'm referencing the 1955 version of Alice in Wonderland for this AU and there are only so many characters to work with so if I miss something don't hate me I'm just making it work with who's available. 1. Y/N- Alice 2. Eddie Dear- White Rabbit 3. Frank Frankly- Doorknob 4. Barnaby Beagle- Mad Hatter 5. Sally Starlet- March Hair 6. Howdy Pillar- Caterpillar 7. Wally Darling- Cheshire Cat 8. Poppy Partridge- Y/N's guardian 9. Home- Queen of Hearts/King of Hearts 10. Julie Joyful and sisters- Flowers in the garden Plot: Y/N is learning from Poppy but grows bored learning lessons. At some point, Y/N sees Eddie Dear being late and runs into a hole which Y/N follows. Frank Frankly explains how to shrink to get through the doorway to Wonderland and once Y/N eats and drinks potions and cookies they go through. After meeting with Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum (which could be some beetles from Welcome Home) Y/N continues following Eddie and stumbles into the flower garden where Julie Joyful and her sisters sing about the golden afternoon before Y/N meet Howdy Pillar to help Y/N grow again. After that Y/N comes across Wally Darling who speaks in riddles and explains where to find Barnaby and Sally explaining most everyone is mad here and that even he isn't all there himself (part of the theory of Welcome Home being a cult). After visiting Barnaby and Sally and becoming lost in Wonderland, Wally helps Y/N out with a shortcut to Home where Eddie finally arrives in time. Home plays croquet with Y/N and somehow feels slighted by Y/N breaking his concentration so a trial starts after the nonsense with the trial, and an insult from Wally, Home decides it's off with Y/N's head, and Y/N is chased back through Wonderland. When Y/N can't get out through the door, Frank helps Y/N realize they're asleep and they soon wake up to find Poppy there. Poppy has no idea what Y/N is talking about when Y/N tries to explain Wonderland to her, but they go home for tea in the end. Reflection: For me this AU fits into the theory that was done by Game Theory where Welcome Home is a cult and one by one everyone falls in line with "becoming mad" because of the beliefs Home has in mind for everyone. Wally is the only one that helps Y/N albeit with riddles and starting the chase scene, but that's how Y/N wakes up realizing it's a cult and that he's trying to break free himself by warning us, while trying not to get in trouble. Please let me know what you think!
