Three Times fem!Yuu was caught by surprise

Ramshackle does have a kitchen, its not big but it was cozy. Yuu had put a lot of love into keeping it stocked with flour and spices. Grim had his several bowls on the counter for his meal times, each with a different design. Grim was very spoiled because Yuu made his every meal and snack.

"My henchmen makes the best food ever! She even cooks better then Tray and Jamil!" Grim boasted as he ate his lunch especially made by Yuu.

His tuna sandwiches were cut in cute cat heads, with beautifully glazed mini croissants along with a fruit parfait. With it was a little note from Yuu.

"Be good. For gods sake be good. Love you!"-Yuu♡

The word got around and many people wanted to try it. While Ace and Deuce could play the best friend card others had to take different routes.

Azul wasn't able to ask Yuu directly but he wanted to eat at Ramshackle. Instead of being direct he asked the tweels to help him.

Jade and Floyd would remark on how morose Azul has been and how he has lost his taste for most sweets. Azul was hardly eating now.

Yuu of course was distressed to hear this.

"Poor Azul! Is it something to do with him being a mer?" Yuu asked innocentlyvwith her head tilted slightly like a puppy.

"Yes, he's withering away as we speak. At this rate we may have to return to sea for the sake of his health." Floyd said holding back a laugh.

Yuu bought it immediately because they know nothing about mer physiology.

Jade suggested that the best way to help Azul is trying someone else's cooking.

Yuu offered to invite the Octotrio to her home for dinner. She would prepare something great for them.

Yuu set to cooking as soon as she gathered ingredients.

Azul hated healthy food so no salad.

Wait a minute.

THAT'S PROBABLY WHY HE'S SICK!

"Those eels have probably been letting him eat whatever he wants and now he can't eat!" Yuu yelled as she started cutting chicken.

Almost immediately she switched up the menu. Ratatouille, baked marinated chicken, and for dessert as a treat, tiramisu.

Azul won't be enthusiastic, but he won't have a choice

The Octotrio arrived around 6 pm as Yuu was mixing the tiramisu. She was too distracted to hear Grim opening the front door and letting her guest in or hear the footsteps headed to the kitchen.

Yuu hummed as she poured the coffee mix over the final layer and grabbing a piping bag.

Azul wanted to originally greet her but after watching her focus on her cake, he didn't want to interrupt.

Yuu frosted the cake as she sang. When she tuned to grab the cocoa powder she shrieked.

Azul looked like a dark shadow as he lingered in the doorway and had spooked her.

"Sorry! Sorry!" Azul held up his hands defensively as she screamed.

"DONT DO THAT!" Yuu yelled trying to calm down. "Azul, you could have just come in."

"I didn't want to interrupt you." Azul wanted to sound apologetic but couldn't manage it. Her face was a pretty shade of pink just like a shrimp with the size to match. Floyd was onto something.

Despite the food not being his usual fair Azul relented and found it being pretty good. Even if it was mostly veggies. When the coffee cake was served Azul finally got to eat something he really wanted. If he had to suffer eating nothing but greens again for Yuu's desserts he'd do it again.

Fortunately or unfortunately Yuu would be taking special interest in all of Azul's meals from now one.

Jamil didn't try anything underhanded to taste Yuu's cooking. He didn't even need to say much.

"I'm trying a few new recipes. Do you want to come to the Scarabia drom to help?" Jamil asked as they packed up their books after class.

"I'd love too!" Yuu smiled excitedly as she practically dragged Jamil off to the dorms.

Jamil was caught off guard but relented since he was used to this from Kalim. However holding Yuu's hand wasn't something he was used too. It felt warm like the sun on a breezy day.

Yuu immediately took over the Scarabia kitchen as they began prepping.

"Let's try making baklava or jam rolls." Yuu pulled out the mixing bowls as she watched Jamil sigh and grab the eggs from the fridge.

He wanted to be slightly annoyed by her but he found her excitement endearing. She really enjoyed cooking while Jamil thought it was just a chore, something he had to do.

The two carried on as Jamil focused on making dinner and Yuu on her desserts. Every so often their hands would brush against each other to grab something and breaking the bubble of their own worlds. It was harder to focuse but eventually they silently worked together.

Jamil was so distracted that he didn't notice his samosa were starting to burn. He panicked when the smoke caused the fire alarm to go off and there was alot of yelling.

Yuu tripped and long story short a bowl of frosting landed on her head. It was a mess.

As mad a she was at first Yuu burst out laughing as Jamil frantic tried to stop the alarm.

" So the new recipe was harder then you thought?" Yuu laughed.

Jamil turned to see her on the ground in her own sorry state and couldn't help laughing himself.

"Speak for yourself. Those buns better be worth it." Jamil said taking a towel to wipe the fosting off Yuu's cheeks.

They were in the end but next time they would be more careful in the kitchen.

☆Malleus☆

Yuu had been concerned for the welfare of the students of Diasomnia after seeing Lilia cook. Whe mix up sugar and salt and didn't preheat the oven. She started a crusade to help the poor souls who had to eat Lilia's food.

It stated with Yuu whining that she made too much pasta last night and it would go to waste but Ruggie was somehow summoned from the ether and happily took it off her hands. Yuu swore that last time Ruggie was at her dorm she had stuffed him like a pig and feed him until he begged her to stop. ( RIP Ruggie, Yuu's grandmother instincts are stronger then Trey's)

After that Yuu would invite Diasomnia members to dinner but the invites got lost or Grim burned them because he didn't want anymore guests.

Yuu's last plan was to leave baked goods in goodie bags around the dorm. Unfortunately cookies and cupcakes popping up at random doesn't make people want to eat them. Unless your one of the more unhinged students on campus. Ruggie, Ace, and Floyd began hunting down the treats. Which lead to a race among students to get as many as they can like a scavenger hunt. Rook took the hunt part too seriously and used the sweets as lures.

Malleus became aware of the the hunt when he found a bag of cookies inside a gargoyles mouth. It had a note inside.

Homemade cookies are sweet to eat

Fun to bake and good to eat

Malleus was fascinated by what he believed to br a human tradition or part of a holiday. He began finding more of the goddie bags and collected each of the poems. He went as asking everyone in the dorm for their bags so he could collect them all.

He boasted about having the biggest collection as he talked about the cute drawings that were written on the papers that were clearly meant for him.

They say life is unfair and I know it's not true

Because I made cupcakes and they are just for you

His curiosity lead him to searching for the bandit that was leaving these treats everywhere.

One night he spotted a figure leaving a brightly colored bag in the mouth of a gargoyle.

"Excuse me?" Malleus called from behind.

The figure jumped in surprise as their basket dropped to the ground.

Malleus bent over to pick it up and tired to apologize to scarring them he looked up the recognized those eyes.

"Good Evening Miss Yuu. I didn't mean to scare you."

"OH, It's only you! I'm glad it wasn't a monster." Yuu sighed in relief.

"Is a monster after you?" Malleus asked concerned now "Perhaps you should walk with me in case it tries to grab you."

"Don't say stuff like that. What if something does show up?" Yuu said bitting her lower lip in worry.

Malleus didn't respond wondering if she forgot who she was talking to.

"What are you doing here. Did you perhaps wish to meet me here to walk it me instead of at your dorm?"

"Oh no, I was just putting more cookies out. I remembered that you always come to this spot during your club activities so I wanted to leave something here for you. Ace and the others keep finding all my other spots. Cater is making it worse because he keeps posting about what spots he's found." Yuu pouted as she slung her basket from her hand to the crook of her elbow.

Malleus was shocked but it melted into warmth as he realized what she was actually doing.

"So you wanted to give these to me?" Malleus asked fondly.

"Yeah, but every plan I make gets interrupted." Yuu said still pouting as she counted her remaining bags.

"Then why don't you just give them to me directly?" Malleus smiled teasingly taking the cookie bag from the gargoyles mouth.

Yuu opened her mouth to respond before immediately shutting it. Her face turned red as she realized how needlessly complicated she had made this.

Malleus laughed at his child of man who came up with the oddest little schemes. She was too cute.

Even the note she left was adorable.

Q: how did yuu make the decision to be reprogrammed by idia if they were an eggman robot?

A: fun fact: metal sonic has freewill! metal sonic is evil by design, but has loyalty to eggman. but he DOES have freewill (better for making decisions in battle). the very concept of metal sonic having freewill opens the floor for the concept of one make of the design going rogue (much like how metal betrayed eggman in heroes) this is how yuu made that decision, because they always had that choice, and eggman has no need to keep a robot that is disloyal to him

Q: what about shadow?

A: contrary to what everyone who has asked me this question believes, the green chaos emerald is not owned by shadow, its not his emerald. people just draw him with the green one all the time 😅 in this au however, it belongs to lilia, and to continue onto other questions regarding lilia and his connection to the chaos emeralds in the au: lilia is old. hes been around. its vague and a bit fuzzy right now but he knows a lot about them.

Q: how do the dorms have the 7 emeralds?

A: this is something i will elaborate more on in the future, but the chaos emeralds get scattered for the sake of the plot all the time in canon! to me it makes sense that i can do the same for the sake of the au :3

So here's the Red Army!! Or Red Legion, or Red ....whatever name they come up with for the day. Don't let the name fool you, they're anything but a serious army. They're just a bunch of idiots trying to take over the world. And failing miserably.

multiple people have mistaken Tord for the leader, because of the horns on the helmet, but it couldn't be further from the truth:

Tord's older brother, almost 40, founder of the army along side Yanov (his and Tord's adopted brother in my hcs lol) and Paul. He seems like a cold blooded leader at first glance, but he really is just as much of a goofball as his brother: he got the idea of creating the army from anime he used to watch as a kid, go figure. He wanted to create a strong group of vigilantes that would bring order to the world!..and he. Kinda failed but it's okay! Yeah, he's a fucking weeb just like Tord. and also a brony, you know. Tord designed his uniform, he specifically wanted it to look as intimidating as possible so enemies could be scared of him. Going as far as adding a voice changer. Also, dont ask him where most of the army funds went. No he wont tell you. no. shut up it's not anime figurines. and he may or may not asked Tord to build robots of their waifus. lord-

Tord is a general! nepotism moment; however, he really couldn't care less about his status, as he just acts like he's the army mechanic/scientist/robot expert, you name it: he hides in his own laboratory, creating robots, weapons, and little robot companions- and waifubots and clonebots. Dont ask him what the clone bots are, but he sure loves scaring Yuu with those: robots that will immediately take their place if something happens to them.

Paul is basically just a grade lower Tord, and he acts like he's the actual general, as Tord is too busy in his own world to even care, and also lets him do whatever he wants. Paul is basically an honorary general and used to be Yanov's co pilot. That's before he broke his arm was deemed unavailable, and then changed his role. Now he's Pat's co pilot. He cried for an entire night after getting the news that he had to be with a newbie. But said newbie quickly warmed up to him, anyway! He's. always. constantly busy. even when he doesn't have a flight programmed, he always has to find a duty to do in the army. Chill a bit, dude.

Yanov USED to be a pilot. One of the most trusted pilots, calm, chill and collected. But also LOVES to witness chaos. He broke his arm in the stupidest way possible (probably falling down the stairs). Just after that, he decided to then step down as a pilot and become a medic. And considering his gentle mannerism and carefulness, maybe that's the best. Aaaand the army needed more medics. He loves his new occupation!

That's where Patryck comes in! He's a novice pilot, freshly recruited from the army. He didn't even actually have a plane driving training, nobody knows how he got in there. (Actually. it was desperation. They NEEDED another pilot and he seemed so eager to accept his role. He asked it himself to become one.) Well, Paul was assigned as his supervisor AND co pilot to his dismay. Like previously said, Paul cried to Yanov and to himself the entire day after the news. Please anyone BUT THE NEWBIE. Nobody knows Yanov made this choice. Despite his...rocky, beginnings. He's a ..somewhat great pilot! You know, despite the montly 4 crashed planes. That's also where most of the funds go. He's forbidden from going anywhere near the weapons depot, especially after he gets energy drinks. It happened once and half of the base exploded. Rocket launchers disappeared. Patryck what dID YOU DO.

Yuu is the uhh.. weapons guy? He's in charge of well. Keep the weapons depot in check. But it's a mystery how he manages to keep this role, as he always ends up letting someone (PAT) blow it up with the bombs in there anyways. He's also a great marksman! incredibly useful unit in battle. It's kinda like Patryck, no one exactly knows how he got there, he's such a scaredy cat, always alerted by anything that happens.

Yuu can be whoever you want! The series implies that Yuu has the same skin color/hair texture as you, but that's mostly just because you end up using a lot of their things.

That being said, Pop has thought of potentially making some spin offs with Pop's Yuu character in Pop's own self-aware AU, which has been in the workshop. I have my own design for them in case I ever feel like drawing, but they will remain customizable. Officially, they have no set appearance...Unofficially though...Pop does have some ideas..

So like this started out as my self-insert and my want of a male yandere character and it just spiralled out of control

I start out designing my yuu from the line Rook said to you when you max his affection levels. It was something like he felt such a thrill with yuu because it was such a comfortable space he wanted to spill everything. he likes the danger so much that he wants to keep coming back

From what I also always know about the MC I felt about MC I feel like he would be someone very open-minded and accommodating. Also because Rook like calling Yuu a trickster(I think you can see which one of the two people is my favs) I also did some research on trickster archetype and i decided my Yuu will also be a shapeshifting human because i can but he cannot use magic otherwise. Since he can really shape shift into anything he really does not care about the society restricted mind set on a lot of things and norms. Also it will play into the dichotomy of his personality. Also i do like to play into the idea in the game story Vil is like a beast tamer some sort by beating all the non human students up(they started it tho) and they just listened to him

but you know i also want him to be a freak

He usually appear as a pigeon or an owl.

The pigeon and the owl is the dichotomy of his character. Pigeon is one of the first avian species to be domesticated by human. sweet and loving and gentle. Until your especially male pigeon imprinted on you then they sometimes get aggressive. The owl is the silent killer of the night. Some people have kept them as pets but tbh they are never really tamed. Like crows and other wild birds. Sometimes people see them as source of knowledge and wisdom and I thought it will go quite well with the theme he like to know things and he is very curious. Owl sometimes can imitate other sounds too

He would be very gentle and affirmative with people. He will forever be there if you want to talk to him if you want to. He will never judge you. However without you knowing he will remember all the interaction and the secret you tell him as well. He will be confidential always until he has some reason to threaten you with or he has some ulterior motive.

LIke you dont touch his hidden Vil stash without his permission that will give him reason to torment you psychologically

His demeanour is very genuine. One thing he do is he will not lie to you but he will speak of half truths. He likes the bond forged but he just like his knowledge better until he have someone he really really really likes. Then the curiosity almost blend with the need to be with them and create an obsession. He will occasionally stalk people in his animal forms to study them.

Rook will always know if the animal is just a shapeshift Yuu always with some weird creepy reason like everytime you transformed into the pigeon the length of the feather stays the same. I think Yuu will be fascinated by this man and they will be stalking buddies in my head canon. Rook will be holding a telescope or something to his eyes while Yuu speed draws and write down everything he sees.

He will be really obedient to the people he like too. He will do anything Rook and Vil asked of him. Even if he gets reprimanded by Vil he will have this happy aura around him. His obedience is not infinite and he is not above betraying the one he loves as long as they can be together. Again, his current obedience does not mean he is really tamed. The two aspects of his personality coexist in him in a very weird way. He is the person who has both

"It is great he see me this way. It is good to have his trust so I can use that in the future to get even closer to him" these types of manipulative thoughts in his mind in the same time.

I thought he will implement advice from Vil to make himself more presentable. He would even put on heels to impress him (just to have Vil say he should find his own identity or something i think) but he does also enjoy heels in some way. like he does not have to look up so much to Vil if he is in his heels. He can admire him more easily like this.

He have a Vil stash with all the drawings he drew of Vil. Some when Vil is sleeping. He drew those when he is on the tree outside of his window.

I do have headcanon he will transform into a white pigeon just to appear in front of Vil's window in the morning. At first he will just admire him quietly because he want Vil to like him. Once Vil start petting the bird he will start to knock on his window very politely to let him in for chest rubs and pets. Vil will not know that was Yuu. but he gets confused sometimes why Yuu show up the morning run with bruises on his forehead(because he sometimes accidentally bump into the window because he was distracted by his queen's beauty. Yes he is a simp like that)

I thought he will also wear gloves all the times like Jade and Rook because in a subtle way he keeps the distance and he want the touch with the person he loves and the stash to be special. All of his nails are perfectly manicured and pedicured just because of Vil's off hand comment about Grim. His talent is speed draw(and i guess shape shift). There is a ongoing joke on the campus, the XYZ animal you see is Yuu. He does not mind people know he can do that but he will hide vulnerable information like if he gets injured in any form he is in he has to stay like that for a while for the injury to heal before he can use the shapeshift thing again. He likes to read, observe, learn, and research about anything but mostly biology and people. He is definitely in the science club but he will help out anything Vil ask him to too. He likes meat and grains as his food and he does not like vegetables too much. He is quite smart but only above mediocre in any lessons because he spent majority of his time stalking and studying about other things. Rather than entirely focusing on his work. He stalks Rook and Vil the most obviously because they are his favourite people.

I kind give him a long hair so one day when his relationship with Vil grew and he asked Vil for a makeover and let Vil cut it short

Overall I like this guy very much and he kind of is too cool for me to self-insert into now but I still like him

Ok so Malleus trapped everyone in an alt reality/dream world where everyone is happy, right?

Ok so what if WHAT IF

The dream worlds have all the child NRC students inside a childhood dream with a fairytale twist to it?

We do have child (silhouette) sprites of most students, esp the overblottees, so WHY NOT get the child reveal??

Also you have to fight the children. 🫡

I want to draw all of the NRC kids/overblot squad with this imagery in mind but since I'm in a Yuu backstory funk, he is the first doodle I did of his own fantasy world.

This is an altered memory of Yuu's with his two best friends— Junji Onigawara and Nana Sakurai— during the Sanja matsuri when he was 10 years old.

Yuu often could only experience festivals as a performer, so being able to spend the last day of Sanja with his only two friends at the time was very meaningful to him.

Junji and Nana are from Yuu's neighborhood and therefore are from lower-income households; Junji being the son of divorced parents and Nana the oldest of 5 siblings in a single-income household. Even though the class disparity was so obvious between the three, they would become life-long friends.

Not being able to do anything to help his friends and family was something that weighed heavily on his mind, and as such, he used to spend the allowance his grandparents gave him on other people instead.

So I think that in this perfect fantasy world Malleus creates, he would give Yuu the chance to splurge and give everyone what they wished for but couldnt have because of money issues; from the pretty kansashi and yukata Nana always gushed about to the overpriced festival food Junji used to drool over.

Looking back, it's a very childish wish to have— thinking he could solve the financial rift between himself and his friends with just one good night, but at least he can dream.

Id like to think his own little fantasy world would be modeled after Momotarō, with Idia + gang being the titular characters while the festival is a version of Onigashima, given I relate each of the kids with a type of Yōkai (Yuu=Kitsune/Floral, Junji=Oni/Water, Nana=Nekomata/Fire).

Nana and Junji would work as mini-bosses for the area, whilst Yuu would be the final boss (which was looking for a "strange-looking cat").

I also think that their fighting styles would be reminiscent of traditional japanese/festival games like Otedama/Temari for Nana, Hanetsuki/Kingyo sukui for Junji and Tohsenkyo/Shateki for Yuu.

I also thought that they'd keep their masks until they're defeated!

I still dont know if I want them to have their grown-up designs for fighting or if I will literally just make Idia beat up some kids but I'll think about that later jdbcfj

Imagine this:

Chernabog!Yuu with Grim as the monster but since Yuu isnt technically twisted from anything, they would not need to depend on Grim to overblot for them to then overblot? They themselves don't get giant because they are human but they can float in such a creepy way like those ghosts on bald mountain and I can imagine they have ink all over their body plus ink dripping on the floor since they dont have a magicstone to hold/control it so it just flows everywhere. This can be an advantage to everyone else since it can affect their eyesight etc. Since Yuu doesn't have powers and in such an extreme position, I feel like they wouldn't be able to have a conscience and wouldn't be able to speak but they would use body language to show that the blot hurts and is causing them migraines or something. Plus,they have a box(inspired by the Pandora's box since it contains evil) to contain the actual Chernabog power but instead of curiosity,they use it to attack them.

Instead of Yuu suddenly lashing out, they kind of slowly get into the overblot. Like how Grim might do it Like they slowly start to act a bit more strangely. More distant, actually feeling unwell due to the manifesting ink and snappier at wither big or small issues. I can imagine the first years getting worried about their behaviour because they think it will go away soon or they don't think a magicless person can actually overblot.I can imagine reader AND Grim having this problem.

But when they overblot, the are dull and have excessive anger at the same time which shocks everyone since they are normally the voice of reason and a lot calmer than even most of the calmer students .They are angry due to the blot,power of evil from the box and at their situation.If you havent seen Night of Bald mountain, this may not make sense but I can imagine Yuu also dancing with Skeletons and ghosts of Ramshackle in a creepy way(their blot influencing them since they dont have a soul/nature) as the ghosts go march around Ramshackle destroying all the mirrors since Yuu has grown paranoid to mirrors due to Mickeys encounter and the dark mirror/basically their history of mirrors arent really the best.

Basically the aim to get Yuu to stop overblotting is to get the box from them and put it back to original place(probably found in the mines) and to calm them down.In the end Grim stops overblotting and joins to fight against Yuu getting them more angry but they have the box taken away from them which makes them a lot easier to beat and they end up stopping the overblot but they pass out due to the blot, ink and magic corrupting them and since they are magicless humans, their body wasn't designed to hold immense power. They reach a coma like state for like 3 days as Grim + person of your choice visit them since Yuu helped them and now they feel like this is how it could be paid back, by actually giving a damn.

I can imagine this being the reason why they have to delay going home(Not like Crowley started 🙄) but also the reason why they start to get less annoyed and the dorm leaders/Jamil would probably have more of soft spot because they both seen each other overblot and know each others problems etc.

I noticed this was very long but I guess I have a big imagination. Hopefully I didnt waster your time and this was actually a good read.😊

I don't know much of chernabog as my family didn't want to show my black sibs some of the racist stuff and makes them feel bad so i don't have much to add about chernabog.

Ok, I have to defend Anonymous on one thing. I'm 4'8" and 35 years old. I've been called pedo bait and shit all my life. But your Yuu... you have an adult version on him. At that point, it's not just "coding" your Yuu IS a child. And you're dawing him in some messed up situations with the tweels... I can see where anon os coming from, and I will agree they were rude. But they do have a point.

Look I'm genuinely sorry that you had to experience that, but that doesnt give you the right to also dictate wat I am or am not doing with my mc n wat they are

First off, if the "adult ver" you're talking bout is the less than 5 doodles or so that I've posted in the past of a fucking au nonetheless, I didnt realize the rules of creating had to be the fucking same even if its a fucking alternate universe n decidedly not canon n that all chars still had to be the same even if its my own mc.

I feel I shouldnt have to clarify but since I apparently do, need I remind you: 1) it is a fucking au once again, 2) Yuu in that au is not even the same fucking age as they are in canon twst world, of course they are going to look different, nvm that my styles are usually inconsistent anyways even with going around diff aus, 3) while Yuu is decidedly older in there, I have never fucking stated their height n your only point of ref with that is only cause the canon cast are literel kids in there which anybody who iSNT a kid would be taller than all of them regardless, 4) did I mention its an au? ? ??

Second, NOWHERE have I stated that Yuu is a child, n have even stated in a prev ask that their age is round first year groups, 15-16. If you're going to claim that my mc is a child due to height n face n overall design, then you are also claiming that Riddle, Epel, n Ortho are also children bc they all are also pretty short n baby-faced n I dont see any of yall bitching bout that now do I. Ortho especially suffers from this n unfortunately is seen n treated as a literal fucking child by practically the entire fucking fandom but since this isnt the main focus of this post, that's another fucking story.

Putting aside those claims, you need to remember that these are also Jade and Floyd. They generally arent nice or perfect in gen, I don't think I need to remind you of how they are in the game. While I like and indulge in soft tweels as much as the next person, they are not "soft blushy uwu romantics" in the first place n I do not always portray them as "soft blushy uwu romantics" 100% of the time, so sorry if that disappoints you.
