Falling in love with Lucy was like falling in love with snow by the campfire. A dance of beauty, treading right upon the brink of warm spine melting beauty. But so she was, light in the darkest of depths, a spark blooming into fireworks. The softest touch of a flower brushing against your cheek, the bite of winter's harshest winds. Lucy was the elements rolled into one gracious and loyal spirit. Flitting between fear, excitement, and passion the path she walked was turbulent and wrought with perilous adventures. Yet her steadfastness and determination knew no bounds. Stealing the hearts of many, gluing together your adopted family, she was never overly proud or self-righteous. It was no wonder her smile and laugh had ingrained themselves upon your soul, inspiring your passion and magic; equally her tears had etched themselves into your fury and blazing anger. Few could escape such a fate when the blonde extended her love and heart to them, you were no exception. Only perhaps neither of you had expected it to turn into the swelling tides of ardor you now held tight to. Standing together face to face, the pink upon her cheeks only made your own heart fall further into the well that was your love for her. The way she fell over her words as you took her hand was too cute for words. If you pray to the stars with all your strength this might blossom into the spring of your romance, much like the blush blooming upon both your cheeks.

If it's alright with you, could do some drabbles/small hcs of the devil butlers who have an aruji-sama who is a long dragon/Chinese dragon? I've been thinking about this concept for a while, I still haven't seen any sort of supernatural MC in this fandom😭 I mean it makes sense since the game MC is supposed to be basically just a self insert of the player, but it would still be nice to see an aruji who's like nonhuman and stuff •w• sorry if I rambled a bit there (T_T)

In my past few works, I wrote about Aruji-sama who's a devil, an angel and a fairy. But an Aruji-sama who's a Chinese dragon? I LOVE YOUR IDEA!!!

I did a lot of searching about the Chinese dragon, here are the sources I used! - Here! (Please let me know if some information is fake or isn't true!) (Also PLEASE tell me if anything I wrote here is offensive in any kind of way! I don't want to accidentally offend anyone here, I want my readers to feel comfortable reading my writing)

Headcanons under the cut!

Eyes

First of all, I'd like to imagine that Aruji-sama has eyes with a gradient of colours and slitted pupils. Colourful eyes are extremely unusual in the Human world, so Aruji-sama has to hide their identity by wearing colour contacts.

Ever since going to the Akuneko world and seeing the butler's MAJESTIC eyes, Aruji-sama probably thought that taking their contacts off would be a good idea...

But even if colourful eyes aren't unusual in that world, slitted eyes sure are!

💍: *sobbing internally from embarrassment* (from my research, apparently Chinese Dragons are shy? Oh my! I suppose we have another case of slightly insecure and shy Aruji-sama, oh no!)

Scales and Tails

Just another note about Aruji-sama's appearance! Once they open up to the butlers, I'd like to think that they'd let their appearance slip through their human looks. From their tail suddenly popping out when they're happy, to showing their canine teeth when they're angry.

Another from this, what if there are scales on Aruji's neck or arms? Poor Flure might have to constantly repair your clothes if they get stuck or even cut by your scales... (Another part of him is excited to make new clothes that won't get damaged, and look natural with your scales!)

Think of it as... those Zhongli (from Genshin Impact) or Dan Heng (from Honkai Star Rail) in their half-dragon forms! That's what I imagine Dragon Aruji-sama to look like!

Fortune and Rain

Last but not least, as Chinese Dragons represent "Good Fortune" and "Strength", I think that Aruji-sama's presence would give extreme luck to every butler in the palace

It can be small, unnoticeable things to unusual and terrifyingly weird events. Like Ammon's roses growing unusually well in bad weather, Nac feeling energized even after he only had a few hours of sleep, and... Haures actually succeeding in making something edible!?

The butlers might freak out (especially because of Haures's case).

And with the power of Google, I have found out that Chinese Dragons are usually associated with water. Occasional rainclouds here and there... oh and nobles slipping on puddles here and there... why is that noble drenched? Wasn't today sunny all day?

yoohoo! it's marga here. for the past few months i've been pondering about whether to push through this but recent personal events had to be the one to decide for me as the country my parents are currently in went under lockdown (they're working abroad). my mother's jobs were halted which is why i wanted to be able to help them (at least to lessen the burden of expenses and bills, especially those that are related to me like school expenditures and such)

so here i am, announcing that i am officially opening my commissions to tend to your requests and that i have opened my own ko-fi page!! this will not change how the blog runs though! i will still continuously publish contents like before (e.g if fate permits updates, some random hc's, more smau's, drabbles, etc.). donations are very much welcome and appreciated but please do not feel forced to do so, make sure that if you do, it is only because you have extra in your pockets, okay?

this post is more directed to those who would want to support my passion in some other ways ^^

PRICE LIST & SCHEDULE

after scanning through different blogs for proper references, i have decided that for every 100 words, i will charge $1— with minimum of 300 words per request, maximum of 5000.

which means, for instance you requested:

⤷ 300 to 500 words - $3 to $5 - 2 to 5 days

⤷ 1000 to 1500 words - $10 to $15 - 8 to 15 days

⤷ 2000 to 2500 words - $20 to $25 - 15 to 25 days

.... so on and so forth

if i get carried away with my writing and exceed the word count requested, don't worry, no charge is added since that is my fault(?) anyway ;)

to summarize it up, the scheduling of commission posting varies depending on the word count and my schedule in school and personal life (esp. when there are emergencies).

you can ask for updates through the contact info i will provide below but please.... do not pressure me into finishing it immediately. asking is different from demanding— writing takes time and effort, remember that. i would appreciate it if you give me the time to make sure that my work is good and worth the payment.

should you want to cancel your commission or if i fail to finish it within a month, rest assured that i will be refunding you 50% of the payment given already (not full though because i would have written down something by then).

1) How many complete fics/one shots do you have that you have not published (yet)?

None, if I finish something up I post it immediately.

2) How many WIPS do you have right now?

3) Do you take writing requests or write original ideas, or both?

I would love to get some requests but I'm not like a super popular or well known fic author yet so I don't think people even go "hey maybe Kelly would be down to write this!" 🤷‍♀️

Uhh, romance generally. I throw in some angst, (attempts) mystery, and action.

Favorite trope to read, hands down, is idiots to lovers. Writing? I'm not too sure if I have a favorite since I'm sort of throwing all the little slips into a hat and pulling them out as I go.

12) What do you do to get motivated to write?

Clean. It's dumb but something about doing general house chores gives me the ability to go "finish this and I can start working on xyz"

13) Is there a trope/genre you like to read, but not write?

None that I can think of, if I read it I can usually find myself dabbling into it.

14) Any characters/fandoms you want to write for that are never requested?

Well I don't get requests so... 🤷‍♀️ But honestly right now I'd just love to see more people ask specific questions about the Iridescence-verse. I'd love to start writing little side stories that I can work into the main plot.

15) How long have you been writing fanfiction?

Technically? Uh, I started when I was about sixteen so that'd be like 15 years ago? But you'll only find the stuff I started posting online back in like 2012 if you do go looking.

16) Did you read fan fiction before you started writing?

Yes, I remember using those proxy websites on the school computers to get around firewalls just to read during 'study hour'

17) Do you only post on Tumblr, or any other sites as well?

I post on AO3 as well, I have an FF.net account but the stories there are either finished or abandoned because I'm not really in the fandom anymore.

18) What do you personally consider the word counts of “Drabble”, “One shots” and “fics”?

Drabbles are, to me, max of 500 words.

One-shots can be a little sketchy, I've read some really long ones up to 70k words so I think it varies on the author.

Fics are just anything that has more than one chapter.

19) Which do you prefer to write more? HC, drabbles, oneshots/fics, multi chapter stories, other?

Multi chapter stories, for sure, I've always been the type to overdetail when I write so drabbles and short pieces are like the bane of my writing existence.

20) Are there any stories you have discontinued? If so, why?

Plenty on FF.net, mainly because I'm no longer in the fandom for it. I had Miraculous Ladybug ficlets I was going to post but the fandom as a whole is WAY too toxic for me to deal with right now.

21) What is one of your main “pet-peeves” as a writer on Tumblr?

Anon hate, for sure, it's not our job as creators to determine what content shows up on someone's dash. Tumblr specifically created a way to filter tags, and most authors I know tag their pieces with everything under the sun to make sure that they don't accidentally appear for someone filtering.

22) Do you write a particular time of day?

No, just whenever I have the inspiration.

23) Do you listen to music, ambiance/noise, etc to write or do you need silence?

Depends on what I'm working on. Can't be any music with lyrics, I get too distracted hearing actual words, so generally it's instrumental pieces or ambient noises if I do have something going.

24) Do you outline your fics at all before writing?

HAHAHAHA. That's funny. Hell no. I give myself a basic plot and then let the story tell itself. I'm a very "flies by the seat of her pants" kind of writer.

25) Do you post your writing as soon as you finish it, or do you schedule it to come out at a specific time/day?

I generally post it immediately, unless I need to review it a few times to make sure I like how it turned out.

🖖 - Do you write for multiple fandoms, is so what are they?

Not at present. When I first started writing fanfiction, I actually wrote for Pokémon (I want to be very clear that those stories were nothing like what I write now in terms of genre X'D). I have also written for Naruto (my first reader insert fics) and I have written a very short drabble for Fairy Tail in the past too.

For now though, I plan to stick to DL when it comes to writing fanfic as it's the series I come up with the most interesting ideas for (plus I've run out of Shin content to consume so I am forced to make it myself). If I ever write for anything other than DL now, I'm actually planning to move into a original fiction rather than fanfic.

🖤 - Least favourite writing trope?

This one is kind of hard for me as generally when a trope bothers me, it's because I don't like how it's being done rather than the trope itself. Case in point, switching POVs can really frustrate me but when it's used well (like in Carry On by Rainbow Rowell), I can enjoy it. Same thing with reader-inserts, now that I'm older I can be very picky with how those are written.

As for a trope I never like, I guess the main one I come across is pwp (p*rn without plot for anyone who doesn't know what that means). It's not that I have anything against well written intimate scenes but I will never deliberately go looking for them as I find them repetitive and honestly kind of boring. I like fiction because it lets you explore new ideas or rehash old ones and pwp fics are not my thing.

👽 - Random fact about an oc?

Seiren is the only OC I have that's ever been featured in writing I've posted here so we'll go with her (I do have others but I doubt I'll ever post about them much if at all).

As for a fact about her: She always has her clothes washed after only one wear, no matter how little time she may have actually had them on for.
