My Darkest Recollections.

A subtle vent in the form of an Edgar Allan Poe inspired short poem, it was something i was told to write in English class today, but it turned out to be really good ngl so I'm posting it here.

!! WARNING, the following piece of literature contains themes of: trauma + suicidal references, genuinly quite dark/bleak topics !!

T'was a bleak midnight, one faithful o' clock,

My insides, hurling themselves,

Through several recollections of my younger epoch.

For the withering reminiscences of my dire early years will,

Forever and always,

Be of cruel Burdens in my fatigued persons.

Burdens,

Oh Blasphemy Burdens,

Ones in which, of bitterly mindly torments,

The constant tumbling, 

Falling Hells upon obsidian steps.

And, with the sudden senses of tumbling,

A wheezing Mistress of stumbling,

My corpse awoke, sudden, an aggravated rising,

Amongst my soul returning within,

A growing senses of yearning.

To now, through the beating of my Hearts,

And through the panting of my Arts,

The realisation; I slipped away, once more, from Its impeccable clasp.

Yet, Only but, for my mind to recollect,

For every Bleakest Midnight, theas to come,

'Till my reminiscences will become the frigid, skeletal grasp,

Of my unforgiving Past, as of, they are,

Forever and always called upon as;

My Darkest Recollections.

The second drawing close-up, to the bottom right, is a mysterious demonic beast, great at combat, and a companion to Francis [my character]. She comes in the form of a great stallion, her name is Cinnamon ... :]

im thinking about doing Duke of Edinburgh - Bronze because it looks good on college/uni + work/job applications as it'd be quite respected at college/uni or in a working environment [since DofE requires commitment and other qualities which are quite useful]. ^^

the teacher who's in charge of DofE at my school will hold an assembly on DofE this term and i think DofE - Bronze expiditions officially start in Spring or/and /gen after December so uhm yee. :]👍

im not sure if im great at camping but i think i'll do just fine tbh [as there was a practice DofE experience which required us to cook + build tents] and i'm not going to be in too much difficulty, its pretty much just walking for kilometers and i already do that on weekends + camping in fields and such so i don't really mind. lol, wish me luck. 🪱 🌱

Mortis Bene Menitas

Curious, Oh, curious my perplextion compear,

An Object designed to diminish,

Heretofore To this fancy I should'st a doubt...

'Hark, Oh, hark', Pleads the humble crow,

In His Mighty tide,

For His cower, perches higher, 

Gliding in such mendacity, fair,

A sorrowful glide,

From here unto there...

Never a show,

Never aglow,

In that His impressions provide,

No more, No less than a sullen glare...

Yet, naturally I ponder, inquire, empere,

To 'What does this Corvus convey?', Hark I,

'What is Its unfeigned edification?

And 'What hadst Him led Him astray?

'If so He hadst an abode, with as dispeir as thy, 

'To what had appeased His confire, Their dismay?'

Not a single symptom of Animosity,

Not another Compare of Patrinomy.

As to Abide entirely, observing,

Through its clouded glasse,

Awhile aspace, interritum, and quaint,

Unwearied, unfelt, unstaid...

Mortis [Bene Menitas]: A short poem generally combining some of my philosophical thoughts and theories [about life, death, etc.] I'm not going to say too much or anything bc if anyone does actually reads these + this, then I'll make it awesome + mysterious for them, even though its probs just 1 viewer :] oh also there's some Latin incorporated in this poem + the title is in fact Latin.

I played a game of chess [+ won] in a toilet cubical at school during assembly and it ended just in time before being late to french class.

I was so worried abt being late bc my french teacher is so nice, but I was right on time before the register. TT Apparently you can get merits for just telling your french teacher abt ur duolingo streak ???

I told her abt my over 200-day streak learning Russian on duoling and she said that I'd get some merits for that, so yay I guess ?? idfk im tired.. TT

[fnaf movie spoilers !!!]

ok so like i see some ppl talking abt the fnaf movie + their oppinions, ive watched it so dont mind if i do...

I honestly think that the environment, effects, animatronics, ect. are amaizing, the vibes are impecable, but, if i could change something abt the movie, it'd probably be some of the story, to be completely honest.

Like, im not 100% hooked on how they gave Vannessa the role of William Afton's daughter, like, i just think that was quite random. also omigod the protagonist's name is litterally Mike, he has a sister, and he had a little brother, omlll, you could've just gave him that role TT

Litterally, i just wish they changed the story a bit into making it abt Micheal Afton instead, not: naming the protagonist 'Mike' and then making Vannessa the daughter of the Man behind the Slaughter. TT TT TT

it just felt rlly out of place tbch...

Another thing i'd maybe change would probs be making the animatronics nice, like, i just wish they were more neutralised and portrayed as more misunderstood, like i sortof found the whole pillow fort they all made together in the pizzeria scene maybe a lil cheesey [hehe get it], like, dont get me wrong, it was sweet, but it just didnt feel like fnaf.

Furthermore, i also don't like how they didnt just flashback to William Afton turning into Springtrap in an earlier time frame or do more flashbacks to him killing the children, making it more accurate. If he got springlocked and then the pizzeria shut down, he couldve just came back from the dead when Mike + Vannessa were adults and it'd just be sicker and more horrifying :D. idk, i just fell like it would've just felt more chronologically acurate to the fnaf lore.

But, overall, the film was quite good, greate jumpscares, not too sucky, but not necesserally RLLY fnaf-like, in my oppinion.

Apparently, Marry Shelley once cut off her thumb in a fit of anger and wrote about the experience. Though, i'm not sure if this is 100% true [my history teacher talked about this], i've tried searching it up and i couldn't find it. But i have heared that she had quite a lot of tragedies in her lifetime and that she was mentally unwell so it could be true ? i don't know, lol, i love Frankenstien though, i own the book. :]

Sometimes, I get quite overwhelmed on the thought of time, y'know ? Like, sometimes, I'd wonder how long or short days would feel on other planets since other planets in our solar system don't have 24 hour-long days as does our planet. Although, I think after a while, I'd miss how days work on Earth, as i'm used to it..

some [maybe] usefull tips for those who play D&D / Baldur's Gate iii:

Strategy: If you have the choice to walk into battle, I would suggest to let your short-ranged character go in first as this reduces the time taken for them to get close enough to attack their target.

Stupidity: I'm not even sure if this works but in BG3, when an enemy is going to attack, I just spam the X button [on PS5] which pretty much always enables my character to dodge the attack, but maybe its just because my main character is good at dodging + has a good stealth/survival/athletics modifier.

Logically Speaking,: If you get to a difficult quest [particularly in BG3 ?] in which you have been defeated multiple times, I highly suggest you complete other side quests to level up. For example: I got really stuck on Karlach's request to kill the Paladins of Tyr with her, since they are quite strong, so right now I am trying to complete another quest/s to explore around the Blighted Village where goblins camp which has something to do with the Emerald Grove where druids are. After I level up once or twice, I will come back to the Paladins of Tyr to complete Karlach's request because I love her and she is my female husband.
