☾ Pairing: Fem! Malleus x Fem! Reader

☾ Date Prompt 4: Pumpkin Patch

☾ Notes: This request has too much power so I ended up doing headcanons because I got a lot of ideas. I'm so happy you requested fem!twst because no one else has, anon! It was a powerful one.

✦ Fem!Malleus goes along with your plan to go to a pumpkin patch. Briar Valley does have these but she’s never been to one herself. So, when you suggest this as your date for the weekend, she’s very excited to go.

✦ I imagine matching outfits with her because it would be cute and why not. I could see her wearing a long dress with puff sleeves and a straw hat and if you don’t wanna wear the same thing, at the very least the color scheme will match which will be up to you two.

✦ Before getting there, she assumed that it would just be a bunch of humans looking through pumpkins and bringing some home. While she wasn’t entirely wrong, Malleus didn’t expect to see hay rides, some food stalls, and a corn maze to top it all off.

✦ Although her face is blank, her eyes are pretty much sparkling, especially at the pumpkin patch. She really wants to pick out a pumpkin with you but she also wants to check out everything else. Since she knows nothing about this, she lets you lead her around, making sure to keep you close by either holding your hand or keeping an arm around your shoulder because wow, there are a lot more people than she thought would be here. Plus, she doesn’t want you to get hurt by all the children running about.

✦ First stop was the corn maze and she got you through it pretty easily. How? I don’t know other than the fact that I’m sure she’s good at mazes. Who’s to say she didn’t explore abandoned mazes as well and just got good going through them? Not me, but I can make a headcanon out of it. But she did like how peaceful it was as the two of you walked through, and she may or may not have stolen a kiss or two whenever you were trying to determine which way to go.

✦ Food stalls were next and all she got was some apple juice the farm was selling since she wasn’t that hungry. She did end up getting some donuts to share with Lilia, Silver, and Sebek. She’s literally paying for anything you want because nothing is too expensive for you, eat to your heart’s content. Do you want to bring some home? Okay, she’ll pay for it as well. Don’t even bother trying to because she straight up just poofs the money into the vendor’s hand before you could even pull out your wallet.

✦ When the two of you finally head to the pumpkin patch to get your pumpkins, Malleus is inspecting nearly every single pumpkin wanting to know which one to bring home. She remembers you saying that you’re getting pumpkins to do some pumpkin carving, so she’s asking nearly everyone what makes a good pumpkin. Most end up being in awe or scared of her because tall, pretty woman asking questions.

✦ She’s towering over almost everyone here which is pretty intimidating and not to mention, the fucking Princess of Briar Valley. She gets kind of pouty when no one really answers her questions until a nice elderly couple exploring approach her and help her pick out a pumpkin. Malleus is very happy when they do so and tells them she’s in their debt, which they laugh off because it’s literally just pumpkins but she would be so happy that someone approached her and helped.

✦ She gets five pumpkins; one to carve with you, one for Lilia, one for Silver, one for Sebek, and one she can carve on her own. And no, she doesn’t carry all of these pumpkins including the food she got for them. She just teleports it to Diasomnia since she doesn’t want you to carry it on top of your own things but it’s in her room so the rest don’t find out. She wants to present it to her Diasomnia family when she gets back because Malleus also wants to tell them about her adventures with you at the pumpkin patch.

✦ Oh! And while you’re waiting in line to pay for your pumpkins, she’s eyeing some scarecrow plushies and notices you looking at them as well. She buys them. You guys have matching plushies to commemorate your date and the first time she went to a pumpkin patch now. Congratulations. I’m jealous.

✦ Unfortunately, because of the long line, the farm is already closing for the day by the time you pay for your things. She’s a little sad but brightens up again when you tell her that you guys could come again the next weekend.

✦ Malleus would, overall, have such a fun time looking at all the food and activities since she’s never been to one and she’s with you! When the two of you part ways and she’s back in Diasomnia, Lilia ends up texting you thank you for taking her young mistress out because now she’s raving about it, even if it doesn’t look like it. She really hopes that you guys go back and it becomes a yearly tradition because she had a lot of fun.

Friendly reminders to cis fanfic writers that afab≠woman

Afab means assigned female at birth so this includes/can include cis women, trans men, transmasc people, nonbinary people, and intersex people.

If you’re making a fic where the reader is a woman, uses she/her, wears feminine clothing, etc. tag it as fem reader instead.

I’ve been smacked in the face as a trans man by reading fics tagged afab thinking it will be gender neutral, but the reader is actually a woman and I’m disappointed because I was ready for a fic I thought would apply to me.

Riddle Rosehearts coming to terms with the fact that she is indeed a lesbian once she realizes that she likes you. She has a slight panic attack due to the fact that her mom has always raised her with the belief that men and women can only be romantically involved with each other, despite it not being true at all. A gay in denial but once she does come to terms with that, she devises a way to confess her feelings to you with the help of Trey and Cater. Unfortunately, those plans go to dust once you ask if she likes girls and, after a very awkward conversation with a strawberry red Riddle, she finds herself being your girlfriend. Guess that rose garden date can wait another time.

Malleus Draconia who mostly pins for you from afar, wondering if you are a fellow homosexual. She remembers Lilia telling her to just go for it and to shoot her shot but she ends up getting advice from Cater by accident. Cater tells her to ask if you listen to Girl in Red or if you like Doc Martens and although she’s a little confused about why she would ask those things, Malleus goes along with it and if you say yes to any of those, she’s ecstatic. Cater said that it means that you must like girls too, right? Let’s hope that you know some Fae courting rituals then

Deuce Spade who cannot look at you in the eye once she realizes she fell in love with one of her best friends. She’s absolutely red and is tripping over herself to not reveal her crush to you yet. It’s embarrassing to her and since it seems pretty obvious that she does like you, Ace and Epel are teasing her to death while Jack and Sebek are over it. Grim doesn’t care but if Deuce does ask her out, the cat demands tuna in return for borrowing the henchman. If you do like her back, then you would have to be the one to confess first because she’s just a mess around you.

Leona Kingscholar demanding that you sleep and cuddle with her because it’s your fault that she can’t sleep without you now. It doesn’t matter if it’s the botanical gardens or in her bedroom, she needs you there now to let her take her needed naps. Surely you can do this for her considering you made her dependent on you. If you’re not there, Ruggie is pleading with you to find Leona and let her lay her head on your lap or chest or anything, just make her have a decent nap for once. When you find Leona sleeping in her room, cuddling a pillow to her chest, you smile as you hear her mutter your name followed by a soft I love you. Maybe you should ask her out tomorrow.
