Princess Acorn: There are so many prototype versions of the character who would go on to become Sally Acorn, but this one is the most interesting to me, since she was from a cancelled cartoon. The cartoon would go on to be recycled into Sonic SatAM, but all of the characters shown here would either be largely changed or scrapped completely. We only know about this prototype cartoon because a British comic published images from it back when it was believed to be upcoming and over the years a few more development images have surfaced, but there's still a lot that's unknown about it.

Spider-Girl: We know little information about her, not even if she had a name, but there was a spider girl who was going to be included in Sonic Adventure and even seemed to have a 3D model, but was cut somewhere in development

Fly the Bat: Another cut character from the Sonic Adventure development. It seems there was more concept art of him than Spider-Girl and he even had a name, but doesn't seem to have a 3D model. Cut because they were worried his pig-nose would be too unappealing to children. We would get a completely different bat character in Sonic Adventure 2, Rouge the Bat, but it doesn't seem they have any connection

Madonna: Before the game was released, Sonic was originally pitched to have a blonde human girlfriend called Madonna, but she was scrapped during development. There are two different claims for why this was: One being that they believed the character wouldn't appeal to western audiences and the other being that they didn't want to have a damsel in distress character, although lately some of her traits would be passed onto Amy Rose. Madonna has no connection to Princess Elise, the human love interest who Sonic would be given many years later in Sonic 06.

Tiara: Tiara was going to be a main character in the cancelled game Sonic X-Treme, but it was, well, cancelled and Tiara went along with it. In fact, she was cancelled twice, as the game was originally going to be Sonic Mars and feature a story more directly linked to the Sonic SatAM cartoon of the time. But then Sonic Mars became Sonic X-Treme, with a different plot and intended to be released on a different console, until this too was crashed. Beyond "slipped her under the radar" cameos in spin-off media such as comics, Tiara never appeared officially after this, but we know a lot about her and the game's development, because her creator Chris Senn seems fond of her.

Tangle the Hare: The character Tangle the Lemur was originally going to be a Hare and we have some concept art for what she would've looked like before her design was changed in development.

Inigo Cortez: A character who was set to appear in the Archie Sonic Comics, but the comics were cancelled prior to reaching the issue he would've appeared in. We do know a lot about him because that issue was entirely scripted and inked at the time of the cancellation and fans have been able to recover the finished comic pages

The top 2-3 characters will move up to the tournament proper.

A one sided crack ship I suddenly got in my delirious hungry state, and need to throw it up so here you go

Joker x Danny

But its JOKER whose one sided feelings for Danny who is really trying his best to ignore this weird clown mf

I was thinking that it could either be actual ‘oh no I have a crush on this guy’ OR Joker being liminal enough and ghostly enough to sense the otherworldliness of Danny Fenton. An otherness that Joker just wants. Like a hungry, starved beast that had finally found a proper meal instead of the bone scraps he’s been trying to scrap off of Batman.

He doesn’t even realize what it is he wants either, only that he wants to pull Danny’s skin back and nestle inside.

Danny on the other hand knows, he’s gone through a few ghostly sessions to understand that Joker is starved, and empty, and already half mad from hunger that he is willing to try and grab a fully loaded half ghost that could still kick his ass.

I just like the idea of everyone’s horror pov of the Joker trying to attract this one civilian guy and Danny just being annoyed by this one scraggly alley cat trying to gnaw on his arm.

Little Danny's Big Adventure

New idea.

Okay now hear me out.

-Pulls out AU idea cauldron and tosses stuff into it-

Let's put in some Ghost King/Prince Danny.... But also some deaged to toddlerhood Danny that gets yeeted into the DCverse!

Like imagine, tiny baby Danny with his tiny crown of ice floating above his head and his galaxy cape wrapped around him and uses it like a baby blanket. He didn't mean to fall into a different universe, a natural portal opened up and he was being a curious little thing! He didn't mean to trip and fall in during his nap time.

Nor was he expecting to fall into this realm during a rogue attack and knock out said rogue cause they were being a meanie and harming people and now Danny just wants his nap time cause he spent a lot of his tiny engery and he wants to find a nice spot.

Danny finds a place to crash, snuggling himself into his cape and the astronaut bear Danielle got him during her last visit that he takes everywhere since.

He's out like a light as the door to this safe house that belongs to one of the Bats opens up.

Meanwhile. In the Infinite Realms, Queen Regent Jazz is going into Mama Bear Jazz Mode trying to find her deaged brother, keeping the Realms in check, and is resisting the urge to put CW in time out Soup Time because he's being cyptided again about Danny whereabouts!!! UGH!
