No Nocturne it is. Just more woke garbage incoming with warped history on French revolution. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
youtube
Never trust Netflix with anything. Or Disney. The entire Hollywood.
We wonder why Japanese animation studios never considered making cartoon on CV till now. Because they should. They should have. So that Netflix couldnot get the opportunity to ruin the characters with woke identity politics and bullshitery writing.
This franchise CV had the worst luck going into the hands of world's biggest woke spreading machine. A system that deliberately offends different diaspora of people with false diversity, offends different religious sentiments on purpose, not just Christianity or Judaism but Islam too and promotes rainbow, spreads false information about whatever they lay their hands on and lies in the name of inclusivity,in the name of so called representation and erasing factual data, disrespecting original makers, cultures, history, traditions, people and what not...all with one purpose.
Their specific agenda is to bring down traditions, decency and morality, to cause chaos and confusion in people and youth, to rift apart men and women further. Yes. To promote things which go against family. Which go against decency or morality. They hate it openly. They spread their values through their work. The proof is in every one of their work.
It does not take one to be alt right or Christian or white from a certain country or even follow politics to see through fitna and bullshitery of Hollywood and its recent increased corruption from far left. Backed by perverse and corrupt activists, funds from corrupt ngos and false websites spewing foul info, the agenda keeps going onwards. Any idiot with common sense sitting on an island, understands the purposes. They are shameless about it all.
Before 2010 and distant past, this machine was covert and subtle in spreading shit. Now, the machine is overt in its work. We tend to think that they are offending us fans with all the changing of source materials now but if you go through several works of fiction and non fiction of past, you will see that the same kind of bullshitery happened in the previous works as well. It was less noticeable because like we said, they were subtle and very covert about things earlier. The difference now is that they are out in the open. They have a script that they will run in each of their product.

Biden dropping out has been, no joke, the best thing for the Democratic Party in years.
I haven't felt this sort of excitement in electoral politics since Bernie's 2015/2016 campaign. I genuinely do not believe that the Dems have had anything this good happen for them since Obergefell v. Hodges in 2015.
After weeks, months! of Biden fumbling so fucking much (student protests for a ceasefire in Gaza, god-awful debate, etc), to drop out and suddenly . . .
the main Democratic candidate is now a charismatic woman of color who called for a ceasefire in Gaza
a category 5 storm of memes about the biggest album of the year in pop music and pop culture and Kamala Harris
the Republican VP pick generally being an off-putting grifter weirdo
a rumor about aforementioned VP pick having sex with a couch starts to pick up traction
a genuinely exciting search for the Democratic VP slot
Minnesota governor Tim Walz (correctly) calls Trump and Trumpian Republicans “weird”
Harris picks Tim Walz, a middle class, ex-military, former public school teacher who coached his school's football team and sponsored the gay-straight alliance, now a pro-union Democrat attack dog (which I have never seen on a Democratic ticket as long as I have been alive) to be her running mate
he makes a JD Vance couch joke in his first speech as Harris’ VP pick!
How absolutely perfect is this? I have never seen this energy and excitement in electoral politics (save for MAGA-types [but they're a cult]) in my life. This is potentially a godsend for the Democratic party.
Moreover, I genuinely think this could make conditions for pushing for more progressive and left-leaning policies at all levels of government in the U.S. possible.

I realized my disconnect when it comes to talking about one piece, and why I always say I like talking to dudebros more even if they're the worst... Is, I like to analyze literature. I like to analyze the source material and the canonic information. Shipping and stuff is for fun but I see it separately. The intersect bc canon inspires fanon but fanon CANNOT change canon.. I don't mix the two things especially not when I'm doing analysis... So I'll say things that are factual and ppl who are stuck in their headcanons or personal biases will think I'm saying something bad. What I'm saying isn't good or bad. It's not judgmental of the character I'm talking about. Nor is it a bias bc I like them/dislike them. I'm analyzing odas writing and his intentions as an author and what he's trying to say and portray. Most ppl online are too caught up in headcanons and personal bias while having no media comprehension and they think that I'm attacking their made up fanon stuff..... Noooo..... You're over there playing pretend and I'm over here doing analysis. We are not doing remotely near the same activity. They don't always need to intersect. Anyways it's hard to have genuine analytical conversations with ppl fully indulged in fandom and fanon. The only group of ppl who doesn't do that are dudebros but also... They get hung up on other stuff that doesn't matter too. Idkkkkkkkkk.

you literally made me start tearing up with your tags about hawk, like for some reason I had never thought about how in the end he got what he always wanted working abroad and for what? He’s completely alone
LITERALLY he spent his whole life pursuing this empty dream only to finally get it and have it mean NOTHING. he got what he wanted. hes alone now he can fuck whoever he wants and its just as empty as its always been. he could never commit to anything in his life except for this dream; not to tim and certainly not to his family. he lived a half-life expecting he would one day get to do whatever the hell he wants but instead he ended up old, friendless, and depressed beyond belief like i cant help but feel bad for him despite EVERYTHING hes done to make me feel otherwise because. idk the hubris of it all. expecting the things that satisfied you in your 20s to still be what you want when youre 70. something about spending 30 years on one dream, staying still while everyone keeps moving and keeps changing. hawk got the life he always wanted and, like always, only realized what he really wanted when it was too late

Of course there were protests in several cities also today against the horrible conditions for retirees under Iran's theocracy, as there are every day now and as have been ongoing for several years, while the pensioners literally can't afford to put decent food on their tables.
Here's one arbitrary video from today out of many, via JinHA, the Women's News Agency.
That particular one was with/for retired teachers in Kermanshah, western Iran.

the shame of being intentionally closeted is that sometimes someone says homophobic and you just want to go "in FACT here is my lived experience on the matter fuck you" but you CAN'T bc you're closeted for REASONS and you just have to be like "mhm sure definitely not invalidating my experiences here no sir"

to be completely fair a lot of this is coming from a place of pettiness because a bitch is tired of seeing his faves shit on constantly but i do seriously think there’s a correlation between people who refuse to engage with characters labeled as “bad” or “irredeemable” in a sympathetic or compassionate way (or, well, fucking at all really but those ways especially) and the growing rise of christian fundamentalist ideas about forgiveness and redemption that have been gaining a disturbing amount of traction in leftist spaces

I hate word limits so I'm gonna make my own post about this instead of rambling in replies:
The far right fascists that want to commit genocide have existed before Trump and they will continue to exist without trump. Your job isn't to vote blue and relax. Likewise, those who disagree and don't want to vote aren't your enemy, no matter how much you may disagree. Likewise again, those who say you have to vote aren't your enemy even if you think that's coming from a place of ignorance. We need to be united here, we need to be stronger than the already united far right in order to stop them.
And to do that? We really need to look at ourselves and remember who we are; we are all people, from all walks of life, whose lives we cannot judge and make assumptions about. People from all over, no matter where they're from or how they've lived, can have an opinion you really don't like. Even so, if you both want to fight fascism, they must be an ally and you need to learn to tolerate the fact not everyone is going to agree with you if you want long lasting change and to actually get into activism. Yelling at other leftists online isn't going to solve systematic issues caused by far right racists who are okay with killing either one of you. An enemy of your enemy is your friend in a fight for survival and I think, especially online, many leftists forget this.
So remember; Trump isn't the be all and end all of your activism, it should be deeper than that and we all need to collectively come together if we don't want to all freaking die. This isn't about "well you're selfish and don't care if you don't do activism this way or that way" it's about learning to do what you can and let people do what they can, despite your differences, because either way we won't survive this if we're all divided.

The “don’t vote” left’s point is basically that, if Biden gets a second term, it’ll basically signal that “They’ll vote for us as long as we’re not Republicans, why don’t we do some REAL fucked up shit, if we can get away with it?” It takes the power out of the people’s hands and places it firmly in the party’s.
I can’t completely disagree with that, my caveat is that there’s no real alternative system or party in place, because top-down change is ineffective; a third party president has to contend with a two party congress.
Except no. This whole "Biden just wants to do as much fucked up shit as possible while not being a Republican, and if you give him a second term he'll do more fucked up shit deliberately to spite you" mindset is only possible as an interpretation if you a) deliberately and comprehensively ignore everything he has done to date, and b) you approach the situation with the maximum bad faith possible. Not to mention, the ultimate outcome of this Big Important Teaching Biden A Lesson is that Trump gets back into power and makes everything orders of magnitude worse, because he does in fact want to deliberately do evil shit to everyone and says so at every opportunity. There is not some magical happy alternative that springs into existence by not voting. If you choose this as a year to Teach Biden A Lesson, you are enabling Trump. Trump will be much, much worse. If you don't care about that, I still do not care what your Great Ideology is. You are not helping anyone and you are directly and irreversibly hurting everyone.
I made a post a few days ago wherein I mentioned that I want to assess Biden fairly, taking into account both strengths and weaknesses, but the rampant bad-faith, lying, misreading, misrepresentation, and open sabotage of him (especially by the online left; the GOP sometimes only wishes they were as good at turning Biden's voter pool against him) makes it really difficult to do that. My frustration with those people makes me just want to go "BIDEN IS GREAT THE END." I know he is a flawed old man (though by literally every account of a career spent in public service, he really does care about making the world a better place and any remotely good faith reading of his accomplishments thus far can see that). It is also very likely that he goes MORE left in a second term because he won't have to face the electorate again, he has always gone more left when pushed before, and he's not actually the scheming genocidal mastermind that leftist social media paints him as. Shocking, I know.
I know there are things in the world we don't like and don't want and want to stop, and therefore we blame our own president for not making it stop. But I have zero, no, none, absolutely none whatsoever sympathy for this pseudo-populist "WE NEED TO TEACH BIDEN A LESSON BY ELECTING TRUMP AGAIN, I AM VERY MORAL MUCH ACTIVIST" mindset. There's this funny thing about America wherein it is still (for now) a democracy. If Biden wins a second term, he can't run again. I would take literally anything these people said more seriously if they focused on developing their dream progressive successor for 2028 (and also figured out how to get that person elected and in a place to make real change) rather than cynically sabotaging Biden in the most consequential election year, again, of our lifetimes. If you don't like him now, find a way to make his successor a better option. Throwing a toddler tantrum and handing the country back to a senile, deranged, fascist, revenge-riddled, theocratic Trump HELPS. NOBODY. I still don't know how many times I'm going to have to say that, but yeah.

Genuinely though, fuck Somerton for calling gay men who survived the AIDs epidemic "the borning ones." You call yourself an activist, yet you spit in the face of those who died so you could spread your plagiarism and your shitty opinions on the internet.
Those "boring ones" went on to memorialize the people they lost. We know their names because of the people who survived and the legacies their loved ones left behind. Fuck you for mocking that history.

Israel doesn't want to repopulate Gaza, you loveable dummy
Seriously, find one Israeli on this site who'll say otherwise. And no, quoting Ben Gvir doesn't count (assuming you even know who that is) anymore than quoting, say, Rudy Giuliani would count for anything, even though he supposedly spoke for the president of the USA for a time.
Hamas has 136 hostages. Including women, and actual literal babies, assuming they're still alive, that is. This could all have ended weeks ago if they'd fucking returned them. Israeli society would physically march on Benjamin Netanyahu's home and remove him in a coup if the hostages were returned tonight. But as long as they have Israeli people, and are unwilling to negotiate their return, that's an ongoing war crime. Is Israel evil for being a bull in a China shop trying to get back a "mere" 136 innocent civilians? Maybe. But Hamas started this and they can end it, they just don't want to. Please, justify that.
Hello, since you asked for one Israeli, here, I'll give you multiple statements:
Hundreds of activists at an Ashdod gathering in late November called for the reestablishing of Jewish settlements. “Let it be known that you support the appeal to renew Jewish settlement throughout all of the Gaza Strip. The nation is waiting for you”— Yossi Dagan, head of the Samaria Regional Council.
Israel “should fully occupy the Gaza Strip”— Heritage Minister Amichai Eliyahu, of the far-right Otzma Yehudit party.
An Israeli real estate firm pushes to build settlements for Israelis in Gaza. “Wake up, a beach house is not a dream” reads the ad.
Tumblr media
Israeli Knesset member Limor Son Har Melech posted a video of herself in a boat with other settlers off the coast of Gaza. “Settlement in every part of the Gaza Strip … A large, extensive settlement without fear, without hesitation, without humiliation. This land is the land that the creator of the world gave to us.”
Israeli Settler, Daniella Weiss says Palestinians who live in Gaza, have no right to stay in Gaza.
An Israeli soldier saying that Israelis should start “investing” in Khan Younis.
Also why would the words of Ben Gvir not count? He is an elected minister, his words hold weight and they expose Israel’s clear intent to make Gaza inhabitable for Palestinians so that Israelis could settle in there— by destroying the infrastructures, making the health system collapse entirely, bombing entire residential neighborhood, Israel is trying to ensure that Palestinians wouldn't be able to return back to their land, because there is nothing livable left there.
And I'm glad you bring up all of this ending if the hostages were returned— Hamas tried to strike up a deal for the return of ALL the hostages, in exchange of the release of all Palestinian prisoners. Israel refused. You know why? Because this has never been about hostages and their safety for Israel.
There is a reason why Israel shot its own hostages when it mistook them for Palestinian civilians, waving a white cloth. There is a reason why the IDF called to shoot indiscriminately on Oct. 7, knowing that it could kill some of the hostages too. Because Israel wants to kill Palestinians, to "thin out its population" (or maybe we shouldn't take into account the says and actions of Netanyahu too ://). This is why it targets schools and mosques and hospitals and ambulances and refugee camps. Israel knows that if it does get all its hostages back, then there would be nothing to “justify” its genocide in Gaza (although, as UN Secretary-General said : "Nothing can justify the collective punishment of the Palestinian people. The humanitarian situation in Gaza is beyond words")
Israel is the only reason why the hostages aren't fred yet. THEY are unwilling to negotiate the return because they don't want to stop this genocide. What good is a five days ceasefire only for the bombings to return? Do you even realize how psychologically traumatizing it is to have a countdown of when your massacre would resume? The only acceptable deal is for Israel to establish a permanent ceasefire, something that it refuses to do. The only one to blame is Israel.
And you say Israelis would instigate a coup to oust Netanyahu, that's nice, then what? Will you return the land to its rightful people? Will you give back Palestinians their rights unequivocally? Will you call for the dismantlement of Israel that was built on massacres? The reason why Israelis are angry at Netanyahu is rooted in the unresolved hostage situation. Just because you don't support Netanyahu doesn't mean that you aren't a zionist who finds the murder of more than twenty thousands Palestinians justifiable. A young girl had her leg amputated with no anesthesia on the kitchen counter of her home and you talk about “Israel being a bull in a China shop”? You consider the targeted attacks on civilians as careless actions by Israel? It actually astonishes me how inhumane some of you can be.
And here is what Dr. Refaat, who was targeted and murdered by the IDF btw, had to say about this matter:
Tumblr media
Whether it's Netanyahu or someone else, it does not matter because Israel as a whole is an occupation, one built on the bloodshed of palestinians.
And it is funny how you choose to distort history whichever way you like it, to regard October 7th as an isolated instance that happened out of the blue. Hamas didn't start anything, Hamas was created in response to the indiscriminate and careless shooting of palestinian civilians in the first Intifada, that was decades ago. October 7th was a resistance to an ongoing colonization, Israel started this when it displaced and murdered palestinians on 1948. None of this would've happened if Israel did not colonize Palestine. It has been 100 days of this ongoing genocide, wake up and stop deluding yourself into a reality where Israel is the victim.

[Image description: A photograph of a page from a spiral-bound sketchbook. The page has an illustration of the covid-19 virus and overlaid text that reads, "If I die of Covid-19 - forget burial - just drop my body on the steps of the C.D.C." A caption on the bottom of the page reads, "Ren Basel 2024. In memory of David Wojnarowicz and everyone killed by AIDS, COVID-19, and the government's negligence. Fight back!" End description.]
In 1988, AIDS activist David Wojnarowicz was photographed in a now-famous image, wearing a jacket that read, "If I die of AIDS - forget burial - just drop my body on the steps of the F.D.A.." I am far from the only person to adapt Wojnarowicz's words to COVID-19, but today I am feeling especially angry at the world. Holding the rage in my chest hurts--it hurts so fucking much--so instead, I've put it on paper.
Living through government negligence and community indifference during COVID-19 in 2024 fills me with rage and grief in equal measure, and as a queer person who studies queer history, I can see the echoes of AIDS in the way marginalized communities are being left to die.
As a disabled person who lives in a household that is very high-risk for COVID-19, the C.D.C.'s recent decision to shorten the COVID-19 isolation period feels like a slap in the face.
COVID-19 is not over, and it is vital to take steps to protect yourself and others. Please, follow the work of the People's CDC, an organization dedicated to COVID-19 safety, activism, and education.
Our government has failed us. Our communities have failed us. For those of us who are immunocompromosed or otherwise high-risk, we only have each other.
Remember us. Fight with us. Mask up, get vaccinated, get boosted.
Please.
