The same way as the books, but they were slightly younger instead, like Damian was 10 1/2 and Jon was 9 1/2. Currently in my canon, Damian is now 12 and Jon is 11

It's pretty similar to how they used to do it when they were just best friends, but the only difference is that there are plenty of snuck in flirts thrown into it now lol and ends with some kind of affection or them playfully trying to hit eachother. Their love for eachother is too disgustingly cute and it grosses everyone out lmaoooo. It makes them wonder if their old constant fighting was better before this lol/jk

3: how do they cuddle?

Hmmm, the regular position usually. Jon is also the big spoon and initiates them a lot. He is always ready to grab Damian into one lol, even in his sleep, and he doesn't let go so easily when passed out

Despite being annoyed with it way back in the beginning of their friendship, Damian has grown used to them overtime ofc and now loves being in Jon's arms. Sometimes he even initiates them himself too when he's had a bad or long day and just wants peace and comfort to destress and get away from it all in his head, and his boyfriend is the biggest go to for all of that

Sometimes one of them sleeps on top of the other, while the other wraps an arm over them while also playing with their hair. Whenever Jon is laying on Damian, he's listening to his boyfriend's heartbeat, which is his favorite sound out of all things hehe

Other times they just come back from patrol and fall on top of one another and end up in a messy cuddle in their sleep lmao

Yes, they all stayed the same for my universe, but that only goes for the og books, nothing after those like the age up and Jon solos for example are canon in it. The only thing I would change up though is the way Talia was written, but that's it. What I would rewrite entirely is the after books to fit my version of my universe better, which I already already have kind of done actually lol

5: who is their arch nemesis? Both together and separate

Hmm well, I saw your ask about Jon and a villian Peacock Boy/Man lol and I think it's a very clever and cool idea you came up with, so that's who I pick for him (I haven't answered it yet btw because I have a design that I wanted to put with it lol, so dw). I'm thinking it could be a creepy man who represents Peacocks as something more terrifying then what they are (to Jon at least lol) and happily uses Jon's fear to his advantage as much as he can to overpower him and win in fights between them. But overtime, Jon being forced to deal with this villian a lot of the time only helps him to unexpectedly become stronger against his big phobia so much better, helping him grow the courage to really start kicking this dudes butt and show him who's really boss. But the guy ofc always comes up with new ways to get back at Jon once again until next time, since he is so used to the good old pattern of messing with him as a victim before he learned to finally stand up to him properly, so with this, they still stay arch nemesis no matter what

And then for Damian, hmmmmmm, I got this on the spot tbh, but maybe someone who is just as skilled as him in combat, but with different techniques ofc, and they also have the ability to control the minds of animals they kidnap and makes them commit crimes for them (I'm thinking it should be a girl) and Damian is ofc very against it since he's an animal lover. I have don't have further details to go into rn, but I think it works well as something😅

And then for together, mmmmmm, I feel like this maybe needs more thought since I can't think of much rn, so I'll probably have an idea next time if that's alright

ROBBIES TURN yes I am posting his the day right after Gabes yes i have lost sleep doing this.

When Robbie has been hurt enough the mold that makes him up essentially goes 'ok yeah no theres no point in even trying to look human all our energy is going towards survival rn'. It consumes the places that have had the most damage in the past (primarily the arms and his torso but his previously cut off leg is getting some fun bullshit too). His thought process gets sort of foggy?? I think thats the best way to describe it. His brain sort of narrows down to 'KEEP SAFE' and 'KEEP BAD THINGS AWAY' the bad things usually being MOST THINGS THAT MOVE (Gabe is completely classified in the 'keep safe' catagory. Lisa.... is on thin ice but they're on pretty good terms at this point. As long as she doesen't attack him outright she's probably good).

Theres a bit of a sliding scale for 'how much damage' corrisponds to 'how much decay / mental fog' and Im gonna start working on it soon. There is a slight middle ground where the moldyness is very apparent but Robbie is also mentally aware enough to recognize it and its a VERY BAD TIME FOR HIM. He cant really feel much in his hands when they're like that (the mold isnt mimicing nerves the same way because they want to protect him from pain to keep him moving) its like when your hand goes to sleep and it buzzes. It's like trying to flutter your fingers through water. You can do it without much issue but theres still just a little resistance. Also I think that 'disliking being confronted with your own deadness' is something that he and cannon Robbie share. Cant freak out about your problems if you refuse to acknowledge them! (<- he will inevitably suffer for this)

Also having a fun time thinking about how disconnected he would feel from his own hands. Theres no way they're his they don't LOOK like his hands or FEEL like his hands but they move when he tells them to so they HAVE to be.

Luckily I was actually able to find a PERFECT voice reference for the sort of garbled-choked-wheezing-thing-waiting-in-the-dark-for-you I was envisioning for sufficiently hurt Robbie (being impaled in this example isn't helping either)

Literally a lot I don't even count them since I actually wake up in my void literally everytime I nap/sleep after that time I manifested it

Also I don't use it that much cause my manifesting abilities were/are already the same as manifesting in my void state!

her regular design is a margherrita and pepperoni pizza roll (you can find this design on my profile..somewhere) and she was created by accident in a lab located in pennsylvania. long story short, two of the lab's employees were eating lunch next to the cloning vats that were still in the workings, they accidentally drop their food there aaand wow boom margarett and her "sister" were created, w humanoid ish features bc the vat took some of the dna from the employee who was holding the her yk (that's why she has a bite on her head, she was bitten by one of the employees before becoming alive)

all these facts Imma say are applied to both the designs, as a regular and as a gijinka, is the same story for both so dw.

she's rlly chill, has a nice relationship w almost everyone she meets bc of that, she's rlly sweet specially w shake, but she can also be pretty assertive when she needs to, also specially w shake.

she's a stoner lol she has a hello kitty bong and frequently smokes w shake.

margarett is often losing jobs and finding new ones, also never having a stable routine, so she has the responsability to find a job, but not to mantain one lmao

her fellow creation/sister is called popcarmen, who doesn't like shake that much since he's whiny, annoying, stupid, lazy, messy....I could go on all day.

margarett had a lot of relationships w a ton of people (fun fact shes pan) before meeting shake, but she never actually wanted something serious or commitment, it was all for fun and games yk, specially bc no one actually wanted commitment w her, so she never knew what it was actually like, until she met shake ofc, clingy the way he is he prolly asked her to marry him in like the first week of knowing her lol. Took her some time to finally be his girlfriend officially, but now they're happy in a commited relationship, but still they don't think ab future, getting married and having children, they just love each other and thats it yk..

she's rlly lazy and messy, she lives in an appartment w popcarmen and she hates how destroyed margarett's room looks lol. She also has the habit of leaving junk food around the house, which pisses of popcarmen even more. And ofc, her habit is worse when shake is around, since they usually smoke together, watch movies and eat junk food, then they sleep and dont clean their mess most of the time.

margarett is rlly stupid (not as much as shake tho) and slow, so when shake tells her a joke she usually doesn't get it for HOURS, until when she finally gets it she laughs wherever she is, frequently startling ppl around her loll.

shes also pretty impulsive and can say stuff she regrets right after, she doesn't think too much before she acts.

margarett is rlly scared of being lonely and having the same feeling she felt when she was all alone in the lab when she first woke up from being created, shes rlly scared of losing ppl the loves.

most of the time she denies being wrong, not bc she knows shes wrong but doesnt admit it, but bc she ACTUALLY think shes right cus she dummmmb

she has a plutonian friend called jarvis, he helped her and her sister when they escaped from the lab. He owns a bar located in pennsylvania

Sleep Oil?

Ok so Sleep Prayer Oil (yes from sleep token)??

-olive oil for the vibes, I usually use grape seed as a carrier, but the vibes of olive oil are what I’m feeling for this.

-Pachouli (sleep aid, and also VERY sensual)

-Mugwort (for astral/dream work)

-Lemon Balm (love, dreamwork, healing)

-Lavender (sleep aid, but intense dreams)

-rosemary (creativity)

-peppermint essential oil (money/prosperity)

-Grapefruit essential oil (mental clarity)

Ok, so here is my list, copy pasted from my notes app so that is why the formatting and wording is all weird lol, of all the herbs and oils I’d include in a sleep prayer oil, and all my reasonings.

But I freaking. Listen, I don’t believe sleep is a real god, but when I was like ‘what would I put in this’ my mind kept going back to rosemary, and I was like ‘why tho?’ And the first thing that popped up when I searched for herbs for creativity was rosemary and I just said ‘ok. Sleep wants that in there’.

I cant make this rn, cause… I am not uhhh ‘practicing’ (my practice is gathering knowledge until I can move out), but I want to 🤣. I wonder if I could get by with substituting lemon oil for lemon balm, cause I have access to essential oils, but not herbs and putting them jars lol. I could honestly say this was a blend for seizures and I wouldn’t even be completely lying….. I’d actually just have to buy the patchouli and mugwort 🤣🤣🤣…. I’m so tempted. I’ll let you know if I do it or not😂 or maybe I just leave out the mugwort and patchouli for right now? I feel like the others have everything covered, but the first two where more like the pa-pow of the oil, idk if this makes since? Like those are the main two and if I was making this for real, I would do only a little bit of the other ingredients, and a lot of the main two, but if I’m not including them I’d do more of the others…. Fuck it I’m gonna end up making this, oops. (But probably with grape seed oil, since this is an essential oil blend… I’ll be back with more notes I’m so sorry).

Edit: this just keeps getting longer longer sorry; went to gather the oils, realized we do indeed have patchouli! But not rosemary… thinking of substituting oregano for rosemary…. And maybe clary sage for mugwort?? Hmmm. Lots of thoughts. i have sat on this for waaaayyyyy toooo long but university was absolutely kicking my ass for the last… month and a half? idk i was going through it for a hot minute 😅

but! finally getting to tuck into some research now that i’m done school for the term and have a quiet day at work. (this is gonna get hella long cuz i’m having a lot of fun researching and i’m gonna use this as a sounding board a bit as i read)

so! first thing i’m learning is that intention is a huge part of this (i knew the intention part already, part and parcel with working with tarot!)

i think given that sleep is introduced to us as some sort of deity, i would probably make a ritual anointing oil.

the carrier oil itself is another question. i think since sleep feels like a deity not easy to commune with (the intensity and allegory in the music makes me think that, if we were worshipping a true god, conversing with sleep takes a toll on the devotee). with this in mind i think grapeseed oil might make a decent base. it is a good choice for anything used to anoint the body (which i feel would be part of this ritual oils use, if we must dream to encounter sleep then anointing the body makes the most sense to me!) and it is ruled by the moon and water element- making it very fitting for sleep token! grapeseed oil is also useful for blends that intend to boost/strengthen mental abilities (it also helps with fertility magic and given the lyrical content at times- seems somewhat fitting) another useful aspect for a ritual for sleep. i do like the vibes of olive oil as well, and it’s a very versatile ingredient but i don’t think i’d like feeling it on my skin so grapeseed it is! (also my local magick shop has grapeseed oil so easy for me to obtain lol)

now the fun part- the essential oils!

(i’m realizing as i write this that i need to purchase a grimoire so i can start recording my research and recipes…)

so this part has taken me a lot longer to fiddle with, not only finding the right associations but also smells i enjoy, but i think I’ve got it!

- sandalwood (its grounding, promotes inner peace, aphrodisiac) [i went back and forth here between sandalwood and cedar, same associations but i prefer the scent of sandalwood]

- lavender (promotes sleep, reduces stress, pretty straightforward lol)

- patchouli (grounding, sharpens your wit, good for prayer work) [loooove the smell too, i’d do anything to naturally smell like patchouli lol, hippy association be damned]

- mugwort (astral projection, lucid/prophetic dreams, meditation)

- lemon balm (love, healing, astral projection, it also amplifies the effects of other herbs)

- clary sage (vivid dreams, divination)

i keep going back and forth on whether or not to add clove, it’s another aphrodisiac and also good for treating insomnia so i think it would fit? but i’m not 100% sure on it yet lol. my familiarity with essential oils and herbs is very minimal

but yeah! now to get the oils and mix. not sure exactly how the mix will come about, will need some trial and error with it i think! again, sorry this took me so long but here we are! finally i did it!

If you haven't seen my separate post about Icia sleeping (I'll find it if you want or you can hunt for it yourself) and seeing her friends back in tbdk then you know damn well there's something SEVERELY wrong happening with Icia and if ANY serious shit happens then HOOOOOOO boy God bless everyone's souls because that will NOT be fun. It's not even just her though- like. Spoilers. POOR FUCKING VERIE AND ARTHUR, LIKE JESUS CHRIST THEYRE EACH OTHER'S LOST FIANCE AND SHE DOESNT EVEN FULLY KNOW IT AND HES JUST WAITING SADLY WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING IF SHES EVER GONNA REMEMBER. I'm really proud of Clara though, especially with being able to put her mask back on for the play. Lance and Raina are freaking me out a little. I know we've seen a bit of Lance and fighting really isn't his style but I've said this before and I'll say it again, seeing one of them for a long time and not the other FUCKING SCARES ME. His hair is actually (kind of) curly! But he uses Dions hair gel or a hair straightener.

any tips for fellow writers that struggle to stay motivated?

Hmmm I might not be the BEST person to ask for this??? But!!! I’ll tell ya what helps me:3

1. Read. Like a lot. Other fanfic, fiction books, LOTS OF NONFICTION!!! Sometimes motivation issues for me come with lack of ideas on how to proceed with a WIP and reading or watching other media is very helpful because you are focused on a new thing but your brain (MY BRAIN) is still working on the project in the background.

2. Make some fandom friends. This is in theory good advice because like talking to people about characters and plots can help motivate but I struggle with making fandom friends. So do what I do, and drag your other friends in it!!! I have a mutual from a fandom I was in 10 years ago (good lord ;__;) that I’ve dragged into every fandom I’ve moved to since and we have been discussing a dratchet/rodimags fic idea neither of us have any intention of writing BUT in doing so!!! It keeps our creative brains very active and I’ve written a lot of other things because of her. (I should really credit her in like half my fics. My roommate on the other half since they are responsible for the other half of my dumb ideas. Rodimus might as well be on the lease with us with how much we talk about him)

3. Maybe try some writing exercises or sprints? Like just take a break from whatever and just write something with the intention to delete later. It’s been very helpful for me in the past and I eagerly want to do writing sprints again!:3

4. Have some non-fandom related hobbies to jump to. I like doing household projects (I’m revamping a bookshelf rn) and taking care of my little plants ( IM GROWING PEPPERS!)

5. Don’t force creativity. If you start getting frustrated or upset, just walk away. Maybe literally. Like go on a walk. Just get away from the project for a bit. And also sometimes you have to come to terms you might never go back to it. Having space from it can be leagues helpful.

6. UH sleep well? Eat well? Drink water. Basic health stuff. When I’m in the pits of my depression the last thing I want to do is write yet it’s all I think about during then and it becomes a toxic cycle. Taking care of yourself does amazing things for you creatively.

If anyone else has tips, please share!! These are just the few I could think of while I wait for some glue to dry (literally. The bookshelf is drying rn)

the character everyone gets wrong

neo 3's little buddy, and salmonid's in general tbh. they're sentient beings with their own (admittedly a bit problematic in execution) culture! the devs are like going back on this little so, not sure if it still counts but, little buddy isnt neo 3's dog. as funny as that interpretation can be sometimes, he's their friend, and canonically an agent, too. also, salmonids arent wild animals. tired of people assuming that. if youre offended by how the culture is presented because of its basis on a real one (i dont remember the exact one ATM, curse my bad memory, but theres a lot of posts out there going over how salmonid culture was inspired by it, for better and for worse) then i understand, but pretending that the salmonids are wild beasts is so so dumb. they canonically have a trade deal with octarians iirc. i beg people to look up salmonid lore so much but, alas.. inkfish dominate

12. the unpopular character that you actually like and why more people should like them

SHELDON!!!! this is a recent development for me but i actually really like sheldon. he has fun dialogue. he gives out good info on weapons. he's a nerd (very good!! love nerds) and honestly? he is very autism/pos. projecting my autism onto him rn.

also his inclusion in the splatoon 2 storymode is cool. getting weapon info for him is lovely. i cant lie about sheldon hate anymore

18. it's absolutely criminal that the fandom has been sleeping on...

i can say a looot for this one but ill just say.. big man. people kind of ignore his existence soo much but he has so much to his character. ive seen like no discussion on the fact that he's a loz nerd, but that has a lot of potential. id be the change i want to see on the world if i wasnt so tired loll. also people need to include him more in deep cut drawings.. he's left out a lot despite being just as close to shiver and frye as they are to each other. maybe im just not looking in the right places but he's always treated like a third wheel, but he isnt.

25. common fandom complaint that you're sick of hearing

this might be outside of tumblr fandom, BUT twitter fandom is just, quite the place. maybe this isnt fandom lmao but its the only thing i can think of really. but, the constant complaints about the weapon meta. like. what happened to just having fun? competitive is a Beast i dont even want to touch with a 10ft pole, but im tired of people just saying the exact same things over and over. makes me question if some people even have fun with this game.

I dyed it twice cause after the first time I missed a few spots. So the first time I dyed it I actually mixed it with my purple conditioner, second time I did not. After my aunts wedding I washed my hair thoroughly because for the wedding I had to have my hair in a specific traditional hair style that requires a lot of teasing and hairspray. So most of the black hair dye got rinsed off and somehow- it left the top half of my hair green and the bottom part purple. But thats only for half of my hair so- my hair is black purple and green rn-
