good afternoon guys today I decided to choose violence and talk about GOLD AGAIN
y'know i realized I don't think I ever talked about my favorite duo with gold
and that's actually red (but like. not MY red, this red is SO different, in a good way. the one that TALKS red)
when gold finally met red after having to go deal with a villain character (and a group sigh of relief that they all won) he immediately grabs red and asks him to train with him to make him stronger
he really just called his ma to inform her that he'll be out for a while and that he's "with the league champion" (red). red is flabbergasted over this sudden idea but he rolled with it eventually and I find that hilarious - but then again, that's red, he's very flexible.

this is also the time where the popular "red and gold/ethan meets in mt silver" thing comes into play, except they're both in this together and as friends, not strangers ITS JUST SO SWEET MAN I LOVE THAT FOR THEM I LOVE IT WHEN THEY TAKE AN IDEA AND TWIST IT A BIT

then after a few arcs later THEY BASICALLY RECALLED WHAT THEY DID TOGETHER BACK THEN I LOVE CONTINUITY

they basically became homies after that - but gold still respectfully calls him "senior red" (because role wise, kanto trio are the first gen dexholders and johto trio are the second gen dexholders and so on). ALSO GOLD HAS A PICHU AND RED HAS A PIKACHU I FEEL LIKE IM SEEING A DAD AND SON BOND EXCEPT THEY'RE BOTH YOUNG AHHEKSKSJAJSJW anyways red and gold time

THEY'RE SUCH AN UNDERRATED DUO BUT GGGRRRR MAN I LOVE IT WHEN TWO GENERATIONS INTERACT FJFKDLDJDJKD
#this combined with the brief blue and silver interaction cleansed my soul to the very core i cant stress how happy that makes me feel#remember when crystal literally went big sister mode over ruby and sapphire.... ah good times#WEAAUGGEGA#reminding yall that pokespe jaide has nothing to do with pokespe red only steven 👍#violence over im cooking lunch#~ rambling#pokespe hours#🍀 cc's#gold.fam

I love how every bit of new eluvian lore makes what merrill did in da2 even more insane. oh? you handcrafted a new eluvian that not only worked, but remained merely dormant? like June? Elven God June? Creator of the eluvians? Guy who did so dividing a lyrium crystal perfectly in two and thus created resonating, interconnected portals? And you cleansed the fucking BLIGHT from this thing? that said god got consumed by instead?

𐙚⋆°。⋆ love potion,
summary. you think dean might be hexed. because the way he's been acting... oh boy, it's nothing if not trouble.
pairing. dean winchester x witch!reader genre. giggling fluff
wordcount. 659
notes / warnings. lots of banter, mutual pining, and eventual confession
Dean is acting weird.
Not monster-under-the-bed weird, but like... are-you-drunk-before-noon weird.
You glance up from your herb jars as he leans against your kitchen counter, arms folded, grin lazy. He’s watching you like you hung the damn moon—and you would know, considering you’ve worked moon magic.
“Need help bottling those?” he asks, all honeyed voice and heavy eye contact.
You narrow your eyes. “No, I’ve got it.”
“Bet you do.” He winks. Winks.
You almost drop the jar of crushed lavender.
This has been happening for days. Dean showing up more than usual, sitting closer than necessary, throwing compliments like he’s trying to charm your apron off. You would’ve blamed it on the full moon, or maybe a succubus, if he hadn’t also brought you your favorite coffee two mornings in a row “just because.”
So either Dean Winchester is hexed... or he’s flirting.
Both are equally terrifying.
You slide the cork into the jar and set it down. “You feel okay?”
He arches a brow. “Yeah? Why?”
“You’re... different lately.”
He takes a step closer, and your pulse stumbles. “Different how?”
“You keep smiling at me.”
Dean snorts. “That’s illegal now?”
“You bought me a candle that smells like marshmallows and said it reminded you of me.”
“It does! Sweet. Warm. Makes me wanna light you up every night—okay that sounded dirtier than I meant.”
Your mouth drops open. “Dean!”
He just laughs, completely unbothered, and takes the seat across from you at the table.
“You’re hexed,” you declare, pointing a sage stick at him. “Or glamoured. Or—or possessed.”
“I’m not hexed.”
“You’re acting like a lovesick golden retriever.”
Dean leans back in the chair, arms spreading wide. “Maybe I am.”
You pause. Blink. Your heart tries to climb into your throat.
He watches your expression carefully. “You ever think... maybe I just like you?”
“That’s not funny.” You cross your arms, suddenly flustered.
“I’m not joking.” His voice goes softer now. “You really didn’t know?”
“No!” you say, maybe a little too loudly. “You flirt with everyone, Dean.”
“Yeah, but I mean it with you.”
You go quiet.
Dean leans forward again, serious now, elbows on the table. “You’re smart. You’re funny. You smell like cinnamon and whatever that protection charm is you always carry. You make potions and don’t even flinch when I walk in bleeding from a werewolf attack. You’re the first person I wanna see after a hunt. Hell, you’re the only one I’d let use a crystal on me without panicking.”
You try to breathe, but it’s stuck somewhere in your chest.
“I didn’t touch a cursed object,” he finishes. “I just finally got tired of pretending I don’t wanna be yours.”
The silence stretches, and your hands are shaking slightly in your lap.
“Dean…”
His smile is soft this time. “I’ll stop if you want. But I hope you don’t.”
You burst into a laugh—nervous and delighted. The kind of giggle that slips out before you can stop it, all fluttery and real.
“I thought you were cursed,” you admit, covering your face with your hands. “I almost put a grounding crystal in your boot.”
Dean laughs with you, easy and warm, then walks around the table and gently pulls your hands away from your face.
“Guess I’ve been cursed in a way,” he says, voice low. “Kinda crazy about a witch who makes my whole world feel less like a battlefield.”
You grin, cheeks hot. “That line’s terrible.”
“Did it work?”
You roll your eyes. “Maybe.”
His hand slips into yours. “Let me take you out. Real date. No demons. No ghosts. Just us.”
You squeeze his fingers. “Okay. But I’m still cleansing your aura just in case.”
Dean leans in, smirking. “As long as I get to kiss you,”
Your whole body feels like it’s buzzing, and when he does kiss you—soft, careful, a little breathless—you know with every fiber of your magically-inclined soul: this is definitely not a hex.

Protections and Wards
What are protections and wards?
Protections and wards can be pretty much anything; you can make protection jars using herbs, you can use crystals as protections, you can even do protections with just energy! There will be some simple examples of protections listed later on in this post.
Why do protections at all? What if I don’t believe in trickster spirits?
Even if you don’t necessarily believe in trickster spirits, protections are still important. Negative energy still exists, and protecting yourself and your space from that negative energy may make it easier to deal with negativity around you in your daily life.
What is the difference between protections and warding?
Protections are a generalized term that describes using energy and intentions to protect yourself and your space. Warding specifically talks about using ordinary objects, setting intentions on them (possibly doing other things like blessing them or consecrating them) to turn them into protections.
Below is going to be a small list of some ideas for protections and wards, both for the home and for yourself. This list is not exhaustive, and there are many different ways to make protections and wards.
Protection jars
Veiling
Protection jewelry
Handmade protections
Protection satchels
Crystals
Energetic protections
Protection oil (please make sure that any essential oil or oil-based products are safe for the skin and pets if you are going to be using this).
Protection candles (you can use color and scent magic for this as well!)
Protective sigils
Some of the methods listed, such as veiliing, protection jewelry, and crystals are a bit more ‘beginner friendly’. Please make sure you’re doing your research and setting clear intentions with any protections you’re making!
Here is a short list of some easy, generally accessible herbs you can use in protection jars and satchels.
Sage (please remember to only use white sage is you are part of that closed practice)
Lavender
Cinnamon
Rosemary
Bay
Salt
Pepper
Garlic
What is veiling/how do I veil?
Veiling is a tradition that has a lot of history behind it; essentially, veiling is the practice of wearing some type of headwear in order to protect your own energies from outside influence. You can veil in many different ways. Wearing a headscarf of some kind is a good way to veil, but you can also veil using hats, scrunchies/hair-ties, and even simple energy can be used to veil. For me, I have put an energetic veil on my head before while washing my hair in the shower!
Is there a right/wrong way to use/do protections?
There is not really a right or wrong way to do or use protections; you can use protections however you like to protect your own energy and your space! For me personally, the majority of my protections are not physical objects, I purely use energy and visuals for my protections. A lot of my protections are also baneful in nature.
Can I make protections to make someone not think of me/ignore me?
Yes, you can! For protections like these, I recommend illusion magic or protections specifically made to hide you from them. Veiling is a good option in this scenario!
How do I know I need to redo my protections?
This can get a bit tricky to discern; I highly recommend using some form of divination to figure out if you need to re-do protections. I also recommend generally keeping up with your protections as part of a weekly/bi-weekly routine. As discussed in my previous post about cleansing, working in protections while you’re doing mundane tasks such as cleaning can be a good way to do this.
As far as discerning when you need to redo protections, this will get a little complicated, so bear with me. First and foremost, please try to distinguish the mundane vs magical causes for things. While things like getting sick, feeling suddenly run down all the time, or having a bout of bad luck can SOMETIMES be indications of negative energy around you and the need to cleanse and redo protections, this is not always the case. Sometimes, life just sucks. This is again why I recommend doing divination as a way to discern if the cause is mundane or magical. I will be going more into divination methods in a later post.
How do I make protection jewelry?
Again, there can be a few ways to do this. I firstly recommend cleansing the jewelry you are wanting to turn into a protection. Please make sure you’re being safe when doing this (make sure you check and see if the jewelry can safely be submerged in water, get salt on it, etc).
Next, you can consecrate the jewelry in a few ways. You can use protection oil to consecrate the jewelry (please make sure that your jewelry will not corrode or anything with oil). You can also ask your deities/spirit guides to bless the jewelry for you and put their protective energies on it. You can also soak the jewelry in water and herbs (again, make sure that the jewelry is safe to go in water).
How do I make protective sigils?
Sigils are a very fun, easy way to make protections (as well as doing other types of spellwork). You can find sigil online, however I do recommend making them on your own. There are also programs you can find online that will help you generate sigils. You can also make them up on your own, go based on associations (like you could draw a candle, and have that be a protective sigil for instance).
This is not an exhaustive list that covers all forms of protection and all questions about protection, however I hope that this post will help some newer witches learn more about how to work protections into their practice.

Crafts of the Witch Useful to Learn
Welcome to December 25th, here's some stuff about witchcraft to think about because you're on your phone looking for a distraction :)
So anyway here's stuff that's really useful to learn how to do before you actually need it because putting it all together for the first time on game day is stressful.
Creation and Desecration of a Poppet
A poppet is a deeply sympathetic representation of someone or something (usually another person).
According to the law of sympathy, whatever you do to the poppet will happen to the person it represents. You could cleanse and bless it, or smite it.
Poppets can be made in a wide variety of ways, from paper dolls, to clay figurines, to crocheted stuffies - anything you like. They also must be worked over magically to link them to their target.
The most ideal poppet is decorated to look very similar to the thing it represents, and is imbued with a taglock (such as hair, nail clippings, footprint dust, etc).
Learning Prompts:
The handicraft of creating the poppet - start with any arts and crafts you're interested in and see if they'll work for you
Practice making several poppets - you do not need to consecrate them. How easy is it for you to decorate it just like the real person? How easy is it for you to include taglocks?
Find a disposal plan. ""Voodoo dolls"" are steeped in public awareness; will it be safe for you to throw away the poppet in the trash when you're done with it?
Consecration or enlivening poppet as target. Find or develop a ritual to fill the poppet with magical life so that it becomes the target. Practice this once or twice (perhaps on a poppet of yourself, to cast blessings or prosperity magic on yourself)
Desecration or severing link. Find or develop a ritual to end the sympathetic link between the poppet and its target. Practice this once or twice.
Storage and tending of enlivened poppets. They are alive and they act like it. If you intend to have poppets sitting around for long-term spells or to use as-needed, you will need a system of storing them so that they "go to sleep" and remain undisturbed until you need them.
Consecration, In General
Here I mean "consecration" to be an act of magic which anoints an object as sacred unto a purpose, and therefore primed for magical use. In crude terms: you're making an object magical and giving it a purpose at the same time.
Consecration is a very useful thing to know how to do. In and of itself it can form a kind of minor enchantment (I consecrate this mug of oolong tea to be a potion of survival +1), but it can also prepare the way for powerful enchantments (I consecrate this ring to become a divine protector, ready to receive the powerful enchantment I soon cast upon it).
Learning Prompts:
Find or create a minor consecration spell which can be cast in under a minute. Strive to obtain one which is covert and can be done even in the presence of others. (Perhaps we could call this a 'cantrip'). Such a spell tends to be suitable for moving fate a few degrees over, or to dig a shallow pool in the tides of reality.
Find or create a hefty consecration spell. Consider what abilities or access you have that allows you to redefine the fate and purpose of an object. Contemplation of this spell can provide great insight into one's own belief and path. Such a spell may completely reorient fate, and carve new channels into the waterways of reality.
Practice minor consecrations on 5 different types of objects. Consecrating the tea, that's easy - stir it a few times. But how to consecrate a hairbrush? How to consecrate a mirror?
Practice major consecration twice, unto two very different domains. Perhaps a pepper oil of fiery smiting, and a crystal bracelet of deep soothing. This is an opportunity to compare and contrast the powers you raise when you work within different domains.
Desecration, In General; and Spell Reversal
To make profane; as in, to remove the magic from something and make it no more than a lump of physical matter, or a meaningless event like scattered dust on the winds of fate.
In my opinion, all witches should learn this - "don't raise up what you can't put down" also includes "don't enchant shit if you don't know how to undo enchantments."
To know how to nullify magic also means you can nullify unwanted and harmful things around you, and take the force and energy out of them.
Learning Prompts:
Find or create a minor desecration spell, one that you can cast on the fly and without tools or ingredients. Such a spell may be like a slapping a broom on a dusty rug; it will shake free things not tightly held.
Find or create a major desecration spell. Such a spell is like steam cleaning and shampooing a rug; it must remove every particle of magic and leave nothing behind but stripped fibers.
Practice minor desecrations 5 times in day-to-day life, targeting stank vibes and irritating situations that do not serve you.
Practice minor consecrations and desecrations 5 times by consecrating a stone, candle, etc., unto a magical purpose, and then removing the consecration.
Find an opportunity to cast a major desecration, which you may find the opportunity to do the next time the need for banishment comes up; or when sorting through old magical tools you no longer need, etc.
Find or create a solid spell reversal, one that you can use without having to have physical spell remnants on hand. Note that reverse to sender is not the same as nullifying your own magic.
Binding Divination Tools to Veracity, and Sundry Divination Management
Or if you like, binding veracity to divination tools. Binding is not baneful magic. Binding means to attach one thing to another thing, or to prevent something from being ways.
You can cast a binding on your divination tools to constrain them to only tell the truth, to truly peer beyond the veil, and only deliver what it can see; and never reflect your personal whims.
There's plenty of magic you can cast for your divinatory tools to make your life easier.
Prepare a binding spell to constrain a divination tool to only reflect the kind of truth you want. Do you want a tarot deck to only show your true state of mind? Do you want a set of runes to only read the will of the gods? Do you want your charm set to only read on the future, and not the past?
Find or create a protection spell to stop undue influence on a divination tool. This does not mean "evil spirits are manipulating your reading." Undue influence also means the strong emotions of querents, random psychic garbage, and the like; but it can also have an impact on the way you phrase questions and work with the tool itself.
Find or create a spell to enchant your tool as a magical seer/oracle. You can use a tarot deck out of the box, of course. You can also enchant it to be a magical object that obtains truth from mystical sources. Try it and see if you like the difference.
Find or create a charging ritual to revitalize your divination tools. This is a good opportunity to examine elemental energies; what kinds of energies are best suited to the purposes of divination and seeing beyond? The full moon is classically used for such purposes. Challenge yourself to recharge your divination tools once a month for 3 months, and see if you like the difference.
Blessing, In General
You have the power to generate and coalesce benevolent and helpful energies, and to distribute them into the world around you. You can bless anything you like, and perhaps the more the merrier; it's a very fine way to transform a space, and put love into the world.
Try considering blessings to have 2 parts; the first is to evoke a desirable force, and the second is to apply the force in a certain way: You could evoke the winter dawn as a blessing power, and then ask it to do something specific (provide a calm day, to make wise choices, to avoid bad traffic, etc).
Write your own minor blessing spell that you can perform in a minute or less. Try centering this blessing around a wonderful and benevolent force, whether it be a certain god, mushrooms, unconditional love, and so forth.
Write a separate minor blessing spell using a very different focus. Try the deep blue calming waters of the deep ocean, or the sprightly breezes of alpine hills, or the feeling of the first sip of a perfect bowl of soup; but make it have really different vibes from the first blessing.
Practice both minor blessings and see the difference. Challenge yourself to use each blessing cantrip 5 times. Try clustering the blessings to fill a space with that kind of energy (such as five items on desk blessed under the alpine breeze, and five items in the bathroom blessed under the deep ocean). Can you feel a difference in the spaces as you move in and out of them?
Write a major blessing using the various benevolent and lovely powers of your practice. This is another good opportunity to explore your practice. When you are in need of love, kindness, grace, and softness, what part of your path rises to meet your needs?
The Big Practice
Consecrate a poppet unto yourself. Bind and enchant a divination tool to be a powerful oracle of truth, and read on the most helpful equipment the poppet needs (RPG style: weapon, armor, familiar, potion?).
Whatever the answer, make a tiny container spell which serves the purpose. Consecrate it to be the tool that the poppet (you) needs.
Give the enchanted container spell to the poppet and cast a blessing on it, to be empowered with the new tool it has been granted in life.
Carefully store the poppet and its tool.
Periodically, perhaps between 1 to 6 times a year, recharge your divination tool and discern what new tools the poppet might need. Desecrate the old tool if you need to (or let them stack up), and consecrate new tools.
Keep the poppet and its tools for as long as you like, carefully severing the link between yourself and it when you're done with it.

🍾 Eat 12 grapes on New Year's Eve (though I haven't tried it yet, it's said to bring abundance for each month of the coming year).
🍷 Write down things you want to attract this year.
🍾 Hang a horseshoe in your home for luck.
🍷 Plant some coins in your garden or place them outside in nature to attract wealth for the upcoming year.
🍾 Be grateful for everything you've accomplished. Even if you couldn't achieve all your resolutions, remember that you tried, and that's what matters most.
🍷 Do the Thirteen Wishes Ritual: Write thirteen wishes for the coming year, one on each piece of paper. Fold them, put them in a bowl, and pull one every day. Burn each wish without opening it, letting the Universe or your Deities handle them. The last one left is for you to care for.
🍾 Pull 12 tarot cards, one for each month of the year. (you can also cast runes, try lithomancy or any type of divination that you want
🍷 Burn gold, green, or white candles to attract positive energy.
🍾 Leave coins outside and perform a special ritual bath with herbs. Cleanse your crystals.
🍷 Place a bay leaf in your wallet for prosperity.
🍾 Write a thank you letter to yourself.
🍷 Draw sigils/witchy symbols/runes on your skin to carry with you throughout the next year.
🍾 Wear red to invite good luck into your life.
🍷 Open the door or the window at midnight to let the old year out and to welcome the new year.
🍾 Drink, dance, sing, and be happy♡
🍷 In some cultures, there's a belief that how you spend the first day of the year sets the tone for the rest of the year. So, try to fill it with everything that matters, even if just for a moment.
🍾 Before midnight, imagine releasing everything that hurt or frustrated you in the past year.
🍷 Make a feast with your loved ones or enjoy your favorite food alone.
🍾 Collect items from the forest, such as mistletoe or pine cones and create an altar.
🍷 Draw Jupiter sigils on your candles to attract wealth and abundance.
🍾 Ring bells to eliminate negative energies.
🍷 Eat pomegranate for abundance and good fortune.
🍾 Burn sage around your house to cleanse the space.
🍷 ..anddd HAVE LOT OF FUN♡ I wish everyone a happy new year and may all your wishes come true!!!

a beginner’s guide to…
✨ altars ✨
here are some materials you can use for an altar, whether it is for your spellwork, a deity, or any other use! altars should reflect your personality, and be a space where you feel happy and safe :D
none of these materials are required, and everything is completely customizable to your beliefs! (just practice respect and safety obviously)
🕯️ basics 🕯️
an altar cloth is a piece of fabric that covers your altar. this could be a bandana, a small blanket, or even a piece of paper!
a glass plate is a mundane but VERY versatile altar piece. it can work as an offering dish, a tray to collect wax drippings, or just a little trinket holder
candles are an easy addition to any altar. you can use any type of candle, but my favorites are taper and prayer candles. scented candles are completely fine to use as well! choose candles based on color and scent
natural materials like crystals, flowers, plants, animal bones (responsibly sourced), etc. are an incredible addition to any altar! if you have a deity altar, learn about their associations and use this to guide your choice
paper and pen/pencil will be your best friend if you write petitions, draw sigils, etc. keep them near your altar for convenience
🌱 cleansing 🌱
many people believe an area should be “cleansed” before it is used as an altar or sacred space
methods of cleansing include incense, water cleansing, sage smudging, and more
incense cleansing is often done by wafting an incense stick or cone through a space and visualizing the smoke clearing out negative energy
sandalwood, lavender, and rosemary are common incense choices for cleansing
water cleansing is something i do a lot, it can be done by sprinkling water in an area or even washing/pouring water. regular tap water is perfectly fine, but you can also incorporate moon water, sun water, rainwater, etc.
smudging with sage involves burning a bundle of sage and, similar to incense cleansing, wafting the smoke through the area. sage smudging is traditional to indigenous tribes like the Lakota and Navajo. as a result, sage smudging (especially the use of white sage) is often considered cultural appropriation when done by non-indigenous people. i am not indigenous nor do i use sage, so i am not incredibly well versed on the subject but i thought i should include it. always do research and practice respect and sensitivity 💌
🌙 takeaways 🌙
finally, your altar is YOUR space. you can include or exclude anything you want; your space doesn’t need to be “aesthetic” or make sense to others
my first altar was a cardboard box with one candle and a handful of crystals. it wasn’t expensive or fancy, but it got me into my practice
through the years, my altar has grown and changed as i have
if you want to make an altar, start with what you have! you would be surprised how powerful your resources are 🩷

How To Properly Disassemble A Spell Jar

Retrieving the Reusable Ingredients and Getting Rid of the Rest
Reusable ingredients include crystals, shells, rocks, bones, and anything else that can be used again. Cleanse them in smoke or water and reuse them in your next jar.
Trash
Throw the contents into the trash or a dumpster, if you don’t want it near you.
Burying:
This is a more respectful way to dispose of materials, as long as it's safe to do so. Dig a hole at least half a foot, place the herbs that were used in the jar inside, and bury it in the ground. Make sure it's biodegradable and safe for animals before doing this!
Burning It:
Put the offering in a fire safe container (a pot, cauldron, etc) and safely light it. Make sure it's completely burned (don't let it out of your sight until the fire's out!) and then spread the ashes on the ground away from your house.
Releasing:
Release the materials into a body of water. Keep in mind that not all organic matters are safe for the water or for fish, so look it up beforehand

Low Energy Spring Witchcraft
Spring is unfolding outside my window, and though I can’t always meet it with the full energy I long for, I still find ways to greet it. Here is how I've been supporting myself lately as a witch who often has little to no energy:
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀໒꒱. 🌱 ⠈ ⠂ ⠄ ‹𝟹 🌷͙֒ . ₊˚ *ੈ
🪟 If able, I crack the window open and let the breeze in. I take my time to notice the new sensations that come with it. I feel the fresh air against my skin, smell the lingering scent of flowers and soil, hear birds chatter in nearby trees, and try to name their songs. If I am unable to, I still try to look outside my window and watch the clouds drift by. Sometimes I will turn on my little fan for air flow, and light a candle that reminds me of Spring.
🌼 I sit in sunlight when it finds me, letting it warm my face with its strength. I have prisms hanging in my windows that cast rainbows across my room as well.
🌧 If it's raining, I thank it when it falls. I notice the sounds and watch the droplets hit the window. Sometimes I'll open my window just a crack to let in that cleansing energy.
🍵 I steep tea with herbs that remind me of green places, like mint and lemon balm. If I'm unable to do so, I thoughtfully sip my water, reminding myself of the ways I'm connected to this element and its role in nature. Alternatively, I drink pre-made tea that I steeped ahead of time (when I had the spoons to do so) and kept in the fridge. (Tea usually keeps in this way nicely in an airtight container to drink throughout the next few days, in my experience. It will last longer if the tea has a higher level of acidity. Make sure you dispose of it if it gets cloudy or tastes off.)
🪴 I keep crystals and houseplants near my bed and couch, where I often sit. I have a pothos and spiderplant that are both very low maintenance.
🧺 I try to change my clothes and be intentional with my color choices. For example, soft greens and earthy browns as small reminders that I am part of the world turning. If I don't have the energy to change, I try to use the intentions of whatever colors I'm wearing/are around me to motivate me for the day.
📖 In days past, I picked flowers and placed them into vases. On low-energy days, I'll tuck fallen petals into pages of books, preserving little moments of Spring. Keeping around flowers, plants, or even just a jar of soil makes me feel more connected to the earth this season.
🍓 I keep simple, easy snacks nearby if I can't get up. Right now, I have a container of peanuts (grounding, stability, energy, prosperity). If I have the energy to get up, I try to eat at least one thing that is fresh and in season.
🎧 I listen to music that connects me with the energy I want to focus on. I have designated playlists for different seasons, feelings, and intentions. (I may post them on here someday.) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀. .⠀ ‧˚⠀⠀ 🫧 🪺⠀ ɞ⠀⠀ ˚‧。⠀⠀ :*・゜ 𓍊𓋼𓍊
Even if your practice looks like rest, like noticing, like being gentle with yourself, you’re aligning with the turning of the earth, and that’s magic enough. Let Spring’s renewal be a reminder of that.
