Friday, August 25.
A tribute to the state of Georgia, USA.
Georgia, Georgia, Georgia. And what a fine state it is. For reasons unbeknownst to us, we found ourselves compelled to celebrate every last one of its 59,425 square miles when we awoke from nourishing slumber this morning and pulled the duvet from over our faces. As we drew back our collective curtains, we found our faces struck by magnificent morning light; a light all too reminiscent of those rich hues you only find down in that most famous of American states.
It's a state as beautiful as the name suggests, and with an embarrassment of riches to explore and enjoy: Stone Mountain Park, the cities of Atlanta, Athens, and Savannah, wild horses roaming Cumberland Island, its famous southern hospitality, its iconic peaches, The Varsity—the world's largest drive-in restaurant, Anna Ruby Falls, having your fingerprints taken, the World of Coca-Cola museum, the Blue Ridge Mountains. Ah, #georgia. There really is no place quite like it—it's not so much a state as a state of mind.
So if you find yourself in need of a holiday, whether a week's vacation, city break, or a few days hiking and camping in the best the natural world has to offer, you could do a lot worse than head down to the state of Georgia, USA. Don't forget to get a cute pic while you're there.
Say cheese x

Everything You Need to Know About Crystals: Amethyst
Amethyst (“The World’s Most Popular Purple Gem”)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Color: Dark Vivid Purple to Pale Lilac
Hardness: 7
Rarity: Easy to Acquire
Type: Quartz
Chakra Association: Third Eye, Crown
Deities: Buddha, Dionysus, Diana, Artemis
Birthstone: February
Astrological Signs: Pisces, Aries and Aquarius
Element: Air
Planet: Jupiter
Origin: USA, Britain, Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Russia, Sri Lanka, Uruguay, East Africa, Siberia, India
Powers: Pride, Sobriety, Peace, Spirit World, Protection, Celibacy, Luck, and Homesickness
Crystals It Works Well With: Ametrine, Citrine, and Moonstone
How It Is Created: Amethyst receives its color beginning at the crystal’s growth. At the first stage, trace amounts of iron are incorporated into the crystal as it starts to grow. After the crystallization starts, gamma rays are emitted by radioactive materials within the host rock and the irradiated iron gives the amethyst its beautiful purple color.
History: One of the earliest references to amethyst is in the Old Testament book of Exodus as it is mentioned that one of the stones in the breastplate of Aaron the High Priest was an amethyst. There is not a clear indication to where the name comes from but it is said that it is derived from the Greek word “amethyst” which means “not drunk”. Despite this, it is associated with the god, Dionysus, because the purple hue of the crystal looks like delicious grape wine. Wine goblets were carved of this stone to prevent drunkenness. There is also a Greek lore involving Dionysus with a young girl named Amethyst. The lore reads:
“Dionysus was angry one day and swore that he would exact his revenge on the next mortal that came by. He created several tigers, informed him of their mission and went his way. As it would happen, a lovely young girl named Amethyst was the next to come by, on her way to pay homage to Artemis and was attacked. Artemis quickly changed the girl into a statue of solid quartz. When Dionysus returned to see what he had wrought, he was overcome with remorse and wept tears of purple wine which flowed over the statue, staining it permanently.”
The color was also in demand throughout history since the color purple is associated with royalty and was worn by royals in Egypt and Europe. In some traditions, Catholic Bishops wear amethyst rings to symbolize their piety and celibacy, and rosaries are still fashioned with this stone.
What It Can Do:
Excellent focal point for meditation and scrying
Used to unlock mysteries and figure out spiritual matters, such as death and rebirth
Helps cleanses, purify and heal the body, spirit, and mind
Balances emotions and prevents nightmares
Useful for spells to help let go of addictions
Uses on the tip of wands for healing and can produce high spiritual energy
Brings a sense of calm and clarity
Helps with decision making
Can open your third eye and connect to the crown chakra
Protects the mind from dark magic
A gateway stone to connecting with the spirit world
Helps with transmitting energies to a specific point
How to Get the Best Out of Amethyst: Wearing it on your person with a bracelet or necklace. Putting amethyst on bare skin invites the stone to release its vibrations directly into the body, amplifying its power.
How to Cleanse and Charge Amethyst:
To cleanse: Leave your Amethyst stone placed under the light of the full Moon for a whole night, that is, about 8 hours
To charge: It can also be recharge via the moon so just leaving it in the moonlight can do double duty.
Crystal Grid:
Protection and Cleansing (Hexagram)
Amethyst
Selenite
Snow Quartz
Hold your crystals in your hands and state your intention for the grid.
Lay the first triangle, placing clearing crystals on each point.
Join up the points and spray the grid with clearing essence.
Lay the light-bringing crystals in an overlocking triangle over the top of the first. Join up the points, starting with the first crystal you laid.
Place your keystone in the center, stating your intention once more.

aries sun, gemini moon, sagittarius rising, aries mercury, taurus venus, gemini mars
aries sun: you’re the embodiment of ambition, that glorious spark of motivation. you’re the image of when dawn breaks, that fiery red hue. you’re who i look at during times of desperation, the light of perseverance in a room full of hopelessness. the feeling of full marks after sleepless nights of frustration, my most prized possession, a taste of satisfaction.
gemini moon: a room full of things and hobbies. the best storytellers. light and witty humor. filled journals and sketchbooks. making the atmosphere brighter by just entering the room. having a thousand ideas and being passionate about every single one. soft touches and whispered secrets. i’d spend the rest of my life standing here talking.
sagittarius rising: sagittarius rising curvy body shape. sagittarius rising probably have a nice butt and thick thighs. they tend to have a pear shaped body. also i have seem these people have nice teeth too. and their smile is gorgeous. they may also have crooked teeth and watery big eyes. i have noticed these people can gain weight easily but that's just what i have seen. could be wrong too. these people can have eye issues too. they tend to have a v shaped jaw. oh but sagittarius rising have a nice ass is not joke.
aries mercury: direct, candid and uncomplicated way of thinking and communicating. very opinionated and doesn't mind or can even enjoy argumentative and aggressive ways of talking and expressing thoughts. thoughts progress quickly and they do best in fast paced conversations and thinking on their feet. they don't stay too focused on the same thing for long. they are tactless but rarely dull (enthusiastic).
taurus venus: irresistible charm or look, low-key seductive, enduring and magnetic, slow burn, dream weddings or dates, romantic touch, comforting and content, careful with hearts.
gemini mars: lightning-fast energy but airy to be around, wins you over with humor, takes pride in his intellect, upbeat and always around a crowd or working one, bewitches with ease and passion.

you said that eu violets are much richer in hue than the violets you normally breed for. does the difference show in photos?
It does! I breed purples, not EUV, or Sonja's Violeta (USA morph), and the distinction in language is important because they're all very different birds.
The EUV are here in the US now (a friend of mine imported a male just last year), and someday I will get some from him. I don't have any photos of my own, but here's pics of the male Bill imported, he's at Spring Creek Peafowl (and I'm p sure Bill has a few split males available still):
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The color on EUV is UNREAL. It looks like a photoshop job, but it's not.
Here's another pair from Krisztián Arnold, though the saturation/vibrance HAS been cranked here- the birds are young, so not into their full colors yet, they look like 2yos (front one looks like he's got a leucistic split, with those blue eyes too):
Tumblr media
And one from Paweł Sowa in Poland:
Tumblr media
Another EUV from Denmark:
Tumblr media
Their wing feathers are also generally redder than the more chocolate color on a purple's wings, and their trains (at least in the photos I have seen Around) seem to have more purple color than US purples. In general they're just.... redder all over, more of a red-purple than a royal-blue purple.
It's difficult to find pics of them, between people posting purples and calling them violet (because they don't know better) and people posting violeta and calling it violet (because they don't know better) and people photoshopping purple peacocks and people adjusting actual photos of the EUV birds trying to get them to look more like they look in person, or to look better for sales. But, I've seen a lot of photos of them (I used to follow a few breeders who had them), and across photos the color is still very stark in all of them, in a range of lights. Not true of purples, who often just look like weird blues.

Joshua Halling – Louis Tomlinson
Louis Tomlinson’s ‘Faith in the Future World Tour’ is the artist’s second soloist tour. The tour began in May 2023 and will end in a couple of months in June. For this tour, the creative direction took a more rugged and asymmetrical approach. This contrasts the usual grand stadium tours he has previously done as a soloist and as a member of One Direction.
Tomlinson announced the UK and European dates in his original announcement of the tour. Later in November, on the eve of his album’s release date, Tomlinson announced the USA and Canada dates. In early 2023, Tomlinson announced the Asia dates and then the Australian dates, which extended his tour into 2024.
With over a year of touring, there are a plethora of photographs capturing the singer and his fans. Throughout most of these photos, one can see his interest in shadows and the depth they create. This gives a relaxed feeling to his photographs while also emphasizing the artist’s creativity on the stage. Between the highlights and shadows within the contrasting hues and shades, the photographer is able to express the energy and spirit of the performance.
The photographer’s attention to detail and harmonious photographs of Louis capture the essence of the concert and Louis’s performance. Despite the harsh stage lights, the photographer is able to bring out the environment of the night. Through this, we get a deeper look into not only Louis’s artistry but also the artistry of the photographer.

Okay okay okay
So I got a lot of diversity and representation in my novels so far, right?
BUT
I NEED MORE
So Imma list a few characters (with numbers lol) and you can decide if I should change/add anything! (Of course, some are already decided and have partners, but that doesn't stop minor changes!)
You can tag a number and add an identity, or a sexuality, anything queer really! Or you can comment, of course, that'd be easier!
Number one:
From England, born in Canada, but has intense British accent
Literally white as snow
Gay but on the aspec, intersex (some kind of genetically fucked up thing with genitalia, (not as in "intersex is fucked up" but as in magic and such, personally I fucking love intersex people they're so cool), I might be using the wrong label here so excuse me on that) masc
Number two:
From the USA
Honey-colored hue
Demisexual homoromantic
Number three:
From Sweden, has British accent
Also white, has a lot of freckles
Transmasc bisexual panromantic (ftm)
Number four:
From Russia/America
Coffee-colored hue (extreme tan ig? not much tan in Russia but they got that from their American dad ig)
Gay
Number five:
From Canada
Greyish ash-colored hue
Asexual panromantic genderfluid (mtf?)
Number six:
I have no fuckin idea where they're from but I'd say Los Angeles lol (but spends most of their time in the Darkrimm AKA hell)
Strong tan, I don't know how to explain it but light bread brown
Genderfluid femboy-ish polysexual
Number seven:
From Mexico
Soft brown hue
Gay, extremely gay
Number seven:
From hell itself, AKA the Darkrimm
Pale brown hue
Polysexual, but mostly actually falls for guys
Number eight:
Also from the Darkrimm
Northern European hue, if I can describe it like that
Thinks they're straight, but is most likely bisexual or pansexual
Number nine:
From North America
Strong brown hue
Gay, but extremely devoted-obsessed over one single guy
Number ten:
From Japan
Pale hue
Lesbian
---
Those are it! Of course, I can specify the numbers and give more details, as in where they're from really (like where they live), if they have any disorders, things like that! Lemme know if you'd like that idea :)

@pscentral event 22: 2023 wrapped ↳ 12 films i watched this year
image description below the cut:
The main header is a gif banner. It has a black background with white ashes falling like snow. Extra bolded text reads "2023", with a light blue-grey gradient. Across its middle is a black banner cutout with a smaller, white, all-caps font reading "Wrapped".
Then, 12 main GIFs are divided into 4 groups of 3 rows/images. Each row is a clip from a movie. They all have light contrast and a de-saturated filter. Above each clip is a white banner background and black font naming the title of the movie clip.
First GIF: Emphasized blue and grey tones. 1. Spirited Away - Sen is riding Haku in dragon form away from the camera into the sky. There are big, soft, blue clouds, and a moon shines on the right hand side. 2. Us - The doppelganger family stand in a line outside on the Wilsons' driveway. Green pine trees surround them. A streetlight is behind them, shrouding them in darkness. Red claps, and the other three doppelgangers begin to move. 3. The X-Files: Fight the Future - A body is on a table with a sheet covering it. Scully is on the left hand side of the screen, looking at Mulder who is standing on the right hand side of the screen. Soft light comes in from the frosted window behind Mulder. Both of them are wearing black suit jackets.
Second GIF: All gifs are much paler, near grey. 4. Westworld - A white coat moves right to unveil the cowboy android, wearing a black hat and lying on a table (table not visible). The android's face is removed by a lab technician to show wires and computer chips inside. 5. Arsenic and Old Lace - The camera follows Martha Brewster as she places a large, elaborate wine decanter on the table. The liquid inside swirls around. (This is a B&W gif.) 6. Dial M for Murder - A medium rolling shot of Margot on the phone, in a dimly lit apartment. She has blonde hair and is wearing a nightdress.
Third GIF: Stronger tones of blue and red. 7. That Thing You Do! - The Wonders are waiting in the stage left wings for their performance. They are in red suits reminiscent of the 1960s, and the curtains around the stage are blue. Their manager, Mr. White, is talking to them. 8. Final Destination 3 - A wide shot of the roller coaster stuck at the top of the loop-de-loop. There are two people hanging from their seats. To the left is more of the coaster structure. 9. Miracle - A USA Olympic Hockey player (Johnson, #10) looks up at the clock as he skates across the ice with great effort. His uniform is white with red and blue accents. The scene cuts to the clock and the scoreboard, showing 1:01, then 1:00. The score is USA 4, URS 3.
Fourth GIF: A mix of desaturated hues. Most notable is the pink in the Barbie gif and some blue in the Rent gif. 10. Catfight - There are many people in an art gallery, looking on as Veronica angrily tears a large portrait from the wall. Veronica then runs away screaming, carrying the painting with her. 11. Barbie - In an outdoor cafeteria, Barbie looks at a group of girls and says, "I'm Barbie!" while throwing her arms out jazz-hands style. She is wearing a hot pink western outfit and a white hat. 12. Rent - A dark scene shows Mark on his bike, traveling through a wide alley. The camera pans to a pole with several 'eviction notice' papers on it. Other strangers linger in the background.

The striking consequence of wildfire smoke drifting in the air over long distances turn sunrises and sunsets to more intense reddish hues and can persist throughout the day if the smoke stays in the atmosphere. The smoke particles block the shorter wavelengths of light from reaching the ground.

Megan Gabrielle Harris, born in 1990 in Sacramento - USA.
Megan exemplifies the phenomenon of slow living both in her afro-escapism and surrealism practice, and in her own life.
Hailing from Sacramento in Northern California, Megan’s works are loosely inspired by either her own travels, or places that she would love to visit.
Soft and loose pastel hues frame her dreamscapes, transporting viewers into a realm of endless beauty. Her muses, tranquil and stunning in idyllic settings, wearing light satin-silk dresses that flow as liberally as the distant lakes that they peacefully regard.
Viewers are denied the chance of making direct eye contact with her muses. Their eyes are always closed or diverted from the gaze of the viewer, almost in an oblivious state of peace, harmony, and meditation, unperturbed and unaware of anyone or anything other than their moment of bliss.

Feeling productive
OK. Turn on the heating pad and start cooking doll parts, get the shells off and into the tub. Measure out how much water goes in my shiny new BIG ASS pot I got from the thrift store. Cut more weed-wacker trim wire (sorry, Spouse) to string up the legs.
Thinking of doing the knee and fetlock? ankle? joints separately cuz they're smaller and will dye faster.
Ooh - rubbing alcohol. Do I have any, or do I need to run to the store?
Gamblers feel free to start placing bets on how much (or little) I will actually get done.
My color choices are Blue Cake and Magical Purple. No, wait, I think I like Fallen Star better, and I can leave out the Sapphire Blue, cuz it will already be in the Blue Cake dye.
The embedded colors look terrible. I like the color on Rit's website better.
I'm using the "small item" recipe (it doesn't matter which item you choose - the recipe is the same, and yes, I clicked through every item to check) cuz I want a pastel hue. If I want deeper color, I can add with blushing.
Oh, and I want to draw up a stencil cutie mark to put on the hindquarters. I'm thinking masking tape for the big areas, and then liquid masking around the design. I'll keep the airbrush spray light and far away to minimize bleeding.
I forgot that I swapped the tail with someone and kept the brown tail. Oh well - airbrush paint should cover that.
No SHUT UP brain I am NOT making a magnetic tail.

Portraits of ‘Mary of Burgundy’-Part 2: Why so many?
Firstly I’d like to adress why the paintings are commonly mislabelled as Mary of Burgundy. It’s due to this pendant, which is then seen in portrait of her daughter Margaret of Austria. Realising paintings were 20+ years after she died, they then went with Margaret instead.
Tumblr media
But it’s 100% not all same sitter in all 12 portraits. And the picture in middle bellow is the reason. Juana of Castile is on sides-and the girl in middle has Juana’s nose and great deal of resemblence.
Tumblr media
Yet the paintings were created after Juana was locked up and there’d be no reason for this many portraits of her to be made in Netherlands. Most likely it is Juana’s daughter.
And we know from previous research that 3 Habsburg females looked nearly identical-Margaret, Eleanor and Isabella. And Mary’s features were pretty similiar too(in most depictions, this is bit of exception.).That is the reason why the women look so alike, they are Habsburg females!
But there were only 5 Habsburg females in total in correct timeframe(1510-1520). How could there be 12 depiction of them?!
My estimation for dating of these portraits is 1510-1514. Why?
-The paintings with black background were popular popular up to very late 1500s/early 1510s. After that we only see green, blue or picturesque background(at least in portraits of Netherlandish royalty)
Majority of these are workshop Master of Legend Magdalene, but one is probably by Coninxloo, who might have been new arival to the workshop. He died in 1513(after making fully or partially several royal portraits from early 1510s. In 1515 Bernard van Orley became Margaret’s favourite.
So for us to see style of mainly Master of Legend of Magdalene and bit of Coninxloo, strongly points to ealry 1510s. But if you really focus on it-there appear to be 4 diffferent hands at play(at least). But it’s same workshop 100%, And if my theory is correct, all hands would be needed to finish such big endavour.
Dating of c.1510-1514 is actually very important clue as to why so many portraits were made.
(But just small reminder, at this time the workshop kind of had issues with proporitions. So even though you might think in all 9 paintings is an adult, it might not be!)
There are 3 pairs of paintings-which are virtually same in almost  every aspect.
Try spot the difference in these two(i’ll tell you in just moment):
Tumblr media
Here the colour of hennin is different and one hallo is missing(probably painted out):
Tumblr media
Here chest brooch has different shape-round vs diamond-shaped(could be alteration), the halo on left is partly painted out:
Tumblr media
The first two are almost exactly the same, except different hues of some colours, which can be entirely due to darkening of the pigments and paintings being kept in different conditions.
But on left is version from UK, and on right is version from USA:
Tumblr media
If i said that on right the painting is prior to conservation and on left after, you’d believe it 100%. They are beyond similiar and clearly done at exact same time. The american version is slightly smaller actually(probably sides were cut off), but because it is in poorer condition, i could not scale it down without details hiding away in the damage.
There is several details one should focus about:
-sorry i switched sides by accident(and am too lazy to redo it all)
Overall details of headwear(patterns on ‘hennin’, styling of ‘donut’)+lack of halo:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Because I assure you, in those 9 paintings, not all those details are same.
Long story short:
There are at least 4 different patterns of fabric, possibly 5.
Tumblr media
(I am not sure if violet one is supposed to look as green one, or if it is its own pattern).
Further more provenly 2 styles of chains:s
Tumblr media
2 styles of jars(dark green and light one):
Tumblr media
3-4 style of chest jewels(diamond, round, clover, + possibly cross shaped)
Tumblr media
and 2 styles of the henin:
Tumblr media
2 different linings of under-parlet(dash line vs golden trim)
Tumblr media
+one partlet is covering way more than in all other versions
Hands are painted in 2 different ways(on left more straight, on right more bend):
Tumblr media
3 different pendants, once pendant hidden in clevage(hence only its ribon is visible+ that much bigger partlet) or no pendant.(5 different styles)
Tumblr media
Plus 4 paintings have 1-2 more jewels in chest area.
But why?! Why would you make so many paintings, yet differentiate them?
And why sometimes(or possibly always) two versions of same painting?
Mass production doesn’t cut it. Just by glance, you can tell those are Habsburg features and royals liked to be depicted as various saints. But why multiple versions?
I have tried hard for weeks to come up with logical explanation and I can think of only one reason, one theory which would explain it all. A logical reason which fits the dating-early 1510s.
-Portraits for potential groom to pick bride from.
Yes, sometimes literally the grooms picked from the portraits the one he liked better. For example King Vladislaus II of Bohemia and Hungary(and Croatia) was offered two french brides-cousins. Anne of Foix-Candale and Germaine of Foix, but he picked Anne which according to him was prettier and Germaine later married Ferdinad II of Aragon.
But he only met Anne in person after she was married to him by proxy, and after she was crowned Queen of Hungary. So he must have picked her from portrait.
Habsburg females had almost identical looks, so they must have went to greater lenght to ensure portraits are not mixed up.
(Because even person who knew them could get it wrong.)
It’s likely that it was required(or expected) to dress the sitters same. But with 4-5 potential bride, they had to add very subtle differences to act as clues for probably ambassadors, so they could check if it is indeed girl they think it is.
If the portraits are ment for 2-3 different foreign courts, for two or three grooms to pick from, it’d explain why 2-3 versions of same portrait would always be created.
Would there be enough royal courts with unmarried royal males in between 1510-1514?
-Yes. Actually 6 courts had unmarried men-these included:
Christian II, King of Denmark, Norway and Sweden, born in 1481,       m. 1514 to Isabella of Austria
Sigismund I, King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania,               born in 1467, m. in 1512 to Barbara Zápolya
Louis XII, King of France, born in 1462, was widowed in 1514, m. as 3rd wife Mary Rose Tudor in 1514
Vladislaus II, King of Bohemia, Croatia and Hungary, born in 1471 widowed since 1506
his son and heir, future Louis II, born in 1506-m. Mary of Austria
heir of Portugal,  future John III of Portugal-m. Catherine of Austria
heir of Navarre, future Henry II of Navarre(unlikely)
Another royal male would be future Francis I of France-de facto heir of Louis XII. France forbidden women from inheriting, so neither of two daughters of Louis XII by Anne of Brittany could inherit, and Francis was the presumed heir to the throne. But French didn’t want to loose Britanny so Francis and Claude(the eldest daughter of Anne of Britanny) were engaged and it was clear they would marry. Hence I didn’t include him.
Ferdinand II of Aragon taken Navarre in 1512 and proclaimed himself its King, so it is highly unlikely negotations would have take place with Navarre.
By the way Mary of Austria was engaged to Louis II since before he was born(in 1506). So you might think, well her portraits should not be made, she was taken already. That’s not how royal bethrohals worked. Surprisingly often they got cancelled or brides/grooms switched etc.
But since she was picked, why would they sent her sisters to Bohemian-Hungarian court? Possibly to strenghten the alliance, by double match(or tripple-King Vladislaus had daughter) with intention to marry one of girls to widowed King. I will get into details as to why that alliance was so important, when I will do Geography of HRE and Bohemia.
Given that total amount of paintings is 12 and not 9, i think it is more likely we are looking at portraits intended for 3 courts, but that depends on number of sitters. 12 paintings with 4 sitters would fit nicely to 3 courts.
But had it been 5 sitters, then even if we assume first one is inspiration, we have one too many. Could be that one is a copy and not an original(but would fool me), or that several paintings were destroyed (fire or bombing in WW2 or theft are usual reasons for that).
Yet due to quality of photos of some of those 9, I am not sure if we are looking at 4 or 5 sitters. And had it been 5, it doesn’t help idenfication.
(We know from previous research that Margaret of Austria was depicted in one tapestry with 4 girls-all dressed same, yet she only raised 3 of her nieces. And we have no idea who could be the 4th. Unless of course there never was 4th girl truly with her, they just included Catalina at least in the spirit-depicted her with rest of them.)
We can group the paintings together based upon the patterns of the fabric on gown(I assume always the same one was assigned to each girl/woman):
Sitter A:
Tumblr media
judging by features Margaret, Eleanor or Isabella
Pattern is five-petal flower with pointed petals
Tumblr media
Sitter B:
Tumblr media
This one might suggest portraits were sent to 3 courts and not just 2, because we have same sitter 3 times. But if this is indeed predates the rest of  paintings:
Tumblr media
Then possibly we’re looking at just 2.
I don’t think it could be Margaret, but realistically it could be any of the girls (despite the youthful face-that is actually normal for that family).
Personally i am wondering if it could Catherine. Mainly because to paint her, a workshop member would have to travel to Spain and then that workshop member would not be included in making of the rest. Perhaps he took with himself the painting in middle with him as guide for the outfit, but had free hand in the face. Then returning 2nd paintig of her was created, with different outfit, and face more style of master of legend of magdalene.
But I can be wrong.Idk, tbh.
Pattern is some flower with 6 round petals
Tumblr media

I know from my previous post that Juana’s nose was inherited only by Mary.
However Catherine’s nose from front was same too. But from side she had unfortuntely the same raise as Emperor Maxmillian. And since these would be painted probably in early 1510s, she’d be still a child and the nose’s raise might have not shown fully yet. So I cannot be 100% sure it isn’t her. Hence it is probably Mary or Catherine.
Pattern is sun? or flower with 6-8 very narrow petals:

Honestly, I have no idea. Could be any of them.
Tumblr media
Pattern is clearly flower with five oddly shaped petals, could be cornflower
Sitter F:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pattern we cannot tell conclusively. Looks like oddly shaped bird to me. Or some tentacle monster.
Tumblr media
And sometimes it seems to me like there are 5 pentacles rather than 4.
Since all previous ones appear to be showing flower it’s logical for this one to be as well. Flowers with just 4 petals exists actually, but all previous ones had 5+ petals. Hence idk what to think. Maybe the flower has some very specific shape, plenty do!
Idk what pattern do you think this is?
Tumblr media
This time I might know which woman it might be. But I am not certain of it.
However in Ashwellthorpe triptych(on right bellow) Margaret was also painted kind of ugly. Don’t get me wrong, she had some unflattering depictions, but this one was kind of extreme. It makes me believe the painting was also intended to be viewed by foreign groom, and she bribed painter to make her look uglier.
Tumblr media
Thus the picture on left being the most ugly from the group could also potentially be her.I guessing here big time though.
But i am not certain of it, not even like 50%. Hence sadly this time I have to accept the defeat, I can’t identify them this time.
So my conslusion after all this research is that conclusive identification is impossible.  I can only identify the sitters as probably females of House Habsburg, unmarried in ealry 1510s. Which is all 5 of them!
Unless we find contemporary source which would specifically mention the differences in paintings and who is who.
Like letter to ambassador, explaining to him which female wears which pattern of fabric.  Or if the girls picked thir own flower, perhaps we could find it depicted upon some personal item.
Otherwise we cannot be sure who the sitters are.
I hope you have enjoyed it.

Description: **The riveting memoir of a Vietnam War helicopter pilot. “When you step into a Huey with Tom Johnson, you’re in for the real thing. No one has previously captured the Vietnam helicopter experience with such gripping authority.”—Robert F. Dorr, author of Chopper   **   From June 1967 to June 1968, Tom Johnson accumulated an astonishing 1,600 flying hours piloting the UH-1 “Iroquois”—better known as the “Huey”—as part of the famous First Air Cavalry Division. His battalion was one of the most decorated units of the Vietnam War, and helped redefine modern warfare. Johnson’s riveting memoir takes us into key battles and rescue missions, including those for Hue and Khe Sanh. In harrowing detail, he tells of being shot down in the battle of A Shau Valley, of surviving enemy attacks during the Tet Offensive, and of a death-defying nighttime river rescue, in which only the bare feet of soldiers hanging off the Huey’s skids kept the helicopter from plunging under water. From dangerous missions to narrow escapes, Johnson’s memoir vividly captures the adrenaline rush and the horror of war, and takes you on a ride you’ll never forget.

Bee reference
Doing a proper reference of Bee, in a similar style to my other reference posts. Details here will be changed as the story progresses :)
This is pretty long as well lol
--
Age: 26 - Birthday: December 18th
Full name: Beatrice Gold Gubberson
Nicknames: Bee (is refered to this more than her real name), Wasp (somewhat hurtful, was used when she was angry and dangerous), Bea (what her family called her, the parts of the family that she doesn't like tho), Bumblebee (her dad James, and her uncle Owen, called her this), a variety of tall jokes/references from Scout
Pronouns: She/her
Romantic attraction/sexuality: Panromantic asexual
Nationality: Her mother's side is Norwegian, while her dad's side has lived in the USA for a while. So she is half Norwegian
Job: Ripperdoc (the best term I could find for it, it's from Cyberpunk (game)). She is nicknamed The Fairy and has worked as a ripperdoc for 5 years. She does high-quality work that gets paid a lot for, especially whenever she has a commission from the Institute, so she has the financial means to have lots of free time and work on personal projects that might be expensive
She wears glasses with those little magnifying glasses on the side for smaller jobs, and more ridiculous looking ones for bigger ones
Tumblr media
Powers: Healing powers. Manifests as small floating lights nicknamed "fireflies" and glowing eyes when used a lot. They manifest with a golden/yellow hue, to symbolize strong magic and happiness. Can heal organic material, but work best with flesh (humans/animals), and cloth almost doesn't work. They are highly calming, used mainly to calm people whenever she works on them as a ripperdoc. The fireflies act like how many people describe twitch chats in mcyt fanfics, and have been with Bee since her powers manifested at 10. Her mother had a similar power, but Bee's fireflies are able to physically interact with objects and living beings, and can be heard by others unless Bee doesn't use her powers or she quiets them
Bio family:
Mother: Abigail Gold Gubberson - extremely bad relationship (they haven't spoken at all in around 10 years), but Bee got her powers from her
Father: James Gubberson (deceased) - very good relationship when he was still alive, she was a daddy's girl. Died when Bee was 14, and the reason she has Milo. Although he didn't approve of how Owen tackled his show and how he saw his puppets, he tried to support his brother as much as possible, at least emotionally
Older sister & brother (twins): Lily & Oliver Gold Gubberson - bad relationship, being their mother's golden children and having a general snobby and “better than you” attitude they have nothing in common with their younger sisters. They are 3 years older than Bee, and therefore also not alive when the Handeemen was brought to life (although their mother was pregnant with them)
Younger brother: Simon Gold Gubberson - decent relationship, they don't talk much but at least they don't hate each other as Bee is with the rest of the still alive part of the family. He is 5 years younger than Bee
Uncle: Owen Gubberson (deceased) - good relationship, Owen was somewhat of a mentor and teacher to Bee, her inspiration for her craftsmanship. The older by 3 years of the Gubberson brothers. He left everything he owned to Bee. I will make Owen his own reference as well, as he is slightly different than canon
Grandfather: — Gubberson (unsure if he is alive or dead) - A cruel man, and as such he was not allowed contact with any of his grandchildren. All Bee knows about him is that he sent money to her uncle to fund his show as an “apology”, but that neither her uncle nor her dad has ever forgiven him for what he has done to them
Physical looks:
Curly, shoulder-length hair (dark brown) loose or tied up by a bandana
Gray eyes
Freckles
Tall and lanky, but has prominent muscles
Small chest
Clothes:
Usually dark colors
Sweatshirts and weird t-shirts (wack graphic designs)
Tons of hoodies, as the hood part of those are one of Scouts favorite places to be
A bandana around the neck, tying hair up, or just in the pocket (blue, with small white flowers embroidered on it)
Loose pants with huge pockets
Combat boots
Overalls with big pockets in front, where Scout likes to sit
Generally, if it has pockets, she would wear it
Formal clothes:
She has two different ones, the most common, and a traditional Norwegian one
Common: A black pinstripe suit with a little cape, something similar to this
Tumblr media
Traditional Norwegian clothing aka a “bunad”: A Oslo bunad, the light blue one (this is the one I have, so obviously my oc has one as well):
Tumblr media
Does not consider herself religious, but “believes in” a group of gods that is called “the Prime Court”. The reason she “believes in”, is because she has met one of the four gods in this one a couple of times. There's four of them, Lord Thedes god of Creations, Rex Iias god of Battle, Noen the Overseer, and Karin the goddess of Death
Vigilante: Her vigilante name is/was Nightlight. The only one aware that she did this was Owen, plus her group of friends (Percy, Alex, and Olive) who were also vigilantes. They mainly did smaller things, as the town wasn't too dangerous (the most dangerous part of town was around the Handeemen studio). She is retired as a vigilante though, only having used the suit and mechanical arms again to keep an eye on the Handeemen studio. She had a black anti-tear pants, a black hoodie, a full face mask, and mechanical arms similar to Doc Ock from spider man (imagine whichever you want, but I prefer the one from spiderverse)
Personality: Deeply caring and loyal. Usually takes on a mom friend role or an older sister figure in a group. Pretty smart both academically and emotionally. A pacifist (remember that if someone is a pacifist, it means they have the ability to harm. If they don't have the ability to harm, they are just harmless). Takes a lot of pride in her work, and it took a lot to get to where she is (she started doing that work around 16 years old). Love language is physical touch, acts of service, and quality time. Loves her friends and found family a lot, she would die for them. Sees Scout as a younger sister (they are also besties)
Sharing her room with Scout, from the beginning it's what made both of them feel the safest. They have the largest bedroom (and the largest bed, its kings size), and share the space pretty equally, although adjustments were made for Scout to reach places
