I got the Passion For Fashion brainworms, and since you're guilty for it you WILL get my headcannons.

Since Clockwork made them know spanish as if it was their first language, they only talk in spanish with eachother, more often than not completely forgetting that they are talking in SPANISH.

Danny and Dan like bickering and banter but since they were basically eachother once upon a time they know eachother's limits perfectly. That causes them to say a lot of agressive and downright nasty stuff to eachother so it always sounds like they hate eachother and are constantly fighting.

Clockwork gave them the "essentials" for making clothes, so Dan will absolutely just spam Danny's phonenwith pictures and descriptions of a sewing gadget or tool and be like "Danny i need this. Please. I know you keep making stuff don't lie to me. I know you can do it so please just make it. Danny we are too poor to buy this. Danny PLEASE I need it" until Danny accepts making the thing in true Fenton fashion.

The pmoment Bruce decides to show some interest in the twins Danny go home running and be like "Dan. Dan I fuckked up. Dan there's another billionaire after us. Dan how do I always fuck this up." and since they're both dumbasses they panic together and the batkids (who are most likely listening in with a bug or smth) are all just laughing at Bruce's sour face.

Dan headcannons cuz i love him:

I think that even if they're identical twins, Dan has longer hair with a dark gray streak (cuz of vlad ofc)

even if he is a fashion maker he probably goes everywhere wearing sweatpants and a hoodie.

Dan forcefully makes Danny do skincare to make his appearance look good but will never even drink a glass of water for his own health.

Danny and Dan not realizing they slipped into Spanish is such a mood tbh. Sometimes, my coworkers and I do that, and my non Spanish speaking coworker just stares at us until we snap.

Lowkey they dislike each other, but they also love each other, and no one can tell with the insults they threw. Danny and Dan live and breath the "Only I can be mean to my sibling!"

Danny would make Dan anything he asked for if it meant keeping his Obsession healthy. On the one hand, it gives him something to do and, on the other hand, keeps Dan from jumping off the deep end again. He does get annoyed with Dan spamming him at three in the moring for "A machine that could double bedazzled and polish!"

Both kept their names as Danny and Dan, so neither is Daniel. Clockwork did that when he made their files. He knew if he tried to change their names, both would refuse to answer.

They turned Vlad into a verb. Danny trips over air? "You went and Vlad-ed everything bro" Dan refuses to shower cause he has some embroidery to do? "Ugh you Vlad-ed all of my scent receivers" sometimes when the fight is really big Danny will yell "YOUR JUST LIKE YOUR FATHER VLAD!" and Dan will gasp dramatically before bursting into tears. ( Cause he took Vlad ghost that makes him half vlad and Dan has to live with that)

Bruce would never understand why the twins are more freaked out by Brucie Wayne then Batman. His kids think it's hilarious.

Dan and Danny are identical down to the hairstyle in my au, but That will change with time. Dan will grow out his hair to put it in a man bun, while Danny will cut it short. And yes, Dan wears nothing by sweats or PJs. He doesn't care about the clothes after they are finished. He just likes making them.

Dan was a pure ghost for almost ten years before Clockwork messed with his body and threw it back into its teens. He is not used to doing most basic human needs like showering, eating, sleeping, and, of course, drinking water. Danny has to remind him his headache is due to lake of all the things mentioned. That will not stop him from designing a strict beauty regime for Danny, including hourly water intake.

Last little detail, both are terrible at social interactions. Dan beacuse he thinks of himself as a ghost and doesn't like humans so he avoids them if he can and Danny cause he sees everyone as unimportant since he's planning on going home. Neither of them know anything about Batman besides what clockwork told them. As of part 3 they didn't even know he was a vigilante. So this lake of information means they don't know anyhring about the rest of Gotham and that will play a big part in how they react to villains.

Also yes, Dan was being genuinely interested when he flirted with Killer Croc, but that's cause he thought he was a EverBurning. A group of Lizard men in the ghost zone is similar to the FarFrozen society only they live in volcano surrounded by lava.

It sounds strange but, it just works when neither parties know where they are going, nor do they try too hard to stir the boat somewhere specific. It's the kind loose committal relationship that deepen slowly overtime, like the sediment at the bottom of a river.

Story Summary: Tim and Danny are both neglected by parents who care more about their work than their families. They deal with this by spending too much time online and find each other playing MMORPGs. They keep up their friendship as Tim becomes Robin and Danny becomes Phantom and don't bother keeping secrets from each other.

As they walked to the burger joint, Danny would point out areas of damage and talk about the fight that caused it. Tim kept track of every comment and was already trying to think of methods to minimize it in the future.

His friends were eating the stories up. Bart especially had way too much fun asking about Danny’s crazy rogues. Skulker was his current favorite. “He wants your pelt?”

“I know, right? He’s so extra.” Then Danny pointed up ahead. “We’re almost there. You can see the building from here. And those two people are my friends.” Danny waved a hand in the air and two teens, one dressed all in black and the other in yellow, waved back.

Danny sped up and soon it was Tim’s turn to give introductions. “Hi! You must be Sam and Tucker. I’ve heard so much about you guys from Danny. These are my friends, Conner, Bart, and Cassie.”

Sam shook his hand. “From Gotham, right? I love the vibes there. What I wouldn’t do for a single good gargoyle in Amity.”

Tim laughed. “I think that’s the first time anyone’s ever said that to me. Most people try and say they’re sorry for me growing up there. As if Gotham isn’t my home.”

Tucker elbowed her. “That’s our resident goth for you. I’m the tech guy. I’d go just for a chance to check out Wayne Enterprises. The stuff they produce”—he held his hands to his chest—“I’d be in heaven.”

Conner grinned. “Well I’m sure Tim could pull a few strings to get you a tour, what with being Bruce Wayne’s foster kid and all.”

“Kon!” hissed Tim even as Tucker’s eyes lit up.

“Bruce Wayne is your foster dad? You must always get the newest tech. Can I see your phone? At least check out the specs? What I’ve heard of it is to die for! Wait, Danny, is that the phone you were working on? Is she as beautiful as they say?”

Danny groaned and rushed to slap a hand over Tucker’s mouth. “Licking my hand isn’t gonna work, Tuck! Quit gushing at my friend. Tim is interested in an ectobattery, so we’ll stop by your place before returning to my home to grab some for everyone. Then you can at least see the hardware. But you won’t be looking at the software. Capiche?”

Tim glared at Conner as Danny let go of Tucker’s mouth.

“Fine.” Tucker pouted even as he aquiesed.

Sam rolled her eyes. “Quit your fanboying, Tucker. It’s embarrassing.” Then she greeted everyone else. To Conner, she said, “Cool look. Are you actually punk or just taking the aesthetic?”

Conner’s eyes were wide and he looked over to Tim who just shrugged at him. “I— um, I don’t know. What does it mean to be actually punk?”

Sam grinned and opened her mouth, but before she could start talking, Tucker interrupted. “Let’s go in and order. I want my meat and you can continue this conversation inside.”

“Boys!" Sam threw her hands up in the air. "If you ate something besides meat, you’d have more stamina to keep up!”

Tim bit his lip to hold back a laugh. They really were just like Danny said.

Danny groaned. “Sam! Tuck! It’s fine. Lets go in and place our orders. Then you can lecture Conner all about counterculturalism and punk values.”

Conner looked between them all. “Wait, why am I getting a lecture?”

Tucker shook his head. “Dude, you’re the one who asked Sam about what makes someone punk. You’re not getting out of this one.”

Danny made a noise of agreement. “But don’t worry, Sam makes her lectures interesting at least. Enjoy being radicalized!”

Tim put his arm around Conner. “Let me know if you need to get out of it.”

As they made their way inside, Tucker moved so he was walking next to Cassie. “So, Cassie, right? Where are you from?” His voice was pitched low.

Wow, so Tucker really was as bad at flirting as Danny always said.

Cassie realized something was up, and her tone was wary as she answered, “Um, Gateway City. You ever been?”

Tim looked over his shoulder and raised and eyebrow at her, silently asking if she wanted him to intervene. She shook her head slightly and twitched a finger towards Bart who was on her other side.

“Hey!” called an unfamiliar voice. “Watch it, Fentina!”

Tim turned forward just in time to catch Danny who’d been shoved backwards by a boy as big as Conner.

“Really?” asked Danny. He squeezed Tim’s hand as he got his balance back. “What was that for?”

Tim took a step forward and made a show of sizing the boy up. “You must be Dash. Danny’s told me a lot about you.”

Dash sneered at him. “And who are you? Some other nerd?”

Conner stood taller at his side and he felt Cassie and Bart take up positions just behind him. Cassie was the one to snort and quip, “Nerd? What decade are you from? The eighties wants its insult back. Or was that a seventies thing?”

Tucker snickered. “Yeah, Dash. Nerds rule the world right now.”

“Well you don’t rule high school,” said Dash, crossing his arms.

An equally large Asian boy took position next to him. “Yeah, we’re in charge for now. So move it.”

Danny bristled next to him. “I wasn’t even in your way!”

Tim cleared his throat. “Dash Baxter, right? Oldest child of Zachary and Alice Baxter. Dog named Poo—” Danny slammed a hand over Tim’s mouth and he glared at his friend.

“Oh my god, Secrets! What have you done? I swear to god, if you keep going…”

Behind them, he heard Bart laugh and say, “And that’s Bingo for me!”

“Well, damn,” replied Conner. “And I was so close.” If he wasn’t so pissed off at Dash, he would’ve rolled his eyes at their antics. He was so not at risk of going evil.

Dash was staring at all of them, mouth open. “Who are you?”

So Tim spoke into the hand over his mouth as he glared back at Danny. “He deserves it.”

“Nope, don’t care.” To Dash, Danny said, “This is a friend of mine. He and his friends are visiting from out of town.”

But of course things couldn’t just be left at that. Tucker spoke up to add, “He’s Tim Drake. His foster dad is Bruce Wayne.”

Danny turned his glare on his friend. “Tucker,” he hissed.

“What?” the boy shot back. “It’s true!”

Dash snorted. “Right. I’m just supposed to believe you’re friends with a kid of the Bruce Wayne.”

“You don’t have to believe anything,” retorted Danny. “Just let us go order our food in peace. I’m just trying to have a fun evening with my friends.”

Dash glared at him again, but his eyes flicked to the rest of them, lingering especially long on Conner. “You’ll regret lying to us, losers. Come on, Kwan. I need a shower after touching the twink.”

Tim twisted out of Danny’s hand. “What the fuck did you just call him?”

But the two boys didn’t turn around as they stopped out of the restaurant and Danny gripped his bicep and Conner put a restraining arm around his shoulders.

“It’s fine, Tim,” said Danny. “You know they’re always like that.”

“Say the word, Polaris, and I’ll do it.”

But Danny just shook his head and started pulling him towards the counter. “Let’s just order our food and sit down so Sam can give Conner her lecture on what punk is.”

Tim clenched his teeth, but allowed himself to be pulled to the counter where they ordered an obscene amount of food thanks to the appetite of four metas. He insisted on using B’s card to pay for everyone.

Next

This scene was a ton of fun to write. And Tim gets to meet Danny's bullies in person for the first time. He has several years of pent up frustration from the stories Danny shared.

the two of you have been friends for the longest of time, had classes together and hung out with the same people.

you two would jokingly flirt with each other and some small kisses would be given here and there.

you didn't think much of it until it was almost time for senior prom. 

“Who are you thinking of taking to prom, Jamie?” you asked him with a playful smile on your face.

“Quit callin’ me that.” He tries to sound intimidating, but he can’t help but smile back at you.

“Well? "Who is it?” You want it to seem like you’re genuinely interested, but the only reason you’re asking is because you want to know if the thing between the two of you could be something real. 

“I don’t…  I haven’t asked anyone yet.”

Hopefully he finally grows some balls and asks you. 

It was a few days before prom and you were actually thinking you and James weren’t going to work. And you were really upset about it. You and James weren’t hanging out as much, and it was really fucking with you.

until… you heard tapping against your window. 

James was throwing rocks against your window! He's here! at your house! again, finally!!!

he climbed up the drainpipe clumsily, (how cute). He handed you his Iron Maiden ‘Killers’ vinyl first and then crawled in. 

“what’s this?” you grinned.

“What do you mean, ‘what is that?’. It’s Iron Maiden!” He was breathing heavily and his cheeks were bright red. 

“Yeah, I know that, dumbass!” You giggled. “ Why did you bring it?” 

“Open it!” 

You took the lp out of the art cover and on the protection cover there was a text, written in James’ messy yet perfect handwriting. “Will you go to prom with me? x Jaymz” 

“You dork! of course I will!” You wrapped your arms around him and you must’ve kissed him a thousand times. 

Both of your lips were sore from kissing that night.

When the time came, both of you were all dressed up. (80s prom was something else). matching corsages and he wore a tie that matched with your dress. 

He picked you up in his brother's car and he was a blushing and stuttering mess. (so were you).

His hair was a little messy, so it was obvious he tried to do something different with it. you told him you liked his hair this way and he thanked you shyly with a kiss on the cheek. 

The school’s gym was transformed into a dance floor and there were beautiful decorations on the walls and ceiling. there were your typical snacks and drinks, (which were obviously spiked). but the two of you had already brought your own drinks. 

you had a lot of fun with each other and your friends! dancing and singing your heart out to your favorite songs. 

you were looking forward to the somewhat slower songs, because that meant slow dancing with James. 

he’s not a great dancer, you didn’t care though. you just wanted to be close to him. 

after all that the two of you make out underneath the bleachers, just like in the movies. 

he asks you to be his girlfriend after the make out sesh. 

“I was wondering….” James starts. 

"Yeah?" you try to catch your breath after the intensive kissing. 

He traces his fingers over your dress, drawing a pattern. He doesn’t look at you until he speaks again.

“do you…. want to be my girlfriend?” he blushes. 

“Thought you’d never ask~”

seal the deal with a kiss. (again)

I wouldn’t be able to stop kissing him either.

If you ask me, date night is literally just MC joining him on a tour of the safari park. And sometimes its taking care of the anomalous animals together. What could be more romantic than cleaning animal cages together!

He's a little bit of an airhead and I don't necessarily think he's the brightest, but he's kind of like Mammon from Obey Me I think. If it has to do with money, he's suddenly a math GENIUS. So he knows where to get the best deals on things, ie gifts for his partner.

MC is the ONLY ONE that Peakaboo will cuddle with and it melts Haru's heart every single time. He has so many pictures of them cuddling and its his lock and home screen picture.

I hope MC is okay with having a "where's my kiddo" tracker on them. He just gets really worried about them and he wants to know they're okay.

TOWA OTONASHI

Towa is an interesting case in more ways than one. He is very affectionate with his partner but there's a part of him that doesn't know if it'll last. Not because he doesn't like/love MC, no not at all. But things in his life have skewed his perception of love so he's always worried something will break them up.

He will keep calling them his dandelion and every time he finds one he will either feed it to them or he will have them hold it so that he can eat it. Very romantic.

Whenever MC is around its always sunny and happy. If they're having fun but MC has to leave it WILL start to rain and finally if MC is hurt or someone makes them cry.....expect a full on thunderstorm.

Towa dates could literally be anything: cuddling on his favorite hill, making lunch, playing with animals, etc. He just loves spending time with them.

He is their new ride or die. He will do almost ANYTHING to make sure his dandelion is safe and happy. He just loves them SO SO SOOOO much!

REN SHIRANAMI

Ren gives me STRONG germaphobe vibes. So it might take some time and some convincing to hold their hand and to cuddle. He eventually grows to enjoy it though.

Date nights consist of the both of them doing your own thing in the same room, gaming together, or making fun of bad horror movies together.

If MC isn't a gamer he will do his DAMNEST to try and get them onto it. It might take some time for him to join a guild with them (he can't just nerf his rank for them sorry) and I mean like MMORPGS, FPS games, etc.

If they are a gamer he will be VERY competitive with them and challenge them to games whenever he gets the chance.

He'd never admit it but he likes it when they visit him at work at the diner. It makes his shifts a little more bearable. So it becomes their thing. They visit him and work and hang out.

If you’re just looking for a fun goofy time with someone you love, this game can do that for you.

This Tabletop RPG is about about the clash of over-sized personalities between shapeshifters who can assume human or dragon form, or anything in between. It's GMless—meaning everyone has equal narrative authority—and plays best over one or two 3-4 hour sessions, with 3-4 players. 

As a Firebrands hack, Dragonhearts is rather poetic in its character creation and plays through a series of mini games. These mini games include fights, rituals, moments of intimacy, competitions and more - and most of them can be played in whatever order makes sense for your story. With friends and a game master, you'll make your own clay, paper, or other kind of handcrafted dragon and work together to solve problems and tell stories using your own imagination or the random adventure generation table within.

This is a quick little game with easy-to-generate characters and goals. You’ll create a house together and then do your best to protect it from forces such as an ominous neighbour or a a dangerous creature, from doing things such as ruining brunch or capturing the family pet. This is a great little game, perfect for one-shots and pick-up games.

as the @original-character-championship bracket begins, I would like to take the time to introduce you to her. go on. take a seat.

Sister Virtue is a not-quite woman not-quite of the cloth with a bit of a scowl and an unholy attitude problem. Formerly a cherub known as Theophania serving in the appellate choirs of heaven, she judged human souls and debated the dogma of heaven day in and day out.

Although a perfect machine of heaven, Theophania was not heartless. Through her friendship with the Archangel Gabriel, whom represents human souls and their interests in the courts of heaven, she learned about those she judged.

And I am going to let you in on a secret. Angels and demons are both creatures of passion, just their passion turns in different ways. Demons experience passion for the self. Angels turn their passion towards God. And for Theophania, her passion turned in a different way-- towards those silly little animals whom she watched day in and day out. (Even you!)

So when Gabriel came lamenting of the Seraphim's decision to bring forth the end of humanity, she may have done something a bit drastic. Drastic like stealing the Eye of God, an important artifact containing the summation of all knowledge, and then slamming it into her own skull in order to hold it hostage and kick up enough of a fuss that the angels acquiesced and agreed to come to some sort of truce. The ultimate blasphemy.

She would be felled. If she cared so much about those silly, stupid animals, she could spend the rest of eternity proving they were worth it. Shoved into a body made of flesh and her powers largely sealed behind seven penances, Sister Virtue is tasked with protecting humanity from all threats divine or diabolic. She cannot die; [officially banned to prevent any loopholes or complicated litigation later] but she can give up... but doing so would mean damning all of humanity in the entire process.

After crash-landing into a convent and taking the administrative lead of the attached school (now known as Eschaton Academy) Sister Virtue is establishing a network of those both blessed and possessed to aid her in the arduous process of keeping people safe, all while trying to figure out what it means to be human herself.

So Why should you vote for her?

Let's face it, we're not in high school any more.

Coming of age stories for teens are fun, but sometimes... you don't really start coming of age until your 20's, 30's, 40's... Virtue, 37 human years old, is here to show the journey of growing into your skin even if that comes after high school.

2. She's hot as hell.

A nun in her work uniform, Sister Virtue at heart is a truckin', smokin', wrestlin' uncle of a woman, and her casual attitude and casual attire reflect this. And let's face it. A woman who hates wearing shirts and has a happy trail is a god-sent gift for all of us.

3. She's just a bit weird.

She named her car (a self-"upgraded" hearse) the Popemobile. She smokes cigarettes because she likes the taste. She doesn't mind nudity, but gets shy eating in public because digestion is just a little too intimate for an angel. She loves paperwork. Sometimes she regurgitates the angel equivalent of a hairball.

4. Don't know about all this original universe lore? She's got a D&D Iteration.

Thank you 😊 I'm very happy to hear you love the AU. Yes Mario, DK, and Toad as a trio has so much potential for fun and chaos 🤭.

To answer your questions:

1. Lonely (for both bros) ;_; For Mario, on top of his memory loss, no one ever came to claim him when he was growing up in the orphanage. He was left for many years wondering of there was anyone out there who cared about him, who loved him, but they never came forward. The only reason he never gave up hope was his music box. It's so well made that surely that means he came from a good family? And why would it not be important if he was found with it in the first place? It all makes him all the more determined to find out.

Luigi on the other hand, spends years mourning over his lost twin. He knows Mario isn't dead - he can just sense it. But if that is the case, where is he? Why is he so certain that someone who has never been found is still out there? Rarely does he ever smile. He can't without his brother. On top of that, he is racked with guilt - his mind cruely recounting the moment when Mario's hand slipped out of his, over and over again. He'll never forgive himself.

2. Oh yes, Mario does get his memories back, though some are a bit patchy. Most of the memories to return fully are ones that concern his brother 🤗 For ones like with his parents, Luigi has to show him photos from albums that managed to be saved, and slowly the gaps start filling in.

Scale love languages <3 i love him sm

-I fully believe that Scale has never dated anyone before you. So I honestly don't think he would know what he does/doesn't like until you start dating for real. It's a learning process for you both.

-Scale has spent a lot of time in the mindset that assassins don't have time for love or relationships. Assassins are loners. Assassins don't need anyone but themselves.

-So he's never really understood the point of dating and falling in love. You mean there's people out there who put their heart on the line? Who are vulnerable with other people?? On purpose????? Nope. No thanks. He's not interested.

-...Until you come along, of course. You certainly know how to shake things up, don't you?

-He tries for a long time to pretend that he's indifferent about you- as if you totally aren't completely rocking his world. Although, most of his apprehension just comes from paranoia/trying way too hard to seem cool.

-Once it finally gets through his head... He becomes a big fan of physical touch.

-It takes him some time to get used to, but he ends up really enjoying it. But only when the two of you are completely alone because he doesn't want the other assassins in his clan to make fun of him for being soft. No PDA for you.

-Just wants to lay his head on your shoulder and nap after a long mission. Likes it when you play with his hair

-Sleeping in the same bed comes with challenges, though. Some of those 'dragon' instincts stick around... One of them being laying on top of anything important to him like a hoard. This includes you. Expect Scale to lay on top of you in the middle of the night only to vehemently deny it in the morning.

-He likes taking you by surprise by sneaking up on you and then suddenly wrapping you up in a hug. He claims it's so that he can keep his stealth skills sharp, but it's actually just because he thinks you're cute.

-Surprisingly soft. He grows to really enjoy just cuddling and being close with you.

-He likes receiving words of affirmation, but he's really bad at returning the favor.

-For the most part, Scale is kinda cagey about admitting how he feels out loud.

-He can compliment your appearance just fine. You're hot, but that's obvious. Anyone with eyes can see that so it's not hard for him to point out. Very casual with compliments.

-But when it comes to actual feelings??? It's like pulling fucking teeth omg.

-How is he supposed to admit that your smile makes him feel warm and gooey inside??? That you've touched every aspect of his being and changed his life irreversibly? How can he tell you just how much he admires your bravery for sticking by his side even though it's dangerous? For loving him despite the blood on his hands?

-It's hard for him to be sincere with his feelings (For fear of being perceived as lame), and usually when he does admit it he's pretty blunt about it. It's kind of like he's trying to get it out and over with as fast as possible. (it's endearing though)

-Beneath the cool assassin persona he's... actually pretty lame. He's a total dork, but he doesn't seem to understand that that's something you love about him. He's really worried that you'll end up thinking he's boring and leaving, which is why he tries to hard to maintain this 'cool' persona.

-So, when you're upfront and tell him that you like him for who he is... Well, it makes him really happy.

-Good luck with gift giving. He sucks at it.

-What the hell do normal people like??? Do people these days still like healing potions?? Ancient scrolls? He has no idea!

-He's the type that will lament for days about what to get you for birthdays/anniversaries.

-I hope you like cool knives and daggers because that's what you're getting unless you tell him something specific.

-He's kind of indifferent about receiving gifts. Sure, he likes and appreciates it, but it's not the object itself that he cares about. It's more the fact that you know him well enough to get something that he really likes and that makes him feel fuzzy.

-His favorite love language is probably quality time.

-He works so much. Please help him relax.

-Scale feels most at ease when you're just hanging out together. He always has fun no matter what you're doing. Hell, he's content to just follow you around while you do stuff.

-Will trail behind you while you do chores, chatting about this or that.

-He loves doing activities together. Scale forgot during assassin training how fun normal people things could be! The two of you will have very frequent dates doing all sorts of things.

-No matter what it is, he's down. Berry picking? Sure! Laser tag? Hell yeah! Mini golf? Say no more!

-You've really opened his eyes in a lot of ways, but he especially appreciates you teaching him to let loose and have some fun instead of always thinking about work.

-He may struggle with words and gifts, but Scale is incredible at acts of service.

-Scale will do anything for you. Absolutely anything. Need someone dead? He's your guy! He won't even charge you for his services!

-Since he's still figuring out this whole 'love' business, it'll help if you lowkey give him orders. Telling him exactly what you want him to do makes things a lot easier for him.

-Sometimes he'll just linger around you like he's waiting to receive an order. Won't think twice about doing anything you ask. He likes to feel helpful and needed.

-He's the type to be snarky and say no if you ask him to get you something, while actively getting that thing.

-"Scale, can you get me some water?" "No." (He's already halfway to the kitchen.)

-What can I say, he's eager to please. To him, little acts of service are the easiest way for him to really show that he loves you. He doesn't take orders from just anyone, after all.

Deuce Spade

He is very surprised at how quickly you adapt to the customs of Twisted Wonderland. You never let your mind rest and were always doing something productive, whether it be the homework or reading up on local traditions and cultural norms.

He absolutely adores your mind. You are resourceful, intelligent, and inventive. He helps you on many projects because he is talented at machinery. The amount of machines you made to help make your life easier at Ramshackle is astonishing to him, but it just goes to show that the two of you work great as a team.

The first time he saw you tie your hair back with a nearby ribbon, he found it kind of attractive. I headcanon him as one of those guys who always carries hair ties for their girlfriend, and whenever there is a project you work on, you always gently grab his arm to take one of the hair ties.

Deuce made it a personal goal to try not to disappoint you by getting into a fight. Whenever he does, he hates the angry look on your face. He looks like a scolded puppy. He can’t deny that he feels warm inside whenever you hold his face while scanning for injuries.

He always grows worried whenever you argue with Riddle about his unfair rules. However, you always manage to manipulate your words to create a loophole that you can call the housewarden out on. It leaves both of them shocked, the former being proud as well and the latter being furious.

He honestly thought you looked beautiful in the dresses you always wore. He doesn’t really care if it’s contradictory to most people’s standards and expectations of you since you dress that way, because Twisted Wonderland is a place where what’s normal there is upside down in your world. Doesn’t refer to you as a tomboy.

Jamil Viper

He is glad that you are adjusting so well to this new environment (new for you, at least). It was interesting, because if he were in your shoes he would most definitely be struggling. He makes a mental note to not underestimate your abilities.

He wants to understand how your mind works. Your thoughts seem to be well-organized while also maintaining creativity. You’ve designed machines that allowed Jamil to save time in doing his chores so that he would have more time to spend relaxing.

One day, he had asked you to help him create a dish to serve for dinner at Scarabia. This was a lot of trust that he was placing into your hands, and you were able to recognize that. So, you took a ribbon, tied your hair back, and closed your eyes to concentrate. Jamil does something similar, but it’s mainly to keep his hair out of the way. Again, he carries hair ties for you and himself.

He experienced your glare of disapproval when he overworked himself well into the night. He hadn’t drank water, so he was on the verge of passing out. The next day, he was sick and you were called over to tend to him. Jamil admits that he doesn’t like disappointing you.

You both have playful ‘arguments’ with each other, mainly when you’re both laying in his bed, your head on his chest as you both cuddle. You always manage to win because you always catch him in a loophole. Whenever you do this, he obnoxiously sighs out loud as he admits defeat.

To him, you are worth more than all the gold Scarabia’s treasury holds. He would give up his position as Vice Housewarden if you asked him to. When you both go on a late-night date in secret and you show up in one of your dresses, he’s just reminded of how much effort you both put into this relationship. 

Rook Hunt

He offers his services in case you are ever in need of answers about this strange new land you appeared in. However, he is shocked when you seem to be doing exceptionally well. You even managed to surpass a few second and third years in academics.

Your mind is a mysterious beauty and Rook wants your permission to explore it. You gravitate towards mechanical objects, and this reflects itself whenever you are faced with any type of problem. The hunter is very intrigued whenever he sees your brain’s gears turning because he knows that your solution would be unconventional but successful.

Whenever he has the blessing of seeing you tie your hair back, he just gazes at you with such a loving look. He finds this simple action to be one of the hottest things you can do. He doesn’t even know why, just pardon his staring. If you ever let him tie your hair up, he will melt. Exaggerated displays of affection would pour out immediately.

You gave him the glare of disappointment when Leona came to you to complain about Rook stalking him… for the third time this week. The hunter can say that he was genuinely scared to see you angry. He would try to distract you by pressing light kisses from your fingers all the way up to your shoulder, until you push him away.

You realize that a lot of the students like to treat you in a disrespectful manner because 1) you’re a girl and 2) you don’t have a natural affinity for magic. You always call them out and fight against them, and Rook supports you to the very end. After all, it can’t be easy to go through this. 

He thinks you look adorable in the dresses you wear. They tend to be more modest and ‘traditional’, and it reminds him of the type of clothing that women would wear in old romance movies. He always loved that genre because (I headcanon that) his dream is to settle down with son âme sœur, who is you in this case. Whenever this thought crosses his mind, he gets a tad bit more touchy-feely.

Idia Shroud

To be able to adapt so quickly to the new environment you were placed in is probably an achievement he would never be able to obtain. You were on a whole other level, diving head-first into your new (temporary) home.

He gets to experience the wonder that your mind is when he asks you to help him upgrade Ortho. Just by taking a single glance, you were able to estimate the tools you would need with no error. Plus, you weren’t afraid to get your hands dirty.

It was here where he experienced you tying your hair back with a ribbon you brought with you. He didn’t expect to feel like a normie and find it so freaking attractive, but here he was. The ends of his hair and his cheeks turned a bit pink in response.

He experienced your gaze of displeasure when you found out that he wasn’t taking care of himself. He had stayed up for multiple nights in a row while surviving off of energy drinks. Since Idia doesn’t like it when you’re angry at him, he promises to do better.

He notices how you act super innocent and lure others into your trap. I don’t mean this in a negative way, because what you do is you act nice to manipulate any situation so that it is in your favor. You had to make do with what you had since you still don’t have magic, but Idia is impressed.

One time, he had invited you to a secluded area for a date. You arrived in one of your dresses, and he thought you looked breathtaking. You looked just like a dream, one that he didn’t want to wake up from. There, you both just watched the stars as you both talked and enjoyed each other’s company.

Hi! for the tier list, I can't decide between Leon/Arthur and Leon/Gwaine. I can't remember if I've actually seen fics with only these ships but they've crossed my mind. Or if you want a canon one Merlin/Freya. Your pick!

Why not both?

Starting with Leon/Gwaine. I don't hate it! I can see where they meet some popular tropes: chaos/straight laced, opposites attract, dumbass/that's my dubmbass. knight4knight. I can see it working as a friends with benefits situation, or a hooking up while on patrol situation. However, I don't personally see it as a long term, in depth ship with a lot of romance. I think for them its more about convenience and fun than an actual desire to commit to each other.

Frankly, I think long term Gwaine would drive Leon insane.

It would have been a C-Tier ship, but for reasons I will explain at the end, both ships are knocked down a tier for the same reason. I rank this:

D-Tier

For Arthur/Leon... Okay so I've been pondering this ship lately. I enjoy the headcanon that Leon was like an older brother to Arthur as they were growing up. (Is there canon evidence for that? Not really. Do I care? No.) So leading off that heacanon, we can get some lovely childhood sweethearts happening. We can also go the awkward exes route where as they grow up, they realize how often they are in competition with each other and how not conducive that is for a long term relationship. There is also potential angst for Leon knowing better than most that Arthur cannot marry someone who can't give him heirs.

I haven't found quite the right fic idea for it yet, but it is brewing. So I rank this:

C-Tier

The reason both of these are dropped a tier is that I'm just not a big fan of Leon. He strikes me as a bootlicker, and not in a fun, sexy way. He's kind of boring to me, and way too into supporting Uther. Because of my 'he's fine' attitude towards him, that means Arthur and Gwaine are sustaining the ship, and I prefer ships where I'm genuinely interested in both parties.

Shiva X Reader

(This is just a little something I did based off an OC of mine I plan to elaborate on over on my Ao3, I did this as a reader insert and if you're interested in seeing what OC of mine this is based on hop over to Ao3 or drop a comment and I'll drop her Bio!)

The little sea nymph skipped through the halls of Helheim, searching for her dear uncle Hades in need of advice in regard to her father Poseidon. Hades was the uncle that watched her most as a child when her father was busy, so she was a normal face to see in the underworld as she often visited and came to him for sound advice on things she wasn't comfortable bringing to her father. "Lady (Y/n)? I didn't know you were here." This had been her older cousin Hermes; despite her smaller stature she was only a couple hundred years younger. "I came to see Uncle Hades; do you know if he's in the throne room." The young woman turned to face the tall male, arms crossing in front of her as she rocked on her heels. The older male chuckled, nodding his head as he pointed down the hall. "Yes, he is, I just came from there to deliver a message from Lord Zeus. Is everything ok?" This made the girl giggle; she knew how much of a gossip her cousin could be, so she decided to tease him some. "Oh yes, I just need some advice on approaching my father about something." That clearly got the male's attention as he crossed his arms and cocked a brow, leaning forward some. "Oh? I do hope you aren't in trouble. You've always been such a good girl." The male was now teasing back, causing twin grins to break across their faces. Of course, their teasing was all in good fun, both were quite friendly when they'd see each other. "No, no trouble just… I believe I've found the relationship I would like to be in." She was purposely wording it in a way to avoid giving him information, she wanted to speak to her father before it burned through the family like wildfire. "I see, so it's about a love interest. I'll not keep you waiting then, the sooner you talk to your dad the sooner I get to tell the others." He gave her a playful wink and wave before he turned to leave, letting the young woman resume her way to the throne room. She knocked gently at the door after greeting the guards, waiting for her uncle's permission before she entered. "I hope you aren't busy Uncle; I have something Important I need to talk to you about." The sweet little nymph practically skipped towards her uncle's throne, moving to sit in one of the small thrones beside him. "Never too busy for you darling, what it is you need?" The older male gave her a smile as he turned to face her, Poseidon had many children and her being one of the youngest she only really got to spend so much time with he father. Hades would often watch her for her father as her mom was often "busy" whatever that was supposed to mean. Hades had a few of his own and his favorites to raise were his daughters, so he had instantly melted over his niece when she came to be in his care. He'd spoil her if he felt she was being treated fairly, even spoke to his younger brother when one of the male's mistresses would step out of line in regard to the little one. Needless to say, little was more important than his niece. "You see, I have been talking to and spending time with a god and his wives from another pantheon. But he wishes to talk to dad and get his permission to date me to avoid stepping on his toes, so I need to set up something for them to talk. But I don't know how to bring it up to dad especially since I don't know how he feels about the god in question." She blushed deeply; she knew her uncle could probably guess who it was based on how important it was to her. Afterall, she had the same crush since she was a preteen, none other than the god of destruction himself Shiva. She had met him a few times growing up from accompanying her dad and uncles and even cousins to certain events and meetings, she had never spoke to him though and simply fangirled and flustered herself from a distance.

It wasn't until she was officially old enough to drink that she had actually met Shiva's 3 wives, it was at her birthday celebration that she had truly got to socialize with many of the other gods. Zues had thrown a big party, inviting a large number of gods and goddesses from across the pantheon. Dionysus had even showed up to serve as a bartender, making for plenty of variety. Kali had approached first to wish her a happy birthday, giving her a necklace from the 4 of them. It was made by some dwarvish artisans with a bunch of gemstones handpicked by the group, figuring if she was important enough for Zeus to throw such a party then she was worthy of a thoughtful gift. "I see, so Shiva has finally noticed you?~ Congrats sweetheart." He chuckled and gave her a head pat; he knew she'd probably tell him all about how this all came to be later. "Well, your father and him have never really spoke much as far as I remember, so if he dislikes Shiva, he has never made it known. I don't think you'll need to take any special precautions, just approach him when he isn't busy and let him know that Shiva would like to meet with him to discuss courting you. My brother isn't the type to freak out, and everyone knows how far Shiva would go for the people he cares about so he has no reason to believe Shiva would do you wrong." He could see her relax some, despite how calm he was her father was still quite intense at times and most daughters would be apprehensive to approach their fathers about a man wanting to date them. So, her anxiety was very real and understand able, but Hades knew well everything would work out. "Would you like me to accompany you and wait outside the door just in case?" The older male chuckled as he pinched her cheek, knowing she'd most likely deny him but still wanting to offer. "No that's fine, I think you're right and I'm just overthinking it." She nods her head and moves to stand, stretching some as she took a deep breath. "Now to go home and get things settled, Hermes wants details and if it takes more than a day or two, he'll be teasing me about being a scaredy cat for the next millennia." She pouted as her uncle laughed, nodding his head. "Alright darling, be safe on your way back. I'd hate to think of what the god of destruction or my brother would do if something happened to you on your way back." His comment made the girl giggle as she bid him goodbye, practically jogging out of the room to go and see her father.

"Hello father, is now a good time?" She walked over to his side, standing patiently as he flipped through his book. "I suppose it isn't a bad time, has something happened?" He tilted his head slightly to look at her, he saw his children as his equals as far as their existence went and so he had no problem looking at them. Something that used to piss off Adamas, as the other male hated how Posidon doted on his kids in a way most other gods would never understand and the fact his neices and nephews received more respect from the male than he did enraged him. "Nothing bad, I promise. It's just… There is a god who would like to speak with you about courting me." Now that had the blonde closing his book and setting it aside, he took the relationships of his children seriously and he'd never sell them off to just anyone. "Oh? The older blonde sat quiet a moment; he didn't have any particular qualms with Shiva. The male could be somewhat loud, but he was also strong in his own right and only a foolish god would be unaware of Shiva's devotion to the things and people he cares about. As an idol with a lot of accolades for both group and solo works, he’s definitely someone who outside of work greatly appreciates a sense of normalcy. Being an INFP, this also heavily implies that he’s more likely to be a homebody, and that he’s someone prone to sticking to what he knows and rarely tries anything new. Being with someone who feels like they’re immediately part of his average at-home lifestyle, yet still keeps him on his toes, is definitely someone that he’d like to have in his life.

I'm so interested in the relationship between Jared and Sebastian. Growing up as friends, despite how different they are. Then Jared feels betrayed when Sebastian leaves for uni and grows to resent him. So when he returns, Jared starts terrorising him, including showing up at his place of work, but is very careful to never do anything in front of witnesses. And Sebastian is still weirdly fond of Jared, despite things like getting hit over the back of the head with books.

Fun fact! On my very first listen this was my biggest scare of the series to date. Don't get me wrong, the recording from Lost Johns' Cave was creepy, but the sudden sound of the door opening ripped me out of the statement, and at this point I hadn't really been paying attention to the meta narrative so it was completely unexpected that anyone would interrupt Jon. Seems silly in hindsight, but it's very ironic that the first thing in the show to actually get my heart pounding with genuine fear was the arrival of Elias.

As I said during Naomi's statement, this listen through has made realise that Elias is just using her compliant as an excuse to make Jon back off from annoying the Lukas family. I mean, I knew he didn't give a shit about Naomi, but I figured he was just doing this to be a dick and make Jon feel like he's being watched.

I still think he's doing both of those things, but the primary motivation is the fact that he got an annoyed phonecall from Peter and he's trying to hold off their next divorce another couple of weeks.

I'm confused by the line 'if Rose kept her equipment in better condition'. Obviously it's a reference to the fact that he's frustrated by needing to use the tape recorder, by why is that Rosie's fault? Wouldn't it be the recording software on the laptops in the Research and Archives departments that isn't working? What does Rosie have to do with that? Is she personally responsible for all the equipment in the Institute? I thought she was Elias's P.A.?

No idea what Jon means by that. But at least he's going to be more lovely! That should be good to see. XD

Another reason why Elias felt the need to come down here in person, because Jon hasn't flagged anything unusual about Martin being gone and maybe he was hoping that if he pointed Jon in the right direction it might lead to a Corruption mark. Love that it's so completely out of character for Jared to read a book that Sebastian flags the entire interaction as weird.

Also a great detail that Jared was afriad even as he was captivated by the book. I will never get over the fact that an essential component of being an avatar is fearing your patron. It's so great that serving them grants power but not relief, not escape.

Poor Mrs Hopworth. She's really going through it. But this whole interaction makes me read her as the mother who disapproves of her son's boyfriend. The shifting of blame from Jared to the book to the man who 'gave him' the book, the way she silently throws the book to the ground and only interacts with Sebastian after he mentions Jared by name, her fury and disgust (she actually spits at him). To me it all reads as classic homophobic 'you've perverted my innocent son with your evil queerness' nonsense.

This might be a tenuous connection, but I've actually read Misery since the last time I listened to this episode, and I wonder if the reason it's included here is because all the fucked up stuff that happens to the protagonist's leg in that book is extremely evocative of boneturning.
