i texted my older brother and asked him if he could take me to nicks, which i didn't want to because he was at work and i didnt wanna wait but, oh well. he said he'd take me and so about an hour later he came home and told me he was waiting outside.

You had just gotten into a short coma, no one knew when you would wake up, hell- no one even knew if you would live.. but two soldiers waited patiently. Giving you gifts daily, visiting you daily and even sleeping in your hospital room, ghost and könig had made a truce and decided to pay off your hospital bills together.

Ghost was your childhood friend, someone you could trust, someone who cares for you, who would do ANYTHING for you. König is your ex boyfriend, you chose him because you really liked his accent, his cute homemade gifts for you, everything he did, he did for you, for your wellbeing, for your good. But he messed up, he messed up bad when you caught him cheating, sure it might have only been a one time thing but it still hurt didn't it? And the fact he was sober too.. all while you were pregnant. But now thats not a worry..

A year had passed by, the doctors had to take away your now dead baby from your stomach, she didn't survive the crash. König felt guilty, he thought it was his fault. But it is his fault.. if only he hadn't been cheating-- your thoughts pause, you felt your body getting warmer, you finally regained consciousness again.

You wake up, fluttering your heavy eyelids open to see simon on the couch beside you, he looked peaceful. You couldn't help but smile.

"si..?"

You mumble, your mouth was dry and your voice was barely comprehensable but he heard and immediately got up.

"Love?"

His eyes widen at the sight of you smiling, his heart feeling warmth after so long. He rushed over and pulled you in for a hug, tears in his eyes threatening to fall.

"You're awake! Oh my god.. i missed you so much"

You chuckle, hugging him back, ignoring the pain everywhere in your body. You smile at him, pulling away from said hug.

"where's.. where's könig?"

You ask, hope in your voice vanishing when ghost opened his mouth. He felt his heart clench, his tears falling down. Even after all of that.. you're still looking for him..?

"he's busy, but i'm here.. please! I can treat you better"

You cant help but chuckle at him awkwardly, tilting your head in confusion.

"You like me? I thought you only ever saw me as a friend"

His heart throbbed at those words. 'Friend' friend?! Would a friend wait for years just to be with you?

He hugged you again, tears falling. You hug him back, knowing it's not often he'd be willing to hug someone.

"Please.. give me a chance love, i can treat you better! You deserve better"

Ghost begs, pulling away from the hug and kneeling down, looking up wt you with pleading eyes, this gets you off guard and you look dumbfounded at the sight. The door opens to reveal a chuckling könig at the other side.

"Ghost? I thought you were better than that"

He chuckled, ghost getting up and rolling his eyes, standing in front of your bed in a defensive stance, clearly irritated.

"Look who's talking."

He barked, könig getting hurt but doesnt show ot, he walks over to you and places his hand on your cheek, caressing your face gently, he smiled at you so lovingly before placing a kiss on your forehead, the feeling of his masked lips giving you butterflies.

"König.. i told you we were over didnt i?"

You hiss, pushing him away. Ghost smirks, finding the whole situation amusing. König lets go of you, sitting down and sighing, trying to keep his emotions in check as to not cry.

"You heard what the lady said"

"Shatz, please.. i'll do better this ti-"

"Shut up. You cheated on me."

"4 years of dating and you still cheated? Shame on you könig"

König scoffs, turning to ghost and glaring at him angrily.

"I, however, could treat her better."

He whispers, playing with your hair gently, his gloved hands feeling soft and comforting, you felt butterflies and you blush.

"As if. You don't deserve her."

Konig says in a rude tone, holding your hand lovingly. The two men making you a blushing mess and you're screaming in your head.

"guys please- i'm tire-"

"Do you want a snack?"

"I can order you McDonald's if you want"

"I'll buy you anything you want, sweetheart"

"I can go get some water for you"

They cut eachother off, competing for your love. You cant help but blush, turning away and regaining your cool before responding.

"Water and food sounds great"

They give you a smile, both of them walking away to get what you need.

The moment they got outside of the room, könig turns to ghost.

"I think she still likes me"

"She blushed at me earlier"

Simon turns to könig with an irritated expression, crossing his arms.

you wait by the door of ur brother, sungchan’s, apartment and hear the door bell ring. when you open the door you expect to see momo. instead your met with wonbin and anton.

before you can say hello, momo rushes right pass wonbin and anton and drags you to your room.

when you reach your room, momo turns to you and asks you a question about sungchan.

“do you thing sungchan will like my gift?”

momo then pulls out a small keychain with a cat attached to it.

you question why momo would care what sungchan thought but ur thoughts were cut off by a knock on the door.

“hey y/n come and meet my frien- oh hey momo”

momo then stuffs the cute keychain in her pouch and greets sungchan by wishing him a happy birthday.

you and momo walk down the hall with sungchan. once you reach the end of the hall way, you see all 6 of his friends. you get nervous as they are all staring at you so you try speed walk to the kitchen with momo, but are cut off by two extroverts.

“hey y/n! when did you get so tall??” seunghan asks while waving his hand above your head. you get embarrassed and immediately respond to his rude comment.

“you just got taller! its not my fault you grow so much” seunghan laughs and shotaro shortens his laughter by stepping on his foot. seunghan squeals.

all the guys introduce themselves except, anton and wonbin. you felt flustered because you felt that every-time you looked their way they would make a weird jester or turn around at the sight of you.

later on everyone sings happy birthday to sungchan and cut the cake. everyone starts drinking and laughing at seunghan and sohee’s karaoke session. momo talks to sungchan about dancing together one day. you sit right next to wonbin and anton. anton nudges at wonbin.

“hey.”

you turn around to face wonbin and answer with a bright smile

“hi wonbin”

wonbin immediately gets flustered but tries to hide it by continuing the conversation.

“so how long have you known momo?” wonbin questions

“me and momo have been friends since we were kids. shes one of my best friends. what about you and anton?” you reply.

“me and anton have known each other since middle school but i feel like i’ve known him forever. he’s my closest friend.”

you guys sit in comfortable silence for a while.

until he brings up the first day of school..

“hey im sorry for almost falling in you on friday” he scratches his neck awkwardly waiting for your response

you look at him confused and he gets nervous because of your the immediate change in your facial expressions. it takes you a couple seconds to realize what he was talking about, but while you were staring at him he gets up out of embarrassment and spills his drink all over your lap.

you get startled by the sudden coldness on your lap and stand up to at least let some of it drip down. everyone stares at you guys as wonbin runs to go get paper towels.

“im super sorry y/n i didnt mean to drop the drink on you and im sorry for ruining ur dre-“

“its okay wonbin!” you say and laugh due to the awkward moment. you walk to the guest room that you will be staying at tonight and change out of your wet clothes.

momo burts into your room and immediately asks what just happened. you explain to her what happened and she laughs.

“why would he do that? thats so embarrassing”

you were also confused why he suddenly got up. your conclusion was that he was embarrassed so you didnt really think much about it.

you and momo go back to the living room and you sat where you previously were.

“im so sorry again for dropping my drink on you” he says while looking down.

“it’s genuinely okay wonbin. just know you owe me something” you joke.

“i can give you my number so i could make it up to you.” he exclaims

you immediately agree and let him type his number into your phone.

momo tells you that she needs to go home but you realize that she doesn’t have a ride home. sungchan offers to take her home so everyone took that as a sign to go home.

when everyone is leaving, momo teases you about the whole wonbin situation and you tease her about having to get dropped off by your brother. as wonbin was walking out with anton he stops and gives you something. you were gonna ask what it was but he had already walked out of the small apartment.

it was a box and inside was a jellycat plushie and a note that said sorry. you smiled and walked to your room.

After another long ass day filled with nothing but training Neteyam was exhausted. In fact, exhausted was an understatement.

The only thing he wanted to do was to snuggle up and go to sleep. What he really wanted was to snuggle up with you.

His best friend was the only person who could immediately put him at ease. Nothing could top the tranquil feeling of holding you in his arms.

Neteyam trudged through home tree, his mind on autopilot. He was so groggy and exhausted he didn’t even know where he was going.

Your hands carefully worked at the bracelet you were holding. Gently weaving the material so as not to damage it. Stopping midway through you noticed that the beads you were using were very similar to the beads Neteyam was found of.

A blush creeped onto your cheeks as you thought of him. You'd be lying if you said you didn't have feelings for him. But he was your best friend and nothing more.

"Why is your face like that?" Kiri asked unamused.

Eyes widening at being caught you tried to brush her off. "Like what?"

"Just admit that you were day dreaming about my brother so we can get back to our jewelry." She rolled her eyes.

You started to panic as you felt your entire face heat up. It wasn't that obvious, was it?

"I don't know what you're talking about." You nervously chuckled.

"Oh please," Kiri huffed. "The two of you have been pining after each other for years."

Neteyam plopped down next to you nuzzling his face into your neck. Inhaling your sweet scent immediately relaxed his tense body.

"What's wrong 'Teyam?" You softly asked while reaching your hand up to caresses his head.

"Tired." He mumbled against your skin. "Needed my comfort person."

Snuggling more into you his head found it's way onto your lap. He was hugging your arm to his chest.

You melted at the sight of him. He looked like a big comfy toddler. Seeing him like this wasn’t unusual. Despite the mighty warrior mask he wore, Neteyam loved physical touch. Whenever the two of you were alone he practically demanded that you cuddled.

But that was always when you were alone. He had never acted this way around anyone else. You were shocked that he was so relaxed with Kiri sitting right there. Usually you were the only one to see this side of him.

“Told you.” Kiri whispered.

Shushing her you waved her out. Neteyam had fallen asleep and the last thing you wanted was to wake him up.

Lovingly you admired his relaxed face as he slept. Gently you brushed his hair out of his face. A soft smile graced his lips as he begun to purr.

"you little shit, will now,gently.." you say putting at her throat a sharp knife

"...create a portal for us" you continued, she laughed at you on her knees, even if she was able to regenerate, she was heavily injuried, as with time this ability can slow dowm

"or?" she chukled, for the time she said that, Logan putted three claws in display for her to know how bad he would hurt her if he only could "this in you sweet ribcage..." the man matched your energy and tone, and you gave him a a satisfied look,then Wade spoke

"Logan is right, now now, be a good psycho bitch, like you are, and open a fucking portal..." surprised, she opened one and remained there with no one at her side, the next thing you know is that you were teleported back in the same place that the guards attacked you, so in Wade appertment, you stood up from the cold floor, scratching your head, next thing you see it's Wade whining on the table and logan that from the fall bumped one of the chairs, you just laughed

you three just took some time to rest before finishing the mission, you closed in the bathroom, were patching yourself up after the long battle, you took off your broken suit and putted something more comfortable, as you exited the room, you could not put you left leg to use, causing you to curse as you walked

"fuck...ouch! " you yelled, your hands on the white patch on the side of your left thigh, Wade was sleeping on the couch totally tired, Logan as his usual was sipping some whiskey, the smell of the alcohol was sharp,but he could somehow not get drunk, how?

then he turned as he heard you cuss

"thats a nice bloody injury that you got there, yeah?" he smirked looking uo at you,then e left his whisky on the counter,walking towards you, you stopped him

"dont worry Lo, i don't need help, I can do it" you rassured him, vene if it was not true, he chukled seeing you struggling, so all of a sudden e took your arm, putting it behind his neck to help yourself steady

"here,at leats let me help, you know that we will need those leg to destroy the shitty guards?"he said in sarcasm, you chukled at his fun commenti as you two walked in your bedroom,he helped you to sit on the bed then he asked

"may I take a look? maybe i can help to erase the pain" you nodded, as the patch was removed this large scar was revealed

"does blood not frighten you?" you mumble, looking how much blood was leaked from it

"mh, you se from a man who lived nearly, 200 years, ive seen worse" he looked at you but his gaze shifter back on the scar,then he helped you to clean up your wound...

as he finished he sat on the bed next to you, even he was tired from the battle

"thank you for helping me,youre kind after all..." you chukle, he did that too, he took his head in his hands as he sighed

"not everyone tell me that you know?..." he spoke in a lower tone,clearly tired, you were confused

"and why is that? for the things I saw, you helped me, that makes you kind, let's say a good man.." you spoke, he straighted his back,as he was still sitting next to you

"I did things that I regret, changing now means nothing..." he scoffed and he stod up ready to leave the room "...you can't change the past."

"...but you can decide the future." you added as your eyes his board figure walking near the door as he opened it, he stopped when hearing your comment, he turned around, right hand still on the handle of the door, he gave you a little chukle, this time more genuine

"its late.." he changed the subject all of a sudden ".. and you should be tired, your wound need to heal mh? so...goodnight y/n" he said not looking at you, in his tone you could hear that he was even surprised from the thing you just said

"yeah.." you nodded looking away "...goodnight to you too, Logan.." he nodded and left the room closing the cracky door behind him, leaving you alone in your thoughts...

Lets Talk: Tyler Hernandez

a.k.a. sai explains sbg cs fuck fanon

When I think of mischaracterized sbg characters I almost immediately go to Tyler Hernandez. Why? because he's so mischaracterized due to people focusing on ships too much.

This isnt a post for me to say "fuck you ik these characters better and im right" since people to perceive things differently this is just more me sharing my full Tyler analysis which I find most people (ive talked to) agree with me.

This is gonna be separated into four categories: personality, full death analysis, relationships, my opinion on fanon tyler takes.

I didnt realize how long this is gonna be until I actually started typing it so warning it's a long one :)

Personality

Were going to go from start to current on this.

Not much is known about how Tyler acted before his father's passing, other than he used to be your average loving kid. He enjoyed playing baseball with his father and his dad taught him and Taylor a few songs on the guitar one of them being Happy Birthday (which he later taught ben). Once his dad died his entire life practically got uprooted.

I find it odd that theres a chapter explaining his development and character yet he's still so mischaracterized. He slowly lost interest in everything, never doing anything fun. Instead focusing on taking care of his family like he watched his father do.

Despite how some portray it, Tyler doesn't find joy in playing baseball anymore. It became just a way to get into college. He doesn't see the point in indulging in things that he deems distractions or stupid. For example at the Sorrel Weed House he (rightfully so) found the phantom "prank" stupid, dragging Taylor out of the building. Like Ashlyn he too saw no point in friends. He didn't have time for 'such distractions'.

He's not one for sugar coating or beating around the bush, he'll be blunt. Such as him telling Logan he's pathetic for being scared of Barron while they deal with phantoms every night. While even Ashlyn acknowledges he was harsh she stated he did have a point, that Logan needed to learn how to defend himself.

Despite being easily annoyed and irritated at the beginning he cared for them in some form early on. Like when Logan got hurt in the bus he went to check on him, or when he heard Aiden yell Ashlyn's name when she got taken onto the roof Tyler almost immediately went to go check what happened.

Whether he realized it or not the others were beginning to be of concern to him. He slowly began warming up to them. This is first majorly seen after they get the jeep from Ashlyn's house. This being the first time we properly see him smile. He also shut Logan down when he tried to dodge Aiden's compliment. Telling Logan he should be proud of himself.

Tyler also is relatively observant, noticing and acknowledging the fact that Logan wants to do something to help Barron's new victim (Noah). He assures Logan that they'll all be there if he needs help. Not only showing how he's grown to care for them but that he'll help them when needed.

At Lily's birthday Ashlyn acknowledges that Tyler's become less of a jerk, quite literally stating in the comic that he's grown and become more comfortable around them. Allowing himself to make friends despite growing up thinking it was a waste of time.

I would talk about his death itself but the section below is gonna go into depth about it.

He has no will to keep himself guarded in front of them. His only concern being getting to Taylor. That's a pattern with how he operates. He WILL put those he holds closest above himself. He quite literally was about to die but the only thing on his mind was the fact that he'd be leaving them alone. That something might've happened to Taylor. That he needed to get to them.

Taylor states in the season two premiere that he began having fun with them, possibly beginning to see the group as his family. (Theyre family its canon shush). When Ashlyn goes to apologize to him he appears shocked but he doesnt accept her apology. Why? because he doesn't blame her, he knows it wasn't her fault. He cares for her, we can see how much he has grown. He even gave her a nickname that wasn't a form of insult. By which I mean he calls Aiden idiot and other things but not a genuine nickname.

After finding out that Aiden also died but woke up before him Tyler went to text Aiden. Whether that was to check on him or just to have someone to talk to who knows.

He's let down his walls for the group significantly, like when Logan, Ashlyn, and Ben found him in the facility. He in his own way asked for comfort, thanking Ben when he comforted him.

Overall Tyler's grown to care for all of them, seeing them as family. He's allowed himself to be open and vulnerable. Relying on the others at times (throughout his injury) as well as letting them rely on him (like when telling Logan the group will be there when he talks to Barron)

Death & Aftermath

His death was a pivotal point which is why I made a whole section dedicated to it. Not only is it a turning point for Tyler but for the story and everyone else.

NOTE: so I was going to do a full analysis here on this HOWEVER i'm just going to make it a separate post since this is long enough as it is and I want to keep this focused on Tyler whereas his death and aftermath discussion will be about everyone.

Relationships

Ethan Hernandez

Not much is known about his dad other than the fact he played a huge role in Tyler's life. He taught the twins a few songs on guitar, Happy birthday being one of them. This allowing Tyler to teach Ben for Lily's birthday.

Mariana Hernandez

After losing his dad, Mariana essentially wasn't mentally there. She's still dealing with her grief causing her to at times be unable to remember her husband isn't alive. This was shown when she wondered why her husband wasn't off work for Lily's party.

Tyler had to take care of both her and Taylor. When she came back to reality after Tyler died she stepped up to take care of him and be there for her children. He cares for him mom a lot.

Taylor Hernandez

Most of this goes without saying, hes protective of his sister, after all he needs to be. I assume this comes from the fact the twins canonically have separation anxiety (stated by Red on insta). This likely stems from losing their dad at an early age.

His sister is always his priority, when he woke up his first instinct when he heard a scream was to get to Taylor.

Ashlyn Banner

They don't hate each other despite what some fans believe. They actually never hated each other.

At the beginning they had conflicting ideals, Ashlyn thinking it'd be smarter to wait while Tyler wanted to go back to the Sorrel Weed House. This caused them to bump heads at times.

During the first night when Tyler cause Ashlyn to snap at him telling him to "be useful" he, despite being irritated prior to this, did make himself useful by helping with the chair legs. Ashlyn noticing his silence and wondering if she was too harsh. Showing that even then she had nothing against Tyler.

Tyler grew to care for others this includes Ashlyn when he hears Aiden yell her name, he also ended up carrying her to the car when she got concussed. The feeling of care is mutual first shown when the fight at the arcade happened. When background guy punched Tyler, Ashlyn immediately kicked the guy square in the head.

Ashlyn commented on how he was less of a jerk and how it was nice of him to teach Ben Happy Birthday for Lily's birthday since he can no longer sing it.

When Tyler died Ashlyn felt guilty, blaming herself for the incident. She was so upset that she couldn't protect him and the others. Tyler on the other hand didn't blame her at all. Brushing her apology off as if it was nothing. Because it WAS nothing, from his perspective she had no reason to apologize.

She was the first to find him in the phantom dimension. She was the one to administer the sedatives. Telling him "we're going to get you down... okay?" to which he responded with "okay..". She waited until he was sedated and she was off the ladder to fully react. Putting himself and his wellbeing first. She checked on him when they parked the car in the school that night.

When looking for the others in the facility she made note that she was worried for him (and aiden), remembering the way she last saw them both. Once finding Tyler and his bloody room she was shocked and concerned. Unable to react at the sight.

When Ashlyn revealed that she was the one to bring their parents into the phantom dimension Tyler shut her down real quick. Saying she was being melodramatic and that she would be the one who could get them out. Adding the "and anyone else who you decide to drag in" to which she replied saying she didn't decide to bring anyone in. With him ending the discussion with "then stop acting like it".

"they hate each other" they never have

Aiden Clark

Aiden and Tyler mutually made digs at each other. Aiden getting on Tyler's nerves easily. Overtime their arguing turned into playful banter. They grew to care for the other.

Aiden was worried when Tyler had died, while still managing to partially keep up his facade it is easy to tell he was worried for his friend.

Aiden not typically dropping his smile except in moments where someone he cares for is harmed. Tyler's no exception to this, as when he sees Tyler on the Tree he is visibly scared and in shock. Literally shaking from the sight.

Over the course of the comic Tyler grows accustomed to Aiden being around. His jokes and just presence. Eventually allowing Aiden to rest against him while they shared a wheelchair.

Ben Clark

Tyler offered to teach Ben guitar for Lily's birthday. The two have grown close. When Tyler died and woke up at the hospital Ben was seen with a "r u ok?" message on his phone. Tyler trusts Ben. We can see this when after they get Tyler off the tree Ben carrys him on his back. In the back of the car Ben keeps his eyes on Tyler.

Ben goes back to carrying him while they walk through the school. Once they get to the room he sets Tyler down and begins to re-bandage him due to Tyler bleeding through the bandages. When the roof begins to collapse Ben can be seen protecting Tyler's head and body under the desk.

When they find Tyler's room in the facility Ben too is shocked. Once Tyler says "...you know it doesn't really... make me feel... any better if you... react like that..." Ben immediately kneels next to him, ruffling his hand and giving him a smal thumbs up. As his way of trying to be there for him. This getting a small thanks from Tyler. Ben then sends Logan and Ashlyn to find the others and get a wheelchair while he stays with Tyler.

Ben can be seen redoing Tyler's bandages multiple times. He also was the one to push Tyler's wheelchair while they were walking around the facility.

Logan Fields

At the start Tyler thought Logan was pathetic for beinf scared of Barron. Eventually, like the others, he grew to care for Logan. When Logan got hurt he went to check on him.

At the arcade he noticed Logan wanting to do something about Barron so he encouraged it, telling Logan that him and the others will be there just incase.

When Tyler reunited with everyone in the hospital Logan can be seen crying, relieved his friend was okay. Like Ben and Ashlyn, Logan was shocked at Tyler's state in the facility.

During the walk through the facility Tyler mentions that "we should probably be a bit faster" where we got logans iconic "youre the one in a wheelchair" retort (love him).

My Takes

These are just my own personal opinions.

"Ashlyn and Tyler hate each other" you dont need to like the ship but to blatantly ignore their development is crazy. I wouldn't even put it up to development since they never hated each other. Theyre both just the type to believe and stick with their opinion and positions. They had conflicting ideas which lead them to debating but to say they hate each other couldn't be farther from the truth.

I honestly can't stand the way SOME fans make it seem like tyler hates everyone except Logan for some reason. He wouldn't be close to anyone except the GROUP. Why? because like ashlyn he didnt see the point in friends, not cause they hated everyone but because it was a waste of time in their minds.

Also he wouldn't use cringy ass nicknames or petnames, the only real nickname hes given is "carrot top" which yeah is funny but it's not like babyish does that make sense? Other than that the only thing person he really calls names is Aiden who he uses like insults PLAYFULLY. Again he doesn't hate any of them.

I don't understand how people can manage to mischaracterize him so bad when there's an entire chapter that explains about half of his character. Quick focusing on just early S1 sbg cause he had plenty of development in the first season alone.

If you've actually read this im fucking shocked, this shit took me like two hours to write omg.

Small Tang Ramble

Right now, I have started rewatching the entire Lego Monkie Kid series from the start while I wait to see the recent season 5 episodes (that I was suckerpunched with when scrolling through Tumblr and having some stuff spoiled whene I didnt even think a new season would come for at least a few more months).

Then, when I finally got to season 4, I noticed something interesting with how they handle Tang's powers.

At the start of the season, it's revealed that Tang's cheat sheet, given to him by Azure Lion, was something that supposedly should've been helpful to someone "mysticly powerful, comparable to the Great Monk, Tang Sanzang", then the sheet should be a piece of cake so to speak.

Then we see how Tang struggles and has a hard time finding where his friends are located, but then a Golden Cicada helps him to find Pigsy, which was the same one that flew around the Samadhi Fire ritual site when Mei had it reunited within her.

That's not my topic right now, though, so I'll just skip the "random destiny bugs" (name given to me by a friend), and keep going towards my main point.

Anyways, skipping a few episode to when the meet the Great Master (I forgot the guys name), we see how Tang got berated for his lack of courage and work ethic. Then Tang and the rest of the gang are put to train, and I'm not exactly sure on how long they were in training for, but I'm going to assume a few hours at the sky visibly got darker near the end of the montage.

(I'm pretty sure that something akin to a stop in time for them to train would have been stated in the show itself if that was an explanation for how long they have been training for, so I'm gonna rule out any sort of "checkpoint" or "rest stop" rules here, like when you can stay in a safe space for whatever amount of time and come out with little time passed afterwards.)

The reason why I'm talking about how long they've trained for, is because after (what I assume) is a few hours, Tang is able to teleport a WHOLE AIR BALLOON, RIGHT ON TOP OF WHERE THEY NEEDED TO BE, WITHOUT HIS STAFF NO LESS.

*ahem* We know Tang had struggled with the teleportation magic from the beginning, even with his staff along with only transporting 3 people, and the magic level required to do so is comparable to the Monk, who is very powerful considering what we've seen in how his training was revered by the great master for being extensive plus how the Monk focussed only on his studies, and in-show examples. (Ex. Releasing the heavenly seal put on monkey king singehandedly, sealing the Samadhi Fire along with three others, then also Sealing the Lady Bone Demon to where she can only escape through her self reflecting or a rare, mystical key, etc)

I'm just saying how it's very impressive how Tang could go from barely being able to teleport accurately with 3 people, the staff in hand, to figuring out how to teleport accurately, how to teleport something as big as an airship, and then gaining enough focus/mystic power to do the teleport without his staff for this first time shown in the show. And remember this: all of this growth was in, at most, half a day.

And we know how long the Great Monk had to study to get to where he was, "learning everything there was to learn" with him blocking out anything else to focus purely on his studies to get where he was, and yes, he probably studied more than just the teleportation magic in his time, but Azure said it himself, that someone "mysticly powerful, comparable to the Great Monk, Tang Sanzang" should be able to figure out the cheet sheet, or at least versed in the mystical topic.

I already showcased how much work is really needed through that comment, but then Azure showed it again in his comment of "if hes learned it in the mystical arts.." describing how this would have needed to be taught like how they gang were forced to with the Great Master. We already know how hard the training from the Great Master was to get even a fraction of Mk's power, and considering how heavily it's put on how the Monk only studied and studied when it was talked about, with the students in the flashback looking like the ones under the Great Master, I would assume learning the mystic arts takes a similar amount of time and effort.

And now that my points have been laid out, you guys get it when I was gobsmacked at how quickly Tang grew in the time with the Great Master, reiterating my point of how Tang was able to figure out HOW TO DO TELEPORT AND AIRSHIP WITHOUT THE CHEAT SHEET, WITH HIS BARE HANDS, IN A MATTER OF HOURS when it was heavily implied (from what interpreted) that doing something like this would take a considerable amount of time and training, even for the Monk as he was said to only focus on his studies to optimize his mystic abilities and to block any distractions.

And then to add to this, it was only ever shown in the show that Tang only read throughout the entire training session. Whenever we see him in the montage, it's him reading scrolls no matter what. We never see him practice, or even mimic any of the moves or exercise that I would assume would be on those scrolls for him to learn. Then, the first time he ever put those ideas he read about into practice after using the staff the entire time before and messing it up, he was able to make the transportation of the airship fast, accurate, and without the help of the staff entirely.

TLDR: Tang is either so good at cramming that he was able to shorten a good year of learning into a couple hours, or he's severely gifted in the mystic arts with the right training or examples. Either way, if you gave this man a week in the scroll library with some noodles and motivation from the Great Master, then I would assume he might actually become one of the most powerful characters LMK, given the time to do so. Aita for lieing about my country of origin?

This is kinda stupid but a friend said it will start a bad habit of lieing, I'm taking advantage of the fact that because I'm white passing I don't get offensive immigrant questions and I just shouldn't have so let's see.

About a year ago I (24nb metis aka white and first nations canadian. Also native American but it's blurry. Its important later.) and my partner (24f white) went to walmart for groceries. I love the cold, have been raised in the cold temps of the Midwest my whole life and I have a autoimmune disorder which makes me much warmer than everyone else so despite it being 32° outside, I was in shorts and a t-shirt. My partner thinks I'm crazy and I have a bad habit of freezing her out but we compromise.

Obviously wearing a T-shirt and shorts when it's snowing outside gets some attention and this elderly white couple playfully asked how I wasn't frozen solid as some sweet small talk but I'm socially anxious and just blurted out that I was from Canada and this was nothing. They just laughed in surprise and nodded and went on. That was a lie and my partner playfully chided me for it. No, I'm not a Canadian immigrant and I was born in America but as you can see, my family has deep ties to Canada and my grandmother is a Canadian immigrant. Should I of lied? No but it was harmless, I panicked and I didnt want to explain a disorder or get too deep into conversation with strangers so I just said it and moved on. No harm done.

Flash forward to today where I, my partner and a mutual friend (23 ftm, white but reconnecting to his distant Cuban and carribean heritage. He identifies as "spicy white".) were talking in a group call about our families histories. One side of my friends family immigrated to America about 4+5 generations back from Cuba with the other from Scotland and Ireland and my partners family history is blurry but she knows they came from Scotland and Germany. My partner playfully brought up my lie from a year ago and the whole tone shifted. My friend got mad at me and brought up how his great great grandmother struggled in America because she wasn't white passing, she immigrated from a non-white country and people treated her horribly. I tried to bring up that both my grandmothers were natives and my immigrant grandmother also struggled with racism due to being first nations but he kept interrupting me saying that because I'm white passing and I picked Canada as a place I fake-immigrated from, I'm taking advantage of the fact that white old couple would treat me better than Mexican immigrants or middle Eastern immigrants.

Eventually the call ended and we side stepped the topic but tension is still present and I don't know how to feel now. Obviously I respect immigrants and i have a high amount of immigrant people in my family, not just Canadian/first nations but married in from Poland and Mexico. I know I shouldn't of lied but I feel like my friend is just being a bit chronically online right now and acting like I don't respect any immigrants. Ever since he started reconnecting, he's gotten more and more trigger happy with racist jokes, calling people racist for no reason and just all around... off. I totally get generational trauma and the pain of discovering your history around colonization and genocide but its getting weird. My partner says she didn't see the harm in my little, no pun intended, white lie but doesn't wanna be involved because she's white and this issue has some racist undertones. I don't know if this is just a symptom of his discovery surrounding himself and being in some very overly sensitive groups or I was truely being insensitive to even being passively racist towards other POC.

So, was I the asshole for lieing to some strangers that I'm from Canada just to not have to get too deep into why I wanna wear shorts in the snow like a weirdo?

okay i know we are all excited about the actual short that just came out but let me ramble a bit about Red cause im getting emotional about this stick ... ( before my motivation to type all of this ends and i dont feel emotional anymore lol )

Red in season 3 went through so much istg ;; not only did he and Sec went through a very tense (and needed) fight which almost caused the end of their friendship (+ Sec was clearly in the winning side here, or Red was just really terrified of her at that moment given to how he tried to run away from her - of which i will probably talk about it in a later post maybe), but he was also really fucking tormented in monster school (i felt so bad for him in this episode i legit wanted to cry)

+ after all of this fiasco he really went ahead and carried this thing (of which, given to how he hit it on the ground and it made a soft thump, it must have been heavy asf) all the way to the other side and??? fucking smashed King's chin which made him fly to so fucking far ;; which means he literally used all of his strenght to carry this staff, and dropkick King with it, even if it was so hard he almost even dropped it at first

AND THEN HE JUST. PROCEEDS TO PASS OUT ON THE FLOOR CAUSE HES SO FRICKING TIRED AND EXHAUSTED AAWRGHWS

there are also other moments where i think he really deserves a break tbh ;;

he lost a pet. i have a pet myself and just the thought of ever losing him hurts so fucking much to the point i can feel my oof'ing urges coming back.

;; granted; it was a minecraft pig and it was high with all the potions, and also tried to kill all of them, but he clearly atleast had some care for that pig ... (the fact that he immediately stood up and spawned another animal makes me think about that one post/tiktok (i dont remember the user) i've seen ; which talked about Red possibly hiding/bottling up his sadness from others , in order to stay happy and positive or because he doesn't think his struggles are important enough compared to the others' - which i think it make alot of sense since you rarely see him cry or something, just going numb and/or looking down in despair - the only ever time we ever saw him cry was when Green supposedly died.)

i haven't talked about this actual short before since i had no desire to , but damn bro the way i felt bad for Red in this(っ °Д °;)っ he just wanted to have red stuff for him aswell, since apparently it wasn't dropping for him for some reason???? okay he should have included green and blue stuff aswell instead of possibly removing them but. still. Green and Blue were so fricking wrong in this

and !! his and Sec's tense relationship in the past seasons ... i love Sec he's literally my fav out of them all but i cannot defend xem on this. i know she had her reasons and im not saying Red was in the right either but, gosh ... pretty ironic given he's the one who inspired xem to break in in their site and join them in their battle

... i dont even need to explain do i

he lost a pet ... again. and because of his own fault aswell ! he knew the possible dangers of fusing the command block and the staff together , given how he almost got possessed alongside his friends the first time something like this happened , and yet ... he did it anyway . and beeper died as a consequence . i cant imagine how much guilt he must have felt .. (probably one of the main reasons why he didnt put up a fight when they put him in the timeout box)

thinking about this ; they are all really tragic characters tbh ,,, stepping away from the heavy angsty all of c!Alan's stickfigures go through , rygb goes through a lot of shit aswell , and tbh i just feel bad for all of them ; they are all such tragic characters that deserve a very well-needed break break/_ \

since we are in this topic aswell , i would like to mention how i really love Blue and his immediate rush in being a comfort for the others<3

i used to think Yellow was the therapist friend but we only ever saw him comfort Blue lolll ( i love him anyway ;; i think Blue is more of a therapist friend than he is though )
