Why does Ren have 4 ears? Are they all real or is one set fake?
Hehe I’ve gotten this question a lot actually! They’re all real— I like to think hybridization isn’t always a clean balance of traits, so Ren just unfortunately ended up with two sets of ears— his Dog ears being much more receptive to sound, naturally— and sometimes when the extra intake of sound is too overwhelming, I imagine he wears earplugs in his human ears to help adjust :> it’s a bit weird, but idk! i like to make designs funky and nonconventional! I liked the idea that Ren had hearing struggles due to wonky hybridization and just kept the concept :>

from The best thing that happened to me (at ESC) was that I got new friends to The best thing that ever happened to me
so, how does it feel to follow this evolvement
WHO EVEN SAYS THAT??? The best thing that ever happened to me??? Jere Pöyhönen. Jere Pöyhönen says that, also known as the guy who casually dropped that Bojan is his fire and water so I don’t know why I’m acting so surprised??
Can we just take a moment to appreciate all this
But how does it feel you ask me? It feels like I’m floating, the sun is shining even though it’s cloudy, my skin is clear, my crops watered. There’s a permanent grin etched on my clown face, I’m sure I scared a few people when I was out today. We. Just. Keep. Winning.

Something something about the alien hand call in 7x05 and Buck being the one being strangled.
Something something about Buck grappling with this new part of himself and coming out to people. Something something about the ‘fear’ of being judged or treated differently having him in a stranglehold because it’s still new to him and he doesn’t have it figured out himself yet.
Something something about being in 2 minds about telling people, about revealing himself - because the alien hand syndrome in this call occurs when the brains two lobes are separated - the connection severed - the brain is split in two

Honestly despite my feelings about how the last arc of MHA went down I really love Deku and his story.
I just feel like a lot of the time we get these protagonists whose whole philosophy is it doesn’t matter what you were born as everyone can achieve greatness. But then the series goes on and it turns out that actually it DOES matter because the protagonist has this really great lineage and these really great powers you can only have through birth they were actually born born, predestined if you will, to do this.
But MHA actually sticks to its guns. Midoriya wasn’t revealed to have some great connection to all might that the universe had put in place. He wasn’t defended from some great lineage that makes him uniquely suited to this. Hell All for one didn’t even turn out to be his father, there was no hidden powerful quirk he was always meant to have. He was just Midoriya Izuku a boy who was in the right place at the right time and simply decided to act while the world did nothing. And that’s what really made him a hero.
I don’t know, maybe it’s just me, but I believe him a bit more when he goes anybody can be a hero if you just decide to act

I must be the weirdest student. Can figure out complicated cataloguing systems because it Just Makes Sense. Struggles with assessment scenario because she got paralysed drafting an email to a fictitious manager because she didn’t know how Formal they wanted it to be.
My tutor: so do you need any help with understanding the cataloguing systems?
Me, absent-minded: oh nah that’s fine, I can do that
My tutor: haha wow you must be blazing through this topic the—
Me, on the verge of anxious tears: but how do I format an e-mail to a fictional manager I’ve never spoken to before I’m so confused
-
My teacher: can anyone explain ISBN?
Me: (starts to detail what ISBN is with great articulation)
My teacher: so here’s an exercise question for the last half an hour of class, feel free to ask any question— oh yes?
Me, emanating Super Anxious Vibes: so like. what exactly are we doing?
My teacher: uh. It’s all written in the question.
Me: no I know. I understood the sentence. But. How. How do you want us to do it? I’m— I’m confused.
My teacher: ???? Is this the same person??? What?

You know what I find so funny? That I’ve come across a lot of people on TikTok that have something against this one account that posts pjo content. I do too, I mean I got into an argument with them because they kept saying percabeth is strained because annabeth made Percy feel suicidal. And I ended up blocking them because they made a story saying that percabeth shippers need to calm down in their comment section because we’re crazy or something like that. And I just wanted to scream like this isn’t because you don’t ship percabeth, it’s because you constantly bash annabeth, unintentionally but prominently make Percy this stupid victim that can’t feel for himself, and think pereyna and Perachel had better development (not to bash pereyna or Perachel shippers, but in canon, this is just obviously not true). And I thought I was the only one who had something against this person but now people are speaking up about it I guess and I think it’s so funny because I’ve BEEN having problems with them.
