“I grew up without parental supervision in a mansion filled with stolen magical artifacts right next to the mundane not magic ones. Of course I was gonna develop my own magical signature.” He popped the lock, and Elle watched as Tim spit into his hand, using it to smudge the charcoal wards on the window frame. “I want a Mr. Whippy.”
She’s starting to see why Mr. Constantine is supposed to be watching them. Tim was clearly hyper independent, and didn’t seem to be worried about falling to his death, clambering out of the window to perch delicately on the fire escape. Elle also considered herself to be decently hyper independent but Danny had said to ‘trust Constantine and lay low’. Heading out to find whatever a Mr. Whippy was seemed like the opposite of laying low.
“What’s a Mr. Whippy?”
“Cheap ice cream with a Cadbury Flake. Best London’s got to offer. Want to help me find a place that sells them?”
“Did you really use necromancy? More than once? And try to clone someone?”
“I’ll tell you about the first guy I brought back if you help me annoy Constantine by breaking out. Never cloned anyone though. Like, I mean,” Tim trailed off and pulled his hoodie sleeves over his fingers, nervously fidgeting. “I looked into the schematics of possibly doing so. But cloning him wouldn’t have brought my friend back. So I never followed through.”

🪄 and 🌙 for Tillda please!
Sure thing!
Q: "🪄 (Magic Wand) - Are they capable of wielding magic? Is it a learned skill, or is it innate? What sorts of spells can they cast? Do they possess any magical items or artifacts? [e.g. the Dimensional Mantle]"
A: I headcanon that Taranza's species as a whole (including Tillda) have innate abilities in both plant and web magic (and probably crystal magic too). But that doesn't mean all of them practice or use that magic on a regular basis—Tillda, for example, rarely has a major reason to make webs aside from doing her hair, and she almost never uses her plant magic. So, she's not exactly battle-tested, but she wouldn't hesitate to sling a spell or two in self-defense.
PS: If Taranza's is pink and Sectonia's is golden, I think Tillda's magic aura ought to be purple!
(continued answers + sketches under the cut!)
PPS: It was mostly Tillda that supported Taranza's study of puppeteering magic (which is NOT one of their species' innate abilities). She didn't understand the first thing about it herself, but it was one of the few things that continued to make her little brother genuinely cheerful in the wake of their parents' sudden absence, so… escorting him to puppetry classes and sorcerers' seminars was soon just part of life.
Q: "🌙 (Moon) - Is your OC a particularly light or heavy sleeper? Somewhere in-between? Do they take naps?"
A: I would have to think Tillda is a heavy sleeper. Her job is pretty stressful and she always comes home tired. And she does take naps, but never intentionally…
(To be honest, she probably has chronic fatigue.)

ROUND 1A, MATCH 3 OUT OF 16
Monster Stats & Propaganda Under the Cut:
Silent Magician is used by Yugi Mutou. Its stats are the following:
Attribute: LIGHT
Level: 4
Type: SPELLCASTER / EFFECT
Effect Type: SUMMONING CONDITION, CONTINUOUS, QUICK, TRIGGER
Effect (according to the anime): "Cannot be Normal Summoned/Set. Must be Special Summoned (from your hand) by Tributing 1 Spellcaster-Type monster, and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways. This card gains 500 ATK for each card in your hand. Once per turn, during either player's turn, when a Spell Card is activated: You can negate the activation. If this card is destroyed by battle, or if this card in its owner's control is destroyed by an opponent's card effect: You can Special Summon 1 "Silent Magician" monster from your hand or Deck, except "Silent Magician", ignoring its Summoning conditions."
ATK: / DEF: 1000 / 1000
Propaganda:
Shes slay, she showed up for season 5 and helped win those duels for Yugi while he was separated from Yami. She faced so many aces (dark magician, dark magician girl, SLIFER THE SKY DRAGON) and she helped Yugi define himself as his own person in front of all his friends. Also she's a very cool metaphor for Yugi's growth throughout the series. Also also she's married to silent swordsman and has a daughter, silent paladin. Silent Magician is very beautiful in all her card art and is one of the few monsters to have different colors in the anime/manga and tcg/ocg. Also also, her hip windows are neuron activating.
The Kuriboh brothers are not one card, but five, all used by Yugi Mutou/Yami Yugi. They are Kuriboh, Kuribah, Kuribeh, Kuribee, and Kuriboo. I combined them into one entry so the Kuriboh Archetype didn't entirely take over a corner of the bracket, but also because they were mostly used as one monster by Yami.
Kuriboh's stats are already listed in this poll.
Kuribah: (Purple One)
Attribute: DARK
Level: 1
Type: FIEND / EFFECT
Effect Type: IGNITION
Effect (according to the anime): "You can remove from play 1 "Kuribeh", "Kuribee", "Kuriboh", "Kuriboo", and this card you control to Special Summon 1 "Kuribabylon" from your hand, Deck, or Graveyard."
ATK: / DEF: 300 / 200
Kuribeh: (Teal One)
Attribute: DARK
Level: 1
Type: FIEND / EFFECT
Effect Type: IGNITION / CONTINUOUS
Effect (according to the anime): "You can remove from play 1 "Kuribah", "Kuribee", "Kuriboh", "Kuriboo" and this card you control to Special Summon 1 "Kuribandit" from your hand or Deck. This card cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon."
ATK: / DEF: 300 / 200
Kuribee: (Pink One)
Attribute: DARK
Level: 1
Type: FIEND / EFFECT
Effect Type: TRIGGER/ CONTINUOUS
Effect (according to the anime): "When a face-up "Kuribah", "Kuribeh", "Kuribee", "Kuriboh" or "Kuriboo" you control is selected as an attack target, you can negate that attack. This card cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon."
ATK: / DEF: 300 / 200
Kuriboo: (White One)
Attribute: DARK
Level: 1
Type: FIEND / EFFECT
Effect Type: IGNITION / CONTINUOUS
Effect (according to the anime): "You can discard 1 Trap Card to select 1 face-up monster your opponent controls. That monster loses 1500 ATK until the End Phase. This card cannot be Tributed for a Tribute Summon."
ATK: / DEF: 300 / 200
Propaganda:
They are literally the cutest!!!!!!!!!!!! So colorful, so cute, so iconic.... the best thing that season 4 gave us.
