So my siblings and I were talking about who we think we'd all be in The Batman/DC universe and here's how that went:

We went to sleep and the next day, I asked [Oldest Brother] what he thought of our analysis since he did not participate in our group chat the night before.

Oldest Brother: I think some of the calls were spot on, like [Youngest Brother] being analogous to Plastic man; incredibly gifted to the point you're glad he's just having some fun, not using his strengths for evil.

Oldest Brother: I don't think [Me] would be an Indigo lantern, I don't think any of us are strong enough in a single emotion for any individual Lantern Corps; not because we lack those qualities, but because the Bar is so High. Having said that, I do think her heart is one of her strongest points, so on some level I would put her in the shoes of either Batman or the Flash.

The sound of a happy piano was played on my phone, I shot up from my slumber, in a cold sweat, and my face was hot.

"What was I dreaming of...?" I scratched my head, turning off my alarm. The dream... It was of this girl...she was beautiful...

All the guys were staring at her, and when she finally got to our table she smiled at us, I don't know but suddenly my stomach felt funny, a blush krept onto my cheeks.

"Hello, welcome to Woo Cafe, what would you guys like?" She said smiling at us twirling the pen she had in her right hand.

Wow... She was so beautiful... The way she looks like a flower that just bloomed, she looks so cute to with her hair up, I wonder if she's dating anyone, does she like anyone-

My train of thought ended when I heard Felix started choking on something, "Ah I'm f-fine." He coughs out smiling at her when he's done.

"Oh uh do you guys wanna order now? I can wait a few seconds." She pointed with her thumb behind her back in the cafe.

"No!" We all said, she halted her movement and nodded her head.

On a more serious note, I think I am the only person in the fandom who has bad luck enough to not have gotten not only just one but both of these cards. Yay. Not the kind of exclusive conquest I wanted but I guess it counts.

It's hard to tell which one I wanted more because besides the fact that both cards add important facts to the lore, they are completely different. This is really the only thing they have in common.

Snowy Serenity has everything I like:Angst, a strong woman saving her man, Zayne being clear about his feelings WITH WORDS, a really dark aesthetic that I really like and they kiss MORE THAN ONCE. And they go right into it because those kisses were DEEP. PASSIONATE. Not that I don't like the Doomsday Card, I love it, but THAT ONE RIGHT HERE is the card they were kissing like the world was about to end and that would be the last time they would kiss. Also those kisses show MCs face and not just her back and her hair like all of the other kissing scenes we had so far not only with Zayne but with Xavier and Rafayel(because we haven't got Sylus yet and knowing me I will probably try and lose his too). I also like the fact that Zayne tries to contain himself even though he is THIRSTY and never wanted, never NEEDED, anything in his life like he needed that kiss and he STILL only goes fully into the kiss when he realizes MC is closing her eyes and reaching out too.

However, Eternal Attachment has SMILEY ZAYNE. Seriously, he never looked happier. And never looked more IN LOVE. No, I swear, if MC had any doubts this man was hers she threw them all in the trash after this because OH MY GOD, ZAYNE YOU ARE RAISING THE BAR WAY TOO HIGH!!! STOP BEING THE STANDARD, WE'LL NEVER FIND SOMEONE LIKE YOU IN REAL LIFE!!! No angst at all, just fluff everywhere which is something that I love. And while the kisses were the standard kisses in this game, more delicate and soft and not showing MCs face, MC is the one who starts them! And then Zayne kisses her again. And even though it were just two kisses(in Snowy Serenity you lose count of how many they were), the romantic setup, the buildup to the kiss, the fact that is his birthday, autumn being way too pretty of a season and the perfect scenery(as much as I love Snowy Serenity, an abandoned hq is not exactly the most romantic place in the world), everything is just so perfect. Even though I like angst my man Zayne needs a break from it every once in a while.

What makes me more calm about it is that 1:They are definitely times they kissed off screen or that there was a kiss implied but they didn't show, so I can imagine those. 2:I got Hidden Motive and they definitely had sex in this card so I'll just assume they kissed too during it. And I like how, along with Xavier's, Zayne's card is the one that leaves the impression that they had sex the most. I mean, look at this:

Specially with Xavier, MC goes like:"The memories of last night are still livid in my mind." And then puts a bandage on a "red mark on Xavier's collarbone." I'm sorry, but it doesn't get more obvious than this. Meanwhile, with Sylus and Rafayel I was like "Okay...Did they really have sex or was it just a really intense makeout session?" Because with Rafayel they kiss on the bath tub(that saliva string was SOMETHING) and go back to the room still clothed and we are inclined to think they didn't go all the way because Rafayel is a lemurian, not a human. So does he even know how to do it? Because he probably never done it before and we know how sensitive he can be so is he even ready to it? Can he even take it? And with Sylus we are in the bathroom and it shows him carrying us somewhere so I think this card didn't need much to imply that we really got there. Just something like "After that, we left the bedroom" or anything similar to that would do the work. But instead we just jump to them on the balcony in a way that implies that nothing meaningful happened after the bathroom because both MC and Sylus are not acting different from the start of the trip to the end of it. It seems like they didn't even kiss after leaving the bathroom. It's understandable choice tho because we didn't even got a kissing scene and a confession scene with Sylus yet so jumping right into it would be skipping a lot of steps that the other boys got, which would be unfair to Sylus and us; Sylus girlies. 3:We will probably have a rerun eventually. I don't think we'll have it anytime soon but I imagine it will happen one day so I'll have a second chance. And 4:There will most likely have more kissing cards. I can't miss all of them, right??? (Pls don't answer that)

I was still wearing the violet saree, the pleats slightly undone, the earrings heavy now, my hair frizzing slightly from the rooftop breeze. But I didn’t care. Not when my phone kept vibrating like a ticking bomb.

Boss: Era, I need you in Busan tomorrow morning. It's urgent. Our VVIP client's son. You're the only one I trust.

And that was that. I didn’t even argue. Of course, I’d go. That’s what I did—showed up, fixed things, made dreams come true. My best friend's wedding was done. Her dream had been fulfilled. I did my part.

But I couldn’t find the strength to walk back in and see everyone again. Not after what tonight felt like. Something strange had been sitting in my chest ever since the bouquet landed in my hands.

“She said she got called for an emergency project. Left me a text.” He frowned. “Didn’t even say bye?”

“She was wearing the same saree. Just threw on a coat and left.”

He didn’t say anything. Just turned around and stared off at the dark sky. The city lights still glittered, but for the first time that night… he felt like the party had officially ended.

At the Airport

I sat at the gate, legs crossed, fingers flying over my laptop as I confirmed venues, florists, and photography teams for Jackson's new event. Across from me, a little girl kept staring at my saree, eyes wide with awe. I smiled softly and waved.

No time to rest. No time to think about bouquets or white suits or what it meant to leave without a goodbye.

This is who I am. A wedding planner. The best one he has. And I don’t stay.

The wedding was over. The lights dimmed. The laughter had faded into memory. The scent of roses and food had long left the air.

Everyone returned to their lives, as they always do.

And yet—He still saw it.

Soonyoung Kwon leaned back in his leather office chair, glasses pushed up into his hair, paperwork piled on the side, and an open case file blinking on his laptop screen.

“I don’t know.” He stared out the window. “Something. Anything.”

At the Wang HQ – Busan

Era adjusted the earpiece tucked under her hair and paced through the event venue. Her heels clicked across the marble floor as she directed decorators, coordinated lighting, and fixed floral arrangements with the precision of a queen.

But when her phone buzzed—another FaceTime from Ela—she finally took a breath and stepped into the hallway.

“Why does your husband keep stealing my best friend time?” she teased as the screen lit up with Ela's pouty face and Wonwoo’s hand casually throwing grapes in his mouth behind her.

“You’ll survive,” Ela grinned. “Anyway, Mingyu said Hoshi’s been acting weird.” Era rolled her eyes. “That man is weird.”

“You sure there’s nothing there?”

“I’m sure. He’s annoying. He flirts with everyone. He’s loud. And—” She paused. “—He stayed away just like I told him.”

I don't like heart stopper. I will never watch it, I never liked the plot synopsis I read, I never liked the comics, never liked the clips I've seen, I never liked the fanfic, I've never even liked the heartstopper AU's I've seen. I've had so many people be like, (actual conversation I've had.) "oh! You're gay! You should watch heartstopper!" And I'm honestly at this point convinced it's because I'm a dude that they recommend it. Because I have never seen these people recommend it to lesbians, ever. IVE HAVE PEOPLE WHO NEVER WATCHED THE SHOW AND BARELY KNOW WHAT IT IS RECOMMENDED IT TO ME. its the same reason I will never watch Arcane. It's not just because I don't like it, I've watched things I haven't liked before on multiple occasions (like marvel or other superhero media.) No, its because its so heavily shoved down my throat by the people IRL in my life that even just looking at it on Netflix repulsed me. "You like animation, watch Arcane. You like love stories, watch heartstopper!" and it's not JUST the suggestion. It's the fact they can't take the word NO. Like, real conversation I had just a moment ago.

So I heard that my fave Parutan from PD101 JP has a new group but it's already a bad idea?! People want her to leave?! Plus like do you knwo anything else about another group that's suppose to debut that mankae line from PD101? I am so confused!

I don't know a ton about all the former contestants from PD101 JP. I really only follow ME:I seriously, IS:SUE casually, etc. So what I mostly found is from the Produce101JP subreddit - not saying it's accurate but it's where I checked to try and answer this. I double checked where I could, but always do your own searches, etc. Parutan aka Sakuraba Haruka, has signed with Asobisystem (home of Atarashii Gakko!, Fruits Zipper, etc) - her new group is called CUTIE STREET. They are debuting August 4th if I understand their Instagram correctly. The controversy is another member, not Haruka, was 'exposed' for having a fan account of a boy idol. Apparently fans are demanding that SHE leave since she only wants to be an idol to meet him, etc. In my opinion: this is bullshit and should blow over in a like a week. So it's not Parutan they want to leave, it's this other member. Regarding the mankae line: Nagomi is a member of the group, MADEIN which is a Kpop unit. They have members formerly from Kep1er, and LIMELIGHT. They are debuting sometime in September from my understanding. Takahashi Hina has been announced, along with former PD101 JP contestant Uchiyama Rin, to have signed with Poprod with a debut anticipated for early 2025.

Another tidbit I've mentioned before, but not to be confused with Haruka's group, is that Riryday - which has Hosoi Ayaka, Okabe Nana, and Kitazume Sakura debuted August 2nd. That's all the subreddit had mentioned regarding debuts and things that I am aware of. Highly recommending checking it out for info about other contestants if you are looking for updates, etc. I hope all the groups have successful debuts and more!

Agartha is the most hated chapter next to Septum. They were written by the same person if I remember correctly? It's very much specifically a him problem, he's quite bad at writing.

I like Astolfo, but I watched Apocrypha so a lot of it comes from there. I also agree that it was nice to see fate lean into him being an actual villain! Wish it had happened in a better chapter!

When it comes to Wu... I don't really know how I feel about her tbh. When it comes to lolis in Fate... there is no innocent explanation I am willing to give them because I know Prisma Illya exists. And because of something related to Abigail Williams I won't get into yet because I don't know if you have done Salem or not. No amount of interesting takes on a character excuses sexualizing a child, it's honestly my biggest ick with the series as a whole.

Back to Agartha for a second... fgo does this thing where it will introduce a female historical figure who is known for having been sexualized and degraded and it will make her character design hyper sexual, and they do this constantly. There are a lot of arguments about this, some say it's about reclaiming a woman's power and agency but I don't really find myself able to accept that. It sort of rings hollow when you are a gacha game that makes money off of making sexy women. It's kind of like a makeup company advertising women's empowerment as a key part of their brand identity. Sure, your founders and employees might really believe that, but you are pushing skincare products towards a younger and younger age demographic because it makes you money.

I don't know if you are familiar with NeiR at all, but the weird guy who makes it has been pretty open about the fact that he made 2b look like that because he thought it would be sexy. I have 0 problems with that, what I don't like is when a game or franchise makes money off of sexy women and then bends over backwards to justify why they do that. But then again, bending over backwards to justify things is sort of Fate does at all times anyway so maybe I'm just over thinking things. It is nice to have a chance to talk about these things and still be allowed to like the series! The fight scenes in fate are peak as are some of the concepts they come up with, I just don't always enjoy it when they start pandering because well. It's not like they're pandering to me now are they?

Friend:People are pissed that Deku didn’t save Tomura. Some are saying the story hasn’t followed through on themes.

Me:…But Tomura stood up and saved himself from All For One. Deku reached the little boy and kept his beliefs despite the easier choice to write Tomura off and focus on putting him down.

Friend:….

Me:That’s literally what Todoroki and Ochako did too. They faced their adversaries with compassion despite the risks.

Friend:Yeah but Tomura died so people are pissed.

Me:But it’s not like he was sorry for anything! He went out doing what he wanted, destroying things on his own terms! If he lived, he wasn’t gonna regret his actions and even if he did, you’re putting him in a jail forever. He’s ruined a country and filled graves. Every citizen would want him gone!

Friend:I personally wanted him to be final big bad.

Me:I get the sentiment but I don’t know, this all makes sense. Dabi is probably going to prison or a ward for a long time cause he also doesn’t care about human life or his own. Toga and Spinner are the only two living villains that actively still felt like they wanted a place to belong instead of letting it all burn. Plus it’s actually societies fault in their development/failings rather than Boogeyman plotting his decade long schemes.

Friend:So you like how this ended?

Me:It’s Reasonable. I’m sure Deku himself will be disappointed Tomura is dead but he literally did everything he could and did not waver in his beliefs to help everyone who looks like they’re calling for help.

Friend:What if he comes back?

Me:What comes back? How is it him without AFO at all? Also, once again, that man doesn’t seem sorry! Even if he is, the world rightfully wants you in a prison underwater! Someone would want his hands removed!
