Memory training exercise. Remember words with ease!

There is no such thing as a poor memory, only a trained and an untrained one. This isn't some new idea, it was used thousands of years ago, back in ancient Rome senators used these techniques to memorize their speeches. Lucious Scipio used this to memorize the names of every person in Rome alive in his time. And Seneca got so proficient with the system I'm about to teach you he could memorize two thousand words by just hearing them once. The main goal of this program of course isn't to teach to to do memory tricks or to help you to cheat when you play poker, you will be able to, but it isn't the main focus. The main focus of this program is to make your life easier. You will be able to remember names, shopping lists, phone number without any hassle. If you have a poor memory don't worry you will be considered to have an amazing memory in no time.

I don't believe anyone with an untrained memory can memorize 20 unassociated items. Before going into it you need to know that your trained memory will be based on mental images, they will be easily recalled if they are made as ridiculous as you can. Not only that but you need to imagine feeling, smelling even tasting the image.

So here is your challenge. Memorize these 20 objects in order, forwards and backwards: carpet, paper, bottle, bed, fish, chair, window, phone, cigarette, nail, typewriter, shoe, microphone, pen, tv, plate, donut , car, tea pot, brick.

It may seem hard, but you will see it's child play using the link method.

The first word is carpet, just imagine a carpet that is in your house.

The second word is paper, now imagine your carpet is made out of paper, when you step on it it crinkles.

The third word is bottle, imagine trying to drink water from a bottle that is made out of paper as soon as you try lifting it up all the water goes out of the sides.

The forth word is bed. Imagine sleeping on a bed made out of plastic bottles, some of them seem to be open and they get water on you when you as you lay on them.

The fifth word is fish. Imagine sleeping on a bed made out of fish. It's very slimy and smelly.

The sixth word is chair. Imagine a giant fish is sat down on your chair, as you try to get close it slaps you with it's tail.

The seventh word is window. Imagine grabbing the chair you are sitting on and throwing it out of the window.

The eight word is phone. Imagine looking out of the window and suddenly the window starts ringing and the glass turns into a display.

The ninth word is cigarette. Imagine lighting your phone on fire on one end and smoking it like a cigarette.

The tenth word is nail. Imagine trying to use cigarettes instead of nails when you are hanging a picture on the wall.

The eleventh word is typewriter. Imagine a typewriter with keys made out of sharp nails. Typing on it is very painful and bloody.

The twelveth word is shoe. Imagine wearing typewriters for shoes.

The thirteenth word is microphone. Imagine singing karaoke using an old smelly shoe instead of a microphone.

The fourteenth word is pen. Imagine holding a big microphone like a pen as you try to write on a piece of paper with it.

The fifteenth word is TV. Imagine you sit down on your couch to watch netflix, but on your wall there is a giant pen instead of a TV.

The sixteenth word is plate. Imagine eating dinner on a TV monitor.

The seventeenth word is donut, imagine biting into a donut and realizing it's made out of ceramic like a plate, it's very crunchy.

The eighteenth word is car. Imagine driving on the highway on a giant donut, it's very soft and tasty.

The nineteenth word is coffee pot. Imagine holding a coffee pot while driving, as you press on the brakes piping hot coffee spills on your lap.

The twentieth word is brick. Imagine a wall made out of coffee pots.

Not lets test how much you've remembered.

The first word is carpet. Write it down on a piece of paper or in a text document on your computer and write down the other 19 words in order. If you want to take it up a notch try writing them down backwards starting with brick.

I think everyone who trains herders or retrievers should also train a less biddable breed to keep you humble.

Nothing like training your Belgian shepherd puppy to do a task in ten seconds and then it takes weeks to backchain the same task for your dachshund because he doesn't see the point of the task and also he demands fair wages and by god you had better reward him consistently or he's outta here.

Also while having your Belgian enjoy training is great, having your dachshund present himself for his training session is incredibly gratifying. You know you're doing something right when the "all work must be negotiated per my union contract" dog demands his turn.

doing chibi is a good design exercise bc it forces u to think on shapes n essential details, essentially thumbnailing ur designs. its also a terrible design exercise bc it ends up looking cute no matter what

Ellie is Cass

So! Years ago, Ellie began to destabilize again. They finally figured out that the reason she was destabilizing was because her Core was too young to sustain a Fully Grown Ghosts Body. The only way to save her was to Revert her to her True Age, so her Core could healthily grow alongside her Body. She would lose her Memories, but she would survive.

But, there was an incident. A Mercenary had attacked the Fenton's Lab one day while they were Babysitting Ellie, and killed both of Danny's parents. Then, that motherf#cker had kidnapped his Daughter.

And Danny searched for her, he did. He searched for Years on End, sent all the Ghost Allies he had to try and find her, got the word out in the Zone that his Daughter had been kidnapped. But nobody could find her.

It was like the Assasin has dropped off the face of the Earth, but even then he had his contacts searching Deep Space and the Zone as well. He just couldn't find her.

Still, he would not rest until he found his daughter. And the one who took her would have more than just Hell to pay.

For David Cain meanwhile, he had struck Gold on his most recent mission. He had been hired by the League if Assasins to go and kill a pair of scientists who had somehow managed to get their hands on Lazarus Water. Apparently they had gotten it a while ago, but had somehow gone under the Radar for years.

But while he was there, he came across something Special. A Lazarus Touched Child. One who seemed to be more Blessed than Any Other Lazarus Touched he had ever heard of. And she was just a Baby.

A Baby who could be raised and Moulded into a Weapon, as any Lazarus Touched should be.

So, he took the Baby and presented it to the League. Ra's ordered that he raise the Child as a Perfect Weapon, to be used as his Bodyguard and Attack Dog. And so he did.

For years, he raised the Child in the most Secluded base he could. There was no need for him to teach it Language beyond following orders, so he filled its head with absolutely nothing but how best to Kill.

Unfortunately, the Weapon managed to escape after its first mission. He tried to track it down for Years, but to no avail. He should expect nothing less from a Lazarus Touched who had been trained from Birth to be the perfect assasin, but he guesses he should have expected this.

Still, he will find the Weapon. And he will teach it why it should have never attempted to escape.

Cass had been feeling off for a while.

Well, No, that's not right, it's more accurate to say that she had never felt truly right. For as far back as she can remember, since her earliest days of childhood, she had always had a nagging sensation in the back of her mind, telling her that something was missing.

She didn't know what though. Was it an Object? A Memory? A Person? She had no idea.

For some reason, the feeling had lessened a little when she got adopted by Bruce. She felt a bit more whole, like some part of her had found a part of what it was looking for, but at the same time the rest of her still felt as if it was missing something.

And recently it had gotten even stronger. She couldn't ignore it anymore, she needed to find the thing her heart was yearning for.

She needed to feel Whole again. Again?

Mhmm I sure love thinking of the reality where we did get more time to really know Karai and her dynamics with the bros. Losing her hit hard in the finale, but it would’ve hit much, much harder had we known Karai longer and really saw her relationships develop with everyone.

I especially would have been interested in her dynamic with Leo, as past iterations often have the two of them clash in ideals and the like while still sharing many characteristics. Two sides of the same coin, and all that. Her specifically being the bros’ Gram-Gram also adds a whole new dynamic as well.

Imagine how interesting it would be, to have Karai start off on Leo’s side for once, showing wholly just how alike the two are at their cores and bonding as family without the worry of betrayal or animosity that other iterations suffer through, only to have Karai die anyway. Their parting hug and the desperate look of horror Leo wears later on would have hit that much harder, I feel.

The gag is Zoro and Shanks aren’t that different. Zoro is also completely reckless with his body less so now but I have no doubt that even now if he needed to cut off any part of his body to win, to save his crew he would do it without hesitation just like shanks.

And the thing is Mihawk would still fight him as long as Zoro can pick up a sword Mihawk would still fight him and relish in it.

Zoro loses an eye, Mihawk still trains him.

And Shanks…..Shanks loses his mind a little bit
