CHARACTER DESIGN NOTES FROM THE 4GAMER INTERVIEW

🍎 HALLRITT - "I told them that I absolutely wanted to include the ribbon in the upper right corner, no matter how cute it turned out to be. It also includes the image of Kitty's blue overalls on his suspenders. The yellow ribbon on his boots is an image of Kitty's twin, Mimmy."

🎼MEROLD - "He was drawn together with Blue Bouquet's Kurode. My Melody wears a hood, as she was originally designed as a "Little Red Riding Hood". The slit on the side was inspired by the design of the slit under My Melody's neck."

🍀PURUTH - "Since Pompompurin is a golden retriever, one of many dog designs, the belt-like thing coming out of his waist has the image of a leash. The shoes on the left and right sides are different, reflecting Purin's hobby of collecting and hiding one shoe on each side."

🌹 ROMARRICHE - "The silhouette of Marroncream's puff sleeves is expressed by wearing a cape. The floral pattern and polka dots are also inspired by her. We have not yet shown the back view, but there is also a lot of attention to detail hidden in the cape."

🐟 RIMICHA - "Kirimi-chan was the first runner-up in the "Eating Character General Election," so we gave him a distinctive mouth. Also, the asymmetry of his hair expresses their (Kirimichan) original silhouette, which is voluminous on the right side. The fishnet stockings are an image of a grill…!"

🌺 SANAH - "Usahana is a character who values the colorful colors she gets from the sky and flowers, so we took advantage of that. Also, around the year 2000, when Usahana debuted, sticker exchanges were popular, so we also incorporated that image into the design."

☁ CIELOMORT - "While also expressing Cielomort's royal and mysterious image, we incorporated motifs from Cinnamoroll, such as "clouds," "sky," and "white puppy". Cinnamoroll is also characterized by his swirling tail, so we made Cielomort's hair curly as well."

👿 KURODE - "As far as the spiritual nature is concerned, the theme of "becoming who you want to be" is the basis of Kuromi's work, and it makes use of the visual sense of "The World Kuromification Project". In contrast to the fluffy cuteness of Merold, I imagined a darker cuteness."

✉️ WILLMESH - "Wish Me Mell is a postman's helper, so he is given a mail bag and a brooch with a sealing wax motif. The polka dot pattern on Wish Me Mell's palm is reproduced with a polka dot bandage."

💫 KLARKSTELLA - "Kiki and Lala are "dreamy and cute" and "starry-eyed," so we developed them from there and based the costume on the image of pajamas. The twin-leaf-like hair on the top of her head is also inspired by Kiki and Lala. Another point is that they are tall."

🌟 LOUTERSTELLA - "His basic image is just the same as Klarkstella's, but we were careful to not simply make them different colors. They both have a dreamy atmosphere, but not too cute, and I think they have beautiful designs with a mythological mystery."

🌾 MYUNNA - "The design of the "spirit of flour" is based on the "fragile cuteness" of Cogimyun, who looks as if he might be blown away and turned into powder. Also, the back of his dress is a silhouette of Cogimyun's pet shrimp, and the decorations on his shoes are also based on her signature."

🐊 BADOBARM - "Bad Badztamaru's mischievous boyish atmosphere has been reproduced as a life-size male figure. Also, the "Xs and Os" shape, which is often used by Bad Badztmaru himself, is used in many of the costume decorations. By the way, Badztmaru's pet crocodile is called "Pochi," while the crocodile-shaped fairy with Badobarm is "Tama.""

🐶 CHACO - "We tried to express Pochacco's silhouette and his skateboarding element with the image of a very active child. We were particular about the balance of colors so that it would not be monotone, so we gave the hair color a unique look so that it would not be similar to other children."

🐣 ARUPEK - "From Ahiru No Pekkle's treasured bucket, we gave him a water pistol as an element for water. The large feet are also reproduced in his shoes. The hunting cap has a bird-like silhouette. The "1989" on the patch is Pekkle's debut year!"

🐧 TUXAM - "Tuxedo Sam is a gentlemanly penguin boy who has studied abroad in England, so we kept his noble image in mind. His hat is a combination of the sailor hat Sam wears and the hat of Sherlock Holmes... Who is famous in England. On the stick is an ice cream cone that Sam often spills."

🐙 HANGYON - "We designed the bewitching element based on Hangyodon, a half-fish man born in China. The round eyes are represented by sunglasses, and the pink color of Hangyodon's lips is incorporated into the lenses and makeup. The fairy on his shoulder, "Lily," was inspired by Sayuri, an octopus who is a good friend of Hangyodon."

🐸 PIKERO - "Since his lord's real name is "Keroppi Hasunoue (Keroppi above a lotus)", we added a black pattern to the umbrella to make it look like a lotus leaf. Also, it is hard to tell, but his eyes are pink, which represents the color of Keroppi's cheeks. His overall image is not Chinese, but Vietnamese."

Hii, how are u? idk if you're taking request or something, but I've been having this idea stuck in my mind, about König and task force 141 running to help the reader who is in some troubles during a mission with them, and the reader is singing "I need a hero" while is fighting and hiding while they arrive to help and at the end everything ends well and everybody laughs of the reader singing while was in this big trouble...

like the reader using singing to keep them occupied and a way to try and calm them while they’re in trouble. AND THEY CAN HEAR IT ON THE WALKIE BUT THEY CANT LAUGH.

(Callsign will be ‘Shark’ again, just to make it easier instead of always using reader or they pronouns)

Shark was left behind in the safe house, they felt nauseous and seasick after the boat ride. So, they just left them at an empty house to hide while they do the first part of the plan, just scoping the area out and double checking how well the plan will actually go.

Shark was lazily resting on the couch, dirty boots discarded on the floor next to them, with an arm draped over their eyes. Trying not to move too much or look around to make them even more nauseous.

After a couple more minutes of long, deep, breaths and having to stay still for 30 minutes, they felt okay enough to finally breath normally. With nothing left to do they decided to check up on them. Reaching across their chest to their walkie.

“Update?” Shark waited, listening to the white noise.

“Alpha Golf” Shark rolled their eyes at Ghost’s voice, not expecting him to be the one to respond.

“Speak normally. Saying that takes longer than just sayin’ ‘All good’” Of course Shark had to say something, taking every opportunity to nitpick Ghost, and pick at his patience.

“Shut up” They heard back.

“Hallo!” König’s voice rang through, making them smile unconsciously.

“Feelin’ better?” Price’s gruff voice checked in on them.

“You throw up yet?”

“Eww” Soap exaggerated his disgust.

All of their little messages and chiming in made them less bored, better than just staring at the ceiling.

“Oi! You have your own radio!” Ghost’s annoyed voice boomed through their end. Making Shark laugh, they imagined that they were all leaned into Ghost’s chest to talk to them.

“Asshole” Soaps little hushed comment made them laugh even more. He must’ve whispered it in his own walkie, not knowing that they’re all on the same channel so they’d all hear it, including Ghost. They can just imagine the stop-in-tracks and stare from Ghost.

“3:10” Shark groan, impatient, it’s been 30 minutes since they last talked to them. They were gonna take a while since it’s quite a distance to get to the site and they had to be extra cautious as to not get caught.

They hummed songs and little snippets of things they hear on the internet to try and pass time. A creak interrupted their own cover of Bruno Mars ‘Treasure’. Shark’s gloved hand immediately flung to their gun, small handgun close to their body as they sat up.

Eyes trailed from their boots to their boots on the floor, then back at the door, then to the hall, back to the door. There wasn’t enough time to get their boots not, not taking the risk.

Three men emerged from their hiding places, all masked, and all armed, unfortunately. Dammit. Shark’s eyes frantically shifted between the three men that slowly closed in on them and then to their surroundings and blocked exit.

“Mother fucka—” Shark decided it was better to take their chances at running away than to be caught and a liability as a hostage, compromising the mission. Spinning on their heel to kick away their gun then elbow the closest man on the neck.

As fast as they can they wrapped their arm around the man’s neck and turned to use his body as a meat shield. Too slow to react and too late to stop the bullets, his teammates fired shots into his chest in a failed attempt to get to Shark.

Immediately booking it to the back door and running into the woods. Cringing at the feeling of twigs and small pebbles that rubbed and poked the bottom of their feet, nothing but the fabric of their socks.

For some reason they were still in that same singy feeling. A nervous tick to try and make their head clearer to make better decisions. Shark started to sing, scat, the doo doo doo’s of the beginning of the famous song awarded for best music moment, Holding Out for a Hero.

The two little ash’s of the song was sung, sorta, when Shark tripped on a thick, fallen, trunk of a tree, and the second played when a bullet flied past them dangerously close to the top of their head. They flipped the switch of their walkie, now’s a good time to alert the others that the empty cabin isn’t safe.

“—FUCK. THERE’S MORE???” Right as they flipped the switch, a different kind of gun fire blasted through the woods, they looked back and saw 5 more goons running after them.

“Shark! Fuck’s happening?!” Price’s voiced yelled through the walkie, almost immediately, responding when the first gunshot rang through the walkies.

“THEY’RE GONNA GET MY ASS. THEY’RE GONNA EAT MY ASS” They were too panicked to properly answer, properly tell them that they were not safe, but I think they got the message through.

Price immediately set his team out, thinking of the best and fastest route to get back. They’ve done enough scoping out for now. Shark just had to hold out on their own for a bit. Still continuing their own performance.

“Where have all the good men gone and where are all the gods?” They continued, finding an abandoned warehouse and running inside, their stalkers following in as well. Their heavy breathing from the running cut through their notes.

“Where’s the streetwise Hercules to fight the rising odds?” When the first soldier came in they took the opportunity to shoot him twice in the knee, they can’t kill them, but they can slow them down. The lyrics came so naturally, they could even hear the background singers in their head.

“Late at night, I toss and I turn and I dream of what I neED! AHH—” They stumble out the half open window, small enough to get through, while the other soldiers have to get back out to continue the chase, leaving their injured soldier back.

The entire time, they left their walkie on, too distracted from the bullets that almost scratched their insides to remember to switch it off. They all could hear it as they ran back to the truck to speed their way back to the lone cabin. They wanted to laugh at how Shark dealed with the situation but felt it was too soon.

“I need a hERO— AGH. I-I’m holdin’ out for a hero ‘till the end of the nIGHT” Shark had to take a sharp turn into the thick woods and hide behind a tree, crouched down, half a minute later the rest of the men followed. By now the saviors had their suspicions that maybe the song chose unconsciously was a subtle message to them to hurry the fuck up.

They were safe for now but it was only a couple minutes until they can see that their trail stopped and they had to retrace it back to them. Shark used their knife to help them climb up the thick trunk of the tree and sit on a high branch, unconsciously hugging the trunk.

“He’s gotta be strong, haah, and he’s gotta be fast, and he’s gotta be fresh from the fight” For some reason they continued to sing, in a way, as a way to calm their breathing and heart beat down, wheezing and gasping in between verses. Very quite and very hushed as to not get caught if the men ever came back. The adrenaline too much, they started to zone out.

“There!” Gaz pointed out, running up the ruffled leaves, following the tracks, and finding a single white sock. White cotton sock with a blue stripe along the rim and two pieces of fabric to look like bunny ears, small bunny face on the toe part.

“Shark’s” Soap shook his head, gaining hope after long dread. They started to lose hope after a while since they couldn’t find any trace of Shark. Price motion his hand forward, signaling his team to continue on. Gaz pocketed the sock.

The crunching of leaves pulled Shark back to the present, they immediately froze. Unconsciously slowed their breathing and heart pumping faster. They listened to the footsteps and dry leaf crunching getting louder and louder, closer and closer.

“Look! Bunny sock!” König’s voice picked up on Shark’s ears. König’s caught everyone’s attention and pointed up at Shark’s dangling foot with the matching bunny sock. They looked down and saw the five of them looking up at them hugging the spruce wood.

“Christ. Took ya’ long enough” They scoffed, starting to climb down. They were thankful, just putting out some sarcasm after what just happened.

“Don’t worry, Shark. Heros are here” Price teased. Half way down Shark fell back, with enough trust, Price caught Shark with ease. They patted his chest before jumping off and dusting themselves off. They were surprised with his comment. Huh, I was just singing about that. But they dismissed it, wanting to save themselves from embarrassment.

“Guess ya’ didn’t need to hold out until the end of the night” Ghost spoke up, quoting a lyric from the song, to subtly hint Shark that they heard everything.

🔥 Ace has a very physical love style, he enjoys expressing himself through touch and affection. Though it makes the situation at hand all the more difficult, he would never complain or be upset about it. He understands, he truly does. Ace just doesn’t understand how else he can fully convey his love other than affection. He believes actions weigh more than words and even though he always tells {Name} just how much he loves them, it just never felt adequate. Ace never once desired to push {Name} beyond their limitations. 

🔥It was obvious there was aversion to touch and affection. {Name} had always kept people at arm's length, Ace was a little closer than most and he treasured the trust placed in him by his partner. Ace came to learn through their mannerisms and occasional openings in their guard about how they were uncomfortable with physical touch and the idea of being intimate. Ace held off on affection, unless he felt {Name} was having a good day, he moved slowly and always checked to truly make sure they were fine. If any minute reaction showed discomfort or fear, he would leave them be and comfort them when {Name} apologized for being this way. 

🔥Ace felt there were strides of progress, regarding his relationship with {Name}. They had gotten into a comfort zone of sorts, hand holding and the occasional hug was steadily becoming more frequent and comforting, sometimes it was even {Name} to be the one to initiate. Maybe due to the constant security and comfort Ace provided, {Name} felt safe enough to divulge their very painful past. The trauma that made them this way and how that trauma made even the most gentle of touch feel like fire and fear in one fatal combination. 

🔥{Name} dug deep to pull everything up and out. They thought they would be ready to discuss everything, it proved not to be the case. The revisitation of trauma set the panic deep in their bones, they choked up. The cold feeling began to run down their shoulders, down their back as the feeling faded from their hands and feet. The tears came out uncontrollably.  Ace panicked internally, he didn’t want to show it outright in case it made {Name’s} current state worse. He comforted them, speaking in a soft voice telling them it was alright not to face it right now, not until {Name} was ready. He informed them over and over again how {Name} never had to force themselves to do anything. 

🔥They sputtered never ending apologies on repeat, alternating between words of self blame and apologies to Ace. This had sent {Name} back into the worst possible mindset, thanks to how adamantly and patiently Ace listened, comforted them and gently hushed their apologies. He deemed the apologies unnecessary, after all there was no reason for {Name} to say sorry when they were never the ones in the wrong. Maybe it was that very warmth and comfort that helped them gain a grip, something that helped to steady their uneven and shallow breath, easing the pain in their chest. The world stopped spinning and they were calming down. 

🔥Ace inwardly blamed himself, the initial happenings he knew was not his fault. He just spiraled with the concept that maybe had he just not been so eager, or forthcoming and overwhelming with his advances then {Name} might not have felt so pressured to discuss this, or put themselves in a position to relive their worst trauma. {Name} never once actually thought like this, they felt so trusting of Ace that they wanted to tell him. Ace smiled on the surface, a soft and meek smile. One designed to comfort his partner without alluding to his true thoughts of guilt and self blame. 

🔥It took a lot of communication and understanding to see where both of them were. Trying to hold these fragmented talks while suffering in their own thoughts was only hurting them. {Name} took Ace’s comfort to heart, knowing they weren’t obligated nor were they ready to talk about things and that was okay. Ace communicated his own misunderstanding and insecurities, the talk was difficult but they found a middle ground. A comfortable place in which to meet each other emotionally, taking it one step at a time.

Sabo

🎩 Sabo noticed the hesitation, it was not outright. Hidden, disguised as if {Name} didn’t want him to know. He loves them too much not to notice how they stiffened; the anxiety that passed through their eyes and contorted their expression into fear for an instant. The nervous stumbling of their words when Sabo pulled away in surprise worried about accidentally hurting them. Given his injuries, his scars that remained Sabo related their reaction to something similar. His body had healed, on the surface. The trauma remained and it took a long time without him having to flinch away, associating touch with treatment of his injuries and the grueling pain he had to live through during his recovery. Or how he hated his scars when they first started to settle, the uneven and rough skin under his fingertips. He learned to accept them, live with them and in time liked them as it was his proof of survival, he was still alive. Sabo likened it to a deep rooted trauma, he didn’t bring it up but his actions became more reserved in nature. 

🎩 Sometimes it can take the smallest thing to fall over the edge, Sabo’s more and rarer playful side came out when he and {Name} were sharing some banter, joking around and the like. Sabo playfully grabbed their wrist in the hopes of pulling them in for a kiss, but what ensued was nothing he expected. {Name} was fine one moment, the next it looked like their world shattered. He let go, panicking and asking what happened, did he grab too hard? {Name} shook their head, dismissing it with a strained smile. The cold sweat didn’t convince him when they showed so much fear. Sabo had noticed it a while ago. He gently broached the topic, not wanting the details but he needed to know. Sabo wanted to know how he could help. How he could protect them and prevent anything that could hurt them. 

🎩Nothing really could have prepared Sabo, for what {Name} entrusted to him. A very bleak and too upsetting for words recollection of the incidents that made them this way. Sabo felt angry, towards the people who hurt his partner, towards himself for not realizing some of his actions could have triggered them. Logically, he knew it wasn’t his fault. He didn’t know of the situation and couldn’t change it. He felt sad seeing how heartbroken and frightened {Name} was. Not only from recalling the vivid and horrific memories but also from their fear that Sabo might perceive or treat them differently, in a bad way. They had been on the terrible side of listening to those who blamed {Name} for what happened in the past. {Name} grew to believe what was said, that it was their fault. 

🎩 Listening to how their words laced their own blame into it. “I shouldn’t have… they wouldn’t have.. I was the one…” Sabo only grew angrier towards the people, the vicious attitude they must have had upon saying those poisonous words to {Name}. Things that led to self doubt and blame. Sabo approached them, carefully enough to see if his touch and comfort would be welcomed. He could only hold them, swallowing his own anger. He pushed it aside, to whisper the words of validation they so desperately needed. Even the simple statement “It wasn’t your fault.” Brought tears to {Name’s} eyes, his voice resonates so deeply, unearthing all of those suppressed feelings that they held back. At this point all Sabo could offer is comfort and security, away from the memories. 

🎩 He tried to take their mind off of it. Trying to calm {Name} down and offer whatever reassurance he could. From the beginning he had been undemanding. {Name} never felt things in the way of obligation, they never felt forced to do anything. Sabo had created a safe space for them truly, one where they learned the hardships of healing but healing nevertheless. He helped and supported with what he could. Giving {Name} space when they needed it, giving them comfort and support when they wanted it. Sabo knew he could not change the past, nor what happened to his partner. But he could try to help them now and in the future. The past may have been full of hurt and terror, he tries, strives to make sure that the future will never be like that. Neither for him, nor {Name}.

I humbly present my Color Museum ep. 2

I found a green unicorn pop it 🦄 and a light purple cube magnet, which I thought was a die at first. And a light purple gumball capsule! Also found a yellow 💛 bead and a blue 💙 bead in seperate locations. The green and orange plastic pieces were found in a parking lot and I'm assumimg were part of a figet toy or something.

I walked by the green and orange plastic bits at first, but turned back for them like 5 secs later, because their colors were perfect for the green/orange group...

Although, I thought a second green/orange vial works too...💚🧡💚🧡

The green unicorn pop it, purple magnet and gumball capsule fit right in with the larger color museum pieces...that purple manget loves the purple hair clip; it kept attaching itself to the clip lol. After I took the photo, I like the manget and clip be togeather, since the manget was so insistant.

The unicorn pop it looks great with the larger color pieces, but I feel like it almost belongs in another collection of mine, my treasure trinkets!

Mostly all found objects. The red frog is from the prize counter at chuck e cheese, but I found the coin on the game area floor. The marble is from a thrift store bag, but I love cats eye marbles, and the ❤💛💙 stripe is my favorite. The Iguana I found while on vacation. It literally feel out of a tree right when we walked by. Guessing someone threw ot up in the tree? Anyways, it came home in my pocket...finders keepers 😎

But also, the green unicorn would fit perfectly with my lucky flare, if I make a little chain for it... I mean, unicorns are good luck and it's green color is, well, perfect!

The blue heart ring could stay with my treasure trinkets, or live with my color museum. I'm still undecided. Speaking of blue..

I was going to start a yellow color group with the yellow bead and add the blue bead to the existing blue group, but they reminded me of another color piece I haven't shown yet...

So now the Dad's Root Beer Cap and the yellow and blue beads have become their own group. And speaking of bottle caps, i remember I have a few metal found objects of color...

I showed the blue soda tab in the last color musem post, but not the rest. I'm not a fan of beer, but the red beer cap is such a beautiful ruby red, I put it in my pocket. Also started a red color group in this little jar...

I also have a pink 💕 color group that I created and a set of tiny glass bottles filled with color items, but I've hit the photo limit. I promise to post a 3rd color museum episode. In the mean time here is a group photo of my Color Museum and Treasure Trinkets.
