So the whole story/concept is centered around Melody—she’s a witch! She’s the only witch in their smallish Maine town, and she has a three-ring binder folder as her spellbook! (she couldn’t buy one so her mom photocopied the pages from the library’s copy) she’s weird and silly and loves her friends and loves being a witch and wants to be the best out there (as you can see i love all the mismatched patterns she wears. she wears those weird 2000s tshirts that were just photos of cats and rainbows)

Then her two best friends…Vika and Jason

Vika is smart and soft-spoken but she is really passionate about what she believes (a bit of an idealist) she definitely becomes more and more outspoken as time goes on. she runs for vice president of the student council!!!! and takes it way more seriously then everyone else running. (other things: her mom is chinese and her dad is russian, she played clarinet with jason and melody for 4 years but then switched to oboe) i have so much cooking for her but i want it to be revealed in the story/SOME OF IT I KNOW HAS TO HAPPEN WAY LATER IN THE PLOT 😭😭😭

then Jason. I’ve decided he’s very emotionally and “normally” intelligent but he’s still developing of course and learning to apply himself. I DONT WANT TO SAY SOMETHING CUZ LIKE THERE’S A PLOT DEVELOPMENT THATS REALLY FUNNY but it reveals that he really tries to be nonchalant and chill but he’s actually really emotional and dramatic and reactive. ALSO LOOK AT HIS PORT WINE STAIN <333333 random other things: his dad is ❤️ like he’s so kind and loves jason so much and jason loves him so much back ❤️ cuz like jason’s mom left when he was a baby so dave (that’s jason dad’s name) is jason’s whole parent and always will be and dave has two other kids that he loves so much but jason will always be his baby ❤️ speaking of his other kids, there’s a bit of a gap between jason and his two other siblings. (like jason’s in 9th grade and they are both in college) the oldest is ethan, who’s going to university of austin for journalism and does theatre (i might switch his major to theatre LMAOO) and the one who’s a little younger than him is penelope (penny for short) who’s studying liberal arts at stanford.

so vika, jason, and melody go to a smallish public school that splits K-9/10-12 so they’re in 9th grade but are still in “junior high” here’s some teachers:

TBH i don’t want to say TOO much because I’m planning on making this an actual comic (i’ve made a couple pages so far!) the vibe is little newspaper-type comic strips (think big nate) but with an overarching plot and some “specials” where the comics are longer and more plot heavy

Story: 5 out of 5 Smut: 5 out of 5

This is my first Harley Laroux book… and I LOVED it! It was interesting to see how the dynamic between Manson, Lucas, Vincent, and Jason worked, and I kind of regret not reading “The Dare” beforehand, but I think this book answers any questions you might have about that night.

I liked that these young men have had a crush on Jessica all these years, and vice versa, and that Jessica is finally letting her guard down and doing what she wants. Because seriously, that revenge scene against Alex, Danielle, Nate and all those other backstabbing jerks… perfection!

The cliffhanger wasn’t too bad, but I’m anxious to know how they’re going to deal with Manson’s violent father being back, and what exactly is going to go down when Jessica doesn’t owe them a debt anymore.

I need to crack open book two asap.

Now enjoy my thoughts throughout the book...

* So the cheerleader made out with the freak. I’m getting Eddie/Chrissy vibes lol

tbh I havn't really been able to nail a voice-claim/hc down for Button. Though I def think he would have a more masculine-sounding voice, but with some sort of quick to it (like being raspy or squeaky) the only thing I know for sure is he needs like, a loser white guy voice.... if that makes literally any sense

also I think they have the vibe of a character whos eng and jp voices are very different but somehow both work equally very well (like calcifur and meowth, both of those have very different directions taken with their voices but both work in the same way somehow??)

ummm some potential candidates are Charlie Day, Jack McBrayer, maybe Jason Ritter? Daniel thrasher has never voice acted but he's def a candidate

for jp something similar to either Nate's pkmn masters jp voice, or like, something very raspy and mascot-character esque

hmm I'm not sure? this isn't really my area of expertise: here's some random ideas tho~

-apple pie flavored waffle? shaped like a star of course

-little button shaped sugar cookies?

-half chocolate half vanilla cupcake? to represent the angel+demon thing, combine it with the sugar cookies maybe? have two of them decorated like his eyes mayhaps?

-apparently there is a way to make drinks glow in the dark but it requires a black light so dead end :(

-mac n cheese, idk how to make it cute but it needs to be involved

-wait! idea: pretzel shaped like a lyra?

15. 🧸: If your OC had any merchandise themed around them, what would it be?

now this one is actually right in my area of expertise I love toy design

for some less simple things:

one of those little craft kits that gives you the supplies to make something simple like a felt plush sewn together with yarn, you could sew a little small star-button billow, and a little kirby plush and the aesthetic is all Button themed. Or maybe a a friendship bracelet craft kit? there's a lot of potential craft kits what with being from patch land

or maybe a merry magoland themed re-ment set that features a little Button working a booth

or you know those little keychain plushies?

hell I've thought a lot about button merch just with what I could feasibly make happen. Button acryllic charms? Button buttons? a Button themed candy bag keychain? those keychains with the little magnet heart accesories? I could do that with Button and characters he's shipable with. standee with tail wag? glow in the dark standee and the stand part is a magic circle? button enamel pins? button ACRYLIC PINS?

25. ⭐️: If your OC got their own spinoff game what would it be about and what would the gameplay be like?

a few ideas!

-epic yarn style! the story line is Button learns about Kirby's Magic sock and decides to visit home~

-game where you sail across the sea!!! Meta Knight wants you to collect a special flower that only grows on this one island, he's too busy with meta knight stuff to get it himself. So he has sent Button on this fetch quest. i guess you could make it into a platformer, but maybe it could be like a minigame collection? that would involve things like puzzle games to figure out navigation. or upkeep/tidying around the boat. maybe there could be 'events', like finding a waddle dee lost at sea and bringing them home. or needing to fix the boats engine

-prequel game of one of Button's journey's during angst-era. platformer but with a lot of puzzle aspects implemented

-if you wanted a more epic quest with co-op modes and all maybe Button caught wind of some powerful magic source and is seeking it in hopes of restoring his Halo, and of course theres a positive message in the end where no Button doesn't get his halo back but he got his Self worth back or smth. (the true halo was the friends we made along the way I guess) would still want puzzle aspects implemented

-game where kirby and co is on vacation but danger strikes and Button, Magolor, Taranza, and Marx has to take the place of Kirby and co.

-unrelated but take a moment to imagine Merry Magoland but with Button around doing his job. Imagine a special animation of them being shocked when the player gets a high score or smth

Glad you asked because this may be by most twisted fic of all 😈 This is where I explore what happens after Jay wakes up from getting shot by Joker, how he expects to be dead but is very much alive for more torture. I previously shared some Joker Jay "banter" (😁) from this fic (first excerpt below the cut) but here's even more for you. Nothing too twisted since I don't want to spoil anything, hehehe

(Note that my Arkhamverse canon follows BAK: Annual, where Joker shot Jay in the head instead of the chest 🙃)

This had to be the worst hangover in the history of hangovers. He felt like a train hit him. Twice. Then dragged him down the tracks with it for miles. Why’d he let Nate talk him into going to that stupid party? Why’d he ever think it was a good idea to take not one but many shots of vodka? Fucking Russians. His eyes fluttered open and he blinked up at the blurry, spinning ceiling. Wait… this wasn’t his bedroom. He blinked again, and heard his eyes moving in his pounding skull. The awful sensation made him want to puke. And what the hell was that ringing?? He tried to reach up and touch the side of his head where the awful pain seemed to be radiating…

No…

A cold fist of horror wrapped around his throat, squeezing the air from his lungs. The ringing clawed at the inside of his skull like nails on a chalkboard. He tugged at his hand again, but it was no use. No no no. Both wrists were cuffed to the metal frame of the hospital bed.

“No,” he whimpered. Blood pounding through his ears as it all came rushing back to him like a tidal wave. He shot me. I was dead. He killed me. “No-no-no-no-no,” he cried as he frantically fought to wrench his wrists from the unrelenting steel of the cuffs. Metal scraped against metal, setting his broken teeth on edge. “No-no-no-no-no!”

He yanked at his hands with all of his remaining strength, trying to force them out of the cuffs. The metal bit into his flesh, peeling it away from his scrawny wrists. The bones in his hand shifted painfully beneath his paper-thin skin, but he barely noticed. He couldn’t care less if they broke again. He can’t stay here. He was supposed to be dead. He was supposed to be done with this place, this nightmare. He was supposed to be burning in hell right now.

“You shot me!”

“And it’s a good thing I missed! A teensy-weensy bit to the left and you’d have a new pair of wings, fighting the good fight with the big man in the sky.”

“Why couldn’t you just let me die? What more do you want from me?”

“Jeez. How many times do I hafta beat it into that thick skull of yours? You’re my partner!”

“You don’t shoot your partner in the fucking head!” Jason let his body fall back onto the gurney.

“You got me there, junior,” Joker giggled. “But you were about to divulge an intimate detail about my dearest friend that I don’t think he would’ve appreciated you sharing. I was only looking out for my pointy-eared pal.”

“Then why did you even ask me, you psycho?”

“I wanted to see where your loyalties lie. And let me tell ya, you made me one proud papa! I think I shed a single tear when I thought you were a goner.”

“Seems like I’m really fucking great at staying alive,” he grumbled.

“That’s the spirit! Even though you fail at every other aspect of your sad little life, you can always count on sticking around for more beatings! Now that’s a quality I can appreciate in my sidekick.”

Ted's personal anecdotes, diffusing situations and awkward questions.i can relate to Ted's fear of dogs. I had a large dog jump up on me when I was a kid. And it was a pretty big dog too. I thought it was going to bite me, it probably wasn't (I hope). But for whatever reason it ran straight at me and jumped on me and scared me. And for years I was scared of dogs. Couldn't be near them. And then we got one. A few years after my mum died, we got a dog. Her name is Bella, she's a chocolate labrador. She is 13 years old now and I love her so much because she taught me not to be scared of dogs. So, yeah, I get what Ted is saying here. Bella helped me get to a better place and we gave her a loving home. I tear up thinking about what she has done for me, and I don't think I could bare thinking about a time when she won't be there.

How's Dani doing? Well, not good. Pretty shit, actually. The man is trying to spiritually cleanse himself. That's not a good sign.

Short Story: House Number Seven

Title: House Number Seven

Wordcount: 707 (Quite a short one)

Someone new has moved onto the street.

House Number Seven

A month ago, someone moved into house number seven. Now, our street is a quiet little place, all fresh cut lawns and white picket fences, where everyone knows everyone. Up until six months ago, the house was occupied by Mr Johansen, but unfortunately the poor man had to go.

His replacement was a strange old man. Dark clothes, a scraggly beard, long hair. Through gossip, we learned his name. Nate Garrot. He was a quiet, strange old man, who kept to himself, and just worked on his garden. We’d see him at all hours of the day, anywhere from dawn till dusk, working away, turning the soil, digging things up with that shovel. He occasionally went away for weekends, but would never tell us where when we asked. Other than that he was always in that garden.

Mary, his neighbour at Number Five, apparently tried to talk to the strange man. She says he looked at her like the devil, and the moment she came within a foot of his begonias, the coot snipped at her.

Needless to say, she wasn’t pleased.

About two weeks ago, the sheriff turned up. Now, he isn’t actually the sheriff, just a local sergeant, but he only lives a street away so he’s always popping around to see us. Well, by then a few of us had spoken to this odd Mr Garrot, so we asked The Sheriff to go talk with him too. Sergeant Fester, for that is his name, came back smelling of whiskey. The Sheriff never did have the best constitution when it came to bribes.

And there he is, Mr Garrot, tilling his garden as always.

Things weren’t like this with Mr Johansen. Now, he was fun, once upon a time, turning up to bake sales and church fates. Maybe a bit too jolly at times, with his drinking. But then young Carly Johansen died. Doctor Wilkes, he’s married to Mary, told him it was an overdose. He wasn’t very joyous after that. More somber, and at one with god.

This Mr Garrot doesn’t seem a god fearing man. He curses, and blasphemes. And then, once in a while, we’ll see him come out and bury something in his garden. He never explains what when we ask.

A week and a half ago, The Sheriff was around again. It was bad news this time. A boy had gone missing. We all said we didn’t know where he was, but we suspected Mr Garrot. Him and that garden.

It was little Jason Tyler who’d disappeared. Lives at Number 12. Always snooping around people’s gardens, and knocking over post boxes. You could imagine him falling into Mr Garrot’s dug holes. His mother’s a tramp too, but at least she stays indoors. Her paramours meanwhile…

The Sheriff began an official investigation. He took Mr Garrot down to the station and asked him all sorts of questions. Meanwhile a few other officers searched his house, his shed, and that hideous greenhouse he has. Then they searched the front garden.

And right enough, there he was. Jason Tyler. Buried just a few feet down, with a trowel jutting out of his neck. Well, Mr Garrot was arrested and set to be locked away.

But a day later, he reappeared. Back on the street. He wasn’t sitting in his garden anymore though. That was still a crime scene.

Mary got talking to him, and he explained what happened. The police questioned him, but he claimed he was innocent. A likely story. But when The Sheriff asked him where he was when the boy died, he revealed he was away that weekend, visiting his son. The trowel wasn’t his either, and he could even produce his own when pressed.

With no further evidence, he was released, pending further investigation. We all still think there’s something wrong with him though. Not our sort, not for our street. And now Mr Garrot keeps looking at us, those devil’s eyes scrutinising. It’s sad really.

Mr Johansen was much the same when he found the nightshade in his daughter’s weed stash. And there she was, thinking we couldn’t smell it on her.

Well, I doubt Mr Garrot will be living here for much longer either.

Script part 2

Jason, Nate , Scott  and Jah were assigned the same cabine for spring break. On the second day of them being in there Jah and Jason  hear a big «  Boom »  coming from Nate side and a couple minutes later Nate walk up  to them   and said : 

Nate : Do any of you guys have duct tape? 

Jah : I don’t think we brought any .Why do you need duct tape ?

Nate : I broke my glasses

( WITH ONE HAND ON HIS MOUTH JASON SAYS)  

Jason : Damn that’s messed up .Do you absolutely need them to see ? 

Nate : Yes I do but I also  wear contacts.

Jason : oh okay 

( Scoot who was done taking shower walk in a room and says )

Scoot : I have some tape but it’s for our blisters if we get any after practice . Do you think it will work ?

Nate  : yes please it will work any tape work for real .

Scott : Let me get it from my bag I got you.

( Nate took a second too look at his hands took a deep breath look back up and said )

Nate : this made me realize that I should’ve brought tape to because now I will have a bunch of open blisters 

Scott :  I will give you some from mine but I believe Coach brought some on the first kit.

( scoot finally find the tape and hand  it to Nate )

Scoot : here it is !

Nate : thanks man you lift saver 

Scoot : Sure !! Get it fixed as fast as you can we meet in 13 minutes

Story: 5 out of 5 Smut: 1000 out of 5 (holy hell, the smut!)

Holy. Hell. Where do I even start?

This duet is possibly the filthiest I’ve ever read and I loved every second of it. All of my questions from book one were answered here in book two, and boy was it a rollercoaster to get those answers.

The love that all five of the main characters have for one another made my heart melt. The drama had me on the edge of my seat and my heart pounding a little too quickly, but it was well worth it.

Friendships were lost (good riddance) and others blossomed. Again, I loved every second of it.

I highly recommend everyone read this book!
