Apocalypse
Disclaimer: I do not own DC, Disney, their characters, or their settings. This is certainly not canon.
Warnings & Topics: Scenes including blood, hallucinations, apocalyptic world, abandonment, insanity. 18+.
Word Count: 894 words
Summary: I guess Batman x fem!reader, angst, lots of angst. Batman is forced to leave his psychotic lover behind in the remains of Arkham after an apocalypse.
Author's Note: Felt like writing something depressing today. If your gut tells you not to read this after the warnings listed, then please skip this one and go read one of my fluffs. I hope you enjoy.
My blue pointe shoes twirl over the field of clover and daisies. My hair flowed out behind me, rippling like a flag in the wind. Spinning like a ballerina over this perfect, dreamy meadow, my heart ached with unending joy. Never before had I ever felt like this… like a princess. Fairy-like.
I paused my pirouettes to watch my lover approach. Closer, ever closer he came, clothed in purest white that complimented my own pale garments. His fingers brushed against my soft cheek, and I leaned into his touch, my eyes fluttering closed.
His fingertips lifted my chin, and my eyes opened to stare into his. “Is this heaven?” I whispered.
He didn’t reply with words, but instead a kiss, his lips covering my own. When I opened my eyes from the show of affection, we were surrounded by a swarm of blue and white butterflies, fluttering around us in a cyclone.
When the delicate insects had vanished, my lover took my hand, pulled me close. He still didn’t speak, but he didn’t have to. His eyes told me everything. He was mine, always, forever.
Batman watched her from a distance. The strands of her torn, broken straightjacket fluttered around her legs like a skirt, her soft feet were bruised and bleeding from the fractured glass she was dancing on. She still had form, she could’ve gone to Broadway if… if only.
He watched her twirl over the debris and ruins of Arkham Asylum, the result of the apocalyptic world they were all trying to survive in. Her eyes were cast upwards, as if she were looking into the eyes of a duet partner. Soft laughter escaped her chapped, cracked lips as she dipped and rose again, ever dancing in a dream.
He felt a hand on his shoulder. “We can’t bring her with us.”
“I know.” Batman turned to Wonder Woman, to the aircraft that would take them far away from the ruins and rubble of Gotham.
Her hand still rested on his shoulder. “She can’t hurt anyone here if the city is deserted. She’ll be alright.”
“She can’t fend for herself out here, she won’t survive,” Batman responded as they both watched the dancer rise in a relevé. “I don’t think she would even try. She’s too far gone.”
“I’m sorry,” was all his friend could say, before she turned to the vessel.
“I know,” was all that he could manage to reply, as he watched his lost lover dance for the last time.
He approached the woman cautiously, knowing the risks he was taking. She slowly stopped spinning as he reached out a hand to touch her skin. It wasn’t peach-soft anymore, her cheeks were covered in the dirt and ash that had buried the other inmates of Arkham. What a chance that she had made it out, that she had been saved. But for what purpose? Batman stared into her empty eyes. Her mind had drifted far away, lost in itself. He swallowed against the lump in his throat as he remembered her. Her eyes didn’t used to be this lifeless. He remembered a woman with dreams, with hope. A woman that he used to know.
Now, this stranger occupied the shell of a body, a body he had used to caress and worship in the fallen hours of the night. Staring into the eyes of this woman he no longer knew, Batman felt a chill run down his spine. She stood before him, still as a statue, his touch only pausing the dream of a world that she danced in.
“I have to leave you here,” he whispered, brushing back strands of her short, dull hair. He remembered when it was long, when it had splayed across his pillows. She didn’t understand, what was the use? He slowly withdrew from the dancer he had once called his lover, pulling back his hands, leaving behind the one he loved.
Avoiding the sympathetic gazes of his teammates, he took his place in the airship, looking back at the woman one last time as the door closed. She had begun to dance again, over a pile of boulders and shattered glass, forgetting his touch that had haunted her just seconds before.
My world had disappeared for only a moment, but now it had come back to me. My green meadows, my swarms of butterflies and honeybees, my paradise! It was mine, and mine forever. I danced over the clover beneath my feet, my prince, Bruce, following close behind.
The soft tulle brushed against my legs as I twirled for him, making sure he noticed me. Horses in the pasture lifted their heads, squirrels stopped their gathering in the woods, a bear paused his berry-picking in a bush to watch me dance. The birds sang a song that I could dance to, a sweet, melodic tune.
I was Snow White, I was Cinderella, I was a Beauty that drew the gaze of all the creatures around me. My prince caught my hand, pulled me to him, his adoring gaze melting me. Oh, I could remain in this heavenly land forever. There was no pain or sadness here, I was numb to anything but tender happiness and gentle touches. The sun never set, the rainbow in the sky never faded, the music never stopped.
I was deaf to the roar of engines in the distance. Nothing mattered anymore. Nothing would ever matter again.

A sequel fanfiction
After watching Justice League: Gods and Monsters, here are my thoughts. Interesting concept and nice storyline 😊 Lackluster beginning in my opinion, they could have removed the Krypton part and had that as a reveal in the middle. The ending was a bit of a letdown. With Bekka/ Wonder Woman gone, the team isn’t much of a league with two members. I don’t know what the creators were thinking if they meant for this to be a series. They should have had some hook or sneak peek of possible character to be added. Regardless, it wasn’t bad. I had watched all three short teasers and liked them.
*Spoilers* On the theme of more characters, my fanfiction “Sea Monsters and Aliens” added two new members to the league: White Martian, Eri’mentha and David Hyde, Black Manta. Since they already had a villain be a hero in this universe (Kirk Langstrom), I added David Hyde as the hero Manta. Eri’menta aka Lady Mars is an original character with a connection to J’onn J’onzz. Bruce Wayne makes an appearance in this as well as the Lantern Corp.
It was fun creating a sequel for the movie because it gave me a chance to play with some Elseworld ideas. What if Aquaman didn’t exist? What if the Waynes didn’t die, what would be the outcome for Bruce Wayne? What if there was another little boy Brainaic from the animated short “Bomb”? Anyway, it has been posted Sea Monsters and Aliens - DarthChocolate - Justice League: Gods and Monsters (2015) [Archive of Our Own] . Take care.

A fanfic idea:
Bruce was able to rescue Jason before he died, and after this experience, Jason stopped being Robin.
He became afterwards the golden child, he goes to college (with a scholarship), helps out in the city library, teaches children (helps with their homeworks and helps them to study), works part time in a car garage in crime alley, and is a supportive brother.
And it pisses his siblings off.
Because there has to be something fishy because no one, really no one, is that perfect.
And there is something fishy.
He is also Red Hood.
No one knows, and the vigilantes never talk to Jason about "the family business" because he needs to concentrate on his studies and other stuff.
So imagine, Batmans suprise when the JL was able to catch Red Hood.
Someone takes Jasons helmet off in front of Batman, Nightwing, and other members
And Jason, who wears also a domino mask, doesn't look Batman in the face even as he says :
"Hey Dad. I can explain."
And Dick loses his shit, he laughs so hard because, Jason, The golden child, the one who gave up on being a vigilante, who reads to children in the library, is a goddamn crimelord.
Bruce just stands there frozen because wtf Jason?!
And Dick takes selfies with Jason being tied up and calles the other Batkids in because they should definitely not be left out of it.
(Edit: As someone who doesn't really write (or can write good stories), I want to say, feel free to use this prompt for a fanfiction. Just please give credits to me (because I don't know if someone else had also this idea and posted it) and please inform me if you publish something (because I want to read a fanfiction like this too))
(Edit: people we got a link, pls leave some love there for @radioactivepigeons, https://archiveofourown.org/works/55499164
And for those who have struggles with the link, the fanfiction is called Prodigal by Carbon65, and you only have access to it with an ao3 account, BUT I pinned the tumblr version)

Little Light Chapter 2
Lucy was furious, but she hid her emotions well. She went over to her suitcase and pulls out her laptop and medical supplies. She presses the power button and goes over to the bathroom while Barry looks around the big room in curiosity.
When she takes off her black tank top she is relived and pissed at the same time. When it is off of her body she can clearly see that it is in tatters and her body is marked with two different types of wounds, flesh wounds and bullet grazes. The grazes she quickly cleans up and bandages, but when it comes time to deal with the flesh wounds she stops. There are two flesh wounds, one in her left arm and one in her left leg. As she inspects and feels them while wincing she finds that the bullets went through clean, without hitting and major arteries. Lucy throws on a random red tank top and calls in Barry.
“Do you know how to sew?”
“Yeah why do you- Oh god you’re bleeding!”
“Yeah. I can see that. Can you help me stitch up my arm?”
“I suddenly feel light headed.”
“That should be my line.” Lucy then grabs some floss and a needle. “All I need you to do is hold my arm steady and hold the wound shut.”
“Is that floss?”
“Yes. It keeps my wounds minty fresh.” She then directs Barry how to hold her arm and the wound, then she begins.
“Doesn’t this hurt?”
“Yeah, but after a while you get used to it.” Barry then looks at Lucy with concern but she just brushes it off as she continues to pull her skin back together. Barry looks very queasy while Lucy look calm, unaffected by what she is doing.
After she stitches up her arm she pushes Barry out of the bathroom and handles her leg a lot quicker and with less interuptions. When she is done she discards her tattered jeans and slips on black sweatpants.
When she leaves the bathroom her computer is started up. She flops onto her bed and types in her password and instead of the normal desktop appearing a database appears. She moves her cursor to the search bar and types in inhanced humans. The moment she hits the search button multiple documents pop up with different sections highlighted. They keep popping up until they fill up the screen and start overlapping each other. Lucy sighs and Barry comes to lay next to her, looking over her shoulder.
“Whatcha doin’” Barry asks as he looks.
“Trying to figure out who is trying to kill us.” As Lucy reads over the documents she pauses. She then goes up to the search bar again and adds to it and hits search again. About half of the results go away and all that remains is relevant information. What remains is info on Superman, a woman named Diana Prince, an “Aquaman”, a boy grew up in Gotham, and the man of the hour, Barry Allen.
“Who is Amanda Waller?” Lucy then pull out her phone and scrolls through her contacts.
“The woman who about to be on the recieving end of an angry phone call.” Lucy then gets up and walks out to the hallway but is stopped by a man with her pizza order, who she quickly gives money to and hands the pizza boxes to Barry as she shuts the door in Barry’s face. She then glares at the delivery boy who quickly scatters out of the hallway. When he is gone she goes through her contacts until she finds Waller’s number, dialing it.
“What do you want Lucy?” Lucy controls her voice as she responds.
“Oh, nothing much, just asking a few questions.”
“Such as?”
“Did you dispatch a team to a hospital to attempt to take in an enhanced named Barry Allen?”
“I am not allowed to say-“
“So, I’m going to assume the answer is yes. Here’s how this is going to work Waller. You are going to observe the target, but if I hear so much as sqeak of a boot I will be all over your ass.” Amanda tries to talk buy gets cut off. “I have the assets, money, and power to take you and your little Suicide Squad project down, so don’t even try me! Lay a hand on Barry and you are as good as dead! Are we clear?” Lucy hears a harsh whisper of an agreement on the other end. “Good. Have a nice day.” Lucy then hangs up and opens the door, just for Barry to come tumbling out with a shocked face.
“So, I’m guessing you heard all of that?” When Barry looks away meekly Lucy sighs. “Let’s talk about this while we eat pizza.” She then reaches down and pulls him up. Then, they walk inside.
Lucy stares at Barry as he starts his second box of pizza. “So...where should I begin?”
“How do you know her?” Barry asks between bites, making her wince slightly.
“I come from a very influential family, having their money in many organizations, with some good and some bad. Waller’s program is what I would call a necessary evil ever since Superman showed himself. When that happened all of the enhanced people showed themselves, and not all of them are good like you, so countermeasures were introduced, such as the Suicide Squad. My father helped them with funds and they help us by sharing info when needed.”
“So you don’t know her directly?”
“Nope. That makes threatening a dangerous woman a little bit easier. Especially when I have you here speedy.”
“What are we going to do now?” At this point he has finished the pizza and stands in front of Lucy.
“I know a place here in Central City so that we can continue to go to school and you can still see your father.”
“Where is it?”
“You’ll see. One of my brothers and I used to crash there when we would travel out here.”
“I thought you grew up in Gotham?” Barry gives Lucy a confused look.
“I visited Central City from time to time when my brothers or my father had business here.” She then paused and realized something. “So, how are we gonna deal with the elephant in the room?”
“What do you think I should do?” Barry asks Lucy, looking at her with the Puppy Eyes, but she stands her ground.
“It doesn’t matter what I think. This is your powers and your life Bar. I’m just here to help you when you decide what to do, but if you need a special suit for running around with your powers let me know. I know a guy.” She then puts her hand on his shoulder and gives him a small smile.
“It seems like you know a lot of people.” Lucy then laughs.
“It sure seems like it, huh.”

After the incident on false Remnant, Superman catches up with Batman, and talks about a decision his friend considered making.
---
I have never watched so much of an episode of RWBY, but I watched Justice League X Rwby: Super Heroes & Huntsmen and found it enjoyable. However, Batman's story felt off, so I decided I needed to explain it away with some Bruce and Clark bonding. Enjoy.

Constantine & the King
First time Constantine meets the Ghost King, he's expecting problems. In his line of work, when all the shadows in the room seem to be pulled toward a point in the room. Creating a dark portal that suddenly glowed a startling green, it's more than concerning.
However, Constantine was thrown off by the young man that stepped out of the portal. Young man could be putting it generously. The kid looked barely legal to drink.
However the kid was holding a scroll that looked thicker than his own head. A crown, ring, and cape that just screamed royalty.
Constantine did not expect the kid to greet with joy and friendliness.
It was the Ghost King. The being that held full control over that aspect of the mythical realms. His name was Danny, and Constantine found the kid's lack of professionalism a nice break.
That scroll? Every contract Constantine ever signed that used his soul as a bargianing chip.
Now, Constantine expected annoyance. If his soul was technically meant to end up in the grasp of thw King, wouldn't the kid be pissed?
After all, Constantine was certain one of those contracts was with the prior Ghost King.
Except, Danny loved it. He was all grins and laughter as he spoke about it. The kid complained about the amount of paperwork, sure. Who wouldn't?
Aside from that, Danny adored Constantine's work. His nonchalantness when it came to signing away his soul.
Danny relished in the chaos he has happening among various other entities. Praised Constantine, and thanked him for the entertainment.
Constantine realized that this Ghost King was a brat. He enjoyed the chaos and the drama as long as it hurt absolutely anyone. This kid was a little shithead.
And Constantine got a confirmation. No matter what, no matter what contracts he signed. His soul was going to end up in Danny's hands.
Constantine didn't mind that. He liked the spirit the kid had. Found a fondness for the King.
A fondness that only grew with every impromptu meeting. Every time the room grew colder, and the shadows moved and warped in the room.
Constantine grew accustomed to it. He looked forward to it.
Then it happened.
Constantine was at the Justice League Watchtower. A simple consultation, nothing too crazy. It was all going to be fine.
Until Constantine felt the shift in the room.
The temperature dropped. The shadows shifted and contorted, and a portal began to form.
Constantine waved off the other heroes concern and defense. Turning towards the forming portal, and prepared to see the kid. The kid who was easily his favorite being in the world at this point.
Except that changed once he saw the familiar being step through the portal.
Maybe step was the wrong word. Danny basically stumbled out of the green portal. Landing harshly on his knees in front of the league.
Constantine wasted no time rushing forward. Pulling the kid close to him, and taking in the sight. Looking for any sign of what was wrong.
Blood and a green substance coated the kid's closed. And Constantine noted the cape was completely missing. The kid was in tears, shaking horrible and in a state of complete hysteria.
All Constantine knew, was that he was going to make them pay.
Whoever brought this normally confident and carefree king to his knees, wasn't going to last much longer.
Those bastards will pay.

Danny walked down his street with both a sense of wonder and dread. Nothing looked like it was supposed to. People were walking around with wierd looking phones in their hands that were all screen and no flip. Where was the number pad? How were they supposed to make calls? Cars looked completely different than what they did just yesterday, and there were many homes and businesses that were new or drastically changed. His own home had looked abandoned, like nobody had lived there for years. Dust and cobwebs covered every surface, and Danny had to put in the security code just to get into the house. Hell, even the lab was locked up. The lab was NEVER locked up. His parents would come and go from it too often to justify locking it. This could only mean one thing.
Somwthing had happened to put the house into Lock Down.
Lock Down mode was a feature the house had never used before, but it was something his parents had repeatedly told them about, especially as the ghost attacks grew more frequent. He input the pass codes and pressed his hand to all the bio-scanners he needed to to get the place running again. The protocol also makes the house attack anyone or anything that tries to enter with extreme violence unless they're a Fenton, so everyone in town knew not to approach the place when it was like this.
He ignored the weird sound of the scanners cleaning his handprints off the machines and the little mechanical arms retreating back into their hatches as he sat down at the family computer and powered it up for what looked like the first time in a century.
Wait.
As it turns out, he was kinda right.
He doesn't remember how it happened, but Danny Fenton has woken up over 200 years in the future.
Numbly, he began looking up the people he knew, Jazz, Tucker and Sam had all lived long, fulfilling lives, doing thier best to keep the search for Danny Fenton alive for decades before finally giving up. Seeing their obituaries was too much for him, and he had to step away for a while. Heck, even Vlad had grown old and passed away.
Which leads to the big question. What had happened? It couldn't have been time travel or else his friends would have been able to go through the Infinite Realms to time travel as well. Between int Infi-map and that stupid booomarang they should have found him by now.
So...what happened?
The good news is that there was now an entire league of superheros who might be able to help him. They even have an emergency and non emergency call number!

Summonings and Grave Misunderstandings
The Justice League summons Ghost King Danny Phantom to help save the Earth. They are tired, they have numerous allies unconscious or unable to fight they are willing to do anything.
Danny was having some trouble, the entertainment he had for Danielle's birthday party just cancelled because they had a family situation. He didn't blame them for cancelling but now he had to stop a civil war from starting in one of his territories and look for new entertainment and have their backgrounds checked. Thankfully he had two weeks to do it. That was when he felt someone summoning him.
Zatanna knew she was a beautiful woman and she knew any man or woman would love to have her. So it wasn't surprising when the Ghost King asked for her as entertainment for a day after he saved the earth and had his people's doctors heal everyone. He just showed how powerful he was and a portion of his people's technological advancement and power. She couldn't even look into her teammates eyes when she accepted. She knew they would do anything to get her out of this situation but it was her dignity or the lives of the people she loves and that was a no brainer. Sadly, after steeling herself to go with the King then and there he had told her he would send for her in two weeks.
Danny has one problem down now and he swears Clockwork was behind this because it was too coincidental but he's not complaining. He now has entertainment for his little sister's birthday party and the one, entertaining the guest was a superhero magician famous for protecting the innocent and performing magic on stage. Maybe his Fenton luck is turning around.
Two weeks passed and Zatanna, the Justice League and JLD couldn't find anything to break the deal. So, when a portal opened the Fright Knight walked out to greet her, she couldn't even look at her friends as she walked towards the portal. When she came out the other side she noticed ghosts scrambling around putting up what looked like birthday decorations.
I see this ending in one of two ways.
1. Zatanna tells Danny what she and the League thought she was going to do. Danny apologises and tells Zatanna that he can pay her to entertain the party and that the Justice League can come if was comfortable with that.
2. She doesn't bring up the misunderstanding and does the show. It goes so well that Danny pays her a huge amount, that has Zatanna grinning ear to ear and a promise to hire her again. She returns to the League smiling and tells them how much she enjoyed entertaining everyone over there and that she can't wait for Danny to call her again, not noticing their shocked expression.

Danny can't recall many fond memories of his childhood, but ones he did remember often included their summer trips to his Aunt Alicia's in the countryside where he and Jazz would play in the woods just outside the Kent family's farm. The Kent's were a wonderful family who took his parents' ghost talks in stride, and they were always kind to him and Jazz. Danny loved when Clark and his wife Lois were in town while they visited. They always had really cool stories on account of them being journalists. And if Danny seemed to notice that Clark tended to treat everything like it was glass, or that he seemed to hear things way better than he should... well, Danny wasn't going to say anything about it.
It was about a year after Danny's accident that the Fenton family made a trip back out to Alicia's. Clark happened to be in town; he heard the Fentons were coming. He'd heard shouting coming from Alicia's, but had initially thought nothing of it. The Fentons were a loud family, always getting into some sort of trouble. Then he heard the sound of their weapons firing; a little weirder, but still normal for Jack and Maddie. And then he heard a cry for help... that's when he found Danny stumbling through their fields, covered in dirt and blood and green, glowing goop. He had a gash in his side that he gripped at in pain, and his eyes burned a toxic green in his determination to get to the farmhouse. He clung to Clark as soon as he was close enough.
"Please help me," he whimpered through ground teeth. "My parents are hunting me, please you have to help me!" Probably a meta, he thought, angry that Jack and Maddie could do something like this to their own son, meta or not. With gentle hands, Clark lifted the child he'd known since he was a baby and got him to the safest place he could think of for medical attention. It was time to smuggle a child into the Batcave.
OR
Clark has known Danny his whole life, and when an identity reveal goes sideways in the countryside, Batman helps Clark adopt Danny.

DC x DP prompt
How was Danny supposed to know he shouldn’t be flying around in the void of space while listening to music on his headphones. Wasn’t like he was expecting anything to be there. Unfortunately there was something there. Now he just needs to explain himself to the Justice League as to why he crashed into their window.

Danny Phantom, Justice League, Batman, and Constantine: The Hellblazer Fanfiction Crossover
Vertical Limit by hppjmxrgosg
Danny Fenton is not okay. TM.
Honestly? Just overall bad vibes.
But he's doing his best. Making it work. And trying not to become fully dead in the process.
The Justice League is very concerned. But it's actually their fault they got involved so take that one, Batman.
John Constantine told them not to do the thing. They did it anyway.
Or, Danny gets summoned by the League, and he actually kind of adopts them in the process. Because these big city heroes don't know anything about ghosts and who is he if he doesn't help them out? Besides, the Watchtower is in space. Danny's always wanted to go to space...

Milk with cookies and bedtime stories [Batmom x Damian Wayne]
Synopsis: It was just a few months ago that Damian was included in the Wayne family. He still didn’t like you, but you tried so hard to make him appreciate you. During a patrol, Damian got hurt and after Alfred took care of the little boy’s wounds, you surprised him with a plate of cookies and a glass of milk.
Characters: Damian Wayne and Reader [YOU]
A/N: I wrote this quickly. Hope you like. In this imagine, Batmom has been married to Bruce since he adopted Dick.
I want to apologize if there are any writing errors. I'm a Brazilian girl and I don't speak fluent English, so I may make some writing mistakes. Feel free to correct me.
I hope you read, like and feel how cute Damian is.
Requests are open
MASTERLIST
Tumblr media
You were sitting on the kitchen stool, reading a fashion magazine while you waited for your husband to return from patrol.
Bruce forbade you to stay in the Batcave, as he was afraid that someone would break in and find you, alone and unprotected.
As soon as you felt the ground shake, it meant that the Batcave had opened and that Batman had arrived with his Robin, Red Robin, Red Hood and Nightwing.
You ran to the clock that gave access to the secret entrance to Batcave. The elevator quickly took you to where your children and husband were.
“Hey, my love. You got back before 5am!” You said, running up to Bruce Wayne. He still wore black clothes and was without a mask. Your husband didn’t respond. He was serious and had a worried expression on his face.
“A man dropped Damian from a three-story building .” Bruce said looking at the boy who was sitting next to Alfred.
You finally noticed Damian, whose face was bruised and his leg was bandaged. You walked over to the boy and knelt in front of him.
“I’m fine, Y/N. I fell on top of a car and didn’t break any bones.”
“Damian, darling, are you hurt?” You asked, looking into Bruce’s son’s green eyes.
You smiled, in a motherly way. Damian didn’t consider you a mother, unlike the other three boys who called you ‘mother’ and ‘mommy’ all the time. Your husband’s son only considered you as a stepmother, but that didn’t stop you from taking care of him as if he were your son.
“I’m going to run you a hot bubble bath. After Alfred takes care of you, I think you’ll want to relax in the warm water.”
“Thank you, Y/N, but I’m not your baby.” He said rolling his eyes and turning his face to look at Alfred.
“Damian!” Bruce warned his son. But you smiled at your husband, showing that everything was okay. You left the Batcave, heading back to the mansion to prepare Dami’s bath.
(…)
Damian was already in his room. You were heading to the boy's room, with a tray in your hand.
The clock said 2:32 am, but you were sure the boy hadn't slept yet. The Waynes used to sleep only when the sun came up.
Yout left hand knocked lightly on the wooden door with the boy's initials engraved on it. Ypur ears picked up a “you can come in”, authorizing you to enter Damian’s room.
“I came to see if you were okay, Dami.” You said, entering and closing the door behind your body. Your arms came off the tray on the bed, seeing that the boy was sitting on the mattress. “I brought milk and cookies, this will definitely make you feel better.”
“Why do you do these things, Y/N?” He asked, with a questioning look.
“I didn't understand. Don't you like what I do for you?”
“At first I thought you had a plan to win me over and then you would hate me for being Bruce's biological son.” He said, seeing you take a cookie and offer it to him.
“I would never do that. I love you, Dami, even if you don't like me. These things I do for you are normal motherly actions.”
“My mother didn’t do any of that. She only got cookies when she did something good.” He said, his eyes shining like he was going to cry.
“Oh baby. I know you don't consider me your mother and I don't want to force you into anything, but I want you to know that these things I do are because I love you.” You explained, smiling widely at him and drinking some milk. “Do you know what my mother did for me when I was hurt?”
“No.” He said, while devouring several cookies. “She also gave you cookies and milk?”
“Yes, and she also told me a bedtime story.” You argued, running your hand through the boy's hair. “I'll tell you a story.”
“I’m not four years old, Y/N” He murmured.
“Damian, you’re not old enough to hear a good story before bed.”
“OK. Just don't tell stories about princesses or ponies.”
“Clear. I'm going to tell the story of a boy called Dami. He was so brave and beautiful, he was a strong and fearless boy.” His lips formed a smile as he said the words. Damian's eyes were bright and sweet. “One day, he went to the forest to play with the birds and found a portal to a magical world.”
“Like Narnia?: He asked, completely interested in your story.
“Yes, but without the closet. The magical portal led to a kingdom full of witches, fairies, vampires and any magical creature you can imagine.”
“Even elves?” He questioned you again. Now Damian was lying in bed and you covered him with the blanket.
“Of course, elves can't be missed.” You said. Your heart filled with love and you almost cried when you saw the image of the boy who hated you six months ago totally interested in a bedtime story. “In that kingdom there was a crystal that served as oxygen for all beings there, but a terrible villain broke this crystal and stole its essence, leaving the world without magic.” Damian still had complete fun with your narration. “Then, the queen called Martha went and asked the brave Dami to hunt down the villain and recover the essence of the crystal.”
“And he did this?”
“Yes! Dami took a sword and shield and went out to the magical kingdom in search of the villain. He went to an ancient village in the kingdom called Gothym and met three knights named Grayson, Todd and Drake. They sent Dami to the mountains where he would find the villain.”
“And he found it?”
“He found it, but it was difficult. The villain was hiding in a ruined castle north of Gothym. Dami fought bravely with the villain and defeated him. Dami recovered the essentials of the crystal and in exchange, Queen Martha gave him a personal portal to return to the kingdom as often as he wanted. Dami was a brave hero and defeated the evil villain.” You told the story while running your hand affectionately through the boy's hair. “Did you like the story?”
“Yes, it was the best story anyone told me.”
“I'm glad you liked it, my love. If you want, I can tell you a story every night.”
“Todd would make fun of me if he knew.” He said, looking at you so intently that you knew he was embarrassed for having liked the story.
“I'm gonna tell you a secret. I told Dick, Jason and Tim stories for three years, but they didn't want to.”
“Did you tell Todd bedtime stories?” He asked loudly, as if it were some blasphemy.
“Of course, and he loved them all.”
“So I want to hear stories before bed.”
“I'll love telling you, along with a glass of milk and cookies. Good evening, Dami.” You said getting up from the bed. Your lips found the boy's forehead.
“Good night, mom.” He said, making you look surprised at him. “I can call you mom? Since Dick, Jason, and Tim call you Mom, I thought you might as well.”
“Of course, my dear. You can call me mother and I will call you my son.” Your arms wrapped around the body of the boy, your son. Love seemed to explode in your heart. “Good evening, my dear son.”
“Good nigh, mom.”
You gave Damian one last kiss on his forehead, before picking up the tray and taking it to the kitchen. After washing the dishes, you went to the master suite, the room shared between you and Bruce.
Your husband was lying on the king size bed, waiting for you. After showering and putting on your pajama, you laid down on the bed.
“Damian called me mom.” You said to Bruce, earning a smile from him.
“With bedtime stories, milk and cookies.”
“How did this happen?” He asked, setting aside the iPad he was using to hug you.

I can totally see Batman slipping into "Brucie, playboy billionaire and philanthropist" in order to escape from captivity or something.
Being locked up with members of the Justice League would make it even more hilarious, especially if they don't know his civilian identity yet. Imagine this:
The League was recently captures by some aliens for god knows what purposes. They were trying to come up with a decent plan, but it was taking too long and Batman had a charity gala or a parent-teacher conference to get to, so he couldn't afford the time to conduct an escape plan. After a moment of consideration, he pulled off his cowl (causing the other members to freeze/choke/trip over in shock from this random af identity reveal like wtfthatsbrucewayne-) and called the two guards standing by the cell over.
Batman - THE Bruce Wayne holy shit - proceeded to shamelessly flirt with said guards, running his hand down one's chest and whispering into the other's ear. Apparently, they found the earthling really attractive and ended up turning to putty in his hands after a few moments. During the whole ordeal, Batman managed to snatch the oddly shaped keys off of one of the guards and slid it in his glove, efficiently hiding it.
He then proceeded to knock them both out, pull his cowl back on and open the chamber.
"Let's go."
"WAIT- hold up. You just- he just- I- I need a moment to process this."
"Not now. We need to get off this ship. I will handle the control room, Flash, you will ---"
(...)
Later Batman is going to suffer through an interrogation consisting of unnecessary screaming, stupid questions, and longing stares.

New idea for a Danny Phantom DC crossover fic!
Danny always knew that he was adopted. His parent's had always been open with this fact and always made sure he knew they loved him just as much as Jazz. What they failed to mention was that they found him in a crashed spaceship while camping!
"You were so small and scared," his mom told him with a sigh, "We couldn't understand anything you were saying, the only thing we understood was your name."
"Sooooo you're saying Daniel is my alien name?" Danny asked in complete disbelief.
"Yep! But you said it kinda weird for a while," his dad chuckled like this whole situation was completely normal, which admittedly calmed Danny's nerves a bit. "You would point to yourself and say Dan El! Dan El! Gosh, it was adorable."
Danny felt his face heat up. His dad ruffled his hair and laughed, "I miss those days, now my kids are both moody teenagers! I'm starting to feel old!"
Danny found himself laughing lightly. Honestly, this whole thing would be pretty cool if he wasn't still freaking out. He was an alien. A freakin alien. As if being half ghost wasn't strange enough!
Danny could only pray that his life wasn't about to get even more complicated.
900 miles away Clark Kent sat at his desk at the daily planet.
As he typed about local long-lost sisters reuniting after years apart, he couldn't help the depressed, bitter feeling swirling around his stomach. Growing up Clark had always wanted a sibling, someone to play with and help him with chores on the farm. Someone who understood him.
So you can imagine his shock and delight when he learned he actually had a sibling! An older brother!
They were sent to earth in separate ships but should have landed at around the same time!
Clark did what anyone would do and searched for his brother. Then he started college but would still look. Then he got a job but would still look. Then he became a superhero, he didn't have much time to look. Then he joined the Justice League... he didn't look much anymore, and when he did he wasn't hopeful.
Clark was just about done with the article when a beep let him know someone from the league was trying to get ahold of him.
He quickly left his desk and headed for the hallway. Pressing the button on his earpiece, Clark couldn't even get a word out before a familiar brooding voice echoed in his ear.
"I looked."
Clark felt a chill go down his spine, "Did you find anything?" he demanded, sounding more like Superman.
There was a pause.
"You're gonna want to see this."
Clockwork watched as all the pieces finally fell into place. He waved his staff and saw the event that started it all play across his screen. Two Kryptonian ships heading to earth when a portal opens up, a portal Clockwork himself created, and swallows one of the ships.
The portal opens up again over a decade later, spitting out the same ship.
"Yes, everything is how it should be."
