this person is obsessed w you, like they are in LOVE love. & i dont mean in like a creepy "they are never going to leave you alone" type of obsessed, more like you are their favorite person ever and they love hanging out w you all the time. some drake lyrics were coming thru while doing this reading: "everybody has an addiction, mine happens to be you." i feel like very rarely will this person ever not get excited to just be in your presence during your whole marriage. like i can still picture them looking at you the same way they did on your wedding day even when you're both old n grey. they also happen to be a huge romantic so it makes a lot of sense. whenever they have good news they rush to tell you bc they want you to be the first person to share their happiness with. they're overall very sweet, i don't see them being the jealous type - i think they trust you enough to be scared of you going off with some other person. and you'll never even think about anyone else when you're with them because they treat you so well.

this person's love language is deff physical touch and it'll show when you're around them. they love hugging you and being intimate and doing all that sort of stuff. they honestly do not care where you both are because nothing is going to stop them from giving you forehead kisses or hugs. they love the way that you smell, it reminds them of walks in nature and pieces from their childhood. they love teasing you as well, they're very affectionate w you. they're incredibly supportive and also humble. i see you both being on a ton of trips, particularly road trips, but normal traveling is also coming through. i feel this person may not be as outspoken ab how much they love you, like they won't outright say "i think you're the most beautiful person i know" to you but don't worry bc they definitely think that you are. they have a very unique way of showing their love and i feel that you are someone who tends to pay more attention to details than others which makes you perfect for this person because while others may overlook or misinterpret them, you see them for who they are.

this person is super fun to be around, like they have the best energy ever. & i dont mean in a "they're always the life of the party" way, more like they make even the smallest moments feel special. i feel like whenever you're having a bad day, this person knows exactly how to cheer you up without even trying. they're the kind of person who surprises you with little thingamabobs and trinkets all the time just to see you smile. like they'll randomly bring you food that you like without you even asking them. they also happen to have a great sense of humor (that's kind of subtle but you like it) so you'll always be laughing a lot together. they’re overall very supportive of you, i don’t see them being the type to criticize your dreams. you'll always feel appreciated bc they will never take you for granted. though his laid-back and relaxed personality are behaviors you see often, you know your future spouse better than anyone. they're very inspiring and honestly i feel like you both will work on a project together bc you share similar dreams (i'm seeing some sort of art form, probably like writing or smth along those lines)

Recently read @queenofthequillandink ’s DPxDC crossover fic Unearthed, Reborn

I got inspired to draw character sheets for Danny, Sam, Jason, and Jazz’s vigilante personas. Here’s a link to the author’s drawings of their outfits (these were a vital reference for me when doing this so thank you so much for sharing them Quill) More commentary (like 7+ paragraphs plus 2 images) about this project and the designs below the “keep reading” line.

None of these thoughts I have for each character are in order, but I have a lot of commentary for these since this project was a lot more conceptual than my normal work. I also just like talking about my art/design process. If you ever find yourself wondering at some point why an element from the original design wasn’t included, the answer is that the removal was completely intentional and part of my grandmaster vision for this work and wasn’t because I just forgot about it entirely during the design process.

Aconite (Sam)

This was the first one I sketched out, I wasn’t even sure at the time if I was going to fully commit to drawing all of them. I thought that Sam was gonna be the hardest since her description was way longer than the others, but then bird boy beat her out. I took a lot of creative liberties with her design, the bag was added bc I couldn’t figure out how to add pockets to the skirt. I was trying to avoid a joker color scheme so I had a lot of ref images that I got by searching like “purple green aesthetic” on Pinterest. The dark purple and dark forest/blueish green won out in the end. I desaturated a lot of my colors for her just to get as far away from the neon Gotham rogue aesthetic. I also added the bdsm harness over the armor to add more punk elements to her design, I know that in real life that would be very uncomfortable to wear over scalemail armor but sometimes we take creative liberties when they look sick as fuck. Also, I didn’t realize until I went to look for a reference for aconite flowers that aconite is wolfsbane! That was neat to learn! Also, the font I used for Aconite is called “zai Art School Calendar 1931”, I’ve used this a few times for other projects, it’s one of my favorite fonts. The ‘zai’ fonts the creator has are all very good.

Shade (Danny)

There wasn't much to add to this page. His outfit is pretty simple (besides the patterning). I wasn’t sure how to pull of an optical illusion pattern but I was reminded how I sometimes get an eyestrain induced headache when looking at someone wearing a patterned shirt with really thin stripes so I just leaned into the idea of a small/detailed hard lined pattern. I originally made 5 separate patterns for him and then turned them into stamp brushes in procreate. I only ended up using three of them, the one on the chest, the one on the legs, and the one on his hand. But, I imagine the patterns fade and shift when he moves, sort of like a lenticular print. I gave him constellation freckles and stylized the hair’s fade into white. The hair was inspired by how time-woods draws Martin Blackwood’s hair (linked: time-woods’s fanart of Martin Blackwood). Also put way too much effort into the teeth on the mask. I just like the chunky teeth design. Oh yeah and the font I used for him is called “Typewriter_Condensed_Demi”

Erinys (Jason)

Repeatedly ran into the issue of not having enough canvas space bc of my fervent need to thoroughly document and plan out how the wings worked. I also reversed the colors for the bodysuit & armor so the under layer was black while the armor plates were red. I only realized afterwards that I may have been inspired by the red centipedes in Rain World (linked: gif of the red centipede, don’t click the link if you’re unsettled/afraid of bugs/insects), artists subconsciously draw inspiration from other artists all the time though so I’m not like upset about it. I stand by it because it looks sick as hell. Also leaned into the magpie theming for the wings. I think the vigilante form was supposed to be reverse magpie coloring? I can’t remember, but I stuck with normal magpie coloring. The anatomy of how the wings connected to the collarbone was inspired by JayEaton’s Magpie Bridge Project. Reference image link. Link to the article the image is from. I didn’t draw the wing armor because I couldn’t figure out how to would work with the wing anatomy and I ran out of canvas space. Finally, the font used for him is “DIN Condensed” this is a default font, I would’ve used something more punk but I needed the text to be legible.

Insight (Jazz)

I did Jazz after I’d already finished the initial trio, so I had to switch to a new canvas for her bc I’d hit the layer limit multiple times on the previous one. I really do love doing that spiked under-eyelash thing with characters. Don’t know when that started. Anyway, I added the shoulder pads to her outfit to help break up the empty space. The golden eyes were a nice accent color since her design is very overwhelmingly green. Honestly the braid hairstyle and gold eyes really do obscure her identity, multiple times when drawing her I was worried that she didn’t really resemble Jazz enough. There wasn’t a drawing from the author for her so I only had the text description to go off of. I just realized that she sort of reminds me of a forest ranger and I don’t know what to do with that realization. I copy/pasted my drawing of her eyes when gold and recolored them to match her normal eye color. There were two layers for that, a hue shift and a hard light layer to emphasize the shadows.

Here’s what it looks like without the hue shift: 

It looks really cool and I’m 100% that color combo in another drawing down the line. Oh yeah and the font used for this sheet was “Euphemia UCAS”. It comes with Apple’s operating system, I use it as a neutral default text most of the time bc it’s nicer than helvetica but not overly fancy like Times New Roman—and why am I talking about fonts. ——————————————————————— Anyway, this project was very fun to work on. The alt text for this was its own endeavor, hope the folks using screen-readers don’t mind 4-5 paragraphs of description text. Also, I cannot remember for the life of me if Dani got a costume description, but if she does I’ll make sure to update this image set with a sheet for her. And to the author, QueenOfTheQuill, if you’re reading this message that I’ve left at the very bottom of this post below a read more line, thank you for the fic. It’s very good and I’m glad I caught it during my slow decent into DPxDC brainrot. I love the interactions between Jason and Tim, it’s nice seeing a revived Jason that’s not bogged down by pit rage. They definitely seem like they could’ve been good friends if not for the unfortunate circumstances that led them to meet in canon. Also, I’m sure Jazz will love interacting with Batman and Nightwing. So much psychological & childhood trauma to unpack with them. Feel free to use/share these images if you so desire and thanks again for your work.

he is nigh a few summers your senior but still further progressed enough that they hardly allow you to play.

tragedy strikes on your year of three and ten, taking your mother and father, which leads you and your older brother, who is six and 10, to being sent to the countryside to stay until of age, until you are able to care for yourself.

it takes seven full summers for the two of you to make way back to the ton— on the eighth year, in the spring, you return— you make your debut with your brother heading the attempt to find a lawful man for you to wed.

that very same spring, you see Mr. Bridgerton again.. but he is different, as are you.

gone is the girl and in her place is a woman.

you are still bright-eyed, despite the tragedy— still quick witted and kind. but you are also different, ethereal— Benedict never realized how your smile lifts your cheeks, never realized how your brow furrows when you speak— Benedict sees you for the first time in years and it feels like he has really, finally seen you.

and he— he is a man now. taller than you remember, more filled out— stout. with strong hands and forearms you linger on longer than you should— something that proves the artist he is. but he is unchanged in mischief, in the way his eyes crinkle when he laughs, in the way he tries to include you in conversation.

it is in the spring, the spring you return, when you realize— you love Benedict Bridgerton.

despite your realization, you note that Mr. Bridgerton will never see you as anything but his best friend’s younger sister. you are put out, saddened by it. but it does not stop you. you cannot, will not be your brother’s burden any longer.

it is then your discrete conversation, your inside jokes, and your admiration of Benedict’s art stops. you cannot be so close to a man if you expect to find a good husband, one that will care for you and make sure you are happy.

Benedict, Ben, will never love you and you are fine with that or at least you can pretend.

it does not take long for you to find a prospect, Lord Rothschild. he is kind to you— he listens when you speak, he does not treat you like you are lesser. you are content to marry him, happy even.

but it still feels like it is not enough.

his gaze does not burn through you— does not make you alive— it does not make you feel.

but you are fine— you convince yourself. you could be happy. you could learn to love him.

your engagement seems set in stone.

Lord Rothschild has asked your brother for your hand and you agree. your smile does not pull your cheeks in the way Benedict can make it— but the way your lips turn up when he tells you, it is enough for your brother to be content.

Benedict, Ben, he calls on you that very night— the very day your brother speaks with Lord Rothschild and there is something about him that seems urgent, terrified.

you speak to him quietly, your maid a shadow behind you, your gown sways in the light spring breeze, “what are you doing here?”

he pauses, hesitating in his answer, “I-I do not know, I do not know.”

you step closer, peering like someone might see you, “we cannot be seen— I am to be married— you cannot be here, Ben.”

he seems awed, struck in the same way he normally is by you, “i cannot tell you.. but i can show you.” you are rightfully confused but nod hesitantly, “alright, Ben. alright.”

“meet me at Bridgerton house in the early morn.”

you agree without question, hastily turning, nightgown ruffling with the movement, motioning your maid towards the door, “Bridgerton house. i will be there.”

you hold true and you come to Bridgerton house in the morn— but you do not end up staying there.

in a carriage surrounded by nothing but a stifling silence, you allow Ben to take you into town. your nerves are pooling in your stomach, making you feel ill— but something in his gaze makes you hold out.

when the carriage comes to a stop, Benedict leads you in a direction you are familiar with, and suddenly, he seems nervous to be standing in front of this building— you have seen it before and it does not help with your confusion.

it is his studio— a place you have spent far too much of your time in, wasting moments, talking about your favorite art piece of his, something abstract, something you do not understand but are happy to look at because he touched it.

“Ben.. what are we doing here?”

he swallows thickly, a nervous habit you have picked up on, “you will see.”

it does not quell your nerves.

the inside is different than what you have seen before. gone are the abstract arts and in their place is portraits— so many portraits.

you take a turn around, admiring the ones that are full of color, life. you admire the ones drawn hastily with dark lines and desperation. they are all beautifully done. you are awed by his talent, awed by how well done and intricate they seem.

it strikes you suddenly, quickly as you stare into one— those are all your eyes, your nose, your cheeks.

“Ben,” you pause, attempting to find the words, “are— are these all of me?”

you turn, looking at him with a look he has never seen before. Benedict swallows heavily, voice hesitant when he speaks, “yes, they are all of you.”

you turn back, a new admiration in your gaze, “you have painted me?”

you do not turn back when he speaks, “you are so beautiful, it is hard not to.”

you pause again on the one that seems desperate, the line of your brow drawn crudely, like he feared forgetting, “why me?”

there is a quiver in his voice, “even when i am unable to draw— to paint— i can still imagine you. i imagine you in perfect detail, every time. sometimes it’s only you, only you, i don’t even realize i am doing it— not until you, you with that enchanting smile, are looking back at me.”

your chest tightens, “Ben— please— please, explain what this means.”

there is a waver in your voice this time— echoing the same as his.

he answers steadily, a newfound confidence in his tone. Benedict moves, admiring his own art, “i have seen you millions of ways— millions of emotions,” with his next phrasing, he motions to a different art, art made by his hands, “contempt, sadness, anger, happiness..” his voice trails, “i have seen a million emotions in your face,” his lip quivers when he finally turns to face you, deep eyes turning tender, “and i have loved each of them.”

you shudder, emotion overtaking you, but you do not respond to him, instead allowing him to continue to speak, “i have loved each of them and i will continue to love them— each emotion, every passion— i will never, never finish loving them, loving you.”

you can hear nothing but your heartbeat— nothing but the sound of your ribcage rattling, “you— Ben— i cannot… i cannot do this. Lord Rothschild has asked for my hand. i am meant to be wed.. he will propose soon.”

you are rambling, almost trying to deny him— deny what you feel.

Benedict hardens but does not attempt to move closer to you, “you say you are to wed him,” he pauses, turning desperate, “but do you look at him the way you are looking at me?”

you do not recognize that you are looking at him any other way than normal, not until he quivers under your gaze, “stop. do not continue to look at me that way,” his voice drips with hardly there restraint, “do not— or i will ruin you.”

you break under his equal watch, hands going up in desperation, before landing equally at your side, “you, Benedict Bridgerton, have already ruined me. i cannot marry that man,” you cannot stop the absolute noise of desperation that falls from your lips, “i cannot marry that man— and it is because of you!”

he seems aghast at your words, “me? me!” he swaggers closer to you, some part of him sure that this is what you want and you answer by stepping in to his frame, confirming it is, “yes! you! you and your artworks, you and the way you are leering at me— you and just you, Benedict— you have ruined me. i have nothing left for anyone else,” you quiver, but do not deny yourself the satisfaction of finally admitting it, “i love you— i love you.”

it feels like a prayer— like a secret, like something you should not have shared. it is too late to retract— Benedict closes in on you, lips pressing against yours with an anguish you can taste.

it takes a moment of his lips pressing against yours before Benedict is pulling away, hands raising above his head, dark hair shaking with the move of his head, “tell me to stop— tell me to back away, please, please.”

you cannot— you will not. you refuse to deny yourself any longer, “no— Ben, Benedict— no.” when he turns away, you follow, making sure he can see you, see the emotion in your face, “you cannot do this— you cannot show me this and expect us to go back to normal.”

he finds himself unable to turn away from you, instead, he cradles you, hands cupping at the sides of your face in a way you can only describe as tender, and he whispers— he whispers in something you can only describe as salvation, “i love you.”

you answer in a kiss, one that makes him back you into a table, one that makes him lift you high, seating you on a table in the very place he paints— he paints you. his hands grip desperately at your skirts— he is temping you, nothing but sin reeking from every pore, “i love you.”

you squeal a noise unknown to you when he disappears under the fabrics, mouthing at the most sensitive parts of you like they are his supper, “wait! wait! what are you—“ you are cut off by a noise so depraved you do not recognize yourself, “oh! oh!”

you gather your own skirts in your hands, trying to take away burden from him but also trying to find something to grab— something to hold. you need it— need to focus on something other than his quick tongue— you need something to ground yourself against the onslaught of his mouth against the place only husbands are supposed to touch.

“Benedict,” you sound hazy, a feeling in your gut pooling in the way you have only felt your own touch make you, “something is happening!”

he hums against you, against your tender most spot, signaling he knows— he knows and it is supposed to feel like this, that it is supposed to happen this way.

you release your skirts, opting to instead grab at the dark hair on his head, pressing him against the part of you that feels the most— the part that tingles from the base of your spine to the tips of your toes, “oh! Ben! oh!”

you do not need to elaborate, he can tell— he knows, knows you are crumbling from his touch.

he pulls away from you, only when your noises turn in to almost discomfort.

he appears from under your skirts, grin happy and face wet. he watches you for only a moment.

Benedict watches the way your brow eases, worries quelled, watches the way your mouth opens in gasps— from him, because of him.

you heave for air, gasping and heaving and he pauses, taking in the way your face changes with each breath.

“i think i will paint you like this next,” you peer at him, him still lingering between your spread legs, his pretty face framed by the silky fabric of your dress, “but only if you will agree to be my wife.”

They’re really interesting foils in many ways. I’ve always thought that Marcille & Mithrun have underrated dynamic potential. Give me the cringefail dungeon lords. Give me the elves with ears-centric metaphorical self-image issues. Give me the academic elites whose deepest strongest desires will always remain unreachable and the only option is to turn to the corrupt forbidden fruit of a demon pact. I am so so normal about Mithrun and Marcille

I wonder if the resemblance between captain Mithrun and general Hagreus aka Marcille’s fave in Dalclan is intentional… They definitely look very alike. It could represent idealization vs reality? Something something the romanticization of elves and their societal drama in their fiction vs a very real and imperfect product of their military system. The canaries certainly aren’t glamorous next to whatever Hagreus is the general of. I feel like she never had the opportunity to notice the resemblance herself bc within seconds of meeting him he was wrestling her on the ground but. If she had… She would so think he should have been his actor in the tallman stage play of Daltian Clan in that new extra comic hehe. I love the little details like Hagreus’ lips being drawn with extra details because they’re full and pretty while Mithrun’s lips are drawn with extra details because they’re chapped lmao.

This art is all silly and surface level but in my head mithrille is like so dramatic and I make up daltian clan level big plots with them gbdgd. I made a spotify playlist for mithrun if y’all interested, rn it’s mostly centered around cravings that consume and losing yourself and illusions inspired from his time as dungeon lord but it’s branching out. Varied vibes, levels of intensity and degrees of confusion and await you ✨ I would emotionally rant about Chainsaw Man ost lyrics and how they tie in with Mithrun and the winged lion’s relationship but this post is already a monster

I want more of these two please please please pleaseee just one or two interactions in the new canon content coming up… All they ever did was debate philosophy on desires and human self-fulfillment and try to murder each other, please… I never get to gush about them and I can’t shut up so if you want more thoughts I talk about them more below

Sorry if most of these were Marcille-centric with Mithrun standing there looking cool, if I were doing these more from Mithrun’s pov things would be like "She’s a bit much but I guess I don’t mind hanging around her." or "Oh you’re a half-elf? -insert elven supremacist rethoric-" or "I have to keep her from becoming demon stew." immediately followed by "Did someone say demon? Kill kill kill kill kill" since these are set prior to like really knowing another. Then things would be more like "huh she has bad tastes in novels but her magic research is pretty interesting" and "I’m lonely and don’t understand myself— Oh she loves talking about feelings? Oh shi-" That last one is an aspect of why I like Marcille and Mithrun’s potential dynamic lol. She’s very… Emotionally intelligent alongside being impulsive. You think you have no feelings because the world has beaten them out of you? Think again!! Marcille be upon ye! -In a therapy sort of way but mostly in a connecting with people and your own self through interpersonal relationships and talking kinda way. I just think a lively, upbeat, annoying friend way too interested in your personal life would do him good, the canaries are nice but like if Marcille went to prison and was a sort of extra new bunkmate I think that’d be interesting and fun to read is what I’m saying

Unlike Kabru she wants all the useless messy filler of his backstory, eating chips while listening. Like two chibi sets side by side, "me and my fellow canaries, name name and name-" "Hold on that’s too much info we have to compact this" vs "Then we were to sleep on the third floor of the dungeon, which had the look of a mausoleum, and name and name got into a fight over the campfire placement." while Marcille is like uh-huh what next what next while kicking her feet. She thinks of pre-dungeon pompous Mithrun and is like omg you went through a character arc and became better as a person- and then he opens his mouth and she’s like nevermind let’s keep working on that. She would also go "ew ur hair is greasy" and give him a full hair care treatment. What I’m saying is I need them to be forced to spend time in a dungeon together and become besties through a life or death roadtrip

Marcille is insecure about her ears, long, like an elf’s pride should be, but rounder, inelegant. Seeing Mithrun though, the epitome of beauty, with his half-cut ears make it a sillier thought. Not sure if Mithrun is the best person to reconnect with ur elven culture with but it sure is an option Marcille would so appreciate being around someone both cool headed and kind, I genuinely think they’d get along, like not that Senshi isn’t that too most of the time but I think Mithrun would be in a way that’s more refreshing to her. I’d be so curious about them discussing Dalclan, I doubt he’d have read it but she could make him read it, maybe post-canon with the excuse that they’re trying to find him a new hobby hah. He’d tear into the writing and everything but it’d be a fun time, I like to think that it’d make him a bit less prejudiced. I’ve been in a Mithrun phase I want to make and read Mithrun-centric fics and angst so baaad. I razz him a lot here but he’s literally a traumatized military man that became obsessed with revenge due to bad coping and neglects himself in the process idk not much for him going on and some of it is because he has to work on himself, but hey no one’s perfect it all comes from a place of love and relating though I prommy. Eddie tries to avoid going into town when he can. However, when uncle Wayne asks him to pick some things up, he rarely says no.

So, he’s walking back out to his van from the grocery store, keeping his head down, not looking at anyone else. Yeah, he avoids going into town for a reason.

He parked far from the other cars, close to the alley on the side of the building. When he sets the bags in his backseat, he hears a noise. He turns his head, peeking into the shadows of the alley.

Curious, Eddie shuts his car door and walks over. He turns the corner and finds you, conveniently hidden out of sight of anyone who’s not looking.

You’re standing a couple feet over from the dumpster, a backpack on the ground in front of you, a hoodie over your head, and a can of spray paint making that noise he heard in your hand.

“Whatcha painting?”

“Shit!” You jump at the voice.

Your empty hand feels your heartbeat, quicker and quicker from the scare. When you turn to see who it is, you’re glad to see it isn’t Hopper catching you (again). It’s none other than Eddie Munson.

You know him, you went to school with him. He’s a person you’d like if you got close enough, not afraid to be himself, pushing away the bullshit people would give him. You admire that.

Looking at him standing there, at the mess of frizzy, wind blown curls, at the pink of his cheeks from the cold, you think he’s really pretty. You admire that, too.

“Sorry,” he says. “Didn’t mean to scare you.”

“The way you snuck up on me says otherwise.”

He recognizes you right away, your features, the scrunch of your brows. He noticed you in school—often—and he can’t help but smile when he looks at the wall you’ve been spray painting.

“These are yours?” He nods towards the art.

He laughs, not threatened at all. It makes you huff and fight a smile.

“Just wanted to tell you they’re really good. Did you do the one in the park, too?”

You’re shy at the attention he’s giving you. You never thought anyone cared enough to even notice what you’d been doing.

“Um, yeah. You saw it?”

He nods, “you’re really talented.”

Compliments are rare for you, and it’s hard to accept them. You look down at your feet and shake your head, “and you’re distracting me.”

Eddie likes you, feels normal around you. Everyone else makes him feel like an outcast, some freak that shouldn’t be the way he is. Not you. You’re talking to him like you’ve been his friend for ages.

“Keep going,” he leans against the wall opposite of you. “I’ll keep watch.”

“Yeah, okay.”

You turn back around and keep going, spraying the black lines outlining your design. You can feel Eddie’s eyes on you, like a zap of electricity. He said he’d be keeping watch, but you don’t call him out on it.

Minutes go by, quiet besides the sound of the paint coming from the can in your hand. It’s comfortable. You don’t feel like he’s bugging you, like he’s judging you.

If anything, it’s nice to have someone appreciate your work rather than get you in trouble for it.

It’s minutes and then there’s the sound of sirens. It’s probably not for you, but you’re paranoid.

“Gotta run,” you say, picking up your bag.

“Let me drive you.”

“You don’t have to do that, Eddie. I’m fast, promise.”

He likes the way his name sounds in your voice.

“Not as fast as my van.”

You roll your eyes at him, then look over his expression. “You sure?”

He’s smiling, not concerned at all. “Let’s go.”

Eddie walks over and grabs your hand, leading you over to his van. His grip is sure, not a question of whether or not he should be doing this. He wants to be, and you can feel it with the way his hand holds onto yours.

“I might get you in trouble,” you tell him. You follow him anyways.

“I’m already in trouble.”

He doesn’t just mean with authorities.

um no one asked but here’s some Val hcs I have:

killjoy knits and crochets, I like to think she learned this from a coworker at kingdom cause I think she’s a very creative person but can’t take a break for the life of her so crocheting and knitting is her way to be like all technical and stuff but take a nice break bc those activities (CAN BE) very relaxing

Raze can cook an amazing meal! I think she’s great at cooking and makes these beautifully looking and tasting meal however I think she struggles with baking since with cooking she does what I call the Asian way of cook; she just goes with the vibes of the meal and gets the right ratios every time but baking is like a fine delicate art so like as much as she tries she just cannot bake.

Sova bakes like a fucking master this man will and can bake anything he’s like “oh you want this really intricate baked good? I gotchu” and makes it. like wtf

He’s also not a natural blonde he actually has black brownish hair (it’s either a brownish black or a very very dark brown that looks black sometimes) and on this note he helps all the agents dye their hair when asked like he normally helps jett but sometimes gekko is lazy and asks for help, neon asks for help with the underdye she has, sometimes he helps yoru and fade too!

Phoenix gifts people cologne and perfume I have no reasoning for this other than I think it’s funny but he means it very well and gets the most fitting scents for everyone

sage cannot keep a plant alive for the life of her. She tries to hard but they all keep on dying some how. she gets distraught about it because everyone assumes she can and gets her plants but she can’t.

Skye regularly holds wood carving lessons at the protocol, all agents have stopped by at least once and she keeps everyone’s first attempt. Breach, Gekko, Killjoy, Raze, and Omen are the most frequent.

Yoru is very good at styling hair and will always give a hand to his fellow agents if needed, albeit reluctantly and constantly complaining. Sage and Skye don’t hear his complaints though.

Astra is pretty much the protocols 2nd mother. As much as everyone jokes sage is the mom, Astra does her part in watching over everyone! She helps out with minimal tasks, offers help to everyone, checks up on people and makes sure they’re doing alright, yells at people to take breaks (cypher, killjoy, sage, brimstone), keeps up a positive and lovely atmosphere and keeps everyone in line when needed!

K/AYO holds a game night every thursday night for everyone! Usually board games, sometimes video games. He has written very specific rules including: no playing Mario kart, Uno, and sorry. Monopoly is fine as long as no one gets into a fight. (He def has more, but these are the ones in BOLD)

Sova, Skye, and breach go on morning jogs together regularly! Others are free to join them! Fade and Deadlock tend to join them every now and then.

Deadlock and Sova r very much sibling energy but on a more chill level.

Gekko’s crew helps around the base a BUNCH. Wingman helps sage a lot, dizzy helps in the kitchen, thrash helps at the range, and mosh is very much emotional support.

On that note Jett and Neon ask jokingly for a therapist to be hired, Brimstone actually considers it every time because some people here are concerning then turns it down due to it being a security hazard.

Brimstone has a little box for people to put requests into: these requests can be about anything. Raze has asked for a free for all or team death match style of paintball! Viper, kj, cypher, and breach always ask for more equipment. Some agents ask for hobby stuff, trips, or group bonding. He goes through them every week and if it’s urgent like fixing something, they normally tell him or sage straight up.

Everyone in the protocol don’t really talk about their past, like ever. However, if the moment is right, they’ll drop a bomb to make a story or lesson really stick. Sova dropped the fact he has 5 sisters when Jett and Phoenix got into a fight and he had to tell them to quit it or else he’d make them hand write apologies together and stick them into a shirt like his sisters did to him and his younger sister. silly stuff like that nothing serious yk.

Also on the note of Sova (can you tell hes on of my favs) I don’t think he HATES cypher, just dislikes the fact he’s so secretive yet will through out information about others. He feels as if it’s hypocritical and dislikes this. idk if I explained this very well and can go more into detail it’s kinda fun I like cyberowl a lot !!

Harbor also realllyyy likes pottery, he’s a historian yk and sees a bunch of artifacts and pots that are from decades ago. He’s learned how to replicate and learned how respective periods made their pots/anything else clay related!! he’s very much into historical accuracy of how artistic things are made (ie paintings, clothes, pottery, and more)

Hi I’m new to tumblr so I’m not sure how you normally post on here but I wanted to try posting some sketches of earth from tsams! I’m not the best with anatomy so I won’t lie I did trace over some photos (REAL PHOTOS NOT ART) I found on Pinterest and modified the proportions to fit my design, but I’m trying to improve lol. For now I just rlly wanted to flesh out my design for earth which I couldn’t do while my anatomy looked like crap 😭 all the full body ones I used references for but the one in the right corner was all me so I’ve got that to my name at least 💪 I’ll include my “reference” pictures as well :> and below the pics is an explanation of the design because I love to gush about this kind of thing. Fair warning, it’s pretty long LMAO

Hehe now it’s time for me to gush about my lil design 😈

So the first major difference you probably noticed (aside from body shape) is the very fluffy clothing I have her in. The leg warmers and… fingerless gloves? Leg warmers that she put on her arms? Idk what the arm ones are called but yk what I’m talking about lol. When I first noticed earths little rainbow headband my brain immediately said “80’s workout videos”. The big hair, the rainbow headband, it just immediately jumped ot at me and stuck. I decided to give her oversized leg warmers in that same rainbow pattern because it made me sad that her actual design doesn’t have the rainbow anywhere else. It’s funky and I like it what can I say.

Next I decided I really wanted her to wear thigh-highs. I personally love thigh-highs and also it gave me an excuse not to think about her leg mechanics. I tend to draw Sun and Moon like ball joint dolls, but it gets a lil funky to draw when they are bending their limbs so having a fluffy excuse to hide them was ideal lol. I decided to go with the bold choice of putting thigh highs and leg warmers on her, which I don’t regret even tho it probably seems like a lot. I might change a few things about her later down the line since these were just basic sketches so don’t worry if you hate it.

I gave her shorts because a skirt just didn’t feel right for her. I feel like a daycare attendant would be very active, even if earth tends to sit with the quieter kids, and a skirt would be very awkward to climb around in. I figured shorts would be good. I drew them like jean shorts since that was the original intention but they could be cloth rather than denim gimme time to think about it 💀

I had a lot of trouble decided whether the thingies on her shoulders were stand-alone or like pieces of hair she keeps up front (probably attached cuz she’s a robot) I decided on making them attached to the bigger floor of hair cuz I thought it looked cutest on the pic with her shoulders up and in front of her face lol.

Onto her chest plate thing, I was considering making it an actual shirt but decided against it. I wanted her to have a crop top bc I love crop tops so I just made it so her chest area was painted like a shirt, and then her middle area was back to her “skin” color, so it’s almost like a crop top but not really…?

Last but not least is her face, I also made that her “skin” color and just put the blue and green as her cheeks! I thought it looked cutest that way. She also has heterochromia cuz when a character has two main colors I really enjoy putting them on opposite sides as often as possible haha. So her green cheek has her blue eye and her blue cheek has her green eye. I know her original model has two blue eyes but this was what I went with.

Anyways that was super long and I’m super nervous about posting this so I’m just gonna hit post and if I find a typo or decide my lil explanation was 4 paragraphs too many I’ll fix it later. Have a nice day whoever is still reading this! :>

I’ve been drawing with dip pens lately so I did a nib study using my ghost trick redesigns.

for anyone that’s interested here’s some notes on the nibs under the cut.

Leonardt 33 - Easily the one of the most flexible pen nibs I have. Technically this is designed for calligraphy, specifically spencerian, so the sideways movement isn’t great and there’s little control when doing hatching. Really dramatic swoops with high pressure that aren’t entirely appropriate for character portraits but I kinda dig what it did to Sissel’s hair. Will probably use it for special effects like fire and smoke and stuff.

Leondardt 33 - This one is actually intended for drawing so naturally it has a fairly consistent line weight with a low flex. The hatching marks are kinda scratchy but not in a bad way. Would probably work really well for continuous contour and styles of lineart that are more sketchy, loose, and dynamic than my normal character art style. Would prob use for larger pieces or figures closer to the camera cause the line weight is generally a bit too thick for the usual size I work with.

Tachikawa G - This is a nib made for drawing manga specifically and it’s really easy to use for drawing. Some of the calligraphy nibs really take some thought and careful motor control to look good but this one was forgiving. I see myself using this a lot for really casual art. It was kinda hard to do hatching or filling with this one tho, which was kinda surprising. Very gentle line variance, makes really clear shapes. You can see in the other characters than too high flexibility can make it hard for the brain to turn lines into form so this really mellows it out. Prob best to use this nib to block out the lineart then hatch/fill/detail with others.

Hunt 102 - this is a speedball job made for mapping and oh my god do I love this nib. It’s just so 👌👌👌 on the details??? the line variance perfectly matches the brushes I use on photoshop and it’s just. mwah. it holds onto literally so much ink despite being so tiny. interestingly hatching is unstable but two or three lines together seem to be just fine. Kinda sad that jowd’s hair is a little hard to focus on cause of the variance but with a little practice I can prob find ways around that cause I already know I’m gonna love using this nib for heads and faces. Filling is a bit patchy but otherwise I think this is gonna be my go-to detail nib. (also no jowd isn’t in overalls that’s supposed to be an art apron but with only like the top portion showing it’s hard to tell.)

Hunt 108 - ok this is Supposed to be a drawing nib as well as a calligraphy nib and it does mimic brush strokes but I’m pretty heavy handed so it’s hard Not to make those super thick lines. Not bad with details and has enough control to make thickening up the outline super easy, but really easy to mess up. This nib did Cabanela dirty by flexing a bit too much when I was doing his mouth so I had to correct it with a white pen. Spreads the ink too thin in areas for solid filling. I can see this working really well with mixed media, like with watercolor, and once I get some more colored ink I’ll use it for coloring.

Hunt 100 - idiot stupid rat bastard of a pen nib. ok the art looks fine right? can’t be that bad, right? it took me so long to make that because the ink just. wouldn’t come out. so this nib is another mapping nib and it’s super delicate so it breaks really easily. I broke my first one bc I’m heavy handed, so I ordered another like ‘ok I’ll be more careful with this one’. it broke again. I don’t even know how. Ideally I’d use it for small spaces or reeeally fine details but I can’t even get it to work long enough to try. speedball can meet me in the pits.

Hunt 512 - A calligraphy nib that’s actually really easygoing to draw with. There’s not much line variance, so the hairlines have a lot of control. Makes for really good hatching. Also does really great long, thin lines. Sideways movement is kinda meh but it does the job. Definitely the cleanest looking of all them, tho the lack of variance makes it a bit boring to look at. Gonna use this one for shading and textures or for drawing on really rough paper.

Hunt 99 - like the first nib this one is really dramatic, and it’s supposed to be a calligraphy nib, but it has a lot more weight control than the hunt 108. Also the fine lines are easier to control. A lot of ink comes out so it might not be great on paper with risk of bleeding, and it takes a while to dry compared to others, but it would be good for filling since it can cover a large opaque space while having good control over the shape and points. Could also use for different warping/texture techniques.

Other notes:

I used smooth illustration Bristol for the paper, since ink looks more vibrant and swooshy on it and also some of these nibs can Only be used on smooth paper.

Also used terracotta India ink, which is kinda on the thick end but still looks good. matches with the colored lineart in Ghost Trick lol

got all of my pen nibs from Paper & Ink Arts cause u can order a nib for like less than a dollar fifty each. You can also get paper, nib holders, and ink for a good price too.

if u wanna start with dip pens PLEASE prepare your nibs before drawing. stick them in a potato for like 10 minutes. please trust me on this you will have a bad time otherwise.

Also, her canonical relationship is one of thee most healthy relationships I've ever seen, especially with a character who has complicated feelings about romance and intimacy due to how she grew up in the foster system while also being autistic. The first show uses her character sooooo well, but I wouldn't recommend the revival because they have different writers and handle her, in my opinion, much worse and much more childishly and I HATE it. But yeah, first show??? really good love her favorite nbd rep."

which brush do you use in procreate?

For line art my go-to brush is fine tip in the inking section. I really love this one bc it create shaky lines that add dynamics to my drawing the way i can’t seem to achieve with other brushes. Then i usually experiment for fun by adjusting here and there, but in the end i find the og fine tip works best for me.

For coloring i don’t really have a favorite one normally i like to go through the presets and test out which brush/texture fit best with the mood of my work. Which is why my art doesn’t always look the same i guess…

Hi there, happy new year! I was wondering if i could get your insight on something. I’ve always had mixed feelings about Iroh sending Zuko to fight Azula & insisting it would be wrong for him to fight Ozai & also pushing the throne on Zuko. BUT it really rubs me the wrong way when I see anti Iroh takes that make him out to be so awful for this. I feel like everything Iroh does throughout the series comes from a place of love for Zuko even if he is flawed & can be messy & lazy & imperfect as a father figure - that’s what makes him interesting. But so much of what Iroh says in Sozin’s Comet Part 2 (to me at least, as I re watch the show) almost feels like…, not Iroh the Character speaking but almost just the writers using Iroh as a narrator if that makes any sense?

What I’m getting at is - do you have a take on Iroh’s motivations & what was going through his head during Sozin’s Comet part 2? I want to know what you think his perspective was because I feel like you always have good takes about what was going on in Iroh’s head & I have trouble reading him during a lot of this episode.

Ahhh thank you for this ask!! And I totally get where you're coming from.

I feel like Iroh insisting Zuko take the throne is a continuation of their discussion from The Avatar and the Fire Lord. While there are so many things left unsaid/not dealt with when it comes to Iroh, he probably doesn't at all feel like he's worth the crown. That and he's already stepped aside for so long, he could be realizing his complacency, his inaction, they've all piled up and now look at the mess they're in. He is not ruler material. Maybe he once was, but that's long past - and yet that's silly bc Iroh seems to already have the vibe that it's never too late to correct your wrongs.

I think Iroh is just... done with his home nation. The connection is gone. Iroh is loathed in the Fire Nation and has not had his name cleared in the rest of the world since before defecting. What would it look like politically for him to pop back up, fight/kill his brother who had been ruling for 6 years and had imprisoned Iroh, and then just plop on the throne? Even with the Avatar's blessing?

Ozai had to fall from the Avatar himself (granted I would have liked it if Iroh showed up to help Aang or something)

Now, going onto him sending Zuko to fight Azula, this is indeed where things get messy. One would think it's just as bad for Zuko to fight Azula when Iroh won't fight his brother - but I don't think Iroh intended for Zuko to KILL Azula. But Azula was going to continue her father's regime when crowned; even if he fell. There are a lot of things going on as well that they may or may not know, such as her mental state, what's going on with her banishing people at the palace; the hardest pill is that Azula is following through with plans set by her father to actively hurt an entire world.

The Fire Nation royal family is at the helm of the entire war.

Azula is a tragic product of it, as much as her brother, as much as her uncle, and yes, as much as Ozai. She has to be neutralized (not killed, just stopped) before she can keep following her father. This is it, this is endgame.

If Ozai has to be killed it's because he's LEADING everything; he's THE Fire Lord. Azula just needs to be stopped.

But I do agree that there's some really weird choice of words and plots. Iroh tends to get a lot of lines that sound great on paper, but in context it's like 'wait this doesn't sound helpful at all'.

ULTIMATELY though, Zuko becoming the Fire Lord, imo, is the best in the framing; although it would have been nice to see him question it more before suddenly wondering before speaking to Iroh. Let him question his desire for the crown, for the weight of it; let him reminisce on life in Ba Sing Se as a normal teenager. The royal family is in such shambles, there's almost nothing left of them. Honestly, neither Zuko nor Iroh nor anyone from the current family should have taken power over the Fire Nation - but that doesn't fit the bookends/Zuko's written story. Again, if there had been more self-awareness of the absolute fractured nature of the family, Zuko could have grown from his desire for the crown and found himself and I think with some newfound wisdom he could teach Iroh a few new things and that would be a great fresh start for their relationship and they could both go helm the Jasmine Dragon and Zuko gets, you know, a LIFE.

I think Iroh had good intentions naming Zuko, the next generation, someone who broke out of the chains of their family, the next Fire Lord, the one to lead the Fire Nation out of the war... but we don't even know what the Fire Nation itself thinks of Zuko, or the war for that matter. I mean, the prison guard Ming was pretty favorable of Iroh - but I have a notion it's shorthand for the viewer bc Iroh is supposed to be 'a good guy' by that time and having someone be genuine with him softens the blows of his time at the prison; but it would have been neat to learn that maybe Ming came from a family that favored from his time as a general and she was kind of blinded by that bias. Maybe the 'mean' prison guard had beef with Iroh because of Ba Sing Se.

I'm sorry I keep getting sidetracked (kinda like Iroh's writing ayoooo) but like yeah; I feel like Iroh's come to terms with the fact that he would make a poor leader (and yet the comics shove him into the interim Fire Lord position); but it would have been nice if he'd stuck around for a while; at least for Zuko's coronation and to make sure he had a good staff/council/updated the Fire Sages. There's a lot of stuff in S3 that breaks my heart with Iroh; some of it is on a good plane, but the execution is, admittedly very weak. I don't think Iroh meant to put more divides in the family that weren't already there, but I can see how it's interpreted that way. There's a war and he's picking the side that he feels is just.

It's the same when Azula shot Aang down with lightning - she's fighting on her side of the war.

Iroh knows she and Ozai must be defeated. He's fighting on his side of the war.

When Zuko asks Katara 'want to help me put my sister in her place?'

it's a heartbreaking echo of 'I'm about to become an only child'

The only reason Iroh and Zuko 'win' at the end is because they come out on the same side as the Avatar after they help defeat their own family. Iroh and Zuko are alive and well. But their family is not; and I think no matter what they did, it was going to end up that way.

Anyways i only now finished reading svs because i’ve been putting it off in favour of reading different fics (works from other fandoms and… ooc soukoku fics. Listen i hate mischaracterisation as much as the next guy but i find them very entertaining okay) and AAAUURGGHH WHAT A BANGER. The way you write is immaculate if svs was a food it’d have a savoury taste like i’d be liking my fingers n shit. I found out about it when you posted on twitter you updated it (it was the smut chapter, by the way) and i was like “huh” and decided to read it and my god am i glad I didn’t skip over that tweet.

Idk if this was on purpose or not but verlaine is kinda cringefail in your fic and i love it. I am a firm believer that as badass as verlaine is he is undeniably embarrassing and i need MORE of that.

My one criticism for svs is that we needed more adam scenes. He should have been added like really, unnecessarily early on in the fic and act as a third wheel in the fic. But like a third wheel soukoku did not want or ask for but he’s just kinda there they can’t really get rid of him. Chuuya and dazai in their divorce arc arguing and adam is in the background thinking “i could crack a really funny joke from this” (on that note i added the lines “Adam’s blabbering makes more sense now, so they act as if nothing has happened. “When I lift this veil, you will seal the deal with a kiss.” He can’t stop himself from laughing, “I hope you enjoyed that joke too.” “We didn’t,” Verlaine says from across the shrine. “Paul be quiet.”” In my “collection of fanfic lines I chuckled at” in my notes. He’s so silly i love him. I love how he laughs at his own jokes he just like me fr.)

Anyways here are like two extra svs doodles. I keep thinking about how you said that chuu can fluctuate between genders (literally) and its so… zamn.

And reading the scene where verlaine is brushing chuuya’s hair inspired me to draw this

I have no idea how long chuuya’s hair is supposed to be like idk if it’s “yeah his hair is a little longer than it is in canon haha” or “yeah mf got some LONG ass hair looking like rapunzel”. Also I don’t remember if his lil ribbon was red or blue but.. i jus went with blue and i didn’t know if the pearls were supposed to be like on his head or woven into his braid so i just went with the latter. And again ALSO i know he was barefoot but i’m not drawing his fucking dogs okay.

WAHHHHH THANKSSSS hehe hmm I’ve never formally given art advice before (i also haven’t taken a single class so this might not be that helpful) but I’ll try 👍👍👍

Personally I always used to have trouble during SKETCHING yeah that’s right the step everyone says is “fun” I’d always get annoyed with trying to perfectly convey the image idea I wanted while constantly fixing and starting over and cleaning up and by the time I finished the sketch I’d be way too exhausted from how many discarded ideas and redoing I did AND the lines would be mildly confusing to me 🥸🥸🥸guidelines always kinda felt stiff and slow to me so that didn’t work either

Then I started getting LAZY n stuff😏😏😏😏basically you use a big brush and roughly draw the shape idea you have and then you get an eraser and either sculpt the shape to align with your idea or you’d outline some parts so you get the idea of the figure

Sneak peek of a drawing as an example heehee uh I also add a 10% black layer over everything on the sketch then erase where I think the light will be (good guideline for later n it makes the sketch look COOL) also when I’m doin big pieces it’s easier to fix how it looks bc I’m not as distracted by sketch line details n forget to look at the entire image as a whole😋

ALSO don’t b afraid 2 use filters lots of people use them it’s not like its a program creating an image using tons of stolen art without consent🥸🥸🥸🥸it’s just some color correcting n so on like an orange “overlay” to make everything look sunnier or a blue “hue” layer to make everything slightly closer to a color but not too much so it looks distinct

Even though the colors r nice it also ends up muffling / changing the brightness n darkness of some colors that you don’t want in your final piece (I normally end up using “multiply” layers to darken some spots along with “Hard Light” layers to change the hue and some “add” layers if I feel like i want cool glowing stuff) you can also set an all black layer to Saturation and play with it’s opacity to get a less saturated product

Anyway lastly uhh stare at similar artworks depicting the thing you’re trying to do like ummmmm if u wanted to shade water for a beach you can look at artworks n take a mental note on how it manages to look like water (there’s lots of different styles n if you can go browse until u find one that could work with yours)😋😋😋😋

Umm it’s annoying but true so I have to say that I’m generally unhappy with the art I’ve made because I feel like I could do better, but in the spirit of the question, I’m gonna go with my dad nacho drawing because I feel like it opened the door to meet so many cool people and I wouldn’t have had that chance without it

What’s something you would like to create content for? Within BCS: definitely marco/jimmy and Marco/jimmy/kim. Outside of BCS: Barry for FUCKING sure, maybe arrested development. I need to watch more tv and film in general but I’ve been especially itching to do some sad gay MOPI stuff

I mean I’m normal so… you’re definitely not going to find me pouring over every morsel of lore that my favorite actors drop about themselves and their perspectives on life and how they got to where they are today. I was excited to start my small business but I’ve (predictably) gotten bored of it and want to do something else. I will never understand the mindset of “Yeah I started this altercation because I publicly talked shit about you on my public account BUT bc you have a lot of followers and are a legal adult (19) the way you talk to me has to reflect that power imbalance. Yes I made up rumors about you or at the very least didn’t look deeper into the accusations but uhhhh all your followers are quoting my public tweet and I’m 17 so you’re literally harassing a minor and should feel bad about not coming to me privately the way I did not do to you.”

Like. Sure. Older people in fandom bullying teenagers is not something I’m about especially the older I get. But 17 and 19 is Not 17 and 25 I feel like you can’t pull the minor card on someone just bc they’re a popular artist which you Knew when you reposted their art to shit on them.

Like I’d say this rant on Twitter but I’m not close to the artist and this is just me hating so much the way fandom has become this evil competition and how you can say awful shit about people as long as you have less followers or you’re younger. In this case No the “gap” in ages is not enough to justify feeling entitled. Like if you’re gonna shit on someone two years older than you who you Know has a lot of followers…. Like I wonder why they have you blocked if this is how you behave. No one deserves harassment regardless of how popular they are or how many ppl are in their corner. But if I openly talked shit and spread rumors about a popular artists and then people were calling me out in the quotes I wouldn’t turn around and say “

2024 stop bullying and seeing it as justified bc you dislike something that’s not hurting anyone. Stop being mean and rude and thinking it’s fun. Stop using age when you’re only two years apart to claim that there’s some big power imbalance when you are the one who starts the shit. Bc and I cannot state this enough. Being a Legal adult by one year is not the same as being thirty and willingly bullying teenagers. Someone who is 19 is not somehow more powerful than someone who is 17 online. Like ppl have different maturity levels but a bully is a bully and it’s very clear who did something they didn’t need to. In public without censoring the name on the art they reposted.

Like the disconnect between “why did you send your followers who are able to see my public tweet after me you are bullying me”. Like no. People can step out of line and That is not okay. Bc again that’s not cool. But. A public tweet. With art. That has their name in it. They didn’t need to send anyone after you they know who you’re talking about.

Like I’m saying all this as someone who’s been in fandom spaces for a good chunk. Not super long but long enough to see this shift where being openly rude is super normal and when the person who is being shit on claps back it’s always Um I’m younger or Um you have more followers. And sometimes it’s a valid point. Sometimes it’s two teenagers who use Being 18 as some kind of weapon as if the actual age means anything when it comes to Literally and Publicly Bullying a person. I hen I turned 18 I didn’t think or feel any different. Being able to vote or look at porn has no bearing on who it’s ok to harass especially when you’re still in the same age range. Like.

I’m just so tired and it makes me sad to see young people have this kind of mindset in fandom. There are times when things need to be taken seriously and discussed with maturity. But pulling out trump cards AS the bully has been one so normal and it’s like they don’t even care. Being Weird is bad enough to warrant bullying and if you try to combat it you better be the same age and have the same follower count I guess.

Am I at fault for something? I’ve been thinking about this lately and can write about it now I think… bc when someone had called me a liar about my supposed traumas I couldn’t fall asleep that night or function all afternoon that day which was recently and I was panicking, suicidal, and throwing up in my room. Idk if anyone else reacts like that? So, this kid stole from me a few times when we were kids and he took my lunch as some kind of joke and was smirking when he started shredding it up and making it fall everywhere and on the floor and it really upset me I ended up raging at him in the cafeteria and idk if I hit him or not but I remember wanting to but holding back I think bc he was still a friend to me…but after that I severed my friendship with him then I remember forgiving him and we started being around each other again then he did it again with my art work in class and after that I lost it on him but never hit him just lashed out and screamed again. He got mad at my reaction and threatened to kill me Idk if I was overreacting and being too aggressive as I feel I tended to be in situations like this growing up, I was already getting bullied and SA by lots of kids so having my friend be a little mean for no reason made no sense to me and probanly made me overreact in a way that might’ve been hurtful to him and he probably didn’t deserve such a cold shoulder too. After he threatened to kill me I ended up making a threat back that went something like this “yeah well I’ll make your face bleed.” And I felt guilty instantly my anger was gone like I just wanted my friend back who we used to play pranks together in the lunch room I used to squirt ketchup on myself and things to be funny and we’d all giggle about it and make sure the lunch ladies didn’t see so we didn’t get into trouble. and I feel I lost someone I used to like a lot. It was so long ago so it’s not like it matters anymore anyway. my family always said I was too mean and aggressive growing up and such a bad kid and every time I defend myself I feel like I’m manipulating everyone. Like how my family used a situation against me where a boy kept forcibly shoving his face in my arse and I kept running away but he kept following me and shoving his face up there and I was so uncomfortable when I didn’t react to that incident they said it was his fault, but in a similar incident with a different boy I was blamed for being abusive bc I hit the boy who forced hands on me first and idk everyone has different opinions about everything ig idrk if kids are allowed to or capable of hitting or fighting back without it making them the instigator? Or if it’s abnormal for a child to react with aggression and hostility? I know in normal situations it wasn’t really like my personality to be like that and I asked friends and they all said I was really normal and never aggressive. So idk if it was just self defense? My mom said I was so mean to her growing up and for no reason that she was such a good mom why would I be so cruel? When I asked for an incident or memory she’d bring one up and she ignored half the issue where she was always forcing me to hug her when I didn’t want to or kissing my lips or neck or doing things like slapping my ass but she only brought up me spitting at her (which happened after she crossed boundaries) or throwing temper tantrums, or hitting and pushing away and often hiding somewhere. Sometimes I don’t know where to draw the line between where was I reacting and where was I just a bad kid? I feel like I’ve developed ocd obsessions (a doc already told me I’m cptsd and ocd) towards thinking if I’m believing in my own lies or exaggerating things to make me look innocent and I keep researching things like cognitive distortions and other stuff and asking people a lot about these things obsessively. So if I'm understanding you correctly, you're reflecting on different scenarios in your life where you felt like you were disproportionately aggressive. I think a lot of your behavior was justified because you were simply defending your boundaries and space in many of the examples you gave. What those people did to you was not okay and you deserve to be treated better. You should not be expected to just be okay with people violating your boundaries. People who make it seem like it's your fault for defending yourself are only enabling the abuse.
