Official Staff Positions

As promised, here are the official list of staff positions and openings that will be available for applications that open September 15-September 30! Each comes with an overview of what is asked of each position. Every staff member is allowed to help another staff member with something if needed to prevent burnout, frustration, or spreading staff too thin, such as Writing Staff lending a hand to Storykeeper Staff, or Moderators helping manage events.

Moderator

The Staff position that oversees that everyone is behaving and following the rules of the server, ensuring that arguments are kept to a minimum by acting as a mediator, and overall ensuring the safety of the community. These are the staff members that you will go to to discuss a problem you have or questions you may have about the server overall!

Writing Staff

The Staff position that is responsible for playing NPCs when needed, helping with the current story arc and planning future story arcs, and helping with and accepting in server characters and adoptables! This is the staff member you will primarily go to with questions about lore, character creation or plotlines you'd like to involve!

Event Staff

The Staff position that is responsible for creating and managing the smaller weekly events, changing them over as the week rolls over, and giving members fun prompts that are relevant to the current story arc and what's happening irp! This position is also responsible for member events, such as streaming or playing games, movies, and [potentially] secret Santa's and artfights!

Storykeepers

The Staff position that is responsible for managing the current storylines and happenings! Such as what is happening in each Clan, how Clan relations are developing, any drama or gossip! This position is also responsible for archiving completed threads. The information gathered and kept by Storykeepers is going to be used for server news updates and individual Clan updates, as well as gossip Channels!

I am not putting a cap on how many I will accept of each, and if I feel as though we do not have a stable numbers on the team throughout the Clan Openings in October, I will open Staff Applications again to fill in the blanks if needed.

Future Staff Openings are possible if it feels as though the server is too much for the amount of staff as time goes on, but these will open to the server members first, and tumblr after.

For Staff Acceptances, these will go out the week following closure of Staff Apps, and I will be in touch with you through tumblr DMs or Discord if possible! More information on this will be included once Staff Applications go live, or as always, if you have any questions, please do not be afraid to reach out to me through the inbox or DMs!!

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? I had a dream last night that I was trying to translate something into Italian and I discovered that Google Translate had added several languages that weren't,,, actually languages?

Like they had one called 'Neurotypical' that took cryptic double-meanings and made them straight-forward, and they had one called 'Corporate' that translated bureaucratic bullshit into plain words, but the one that I remember most clearly was called 'Passive-Aggressive Asshole,' and it looked like this -

In the dream I also put in "You're so welcome" and it translated it to "You'd better be grateful, you fuck."

Give me Bruce and Jason, who are not on the war path anymore, but they are still awkward and absolutely clueless on how to make things up, so they pretend that they need something from each other in order to spend some time together. Even if these things are absolutely simple, and both of them could handle it themselves, if they wanted to.

Bruce, calling Jason in the random Friday night: So, Alfred left for a week. And I promised kids to do a homemade cake for them. And you know how useless I am in the kitchen. So.

Jason, who knows that Bruce is, in fact, not useless in the kitchen, but low-key misses cooking with him, because the last time they did it, it was Alfred's birthday before his death, and they did the cake together: Theoretically, I agree.

Bruce, sighing in relief: Theoretically, I will need you in Manor tomorrow in the morning. And I theoretically will pay for that.

Jason: Theoretically, see you tomorrow.

Bruce: Theoretically, thank you.

Jason, dealing Bruce in the middle of the night: Old man. Bail me out of the prison. I am in CGDP's building.
