Collection of Overlords _ Part 3 = Requested
[Alastor x Soul Owner of All Overlords!Reader]
Related Ask (1) + (2)
Part 1 — Part 1.5 — Part 2 — Part 3 (here)
Tumblr media
On the appointed day, you dressed your best and made sure everything was right. Then you sat at the balcony that overlooked the entrance of the hotel, enjoying your drink with a hum. You were pleasantly surprised when Alastor joined you with a plate of traditional breakfast platter, just as you like it but never spend the time to make
The two of you enjoyed a peaceful morning together, until a little argument got too heated between a hotel guest and an outsider. Alastor swiftly got up and bowed to excuse himself, working as the host of the hotel, he needed to handle the issue since Charlie was a bit of a pushover and not quite convincing when it came to breaking off fights
It led you to wonder if you should give Charlie some pointers like you did to her parents, but then you recalled how Vaggie, Charlie’s girlfriend, was by her side. You’ll admit that they have quite the unique dynamic in their relationship and not in the bad way. So you decided against it and let things go as they please
With a miniture earthquake and some screaming, the argument seemed to be handled well. Not long after that thought, Alastor had returned to your side. Both of you enjoyed your time together again, before you decided it would be fun to drop in on Camilla, not that she’d be preparing when it’s this late
Alastor offered you his hand with a bow, you rose from your seat and gave him your hand. A portal opened beneath you two and the both of you emerged on the other side in the blink of an eye
“Who dares to enter—! My Liege!” Carmilla caught herself half way when she looked over to see you and Alastor arrive earlier than expected, “Welcome to my humble abored. I hope this is satisfactory.”
“I sprung this onto you, so it’s okay.” You turned your head to her, removing your hand from Alastor’s while a small but soft smile played on your face. With your closed eyes, it gave you such a look of elegance that Carmilla strived to be.
“You’re too kind.” Carmilla bowed to you in greeting.
“How are your daughters? I heard you’ve survived quite the ordeal last last extermination.” You inquired, your smile widening just a smidge.
Carmilla flinched, though it wasn’t the fact that you knew since she did tell you about killing an angel and what to do if it got out. It was more on the sense that you were showing care to lesser individuals, as much as she hated to admit. “They are fine. Would you like to see them?”
You hummed, “Of course.”
Not even a second later, Carmilla’s daughter duo came out from whatever hiding spot they were at. Odette and Clara both gave you a bow of their own style, though still respectful. “Collector! It’s good to see you again!”
You raised their heads by the chin, then rubbing their heads with a chuckle, “Look at you two, still fun sized. You’re as beautiful as your mother, you know?”
Carmilla blushed while Alastor gave her a teasing grin. Meanwhile, Odette and Clara chuckled along with you. “Thanks!”
You turned to the Overlord, “Now, we have time, why not chat a bit? Tell me about your business.”
Carmilla Carmine was your first female and second Overlord that you came into contract with. She was by far one of the more successful souls that you favour and support from the shadows. Her initial deal was the right to make business ventures to other Rings of Hell in exchange for your ownership of her soul
It later changed when she knew angelic weapons can be wielded. For additional protection that would extend to lesser demons, namely her two daughters, she gave you a range of modified angelic weapons and crafted your Cages with angelic steel. Of course, with Carmilla’s successful, you later continued to support her and protect her daughters from danger
Passing along a card to Odette and Clara that holds the power to summon you in times of need no matter the case. Good acts are rewards, Carmilla learned, you weren’t at all evil to the core or cruel to abuse your owned souls like other would, that’s what she admired about you
Before your absence, you would hang out with her and her daughters on days to discuss about business opportunities and how business was going in the other Rings since it was hard for Carmilla to receive feedback like that
In fact, that day, they were trying to find you, only to end up being cornered by exterminators. While Odette and Clara wanted to summon you to their aid, Carmilla made them hold off. She was present, she can protect them and show you they weren’t weak. So she did what you had suggested before, to actually test out her weapons on the intented targets
You were overjoyed when you first heard the news. An Overlord had actually managed to kill angels and it was done while protecting others. You truly didn’t waste your time and energy on Carmilla, that’s for sure
Yet you wonder why Carmilla was still insecure about her position as one of the Elites that you’d never give up. She can’t be threatened when she has such success in her domain; the best Weapons’ Dealer of Hell
“I desire I wasn’t late to greeteth thee, mine own Liege. (I hope I wasn’t late to greet you, My Liege.)” Zestial greeted with a bow.
You waved your hand, by now you have returned to the meeting room with Alastor stationed behind you by your left side. “No, no. I was early. Wanted to catch up with Carmilla, you see.”
Zestial took the seat to your right and next to Carmilla who had already left his seat empty, “T hath felt as though t hast been ages since we lasteth did talk. (It felt as though it has been ages since we last talked.)”
Zestial was your first and oldest Overlord by far. He maintained his spot at the top of your collection with ease. With his fearful reputation before your support, he was one to be reckoned with
It seems that his knowledge of Hell and wisdom served him well, as he was the one to seek you out when you were first on the hunt for potential Overlords to crown and give your support to. He offered himself to you wholeheartedly and obediently, something you didn’t expect someone of his caliber to do so. Yet it proves that he was knowledgable not to cross you
His humble nature earned your good graces. You offered him support and protection to which he agreed without much thought. Funny how he never asked for more as he was someone deserving of more. So you gave him a fearsome authority that makes sinners and demons alike trumble in fear in his presence
During your time of weeding out the weaker Overlords, it was with his knowledge that you overturned the system the sinners so ignorantly constructed without power or authority. To this day, you didn’t think your ‘Overlord rank’ planning would be this smooth if not thanks to Zestial
Needless to say, he was also another soul you won’t let go
“Oh, My lovely darling Liege! It’s been so long! Where have you been?! Oh, you’re always so mysterious!” Rosie greeted with a bow and a half curtsy to you, she came to your left side, setting her umbrella on the second empty seat as the first was for Alastor should he be told to sit. Then she opened a box and showed it to you, “A gift from Cannibal Town~! Prepared it myself, your favourites.”
“Thank you, Rosie. You know my taste well.” You smile, picking up the demon parts before nibbling on it, savouring the taste. “It’s wonderful. Tell me, how’s your town after the battle with Heaven?”
“Everyone had their fill, Alastor did me no wrong.” Rosie winked in Alastor’s direction who smiled back. “We’re all happy to be able to help out.”
Rosie was your third Overlord to form a contract with. Her record was quite perfect and ideal too, the leader of the Cannibals. At the time, she was a ringleader, sure. But she lacked the territory to provide for the other Cannibals, so you provided and supported. The moment the deal was signed, a town was constructed to be named as her domain
You’ll say, they were quite the nice ones, save for the devouring other demons. Rosie’s territory had to be one of the more respectful and disciplined ones that you love. You lament on the fact that Rosie wasn’t the violent type, though it’s a relief as well perhaps
“My Sovereign!” Zeezi bursted in, immediately bowing, “Sorry, I would have been here earlier but some pucks was trying to get in and I have to teach them a lesson!”
“It’s all well, the meeting has yet to start.” You eased Zeezi’s rushed thoughts.
Zeezi bowed her head as a nod, taking her seat next to Rosie. “Right.”
Zeezi was the largest within your Overlord Collection and the most physical one. Whenever it was a more violent and brutal ordeal you needed taken clear of, she was the Overlord you call upon. Unlike those that came before her, she was more free spirited and you let her keep that element of hers
At first, she was hestitant to submit to your service, but you’ve showed her there was now to power than violence and brute force that she displays and revolves around. She pride herself as the strongest Overlord with great physical strength. Maybe she’ll win against another Overlord, but not you. As easily as squashing a bug, you had her pinned
In return for her soul, you offer her strength and authority, as well as your support in her rise and maintance as an Overlord. She was smart to take the deal without a need for a beatdown, while you’re delighted to provide, you didn’t want to damage your soul
“The Witching Hour is almost upon us.” You spoke. It was an indirect question to ask who was still not in attendance.
Everyone turned to the opposite side of the table from where you sat, the three empty seats for the only grouped Overlords. Alastor suggested, “Perhaps they don’t want to attend.”
“Or their representative is running late.” Carmilla hissed, an obvious scowl on her face.
The doors suddenly bursted open, though even more force as opposed to Zeezi’s entrance. However, they appear to be still in their little world.
“I told you it’s this way but you didn’t even listen!” Velvette shouted.
“How was I supposed to know? It’s all the same!” Valentino exclaimed back.
Alastor cleared his throat rather loudly, bringing the Vees’ attention to the room they’ve entered. “Quite brazen of you to not greet our Liege.”
Vox flinched, immediately passing by the other Overlords and stood to your side, he bowed repeated as he apologized, “I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to make you uncomfortable. I was just trying to make sure you’re safe! It’s nothing like stalking! Really! Trust me! I’d never—!”
“Damnit! Stop apologizing so much!” Velvette came over to slap Vox in the back of his screen head, making her partner glitch and malfunction. Velvette pulled back Vox till they were next to Valentino, she silently whispered but everyone could hear as clear as day, “One, two, three…”
“We greet our Master.” The Vees all bowed, finally greeting you.
You hummed, head tilted a bit, “Arriving the last and creating a scene, you three almost amuse me so.” Your eyes peeked open a bit, “Not in a good way.” A chill ran down the three’s back while Alastor had a smug smile directed to them, especially at Vox, and the other Overlords remained quiet but were internally grinning. “Now sit down.”
“Yes…”
And then there were the Vees, the last to add to your collection and the most disappointing souls by far. They are strong in their own rights, yet they require the other two to boost their power. You were already able to do so, why would they prefer each other more? It was in a way insulting. However, you’d rather they be under your thumb than them running amok in the Pride Ring
It’s times like these where you wonder if Husk would make a better Overlord than them if he learnt his lesson
With Vox, he was trying to please you while also trying to appear better than Alastor. In your opinion, if he had focused more on himself and his strength, he could go places. Yet he opted to working with the other two
With Velvette, she was a strong lady, no doubt. Similar to Zeezi, but more chaotic and destructive. She doesn’t take criticism well, more focused on her own perspective and views. Nothing wrong in that sense, but it limits her capacity for more. She could have been so much more
With Valentino, oh, you don’t even know where to start. You honestly believe he’s a total lost cause. While believing so, your fear tactic worked to perfection. Your dissatifaction and anger was the first thing he avoids. Usually, he’s very very outspoken, but when you were around, he was more careful. Though that doesn’t account for his actions and behaviours when you were out of sight
You clapped your hands together, your eyes closing once more. All your Elites were here and accounted for, all three levels seated as you’d like. All the souls that you own have gathered before you once again. “Let’s begin the reunion of an afterlife time.”

Note: Still not the exact meeting yet, but the drama is gonna happen next one! I think this one might be a bit boring cause I'm laying out the relationship. Oh well~

Hello may I request a Platonic! Dazai x Mother! Reader.
Basically, Reader is Dazai’s biological mother, but of course he doesn’t know and grew up thinking he had no mother for the majority of his life, and Reader watched over him during his Mafia days, watching and protecting him in the shadows while putting up a front and working besides Hirotsu, who along with Mori knew they were related. So before and during the Dark Era, reader and Mori made a deal that if Dazai left the Mafia, she would be forced into isolation with no contact with the outside world, but if Dazai stayed, the reader would finally be able to speak with her son as a mother instead of a stranger. Obviously, Dazai left, and it wasn’t until the whole fiasco with Fyodor and the vampire outbreak that during the scene with Chuuya “shooting” Dazai in the head, he finally heard his mother’s voice of sorrow and anger shouting to Fyodor, “What have you done to my son?!”
(The ending is up to you and how Dazai reacts and if you write this as Yandere or not. P.S. I love your works and I am an absolute fan of your Zhongli/Albedo! Reader, Yandere BSD fic❤️)

What was a mother like for him...? Dazai does not know.
He doesn't remember his parents much either... Perhaps abandoned him? Perhaps he is worth nothing in the eyes of his parents... Even his mother must be ashamed to birth him... Right?
Dazai always felt incomplete as he Stared the happy families which he... Wish he had too.
That was until, Mori brought him to Port mafia.
Perhaps he truly belongs to... Bloodshed?
Perhaps not...
But his heart melt when you came to his life.
You were apart of Black Lizards... Well not that much but some... Connected mission you does so.
You were about 35 or perhaps more then that?.
To be honest... You yourself was shocked to see your son in port mafia.
Even if you want to approach him... Ask how the father was... You knew somehow he... The father must have past away leaving... Dazai alone.
Don't get y/n wrong... She was a victim of Teenage pregnancy... The father offered her money to birth a boy for him to inherit his property as a refine man
As your parents left a huge debt onto your life you agreed.
But somehow... Dangle yourself with Hirotsu your... Friend... Perhaps? You can say that way even If he is older then you but.
He was the one offered you to join Port mafia.
Unaware of the fact Dazai have no one with him... To call a family...
Only through Him appeared with Mori had you realise your guilt.
You blame yourself not trying to find the fact if your son was okay.
Perhaps money does blinded your motherly nature.
But... All you can do was smile warmly at him.
Despite Kouyou who take upon you too... She respect you like an older sister and watch over Dazai for you too when you are out.
But... Perhaps that was a fault on your part to be attach with your son... Who doesn't realise your his mother.
Honestly you were very much concern when he ask you to suicide with him.
It was... Heartwrenching on your part.
But slow it was yet, you stay with Dazai... Like a mother... No to ease your guilt for leaving him almost 13 years of his life.
He was an just a baby a year old when you left him... You can't blame him if he forget you... As you are the fault here.
"L/n-san! Did you know what happen today?" Asked Dazai who happily sat beside you and side hug you as you gently smile at him.
"What happen today? Dazai?"
"Today I burn a farm! It was accident but thankfully those people which we need to kill are dead now"
"So you completed your mission?"
"Yep! And I eventually hurt my head!"
"Are you fine now? Shall we go to Boss?"
"Nope! Just kiss my forehead and it will be better!" Said Dazai as you chuckle slightly yet does so.
He oftens stays beside you laying his head on your lap as you let him sleep.
He felt close to you... Perhaps if he had a mother... If she is alive maybe... Will she care like you do? He often thought that way while letting himself cuddle to you.
As much as he hate sharing your warmness you also care for Akutgawa... Well leading him to take some... Steps which concern you.
Akutagawa start avoiding you afraid he will disappoint Dazai.
Your ability was not for fighting more likely telepathy. You can talk to people afar through telepathy if you wanted to and... The fact you read mind because of it.
𝙿𝚢𝚜𝚌𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚕𝚎𝚗: your ability name.
Perhaps that is the reason why 𝙼ori was fond of you... Short of way.
He knows Dazai is your son and you care a lot.
Despite him should not value much but for an tiny bit he kind of find peace been with you.
"Did you know, Y/n-chan"
"Hmm?" Your gentle e/c eyes side glance at Mori who hold onto Elise hands who on the other hand holds yours.
Afar it might look like a family but you aren't far from that thought.
"Some colleagues were wondering if we were married of sort before I... even became the boss you often stay around for me" said Mori as your gentle smile never wavered.
"Oh? But I do say, Boss you should get married unless you plan on dying single"
"Your indeed correct but I cannot find a women who is kind or tolerable for me"
"Are you searching for one?"
"Not really... Perhaps I already have someone on my mind" said Mori who stopped and faced you.
You blink slightly confused as Mori gently hold your left hand.
"There are women's that come and go even if I trust my ability as a sole... You have also become an important piece on my life, Y/n"
"...what... are-" his other hand gently stroke your face as your eyes widen staring up at him.
'I know you will read my thoughts... But I guess it will better this way...' Thought Mori to you as your eyes widen by his confession.
'Will you marry me y/n? And solely be apart of my life?'
"...but what if, I betray you?"
"Will you?" Said Mori who let out a chuckle as he stepped away abit as your mind race with thought of confusion as the only word came to your mind.
'Reject him'
"Well I will give you time to think..." Said Mori leaving with Elise who chuckle and walk away with your mind been blank of what to think.
Your heart was forever close for anyone except your son whom you love dearly as a mother should.
But... Loving another man? Yes Mori have been kind to you and you knew him when he was just an underground doctor.
You even met Fukuzawa too who told you to leave Mafia.
But you couldn't.
You can't leave your son.
And before that you couldn't.
You cared about Hirotsu.
Who is only friend of yours that was with you when your parents sucided themself.
Time past by as you were more likely ignore the question of that day.
As One day Dazai left.
He left without a word.
As much as it hurted you.
You knew it was better perhaps that friend of his have really change Dazai for better.
You could only wish to see your son been in good well.
Even if Akutagawa was hesistant he still stay with you as you cared for him as he was indeed your son student.
Both the siblings admit your like a mother for them and you even encouraged them to call you their mother of sort.
But...
When Dazai left you knew your fate was sealed.
"What do you think, Y/n-chan? Do you like white or red dress as a wedding dress?" Asked Mori while selecting dresses with Elise looking in choosing some accessories.
"Anything... Will be fine Mori-san..."
"Now now, You should call Ougai now no?" Said Mori who smile and gently hold your face sway away strand of hairs of yours from your face.
"After all, We will be together and you will be my wife soon, Isn't it lovely and honour for you to be my wife?"
"..."
He squeeze your face tighter as you try your best to smile a bit.
"Ye-yeah... Ougai-san..."
"Good very good... It is a shame Dazai will be unaware that I will be his soon step dad... Ah the irony but don't worry Y/n-chan I really like you... But more likely your ability is something which I cannot let you leave Mafia again" as Mori lean to your ear as you could feel his warm breath to yours.
"Never are you... Going to leave me, understood?"
"Y-yes Ougai-san"

But perhaps fate will bring the truth to your son... Well... More likely Ada told him the truth.
"...what do you mean?" Muttered Dazai as he side glance at Ranpo who told him the truth with Fukuzawa nodding with a frown present.
"Y/n l/n... Is your biological mother"
"...why did she left me then? And why did she come to my life again instead... Why?" Asked Dazai as he couldn't care if he is over showing his emotions.
As gentle as you are Fukuzawa frown that not a bit of Dazai resemble you perhaps the father infected him more.
Though some part he is slightly glad you never married anyone else after The birth of Dazai.
Either way, Dazai was asking what they meant truly.
"Your mother gave birth to you when she was only... 16 perhaps yeah... Been force to pay debt of her late parents she was offered money to birth a son by your father... Your mother was tossed away and given money when you were just a year old. Unaware of your life that your father passed away soon after and... Your Uncle took away your inheritance leaving you... Somewhere either way... Yeah it is y/n l/n your mother"
"...all this time... She was so close to me... Yet I never knew... I have to meet her and ask her about it.. If she know it too or even-"
"That's not the reason why we told you" said Ranpo as Dazai was abit confused as he quickly composed himself with a stiff smile.
"What do you mean?"
Fukuzawa handed Dazai a card who was confused with Fukuzawa frown present on his lips.
"Y/n was a close one even for me too... But perhaps in time she choose.... The port mafia boss Mori"
"...what kind of joke is this" muttered dazai as Fukuzawa nod.
"Either she is forc-"
"She have to be forced! Y/n- no mother never love Mori-san... And Mori-san value her for her ability.... We have to save Mother!" Said Dazai as he glance at Ranpo then Fukuzawa.
"Please... Since mother was close to you too, Save her from the marriage!"
"..." Fukuzawa let out a sighed as Ranpo side glance at the president and let out a chuckle.
"Seems... Like president gonna get another son beside me and I am getting a mother!" said Ranpo leading Fukuzawa to side glare at Ranpo with slightly flustered face as Dazai blink twice as his eyes widen in realisation.
"Even if... we save mother that doesn't mean I'm letting mother marry you!"
"...shut it concentrate on saving her from marriage first"
"Listen to your father, Dazai! And even Your older brother, me!"
"Ranpo/- San shut it"
"Now... you both are aiming me for nothing!"

Yule
Summary:
While snuggling by the Yule fire, you forget just how sensitive elf ears can be.
Pairing: Astarion/f!Reader Rating: E Word Count: 2.2k Tags/Warnings: post-game spoilers, cunnilingus, blood drinking, p in v sex, spawn!Astarion, soft!Astarion, fluff and smut, Astarion deserves to be bitten too
Read it on AO3.
Enough people said they'd still be interested in reading holiday-related fics even after the holidays, so here you go! Huge shout-outs to Idylla for their incredible art used in the banner. Their modern!Astarion absolutely ruins me.
Midwinter Nights: Yule | Christmas | New Year's Eve
Astarion curled against you as the Yule fire burned low in the hearth. You knew he wouldn’t be able to stay awake all night, despite his insistence to the contrary. It amused you even more because, as an elf, he didn’t really need to sleep. But he had grown so accustomed to it at this point, snuggling up with you each night as you got your mandatory eight hours, it was a harder habit to break.
You had only just put the most recent batch of cookies in the oven, but you were a little concerned for what would happen when you needed to take them out. Astarion was much like a cat in that way; if he climbed on top of you, it was a crime to disturb him. You could lay there forever, pinned beneath his weight, and you’d thank the gods for it.
You peered down at him, sleeping so peacefully. He almost looked like a cat, pointy ears occasionally flicking at the warm air that emanated from the fire. You could practically see his tail swishing contentedly. Ever since killing Cazador and reclaiming his freedom, he’d been so drawn to creature comforts, looking for softness and indulgence in all he could find.
You ran your fingers through his white curls, scratching his scalp absentmindedly. He shifted in his sleep, subconscious nudging him into your touch. You would sit here all night if you could, nails dancing over his pale skin while he slept soundly. You knew that eventually your timer would go off and you would need to take this latest batch of cookies out. But for now, at least, you could just enjoy having him pressed up against your side.
You stared into the fire as your hand wandered, gently stroking his back, his shoulders, his neck. You marveled at how much had changed in these past few months. Karlach and Wyll ventured to Avernus to fight on the front lines of the Blood War, and while you missed them, you knew you were only a ritual away from seeing them at the House of Hope. Gale had gone back to continue his studies in Waterdeep, and Lae’zel found herself living a surprising life of domestic bliss with Shadowheart, newly reunited with her parents. You haven’t heard much from Halsin, Jaheira, or Minsc, but you were certain that they were finding respite wherever they were.
As you’re getting lost in your thoughts, you stopped paying attention to where your hand flitted across Astarion’s skin; that is, until you heard a breathy moan escape his lips. You looked down and realized that you were running the tip of your pointer around the shell of his ear. You pulled away suddenly, embarrassed as you realized you were basically doing the elf equivalent of teasing his nipples. He whined at the sudden loss of contact, and you sat frozen, unsure if he was awake or not.
He stirred, legs squirming against a definitive bulge growing in his loose pants. He sat up and blinked sleepily, gears turning as he put together where he was. He turned to you and suddenly his eyes focused, pupils wide like a cat focused on its prey.
“If you wanted something, you could’ve just asked, you know,” he said in a low purr, and you could feel yourself clench in response to the fire his words stoked deep in your core.
“Sorry love, it was an accident,” you whispered, trying to sound cool but the crack in your voice gave you away.
“Accident or no, you’ve made your bed, so I hope you’re ready to lie in it,” he said with a grin, fangs glinting in the firelight. He launched himself onto you, kissing you roughly as he tangled his hands in your hair. You tried to regain your breath as you kissed him back, your hands scrambling for purchase on his clean linen shirt. Your body bent back with the weight of his as he shifted on top of you, prying your legs open with his knee. An unseemly moan escaped your lips as he pressed his hardness right up to the apex of your thighs. You ran your fingers through his hair, though whether it was to regain control or just hang on for dear life, you couldn’t tell.
Between the heat radiating from the fire, the slight delirium from staying up all night, and the way that your arousal for this man made your head swim, you could barely think straight. He continued to roll his hips into you obscenely, and you could feel the telltale dampness seeping into your small clothes. You spread your legs a little wider, trying to feel that delicious friction through the several layers of fabric that separated you.
You broke the kiss to take in a gulp of air, beginning to feel a bit lightheaded. His lips migrated to your neck, flicking the tip of his tongue along the puncture wound that had only recently closed up. A shudder surged through your body at the sensation and you squirmed involuntarily, your body urging you closer to his. You rolled your head away from him, presenting your neck as a silent offering as you had so many times before. He needed no further invitation and sunk his teeth into the sensitive flesh, your simultaneous groans of pleasure mingling together in your ears. You knew you were courting danger by letting him bite when you were already woozy, but it was worth the risk for the good it did you both. He always became a little more powerful, a little more dominant right after drinking your blood; for you, the feeling of him siphoning just a little of your life force away gave you an unmatched feeling of ecstasy.
He detached himself from your neck and looked down at you, panting. The sight of him post-feeding always sent you into a frenzy. His cheeks and ears uncharacteristically flushed, his bloody lips in a sedate half-smile, hair a tousled mess, and a wild look in his eyes like he was ready to devour you. You could only imagine what he saw in return; your hair splayed out beneath you, eyes glassy, mouth open in a suspended moan as blood trickled down your neck.
He ran a hand down the front of your blouse and you arched your back to meet his touch. He was still pressed between your legs, your knees hooked around his waist. He ran a finger along the waistband of your pants, causing you to whine needily.
“Tell me what it is you want, pet,” he purred, the predatory cat out in full force. Your hips bucked up against him as you grasped at the rug beneath you. He looked so gorgeous in the orangey firelight, his skin soft and glowy. You pawed wantonly at the hem of his shirt, any semblance of speech leaving your body. He grabbed your flailing wrists and pinned them above your head, bringing his lips within an inch of yours.
“Your words, love. Tell me what you want,” he growled, a little more forcefully than before, eliciting another desperate mewl.
“Ah- I.. Astarion,” you pled with him and he grinned, fangs pressing into your lips.
“Yes?” The word was a breathless whisper. He looked down the length of his nose at you, crimson eyes piercing into you.
“I want you to taste me,” you squeaked out, writhing beneath the hard length of his body. He pressed his lips to your ear just as he pressed his erection into your mound.
“Good girl,” he hissed, and pushed off your chest to slink downward to your hips. He grabbed your waistband and slid your pants down over your ass, dragging his cool hands across your heated skin. He pressed his lips into your hip and you arched into him, yearning to feel him on every inch of you. Your skin prickled from the heat of the fire, his contrasting touch making you shiver.
He traveled downward, each kiss pulling a new and more debaucherous sound from your throat. His lips hovered above yours and he relished in making you twitch with need. After a second of teasing that felt like an eternity, he swiped his tongue along your slit and you groaned in relief. He dug his fingers into your thighs as he gently lapped at your folds, making you feel more heated with each pass. He spread your lips apart with his dexterous fingers, tracing lazy shapes with the tip of his tongue.
Your fingers curled into his hair once more, hoping to regain control of your cantering hips. He pushed his tongue deeper into you and your breath grew ragged, your hips begging to fully fuck his face. He relented to your control, letting you grind on his lips and tongue to chase your own satisfaction. Your cries grew in tandem with the pressure that mounted in your core, and this time when your hands wandered to stroke his ears, it was intentional. He moaned into your cunt, a deep, primal sound that sent vibrations directly to your clit, sending you over the edge. He buried his face into you as you rode out the waves of your orgasm, thighs squeezing around his head.
He pulled away once the pulses had subsided and you delighted to see his disheveled face, your juices reflecting in the firelight. He roughly pulled you up onto his lap, pulling your still sensitive swell down hard onto his erection. You moaned into his lips, sharing the taste of you with him.
“You saucy little minx,” he growled even as you could feel his smile through the kiss. Your fingers fumbled at his waistband, desperate to free him and feel him inside you. He peeled your blouse over the top of his head just as you released his cock from his trousers, tip already glistening with precum. Your breath hitched at the sight of it, your pussy already aching to be filled.
The length of his cock teased your folds, and he cupped one of your breasts in his hand, the pad of his thumb skating over the pert nipple. You threw your head back, raising your tits up with a heaving breath just so he could latch on with his mouth, suckling gently. Your arms around his neck, you danced your fingers close to his ear, teasing him as much as you were asking him for more. He pulled off your nipple with a pop and stared red hot daggers into you.
“Careful love. Mess with the cat and get the claws,” he warned in a low and dangerous whisper. He raised your hips up and pulled you down in one fell stroke onto his stiffened cock. The cry he tore out of you was your most obscene yet, but you were already so wet and hungry for him that you slid down to his base without resistance.
You began to ride his dick, your knees pressing against the floor as he stretched you out with every thrust. Now it was his turn to toss his head back, leaving his pale throat open and vulnerable. You sunk your teeth into the cold flesh, your dull human incisors not actually piercing skin, but eliciting a delicious groan from him nonetheless. He kept his hands squarely on your hips as you bounced up and down, relishing the slide of him along your inner walls.
You wanted to see him lose himself in you. You wanted him to come undone like you were. You needed more of those breathy moans in your ear as he unleashed the predator within.
You nipped at his earlobe.
Almost as though an external force possessed his body, he slammed you down onto your back without pulling out of you. He pushed your knees up to your ears and pounded into you forcefully, the edge of your second orgasm rapidly approaching. Your tits bounced with the force of his thrusts, and it took everything in your power to keep your eyes open so you could watch him unravel above you. Sweat beaded on his forehead and his red eyes looked down on you, positively feral. You could see his fangs through the soft o-shape his mouth formed as he came, his orgasm sending you crashing into yours. You could still feel his cock throbbing inside you with each burst of his seed even as your vision slowly faded into black.
You awoke a few moments later curled up on some pillows and a cool washcloth laid across your forehead. Next to you was a glass of water which you gulped down eagerly.
Astarion came back into the room, face still looking deliciously flushed and bitten, with a small plate of cookies. He kneeled down next to you and held one up to your lips, and you accepted the snack without hesitation. He pulled the washcloth from your forehead and kissed your cool damp skin, his lips almost warm in comparison.
“Love, you can't scare me like that. I thought I fucked you into a coma. If you're feeling unwell, say something,” he said, red eyes full of concern. You wave it off with a shrug.
“What can I say? Maybe I like messing with the cat,” you respond with a giggle as you bite down on your cookie, teeth bared playfully.

teehee I have a small thought (batfam related, yk that one where y/n gets killed)
imagine if y/n was brought back by the pit, but instead of being a "shell" in that hc u made, she becomes completely stoic, like just blurts out what she was feeling back when she was neglected with the most blank expression ever, I imagine it being more focused on bruce and Damian since yk..bruce was the shittiest parent ever, and Damian with his sparky ass insults.
You…God, damnit Anon. You summoned me and I suddenly have the motivation to write after reading your two requests.
I don't know if you wanted a one-shot or HC. So I just went with a HC because it's much easier to push out. Though if you want me to make a one-shot feel free to ask. I'll take 7 years to write it. Though at the end I did sort of a one-shot.
Damian should have known something was wrong when y/n didn't start thrashing around and attacking anything that moved after crawling out of the pit. She just stared at her hands, clenching them into firsts and then unclenching them slowly.
Maybe Damian was too relieved to see y/n breathing and moving to really care. Maybe he thought that she was just in shock. Coming back to life isn't always expected and it can take a real toll on someone.
Not to mention that y/n was, compared to her brothers, far weaker. Not just physically, but mentally as well. So it's not surprising that she was so docile, right? It's only a matter of time before that effect wears off and she'll be normal. Or something close to normal.
Okay, maybe deep down Damian knew that there was a chance that he wasn't getting y/n back. Everyone knew that there was no getting her back, but he was willing to take the risk. He came this far and it didn't take long for Bruce to pick up on what his youngest was doing.
Damian has his big sister back and he's not going to let her go again. It's only a matter of hours before Bruce comes breaking down the door to drag them back to Gotham. So Damian took the time to clean up y/n.
She was still in her funeral clothes for goodness sake. She reeked of death, but that didn't stop the boy from hugging her tightly.
While getting cleaned up, she doesn't say a thing. Or even make a lot of noise. It was almost like she was still dead.
By the time Bruce gets there, he's not surprised by Damian's actions. He thought of doing the same thing, but he couldn't bring himself to do such a thing. He couldn't disrespect her life by bringing her back. How could he dare think of that when she looked so at peace when she died.
He remembers how her body was tense before it became horrifyingly relaxed. There was a fear of death in those [eye color] eyes, he knows because he saw it. But it was so quick and fleeting that he could have missed it if he wasn't so close.
In a twisted way he wished y/n had clung on to him just like she did when she was a wide eyed little girl and cried. Cry that she didn't want to die. Cry that it was too early to leave now. Cry that she didn't want to leave them.
But all she did was give a crooked smile and mumble to herself as blood dribbled down her chin. She spoke incoherent things to herself. A name or two slipped from her cold lips, but they weren't ones of her family. From what he gathered it was just a close friend and her significant other's name. She died thinking of those who cared and loved her back. Not of the family that she couldn't stand to be around.
Even when her own adopted father held her dying from close, they were far from her line of thought.
So seeing y/n alive was gut reaching for Bruce. There was no pain, anger, sadness, or joy on her face. She was just there. Staring at him with an uncomfortable indifference.
Damian was ready to start a fight with Bruce. Not a physical one, but he would cross that line if he needed to. He was ready to defend himself in what he thought was best for y/n. Yet Bruce lets out a quiet sigh and tells that it's time to come home. How anticlimactic.
The plane ride back to Gotham is long and quiet. It also felt cramped by how close Damian was to y/n and unwilling to give her too much space.
By the time they made it back to the manor, everyone was caught up to date. The development is surprising to some while others not so much.
Everyone is in the bat cave. Gathered around to see y/n back from the dead. The silence is deafening as they wait for something. Just something from her, but she walked past them all. Out of the cave and to where her room was. Nothing was out of place in her room, though it was mostly empty after she had moved out a few years ago. She laid on her bed and slept as if nothing was amiss.
That's where the family infighting starts. Question of was this the right thing. What are going to do now? Why the hell did you think this was a good idea? There's going to be a lot of hash words being shared, but at the end of the day what was done was done and they had y/n back. They weren't going to mess up the second time.
Did they really get a second chance because it didn't feel like it. A week would pass and y/n has yet to come out of her room. She's alive and breathing because the trays of food left outside her door are always empty.
The camera's installed while she slept showed that she was doing nothing. All she did was lay in bed. She'd get up to use her private bathroom, but other than that there wasn't much. She was rotting away alone in her room.
This rang familiar bells in Alfred, Bruce, and Tim's head. y/n wasn't prone to long depressive episodes, so this could be something similar. The lack of socializing and excessive oversleeping was typically a big red sign for them to do something. In the past they would not force, but push her into doing social things or at least being out of her room.
They could approach this situation the same way, but they'd have to be extra careful. This was a unique and tricky situation to be in. It was also odd if not worrying that she hasn't succumbed to lazarus fever.
They could try to bribe y/n out of her room with activities that have to do with her old hobbies.
"Alfred is baking today, he said might need some help."
"I just stole the keys to the batmobile, you wanna take it for a ride?"
"Hey, do you want to…um, play a video game with me. I remember we used to play Hellflight Deadcraze a lot. They came out with the 3rd game. I just bought it today, so...Yeah."
Though the likelihood of that working is low. If they're really desperate to interact with her, they might as well just bust down her door.
At some point all the poking and prodding is going to irritate y/n. Whoever popped her bubble is going to be on the receiving end of pent up emotions.
I don't believe y/n would ever intentionally say how much the family's treatment harmed her. Again it would bubble up and fester for a while before she explodes. The thing about y/n is that she has an inferiority complex. In her life she aimed to please and help.
She understands that Gotham is dangerous. A lot of people need help and she couldn't bring herself to pull them away from their job. To her it would be like pulling a fireman away from a fire to chat as people burned alive. Even if the fire was out the fireman would be tired and need to rest, so she couldn't just pull them wherever she wanted to go. She shouldn't pester them.
In y/n's eyes, she was never worthy of being a hero because she wasn't good enough. She was never worthy of being with the family because she wasn't helping enough. She should do this to prove her worth. She's not worthless because she can do this for you and this as well!
She embodies inferiority and self-loathing. Someone that feels insignificant and has the strong urge to do more. She has- or had in this situation, hope. Hope that she'll be worthy of love. Love, affection, praise is what drives her and will seek it out if she's desperate. If she does ask or seek it out she'll be feeling guilty since she didn't really do anything to get it. In her mind she was being greedy and she couldn't help herself.
Bonus
"Just stop. Leave me alone." Her voice was almost pleading as she gripped the wrapped gift box. The gift was a symbol of peace, almost a treaty. That's all it was supposed to be, but she acts as if she had been spat in the eye.
Seeing that Bruce wasn't listening to her, she dug her nails into the gift. Almost tearing into the [favorite color] wrapped paper. He stood before her like an unmoving entity. The longer he stood by the more she wanted to snap into herself. She didn't want to slowly curl into a ball. She wanted to snap herself together with a violent and almost sickening crack. This just wasn't fair.
Clenching her jaw, her voice became much colder. It wasn't as cold as the middle of winter, yet it still had a chill to it.
"I thought you'd get it that I didn't want this. I shut you out, but you- all of you just keep buzzing. None of you are getting the hint. You just keep coming back louder than before. Why can't you let me be alone? Why can't you act overworked and tired? Why can't you just leave things the way they were?"
Bruce was conflicted upon hearing her say that and would try to claim that everything is going to come around. Everything always comes around in the end and this wouldn't be any different. They are going to get through this as a family.
y/n's frown would deepen and her eyes would furrow at his attempt at comfort. She looks as if she just ate something that was expired, leaving her mouth with nothing but a nasty sour taste.
"Because we're family." She whispered to herself before almost grimacing at the words. Her voice became sharp and cold as a blade, "I don't understand why you'd suggest that was still a part of the family. I don't think I've been family for a good while now."
She clicked her tongue as she dropped the gift box while looking Bruce in the eyes. "Come on, you can't say you cared about me after I stopped being useful. When did you realize that I wasn't anything special? Was it when I kept crying about punching villains or when I was too slow to teach."
Seeing the conflicted look in his blue eyes confused her. Why would the truth conflict someone unless it was pity. Even after all this she's just a pitiful little crybaby to him. One good hit and she's out wailing on the floor for someone to kiss her boo-boo away.
Somehow this hurt her. Her pounding heart felt like it was twisting on itself. She wanted to cry and laugh at how she thought things couldn't get any worse. Then somehow it did. The universe, the world, the Wayne had proved her wrong yet again. It was as funny as it was sad.
She could have broken down there, but she needed to hear it. She had to hear the truth, so she kept twisting her heart with her own hands. It didn't matter how much it hurt.
"Or maybe you were in denial? You had wasted a lot of time and resources on a dud. Then Damian threw cold water on you and left you shivering, right? I'm just leeching off of you and the others. Then…Then you choose them over me. I was an afterthought, or is that being too generous? Did I ever circulate in your mind before this?"
Her voice was becoming shrill and gruff like she was on the verge of tears. "When did you realize that I was dead weight, Batman? Did I make Bruce Wayne look more caring to the people when I talk about how much I love my family? Did my life serve any use or was I always just a speck of dirt on your shoes?"
Those words were far from the truth, yet with how she spoke Bruce knew that she believed in all that she was saying. Each and every word was true to her. Honestly he didn't know what to say. This was all too much. Having to hear your own child degrade themselves with such honesty was heartbreaking.
Taking his silence as a sort of confirmation, y/n ordered him to leave and of course he did. He'd fix this somehow. He just needed time. They needed time.
I cut off the ending because I didn't want to write too much. Anyway I hope you enjoyed it. I haven't proofread this, Google Doc says there aren't any errors (probably a lie), and it's 3 in the morning. Goodnight.

Preachers daughter (one shot *maybe* )
⚠️: daddy!kink (a bit) innocence!kink, pinv, fingering,oral recieving and giving (m & f)
it was a summer afternoon, church was just starting. pearl, the preachers daughter, sat up front smiling proudly, while her father preached about the good lord. her mother sat next to her, pearl looked around. her eyes landing on Jessie's gang, she rolled her eyes turning around to face the front. she was trying to listen to her father when she felt eyes burning into her. she turned around, her red lips agape, as she's met with bluest eyes she's ever seen.
Billy the kid, of course. an outlaw, basically. he had a wild reputation, he'd never kill anyone but he has a reputation. a harlot reputation. every girl and mom had been with billy. pearl could never, she would never allow it.
"Amen!" voices interrupted her, as she turns around clapping and smiling with everyone else. she stood up with her family, her dress sticking to her as it was 90⁰ outside. it was 1982, and things were simple. pearl and her family lived the simple church life. she liked it that way, simple.
"pearl," her father's voice came into peer, she turned and grinned.
"wonderful speech, daddy," her country accent sweet like honey. billy loved your voice, he knew you sounded like honey so you had to taste like honey. billy cleared his throat taking off his hat as he stood behind the family.
"hello.. young man," pearls father tight lipped smile, glared at billy. he didn't care, he knew what people thought.
Billy's hat was in his hands as he was showing respect, pearl smiled to herself behind her family.
"I've heard you need help on your farm, sir," Billy's gruff Texas accent played like a melody in her ears. she gulped, as she felt chills on the hottest day she's felt in awhile.
"well, uh, I don't know-" her father began.
"sir, I'm a hardworker and I can do anything you need, pay me or don't." Billy's pleaded, his voice trying to not sound desperate. truth was he needed work, he needed to take care of his own self too. he needed to eat.
pearl was outside, on the porch watching Billy front a distance as he was shoveling hay. she watched his back, his tall broad frame yet skinny waist. he was strong, his muscles flexed, and he threw his head back taking off his hat and wiping his forehead.
pearl got an idea. she'd bring him water.
pearl walked out in a small white dress, nothing underneath of course, too hot for all that. her parents were already asleep, she felt bad but was so curious at the same time. she walked feeling the soft grass between her toes under her small feet, holding a jug of water. she felt so nervous, she hadn't talked to a lot of boys before, if so they were related due to her father.
she peered into the barn seeing billy, shirtless this time, sitting on the hay wiping his forehead again.
"y'know it's rude to stare," his voice caused her eyes to bug out of her head. she gulped before saying,
"well, you need water," she stated, quietly feeling nervous now. he stood up over her, and stared down at her, he smirked at her nervousness before grabbing the jug outta her hand and drinking while making eyecontact with her. he watched her shake, he almost laughed. so innocent, he thought. he wanted to see her shake in another way.
"thank you, maam," he handed the water back to her, she gulped nodding not making eye contact. billy noticed this.
"why won't you look at me ?" his voice low, causing a feeling to arise in her in her lower belly. she'd never felt that before.
"well, my momma said if I ever so much as look at a man they'll take advantage of me," pearl said, quietly. billy nodded, taking it in.
"well, I would never take advantage of such a pretty girl," his accent thick, and low now.
pearl gulped stepping back, looking at his naked large chest then back to his eyes then anywhere else. billy liked how innocent she was, how she wouldn't look into his eyes, he craved that.
*
pearl was cleaning up after the service. billy walked by and looked in the stained windows, seeing pearl bent over, he caught a view of her panties. her whole ass was out, and she didn't even notice or so he thought. he decided to walk in when she walked away, he locked the door behind him, quietly. she walked back into the room, she jumped seeing billy.
"h-hi william," she coughed, smoothing down her dress.
"hi, honey," his accent heavy, she shivered when he said that. she shook off her thoughts before asking a question.
"why are you here?" she asked, unsure. billy smiled at her.
"to see my favorite girl of course," pearl looked away, and continued to pick up every Bible.
"I don't think she's here, try again later. normally harlots don't go to church." pearl sneered at him, flipping her long dark hair over her shoulders.
"oh but she is," he stepped towards her, too close, she thought. she gulped, looking away continuing on grabbing every Bible.
"she wears little dresses, never a bra, and always wears the most innocent looking panties. but I know she could be my harlot if I touched her in the right place. would you like that, honey?" his accent low, and rough.
her mouth fell open, she was feeling something she felt the other night. her lower stomach bubbling in heat, a wetness poured in her panties.
billy noticed her silence and her reaction, she looked so small and innocent. he stepped forward, brushing a few hair behind her ear. her bright green eyes staring back. he leaned in and pressed a small kiss to her lips.
she was surprised and pulled back. his eyes darker and his lips fuller now.
she gasped at the sight of him, he was so beautiful.
"have you ever touched yourself before?" his southern accent breaking the silence.
"um no," pearl said, quietly. her cheeks reddened by now, she was biting her lip.
"may i?" he asked her, peering into her eyes.
pearl reluctantly nodded her head, billy picked up pearl like she weighed nothing.
"wrap your legs around me, dollface," and she did. he carried her to the priests office, shutting and locking the door then laying pearl down on the desk. her body lay there, as she anxiously waited, billy threw everything on the floor turning her body so it's long ways.
"billy, I've never done this before," she sat up on her elbows, hair a mess and her strap falling off her shoulder. billy laughed as he took off his belt and vest. he had lost his hat a bit ago, his hair had grown so much.
"baby, I know what you have and haven't done. I still wanna take care of ya," he leaned down between her thighs. she was soaked, she was so embarrassed, she tried closing her legs.
"let me taste you," he mumbled into her, before taking a long wet stripe to her wet patch on her panties. she moaned out, her hands fitting her dress. he pushed up her short dress more, exposing all of her.
"that feels nice," she said, not even realizing what was going on. billy smirked, pulling her white wet panties down her thighs. once they were gone, he pushed her legs up on the desk spreading her all the way open.
billy gasped, she was dripping. literally honey, he thought. he dove right in, no warning. licking her clit, she screamed out. his tongue playing with her clit, slowly.
"oh my-" she breathed out, whimpering. billy smirked to himself before speeding up, his tongue doing soft but fast. a feeling way coming up, she felt like she had to pee. she was a moaning whimpering mess.
"my messy baby, your pussy is soaking. can't wait to feel you around me. " he grumbled into her, she cried out as he took in all her juices, not missing any.
"feel good baby?" he sat her up, she lazily sat up. her hair falling behind her.
"take your dress off baby," she obliged, tiredly. billy smirked watching her as he unbuttoned his button up, and pulled down his pants. her dress was off as she watched him, she looked down and gasped.
"big, ain't it? sometimes the ladies call me billy the man," he laughed, "too bad, I only want you to call me that," he winked at pearl.
"I bet you say that to all the girls," pearl mumbled, looking down away from his gaze. two fingers lifted her head, their eyes met.
"I wouldn't lie to you, honey," he mumbled planting a kiss on her forehead, "now lay back and let daddy do his thing,"
she laid back, his large fingers rubbed her clit in circles. she was seeing stars, she was a whimpering messy little girl and billy loved it.
"billy,-" she breathed out, eyes rolling in the back of her head.
"baby, im gonna try somethin'" suddenly two finger plunged into her, his large fingers giving her a filling feeling. his fingers curled, causing this feeling to happen. billy continued, adding another finger. he finger fucked her, hard.
"daddy," she moaned, billy had to hold back his moan.
"fuck it," he mumbled, grabbing his hardened member spitting on it while rubbing in his precum. while pearl was in her own euphoric world, he played with her small bud rubbing in circles with his thumb.
he placed himself at her entrance, before pushing in slowly. inch by inch by inch, she could feel herself expanding around his large member. the farther he got in the more she wanted more, he pulled all the way out before sliding all the way back in hard. she cried out, he wrapped his toned arms around her back pulling her up, before slamming his hips into hers multiple times.
"fuck bi-daddy," she cursed as he fucked her roughly. rough sex was Billy's favorite and most girls liked it because his big cock.
billy moaned as he fucked her, their hips meeting, he pulled her into a messy kiss. he stuck his tongue in her mouth, she could taste herself. she sucked on his tongue causing this animalistic sound to come out of billy. he pulled away, before pulling her out and flipping her over so she was bent over the desk.
"such a pretty pink pussy baby, can't wait to destroy it," he spit on his cock, jerking it a few times before sliding into her wet hole.
she moaned, billy went in so deeply he could feel her cream on his cock. he grunted, her ass jiggling against him. he reached for her long hair pulling her back so she could look at him as billy was filling her up.
"fuck," she cried out as he plunged into her, billy was turned on, she was his bad girl. he wanted that, he wanted to turn her and he did.
"preachers daughter my ass," he only went harder, she clenched around him crying out. tears staining her pretty pink cheeks.
"you my dirty whore? huh?" billy grunted, pulling her head back more.
"oh my God yes daddy, I'm your dirty whore," she cried out, Cumming again on his cock.
billy was close, he became sloppy yet hard still. he wanted to cum on her back, he wanted to see the cum on her.
"fuck, honey, I'm close," he breathed, letting go of her hair, moving to her lips.
"daddy fuck, don't stop," they moaned together before billy pulled out and finished on her back.
pearl was out of breath, and sore. extremely sore, there was a liquid pouring down her legs. she looked around for billy, he wasn't there. she began to feel used, upset.
billy came walking in, his thermals on and a rag in his hand, she felt much relief.
"lemme take care of this mess baby," he smiled at her, she nodded grinning biting her lip as he wiped her and him clean.
"I'd like to see you again, doll," he smirked, she bit her lip hiding a grin slipping on her dress. she picked her panties off the ground, handing them to billy.
"keep these", she whispered before asking, " you workin today?"
billy smirked getting dressed, before looking at her .
"oh I'm workin' today darlin. I'll take ya home, and we can continue, if you'd like of course." billy said, smooth but sweetly.
"sure, daddy,"
she stopped calling her dad, daddy so dw no one will be confused or weirded out.

Who's the ghoul? [HTP;4 SPOILERS!]
Alright so Hunter the Parenting Episode 4 has been out for a bit. If you haven't watched Hunter the Parenting and are just seeing this for whatever reason like coincidence or following me... WATCH IT! I assure you it's worth it it's all on Youtube its great come on don't get spoiled here. Seriously SPOILERS FOR BASICALLY EVERYTHING IN EPISODE 4
Tumblr media
Alright hopefully everyone who hasn't watched it is out of here and now watching it. We can start by establishing the suspects.
Tumblr media
Now for what I hope are obvious reasons we can rule out every member of the D family. Door and Boy aren't even here anyway. As such our current list of possible suspects is;
Upper Management Occam Blacklaw Sr. Gloria Waters Wernon
Security Brock Spit Giles
Cleaners Amanda Matilda Students Elise Grimal Harry
Now who else can we rule out for sure? 1. Occam can be ruled out. He's the chapter leader and if he was the ghoul for whatever reason the information would already be out. Plus Occam is already a mage or sorcerer of some sort so I doubt he'd get trapped into becoming a Ghoul. 2. Blacklaw Sr. can be ruled out. While he has keys to whole building we knew exactly where he was the entire time the crimes were being committed. Alright so then who can we rule out based on intuition? 1. Harry was with Markus for most of the time so it likely isn't him. 2. Elise, While Big D did interrogate her first I feel like he would've had some more suspicion if he genuinely believed her to be the ghoul. As such we can shorten the list to the following;
Upper Management Gloria Wernon
Security Brock Spit Giles
Cleaners Amanda Matilda Students Grimal Now we can look at where everyone was known to be while Occam was in the vault.
Tumblr media
During this time the ones left unaccounted for are Elise, Big D, Wernon, Gloria, Grimal, Occam (duh), Spit, and the Cleaners. For obvious reasons we can ignore Elise and Big D as we've ruled them out as suspects. Now we can also rule out Giles and Brock from the list as during the time Occam was attacked they were both accounted for. HOWEVER I want to talk about brock for a moment. While I doubt Brock is the ghoul there is a moment near the end of the episode I want to bring attention to. While Markus and Co are saving Grimal from being tortured, D absolutely rocks Brock to the point he gets slammed into a wall. Yet Brock gets up with very little damage and continues to brawl. This is very interesting as Brock is apparently stronger than Blacklaw. This could be ghoul strength but I doubt it since Brock is a VERY big guy. Also about Giles, We know his boss at the 99p store is related to the vampires. Either she's a vampire or just a ghoul I'm not 100% sure. So Giles would have the connections to become a ghoul however having multiple ghouls working at the same 99p store seems like a waste of resources. So I doubt he's the ghoul. So now our suspect list is;
Upper Management Gloria Wernon
Security Spit
Cleaners Amanda Matilda Students Grimal Now that we've narrowed down the list of suspects I doubt that the either of the Cleaners end up being the ghoul as while both would be fairly easy to get in the building they lack any real clearance to get into the archives. As such they would be little strategical use outside of minor surveillance. Additionally they have no way to gain access to the Archives. Now ime to talk about that final scene. Wernon being killed at the end of the episode is very interesting as it acts in contradiction to what happened to Occam. Occam was just knocked out but Wernon was EVICERATED yet Wernon is a much lower priority target than Occam. Now I doubt Spit is the ghoul because again how would he have access to the Archives. However I do think Spit is the one who killed Wernon. Perhaps Spit is a Werewolf or other weird being as they were very specifically pointed out as killing machines in the episode where Big-D tells Kitten about some stuff. At the very beginning of the episode we can see the moon is full.
Tumblr media
The lighting is a bit weird in these early scenes as outside is very red and orange but in other scenes we can see the moon and it's detailing a bit better so this is certainly the moon. As such the circumstances exist for Spit to turn into a Werewolf and flip the fuck out. Given the fact Spit is absolutely losing it I doubt he did it intentionally either. That answers the question of what happened to Wernon, what about the ghoul. Currently these are the possibilities as I see them; 1. Wernon was the ghoul. He had the means to get into the Archives and attack Occam. He's advancing in age so becoming a Ghoul might help with that slightly which would supply a motive. If he brought Spit off to deal with him, then spit flipping out in self defense would continue to track with him being a possible werewolf. 2. Grimel is the ghoul. Grimel was acting a bit weird the entire episode and during the start when the ghoul was announced she looked very uncomfortable. Additionally she's spent a majority of the episode away from the rest of the group and was missing while Occam was attacked. When she was being "interrogated" by blacklaw she doesn't actually say she isn't the ghoul she changes the subject. However this again could be coincidence as she saw Amanda get fried. Additionally there is the issue of her not having access to the archives. 3. Gloria is the ghoul. This one I think is the least likely. The only real evidence for this is that she was willing to so quickly take control of the situation when Occam was passed out. Currently the odds as I see them are Wernon; 40% Grimel; 30% Gloria; 10% Anyone else; 20% However if it is Wernon that raises the question, What will the rest of this arc be about? If the ghoul is dead then the rest of the arc would have to be about sorting shit out and kinda loosing it at eachother. But again that seems weird right? Killing the culprit off? So I guess my final guess is; Grimal (MAYBE Wernon) is the ghoul Spit is a werewolf (or similar creature) Matilda is going to be important somehow

Platonic Yandere Sully Family x human reader Concept.
Tumblr media
I've wanted to write for the sully family for so long, but never got the opportunity because I couldn't see the movie. Now that I have, here are some headcanons. Also please request for Avatar in the future, I won't shut up about it. (Let's just pretend no one dies okay!)
For context, you're younger than Neteyam, Lo'ak, and Kiri, but younger than Tuk. I couldn't find official ages for them, so I had to guess, sorry.
You were like Spider, a human who was left on Pandora after the sky people were force out. Since you were young at the time, you were unable to be sent back to earth, and were given the privilege of living on what's left of the research bases near the Omaticaya clan. I won't go into the details of your parents, but I can another time.
Unlike Spider, as you grew, you preferred to say away from the Na'vi. Not because you thought they were savages like the sky people wanted you to believe, you were smarter than that. You were just...shy. You preferred to say in your little bunker, by yourself, away from the unfamiliar land of Pandora.
However, Eywa had other plans.
It started with Spider, who thought it would be really cool, and definitely not annoying, to bring the Sully kids around the research base. You and spider were not friends, a least, that what you thought. Spider thought you were great, since you were really the only human he could really relate to. You were also left on this unfamiliar land, by yourself, with a bunch of nerds to take care of you. You and Spider were much closer when you were younger, but as you aged, you went separate ways, Spider running headfirst towards Pandora, while you remained stagnant.
Anyway, when Spider would bring Lo'ak and Kiri around, you would hide off in your corner, alone. You didn't want to talk with them, occupying yourself with "homework" that the other scientists would give you, most of which would consist of history on the Na'vi or even earth itself, which you didn't spend a lot of time on.
When you weren't able to escape the Sully children, you were forced to spend time with them. Lo'ak was extremely interested in you, since you knew a lot about the Na'vi and its culture, but never spent any of your time outside the research base. He thought you were strange, but if he was being honest, it was something he liked about you. After a while, he started treating you like a sibling and would encourage you to explore Pandora with him and Spider.
Kiri loved you. You both shared a sort of standoffish nature, and she felt like you could relate to her like no one else could. She liked learning about humans from you and loves watching videos of her mother with you. Often, when she if fighting with her siblings, she'll come to you and rant about them to you. This will last for a while.
As time went on, your relationship with the two Navi grew. However, they both grew frustrated with your reluctance to leave the base. They didn't understand, Pandora is a beautiful place, and with them, you'll be safe. They wanted you to meet their family, since they already saw you as a part of it.
They didn't understand that your reluctance came from their parents. You knew how strong Jake Sully is, how strong Toruk Makto is, and you really didn't want him to know that his children were hanging out with a 'demon'. Neytiri scared you the most though. Humans destroyed her land, her home, and killed her family. You knew she did not like Spider, so why would she like you?
With much corrosion an oxygeen mask was put on you and you were let into Pandora. Honesty, you were like a small child seeing new colors for the first time. It was great seeing all the plants and animals that you've only read about in notes.
Kiri and Lo'ak introduced you to Tuk and Neteyam before introducing you to their parents. They have both already heard of you before your meeting, and while Tuk was excited to meet you, Neteyam was less so. Tuk being just 8 was excited about everything, but oh loud does she love you. She loves to play with you, and like Kiri she loves stories about humans. Sometimes you sneak her game consoles so you can play with her. Overall, she just loves spending time with you.
Neteyam knows that spending time with you is wrong, especially since his parents wouldn't approve of it. However, he just can't help but view you as another sibling in need of his protection. He's usually the one who take you to and from the base, since he's the one most concerned with your safety. He's also the one that helps you with your Na'vi. While he tells you it because you sound like a baby talking for the first time, it really so that his parents will like you better when you meet them.
The kids all have a secret understanding that you in fact, are their sibling. They don't care if you're human, a demon. They believe that you were meant to be a part of their family, and that Eywa drove them to you, so you could all be together. Even though, they knew at least one of their parents would never fully accept you. So, they planned on keeping you a secret for a while. Emphasis on planned. Because they were not prepared for Tuk going on a playful rant about her "super cool human friend who showed her cool toys and read her cool stories." Lo'ak tried to shut her up, but it was no use, because the moment Neytiri heard the word 'human' she was furious, forbidding them from meeting with you again. In an instant, Tuk was crying, Kiri was freaking, her and Lo'ak swearing that you were harmless and just a kid. When Neteyam started defending you was when Jake decided enough was enough and he would go meet you himself and decide whether or not you were fit to be around his children. Neytiri was upset, accusing him of taking the side of a demon, but when she was reminded of her mate's demon heritage, she cooled down a bit.
Jake didn't expect much from you. He expected you to be just like Spider, a child meddling in a culture he understood nothing about. However, when he did finally meet you one day at the research base you called home, he realized how wrong he was. You were like Spider in the curiosity department; however, you didn't take any interest in assimilating with the Na'vi. In fact, you were most interested in the idealist version of Earth the scientist fed to you. It took a while for you to warm up to him, however when you did talk to him, it was almost always questions about Earth, and as he got to know you, he didn't have the heart to tell you the truth about the status of Earth, neither did any of the scientists.
As Jake got to know you, he started to view you as his child. Much to the annoyance of Neytiri and the excitement of his children, he started bringing you around more often. He couldn't deny the since of fatherly love that would fill him when he saw your shy façade break and goof around with his children. Knowingly or not, he was trying to assimilate you into his family. You started spending less and less time with the researchers and more time with the Sullys. Soon, Jake unknowingly became a part of the plan to make you an actual Sully.
The one roadblock in that plan was Neytiri. She firmly believed you were an outsider, a demon, and that you would never be a part of her family. It didn't matter how much time you spent with them; your time was always cut short by Neytiri demanding you to go home. It even got to the point where Neytiri was threatening you to stay away from her children. Her behavior caused you to spend less and less time with the Sully's, and while Neytiri was happy, if eventually caused a fight between her and Jake. Jake said you were a child and needed their protection, while Neytiri claimed that it wasn't their business.
Due to her children, and mates, stubbornness, your presents was common, even if Neytiri didn't like it. Jake suggested that she try and bond with you, and while she barely knew what that met, she attempted for him. She would request your help while preparing meals or assisting with basic task. While it took a while, you began to warm on her. It wasn't until a minor attack by a wild animal where you were barely harmed that Neytiri realized how much you mattered to her. She viewed you as a baby, and eventually agreed that you were safer with them.
(This got too long, so expect a part two soon. Also please request for Avatar I'm obsessed.)

why i love aziraphale and why i find his character so heartbreaking
So I made a post on why I relate to Crowley and I adore him, obviously. I think a few you misunderstood what I meant there, though (which is understandable, I was a bit incoherent but that is inevitable on this blog). I wasn't saying Aziraphale didn't care about Crowley or was horrible to him, rather the opposite.
What I was saying was maybe Crowley felt unloved against his better judgement, because he knows he is loved by Aziraphale, but maybe everything he has been through has started to chip away at that knowledge. It's happened to me, I'm sure it's happened to a few of you. You are assured that you are loved, you can see them doing things for you, but you feel unloved. Maybe because of the other people who don't love you. Maybe because... you don't love yourself.
But I definitely wasn't putting down Aziraphale, who is a beautiful character. I adore him. I love how every single second, all his emotions are on his face. That's actually how I realised they'd switched bodies--in heaven, 'Aziraphale' had a cool, dismissive look on his face. That could only be Crowley, I knew, because Crowley is a bit better (not a lot, not around Azi of course) at masking his emotions.
That's what's so beautiful about Azi, we can just see how much he feels, how much he adores Crowley, how much hope he had, how much faith in Heaven, how much determination to do the right thing. How determined he is to keep Crowley safe, to make Crowley smile and laugh, and how much it kills him every time he has to push Crowley away for both of their sakes, or he thinks he has to. You both want to protect that optimism and faith, and also shake him and tell him the truth. But how do we know better than him, a 6000 year old angel? There's so much that we don't know, that may have happened behind the scenes, that's orchestrating his decisions.
Some of you are certain that there is more, that he doesn't still believe that what Heaven offers is genuine, because how could he? I'm also sure that there is more, but can I also offer an alternate idea? Even if there wasn't more, maybe he isn't to blame if he did continue to believe in Heaven's goodness.
We've been in toxic relationships. With friends, partners, family. I know how hard it is to accept that something you love is not worthy of that love. Something you admired is something flawed. Something you would do anything to keep is something you need to push away.
The worst of all, of course, is that time, somewhere in our childhood or teens or adulthood, when a lot of us realise our parent or parents are not heroes. That we don't agree with them. That they were wrong about a lot of things. Because they taught us everything, they were our guides, how could they be wrong? And if we can't believe in them, then what are we supposed to believe in?
Maybe Aziraphale is going through that journey, over all those millennia. Some of us are forced to realise it before we even turn ten, some of us haven't realised it yet, some of us may not ever or may not need to.
Maybe Aziraphale is just a child of God, realising that Heaven, his technical family, is not the Good that not only they but the entire world believes them to be. Everyone says Heaven is good, including a lot of Hell, including a lot of humankind, it's just given. What is Heavenly is good. And Aziraphale wants to be good.
But he's going through that painful journey of realising that good may not be what he was taught, that good comes in many shades and tints and hues. And we can see him do it, we can see him defy Heaven and God, for Crowley or for humans or for himself. He's doing it, and we need to see how it isn't easy for him. Having your entire system of belief deconstructed is painful and awful. And if you were wrong once, how do you know you won't be the next time?
It's hard enough for Crowley, torn between whether he was unworthy or whether Heaven was wrong. Imagine the tumult that Aziraphale goes through, because if Heaven accepts him and Heaven isn't always good, does that mean Aziraphale has been doing it all wrong all his life?
He's going through something that we all go through, and is every bit as relatable as Crowley is. I love them both so much. I'm so glad that there's a third season, to see how that arc closes, to see if maybe they find the answers we're all looking for.
@adverbian and @howmanyholesinswisscheese, I hope this helps? Again, I haven't watched season 2 yet and have a horrible memory since I've been watching season 1 heavily medicated, so this is just from what I know and can tell and headcanon, perhaps.

Tumblr media
konig's promise of taking you away at any moment you asked him weighed on you for weeks. the more you grew attached to him, the harder it was to hide your relations with him. you couldn't exactly go on proper dates in his cold, dark room in the castle basement. he couldn't take you on picnics, take you on carriage rides, or anything that any normal couple would do. you weren't a normal couple. you were a princess, and he an executioner. you two were never supposed to even speak with one another.
the one thing, the one romantic thing that you could do in his room, was dance with him. konig didn't know how to dance. he only knew the dance of an axe over the chopping block and how to sharpen its edges with stone. he was hesitant at first, but loved how close to you he could be. he was quite clumsy, and he'd frequently step on your toes every now and then. but each time he did it, you smiled.
"it's okay, konig. you'll get the hang of it," you'd say as you smiled up at him sweetly. he would quietly nod and furrow his brow in concentration as he danced with you.
his hand would be so gently laid on your waist, and his large hand on your shoulder grounded you and kept you in the moment. it didn't matter what mean thing your sisters had said to you, or the fact that you couldn't care less about your provincial duties. when you were with konig, when he was touching you, you were there, and that was all you knew.
but his hood always remained on. you asked him, once, if you could see his face, and all he answered with was a quiet "no" and you never broached the subject again.
...
"konig," you said to him after you two had danced and then made love. truly, made love. it was so soft, and he pressed so many kisses on your neck and boobs and back. konig always grew a little soft after you two danced.
"ja, liebe?" he asked as he gently stroked your hair.
"do...do you think we could...leave, soon?" you whispered as you gently balled up your fist.
his hand stopped in your hair for a moment, but he quickly resumed his gentle caresses. he breathed deeply. "it's as i said. say the word, and we go."
"i...i want to go soon, konig. i don't know where. just far from here."
"how soon?" he asked.
"next week," you said before he could even finish his question. this had been on your mind for so long. konig changed you, the night he asked what you would do if you weren't a princess. you'd been fantasizing about having your own cottage with him, being able to garden and tend to your animals everyday while he was a blacksmith, maybe, or a mercenary. the cathedral ceilings and polished dinner plates of your castle no longer appealed to you.
konig kept caressing your hair. "and how far?"
you gulped. "could we...leave the country? just go to a neighboring one. right near the border."
konig thought for a moment. "ja, we can. i know of a village just beyond the mountains. you will like it. i will build a house for you."
you smiled against his bare chest. "i'll build it with you, konig."
he shook his head gently as he squeezed you. "nein. i will build a house for you, by myself."
"if you insist," you said as you pressed a gentle kiss to his chest. "a house for us, konig. us."
konig was silent for a little while. you were growing worried, but he finally replied. "a house for us, meine Engel. i will build a house for us."
"i've already begun to stow away some of my savings," you whispered as if you feared the stone walls had ears. "we will be set for life."
"do not worry about that, Engel," konig said confidently. "i will take care of you."
"i know you will," you said gently. "but you'll be giving up your profession for me. i want to repay you in anyway that i can."
"there is no need for that," he said quietly as he held you closer. "you are worth more to me than all the riches in the world."
your heart fluttered as you closed your eyes and relaxed against him. your cheeks grew warm and you smiled.
"i love you, konig," you whispered as if it were the most normal thing in the world to say. once you processed what you just said, your eyes shot open, but your face stayed glued to his chest so that he couldn't see. you held your breath.
"and I love you, meine schatz," he said as he gently pressed a kiss to your head through his hood. you looked up at him with gleaming eyes, and he lifted his hood up slightly to kiss you.
you made love again that night. the words that had lingered in silence for so long had finally been spoken. he put you in missionary, focused entirely on your face as he filled you so gently yet so fully. his hard, smooth cock dragged slowly along your slick walls, and you moaned into his mouth as he kissed you.
"i will do anything for you, Engel," he rasped into your ear as he filled you. "i will take care of you."
"konig!" you moaned. you looked up at him, cock-drunk and in love. "i'm yours. i'm yours." a few tears escaped your eyes.
you kissed him again, and your fate with him was sealed.
...
a few days had passed since that night. the day you and konig were planning to run away was quickly approaching. you had packed a few things in a spare backpack, including the trinkets he gave you through the course of your relationship. you hid the gold entitled to you interspersed through socks and underwear in your backpack. you looked out the window of your bedroom out over the castle grounds, and felt resolved. you were ready to leave this life behind, and just be. with konig.
you got dressed in your room as normal, and made your way down to the banquet hall for breakfast. but when you reached the banquet hall, you found three of your sisters shouting to your parents. your other sisters sat as still as statues at the dining table. all heads turned towards you as you stepped in.
"what's going on?" you asked nervously.
"you harlot!" one of your sisters exclaimed. your mother and father looked like they had seen a ghost. you looked around, and the room was spinning.
"you've been sleeping with the executioner!" another sister yelled as she held up a black executioner's hood. that was one of konig's gifts to you, and you thought it would be kept it safe in your bedside table.
"you went in my room!?" you yelled.
"guards! get the executioner at once!" your father yelled. time began to move slowly. your sisters were screaming, the guards' metal armor clinked and clacked as they ran down to search for the executioner, your mother hugged you tightly in fear. but all you could think, the one thing that managed to keep you grounded in the ensuing chaos, was konig.
you thrashed out of your mother's embrace and ran faster than you ever had in your life to find him. the guards could run, but not as fast as you in their armor. you ran to the only place he would be at this time in the morning.
you burst through the castle doors and ran, panting, up to konig, who was sharpening his axe in the blacksmith's hut. he looked up at you happily at first, but his expression changed when he saw the tears flowing from your eyes.
"konig! konig! they know! they know!" you yelled as you panted. konig looked over you and saw half a dozen guards running towards him with swords drawn.
you looked up at him, your eyes wet and puffy, your dress wrinkled and heels broken.
"come," he said as he picked you up in one motion. you yelped, but held onto him as he ran towards the stables. the alarm bell was ringing in the castle as all guards now saw the executioner running off carrying a princess towards the only escape. your siblings and parents watched from the great porch with horrified expressions.
"i'm so sorry konig," you cried into his shoulder as he ran.
"shh, shh," he soothed between breaths. "i told you i would take care of you, didn't i?"
you nodded and gently squeezed him. you finally reached the stables, which had been unattended momentarily during the chase, and konig threw you on top of the biggest horse before putting on its bridle and getting on in front of you. there was no time to put on a saddle.
"hold on, Engel!" he yelled before smacking the reins against the horse's neck. you held onto his hard, tree-like torso as he kicked the horse with his heels, and it shot off through the stables. the guards that had made it to the stable doors were swept back as your horse sprinted through.
you looked behind and saw that there were now three mounted guards following you. "konig!"
he spurred the horse on faster, but the main castle grounds gate was already closed. "hold on, this will be bumpy!" konig yelled. he sharply turned the horse around and you flew over the castle grounds as he guided the horse towards the hidden exit behind the grounds, past the gardens. the guards' horses were fast, but no match for the bestial horse konig had chosen.
you buried your face in his back as the wind whipped by you and the ground rolled under your feet like waves. the alarm bells sounded louder over the grounds as panic rose, echoing against the stone walls of the castle, and screaming could be heard from servants out in the fields as you passed.
your horse jumped over the hedge at the edge of the grounds, the guards far behind, and you fled with konig through uncharted wilderness with nothing but the clothes on your backs.

Billy Batson related question, as always! How do you think the League would react to Black Adam knowing who the Captain is, especially when they don’t even know? (The relationship between Billy and Teth doesn’t matter, they could be allies or enemies).
Billy Batson related questions are my personal favorites!
The idea of the Justice League not knowing who Captain Marvel's secret identity is always makes me giggle :D it's the layer of mystery and unknown danger that presents itself behind not knowing who the Big Red Cheese is that keeps them on edge sometimes. They admire their friend, but sometimes they do wonder, are they his friend? What is he? An alien? A human? A monster beneath the disguise of a man? Three kobolds in a trenchcoat? Nobody knows... They do wish to get to know their friend better.
Normally, most league members have their secret identities kept, you know, a secret. With the exception that Batman knows, of course. However, even he remains stumped on this mystery. He doesn't enjoy not knowing who Captain Marvel is behind the boy scout smile he often shines, but Batman is determined to find out one day. There's almost some respect for how well the Captain manages to hide his identity and tracks.
Meanwhile, Billy is surprised he's lasted this long with a secret identity. He's working with a braincell, half an oreo cookie, and a dream.
I got sidetracked, ack! Okay, so the relationship (depending on which version of Captain Marvel and Black Adam you are familiar with) is almost always going to be personal. There's their shared relationship with the wizard Shazam, but the one I'm most familiar with and enjoy is Black Adam being the one to have killed Billy's parents. (Also, I appreciate you separating the identity of Black Adam and Teth!)
It would be absolutely amazing and gutwrenching to see Captain Marvel shake hands with a "reformed" Black Adam, possibly during a public setting with the JL in attendance, fully knowing the truth behind his parents murders and still going through with the painful decision to let him go unpunished.
For Billy, this hurts. On a deep level that scars his heart and soul for allowing his parents deaths to go unavenged. For the years of pain, he spent alone on the streets homeless and separated from his twin sister, none of it can be fully healed no matter how hard he tries to forget. Scars fade over time, but to Billy, time is eternity. This pain will follow him for eternity.
However, as Captain Marvel, he understands that there's more to the situation that he can't control, and fighting Black Adam would only make things worse. With the wisdom of Solomon, he knows he can't justify a fight against the ruler of a nation, no matter what. So he just smiles for the camera and shakes the hand of the man who orphaned him.
It is through holding Black Adam's hand that the thought passes through his mind: the hand he's holding right now was once stained with the blood of his parents.
Then, the heroes are given a moment of privacy to be around each other without the public's eyes or ears to interfere, and that's when **** hits the fan.
Captain Marvel is avoiding Black Adam, understandably, but when Black Adam loudly calls out his name among the other heroes, Billy can't help but feel rage boil inside his divine blood.
"William. I thought you knew better than to ignore others when they're trying to talk to you. Such rudeness, I am most glad your parents were not the ones to raise such behavior in you."
Whispers among the league ensues. Was that the Captain's name? Did Black Adam know Captain Marvel on a personal level rather than just a regular hero and nemesis level? Despite the eyes watching them, waiting and prepared to step in case of a fight, the Captain grits his teeth and, through miserable eyes of a broken man, chooses to smile.
"Yeah, they really were good people, Adam. I may not live up to their expectations, but I do live for them. Every day. I suppose I have you to thank for that."
"Your gratitude is most welcome, William. May one day come where you live for Mary and Frederick, as well. They would appreciate you honoring them."
Through a wicked smile, Black Adam chuckles, turning his back to take his leave back to Khandak. Leaving Captain Marvel still smiling all alone, his fists at his side curled with rage, drawing his own divine blood from the intensity of his own strength.
After that, the league would be in all rumors and whispers about Captain Marvel. From the past, they knew that Black Adam was fond of taunting the Captain with strange and mean words during their harrowing battles, but had it all been a personal dig at him all this time? Did Black Adam have a hand in accidentally giving Captain Marvel the motivation to become a hero?
Superheroes like Batman would immediately be looking into any information they learned from this and try to decipher what is the truth behind the Captain. Or should he say, "William," now having a name to the face of the hero of Fawcett. He would also be investigating Black Adam far more closely now, should the reformed man ever step out of line. If he heard right and Black Adam had indeed killed the Captain's parents, then he needed to keep an eye on Captain Marvel, too. In case of a breakdown or instability in emotions.
On the other hand, heroes like the Flash and Superman would take the time to visit the Captain in his city and check on him. They'd be concerned after seeing how pained Captain Marvel was. If a villain like Black Adam knew who the Captain was and specifically chose not to reveal his true identity to the public and just the Justice League, then perhaps there was more to it. Superman knew as well how painful it was to let a guilty man go free because he was deemed "reformed" in the eyes of the public (Lex Luthor, ew).
Overall, there would be a whole range of emotions after finding out Black Adam knows who Captain Marvel is. And I am here for it!

Is Good Parents Maddie and Jack Fenton even possible?
Specifically, would they be able to change their mindset after over twenty years of bigotry and scientific curiosity?
If they saw their human son turn into Phantom, would they still think of him as their kid? Would they love him, accept him and support him?
I, personally, can't see the canon reveals as anything but a kid friendly compromise of giving the viewers the satisfaction of a reveal and keeping the status quo of the light-hearted show going.
But with everything the Fenton parents did, said, and invented... is it possible for them to turn their backs on their research and start from scratch? To admit that they were wrong after decades of being called quacks, crazy and idiots?
The only thing they were right about was the existence of ghosts, but now they endangered the whole world by building their portal that half-killed their son and traumatised millions of people.
So. Is it possible to write a Good Parents Jack and Maddie fic that doesn't shy away from all the awful things they did and how would you go about it?
Thank you for your time!
The short answer: Technically? Yes. Realistically? Probably not.
The long answer: Everyone is capable of change but not everyone will. For all intents and purposes, they are capable of growing as people and learning to recognize their mistakes and biases and leaving those behind... It just likely wouldn't be a simple flick of a switch. At the same time there is reason to believe that the Fentons wouldn't change their minds.
You said it yourself, over twenty years they've acted like this and so logically you would begin to assume that's just how they've always been and always will be. That shows this goes far beyond their parenting style and skills, and has everything to do with who they are as people.
(Buckle up, this one's a long post.)
We don't actually know all that much about the Fenton parents in canon. We don't see any grandparents or relatives other than Aunt Alicia. Although we have headcanons as a fandom that Jack and Maddie have ghost-related trauma, or it's a family tradition from the Fenton side with Jack Fentonightingale, to explain why they've always been like this, that is still no canon confirmation. (Fentonightingale was a witch hunter, not a ghost hunter after all.)
As far as we are aware, for one reason or another, one day Jack and Maddie started to believe ghosts were real and not just real but malicious. I may not be a scientist by career but even I can tell you they've failed in their duties as scientists the moment they chose their hypotheses over the evidence. That is literally something they teach you in high school science class; you ask a question and then research for evidence supporting that question. (Otherwise known as the "if... then" statement.)
Sometimes that means your first assumption was incorrect, but the evidence cannot be changed. So to me, the Fenton parents aren't ghost scientists, they're ghost hunters and those implications have connotations all of their own. And those connotations reflect poorly on them. And this isn't even to mention their general lack of workplace safety.
When we look at their friendships- they have no friends. They had Vlad in college, but they fucked up that relationship and don't even seem too broken up about it. They hadn't spoken to each other in twenty years until the reunion, and they obviously knew he'd made something of himself; Jazz recognized his name from Billionaire of the Year I think the magazine was supposed to be or something.
When Jack explains what happened to Vlad in "Bitter Reunions", he literally mentions how he thinks Vlad has forgiven him now. So obviously he acknowledges that what happened between them was due an apology.
Do you know something that's noticeably absent? A single apology from either Jack or Maddie. Yes, Jack might be more at fault in his accident, but Maddie ignored him for twenty years too. Vlad can talk whatever crap he'd like about Jack, but Maddie is just as culpable in his 'abandonment' as her husband is. We have proof from "Masters of All Time" that Maddie isn't afraid to go behind her husband's back and do what she wants. If she truly cared about him, she would have made an effort and she never did.
But of course, now we have to talk about them as parents. That's where things get... a lot more complicated.
In "Maternal Instincts" at one point Maddie is shown carrying Danny piggy-back style. It's never explained, it's not played off as a joke. Danny isn't injured and neither is he faking an injury. It's literally just something Maddie did, probably with the idea that she's taking care of and protecting him. And Danny isn't embarrassed by it at all, even when he's been shown to be ashamed of some of his parents' other antics.
In "Girls Night Out", Jack takes Danny fishing as a father-son bonding activity. And I mean that literally, he got the idea from a book called 'Father/Son Relationships For Stupids!'. That might imply that he's a bad parent but that also goes to prove that he's aware of his shortcomings as a father and is genuinely trying to do more for his son. Not everyone comes to parenthood naturally, so for Jack to actively search for advice- even if it comes from a book- says that he wants to do this parent thing.
But in my opinion, the episode that best reveals how the Fentons function as a family is "The Fenton Menace" (and no, that's not just because my blog description references it lol). In that episode, we see Jazz's failings as a supportive sister almost from the very start; in her opening narration, she talks about how she knows his secret and yet when he insists through and through that he sees a ghost, she still thinks she knows better/otherwise. We also get a touching moment where Maddie talks about spending quality time with the people you love (which is a line almost word for word from the show, by the way).
However, there are two things that stand out the most from this episode. This is the episode where we get the line: "Whether it's air, land, or sea I won't stop until we capture a ghost and tear it apart. Molecule by molecule." In response to this, Danny gets visibly upset. It is probably one of the most damning pieces of evidence in the entire series that his parents' behavior genuinely bothered him. He makes jokes about them shooting or experimenting on him, but humor can and often is used as a coping mechanism. After that quote? Danny didn't try to hide his reaction until later on when Jazz asked him. And even then he dismisses it with a quip.
The second thing from this episode also so happens to feed into my main point for this entire argument: This is the episode where Jack and Maddie attempt to 'spin the crazy' out of Danny. That kind of behavior is something you'd find in places like Arkham Asylum, which is notorious for their inhumane treatment of its patients. Decidedly not something you expect to see from supposedly loving parents. That absolutely constitutes as cruel and unusual punishment and yet it's not even meant to be a punishment.
They sincerely think that they're trying to help him by doing this. And that's the heart of the issue, in my opinion. Jack and Maddie don't think about other people. They don't think about their feelings or their safety or their privacy. They are so caught up in the idea that they are doing good that they never stop to think that they're part of the problem. Or the entire problem altogether.
The only time that we get some decent self-reflection is during Reality Trip, when Danny's identity is revealed by Freakshow and the Fenton parents and Jazz are taken as hostages. While they're stuck and trapped, they question why Danny had never told them his identity before, which is when Jazz comments about the poor way they used to treat his ghostly side. It's only then that it clicks for them that oh yeah we did that. That's what it took for them to recognize that their actions have consequences and even with good intentions, you are capable of hurting the people you love.
And I think that's one of the best ways to go about it. You need to give them the time and opportunity for that self-reflection and reclamation. Jack and Maddie are- naturally- a shoot first and ask later (if ever) type of people. One way or another, there needs to be a way for them to pull back and sit and look around for once.
There are many ways to address this too and make way for the possibility of Good Parents Jack and Maddie. One of the fics that immediately comes to mind for me is @akela-nakamura's Not Everything Is As It Seems. In this one we focus on Jack's perspective, and this fic made me So Unwell with its quiet gravitas, I can never recommend it enough. But if you want something from Maddie's perspective, then you can read @peachdoxie's incredible Trust Your Instincts fic. It is 36 chapters, already completed, and it's this beautiful journey through Maddie's Outsider POV.
As for me personally, I explored the subject in Chapter 51 of my fic lex luthor's ascent from supervillainy to fatherhood, Interlude III: Dynasty. We actually get two different reactions from the Fenton parents, one that is more from a 'Good Parent' and one from a 'Bad Parent'.
I think the most important part is to never shy away from talking about and exploring all the horrible things they did and have done. It's difficult to discuss, but the subject is complicated and to address it as anything less than complicated wouldn't be fair to those moments where the Fentons genuinely did want to be there for their children.
Does it make any of their behavior right? No. Does it prove that they can change? Yes. Will they? ...That will have to be left up to each individual writer.
If you found yourself in a similar family situation, of course you're gonna want your family or your parents to grow or choose you. Because you love them, and you want to keep them in your life. But at some point you have to think about yourself and your own safety and health. That doesn't mean you give up on them, but you protect yourself from the fallout in case they don't change.
Every person is capable of it, but not every person is willing to. The Fenton parents are no different in that regard.

Don't. (Earth 42!Miles x Reader)
Tumblr media
While writing this I was just thinking how reader here is so relatable like damn I'd be this much of a simp for him too ngl
As always, enjoy!
Love,
Mint
Summary: Miles and Uncle Aaron allow you to tag along when they have a mission just so you can admire the absolute goddamn art that is named Miles G Morales (⁀ᗢ⁀)
Warnings: Slight cussing, one mention of knife and gunpoint
Word count: 781
Tumblr media
You watched as Miles turns his body a flawless 360-degree, smoothly unclasping three devices from his utility belt, before throwing it at the men following him as it explodes on their faces. He yelled with anger, and you could hear him from a mile away.
Whenever he was out on a mission, it was usually with Uncle Aaron… and you tagging along like some child they needed to babysit. Truthfully, you had places to be and things to do, but you were always eager to take in the absolute art that is Miles Morales, your best friend and your biggest, fattest crush in the entire universe.
Though you could be reprimanded by your parents, you just couldn’t help it... Plus they didn't have to know what you were actually doing after school. The stealth, strength, and mere power of the Prowler captivated you so well that it’s hard to look away. You didn’t even mind that he was a criminal because you were just so damn proud of your best friend. Also starstruck and in love but, that’s another story.
It was one of the reasons why you practically forced Uncle Aaron to let you at least watch from a safe distance (let's say like 3 miles away). Before he approved of it though, you usually tried to get in trouble’s way as an excuse to be near and observe Miles just endlessly kill enemies that stood in his way.
One time, you even...maybe... "unintentionally" let their enemies grab you at gunpoint. Miles and Uncle Aaron were both beyond furious it was indescribable, but that's all in the past now.
Other than that, you usually followed behind them but of course, they aren’t dumb enough to not notice. When Miles caught you, he almost tried to kill you because you were “putting your damn ass in unnecessary danger.”
Okay back to the present—“Would you stop drooling over him for a second and actually find a better hiding spot?!” Uncle Aaron would scold you.
You’d oblige of course, and wordlessly hide further in some alley or inside an abandoned building, whichever was suitable and strong enough before proceeding to watch again, your eyes going up, and down, side by side to catch up with how fast Miles was going, throwing punches and clawing enemies left and right.
Uncle Aaron just sighs and shakes his head at you, before following after Miles again. He already knew there was no way of stopping you from your weird admiration. “If you die, I won’t be surprised.” He would mutter to himself.
You lazily sat down on one of the old benches by the sidewalk, completely forgetting that you were in an open area. All your attention was on Miles’ braided black hair that swung in his every movement.
However, that may have been your worst mistake because some guy in a suit was charging toward you. Given that he was coming from your blind spot, you didn’t notice but you did wonder why Miles was suddenly running to you.
His mouth was agape, as if he were yelling something and his entire face was agitated, or rather angry. At who? You didn’t know. In fact, he actually was yelling though…
“Move ma! You wanna die?!” This startled you, finally snapping back to reality, and moved away just in time as the man behind you barely missed with his knife which may have been inside you if you didn’t move fast enough.
Your mind went blank at what just happened, but you didn’t have enough time to process anything as Miles grabbed you by the waist and carries you with him, speeding through the road and away from the suited man.
He had scooped you up into a bridal style halfway through and you couldn’t help but look up and blush at the angle.
Looking at Miles was one heck of a sight. Your eyes twinkled in delight, completely forgetting what the hell just happened and how you were almost killed. “I think I might be in love with you!” You called out at your best friend, making him almost lose his footing.
Miles glared at the road before him. Were you insane? You may be his best friend, but did you have any idea of the shit he’s done? The people he’s killed? He’s a literal murder machine, and you were declaring that you love him?
He doesn’t know whether you’re stupid, or insane but it might as well have been both. Miles took a second to look down at your eyes and shook his head firmly. “Don’t.”
"And this is the last time I'm letting you hang around when we do this shit mami."
Fin.

Big Family
Sam Winchester & daughter!reader, Dean Winchester & niece!reader, Castiel & teen!reader (obviously platonic), Claire Novak & Winchester!reader (platonic)
Requested by Anonymous
Synopsis: You and Claire meet for the first time, but it doesn’t go so well at first.
Tumblr media
“Claire, this is Y/N.”
Claire barely spared the girl a glance as she dropped her gear next to the table in the bunker and headed off to find a shower.
It had seemed like the whole ride back from the hunt, Sam Winchester could speak of nothing but seeing his daughter again, and Claire was sick of the girl before they’d even met.
It didn’t help that Cas and Dean kept adding bits about how great you were, and how much you and Claire would get along. She hadn’t felt so ignored in a long time.
She knew, deep down, how childish she was being, but she couldn’t help it. Ever since her parents had died, those three idiots had been the closest thing she had to parents, besides Jody. Hearing that they had someone, someone better than her, someone actually related…
It hurt.
Claire had half expected Sam to come after here to give her some stupid talk about how she was feeling, but even after she finished getting cleaned up, he was nowhere to be found. She went to the library of the bunker to find you and Sam; he was listening with wrapt attention while you caught him up on your past few days.
“You go to school?” Claire asked when you were finished speaking, and you and Sam turned to look at her.
“Yeah, I’m not that involved with hunting,” you explained with a shrug. “I usually just help with research sometimes, but I’d rather focus on school.”
Claire didn’t respond. This was the girl that they thought she’d get along with? She didn’t even hunt!
“So what happens when your dad needs backup? You’re too busy in math class to care?”
“Hey, um—“ Sam interjected. “Claire, how about I show you around the bunker. Hey Y/N, can you go find Dean? I think he might’ve gotten hurt by one of the vamps, but he’s being too macho to admit it.”
“Sure,” you said quietly to your father, ignoring Claire as you passed her and headed to Dean’s room.
“What was that?” Sam asked, and Claire was annoyed by his gentle tone.
“What was what?”
“Don’t,” Sam said. “Don’t pretend you don’t know what I’m talking about. You don’t even know Y/N, why are being so cold to her?”
“Oh, sorry,” Claire scoffed. “I didn’t mean to upset your princess.”
“Stop it.” It wasn’t Sam that had spoken this time, but Cas, who just entered the room. “Claire, what is going on?”
“Nothing,” Claire huffed. “I just don’t like her, ok? Get over it.”
“You don’t even know her,” Sam argued.
“I know enough.”
“No, no you don’t. And I think if you try to talk to her, actually try, you two could get along.”
“Yeah right.”
“Claire—“
“You can’t make her like anybody.” All three of them turned at the sound of your voice in the doorway. “She can think what she wants, guys. Just leave her be.” You turned all of your attention to your dad. “Uncle Dean’s fine, by the way, but you look like you seriously need to crash.”
“Yeah, ok,” Sam sighed. “I’m gonna go get some sleep.”
“I should get some food, we’re almost out,” Cas added after Sam left. “Are you two—“
“I promise we won’t kill each other.” You rolled your eyes. “Go.”
Once you were alone with Claire, she turned to look at you.
“So what, now we bond?”
You scoffed. “Do I look like Sam? Like me, don’t like me, I don’t give a crap. I didn’t do a thing to you, but if you wanna hate me, knock yourself out.”
Claire suddenly felt a newfound respect for you; you didn’t take crap from her, which was a start.
“Can I ask you a question?” Claire began.
“You just did.”
Claire rolled her eyes and continued, “Why’d you lie to Sam? You said you checked on Dean, but you went to his room and he was in the kitchen.
You shrugged. “‘Go check on Uncle Dean’ is dad’s most obvious code for ‘I want to have a conversation about you’, so I figured I’d stick around.”
When Claire didn’t respond, you continued.
“Ok, so now it’s my turn for a question. Why do you hate me? I mean we haven’t even met before, and I’ve heard only great things about you.”
This got Claire’s attention.
“You have?”
“Yeah,” you scoffed. “The guys talk about you all the time, half the time it felt like you were a long-lost sister.”
“Gosh, is my face red?” Claire muttered, without as much sarcasm in her tone as she would’ve liked.
“What?” You asked.
“Look,” Claire sighed. “Most of the time, the guys can do nothing but talk about you. I mean Sam brags on you like your Mother Theresa or something, and I guess…I guess I was jealous.”
Claire half expected you to laugh, or to get angry, but you just smiled.
“You? Jealous of me?” You laughed, but not the cruel laugh that Claire had expected. “That’s crazy! I mean, you’re the one that goes on all those hunts with them, and they love you!”
“But I’m not their kid,” Claire argued. “I…look, after my parents died, Jody and those three guys were my only family. So when I found out they had their own…”
“You think just because I’m Sam’s daughter, I can somehow…what, take your place?” You shook your head. “Uncle Dean likes to say that family doesn’t end in blood. You’re their family—our family. I can’t take your place, and you can’t take mine. Those three idiots can love both of us, trust me.”
“Yeah,” Claire cracked a smile. “I guess they can.”

invisible string - part six (one)
it could change but this feels like, like the calm before the storm
Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: reader x mason mount summary: It’s been you and your daughter until life decides to prank you by putting her dad back into your life. The only problem is that he doesn’t know he’s her dad. warnings: fluff, angst, a bit of swearing author: split into two parts so i wouldn't keep y'all waiting for two more weeks. hope you enjoy this! word count: +5.600k
Feeling anxiety starting to creep in, you tossed the heavy white duvet to the side and quietly made your way out of your bedroom, baby monitor on one hand, careful not to wake up neither Lily nor Mason. The low light coming from the street guided your lazy steps all the way to the sofa, where you threw yourself and closed your eyes, trying to push away all the thoughts that were keeping you awake.
“Couldn’t sleep?”
“Fuck-” You gasped, your right hand placed on your chest, feeling your heart pound against your chest when Mason’s voice woke you up, almost making you wet your pants. And not in the way you knew he was good at. “Are you trying to kill me or what?”
“Sorry,” He grinned. “I didn’t mean to scare you.”
“Right.” You frowned. “But uh- no, I can’t sleep.”
“She can, apparently.” He gave you a funny face and a wide smile, pointing at the baby monitor on your hand, Lily’s snores coming from it. “Very loud for a little girl.”
You nodded, smiling back, a soft giggle parting your lips. “It gets louder when it’s football day at school and there’s ballet after.”
“You think it’s okay if I go see her dance, someday? After we tell everyone she’s mine.” You noticed how careful Mason was when deciding what to say; though there was no reason for that, you appreciated how thoughtful he was.
“Whenever you want, Mason. Anything related to her, just let me know beforehand so I can plan myself too and I can take her to you, or you can come and pick her up-”
“Or maybe drop her off at Jaz’s?” He interrupted you.
“I wouldn’t want to bother her, with the new baby coming…” You shrugged, and Mason nodded, agreeing that perhaps it wouldn’t be the best idea but he knew you two would manage this co-parenting thing. “It’ll be challenging, but everything will be fine.”
Giving you a wink, Mason nodded again, going back to rest his body on the sofa. You mimicked him, feeling how heavy your body felt, begging for sleep. “Nice place you got here.”
“We moved in recently, I wanted a bigger space in case my dad decided to surprise Lily with a puppy for Christmas.”
“The gunner dad. Can’t wait to meet him.” Mason groaned, hands brushing his face as his lips parted in a long yawn that made you yawn too, making you share a laugh.
“You shouldn’t worry about that, he’s still under your World Cup effect.”
“Does he…?”
You shook your head. “I never told anyone besides Willow.”
“So your family doesn’t know I’m her dad?”
“No, they don’t.” You shrugged. “That’s private and they’ve always respected my choices, and it’s not like they hate you either. They hate the fact you weren’t around for her but also understand that’s on me.”
“Well, that’s fair enough.” Mason had his legs up, placing them onto yours as if it was the most natural thing for him. You frowned, a smile playing on your lips. “What?”
Pushing his legs from yours, you mimicked him and made him snort when you threw your legs onto his. He rested both hands on your thighs, making your body instantly warm with the contact and you were glad your skin was fully covered, or he’d see how hard you shivered. Still, you moved on the sofa, a bit uncomfortable and also quite satisfied - noticing how it affected you, Mason softly squeezed your thigh, apparently amused by the fact he made you feel something.
The silence that fell between you didn’t bother you and it didn’t seem to bother him either, you were both very relaxed around each other as if you’d been in each other’s lives for years. Somehow you were, and Lily was responsible for that. It felt natural, being around him. So natural you allowed your eyes to close when you noticed Mason closed his.
You blinked a few times when tiny fingers poked your face, finding Lily with the cheekiest grin on her face, her favourite teddy bear upside down on her other hand. Smiling at her, you pouted, waiting for a morning kiss - which she was more than glad to give you. A loud, long snore coming from Mason made her brown eyes wide; Lily covered her mouth with her hand, trying to hold back a giggle. She really got all that snoring from him.
“Why don’t you wake him up with a cuddle and some kisses, peanut? I’m sure he’ll love it.” You encouraged her before any hint of doubt could be seen in her eyes.
Holding her hand, you helped her climb you so she could get to Mason, who was peacefully sleeping right next to you. She carefully laid down on him and watching Mason automatically wrap his arms around her small frame made you instantly smile; then, she moved up a little, cupping his face with her tiny chubby hands and spreading soft kisses across his face. When she kissed each of his eyelids, your smile grew wider - that was Lily’s love language, the morning eyelid kisses.
“What a wonderful way to wake up.” He poked her ribs, making her giggle, and nestled her in his arms.
“Morning, Masey!” Lily kissed his cheek again, finally resting her head on his chest as Mason played with her hair.
For a moment, Lily allowed herself to close her eyes and breathe in her daddy’s scent. It made her feel complete, she wanted to scream all the happiness out. When she opened her eyes earlier, it felt like it was just a dream, but seeing him still there calmed her heart; he kept his promise and that meant the world.
As promised, you made pancakes for breakfast, with the help of your little chef. The way Mason closed his eyes when he had his first bite made you feel oddly proud of your cooking skills, which had always been great and you only mastered it after you became a mum, always looking for healthy meal options for Lily - the little one also had pride spread across her face as she watched her daddy eating her mum’s pancakes. When she finished eating, Lily went to feed Moana, the fish, and made sure Mason would say ‘hi’ to her pet. Which he gladly did, and was proud seeing how responsible she was. Maybe she deserved a puppy for Christmas, afterall.
Mason watched his daughter walk back to the kitchen with a soft smile on his lips; suddenly, the events from the past 24 hours blurred his vision and got his head spinning. He was a dad now. He didn’t have any time to prepare for it like other dads, the typical 9 months before he could meet his daughter. Mason was a fantastic uncle, but being a dad was immensely different, it came with way more responsibilities and he’d have to also be part of that little girl’s education - he’d help shape her for the future and whoever she becomes, would be 50% on him. He could allow him to slightly panic, but emotional control was something he was getting good at, and panicking would be useless; especially because he knew you, so far, was doing a fantastic job because that little girl was precious - kind, thoughtful, loving, funny… Lilian Maisie was everything he dreamed about when he caught himself thinking how much he wanted kids. He had a perfect daughter now and he couldn’t wait to tell his family and closest friends.
“Mason?” Your voice pulled him back from his thoughts. Mason shook his head, let out a long sigh, finally paying attention to you. Lily watched him curiously, holding your hand as she waited. “Bubble bath time for Lils. Do you have to leave or could you wait and take me to Jaz’s? I left my car there yesterday.”
“I don’t want you to leave.” His gaze moved to a pouty Lily. Mason knew this would be the hard part of co-parenting, not being able to be with her all the time. A sigh parted his lips again, but he focused all his attention on his daughter, kneeling down and softly squeezing the tip of her nose.
“Told you I’m never leaving again, I’ll be around as much as I can but daddy-” It overwhelmed him when he said it, calling himself a dad. Your reaction was pretty much the same, you held your breath and you could swear your heart was about to explode with so much love because you never thought you’d see this happening. “-I’m a bit stinky, eh? Don’t you agree?” Lily giggled when Mason tickled her ribs. “I’ll shower, change and come back to pick you and mummy and take you to see Summer.”
Saying her bestie’s name was enough to cheer the little one up, but it wasn’t just her bestie anymore. Lily let go of your hand and jumped on Mason, tiny arms tightly wrapped around his neck as she kissed his cheek repeatedly.
“My cousin Summer!” She let out a soft scream, making both you and Mason share a laugh at your daughter’s excitement.
Mason nodded at her. “Your cousin Summer. We’ll tell her together, okay?”
“Yes, Masey!”
Mason kissed her forehead before leaving, and gave you the most awkward hug, but you couldn’t stop the warmth that ran through your body when his cologne hit you like a heavenly punch. You held your breath for a few seconds, trying to keep his scent on your mind for as long as you could - until Lily impatiently pulled you towards the bathroom and you undressed her and yourself once the bubbles were the way she liked.
You mostly nodded and hummed to her endless chattering, your mind elsewhere, thinking how your parents would react when you shared that Lily’s dad was now part of hers and your life too and that he was none other than Mason Mount. You also thought how happy Willow would be, considering she had been the only consistent friend after you became a mum and always encouraged you to go after him. And last but not least, you wondered how you’d keep yourself - and, most importantly, Lily - out of the spotlight considering Mason’s high profile status - losing any sense of normality in your life made you slightly panic; you had a job you loved, your privacy, and although it was barely existent at the moment after ending a two years relationship, you had a love life too.
When the doorbell rang again, you still had the white fluffy towel wrapped around your body and head too. Though she was quite independent for her age, since Mason left almost two hours ago, Lily was unusually clingy, demanding for full attention while getting dressed and while you were blow drying her hair, making you stop for ‘mumma smooches’ as she said. But knowing it was him on the other side of the door, Lily was fast enough to rush and pick it up, leaving you blushing hard as you stood on the hallway and Mason had the cheekiest grin curling his lips.
Was he going to make a big deal about it or had he forgotten that you were only back to each other’s lives because he put a baby in you?
You rolled your eyes and locked yourself in your bedroom, knowing Lily would entertain him while you got dressed and blow dried your hair. Not even two minutes later, your phone buzzed with a notification. Mason.
Tumblr media
Ripping off the towel that wrapped your body, you used it to muffle an odd mix of a muffle and a scream, and then your phone buzzed again. Jasmine.
Tumblr media
“Hurry up, mummy!” Soft knocks on your door made you sigh in frustration. You loved that kid but, sometimes, you just needed time to freak out over the things a 25 year old would.
Your only reply was the noise from the blow dryer; though you knew you needed to rush, you didn’t because you needed time to think about what would come next. Telling Summer would be the easiest thing, but facing Mason’s parents before your own was terrifying - Debbie was a sweetheart, but you had no idea what Mason’s dad was like even if Lily told you he was the funniest. But who wouldn’t, when a kid was involved? And you were no kid.
It didn’t take you more than 40 minutes to get ready; you wanted to cause a good impression on Mason’s dad even if you weren’t Mason’s significant other, because you were still the mother of their granddaughter. The outfit approval came from your daughter first, when she clapped her hands together and let out the softest scream, telling you looked beautiful - then, Mason took his time to capture every little detail of you and how fantastic you looked, making you blush just as hard as he did earlier.
Mason was glad he had a child car seat always ready for Summer in his car; once Lily was safely tightened to it, they made their short way to Jaz’s place under the little girl’s usual chattering with her daddy giving her all the attention she deserved, answering her questions and asking her about everything he felt he needed to know about her - favourite food, colour, friends from school and whatever popped his mind. You liked that, it helped ease the anxiety of meeting his parents today as the mother of their grandchild. Even if their connection was clearly already strong, Mason was making sure it’d only grow stronger.
As anxious as ever, Jasmine didn’t mind how cold it was outside as she waited for Mason to park the car - the woman had both arms resting on her immense bump, a wide smile on her face and Summer on her side with her arms wrapped around her mummy’s leg. Sam was watching it from inside, face almost glued to the window, and you knew how happy they were seeing the three of you arriving - finally - as a family or, at least, with the expectation of the cute family you were going to be while co-parenting Lily. She secretly hoped you and Mason would get along well enough so you’d end up together, because she liked you and would love to have you as her in law.
Once you were all out of the car, Lily wasted no time letting go of yours and Mason’s hand and rushed to hug her bestie, and this time was the longest and tightest hug because even if Summer had no idea yet, it was a cousin hug from Lily. Holding each other’s hands, they walked inside the house once Sam opened the door and you could notice that Mason’s mum was there waiting for them with her arms wide open, ready for a double hug. Debbie clearly liked your daughter, but how would she react when she found out that Lily was her granddaughter? Jaz seemed to notice how tense you were and wrapped an arm around you, walking inside the house with you on her side in a subtle gesture of welcoming you to the family because that’s what you were now.
“Oh, hi Y/n! It’s so lovely to see you again.” Debbie welcomed you with two kisses and a smile stamped on her face, you mentally asked yourself how they were always smiling. “Hope you’re feeling better from that heartbreak.” She winked at you and although it was discreet, you noticed Mason’s grin when he walked by after kissing his mum’s forehead. You blushed.
“Quite well, Debbie. He’s not that important.” You groaned, making the woman giggle. He was important, he was the goddamn father of your child.
“Good, good. I didn’t know you and Mason knew each other, I’ve seen you two arrived together.”
Trying not to panic again, your eyes searched for Mason, who quickly showed up again and stood next to his mum, not really knowing what to say.
“We met a few years ago, I didn’t know he was Jaz’s brother.”
“Mum, I-” He cleared his throat. “There’s something I need to discuss with you and dad.”
“Oh, Mason…”
Debbie frowned when, walking into Jaz’s reading room, Mason reached for your hand and held your pinky with his - you walked in together, sitting on the sofa right next to each other, and you allowed yourself to hold his hand instead so you’d stop shaking. His hand was sweating, so was yours, and this whole situation felt like when you were about to tell your parents that you were pregnant. Debbie and Tony, who you just met, curiously watched you two.
“All this to tell us you two are together?” Tony raised an eyebrow, tilting his head to the side as he crossed his arms over his chest.
Mason swallowed hard. Judging by how hard he squeezed your hand, you knew he’d do it like ripping off the band-aid of a very bad scratch.
“Lily is my daughter.”
You watched Debbie’s jaw drop as she blinked multiple times, trying to assimilate Mason’s words; and Tony’s face go pale, his arms dropping to the sides of his body - they were both speechless, and you could see confusion sparkling in their eyes, but before they could assemble the right words to say, Mason told them the whole story. Your eyes teared when he, not once, blamed you for him not being in Lily’s life from the beginning and you felt Debbie’s most understanding and loving gaze landing on you - she’d understand because she was a mother too.
“Why now?” Again, Tony raised an eyebrow, but at you.
“I’m not one to punish my daughter for my own mistakes, sir. She loves Summer, you know how close they are and how much those little ones love each other because you’ve seen it yourself.” He nodded at you, sighing. “And I wasn’t planning on hiding forever, so I guess it was a timing thing.”
“I’m guessing you’ll want to register her?” He turned to face Mason, who quickly nodded, and Tony rubbed his face with his hands. A groan escaped the man’s body, so full of frustration and worries that you were starting to panic. “This is going to be a shit show.”
“Tony, dear-” Debbie tried to start, but stopped once her husband furiously shook his head.
“It will. The media will feed from this for the longest time, they’ll make sure to hunt every tiny detail about Lily and-” Turning to face you, much to your surprise, Tony’s eyes were full of compassion. “About you too, and your family.”
“Dad, we don’t have to tell anyone now.”
“It’ll be worse if we don’t, but we should focus on taking baby steps now.”
Baby steps were good, considering how hard anxiety was creeping in at the moment judging by how tight you were squeezing Mason’s hand without noticing; only when he moved a bit uncomfortable next to you, his eyes falling to your hands together, you realised it. Giving him an apologetic look, you let his hand go only for him to hold your pink with his, again.
“I’m assuming Jaz already knows about it?” Debbie questioned, the softness in her voice calms your nerves a bit because it reminded you of your mum. You nodded, calmly, getting a smile from her.
“She was the first to know,” you said. “Then Sam because I didn’t want her to carry this on her own until I could tell Mason, and everyone else.”
“She told me yesterday, by the way.” Mason added.
You all agreed that Lily’s safety and well being came first, making her feel comfortable in this new environment with so many new people - even though she was much of an extrovert - could be a little overwhelming, although she seemed extremely excited to meet the new additions to her already big family. You had no siblings, but your parents did so there were plenty of cousins for her from your side of the family.
When she walked in the room, alone, her big brown eyes instantly searched for you and her dad. Lily relaxed as she took short steps towards you, seeking comfort in your arms with her gaze never leaving her daddy’s, who softly smiled at her. Surprisingly, she was shy this time, perhaps because she felt a bit insecure whether her grandparents would like her now that they knew who she was.
But they already loved her.
The most special moment was Summer’s reaction when her uncle shared the news; you could see her trying to put together all the information that was given her, her mouth opened a few times as she tried to form a sentence while her gaze moved from you, to Mason and then Lily. After a few minutes, it stopped on Lily and Summer just opened the biggest and brightest smile, throwing her small arms around Lily’s neck as the latter tried to balance herself, but failing - they both went to the floor, not caring if it’d hurt them, and you all shared a laugh. Summer gave Lily a long kiss on her cheek, and though it was just whispers, they were loud enough so you could hear Summer repeating ‘cousin, cousin, cousin’.
“What is happening here?” Lewis’ cheerful voice filled the room, he curiously watched the two girls on the floor, hugging each other. Debbie and Tony in a corner, both trying not to cry; Jaz and Sam in each other's arms, sitting on the sofa and you and Mason standing, holding each other’s pinky. Jaz was quick to give him an answer.
“Mase is a dad.”
***
Telling your parents wasn’t the easiest task, but it was definitely not as hard as telling Mason’s. Still, as intimidating as ever, even being the biggest softie, your dad’s mouth dropped open when you told them who exactly Lily’s dad was. Staring at you with eyes wide open too, he didn’t know what to say when you showed him a picture of Lily and Mason the night before when you three were having pizza for dinner, in a way to provide him proof that you weren’t lying even if he’d never doubt you.
Your mum was the most calm and peaceful person in your life and you couldn’t be more thankful for it, her eyes sparkled with tears he was forcing herself to hold back as her face slowly flushed pink - she knew how hard it was for you not having Lily’s dad around and how much Lily wanted to meet him. When she finally wrapped her arms around you in the most comforting embrace, and you felt safe. While in her arms, you knew things would eventually work out, even if at first it’d be hard.
“I hope you don’t expect me to support Chelsea.” Your dad said, clearing his throat while trying to mask a sniff. Seeing your dad crying was rare, but anything related to Lily made him feel extra emotional.
“Not even for the sake of your granddaughter?” Raising an eyebrow, you teased him.
“You’ve got some nerves.” He scoffed, making you and your mum chuckle. “I’d like to meet him, and his family. Make sure you and Lily are protected when you both decide to make it public.”
That was half your dad, half one of the best lawyers in England now. You knew he’d want to get involved as much as he could. He even had a different posture, hands rubbing together and pushing his chest out with such confidence you just wish you had more of him, maybe you’d be able to make more logic and less emotional decisions.
You nodded at him. “I’m sure they’d appreciate that. And Mason wants to register Lily before making it public, maybe you could help us out with that?”
“Absolutely, love.” Your dad approached, wrapping his arms around you and your mum in a protective way. “Anything you need, always.” He kissed your forehead, then your mum’s. “Except supporting Chelsea.” You rolled your eyes.
“Is Lily with him now?”
“She’s at his sister’s, with Summer, but he’s there too. His whole family is there and I think he’ll start telling his closest friends this week… But I wanted to give them some time together, and Lily feels so comfortable and happy around them. That’s why I didn’t bring her with me.”
“That’s alright, sweetheart.” Your mum said, rubbing your back with her warm and soft palm. “It was a good decision, she needs to get used to being with them without you around.”
You gulped, realising that your time with your own daughter would shorten a bit. Not wanting to feel anything bad related to the situation, you shook the bad thoughts away and let out a sigh. This wouldn’t be easy, at all, but Lily’s happiness was your priority.
*****
Knowing your daughter all too well, you saw it coming when the biggest pout formed on her lips when you were back at Jaz’s late afternoon. You pouted back, and though reluctant to let her daddy go at first, Lily ran to you with arms open ready to be nestled by you.
“I thought you’d be happy to see me, baby.” You cooed, rubbing your nose against her soft chubby cheek.
“I am, mummy.” Her tiny hands cupped your face, and Lily mimicked your gesture, making your heart almost burst with all the love. “But I don’t want to leave. Can’t Masey come with us?”
You gulped, side eyeing Mason who had his lips pressed together forming a thin line - he lowered his gaze, his Nikes seeming a lot more interesting now. Being a parent involved saying lots of ‘nos’ and you knew that he wouldn’t be able to do it for a long time, considering Lily could be extremely convincing with her pouting and those big puppy eyes. But you also didn’t want to be the bad one in this story.
“Why don’t we let him go home and rest a bit, sweetheart? You can invite him to ballet tomorrow and we’ll take him to drink that coco you love.”
“Can he have cake too?”
Mason’s nasal chuckle made your attention move from Lily to him, he had his hands in his pockets as he approached you and your daughter; bending down so he could look her in her eyes, Mason’s hand rubbed Lily’s back, his fingertips slightly brushing your forearm as he did it.
“I can, princess. I promise I’ll see you tomorrow and whenever you want to see me.”
*****
The following weeks were surprisingly calm.
After a mutual agreement, you and Mason were constantly communicating to make sure that co-parenting would be as smooth as possible to both of you and, most importantly, to Lily. Asking her to keep it a secret for a while was tough, especially with their interactions whenever Mason went to see her and Summer at ballet, but somehow, you managed it and were making it work - suddenly, you two considered yourselves as a great team, though Mason almost let out the word ‘family’ once. With Lily’s school already on Christmas break, you’d often leave her either at Debbie’s or your parents’ house, while you were still on full time at work before getting your much deserved break.
“Cotswolds for Christmas?” Oliver, your coworker, asked. You looked up from the amount of papers you had to sign to him; he had his toned arms crossed over his chest, the navy blue knit fitting well all those muscles. It matched perfectly with his bright blue eyes and sand blond hair. Your jaw dropped a little.
You shook your head, blinking repeatedly when you found yourself staring for longer than you should, which seemed to amuse him. “Uh-yeah, I guess. I’m not sure yet.”
“Let me know if you stay in London, you still owe me dinner.”
“Do I?” You raised an eyebrow, grinning. “I thought you were just being nice offering me a ride that day. As the gentleman you are.”
“I was being a gentleman but I also want to take you out.” Oliver winked at you, tapping his fingers on your desk before leaving your office. You couldn’t remember the last time you flirted with a guy, although Oliver often tried it and you mostly resisted because you two worked together, and going out with coworkers rarely ended well.
Waking up from your thoughts, you noticed your phone buzzing with a message from Mason, asking if you and Lily would still attend his first match back after the World Cup. Deep down, you wanted to believe he wasn’t insisting so much just because of Lily, considering how well you two were getting along - he even told you that Willow was more than welcome to join you.
Tumblr media
So, when that Sunday match came, you found yourself wearing a Chelsea shirt for the first time in your life, something that’d give your dad a stroke, but it was all about supporting the father of your child. Lily looked extra adorable on hers too, and she made you promise you’d never tell her grandpa that she was wearing a Chelsea shirt, which made you laugh at how anxious and nervous the little one was.
Considering how things had always been since Lily was born, you never really thought that someday you’d end up at Stamford Bridge for a match, to support him, with his entire family. Surreal was the word, and it was enough to make your head spin a bit once you felt the stadium’s energy engulfing you. With Willow by your side, you two glanced at each other when Mason’s mum waved at you while she poked Jaz, who opened the biggest smile. Lily wiggled her little legs so Willow could put her down and she ran straight to Summer.
“So happy you two came!” Debbie wrapped her arms around you in the most loving embrace, excitement loud and clear in her words.
You also finally met Stacey and her family, and weren’t really surprised to find out they were all nice and kind. Much to your surprise, while Willow bonded with the ladies, you’ve found Tony practically glued to you and asking lots of questions. Lewis also seemed oddly happy to be around you.
“Mason said your dad is a gunner.” A cheeky grin played on Tony’s lips. You nodded, softly giggling. “I assume he doesn’t know you’re wearing a Chelsea shirt today.”
“He doesn’t, but he’ll understand once he recovers from the stroke this will cause, especially when he sees Lily.” Your eyes went straight to your daughter, happily playing with her cousins. “And he likes Mason, so… He should be fine.”
“I’m hoping we can all meet soon, before Christmas.”
“That would be lovely, sir. I’m sure we can arrange something, my mum loves hosting dinners and dad is a show off when it comes to his whiskey collection, so they’ll love to have everyone together.”
“You had me at the whiskey collection.”
Growing up with a family who was obsessed with football and die-hard Arsenal fan, even if you weren’t the biggest fan, you couldn’t deny how much you enjoyed the atmosphere of a match. Fans chanting, children screaming and clapping - you could feel that familiar knot on your stomach and a smile forming on your lips, because it was indeed really fun.
Lily reached out for you and climbed you once you were sitting comfortably, she pointed at Mason when she realised he was on the pitch, a shy smile on her lips. Leaning forward a bit, you pecked her left temple and whispered a ‘that’s your daddy’ - to which she happily nodded.
But nothing could control Lily, or anyone in the stadium, when Chelsea scored their first goal.
And nothing could control you when Mason scored. An odd and powerful wave of pride wrapping you, even more when Lily jumped straight to Tony’s arms, laughing so loud and so cheerfully you couldn’t remember the last time you’d seen her like this.
That was the moment you finally realised, once for all, that it wasn’t just Lily’s life that would never be the same. Yours wouldn’t either, and it scared you how at ease you felt about it.
It scared you how at ease you felt walking down the tunnels at Stamford Bridge, with your daughter in your arms, to meet Mason.
It scared you how at ease you felt seeing Mason widen his smile once he spotted you two, and his family right behind you. How he stretched his arms to take Lily and kiss her cheeks, and how he wanted you to come with him to meet two of his closest teammates: Kai and Ben, the latter being one of your dad’s favourites, which seemed to amuse him when you told him while shaking his hand.
“She’s beautiful. I was really looking forward to meeting her, after Mase told us.” Ben said, standing next to you as you botch watched Mason play with Lily, Kai and Summer. “And he wouldn’t shut up about you two coming today.” You blushed at his words.
At first, you didn’t want too many people to know, but Mason insisted that he had to share it with his closest friends and there was no way you’d take that from him, seeing how happy he was around Lily. This was his world, and you were part of it now because whatever involved your daughter, involved you too.
And whenever you felt scared, running away from your feelings sounded like a lovely idea.

The day your parents announced their separation to you was the worst day of your life.
You had only been thirteen years old, but you remembered it like it was yesterday.
Mindy and Chad had invited you over for the weekend-long sleepover. You spent the weekend watching horror movies in secret — and hiding in Chad’s shoulder during gore-y parts you couldn’t stomach —, eating popcorn and ice scream, scraping your knee when falling from Mindy’s bike. It was a really fun weekend. You were excited to tell your parents all about it when they picked you up, but only your mom was in the car.
When you got home, your dad was there and you could tell by his face that he wasn’t in his best mood. You thought it had something to do with your grandmother, but it wasn’t. Your parents sat you down and announced that they would be divorcing.
You never thought another day could take this day’s position — until today.
You were at Chad’s, hanging out on the couch and distracting yourselves from the return of ghostface, when you received a text from Sam asking you to come to the hospital. Since Tara had not been released yet and she didn't have access to her phone, you assumed she wanted to see you, but when you arrived at the hospital you were faced with a totally different scene.
Lights from police cars were flashing around the entrance, giving away that something — likely ghostface related — had happened. Your stomach twisted at the thought and you leaned into Chad’s side, getting the feeling that this was ghostface related. He released a shuddered breath, wrapping a protective arm around you.
Chad was the one to point Sam and Richie talking to the police in a corner. He pulled you toward them, but your eyes caught a body-bag being rolled out of the hospital by coroners. There was a tag attached to the bag — a name —, but it was too far to be able to read it.
Was it Tara? Did ghostface finish her?
It didn’t make sense though. If Tara had been killed, Sam would be crying the loss of her sister. Instead, she and Richie were looking at you with sad and pitying faces.
‘’We’re so sorry, Y/N,’’ Sam said, heavy-heartedly informing you that the body in the bag was Dewey.
An agonizing scream derived out of your lungs as all the air was knocked out of them. Your heart began racing in shock and disbelief, refusing to accept that your father was dead. He was strong and resilient, he had survived many ghostface attacks and stabbings. He couldn't be dead, no.
Sam was retelling what happened inside the hospital. How ghostface had attacked Tara and that Dewey came to help them. Although he had retired, helping and saving people was something he would never stop doing.
He fought until whoever was under the killer was knocked out, but he didn't come with Sam, Tara and Richie in the elevator. He went to shoot ghostface, because according to the pattern of the past, it's the only way to kill them.
After a moment, Dewey was not coming out so Richie went back to check on him and found the ex-sheriff in a pool of his own blood — dead.
You slipped from Chad’s grip and ran to the coroners, hot tears streaming like waterfalls. ‘’No! Dad!’’ you screamed as the two men set the body-bag in the back of the van.
Before you could reach them, one of the police who knew you pulled you away. Her heart was breaking at the loss of her old co-worker, but she couldn’t let you get close to the body-bag. Another scream left your lips as you attempted to get away from the policewoman’s grip, the pain in your heart so big you needed to scream.
Chad came over to you, taking over from the police officer, and immediately you stopped screaming, turning them into heavy sobs. You felt your knees giving out, not strong enough to stand anymore. Thankfully, Chad caught you before you fell to the parking lot’s ground.
He didn’t say anything, knowing no words would fix your pain. Chad didn’t have any experience with death. The only person he lost was his uncle Randy, but he wasn’t even born when he died. So he took the support route and wrapped his arms around you tightly.
You leaned against his chest, crying into his hoodie as sobs shook your whole body.
Your mother had been called too. Her car pulled up in the parking lot a few minutes after you. She got out, calling your father’s name like she did in the past attacks, but this time he wasn’t there.
All she saw was her daughter crying in the arms of her boyfriend.
