D'you think if you stuck an apple in Zoro's mouth he'd grow roots and return to the soil? Drew this just over two weeks ago. Didn't post it becauseeeeee uhhhhhh- Every time I draw Sanji his hair just gets bigger. It's out of control istg. Next time I draw him he's going to be 9 parts hair 1 part face.

Another fish jacket?! Another fish jacket <3

This time I tried flat felled seams for the sleeves which was fun and it totally didn't almost kill my sewing machine.

#this one's more my size but I'm not sure if I'm keeping it or not #the photos are taken with partial natural light and partial artificial light so the colours are a little off #i have more of the green which is a thicker almost canvass-y cotton so I think imma make a shirt/jacket #this one kind of turned out boring so I'll have to step it up #sewing #i forget if I have a sewing tag or not #my art #if I could just make a living from one of a kind jackets that would be cool #(hmu if you want to sponsor an iridescent fish jacket)

Simon Riley who was so used to chaos and uncertainty that when he finally had time to settle off duty, he was only able to feel a purpose through repeating his little daily tasks.

Simon Riley who inadvertently encourages you to take better care of yourself because of course you have to brush your teeth at night with him before bed and of course you need to eat breakfast at the table at the same time every morning and why wouldn't you join him on his evening walks every night at 6pm.

Simon Riley who can't help but feel a crushing lack of presence when you're not around some nights, only because you're not there to join him and make his routines "complete." </3

I fixated on the indie game Keep In Mind sometime during 2020, and as a result I've got a whole boatload of drawings that I haven't shared here yet (mostly because I didn't have my blog at that point)

Hell, I've got tons of drawings in general that I haven't shared yet! I should really remember to post some more of 'em from time to time

I was gonna write a whole curated rant about how part of me looks back fondly at these and the other part wants to violently cringe at how I combined a bunch of goofy jokes with amateur attempts at covering serious subject matter... but honestly, this isn't so bad in the grand scheme of cringey mid-teens' artworks. Whichever way you slice it, I was having fun playing around with these little guys that I thought looked neat. And as an added bonus, I think most of these drawings hold up pretty well by my standards today!
