Remus can’t bake for shit, he tries ok but every time he bakes something it always goes wrong, think burnt cookies and sunken cakes

Sirius and James can’t bake either so the three of them rely heavily on Peter the baking king he is for any and all occasions

Now though remus wished he had learnt how, he can no longer walk past cafes and bakeries without feeling a sting of betrayal and Sirius no longer has cake for his birthday anymore

we do not talk enough about how sirius hunted peter down after he killed the potters and fought him. like. sirius probably went insane. probably stalked through the streets of london all hours of the day. probably backed peter into a corner once he found him. probably spat in his face. cursed him out. peter would have babbled excuses until he couldn't anymore. or would see his opportunity and finally drop his act. pulled his wand out immediately. they'd fight and yell at each other. sirius would have asked him why and peter wouldn't have been able to tell him. and peter killed all those muggles and framed sirius. he cut his own finger off to get away. he sent his friend to prison. he ruined the marauders. can we talk about this??? they used to be best friends???? can we TALK ABOUT THIS PLEASE???????

okay so sirius is orion's boggart (exactly like walburga) walburga's horcrux (her angel baby who loved her more than anything turned into her worst nightmare who hated her more than anything who also is now taller and stronger than her and looks eerily similar to her abusive father) regulus' boggart (everything regulus has tried so hard to be sirius is naturally -> represents failure which is regulus' biggest fear, but specifically the fear of failing to sirius. also sirius hit him a lot.) james' boggart (baby sirius getting hurt (stole it from @jmslov4srs ly bby)) remus' boggart (post-prank & post-halloween for a couple years) peter's boggart (post-halloween to death. i like to think despite voldemort being revived peter was still more scared of ex bsf who, literally, a prisoner in his own home) and his own boggart.

One of my biggest pet peeves as a part of the Marauders fandom is how much people downplay the friendship between Sirius and Peter specifically.

I was talking with my friend the other day and we were talking about how Sirius and Peter would have been extremely close. I don’t think people realise that for Sirius to suggest swapping secret keepers to Peter instead of himself, there needed to be a whole lot of trust there.

At the time Sirius couldn’t even trust the love of his life, but he trusted Peter with the life of not only his brother (in everything but blood), but also his godson and one of his best friends. If Sirius couldn’t trust Remus but he could trust Peter, there’s no way that they didn’t have an extremely tight bond.

It pains me to see so many fics where Peter is underhanded by the rest of the marauders, especially when it’s always from Sirius the most. Cause no. It makes no sense. Sirius and Peter might not have been as close as Sirius and James were but they were in no means anything but brothers.
