peter, marlene, and sirius were part of chess club.

peter actually enjoyed it and was one of the best members at it. was sort of the leader of the club, organised the competitions and won almost every time. has his own personalised chess set (made by marlene) and got the club to start playing a mix of wizarding and muggle chess, since that's what he grew up playing

sirius joined on a whim when they were trying to talk to peter about a prank idea but peter had to go to chess club so sirius just decided to join to continue the conversation. but they carried on going cause they kept getting flirted with by so many guys there and were fairly good at it

marlene joined after sirius told her it was 'a secret gay club' and she wanted to find a gf. it was not and she did not. but she stayed and started actually liking chess, being pretty good at it, mostly loved making chess sets for the club

You're like one of the five people I know who watched Moon Girl and I once read a comment on youtube where someone suggested that Peter should be the new science teacher since the school has a shortage of teachers. Which would've been neat, but I think it would be funny if the show itself never acknowledged that Peter is Spider-Man. He would just be that one science teacher that is always late, but they can't fire him because he's a good teacher, and maybe you could see him swinging somewhere in the background.
